Years into her reign as ruler, Twilight receives news of Celestia's impending demise. So, she rushes to Silver Shoals to be with her beloved mentor when she passes. Once there, she finds a shell of the formerly strong pony...and a question she often asks herself: "why aren't we immortal?"
