Story #1

This is my first story that I've written in my life. I put a lot of time into making this and really tried my best to make this have a good plot and for this to make sense.

I've proof read every chapter to check for grammar mistakes, although I do think I still made a bunch of grammar mistakes, mainly with the commas. I'm no English grammar expert, so please don't be too harsh on me if you do see some grammar mistakes.

Constructive criticism is very much appreciated no matter how harsh it may sound. I'm not really a guy to get mad easily. I can take a lot of stuff thrown at me and just stay chill. Just please make sure to at least tell me how to fix something or make better instead of just saying I'm bad or this sucks. :(

Hopefully, the sex chapter doesn't ruin the image of this story. I just wanted to try and spice things up a little. I'm sorry, Twilight Sparkle.

Enjoy!

Chapter 1 - Sunday Struggle

It was a Sunday morning when Twilight woke up from a vivid dream crying. She was alone in her room again, isolated in her castle. Spike was in the dragon lands, his new home. With Ember being in charge and Fluttershy being the one to change Garble and the bullies, he was now accepted as the newest member of the dragon lands. Every dragon respects and has a great time with him.

Twilight on the other hoof, was near destruction. "Why? Why does it have to be me? Why do I have to have so much stress?" Twilight was crying non-stop for about ten full minutes before relaxing again. She then got up from her bed and went to go take a shower. After taking some time to shower, she levitated a towel over to dry herself off. She then put the towel away and walked over to her calendar.

She looked blankly at the calendar and stared for a while before giving a sigh. She then levitated a quill over and dipped it in ink. She began to write on the calendar on today's day, being Sunday.

The start of no more. When she finished writing, she moved over to the Sunday of next week. She then started writing with her quill again and let a tear drop. The time has come.

She finished with a sigh and put the quill down. She stared at her work and cried softly to herself. After taking some time to cry, she walked back over to the bathroom to wash her face with water. She felt a little better after that. She then went back to her bed to lie down and rest.

After some time of zoning out, she heard a knock on her door. She was unwilling to answer the door but knew it wasn't a good idea to let whoever was at the door wait, so she got up and headed towards it. She opened the door and was suprised. She was greeted with a smiling and happy Rainbow Dash. All Rainbow Dash saw was a sad face. Rainbow turned immediately sad at the sight and questioned with uncertainty. "Oh, hi Twilight. Is everything alright?" Twilight sighed and faced the ground with her eyes closed. "I-I guess," she whispered quietly.

Rainbow felt heartbroken that Twilight was looking so down. She wanted to get to the bottom of this problem and fix everything. She didn't want to see a broken Twilight. "Mind if I come in?" Twilight didn't even say anything. She just stepped aside to let Rainbow in.

After Rainbow stepped hoof in and closed the door, she saw Twilight turn around and just head back to her bed. Something's not right. I need to figure out what is happening to her. That's something a close friend would do.

Or in Rainbow's case, that's what a lover would do. Rainbow did have a huge crush on Twilight for a while now. She loved everything about Twilight. She was so cute when she was nerdy. Always reading a book, doing studies, experiments, even her voice. But now was different. Now was a completely changed mare.

Rainbow followed shortly after, heading towards the direction of Twilight. When she got into her room, she saw her lying on her side with her back faced towards the door hugging a pillow. Rainbow couldn't bare the view. She never thought she'd see Twilight like this ever in her life. She was always a happy and fun mare to be around with.

"Twilight," Rainbow softly whispered as she stepped towards the sadden mare. Rainbow was careful with the words she chose. She did not want to upset Twilight any further than she already is right now. "Twilight, what's wrong? Please tell me so I can help you. I want to help," Rainbow softly asked. The purple alicorn didn't move an inch as she responded in a quite tone, "I don't think you need to worry about that Rainbow. I don't mean anything to you anyways."

Rainbow's eyes went wide with shock. She had many thoughts racing in her head at the same time. Did Twilight seriously say that she didn't mean anything to me? Does she not think she matters to me, to her friends. "Twilight, you matter to me. You also don't only matter to me. You matter to all of us, Twilight. Everypony in Equestria knows you matter. Why would you ever think you didn't matter to me or to the ponies in Equestria?"

Twilight didn't know how to respond. Was she supposed to say that she was thinking about killing herself to put out the stress? Was she supposed to pretend everything is going fine? After some time of thinking about what to say, she responded in a hurt voice while she started to cry again.

"Rainbow, ponies have been using me. Ponies all around Equestria have been using me to help with their needs without giving anything back to me. There was this one stranger who walked up to me. He asked if I had any spare bits to give in order to help feed him and his family. I was of course more than happy to give some without anything in return. The next day, he came up to me asking the same thing. I didn't want to give that many more bits to him because I was starting to run low. I pulled out my bag that had about twelve more bits in it. He looked in and saw the amount of bits I had. I gave him three and he asked for more. I replied that I needed these for myself too. He told me to give them to him and he'll leave me alone. I still said no to him. He wasn't happy with me."

Twilight stopped talking to give herself a moment to calm down and stop crying. Rainbow sat down next to her and rubbed her back gently with her hoof. She was curious now. Twilight stopped talking when she mentioned him not being happy with her. There had to be more to this story. Rainbow needed to find out.

"What happened next?" Twilight started to cry louder now. She knew this was one of the worst things that happened to her. She had trust in Rainbow Dash to let her know the whole story and not judge her. " H-He punched m-me in the f-face, took all m-my bits, and l-left. I just sat there and cried."

Twilight was now in a full crying state. Rainbow noticed and tried to turn her body and hug the poor mare. But as she was turning her body to start to wrap her hooves around the broken mare, she was dragged in towards the purple alicorn. Their body was facing each other with Twilight crying in Rainbow's chest. The cyan pony just lied there and rubbed her hooves around the alicorn's back to calm her down.

After about five minutes of heavy crying, the crying started to fade. Twilight was sobbing very quietly now, much to Rainbow's relief that she had finally calmed down. She tried whispering into her ear very loving things to help calm her down even further and maybe even stop the crying.

"Twilight, can I be honest with you?" Rainbow started to say before she paused and waited for a response. Twilight just looked up with those eyes full of sad tears and made a small nod for her to continue. She decided that now would be a good time to stop crying so Rainbow could say what she needed to say to her. Rainbow gave a sigh, knowing she was going to come clean about her feelings for Twilight. This was the perfect time for Twilight to hear what Rainbow needed to say. Rainbow continued as Twilight was still laying her head on her pillow with her face snuggled in Rainbow chest.

"Ever since I've seen you, I've felt the need to become closer to you." Twilight's ears perked up at this. She replied in a very soft whisper, just barely enough for Rainbow to fully hear, but enough for her to get the message, "go on." Rainbow seemed to get the message as she continued on.

"You're such a sweet and kind mare. You inspire me everyday to move forward instead of staying in the past and not get finished with anything. I know you probably won't believe me, but you're one of the main reasons of why I became a Wonderbolt." Twilight was shocked and looked up at the cyan pony's beautiful eyes. She weakly answered. She didn't expect her to say such things. "What? But w-why?"

Rainbow looked down into the deep eyes of the alicorn. She smiled and said the one thing she'd been waiting to say ever since she and Twilight met. "Because Twilight," Rainbow started to say before she moved her lips closer to the purple mare's ear and whispered a soft, "I love you."

Twilight couldn't believe her ears. Thoughts were running all throughout her head. Did she just say that she loves me? Do I mean that much to her? Rainbow pulled her head back and did something that was unthinkable to Twilight. Rainbow decided to give a quick kiss on her cheek. This made Twilight's heart melt. She couldn't believe that she meant this much to Rainbow Dash. She'd always thought of her as the athletic tomboy to not be this affectionate.

"Rainbow," Twilight softly started to say. "Do I really mean this much to you?" Rainbow just smirked and made a gentle reply. "I love you Twilight. I want and need you to know that. If you don't love me back like the same way I love you, that's absolutely fine with me. But the important thing is that I want you to know how much your friends and I love you. I'm being completely honest with you Twilight. I wouldn't lie about such a topic."

Twilight was shocked throughout her entire body. Rainbow Dash had just said she loves her. She had to be clear with her idea. Would Rainbow want to be marefriends with her? "Rainbow, I didn't think you would be interested in mares. I've always thought you were interested in stallions."

Rainbow proceeded to lay her head on Twilight's pillow while Twilight laid her head back down with Rainbow. The Pegasus made a reassuring smile to the quiet alicorn and spoke in a gentle but confident voice. "I don't blame you if you thought that about me. Many ponies think that I'm straight. Nopony really expects me to be a lesbian. I don't tell anypony what my real orientation is unless they're somepony that I can trust. And if you haven't noticed yet, you are a pony I can trust with my life."

Twilight was feeling a lot better that she had a pony to trust and maybe talk about her conditions to. Twilight just had one more important question to ask. This question would change the world for her depending on the answer Rainbow gives.
"Rainbow, would you be my marefriend if I told you that I am a lesbian?" Twilight was really unsure if she should've asked such a question. She was at least relived that the cyan mare handled the question in a calm manner, or maybe even better. "Twilight, I've never had a marefriend in my life. I've been looking for the right pony. That right pony just happened to be you. I've been wanting you to be my first and forever marefriend."

Twilight was stunned that Rainbow Dash would want to be her marefriend. Of all other ponies in Equestria, it was the athletic mare. Twilight did like Rainbow Dash, but never in a romantic way. The things Rainbow did to calm her down though definitely changed her thinking. She started to have romantic feelings for Rainbow. The Pegasus treated her like she was the top priority of ponies to be cared for. Helping her stop crying, being there to soothe her, asking what was wrong, and admitting that she had feelings for her. How could Twilight not be thankful of that. Twilight just had one more thing to get off her chest.

"Rainbow, I'm very thankful of what you've done for me. I didn't know you would be the type of pony to care so much for another pony. I would expect it to be Applejack or maybe even Fluttershy to do what you're doing. With that being said, I have a confession to make to you." Rainbow's ears perked up. She was scared of what Twilight was going to confess. "What is it Twi?" Twilight took a deep breath and admitted the one thing she had on her mind. "I love you too Rainbow. I would love if we became marefriends. I think it's about time to start doing that."

Rainbow was now confused and questioned the purple mare. "Are you sure? I don't want to force you to be in a relationship with me. I was just saying what feelings I have for you. I just wanted you to know how much you matter to me and to our friends." Rainbow wasn't sure Twilight got the message. "I'm saying how I love you and how you matter to me. I'm saying that if I could, I would become marefriends with you. I don't want to force you to being my marefriend." Twilight seemed to understand what Rainbow was saying, but Rainbow needed a little more of an understanding of what Twilight was saying.

"Rainbow, let me say something. I've always loved you as a friend in the past and nothing more. There was a little attraction I've had for you, but it was nothing big. The things you've done for me though, my feelings went from zero to one hundred for you. I don't want to be in a relationship with you because you forced or want me to. I want to be in a relationship with you because you've shown me how much you really do care for me and our friends. I didn't think that anypony cared for me anymore. They all just seemed to ask me to do stuff to help them and not help me when I'm in need. I don't want to be in a relationship with those types of ponies. You are different. You're the type of pony I want to be in a relationship with. Do you understand what I'm saying Rainbow?"

By the time Twilight was done giving her love speech to Rainbow, she saw tears in the cyan Pegasus' eyes. This time, Rainbow was the one crying and Twilight was the one to soothe Rainbow. Twilight did not expect this at all. "Rainbow. Rainbow, are you okay?" The cyan pony looked up and smiled widely as she hugged her tightly while trying to speak in between her breathes. "T-Twilight. You d-don't know h-how m-much those w-words mean to m-me. I love you so m-much Twilight."

Twilight responded in the most gentle voice she could. "Rainbow, I love you too. I don't think I've ever had a pony admit their feelings to me. I don't even think I've admitted my feelings to anypony except for you."

Rainbow started to calm down again. Her crying slowly died down and she was able to properly speak again. "You haven't? I was truly the first pony you've admitted your feelings to?" Twilight just nodded. There didn't need to be any words. "Am I special to you Twilight." Twilight smiled and responded back to the cyan mare who was fully calmed down now. "Yes Rainbow, you mean everything to me right now. I guess you can say that we are now marefriends?" Rainbow had a big smile on her face and replied with happy thoughts. "Yes Twilight. Can I do something for you to help start this already great relationship we're having right now?" Twilight was a little confused at first, but didn't think too much on it. "Okay. What is it?" Rainbow leaned her pair of lips closer to Twilight's pair. The purple alicorn saw where this was going and leaned in towards the blue pony as well. When they were close enough, they both entered a kissing session. It was the most passionate start they had in the beginning of their relationship.

After about ten seconds of their start of love, they pulled apart. They both smiled at each other and Rainbow spoke up again. "Twilight, would you maybe want to go out and get some food? I haven't eaten anything before coming to talk to you." Twilight smiled gently and gave a quick nod. They both got up from the bed and started to head towards the door before Twilight spoke back up. "Maybe we should clean ourselves a little bit before going out." Rainbow agreed to do so and both went to the bathroom sink to wash their faces from all the crying before heading out.

Twilight then remembered that Rainbow came over here. She didn't know why and asked the Pegasus why she came over. "Hey Rainbow, why did you come over to my place anyways?" Rainbow looked back at her marefriend and replied, "I just wanted to talk to you. We haven't seen you come out of your castle in a while and I wanted to come over to see if everything was okay. I guess it really was a good thing that I decided to come over today huh?" Twilight just nodded and her face fell again, reminding her of her morning before Rainbow came in. Thoughts were starting to come back in her head which haunted her. I will have to confess to Rainbow and my friends soon right? Will they take it seriously? Are they going to think bad of me if I tell them what I'm going to be doing a week from now? Hopefully everything goes well.

Rainbow noticed Twilight's suddenly saddened expression and walked over to embrace Twilight in a hug. "What's wrong Twi?" Twilight just shook the thoughts out of her head and responded quietly. "Oh, nothing. Don't worry about that. I'm fine." Rainbow wasn't so sure. Something was off about Twilight. She pushed it aside however and nudged Twilight on the shoulder remembering to go get food.

"Well okay, but we should go get food now. I'm kind of starving. We can go back to my place and get my bag full of bits. I'll pay for the meal." Twilight was smiling even more at this generous offer to take Twilight out. "Oh, are you sure Rainbow? I mean, I can pay for the meals." Rainbow smiled and hugged her once more. Don't worry about it Twilight. I'll pay for it. I don't want you to spend any more bits than you need to after that sad story you told me about that stallion. Twilight's heart was touched by Rainbow. "Thank you Rainbow." Rainbow gave a quick kiss to Twilight's cheek which made Twilight blush a little. "Don't mention it Twi. Let's get going now."

They both headed out of Twilight's castle and towards Rainbow's house. Once they arrived, Twilight looked in amazement of how beautiful Rainbow's house in Cloudsdale was. "Wow Rainbow. Your house is very beautiful. I love the fluffy clouds we're standing on. It's so soft and warm. I wish my castle had clouds like this."

The cyan Pegasus walked over after grabbing her bits and patted Twilight's shoulder. "Don't you worry Twilight. You could sleep with me in my house for a while if you want." Twilight got excited at the offer. "Really? You'll let me stay here with you?" Rainbow was even more happy that Twilight was all excited. This seems to be getting Twilight away from the terrible thoughts just a few hours ago. "Yes Twilight." The purple mare hugged her marefriend tightly before they both headed off to eat at Sugar Cube Corner.

When they both enter Sugar Cube Corner, they were greeted by Pinkie, one of their closest friends. "Hey guys. How's it going?" Rainbow was first to respond to Pinkie, giving Twilight a break. "Hi Pinkie. We're doing great. Can we get a table for two?" "Sure thing," the party pony responded.

She found them a table and gave them two menus. "I hope you guys are doing well. If you couldn't tell, I'm doing more than well. I'm doing spectacular," the pink pony happily said. Rainbow gave a small chuckle while Twilight just gave a nice smile. "I don't really think I need the menu. Can I just get a glass of pink lemonade and a large fruit salad?" Pinkie took Dash's menu and gave a happy reply. "Sure thing Dashie. What about you Twilight?" Twilight couldn't find anything appealing, so she just went with something similar to what Dash ordered. "I think I'll just have a plain salad and a glass of ice cold water." Pinkie took Twilight's menu and gave another happy reply. "Sure thing you two. I'll get those up before you know it." Pinkie then turned around and hopped all the way to the kitchen to grab their orders.

The two ponies at the table just sat in silence not knowing what to say to each other. Pinkie soon came back with their meals and gave another happy comment. "I hope you two enjoy your meals. They look really pretty and I'm jealous. Fruit is so sweet on my tongue. I just want to eat out of Dashie's bowl right now." Rainbow gave another chuckle and gave a response to that. "I'm sure you would Pinkie." Pinkie giggled at that and gave another reply before heading off. "I'm going to let you two enjoy your meals now. I'll be back to check on you soon." Pinkie left the two mares alone as they ate their meals silently.

After they both got done, Rainbow called over Pinkie and asked for the bill. The party pony came over with the bill shortly after. Rainbow paid for their food and started heading out towards the door. "Thanks for the amazing and tasty food Pinkie. You guys rock," the blue pony said.

The pink pony was so jumpy and hugged Dash tightly for a few seconds while talking into her ear. "Thank you so much Dashie. I've always knew you would love our food." With that being said, Pinkie let go of Rainbow. Twilight was seen and heard giving a small chuckle at the two ponies.

After Twilight and Rainbow said their goodbyes, they left the place. Rainbow then had an idea. "Hey Twilight, let's head back to my place. I don't want to feel lonely and I don't think you would want to feel lonely either." The purple mare wrapped her hooves around her lover and replied with a gentle voice. "Of course. Can we go back to my place first? I want to grab some books to take with me so I have something to read over at your place." Rainbow gave a caring smile. "Of course. Anything for you Twilight." The alicorn was glad that she had a loving marefriend who actually cared about her, not just somepony who was just using her to get what they wanted.

They headed towards Twilight's place and grabbed a few books to put in her bag. After the books were chosen, they headed off back to Rainbow's house. Once they arrived, they went to Rainbow's room. Twilight proceeded to put down her bag of books and they both walked over to the fluffy bed and lied down. Twilight snuggled up to her lover's chest and softly cuddled up. They held like that until the end of the day when it was getting dark. They both then got up to get ready for bed. Once they both got back into bed, Twilight was laying down with her back up against Rainbow's chest. The Pegasus pony was happily eager to wrap her hooves around her lover's frame and fall asleep.
