Twilight Sparkle was busily working in her library to finish the preparations for the 'long range teleportation' spell, that she had found from the Canterlot library the day earlier. The spell was very old and an untested one, so she wasn´t sure how it would work, but she was always eager to try out new things. Not like it was gonna send her to another world, right?
The only problem currently was, that she had all the ingredients but one, a red fire ruby. She knew Spike had a few of them, but he refused to give any of them up, so she just decided to ask Rarity for a regular blue gem, which she happily gave away being the element of generosity and all.
Now that she had all the ingredients, she was ready to begin the spell, although she wasn´t still sure what was the difference of having a red fire ruby and a regular one for the spell, she just shrugged the idea off her mind and started channeling her magic on the ingredients. A moment later something unexpected happened, a portal opened up in the place where all the ingredients had been instead of teleporting her to the chosen location, which would have been Manehattan.
Just as the portal finished opening up, it started sucking everything in the room inside itself, including Twilight herself. She was trying to hang onto a bookshelf, but the force was too strong and she screamed as she was sucked inside the portal to an unknown destination.
At the same time there was a terrible storm going on in my hometown of Karstula, Finland. I just stared at the storm raging when I suddenly saw something fall from the sky. It was too big to be just some bird, so I put on a raincoat and some boots and rushed outside to check it out. Since there was no one else to see it, because my mom and dad had gone to visit my grandparents and my big brother was probably hanging out with his friends and our neighbors wouldn´t probably bother to step outside in this rain. So when I arrived at the scene, to say I was shocked was an understatement, more like... my mind was blown.
There was a familiar looking purple colored mare on the ground unconscious...
