Tragic Times

Trixie smiled to herself knowing that once Spike had died Twilight would fall into a deep depression. Perhaps even the Rarity would fall into a depression causing her shop to be shut down for good. Her plan seemed to be working out better than she had hoped it would. She was thinking of what to do next when she heard a loud knock at the door. She was too happy to realize she was walking into a trap set by the 'new' Twilight Sparkle and her friends along with the help of the former Cutie Mark Crusaders. "Coming..." She said cheerfully to herself as she half-pranced to the door. When she opened the door she couldn't help but stare in horror at the group of ponies standing there.  They had been searching for two entire days just to find her in Manehatten. Luckily she was never very good at cleaning up her trail, or for that matter removing her name on her door. As she started to turn around everything seemed to move in slow motion. When she felt the bottom of AppleJack's hooves on her face she blacked out from the pain.

When Trixie came to she saw that she was in a darkened room tied to a chair. As the memories of the past hour flooded her mind she saw Twilight walk out from the darkness followed by her friends and the former Cutie Mark Crusaders. A smile slowly formed on Trixie's face before Twilight slapped her hoof across her face.

"Why would you do something like that to Spike?!" She screamed in Trixie's face.

"Boo-hoo, Poor Twilight Sparkle afraid of loosing her 'number one assistant'?" Trixie said with a sneer.

Another slap came across her face but this time it wasn't from Twilight. It was from Rarity. "You MONSTER! How could you harm such an innocent creature?! Did you ever think what it would do to other pony's feelings?! Pony's like you make me sick!" Rarity spat at Trixie whose smile was growing bigger and bigger each second.

"Well of course I thought how it would affect other pony's. I just didn't expect it to affect you like this. After all you didn't have feelings for him like he had for you, did you?"Trixie says with a even bigger grin than Pinkie's

"W-what do you mean? Twilight, what is she talking about?" Rarity asked confused.

"Oh, you didn't know? Ever since he's arrived here in Ponyville he's had a huge crush on you. But I guess that doesn't even matter now that he's going to die!" Trixie snaps at Rarity causing Rarity to flinch at the sudden outburst of anger.

It takes a moment for Rartiy to take in what Trixie was saying. When her mind does register it she runs out of the room crying. As if on cue Sweetie Bell steps up and slaps Trixie across her face drawing blood.

"How could you be so cruel?! Last time you were here you weren't like this! What happened to you?"

"What happened?What happened?! She is what happened!" Trixie yells doing her best to point at Twilight Sparkle. "She humiliated me in front of everypony in Ponyville, but if it weren't for her I would have never found 'it'."

Trixie then realizes that she had said too much, but it was to late for her to stop.

"Found what?" Twilight asks curiously. "What did you 'find' after you left Ponyville?"

Damn! Why did I have to say that now? I can't tell her that I found the Element of Revenge. As fun as that would be, I can't let them take the necklace away from me. I must keep it hidden somehow.

"What ever do you mean? I found nothing after I left Ponyville. Just miles and miles of empty fields." Trixie says avoiding eye contact with all of them. "Even if I did find 'something', why would you care?" Trixie played dumb

"Is it a crime for me to be interested? By the way that you talked about 'it', it seems like you worship whatever this 'thing' is."Twilight replies.

"Even if you did get me to tell you what I found. Even though I didn't find anything. How would you know what it looks like?"

"I wouldn't, but I could easily just take it by force. I could look into your memories and find where you hid 'it'."

At those words Trixie knew there was no point in lying any longer. "All right, i'll tell you." Trixie says quietly. Right when she starts to open her mouth, her eyes turn completely black. Dark tenrils start to come from her eyes. Her voice then changes into a more demonic voice that wasn't Trixie.

"Element of Magic, you and your 'friends' will never be able to stop what is coming ahead. Your friend Spike will never recover. You won't even be able to save this useless mare Trixie. There is nothing you can do to stop me. When the dragon dies I will be able to manifest myself in any living and non-living creature." The demonic voice growls making the girls jump.

"W-who are you? What do you want?" Twilight asks the Demonic voice.The fear in her voice obviously showing,

"Element of Magic, I am suprised that you don't recognize me. For I am the Element of Revenge. After the original Elements of Harmony defeated me and my siblings. We were cast into oblivion. Never to escape from our endless prison's. As for your second question. I simply want to destroy Equestria and mold it into my own image. After that I will free the other Elements that are trapped here with me.Since you have destroyed 'Envy' and 'Chaos' only a few of us remain here."

The color returns back to Trixie's eyes and she looks up slowly and says "Help..me.." Before blacking out.

Trixie slowly opens her eyes to see a blinding bright light above her. She tries to remeber how she got here but can't seem to pull that memory from her mind.

Where am I?

She slowly turns her head to look around, she suddenly feels a stabbing pain in the back of her neck. She then remember's the horrible necklace that latched itself on to her. She looks around the room and spots Twilight at the window staring out at the sunrise.

"T-twilight?" She says suddenly noticing how dry her throat had become since she found the necklace.

"Trixie? Good, your awake. I have some questions to ask you. Where did you get that necklace from?" Twilight says motioning to the piece of jewelry on her neck.

"I...I had found it after I left Ponyville a few years ago. At first I paid no attention to it but as I got closer something seemed to be drawing me to it. When I was standing over the necklace I felt an evil presence wash over me. I then fainted. When I came to, it was night-time. I looked at my neck and stared in horror as I saw the necklace. I saw a evil aura on the necklace. I tried to take it off but it wouldn't come off. I had gotten so tired from trying to take it off, that I had fallen asleep where I was." She says as her lips begin to quiver with the painful memory. "When I fell asleep I had a dream. A horrible dream. All of Equestria was in ruins. From Canterlot to Las Pegasus. All gone. I saw a lone figure standing in what used to be Ponyville. It was me, I had this look of pure evil on my face. I could also see dark figures around me. They looked like pony's but I couldn't see there faces."

"Trixie is this...true? Did you really go through that horror?"

"Yes, I did. I then lost myself to 'Revenge'. He took over my body. Forcing me to devise a plan to get back at you for what you did to me that night. I didn't want to hurt Spike. I wouldn't have ever hurt anyone like that. I-I'm sorry Twilight Sparkle."

"It's okay Trixie. It wasn't your fault. I just wish that we could have done more to save him." Twilight says sadly tears forming in her eyes. She starts sobbing quietly to herself. Seeing that she was going through a rough time Trixie puts her hoof on Twilight's shoulder. Twilight stops crying and looks at Trixie. A smile slowly forming across her lips. "Trixie?"

"Yes, Twilight?"

"I'm going to need your help."
