Seemingly no Changes

"You will never rule in Equestria, any power you may have had in this world is gone. Tonight, you've shown everyone who you really are. You've shown them what is in your heart."

That's the first thing Sunset heard after being shoved into the ground by a rainbow laser.

"The magic of friendship doesn't just exist in Equestria, it's everywhere. You can seek it out, or you can forever be alone. The choice is yours."

That was the second thing she heard. However, instead of coming out remorseful like she would have, she was filled with even more anger than before. Twilight offered a hand to Sunset. But Sunset did not take her hand. Instead she crawled out from the other side. The hate bubbling in her blood.

"Oh listen to this folks, the little princess here is trying to be nice to me when I don't deserve it." Sunset shouted, "You want your crown princess? Go ahead and take it." She threw the crown at Twilight. "And guess what? I HATE you Twilight Sparkle. And every single one of you as well. I don't need this stupid school and I sure as hell don't need any of you, throwing this shit back in my face."

She walked into the building only to be stopped by Twilight's friends.

"Get out of my way." Sunset demanded. But the group didn't budge so she walked the other way only to be blocked off by Twilight, Celestia and Luna, as well as the rest of the school forming a circle around her.

"Alright." Sunset shouted, "What do you want?"

"I want to be your friend, Sunset." Twilight said.

"Good Luck with that." Sunset said, jumping back into the crater and getting bruised up.

One hour later, Sunset was repairing the wall that she manhandled with the beams of magic that were controlling her. With her were the dips that sucked up to her. You may know them as Snips and Snails.

"I can't believe you got us sucked into this." Said Snips to Sunset.

"ME?" Sunset asked, "You're the ones that came to me when I started here and said you would do anything I asked."

"I can't defend us anymore." Snips said.

"By the way, you're both fired." yelled Sunset, "Now, I don't want to see you two again after tonight."

Later after Snips and Snails headed home and were suspended for three days, Sunset was called into the Principals office.

"What you have done tonight shan't go unpunished." Said Vice Principal Luna, "We've talked it over and decided what we will do."

"Sunset, you stand accused of stealing a crown and destroying the front of the building and almost killing six students." Principal Celestia said, "You are suspended for three weeks."

"NOW GO!" Yelled Celestia and Luna blowing Sunset right out of the office and slamming into the lockers. She hit her head right on a locker.

Ignoring the concussion she was sure she had, she then walked a long painful distance back to her homeless shelter. Once arrived, she checked in, did her nightly checklist changed and got into the bed they had for her. She cried in bed until she was asleep.
