The Untold Chronicles of FlameStar

FlameStar, Midnight, Jayhawk and Lumber all hurried across Ponyville to the School of Friendship. FlameStar hasn't seen his old friends in a long, long time. He couldn't be happier to be with his old friends once more. The quartet finally stopped in front of the doorway to the school. FlameStar was excited. Now that his depression is behind him, he felt he'll have a wonderful time with his friends.

"So... do we knock and it'll open?" asked Jayhawk.

"Maybe its a pull door..." Midnight replied.

"Imma knock." Lumber said. The earth pony went up to the door and banged on it hard!

"Lumber! You'll break the door!" FlameStar cried. "Let me try." FlameStar went up and knocked the door. Just then, the doors swung open. There was Starlight and Sunburst here to greet the 4 ponies.

"FlameStar! You're here! I see you brought some new faces." Starlight remarked.

FlameStar beamed. "These are my old friends from the village I used to live at. Meet Midnight, Jayhawk and Lumber."

"Its nice to meet you three." Sunburst replied. "You're a bit early. The showcase isn't for another 30 minutes."

"That's ok." FlameStar said. "We can look around the school." The 4 ponies trotted in and were taking in all the bright colors and rich history the school had to offer. They were astonished.

"FlameStar. I know you well enough that you don't like school." Jayhawk pointed out. "What gives?" FlameStar grinned mischievously.

"It was a front. I DON'T like school." FlameStar explained. "I only pretended to like it because I'd rather not have tongue lashings on the first day." The other ponies laughed. "Yeah. I mean what good could possibly happen in sc--!!" FlameStar bumped into a mare and her saddlebag contents spilled out. "Oh! I'm sorry... I wasn't paying attention... here i got that." FlameStar used his magic to fill the mare's saddlebags again.

"Thank you." Said the mare. FlameStar looked on at her. He never saw a pony like her. She had a cream colored coat, Amethyst purple hair and a nice mane style. Despite his red coat, FlameStar felt like he was blushing.

"Um... *clears throat* who are you? I've never seen you around Ponyville."

"I'm from Los Pegasus." She explained. "I moved here because my parents wanted me to have a normal life and wanted me to learn friendship." FlameStar was amazed. "Now that I look at you, you seem familiar..."

"You might've seen me before once." FlameStar said. "I was the wandering unicorn who was looking for a place to live." She smiled.

"You must've been around then." The mare replied. "Oh right! My name is Lumine Amethyst."

"Nice to meet you, Lumine. I'm FlameStar, and these are my friends: Midnight, Jayhawk and Lumber."

"Hello!" The trio said in unison. Lumine perked up!

"Oh I remember now!" Lumine said. "You're the mysterious pony who defeated Queen Chrysalis, Lord Tirek and Cozy Glow."

"Well well... finally. A pony who knows some culture." FlameStar said smugly. "Kidding..." Lumine giggled. "Well, Lumine, I still have yet to show my friends around. I'll see you later?"

"Sure thing, FlameStar. It was nice meeting your friends too!" Lumine trotted off. Once she was away from hearing range, FlameStar's friends started to tease.

"So FlameStar? When's the honeymoon?" asked Midnight. FlameStar was surprised. He started to blush.

"Never! Now cmon. Let's go to the showcase." FlameStar groaned. "I'll show you some more of the school along the way."

"You should be showing us your plan for that first kiss." Jayhawk said. FlameStar charged up fire from his horn.

"You're making a big mistake..." growled FlameStar. The other ponies stopped.

"Yessh. It was a joke but ok." Jayhawk said as the quartet walked down the halls.

Later, FlameStar and his friends arrived at Twilight's showcase. It was almost time for the princess to make her appearance. Jayhawk and Midnight were so excited they couldn't sit still. The lights shut off and a stage light turned on. Starlight steeped up into the light.

"Good afternoon, creatures of Ponyville. Today it is my pleasure to introduce to you the ruler of Equestria, the maker of Friendship, the keeper of balance and harmony, Please welcome... Princess Twilight Sparkle!" Twilight stepped forward and the ponies were clapping their hooves.

"Thank you very much for your warm welcome. As you know, this is a new year for this School of Friendship." Twilight began. "When I first created this school, my vision was for friendships to spread across Equestria and beyond and strengthen bonds between not just Earth Ponies, Unicorns and Pegasi but all creatures that live on this world. Today, that vision can still keep getting better and remember. Friendship is Magic. Thank you." Twilight stepped off stage. The creatures gave a round of applause for the princess. The 4 ponies were touched.

"If friendship is magic..." Lumber began.

"Is that why you took us here, FlameStar? Out of curiosity." Jayhawk asked.

"Yes," FlameStar answered. "It seems cheesy at first but it really works! The stronger the friendship, the easier battling is!" Now the 3 ponies wanted to strengthen their bonds together as a team. The 4 ponies set out, determined to have strong friendships and help recover with FlameStar.

The 4 ponies had finished their first day classes and came to rest at a spot near a waterfall. They were enjoying a nice dinner-lunch hybrid. FlameStar's friends started to talk about Lumine again.

"You sure the wedding isn't happening soon?" asked Jayhawk.

"Shut it, blueberry." FlameStar groaned. "We're acquainted, and we're just gonna strengthen our friendship."

"Until the moment where you summon all your courage and confess!" Midnight replied romantically. FlameStar shook his head.

"Uhhuh." The red unicorn looked on. "Keep telling yourself that." Then, Rainbow Dash flew over. She was carrying some papers.

"Hey there you 4. You forgot your homework for the day." FlameStar and the others groaned. Nopony likes homework, except maybe Twilight. FlameStar and the others had no choice. FlameStar trotted up to take the homework from Rainbow.

"Thanks, Rainbow..." FlameStar said mildly annoyed. The rainbow pegasus went back to work.

"Out of curiosity. What does the homework say to do?" Lumber asked. FlameStar shuffled through and read the instructions

Your task is to travel around Ponyville and help out at least 5 creatures with their tasks. Write down what you did in the blank area. We'll know if you did them or not so don't lie. Honesty is an element of Friendship after all!

"It doesn't look too bad..." Midnight said. Jayhawk and Lumber nodded in agreement.

"And I get to show you around Ponyville some!" FlameStar replied. "Come on!" The 4 ponies trotted swiftly out of the falls and went into town to help out the others.
