Tragic Times

An hour after Twilight and Starshine had left the hospital. They had quickly found each of her friends. After Starshine had explained what had happened with her and Spike, how they were very good friends. Twilight then suggested they make a plan to lure the possesed body of Spike to them.

"We need to figure out a way to get him here. To come to us." Twilight said.

"How do you suppose we do that,Twi?" The cowpony asked.

"Easy, we need to find something he loves and set up a trap so we can capture him. It might not be easy, but it'll surely work. Now, only if we had something that he loved more than life itself." All the mares turned and looked at Starshine who just looked at them with a confused look on her face.

"What? Don't look at me. I don't know what he loves."She said still oblivious to the fact that they were implying that she was what he loved more than life.

"Oh, I see. But are you sure it will work Twilight? I mean this possesed Spike could already know our plan. He could be listening right now." She glanced around nervously.

"Y-You mean he c-could be here r-right n-now?" Fluttershy stuttered.

"Even if he was here I don't think that his 'conscious' would let him hurt us. Although, I am worried about what he will do to other pony's as well as small creatures."

Fluttershy suddenly lurched foward and yelled, "GET OUT HERE DRAGONBOY!!", Her friends barely had time to react to her response when they all heard a roar coming from the center of Ponyville. When they reached the center of town they saw him closing in on Dinky Doo and Ditzy Doo. They were both screaming in panic. None of them able to fly due to the amount of fear for their lives currentyl setting in.

"Stop it right there, scaly!!" Rainbow Dash screamed at the Teenage Dragon.

He turned around what the minor disturbence was. His eyes were still emitting tendrils of black smoke. His scales had noticably gotten darker. And the red flames shooting from his nose also suggested that his flames had changed. He started walking towards them. Ready to fight them to their death. All the mare's could do was stare in horror as he walked closer. Clearly getting ready to spew fire at them, Twilight,with the help of the other unicorns, protected them from the fury of red flames assaulting them. When he had finished, their forcefield had shattered into tiny bits.

"B-But that was an unbreakable forcefield. Shining Armour had taught it to me. And none of his fields ever break!" Twilight said the panic rising in her voice.

Twilight was lost in her own world for so long that the dragon had began to walk towards them again. But this time his target was her!

Rainbow Dash saw this as her chance to prove her strength to all of Equestria. She lunged at the steaming dragon with the force and mindset of a Sonic Rainboom. The though of her taking out the dragon with a Sonic Rainboom made her smile. Suddenly she heard her friends yelling at her. She couldn't hear them due to the speed she was traveling at. She turned to ask what they were saying when, "LOOK OUT!!", when Rainbow Dash turned around she saw a tail swing around and send her flying through the air unconscious. She hit the ground with a loud thud followed by a crack. They were sure she had broken something. It was Apple Jack's turn with the rampaging dragon. She just hoped she could stop this before more pony's got injured . Or worse.

When Twilight finally came back to reality she saw Rainbow Dash fly through the air and hit the ground. After that, Apple Jack had taken off towards the dragon who was growing more and more impatient by the second. Twilight had started to run after Apple Jack when Rarity stopped her.

"Let her handle this on her own. She knows what she is doing."

I hope she knows what she's doing. I just don't want any more of my friends to get hurt. Rarity thought to herself.

Twilight was about to reply when they all heard a bloodcurdling scream coming from the direction of Apple Jack. When they turned around they just stared in horror as they saw the cowpony on fire. They could tell she was in agonizing pain. It looked like her hoofs had been broken badly before she caught on fire. As Pinkie doused the fire with a bucket of confetti, that had come out of nowhere, the dragon turned to her with an evil glare in his eyes. The Pinkie that smiled and bounced was replaced by a scared for her life Pinkie. The remainig mare's all ran towards her as fast as they could. By the time they had gotten to Pinkie she had mysteriously disappeared. When they stopped in shock they all thought that Spike had swallowed her but when they looked at the dragon, he looked just as shocked as well. Then the pink mare simply appeared out of nowhere and started cowering away. It didn't seem like the normal Pinkie would be back for awhile.
