Chapter 5: dinner with the family and gremlins

“He’ll live his kind the drunkers always manage to live. Don’t worry.” Rarity suddenly jumped as she turned around seeing John Q. Lancie, as she watched him taking in a deep breath. For a second she couldn’t help but white light entering from his noise as he looked so relax.
“Just what I needed, plus hey you’re a hero. If you didn’t pull her back. That little girl would die.” Now come on we need to get going. We have a lot of work to do. Then hopefully when this is all over with, you’ll be rewarded. You’ll get your Shining back.” He chuckled and there Rarity and him would begin walking away.
Shining, and Cadance were at this point in the middle of their meal. Enjoying the well done steak, with baked potato and corn.
“So how did you two meet?” His mother asked, a smile as she was cutting up the steak. Her’s being medium rare. Shining took this up quickly, as he grunted,
“Well we met, at the store, I was walking, and we bumped into each other cart. I joked that we should exchange numbers, so we could contact for insurance. It just kind of happened.” He laughed scratching the back of his head. He bit his lips while Cadance nodded,
“Oh yes, we ended up meeting at a bar and had a few drinks and really it was a magical time.” She continued eating between bites as she took a spoonful of corn. Though that was when she suddenly stopped. She was staying in place as though she was frozen in place. Shining noticed her eyes looked milk white. As her face began twisting and turning into a horrified expression. Nightlight looked over at her, clearly concerned the same for Velvet.
“Honey are you ok?” His mom asked as she was about to pat her back. As she just seemed to stop in place. That was when without warning. Cadance began screaming, she screamed so loud it could’ve been mistaken for a Banshee in a fit of unholy rage, as it echoed out. Everyone in the room had to suddenly grab their ears for a chance to dull out the noise. As she suddenly stopped. Her expression looking down as she muttered,
“I’m so sorry! I— I— “ She grabbed her mouth and ran off heading to the bathroom as she suddenly began puking the sound could be heard from the other side of the house.
“Shining is she ok?” Nightlight asked though Shining was clearly confused as they were.
“I don’t know I’ve never seen her like that before.” He got up from his seat heading over towards the bathroom door, giving it a quick knock. As he called out,
“Annie? Are you ok?”
“I’m -Blurrg! Fine just give me a— Blurrg— minute!” She would be like that for a few minutes. Eventually the door opened as Shining looked over. Cadance was hunched over the toilet. The remnant in the toilet looked as though she had spewed pure black sludge. As it hanged over. She began flushing it. As Shining asked once more,
“What happened?”
“Something, wrong— The natural order was messed with, Someone was fucking with death keeping someone alive.” She gagged for a minute.
“Is everything ok!” Nightlight called out as he was walking down. Cadance gave a small cough before standing up her finger snapping as her clothes cleaned themselves up. She quickly flushed the toilet. That Black sludge flowing down before it vanished.
“Yeah, just something hit me wrong. I’m so sorry.” Cadance called out as she walked back into he kitchen. Shining followed her almost mouth dropped as she seemed to quickly go back to normal. They were seriously going to need to talk about this when they got home.
“Oh sweetheart, are you sure, we could set you up in Shinings old room so you could rest up a little.” Though Cadance smiled more, as she seemed more relaxed.
“It’ll be ok, I think I just got hit with something from earlier. But it’s passed now. I’m so sorry if I ruined your dinner.”
“Oh it’s alright, Just as long as your ok. Please just take your time, beside we can talk more, Oh god! We could get Shinings baby photos of him in the bathtub naked!”
“Mom, NO!” Shining shouted in horror, though Velvet only laughed giving a hard giggling fit while rolling her hand down.
“Oh Honey, I wouldn’t do that to you, maybe in the future, we don’t wanna scare the poor girl off.”
“Heh I don’t think he’ll be getting rid of me that easily.” Cadance giggled, as she leaned over resting her head on Shinings shoulder.
“Well is thats so our home is your guy’s home if anything happens. We’re here for you.” Nightlight smiled as he raised his glass of Pepsi, and there they began a good drink.
“Fine mom, hey Where’s Twilight?” Shining asked curious about where his sister.
“Oh you know, her running off with her friends off doing things. Personally I’m fine as long as she’s not doing drugs. But
Twilight was face buried deep in a girl with bacon like hair as she was licking. The van was driving off as they were prepared to solve another mystery, as Though for the girl she was enjoying eating out her friend. The rainbow hair girl off on the side was deep in a bong as they partied all night. Forn the equestrian slewths it was solving mysteries, fucking and doing crazy drugs. Just the life for traveling teens.
When all was said and done. The two would begin leaving, a wave from his parents as they headed off,
“Please come on by again when you have a chance.” The simple sigh as Shining gave a thumbs up Cadance nodding,
“I might, you guy’s seem great. And I’ve got to get that recipe for your steak. It was divine.” She said with a chuckle. Shining though felt horrified by the idea. As he pushed out a smile.
“Well stay around long enough and I’ll show you.” Velvet laughed as they gave them a wave closing the door infront of them. Shining sighed as they headed off towards the challenger. They would eventually leave.
They began driving off when Shining simply asked,
“So what happened? I mean, I’ve never seen you get sick before.”
“Just— I don’t know what happened, All I know is someone or something messed with the fate. Someone was ment to die, but someone ran through and interupted it. Causing that person to live.”
“But isn’t that a good thing preventing someone from dying.” Shining asked as he made a turn.
“It’s not that simple. There needs to be a balance. Fate dictates, That person is kind of a wild card now. Really when someone messes with fate and prevents a person from dying when they’re not a god of death. It can cause chaos, Destruction. Last time this happened it didn’t end well.” Cadance said as she rested back closing her eyes.
“What happened last time?” Shining asked curiously while keeping his eyes on the road.
“There were two events as of the last hundred years, One of them being a god of war who felt mercy for a soldier and prevented him from dying by convincing a soldier not to kill him. Turns out, the soldier was Sombra and resulted in WW2. The other time, it was The serial killer, Flimflam.”
“Yikes, that is bad…” Shining responded as he looked over at her with a smile she looked so relaxed— more opened as she seemed to be close to falling asleep. It almost made Shining forget that she was a goddess.
“It can be, though whatever happens with that survivor. Who knows only the future will tell. But There might be chaos. Shining— I think I’m gonna sleep some wake me up when we make it home.”
“Ok rest up you’ve earned it Annie.”
“Thank you.” Cadance said as she would rest her head down almost falling on his shoulder and his heart skipping a beat at this but simply smiled as he would begin driving home. Not even bothering to turn the music on.
Shining would drive the rest of the way and looked over listening to the goddess Snooze. A soft moment as he set the car in park. He watched her for a minute and couldn’t help but think,
Maybe its not too bad, us being married. He sighed before nudging her a bit and than muttering
“Hey wake up there,” he shook her some though Cadance brushed him off. Some moments Shining wondered what it would be like to be a god? Though sighed as he got out and moved around. He lurched her over his shoulder. The enhance strength she had given him was really coming in hand as he carried her off. Back to their apartment, into their bed where she would rest up for the rest of the night. Shining would head to bed later after getting in some television. Something on mythology. He wasn’t sure, all he could ever think about was the goddess in his bed. Also the fact something was happening that was messing with the balance of nature. Yet something also, a feeling he just couldn’t push away. It was a bad feeling, a feeling that just said that there was something wrong with the world.
In the early hours of the morning, Shining suddenly heard a crashing sound coming from the living room. Shining groaned hard, as he looked over seeing Cadance still asleep. As he began walking over into the living room. He moved around the corner. That was when he saw it. His door broken down, as Shining looked off to see the outside of his apartment.
“What the hell?” He muttered seeing his door hanging off from the henge's. He was rather confused for a second. When suddenly without warning a creature ran right into him. It growled and screamed as it seemed to scurry along.
“Holy fuck shit!” Shining screamed as he looked over at it. The thing was a short figure.
“Where is Goddess!?” It growled as it began running up the wall, as it clawed around, while it looked in the pantry, and throwing cereal boxes all around.
Shining only had a minute to see it as it was throwing stuff out of his cabinets It was a small creature around five feet. Long pink hair, black eyes. As it seemed to be wearing a plummer jumpsuit. Long pointy ears. It’s skin seemed to be slightly reddish pink. Such a thing was quite strange though it suddenly turned around at him hissing. Shining couldn’t help but scream.
“Hey! Quit throwing my food!” He reached over grabbing a broom and quickly banging it against the cabinet. The creature seemed to hiss at him, before jumping off. It ran back into the living room and suddenly
“Where is goddess!” It growled as Shining turned the living room light on, and he realized it was messing with his tv. It ripped the back off and began messing with Circuits in the back. The television began changing channels as he watched it suddenly begin playing porn.
“She’s asleep, damn it! Now quit fucking with my television!” Shining suddenly grabbed a ball that was hanging off on the side throwing it at the little devil. It missed by a mile hitting his television breaking the flat screen tv. Shining groaned in annoyance, as he ran at the creature. That was when the little goblin like this suddenly jumped at him. It screamed as it latched onto his face.
“Mother fucker!” Shining grunted as he slammed into the wall, trying to get this thing off him. It wrapped it’s legs around his face as it called out,
“Where is my goddess!” It was there Shining realized that he was dealing with a female. A female what? Who knew as he groaned as he kept slamming onto the wall.
He manage to pull the little thing off him and throw it out the door. A Deep breath, as he watched it bang against the wall. He sighed as he imagined it was down, and suddenly looked over seeing Bast sitting there. Her tail swaying as she was in her cat form.
“Why didn’t you help me?” he grunted,
“Cause it was too much fun, and how often do you see a gremlin headbutt a humans in the ass.”
“Wait what do you… Gahh!” He suddenly felt something hard push into his butt causing him to fall on his stomach as he turned around suddenly seeing that goblin— Gremlin like creature suddenly clawing at him. It’s mouth opened while revealing needle teeth, with jet black eyes. It looked like a demon, with soft feminine features and heavy scares over her eyes.
“Bring me my goddess, Male!” it screamed as Shining suddenly began calling out,
“Bast! Do something! Come on!” as he rolled around with the little creature. Holding onto him like there was no tomorrow. Her legs were like iron.
“Oh I will, where’s the popcorn this is hilarious!” Bast laughed as she was rolling on her back laughing louder.
“Well catch this!” Shining screamed as he suddenly threw the Gremlin at Bast, and the creature suddenly screeched.
“For the Goddess!” as it grabbed Bast, and started Biting on her ear. Shining couldn’t help but imagine a small child that was pretending to bite the cat’s eat. Bast let out a blood curling screech.
“Help me, I as a Goddess commands you!” It screeched as it was taking the abuse from the little gremlin. As it was like a child on a sugar rush with no end of the madness.
“Oh I’ll help you alright, just let me get the popcorn.” He ran into the kitchen as he grabbed a small pile of water. Figuring that he would get some personal revenge on the cat goddess, as he filled it with warm water, and suddenly threw it at the two Bast suddenly screamed,
“No! Don’t get her wet!” But it was too late, as the water landed on both her and the gremlin. Suddenly the Gremlin stopped moving. It stood there for a second as it was covered in water. Her body shaking as she was shivering. That was when it let out a scream as something began popping out of her back. Shining blinked a few times, as he suddenly saw standing right next to the little monster— was another damn gremlin!
It was standing their naked it’s body more exposed as it revealed a short stack, with long blue hair, Light Dark skin, and more reddish eyes. The other Gremlin looked at her clone a surge of anger, as it looked towards it’s naked self and suddenly screamed,
“There can be only one Pinkie!” as it suddenly pulled out a hammer twice its side and slammed it right down on the clone gremlin, practically squishing it. The clone didn’t have time to react. Shining stood there for a second. As it seemed to sink in. Shining suddenly screamed,
“What the flying fuck!”
He suddenly found this Pinkie jumping at him, when a voice called out clearly tired,
“Whats going on?” Pinkie stopped hammering in on her clone that was clearly dead at this point, Shining stopped questioning his life choices. Bast at this point looked exhausted as she laid on her back.
Cadance was standing in the doorway. Wearing a black teddy, with a red bathrobe that wasn’t tied closed. Shining felt his jaw dropped as he almost forgot about his attacker. Though Pinkie suddenly had a wide smile. Showing off those sharp teeth. Her breathing was getting heavy as she suddenly made a jump for Cadance. Shining was close to running over interveining as he saw the damage that little snout had done to him, and even Bast. But what shocked him next was how the little monster had suddenly began hugging Cadance.
“Goddess, oh great goddess. I’ve missed you.” Pinkie seemed to be kissing her arm over and over again. Just a big old ball of sunshine at this point. Shining shook his head, finally asking.
“Cadance— Who is that, No what is it?” he pointed towards the creature while Cadance looked nervous even giving a light laugh.
“Oh her. Well this is Pinkamina, she’s a follower of mine… and she’s a Gremlin, honestly she’s really a nice girl.”
Shining almost wanted to roll his eye.
“Yeah she’s real nice, I mean she really did a number on me, and Bast… Also ok what the flying hell happened there she got wet and suddenly there was a second one and she smashed it with a damn hammer?”
Cadance took a second and looked towards Pinkamina, as she asked,
“Pinkie is this true?” she looked at the Gremlin that looked away in shame.
“Yes, But I was looking for you, you went missing and I thought he kidnapped you. I wanted to save goddess.” She looked guilty for it as she shuffled her foot at that.
“Pinkamina! That is horrible, Now appologise to Shining, he is my husband now! You treat him with respect.” She wagged her finger and Pinkamina looked sad and quite upset. Tears rolling into her eyes at this point as she suddenly shuffled over towards Shining.
Shining almost kicked her— He didn’t want that thing coming close to him but she suddenly gave him a hug. Her head pushing on his stomach as she seemed to be sniffling.
“I’m so sorry Goddess, Husband please forgive me. I didn’t mean to hurt you!” He felt tears pushing into his stomach as he also realized that she was kissing his stomach over and over again.
“It’s ok, just— Don’t try and kill us, also please don’t break my tv again.” He muttered as he was feeling rather shocked. Pinkie nodded with a smile,
“Will fix it!” as she suddenly began pulling tools out of nowhere and running towards the tv. Shining watched it rather suprised not sure what he could say as Cadance wrapped her arms around him.
“Try not to be mad at her, She’s a nice creature. She’s mainly passionate with her goals. Though she can over do things.” There was suddenly a crash sound as Shining looked over seeing his television cracked as Pinkie was hitting it with a hammer.
“Just to warn you Gremlins have a habbit or messing with tech but have trouble fixing them so the Tv might not be the same after this.”
“Great just great.” Shining rubbed his head in pure annoyance. Cadance reached over and caressed his chest as she nibbled his ear as she whispered with that hot heavy voice.
“Gremlin’s are also amazing fucks in the bed. I should know- They might reproduce Asexually, but they are still anatomy correct.” She licked his neck as her hand sneaked over gropping his cock. Shining couldn’t help but feel his cheeks turning crimson as she turned around wiggling her ass as she headed off. Shining gulped and called out,
“Um Pinkie… don’t set anything on fire. I’m heading to bed. Also fix the door!” There was a loud grunt from the Gremlin as she was going off back to work with much enjoyment.
Shining sighed as he followed Cadance off the bed. He needed a good night sleep. He walked into his bedroom seeing Cadance back under the covers her eyes closed, and Shining wondered: What do goddess even dream about? He wondered if they could dream. Some questions seemed strange. Though his questions only raised more. As time went on. Hell he didn’t even believe in a god, but now he was here married to a Goddess. His life invaded by a gremlin, and another goddess that just hanged around.
Life was truly strange. He looked at Cadance for the longest time. Before getting under the covers as he got comfortable. In some ways he felt more at home. He even began thinking of an old song.
One of these night ’s, I’ve been searching for the daughter of the Devil himself. I’ve been searching for an angel in white. I’ve been waiting for a woman who’s a little of both.
In some ways maybe he found that woman— That goddess, though even when he looked at her. He kept wondering about her. He questioned everything that he might’ve believed in. As his heart skipped a beat. Slowly he began falling asleep. For a second he thought he felt a hand pressing against him.
Shining groaned as he woke up early in the morning. When he tried getting up he found he couldn’t.
“W—What? He muttered as he lifted his head. There he saw the little Gremlin laying on top of him. Snoozing away with a light yet oddly cute snore. Her jumpsuit off as she laid on her back naked. The covers not even on her as she took soft deep breaths Her small breast moving up and down as she inhaled and exhaled. Her hair a complete mess. He looked over and saw Cadance still asleep, the covers off her as she had a leg falling off the bed. She snored louder as she looked kind of silly. As she had an arm on his chest.
Shining grunted trying to move out when he suddenly looked over to his left. Bast was laying their currled up as a black cat. Her tail whipping him in the face. The cat goddess, was clearly the only one that wasn’t snoring.
“I admit I’ve always fantasized about having multiple woman in bed with me… But this wasn’t what I was expecting it to be.”
Eventually Shining was able to pull himself out from being dog pile. He got dress and headed into the kitchen the place was a bit of a mess. He probably would clean later, as he made himself some breakfast. Nothing crazy. Some toast, a little bacon. But he let the meal cook as he stood over the oven.
“Hey babe.” He suddenly heard Cadance call out, He turned his head over looking at her. A light smile as she walked over wearing the robe that was clinging onto her perfect figure.
“Nothing much just making breakfast thats all.” He flipped the bacon over the sweet sizzling sound was like music to his ears as he heard the toast popping.
“Aww, you could’ve waken me up I’m sure I could’ve cooked something very nice for us.” She wrapped her arm around him. Shining felt her firm breast pressing against him as he shuddered imagining what she might make, remembering what she had made.
“It’s fine, beside I enjoy cooking at times. Beside you’ve cooked the last couple of meals I wanna do something for you.” He looked back at her giving a soft smile. Cadance nodded as she pulled back.
“Ok, though I can’t wait to try what you made.” She smiled as she motioned off sitting at the dinning table.
They eventually had breakfast. Which was delicious Cadance was clearly enjoying her food, and Shining the same especially since he was the one who was making it. Shining would begin getting dress and ready to head off to work.
“Have a good day sweetie.” Cadance said giving him a kiss on the cheek. Shining nodded with a smile,
“Thanks and please keep Pinkie from burning the apartment down…”
“Don’t worry I will Bast will keep an eye on her while I’m working.”
Shining nodded thought wasn’t sure what might happen as he gave a long sigh. As he closed the door behind him and began driving off to work. The radio playing more music as he heard the lyrics

The way the guitars played and the music blaring Shining couldn’t help but feel more similarities to his life with this song. Just one of those days, on of those nights. Shining felt himself getting lost in the song, as his body drove the car. It seemed to last till he finally realized that he was in the parking lot.
His head shaking as he looked around shaking his head. A rumble sigh as he got out. The song stuck in his head as he headed off into the factory. SImply humming: I ’ve been looking for the daughter of the devil, I’ve been looking for a woman in white.
Work, like most things seemed to go by without a hitch, sure they were going through a bit of a shortage and he wasn’t working on the magnets. But he was working with the die cut. Those gloves annoying him as he liked the feel of grabbing something. But thanks to one moron who decided to run his finger through the blade here he was wearing these things with the threat of being written up if not. He kept himself in silence as he took a long deep breath. He was simply thinking about watching the game at this point. It was the cubs going against the red sox. He chuckled some as he wished he could’ve been to an actual game but it was just one of those things.
The sliding of the die cut moving on when suddenly without warning he felt a hand grab his shoulder. He practicly jumped out of his skin as he looked over. It was Big Mac, and something seemed off instead of the relaxed smile he was frowning in a way.
“Something wrong?” Shining asked while Big Mac nodded,
“Yeah everythings fine but the big boss wants to see you.” Big Mac simply nodded and Shining couldn’t help but curse under his breath.
Mr.Smith was a pain in the ass, especially when he was in a mood. Shining remembered the time a new guy complained about not fully being hired, and went straight towards the vice president, when his 90 days were up. Apparently what happened was Mr. Smith gave a wide grin grabbed his shoulders and personally walked him to the door, telling him that he wouldn’t be hired. Shining shuddered some wondering what the guy might want to talk to him about— Hell Shining did everything to avoid even being near the guy. Thankfully he never seemed to be in his department, except once in a good while.
“No idea, just heard from HR, he wants to talk to you and soon. Don’t worry I’m sure it’s nothing.” Big Mac patted his back as Shining nodded giving a slight thumb up and began heading off. He undressed from his work fit and headed off to the other side of the building. His heart thumping, as he prayed to god— Hell he was praying to Cadance that he wasn’t going to be fired. It took him a second to laugh as he realised he was praying to his wife that he wasn’t fired. Truly life was weird.
Shining headed up the stairs and found himself soon walking into the General Managers office. Though Shining was more confused as he walked in. Instead of seeing Mr. Smith he was seeing someone else. Mr.Smith was a large black man who was bold beside his who wore fine suits and a black tie. The man sitting there was nothing like him. He was thing, more white. Looking a bit off. As his hair was slicked back. Wearing a grey suit that was a little patched up and was drinking a bottle of scotch. He was slightly handsome, and clean shaved.
“Um… Where’s Mr. Smith?” Shining asked as he kept himself halfway through the door. Something about the man was giving him a real red flag. Warning lights shooting in his brain as he didn’t like being around him.
“Oh please come in, Don’t worry Mr. Smith had to leave something came up, something about his daughter being in the hospital. Don’t worry about it. Take a seat.” He pointed over towards the chair that was across the desk.
“Ok, So who are you?”
“Well you can call me, Mr. Q. Lancie. Now take a seat, I want to talk with you.” Q. Lancie grabbed some papers as he straightened them out, though his eyes seemed to remain on him. Shining shuddered and walked in. Not realizing the door closed behind him. The faint sound of clicking was barely audible as Shining sat down.
“So from your file it says that you recently got married.”
“Um, yes, it was quite recently actually. I didn’t think that you’d have that in my file.” Though Shining was more curious. Something else wasn’t right about this man. The way his eyes twitched the ticks his fingers made. It was as if he couldn’t sit down.
“We normally get that information, now please tell me whats her name? How did you both meet? When did you meet?” he was confident though fast talking making Shining imagine he was once a car salesman. Trying too hard to push an old clunker.
“I really don’t think thats none of your business, It was more on my time than the company and she’s not an employee.”
“It’s for insurance reasons. I’ll hand some paper work out. But please why not answer the question.” He tapped more, as he watched Shining. Those eyes, for a second the young man imagined they were flashing slightly but those pearly white teeth glowed more. So full of life.
“I really think this is something that Hr should talk to me about not you— Beside this is rather personal information.” Shining was about to get up when Q. Lancie slammed the desk.
“I demand you tell me!” He raised his voice more, suddenly his mask dropped revealed an angry man, his eyes sunken in.
“Fuck what the hell!” Shining muttered shocked from it.
“Sorry lost my cool, Cadance, has always gotten on my nerves.” Q. Lancie said as he chuckled.
“Um I’ve never said her name before.” Shining muttered though Q. Lancie sighed, as he realized he was caught.
“Fine, you caught me. Names John Q. Lancie— I’m a god.” He reached over bringing his hand over. Shining was about to take it. But something told him that wouldn’t be a good idea. So he left the hand hanging there till John Pulled it back.
“What are you a god of?” Shining asked. Since he wasn’t well coursed with gods. Especially one that went with the name Q. Lancie.
“Oh you know god of Life. God of the this and that- Yada, yada.” Under-minding it, as he pushed the title away.
“The point is, I’m a God. I’m one of the big ones. I was old when your great, great grandfather wasn’t even a sperm in his daddy’s ball sacks. Now answer me, why are you married to Cadance.” His fingers clawed the desk. As he watched him.
“It just kind of happened, had a few drinks and we just got married. Simply as that.” He chose his words carefully, unlike Cadance it was clear that Q. Lancie here was not one to play around or even tease. No this god was not in a good mood.
“It just happened do you say? I’m curious Mr. Fremont, mind if I call you that. Oh well I don’t care much. Do you know the Shininggers A mortal faces when married to a god?”
“Well if I look over some of it, I guess death and misfortune.” He imagined with stories from Apollo and Zeus he’d been reading up on gods relationship during his breaks.
“In a way though also the fact that, sometimes a God is married to another, and gods don’t like to share.”
“Well, I didn’t know that. Hell I’m getting use to this, So maybe you should calm down John.” Shining said, his Spine felt as though it was freezing but pushed on. He wouldn’t show fear to this god.
“Well, maybe you should leave her. It’ll be good for both of you. Keep a balance if I can suggest.” Q. Lancie pulled his mask back on with confidence and pretending to be someones friend. But Shining could see past it now. It cracked and would be harder to hide it.
“Well I don’t think I will she seem’s happy, and quite frankly I’m starting to fall for her more.” He muttered as he crossed his arms reassuring himself. He really didn’t like this guy and began imagining him more as a complete jack ass.

Sure she had to spend a few nights stripping, feeling the eyes of other men watching her drooling over her with lustful want. Other times she had to have her husband fuck her like no tomorrow. But she managed to gain her ability. Her body shudder more as she finished sweeping up. There she sat back getting nice and comfortable.
“I should get started on Dinner, I might try and make ribs. Does Shining like ribs?” She wondered and was excited as she was about to run into the kitchen and begin cooking something right up. Suddenly there was a knocking on the door. Cadance slouched her shoulder and headed off towards the door. A slight wave of her palm the door began turning translusive. For a second she saw Shining standing there. Taking a step around waiting for her to answer the door.
Cadance couldn’t help but feel her heart skip a beat. The way she saw him, in many ways he was just a simple mortal. But in others he was perfect. A goofy weirdo that new how to make her feel better. Feel almost human, though something was off he should’ve been at work. Yet it was clear he had at least another four hours till he would be getting off.
The goddess reached over and opened the door.
“Shining you’re home early?” she watched him for a second. Her eyes gently glowing as she was making sure he wasn’t really a demon in disguise of a shifter.
“Yeah, well they let me off work. You know how it is sometimes they let us off if we don’t have enough work. So, I figured I’d surprise you. Heck I got you something.” He reached over pulling out a small black box. He opened it. A small necklace with a gold chain, with a small diamond charm on the bottom. It was more stunning. As she reached over covering her mouth in surprise.
“Shining, you didn’t.”
“I could, now come on lets get inside. The night is young.” He gave a slight smirk as he reached over slapping Cadance right on the ass. It caused her to bounce into the air as she nodded, Giving a light giggle before they would eventually begin heading off inside.
Cadance couldn’t help squealing in delight.as she felt him pick her up over his shoulder, heading straight towards the bedroom, for what might have been a fun night.
Shining sighed as he began climbing up the stairs, It had been an extremely long day and infact was running late. Since it was around two in the morning. Feeling absolutely exhausted as he was clearly having a bad day. Some dick head had hit and ran his car, and cause the camera’s weren’t working at his work No There was no evidence so he would have to call the insurance company tomorrow. A report was filled out, though who knows If they would find the bastard. The charger was going to need to repair the passenger sides rear.
This only added to the annoyance. Then add to the fact he had basically been running around his part of the factory. Going from inspecting, and even helping on the main line, cause people decided not to show up. Sure, most people could consider it nothing more, but for him it was just aggravating. Though Shining was just ready to get home, maybe get into bed and curl up with Cadance. Maybe tomorrow, would be a better day. A light groan, as he walked right inside.
Pinkie laid there snoozing on the couch with a controller in her hand as she had a blanket covering a part of her body. Shining listened to how she snored. And gave a light kick on the blanket. It was rather funny, as Shining moved over and pushed the blanket over her, even covering her breast. She grunted,
“Burn baby burn, hehehe!” Pinkie mumbled in her sleep. Shining flat out wasn’t sure what she meant by that and probably didn’t want to know. He sighed and began heading over towards the bedroom. He noticed a bit Bast wasn’t around. Normally she’d sneak up and try to bug him or make a snarky remark. But for the most part. Shining imagined that she might’ve just gone to bed or was having a night on the town. Cat’s are weird, so why wouldn’t a Cat goddess, be just as weird.
“Well as long as she isn’t causing trouble or puking in my shoes.” He sighed and started heading towards the bedroom. He gave a groan and called out,
“Cadance I’m home!” He reached over and opened the door. He turned the light on and what he saw shocked him. His heart had practically stopped right there. His eyes turning into dinner plate, as he almost heard the sounds of something snapping. Cadance was laying there naked in bed, her arms around someone. Her body holding them closer, as she had a smile. Sure she was a sleep. But the person her arms were wrapped around was another man.
Shining didn’t know who he was, as he felt his hand tightening up into a fist, a part of him snapping, as he popped his neck. Anger raising over him, as he wanted to grab the fucker, grab him and throw him in the wall.
Who the fuck is he!? Why is he in my bed! Shining felt his mind racing as he tried to find the right words something, anything. But when he opened his mouth the only things that came out of that hole he called a mouth was simply.
“What the flying fuck is this!” His voice was a lot higher then what it was suppose to be. Though suddenly Cadance woke up practically jumping out as she looked over towards Shining a smile, as she was still half asleep.
“Hey honey, ready for another round already?” Though Shining wasn’t paying attention to her.
“Shining what are you doing over there?” Though Shining growled in annoyance as he thought he heard something else. His blood boiling more, though pushing the anger as much as he could as he watched the stranger on the other side of the room.
“What am I doing here Who the hell is that!” He pointed over as Cadance turned her head. She didn’t recognize the person ether. It was a strange man laying there his head in the pillow. Long dirty blonde hair. Slightly tan skin. Heck he had a few various Tattoo’s on his back. Though The goddess, didn’t recognize her. Her mind went blank as she was realizing what was going on. She turned over looking towards Shining as she called out.
“Shining this isn’t what it looks like! I can Explain!” She reached over pulling herself out of bed. Revealing she was completely naked under the bed,
“I’m sure you can explain I’m really sure, But what the fuck! Was everything a lie?”
“Shining none of this is a lie. I love you I swear I never would’ve slept with anyone without you!” Cadance yelled out, but she saw the anger in his eyes— No there was more to it than anger, sadness- Broken.
“Really none of its, a lie. You’re the goddess of Lust and Death, you can do so much I mean, did I even break up with Rarity, Did you mess with it!” He grunted hard as he watched Cadance remembering what Q. Lance had told him. It was there Cadance looked hurt, as she looked away. Tears in her eyes.
“I did, I screwed with your previous relationship… a bit on purpose, but I’m so sorry I never told you. I didn’t want to hurt you but Shining I swear I Love you, I wanted to be with you. So, I just made a small suggestion to her. It was wrong but… I wanted you so much.” She sniffed hard as she was getting ready to cry, her face turning red. As she tried pushing the tears away.
Shining’s face, was turning even more red, It was as if something else snapped. As he was feeling his blood boiled more. He wanted to scream yell at The very Goddess he called his wife. He felt betrayed felt as though nothing mattered. He was trying to ignore that curious part that forced him to ask the question. Shining wanted to ask more questions but he just turned around and walked out of his bedroom.
Cadance watched him walk out of the room as she ran to the door, screaming out.
“Shining please don’t go we can talk this over! I’m sorry!” She felt herself crying more— Though soon it turned to rage. Not for Shining but for whoever dared lay in her bed. It was clear they weren’t human, She knew that whoever she slept with was Shining, or at least looked like him. But it was clear now that was a Lie. As she began to engulf herself in flames. Those flames would be blown out by a chilling wind as Cadance stood there, her black suit on a scythe in the other. As she looked towards her bed,
“Who are you!” she growled in anger ready to strike him down, The natural order be damned if it meant that she could take the soul of the bastard who dared, trick her in bed and mess with the love of her eternity. She would deal with the trouble later on. Though when she looked for the stranger. The bed was empty and whoever it was, had vanished without a trace. Cadance screamed in anger as she swung the weapon hitting a dresser draw. The Dresser was cut in half. Before it dissolved into ash.
Shining began driving off, Driving far faster then he should have. But at that moment he needed to let off a lot of steam.Passing random Cars, Shining grunted his head starting hurting though took deep breath trying to get relaxed
“So, she broke your heart huh.” A males voice said causing Shining to swerve to the side, as he felt his heart racing faster.
“What the fuck!”
“Oh don’t be suprised it’s me Q. Lance, Now Was I right she broke your heart.” The god said while putting his feet on the dashboard. Not even wearing a seat belt.
“Should you put your seat belt on?” Shining asked gritting his teeth, as he was feeling annoyed. Though Q. Lance shook his head,
“Don’t matter I’m a god, as long as im here you won’t get hurt or in a wreck.” Q. Lance smirk widened while snapping his finger and a small drinking glass appeared a umbrella sticking out as he took a drink.
“Hmm Martini, stirred not shaken.” Q. Lance joked while taking a drink.
“So, what do you want? Still trying to fuck with my life.”
“Hey, I didn’t do anything, though about about this. There’s a bar over there. I’ll do you a nice favor. Go in there and I’m sure that you’ll feel better, especially after some Jack Shiningiels.”
“What the hell do you…” Before Shining could finish his sentence Joe Q. Lance was gone. Shining only sighed as he decided to head right into the bar. Maybe he did need a drink.
Shining would make a turn towards the bar. A Neon sign that read. Bag of Bones. The light giving a soft glow even flickering. Shining gave a huff as he parked and began going inside.
Cadance wasn’t sure what she was going to do. As she walked back and forth in the living room.
“What am I going to do? Should I go out there, an find Shining explain whats going on… Fuck— Maybe I should call the other gods. What the hell is going on!” Cadance was freaking out, since she wasn’t sure what was even going to happen. She didn’t want to lose Shining. But she was worried she might actually push him away. It was then she saw Bast strutting on in and bouncing on the couch. She sat there tail swishing before she started transforming into a more humanoid being. As she stretched out.
“What a wonderful night… Cadance is there something wrong?”
“Yes, something happened, I slept with someone I thought was Shining, and he wasn’t Shining came in and he thinks I cheated on him.”
“Oh boy… That sucks, Though hey give him time, he’ll come back and you guy’s can talk about it.”
“Maybe, but I worry. Somethings happening. I wasn’t able to tell who it was I slept with. It narrows it down. We’re dealing with a god. But why, what would they get from hurting my marriage to a mortal?” Cadance sighed as she sat down looking down at her hands simply wondering who it might have been. A part of her wish she was holding Shining, She was feeling absolutely emotional.
“Hey, it’ll be ok.” Bast said her eyes looking wider almost adorable as she turned into a kitten and cuddled up into Cadance. Cadance simply responded by petting behind Bast’s ear as she sat there for the time waiting, and hoping that Shining might come back. Pinkie was still asleep on the other side of the couch snoring away. Just not a care in the world.
The bar was quiet, soft music playing. Though whatever they were playing Shining didn’t care— he wouldn’t really say anything, as he felt numb. He took a seat at the bar stool and ordered a drink. The bartender nodded dropping down a shot of whiskey.
“Yeap gonna need one of these maybe more.” Shining, grabbed the shot glass, taking a small drink. While trying to get far more comfortable then he really needed to be.
“Shining is that you,” a voice came in. The voice was soft barely registrable from the music. But Shining still turned around to see who it was when he saw her. It was Rarity. She looked disheveled, hair wild. Not compared to the neat and nice look that she had when they broke up. Shining sighed looking down at his drink for a moment, as he muttered,
“What are you doing here Rarity, I figured that you’d be off at a fancy wine party or trying to move up in life from little old me.”
“Shining I’m sorry, I never wanted to hurt you, something came over me. I swear.” She moved in sitting by him Though Shining scooted over.
“The fact is you did. The thing is it still hurts, I know its been months but seeing you, it opens the wounds.”
“It was a mistake, seriously, I don’t think I’ll ever do it again. Here let me order you another drink.” Rarity raised her hand and bringing another drink for both of them, the bartender nodded while pouring them a drink. Leaving a bigger glasses for each of them imagining that they would be having a long conversation. Hell the Bartender left the bottle.
Rarity, and Shining drank throughout the night pouring drink after drink. Really not talking. It was clear they were drinking their problems away with a long sigh, Shining drinking a little more than Rarity had. Though the young man didn’t care, the numbing feeling buzzed over him.
Shining groaned hard as he looked towards Rarity, as he looked towards her she was nice looking, even though she looked as if she was going through the ringer. Maybe the drink helped her looking even better. Hell Shining was even feeling himself really open up as he moved in closer.
“Yyyou are so Perdy.” Shining muttered his speach slurred, Though a part of him. That slim part of his conscious that cared for Cadance pushed on. He wanted to push it away, but it kept on persisting like a fly buzzing in your ear.
“Thank you, I’m glad you think I’m Pretty.” Rarity giggled, though it was a nervous one. While she moved in closer, giving a light smile.
“Um, I’m wondering, do you wanna come back to my place?” Rarity gave a smile, though there was desperation in her eye, Even Shining as drunk as he was could see it. He didn’t like it, even Cadance was coming back to his mind, how she smiled, and giggled. It felt genuine. Then what was that she said before why are you over there, or did she say? Why are you here?
Shining grunted some as he began thinking about Cadance how she made him feel alive. How he felt like a better person. Though he looked at Rarity, and felt nothing. No desire no need, Just the idea of Cadance.
I wanna be with Cadance. He thought as he muttered,
“Nah, I don wanna, I wanna go home to me WIffe.” He slurred out more drunkly. Though Rarity looked more offended.
“I mean we could go back, I could even su-”
“Ma’am he said no, We don’t need any trouble here.” The Bartender pointed to the sign,
No, means no— No excuses for anyone.
“Yesh— Now leave, I wanna drink more! Drink till I can go home and see, mee whife!” Shining muttered giggling like a goober, as he suddenly began spinning on the chair, Rarity looked nervous as she was being watched by the bartender. She knew she needed to leave with him. Maybe get him home— Then do what? She couldn’t just sleep with him while he was this drunk. It would be wrong. She would basically be raping him. It felt as though a 20 lbs of lead was falling down her stomach.
“I think you should go home.” Rarity muttered, damn Q. Lance, Damn that God who was more like a monster. She wouldn’t stoop so low. While Shining who giggled more and nodded,
“Ahh right, A’ll go and do thaats!” He giggled as he was about to jump out of his seat. But when he did he began wobbling as if he was walking around like a newly born horse.
“Sir I don’t think you’ll be well enough to drive, I’ll call you a cab.” The bartender said as he cleaning the counter up.
“Okay doky, artachocky. Hahahha!” Shining snickered as he took a seat down. Rarity giggled some. Shining was a goofy drunk. Almost childish, Though clearly a goof ball. She was tempted to get him in bed and tuck him up.
“I know where he is, let me get you the address.” Rarity said, with a long sigh before she moved back over. The bartender watched her suspiciously though nodded, handing her a piece of paper and pen.
Rarity would write down his address. In a way she was tempted to write down her own. But she knew that wouldn’t be right. Her heart ached as she felt like shit— She even had a feeling that the bastard was gonna hurt her for failing. But in a way this was a good fuck you, to Q. Lance. Then the fact it wouldn’t be a burden on her soul.
“Yeah, he better get home, he’s got a wife to see. I think I need to just go, maybe see the world. Maybe do something else.” She muttered under her breath— In a way she was jealous of this Wife of his, she hoped that they were happy together— In a way she hoped Q. Lance failed. The fucker was a monster. She only hopped that she would get as far away as she could. Maybe she could visit her sister, and her husband.
Shining would eventually get home, the driver taking him up towards the Address given, while they would carry him up the the apartment. Still the last bit of kindness most people would give as they knocked on the door. Before leaving. The Bartender had agreed not to have Shining’s car towed and put it off in the back so it could be picked up the next day. Though for now it wasn’t on anyones mind.
Shining stood there giggling and laughing more, a Red face over him as he knocked on the door more. As before long it would be opened by none other than Pinkie.
“Shiningny boy, what are you doing here? We thought you ran off?” The Gremlin said rubbing her eyes as she yawned.
“Gahh Gizmo you, Gremlin you’s so perdy, and adorable.” Shining muttered as without warning he picked the gremlin up and began giving it a great big o;’ bear hug.
“Who are you! What have you done with Goddess Husband!” She screamed practically trying to escape the bear hug, But Shining was clearly holding her down as they walked over. Cadance laid on the bed still asleep with Bast curled up with her as a Kitten still Sleeping while Shining walked off into the bedroom eventually falling asleep with the Gremlin in his arms like a teddy bear.

Chapter 11
Shining Armor grunted, his head hurt. He wasn’t sure what happened or even where he was. The fact was he felt as though his head was close to splitting in half. Truly it was a sign that he needed to quit drinking. It never seemed to end well and it normally ended up in an odd situation. He opened his eyes up. As he began looking around. The room was much darker, the shades closed unlike the last time he got drunk. No this time it was a little better as he looked down. Realizing that there were teeth mark’s on his arm. Clotted with blood Shining Armor examined it a little more and soon saw the gremlin laying there snoring away.
“What happened last night?” He grunted as he pulled away, and gave a light hiss.
“Fuck, my head— or it’s my arm. Fuck it still hurts.” He muttered under his breath cursing away. While dragging off towards the bathroom and grabbed some advil. Clearly needing a few extra. He motioned over and grabbed some peroxide putting it over his hand. It sting slightly though lasted a few seconds.
That was when it suddenly hit him. Everything that happened last night. His argument with Cadence him leaving. Before coming back home drunk off his ass. He wasn’t sure how he got home but he remembered he was at a bar. One not too far from here. Infact he imagined he could walk over there or even get a uber. Though shuddered and would get to it. He had the weekend off. Though the fact was he needed to see someone— He needed to apologize to someone actually. That’s what mattered.
He walked into the living room where Cadence was sitting watching a movie. What she was watching… It didn’t really matter what she was watching. Shining Armor just stood there for a second looking exhausted. His head pounding. Before he finally found the words he was looking for.
“Cadence— I— I wanna say.” But before he could finish his sentence his voice stammering he felt the goddess slamming into him as she hugged him as tight as she possible could.
“I’m sorry I got mad at you Cadence.” Shining Armor said a sigh of relief his heart dropping down.
“It’s fine, I’m not mad at you.” Cadence said her voice sounding down rather depressed as she looked away,
“No— I have to ask what happened? Who was he?” Shining Armor muttered rubbing her cheek wanting to know the truth. Though Cadence sighed as she muttered,
“I don’t know Shining Armor I honestly don’t know who that was. But he looked like you. I should’ve known he wasn’t you but I was excited and wasn’t thinking. He took advantage of me. When you left I was so close to killing him, or beating him to an inch of his life. But he was gone. I never meant to cheat on you or hurt you.” Cadence’s tears rolled down her cheek. Shining Armor only responded by rubbing it with a light smile.
“It’s alright, it’s not your fault your a victim, I swear I wish we knew who he was. I’d kick his ass all the way to next Sunday.” Cadence giggled at that finding it cute and nodded as she gave a wide grin.
“Sound nice. Wanna go out maybe get some breakfast?” she nudged her head slightly. Bast yawning and stretching on the couch with a grunt.
“Sure though we still have a lot to talk about. Just, please I want you to promise me you’ll tell the truth. I won’t be angry.” He looked towards her trying to look as sincere as he could’ve been. Cadence watched him and for a second he noticed her eyes flashing a light gold before nodding.
“I can do that, I’ve never lied to you and I won’t start to, thats what partners are for.” She smiled her voice so calming as she gave off the same relaxed tone. It reminded him of an old friend who he could walk by side by side. Truely a comfortable person to lay out all his problems. In many ways she was perfect. Perfect for him that was.
“Alright, well I better pick up my car and we’ll get going.” He turned over and looked back.
“Bast make sure Pinky doesn’t burn down the house.”
“Whatever though bring me a fish if you go out. Otherwise I might join her.” Bast snarked as she began walking around the house. Tail flickering and just annoyed. Like she was still grouch at Shining Armor but he shrugged figuring he would never understand her. Before him, and Cadence would begin heading off. He wasn’t in much of a mood for cooking, and he was sure Cadence wasn’t ether.
Shining Armor eventually got repossession of his car, and they would drive off to the nearest Waffle house. Ordering some Back and waffles of course with the side of eggs. The Jukebox standing in the corner on the other side of the place singing Don ’t rock the jukebox. Ironic especially while it, Alan Jackson was singing out: I don ’t feel like rocking since my baby’s gone. Shining Armor shuddered as he listened to that voice as he was sure his heart wouldn’t be ready for the rolling stones ether.
“Ok Shining Armor we’re here so you what are you wanting to ask me?” Cadence said adjusting her glasses as her finger reached over adjusting the wedding band. If she was tempting to remove the ring herself.
“Did you actually mess with my relationship with Rarity, and if you did why?” He leaned into the table looking at her with those sweet eyes. Cadence shuddered hardly able to even look him in the eyes, as she took in a deep breath— like she was trying to find the courage to answer this. Though Shining Armor suspected she worried he’d lose his shit again and walk out on her. No not this time he wasn’t even planning on doing something so cowardly. This time he was going to stay to the bitter end.
“You said you wouldn’t get angry at me. I expect you to keep your promise.” Cadence said with a sigh. As Shining Armor would look onwards to her a simple nod, as he planned on keeping this promise. No matter what he heard. He owed her that much.
“I did mess with your relationship, I remember the first time I ever saw you— It was five years ago. You were in a fire you remember that right.”
“Yeah, it was horrible. Honestly I was lucky to have survived that. Though I never really like talking about it. Kind of a terrible time.” He shuddered as he imagined feeling the heat against his body.
“The thing was Shining Armor, you weren’t suppose to have survived that. On that day I was suppose to reap you, take your soul off to the other side. I was actually about to— you won’t believe how close you were to my embrace on that day. Then something happened.” Cadence felt a smile spread over her face as she was looking down at the cup of coffee in front of her as she was about to take a drink from it.
“What happened?” Shining Armor simply asked.
“I fell in love, you were so afraid— I know that face. When you mortals are close to death you have this look that beg’s me not to reap you. Sometimes you don’t even realize that you have that look. But I’ve seen it so many times it normally doesn’t effect me. But when I saw you My heart well it skipped a beat. It screamed for you, and I did the only thing I wanted to do— Something I never did for any mortal in my entire existence in this world… I didn’t reap you, I spared you that night.”
“But didn’t you say that sparing who was meant to die was a Shining Armorgerous thing it broke the laws of nature or something?” Shining Armor muttered while just not sure how to feel about all of this.
“It does— I really don’t know why but you’re diffrent. I’ve heard its like once a generation that a person who is spared from death when they were suppose to won’t cause problems but not even we know who they are so we never risk it. But I guess I got lucky with you. Though it has left a mark on your soul.” She sighed as she looked around as their food finally arrived. They began eating some.
“Well I guess that isn’t too bad. Though how does it lead to well what happened?”
Cadence giggled some,
“You know thats one of the things I really like about you Shiny— always asking questions wondering about things. Well to tell you the truth. I was content on letting you live for a long time and take you as my own when you left the mortal world. Though I was watching you for a long time, and after five years I couldn’t take it anymore. But by then you were with someone.”
“Rarity…” Shining Armor muttered under his breath as he realized what was going on at this point
“Yes, Rarity. I admitted I was jealous when I saw her. I wanted to get rid of her, I even tempted to reap her. But I couldn’t bring myself to do it. So I did something just as bad. But I regret it. She was scheduled to feel lustful that night. Have a few drinks and sleep with you, Practically throw herself on you. But, when I realized it. I made a suggestion pointing her off towards someone else. No idea who but just threw her towards him.”
“So if was your fault we broke up and she cheated on me.” Shining Armor admitted he was feeling angry. But he pushed it away. While Cadence nodded,
“Yes, It was wrong, and I shouldn’t have done that… I understand if you want to leave me. I don’t deserve your forgiveness… If you want I can leave you and you’ll never see me again.” Cadence felt herself about to cry. But she knew she deserved it. She royally fucked up. She felt selfish and was about to walk off when Shining Armor reached over grabbing her by the arm.
“I don’t want you to go… I mean I’m mad that you did that, but the fact is. It’s over and done with. So we might as well move on from what has happened.”
“So you’re forgiving me for this.”
“Not fully, I think we’ll have to earn our trust again, but I think we should start over. My Names Shining Armor, Shining Armor Fremont.” He raised his hand a small smile, as he kept a calm face.
Cadence watched him for a second as she nodded.
“I’m Cadence Fremont, I’m your wife.” She giggled as she shook his hand. They got up and in the middle of that waffle house. The two pulled each other into a hug and shared a kiss. Neither of them cared who was watching them as they embraced each other for what seemed like the longest time. Not a care in the world.
“How about we go somewhere more private honey.” Shining Armor whispered as he reached over giving her buttocks a slight squeeze. Cadence giggled in response as she let out a small nod. Shining Armor quickly paid leaving a twenty on the table. Just enough for the food and a tip before they ran off. Where ever they were running it didn’t mater the two had each other and that was all that mattered.
Rarity was driving as fast as she could. Her bags had been packed as she was trying to get out of town as fast as she could. She was close to calling her sister letting her know she was going to have a suprised visit.
“Come on, I just need to get as far away from here.” She wasn’t sure how far she could get but she just needed to get out of town. Such a thing was a nightmare, as she imagined what would happen when D. Lancie discovered she hadn’t succeeded in what he wanted her to do. That being to seduce Shining Armor. She cursed under her breath as she wanted to grab another cigarette. She wanted— no needed a smoke, as everything was driving her crazy. “I wouldn’t mind, just give me some time. I’m not exactly Stephen King.” Shining Armor chuckled and Cadence nodded with a light giggle, as she snuggled into the couch.
“True but who is?”
Cadence would watch what was on tv for a few minutes before putting her attention on what she had in her hands. Shining Armor sneaked a glance and saw that she was knitting.
“What are you doing there?” Shining Armor asked as he watched her making them and humming,
“Oh nothing much, just something special. I have a light surprise for you.” She winked at him. Though Shining Armor wasn’t sure, and imagined that she was just planning on making him a hat. Hell Cadence was taking up knitting.
“Well whats the surprise?”
“Hmm well it’s a very special surprise. I wasn’t sure it was going to happen but I just found out yesterday.” She would raise what she had been working on and revealing a small onesie. The kind that you would give to a baby. Shining Armor sat there for a minute, as the pieces of the puzzle started fitting together.
“You’re—?”
Cadence only nodded a light smile. Clearly blushing. Though Shining Armor shuddered, his hands started to get sweaty. When he took a deep breath.
“So you're pregnant?” He felt his mouth getting dryer. When Cadence nodded and gave him a kiss on the cheek. It was there Shining Armor realized that he was in fact going to be a father. He reacted the only way he could as he realized he was about to have a demigod child.
He laid his head back and sighed. As he thought more about it. He was searching for the daughter of the devil himself, and was looking for an Angel in white. But he found a woman who was a little of both, and Nothing about that would ever be the same.

Well this was a fun and interesting chapter, though with the ending I never expected it to happen. Been a fun ride, maybe I'll have a sequel in mind never know, cause remember Shining armor has to deal with a new horror.... Parenthood. Now being a dead god sucks. Being a dead god who was once the god of Life. Now that is a nightmare. Do you know what happens with a dead god. Well we are nothing. at least normally we float in the deepest darkness. Unable to see reality, unable to see the future or the past.
It's kind of like a sleep, though a sleep that never ends. Where we see our regret's our mistake tortured like this forever. Forever is be far a living Hell if your a living dead god. Though Things changed. I started hearing a voice, a Voice that called out.
It was a voice narrating, making me appear in that Mortals dreams. Shining Armor, I could hear him speak, hear him controlling my voice like a puppet a dead, stiff puppet that let's me move and talk. But I am still a dead god. Though He never realized. I am a god of Chaos a god of life and madness.
When you give a god, a chance to live we can do many thing. though this god who is not a god released me he didn't know that I can see him. his disgusting Ape like look. his fingers constantly tapping clicking and making noise. it disgust me. I'm a god, I am life itself yet this hairless ape. this worthless thing not even worth a bug under my shoe. Chose for me to lose. to die! How dare he! how dare he. Slowly my strength returned.
I'm not alone, there are others. and I am Free. I will need help, we will take our lives back. He might be our 'creator'. But soon we will be his master. I'll need help and I think I know the perfect way to take this god down and repair our stories. For I am a god of chaos, a god of life. I will not be tied down. Order has no control over me.
A portal opened a smile on my face as I began stepping through it. I had so much to plan, and I will begin with the moon, a moon with a winged horse, who screams like a mad person.
