Twilight and Luna began talking to each other in the Canterlot castle.

“So I know this is a bit much to tell you but Starlight has been having recurring nightmares and I need you to help me with them.” Twilight said.

“I am aware Twilight who do you think wards them off?” Luna says with sarcasm.

“Wait you knew and didn’t tell me.” Twilight said angrily.

“My apologies Princess Twilight but she requested I stay silent and not tell you for she worries you will waste time with her so called ‘foolishness’.” Luna admits mournfully.

“Starlight is anything but foolish to me in fact I-“ Twilight is about to confess before Luna cuts her off.

“I am aware of thou’s crush on Starlight Glimmer I have seen your wet dreams Twilight Sparkle.” Luna says smirking a bit.

“Oh.” Twilight says blushing “But still what do the dreams mean?” Twilight asked in a scared tone.

“Perhaps it would be best if I showed you myself.” Luna said casting a spell.

Luna and Twilight were in one of Starlight’s old dreams.

“Where are we?” Twilight asked.

“We are in Starlight’s Glimmer’s most recent dream. It will allow me to show you her thoughts.” Luna clarified.

You blamed cutie marks and stripped a whole village of theirs

Relax if something goes wrong Starlight will just go back in time and fix it

and when Twilight and the others stopped you, you went back in time and almost destroyed Equestria

It’s like a super villain tracker

Says the pony who tried to make everypony the same by switching everypony’s cutie marks with equal signs

Right just like when cutie marks took your friend away your magic was strong enough to enslave an entire village

Yeah ever since Starlight messed with it to go back in time and tried to change history

How is the fact that Twilight decided to put an incompetent power hungry unicorn in charge of her school MY PROBLEM!

“These were all things her friends said.” Luna clarifies.

“I don’t understand, I know Starlight feels upset at the hecklers who won’t forgive her but I didn’t know it was this bad.” Twilight said shocked.

“Ah but it’s not just Starlight who it bothers, Discord and Trixie have their fair share of hecklers as you call them as well, it annoys them but what is really hurting Starlight is that she thinks her friends only think about her past and that they fear her.” Luna explains.

Luna then showed Twilight the manifestation of Starlight’s nightmares Moonlight.

“That is Moonlight the being that is tormenting Starlight, it is a manifestation of the darkness inside her, it is a Tantabus that has found it’s way inside her and while it is not as harmful as mine it is still damaging Starlight’s psyche.” Luna explains with remorse.

Twilight and Luna went back to the real world she now knew what she had to do but she would need a bit of help.
