Chapters A New Start: A romance story of a human and Fleur De Lis.
Author's Note
First ever chapter of my newest story.
Inspired by the Terminator franchise, but also RoboCop.
He has a T-H inspired skeleton model from the Terminator: Salvation movie, except it's just shaped like and looks like a normal human skeleton but it's metal. His Heads Up Display is based on the one Grace has in Terminator: Dark Fate.
It's also inspired by the 80's movies version of RoboCop, but also the 2014 movie, hence the idea of him being dead to everyone.
Rebirth: Chapter 1.
The hybrid, the failure. He called himself. He remembered what those scientists and governement agents who called themselves 'doctors' did to him, and the look of pure horror on his half completed face, the mechanical endoskeleton and mesh showing underneath his left eye, the portion of his left face incomplete.
His vision, now using a HUD analyzed the situation and knocked him out, shutting down his mechanical half and what possibly remained from his human body. He remembered the accident, he saved someone close to him at the cost of his body.
He awoke once again, his face now fully complete. It seemed his new eyes were synthetically grown and given a HUD to make him a machine. His hearing had become more sensitive along with his sense of touch, taste, smell and sight.
He winced in pain, his ears overloaded with auditory sensation and sound. His brain scrambling to control the waves of incoming sound.
He tried to get up and felt something blocking his body and limbs from moving. He looked to his side and noticed they had restrained him like some mental patient in a facility.
The human-machine hybrid clenched his fists tight, the anger and pain fueling him to move. He broke through the restraints, setting off the room's security alarms.
[WARNING! SECURITY ENGAGED!].
. Wait, security? Why was there security? Where was he?
"How?! I thought he died! How did he survive?!" Screeched a guard.
"I don't know man. Kill him!" Another yelled.
Kyle sighed, that was his name, right?
His new eyes focused on the guard's weapons, quickly analyzing what brand, model and weapon type they were.
[SUBDERMAL BODY ARMOR FLESH ACTIVATING!]
This new vision was really starting to bother him, he wanted it to leave him alone.
Kyle fired back at the guards, knocking them out before grabbing one of their shotguns and firing the shells into their bodies, killing them.
"What did these fuckers do to me?!" Kyle roared, his memory slowly coming back to him. The attack that took place, his apparent death, the surgeries they conducted on him.
What showed on his new display angered and mortified him. His organs, skin, and everything internal were placed inside a mechanical endoskeleton, a mechanical subdermal body armor mesh covering his internal skin, becoming a second skin making his outer layer of flesh a third protective layer.
He felt stronger. Stronger than he had been in a very long time.
[DIAGNOSTICS LOADING]
"I need to get out of here." Kyle spoke to himself. He grabbed a nearby hammer and dented the door, trying to open it.
He felt a cold and slimy feeling on his arms. Liquid metal covering his fists and shaping into sharp blades, opening the door. He threw it to the ground roughly. The object falling to the floor with a loud CLANG!
Kyle grabbed some nearby clothes and quickly got dressed, before using the fire alarm exit that would've been used in case of a fire in the building.
His eyes slowly took in the outside, it was night already. A clear view as the stars twinkled brightly in the night sky.
[DATE: JULY 2ND, 2024]
What he noticed on the HUD was that it not only showed a health bar, but also info on his weapons and ammo amount. Even his muscle strength and power level in his Invonium Power Supply Unit and endoskeleton underneath.
He began to look around for anyone who could help hide him and felt his body become lighter. Lightning crashed down with a mighty BOOM! , transporting him to an unknown location. Where he would meet his future lover.
[SYSTEM SHUTTING DOWN! CONSERVING POWER!]. Glowed in his vision.
He wasn't a machine all the way, he was human. He had skin, muscles and everything internal in a human body. What did they do to him?
Hi there, you may not know about who I am. So let me give you a basic rundown.
My name is Kyle Samson, I was born April 14th, 2016. I loved sport and had a select few friends.
I was more mature than most. I had a few friends who I loved like brothers and sisters, who were like family to me.
One day I was out with my group of friends, and we were attacked.
I tried to get them down to the ground so none of them would get hurt except me.
They rushed me to a nearby hospital where I was pronounced dead.
How am I alive, you ask? It's simple. I was revived by some fucked up form of science.
They took everything internal i.e bone marrow, organs and skin and draped it over a metal endoskeleton. They added a subdermal body armour that's flexible, but protects my inner skin and acts like my second skin making my outer flesh a third protective layer.
They replaced my damaged eyes as I had bad eyesight as a child. They grew two new eyes which now have mechanical nanobots inside of them, I have a Heads Up Display in my vision which can get quite annoying at times.
After I woke up the first time and saw my face. Oh dear god.
Half of it on both the top and bottom was incomplete and missing. Nerves, veins, arteries, blood vessels and muscles showing in the redness of my inner skin. I wanted to throw up. Somehow they detected I'd woken up and knocked me out once again.
I woke up a second time, but this time my face was complete.
I feel stronger now, stronger than I have felt in a very long time.
I could never get a girl, although it mostly would never bother me, deep down somewhere in me it did.
I felt I would be alone, but that was before I met her. The love of my life, my Fleur.
I had a good childhood, good friends, loving family, good school and education. Just an average kid really.
I couldn't go back to my friends and my family. They think I'm dead, so I have to live my life with them thinking I'm dead even though I'm alive.
This pain of having no more family or friends hurts oh so much. It's like a piece of you gets ripped away as if you're prey and life's a predator, waiting and planning to strike and kill you.
With everyone thinking I'm dead, I'm going to have to play it that way from now on.
I don't even know if I'm even me anymore. I don't have bones, I mean sure they drained out my bone marrow into the metal but still.
For me to even move they had to take my old body's joints, muscles and ligaments.
Dear god I'm disturbed by it.
I miss my friends, my family. I want that life back but at the same time I know I can't have it again. Because I'm dead.
I just hope someday I can see them again, and be with them. For however long I'll get to live for.

He awoke slowly, his joints clicking and whirring as he got up.
[SYSTEM ACTIVATING! LOADING!]
His eyes slowly began to open, the enhanced orbs slowly adjusting to the bright light that surrounded him. The skies back on Earth when he was alive and a complete human were never this bright and clear due to the carbon in the atmosphere. It reminded him of times back home when it would be sunny. He sighed as tears creeped into his eyes. He blinked them out of his eyes as he began to walk.
He zoomed in slightly to get a better look at where he was.
"Where am I?" Kyle asked himself in his mind. He took notice of structures that resembled village houses, as if it was something out of a western TV show or movie. He began to walk into the village, unaware of what would happen next.
He noticed what looked like colorful ponies in the village going about their day.
They began to notice him, as they began to stare at him in shock, uncertainty, fear and confusion.
The amount of fear and shock he felt caused him to let out a short scream as he tried to run off, but was stopped by a group of armor wearing guard ponies.
"Halt! You have been requested by Princess Celestia to talk to you. Please follow us." A guard informed him in a low and gruff voice.
He nodded silently, not wanting to piss them off.
Kyle began to quietly follow them, walking silently towards a gold colored carriage, as if it was something out of a fairytale or kid's movie. They made it to the castle as he stepped out of the carriage, looking up at the the building before him.
He stared up at the castle in awe. Never in his world had there ever been a castle on a mountainside.
Kyle began to follow the guards into the castle, deciding not to talk and rest his sore voice.
He and the group of pony guards stopped at two big golden doors, daring them to enter.
"After you sir." Spoke a guard gruffly.
"After you sir." Kyle requested quietly as he let the guards go through first, the group looking at him in surprise at how respectful he was to them.
He followed them into the throne room, his enhanced eyes recording everything he was hearing and seeing and downloading it straight to his brain.
"Your highness, as requested." A guard spoke softly to the two equine females in front of him. The white and blue mares looking down at him with confusion and excitement.
"Thank you dear guard." The alabaster mare spoke kindly in a soft and almost motherly voice.
The guard blushed and left the room, making kyle chuckle, a few of his teeth being exposed as he did so.
"Hello dear creature, my name is Princess Celestia, and this is my younger sister Luna. What is your name?" Celestia introduced gently, pointing a hoof to the smaller dark blue mare on his right in front of him.
"What are you?" Luna asked confused, but with a hint of excitement clear in her tone.
"My name is Kyle Samson, i'm a human, formerly that is. Just enhanced. I had everything internal meaning my organs, bone marrow, inner and outer skin transplanted onto a metal endoskeleton without my permission legally. Back home I'm declared dead." He finished sadly, looking down as he felt tears burn in his eyes. His fists clenching tightly as anger, sadness and guilt flooded him.
"How did you die?" Luna asked confused, Celestia glaring at her for asking him that.
"Luna!" Celestia scolded as she reprimanded her sister.
"Your highnesses, it's fine. I was attacked. I tried saving my friends but died in the process. I survived because some sick-minded scientists decided to illegally use my body for science." Kyle stated, his mechanical lenses zooming in to get a better look at her face, before zooming out and downloading the pictures straight to his brain.
"I'm so sorry for what they did to you, nopony deserves a fate like that no matter what they did." Celestia softly apologised, she couldn't imagine what pain he and his family had been forced to go through.
"Thank you Princess, but I can't go home because there's no way to go back. Plus, my friends and family think I'm dead. Due to what those scientist who called themselves 'doctors' I now live longer, up to about 500 years or more. I have to make them still think I'm dead otherwise it would be all over the local news, and I don't want to draw attention to myself or my family." He stated softly, feeling heartbreak at the choice he made.
Celestia gave him a sad smile and got off of her throne, she walked down to him and attempted to hug him, only to be gently pushed away as his body made him jump back, his protective reflexes activating.
He mentally turned off his reflexes and walked forwards towards them, a blush on his cheeks as he rubbed the back of his head in shame and guilt.
"Sorry about that, instincts and reflexes you know." Kyle sheepishly stated, looking away bashfully.
Celestia and Luna chuckled softly, smiling down at the human-mech hybrid.
"It's fine, I'd like for you to live down in ponyville near my faithfull student Twilight Sparkle, I'll help get you set up and help you find a job. After all, it's the least we can do for you after what you've been forced to go through." Celestia offered kindly.
"Thank you very much your highness, but are you sure? I don't want to cause a panic for your people and scare the kids and whatnot." Kyle stated worriedly. Thinking about the what if's and what could happen. Hundreds of scenarios running through his mind.
Celestia chuckled, Luna joining in.
"Do not worry Kyle, you will not cause a panic. I'll come down with you so that everypony understands you're new here, and it's your new home now." Celestia informed him, smiling softly
"Thank you, your highness. You're such a sweet, gentle, kind and caring princess and pony." Kyle softly told the alabaster mare, earning a small blush from her.
"You're welcome, let us get going then." Celestia informed, the duo heading out of the throne room and towards the chariot waiting for them.
The two beings were flown down to Ponyville, the chariot coming to a halt with a screech.
Celestia exited the personal carriage first, Kyle following after nervously.
"Greetings, my loyal subjects. This is Kyle, a human who's going to be living here in Ponyville from now on." Celestia introduced with a hoof. He gave a short wave with a hand nervously.
The crowd of ponies looked him up and down, some in confusion and awe, others in disgust, which he guessed must have been nobles.
Celestia and Kyle walked through the small community village, earning more looks from more ponies. Looks of disgust and confusion from ponies who managed to get a good look at him.
The two stopped at a light brown two-story house, the home he would be living in from now on.
"I must get going now Kyle, but before I go, here's the key to your new home." Celestia handed him the object and began to walk back to the chariot. She turned around and gave him a soft smile, climbing into the vehicle as she was taken back to the castle.
He flashed her a small smile as she left and put the key in the lock, allowing himself access to the inside of the building.
As he walked in he turned on the dim lights gently. The cozy building reminding him of home. He missed them, his old life. But he could never have it back, all because of the mysterious person who shot him and took his life, his family and friends along with his dreams and goals. All of that stripped from him in mere seconds.
He quietly walked upstairs into his new room and decided to sleep the whole day, as he didn't want to do anything more right now.
[SYSTEMS DEACTIVATING! SHUTTING DOWN! CONSERVING POWER!]
His vision faded to darkness as he let sleep overtake him. A small smile on his lips.

The Day They Met: Chapter 3.
This was the day, a special one in which Kyle would meet her, his other half, his heart and soul. His one true lover.
He sighed, already remembering home. His friends and his family. He wished he could have that back, but he couldn't. The pain was always there. He was just fighting it, hiding it from the others. He couldn't let anyone into his mind or life.
He decided to go for a short walk to clear his mind. Something he used to do back home.
As he walked through the little village, he noticed one of the mares that stood out to him. She had an alabaster white coat, a pale pink mane, light purple eyes and a cutie mark shaped like a triple Fleur De Lis.
They locked eyes, and neither looked away. They looked deep into each other's minds and souls, who they were, what they were, everything about each other exposed to the two. Memories, dreams and goals were shared between the two.
He saw into her mind, everything she was, and wanted to be, every memory she had was flowing through his mind like a fish in a river. In turn she could hear and see everything that he was, every memory, dream and goal were shown to her. Everything about him absorbed by her mind. She saw his most recent and painful memory, his death and revival.
Once he realized what had just happened, he felt pure, unadulterated anger flow through him. This mare had just seen into his mind, every memory, dream and goal exposed to her.
Kyle let out a growl and sharply looked away, his heart desired to feel a sense of love, and she had sparked it. He began to walk off back to his home, shocked, angered and disgusted by what he allowed to happen to him. It made him feel vulnerable and weak.
"Wait, mon amour!" Fleur cried out, calling for him to look at her, and come back to her, she felt bad for him, he had suffered so much, lost so much. He had his entire life taken away, every dream and goal he had would never get to be accomplished. Her bondmate needed her, just as much as she needed him.
Kyle stopped in his tracks, before continuing on his way. Ignoring her desperate pleas for him to return to her. He couldn't do it. The pain in his heart, mind and soul was too strong.
Fleur watched him leave as tears pooled in her eyes, before trickling down her cheek. A good friend whom she considered a brother, Fancy pants helped her home. The pain in her heart filling her.
Kyle opened the door and closed it as he entered his home. He climbed up the stairs and into his room. The cyan walls reminding him of his old room back home. He sighed and laid on the bed, remembering what had just happened to him.
A few hours had passed, and Kyle had been resting his eyes. As he woke he began to hear a soothing melody, not one, but many voices overlapping the other as it was sung. Something within him tugged at the back of his mind, telling him to follow the melody and locate where it was coming from.
He walked over to his window, where the melody was coming from. He looked down, noticing Fleur again. It was her who was singing such a sweet and harmonious tune. Her voice was soft, gentle and loving. Soothing to his ears and his mind.
She began to float up towards the window, a soft hue of pink forming around her as she slowly made her way to him. She stopped at it and laid a hoof on it, looking into his eyes and very soul.
He wanted her, no, he needed her. To feel like he was wanted, and that he mattered. Overwhelmed with emotion, he opened the window and let her gently fall on his chest.
He looked up at her, tears burning in his eyes, she laid a hood on his shoulder and gave him a sad smile.
"I feel your pain, mon amour. The pain of being alone, forced by what others have done to you. The ability to never return home. How it brings you down every day." Fleur consolingly whispered, running a hoof over his cheek.
Kyle climbed onto the bed, Fleur following. She laid her head over his chest as he held her, tears burning within them only to be blinked away as he held onto her.
"Only in your mind, hear me with my image in your mind and I will hear you." Fleur cooed softly. Her eyes half-lidded lovingly. She soothingly rubbed his cheek as she looked up to him. Her purple eyes softly gazing into his own.
Their lips connected. Only moans and groans of pleasure were heard between the two. Words were not needed nor wanted as they claimed each other forever.
The two experienced a night of pure passion and love. A soft carress, nuzzle or kiss. An affectionate word here and there to be heard.
"I love you, mon amour." Fleur whispered lovingly, her accented voice making him smile as she slowly fell asleep content in his arms. Feeling secured and safe within them.
"I love you too, Fleur. Even though I've known you for five minutes, it's like I've known you my entire life. I promise I will always protect you, no matter what." Kyle whispered softly, planting a soft kiss on her forehead as he joined her in sleep.

Shopping And Pillow Talk: Chapter 4.
I awoke to Fleur, my one and only laying upon my chest.
The sensation of love was something i had not felt in a very long time.
"Wake up, mon amour." She whispered, her soft and beautiful voice filling my ears. A voice full of adoration and care. It was so gentle and soothing that it made me want to reach out for her, to hold her against me.
Her soft and warm fur against my skin, an exotic and pleasurable feeling that I just could not summarise.
I couldn't help but sigh in utter pleasure. No girl back home had ever taken any interest in me. Just because I was more intelligent instead of being physically stronger I wasn't seen as someone worth dating. But now I had Fleur, that pain had left me. Seemingly overnight.
Still, what those scientists did to me...I'm still haunted by what happened. I fear I'll hurt Fleur, the idea of it happening petrifies me. I'm scared to be me.
Am I human? A machine? A hybrid? Perhaps I'll never know.
Fleur noticed my downcast look, and pulled my face towards her own with a hoof. She smiled at me softly, easing my anguish to a degree.
"What bothers your mind, my love?" She asked me softly, running a hoof up and down my arm.
"It's nothing, Fleur. Just a bad memory. Something that happened to me as of recent. You saw what it was when we locked eyes." I answered sadly, my voice quivering slightly.
"I know, mon amour. I'm so sorry for what's been done to you." Fleur consoled.
It wasn't her fault, she had nothing to apologize for. If anything, I should've apologized to her for trying to hide from her and ignore her. That was such a dick move on my part
"You have nothing to apologize for Fleur. If anything, I should be sorry for trying to ignore you and hide from you, I mean." I replied sadly, ashamed of my actions towards her.
"It is alright, my love." She whispered sweetly. Her soft, accented voice a soothing melody to my mind.
I sighed contentedly, I could feel her heartbeat within my mind, we were becoming one. Our minds opening to each other all the way, enabling telepathic communication at will.
Words were not needed for such actions. Only touch and magic were needed to stimulate such feelings.
An hour passed by, the two had spent the time cuddling together in their bedroom.
"Mon amour, would you like to come shopping with me?" Fleur asked softly, her voice gentle and soothing. Her accent bringing more emotion into every word.
"Of course, just give me a second to get ready." He lovingly replied, stroking her mane causing her to let out a light playful moan.
"Where are you going, my love?" Fleur asked confusedly. Noticing a smirk starting to appear on his lips.
He turned around to face her, his sunglasses covering his eyes. A black leather jacket covering a jet black shirt over his upper torso. Black jeans covering his legs. Copying the style of the Terminator from the second movie.
"I'll be back."He stated emotionlessly, before bursting into laughter.
"What's so funny?" She asked, even more confused than before.
"It's something from back home, from an actor I once met. His name was Arnold Schwarzenegger, from a country called Austria. He was a bodybuilder and actor. He had a beloved character he played called The Terminator, otherwise known as CyberDyne Systems model 101, also known as Uncle Bob, Pops or Carl." Kyle stated, remembering the old Terminator movies he watched.
The two exited their home as they began to walk down to the market.
He began to notice that other mares and stallions gazed at him. the mares would glimpse at him in confusion and shock whereas the stallions gave him looks of jealousy and hatred, because he was with Fleur. He glared back at them, his eyes and Heads Up Display slowly turning from their normal blue to a dark red. The inner Terminator coming out.
Kyle noticed and quickly took back physical and mental control of his body. His eyes slowly flickering back to blue.
As his eyes reverted back to their normal colour, he noticed that Fleur had seen what he really was. Out of fear he backed away and thought to run off. He deemed the idea hopeless because he and Fleur had bonded. They could hear and see each other's thoughts. Meaning she knew exactly what just happened.
"Fleur... I-I'm so sorry. I didn't mean for that to happen. I don't know why it took over but it did." He stated sadly, looking away in shame.
"It is alright my love, you were protecting me." Fleur consolingly whispered, running a hoof over his cheek and gazing into his eyes. She could see the fear and worry within his eyes and very soul.
He smiled and caressed her cheek with his palm, feeling her soft fur within his hand.
The two began to walk back towards their home, after such a stressful day it was time to relax comfortably together.
The duo entered the building and laid together for hours before falling asleep.

He's ours to do whatever we want to do to his body
Alright, let's prep him for the conversion transplant surgery
Once we complete the process, burn all the documents, leave nothing behind
No one can know what was done here
If anyone finds out, the company would be screwed
I can't believe that we actually managed to get him, get someone to pay the hitman for us.
Kill his family, relatives and his friends, burn the evidence and hide him after the surgery. Make it look like he never existed
Kyle began to shake with fury, his fists tightly clenched. He wanted to find those other scientists and the head of the company, and kill them. Then, he would hunt down the hitman who killed him and murder him. Afterwards, he'd avenge his family, his relatives and his friends.
So they had murdered him for experimentation? That's all he was to them? A labrat? Something to play with until it could no longer be fixed? Those facts disgusted him. He could feel the liquid metal and nanotech shape into plasma rifles over his hands.
He awoke with a sharp jolt, sweating profusely. That was no nighmare, that was a memory they tried to remove and delete from him. They wanted him to be like RoboCop. a man inside a machine.
Mon amour, are you alright? Fleur asked him within his mind, her tone filled with worry as she ran a loving hoof down his cheek. Caressing it to soothe him.
I found out exactly what they did to me. I was nothing more to them than a labrat, an experiment. He replied angrily, his fists shaking with rage. They had taken his life away from him, they had killed everyone he cared about to save themselves.
I'm so sorry my love, I will not let anypony hurt you. Ever. Fleur lovingly promised, kissing and nuzzling him as he began to smile softly. She always knew how to cheer him up when he had a nightmare or was upset.
Eventually, Kyle fell back to sleep, Fleur laying on top of him. Her head laying over his chest as he ran his fingers slowly through her mane.
One day, he'd find a way back home, kill the scientists who took his life and then avenge everyone he cared about.

Childbirth: Chapter 7.
Kyle stood by Fleur, his lover and now wife.
Months ago, they had gotten married. A small wedding composed of Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, Princess Twilight, Princess Cadance, Fancy Pants and a few other friends, such as Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie and Applejack.
Fleur had also gotten pregnant with his foal somehow.
He couldn't believe he was going to be a dad, he'd always dreamed of one day settling down and having kids. He never expected it to happen like this.
He'd recently learned that a siren and pony's pregnancy was a few months shorter than that of a human's own.
A few months later
Kyle sat patiently in the hospital's waiting room, waiting for when he'd be allowed inside to see his wife and his child. Foal for that matter.
Eventually a doctor opened the door and allowed him inside. Slowly walking towards the alabaster siren as quietly as he could so he wouldnt't disturb their child.
"Hey sweetie. How are you holding up?" He asked softly, gently squeezing a hoof and gently running his palm down it to help relax Fleur.
She giggled musically and held out their foal, a female. His little filly. His daughter.
Kyle felt a surge of fatherly love and pride fill him as he tiptoed over to the sleeping foal ever so gently and carefully cradled her in his arms, lovingly rocking her. The filly looked so much like her mother, she had the same mane and fur colour just like her mother. A complete doppleganger of Fleur. She could easily pass as her mother by her looks.
He smiled and softly kissed her forehead. carefull of her horn. This was his little filly, his baby girl who he would protect with his life.
"She's beautiful, Fleur. Just like you. She looks so much like you." He whispered happily, tears of joy burning in his eyes as he ruffled the little filly's mane.
"What shall we name her, mon amour?" Fleur whispered jovially cradling the filly protectively in her hooves.
"How about Clara? Named after someone back on my world." He stated, referencing the character of an old British Sci-Fi TV show .
"I love that name, my love." Fleur crooned, cradling Clara in her hooves.
The two were eventually allowed to go home as Kyle and Fleur tucked Clara into her crib, kissing her goodnight.
"Sleep tight, my little impossible filly." Kyle whispered lovingly, smiling with fatherly joy.
