Hey guys, this is a test chapter. I put in the main concept and would like to hear your opinion. I’ll then think about continuing it or not

Equestria, A nation known for Harmony and friendship. A beacon of hope, prosperity and freedom to the outside world. Over 1000 years of peace, a true golden age.
Soon to come to an end.
Equestria has made many enemies, both from the past and present. Shattering their beacon of hope to the outside world and leaving them vulnerable for vultures.
At the start, Nightmare Moon kidnapped Princess Celestia, leaving the world still for one night. It took several meetings with negotiations from other countries to understand the full length of the story.
Other than that, everything started going back to normal. Some would even say a new age had started with Princess Luna now in the mix. What they didn’t realize is that this was only in the beginning.
Next came discord, he was quite the handsome devil, if I do say so myself. He brought Chaos to Canterlot, the main jewel of Equestria! And some small town beside it.
The only damage he severely caused, was a prank messaging to other nations which caused another hundred problems for the dual sisters.
It was another unexpected hit to Equestria but they slowly recovered from it. They even had a royal wedding. Such incidences are quite rare in Equestria, the last one having been over 1000 years ago.
Unfortunately the wedding turned out to be a huge disaster, for both the short run and the long run.
Chrysalis attacked with an army of changelings at her side. Disguising herself as Cadence, the princess of love. The army of changelings showed the huge military weakness of Equestria, but in the end they too were defeated.
Unfortunately even though the changelings were defeated in combat, with the power of love. The newly formed Griffin Empire has shown the first signs of aggression that hasn’t been seen since the last pony-Griffin war. What’s worse is that their allies are not coming to their Defence.
Days later the Crystal Empire reappeared after 1000 years. Along with it, King Sombra the tyrant ruler. Eventually he was defeated and the Crystal Empire was under the hoof of princess cadence.
Immediately other nations began to protest. Too many of their allies believed this was an act to increased Equestrians power. Not to mention the thousand year difference for the border disputes. Several kingdoms began to protest about the border line for the Crystal Empire, and a lot of negotiations had to be made.
Still Equestria Survives.
That brings us to today upon the full moon. Equestria is waiting for its next big disaster, and some pony’s begin to make bets.
Unfortunately for them, they would've never guessed what it could’ve been.

My eyes shot open. I spring to my feet looking for the sound of the voice. It was dark around me and I couldn’t see much. I took a step- “Shi-“ was all I could get out before my foot slipped over the edge.
My arm thankfully cushioned my fall but I still had the air knocked completely out of me. I decided to stay there and relax slowly getting my bearings. I expected to hear a voice... but there was nothing.
So I laid there for what seemed like minutes… maybe an hour… I don’t know…

‘I don’t know much of anything… not even my name… I know I’m a male adult human… but I don’t think there’s much else…’
I begin to worry slowly. I made my way up and tried again to look around. Slowly my eyes adjusted to the dark and I realized what I fell off of. It was a pedestal, and there were several stone pieces laying about. There was writing on the pedestal... but I couldn’t make it out, it was a strange language… I didn’t know if that was because I didn’t know the language or if I was illiterate… perhaps a bit of both.
I began to stretch out my body which felt so sore. While I did that I tried to get a good look at myself, but there wasn’t much to see. I wore a black T-shirt with black pants and shoes. I didn’t know the material they were made of, besides the fact that some of the stone dust was still on them. I gave myself a quick wipe before looking around the area.
The more I looked around the more amazed I was. I seem to be in a garden of some sort. With a huge building off to the side. There were several similar pillars that had several different creatures on them. It puzzled me that mine didn’t have any… unless… no, that’s ridiculous… Right?
I really didn’t like my own question. I decided that maybe it was best if I leave.
I slowly walked around, trying to find my way out. And with a little bit of luck I saw in front of me a gate. I quickly made my way to it but to my horror it was locked. I looked at the wall that was keeping me in here and it seem to be a bunch of plants Attached to a wooden fence
I walked over to the wall and tested out the plants. They seemed pretty durable and strong, so I began to use them to climb.
I hopped over to the other side, nearly falling on my ass while doing so. I quickly looked around and I believed I seemed to be in some sort of city. It’s designs were nothing I could really recognize or remember. They kind of looked old yet new at the exact same time.
I stood there for a little bit taking in the view not really paying attention. Eventually I noticed one of the glasses on the building and I could see a bit of my reflection. As I moved closer, I noticed two glowing yellow eyes. I don’t remember my eyes being yellow...
*clink* *clink*
I heard sounds coming to my right. I had no idea Who or What I was going to face. I definitely did not expect what I saw.
The first thing I noticed was the golden armour and weapons such as spears and sword. But when I looked at the heads of them they weren’t human at all… instead it looks to be a mix between a human and a horse.
Three heavily armoured horse-people stood in front of me, and I think they were a few in the back. They all look pretty similar with a white coat and blue mane. As I slowly looked down I noticed they didn’t have feet like me, but instead hooves.
“GET HIM” said the middle one bringing my attention to him. Only now did I notice that he had one different thing. A glowing blue horn.
I felt my own body react Instantly. My body twisted my shoulders, turning me around, spinning me out of the projectile blue beam.
I was nearly thrown to the side while spinning, an action I’m sure I didn’t make myself. Slowly I got back my footing and looked at the group. Only to see the two beside the middle one charge at me with sharp spears. And if it wasn’t enough, two I didn’t see in the back, jumped up and extended fucking wings. Then they flew at me with swords.
“RUN!”
I heard the voice again, and I didn’t need to be told twice. I booked it down a random street not caring where I was going to go as long as I was away from them.
Began the chase. I quickly ran down the street looking for anything that could help me. Slowly I could hear the sounds of them gaining on me, as I could feel the heartbeat in my chest. I noticed what looked to be a wooden stall of some sort that had an umbrella on top of it. It was coming directly in my running path and I saw no other options.
As I can almost hear them down my neck. I reached for my target. My hand extended outward, grabbing the wooden stick of the umbrella, and swung it down behind me. Bringing the entire stall down with it. I had to quickly move out of the way, but I think my endeavours worked as I didn’t hear them running at me anymore, but the wings pursued.
I continue to run hearing orders behind me, beginning the Chase again, and ending my short victory.
I noticed an alleyway to the left of me and I decided to take it. Slowly I ran over to it before ducking inside. I hugged myself against the wall as tight as I could, and with luck, they flew right over me and the corner of the building. Trying to cut me off.
I quickly booked it the opposite way back onto the main street where I noticed the middle horn one again. He had his two regular friends with him as they noticed me juke the flying ones.
“Flyers, he's back over here!” he called out. Before I could say anything he blasted several more beams at me.
I continued to run dodging his attacks and ran into an alleyway on the right side and kept going.
I continued to run down the long alleyway and hesitantly I looked back. To my relief it only seemed to be the horned one chasing me. I didn’t really understand as the other ones were faster than him, but I will shut up with my thoughts as he shot more beams at me.
Eventually I made my way out of the alleyway only to notice a horrifying revelation. As I made it to the end of the alleyway I noticed a cement fence wall. It only seemed to go up to my waist, I thought I could just hop down easily, to the next level but when I looked down… I noticed the city was built on a mountain, and I was looking very far down.
Somewhere to the right there was a waterfall that was going down the city all the way below and made a little river. I looked over to the left and to my shock I noticed more mountains and even a pathway. I think if I kept going down the street I would’ve made it to the pathway.
Unfortunately for me my view was blocked when the Wings came. They swooped in blocking my view of the mountains in the pathway leading me to freedom. I heard the sounds of running behind me, as I turned around I noticed the regular ones flanked me on my right. finally the horn one came out of the alleyway completely surrounding me.
I felt my back pressed up against the edge, I felt something in my throat. They slowly made their way closer.
“Give up Discord! You cannot win!” The horned one shouted at me.
I looked at them confused, I don’t think am this discord. And I certainly wouldn’t do anything wrong... would I? “I’m sorry I don’t-“ suddenly all of them laughed.
“A talking human that’s rich!” I looked around for the voice but I didn’t see who said it
Again the horned one looked at me seriously. “Disguising yourself as a talking human isn’t the best course of action, Discord.”
I looked at them again confused as to what they were saying, but I knew I had to make a decision.
I noticed the horned one ready his sword and a blue glow emanating around it and his horn. I had a feeling it was all or nothing now. He came at me swinging. Ready to decapitate me.
Again I felt my body move on its own. I felt myself lean back over the edge! I kept it going, launching my feet up. To my surprise my legs caught his arm. My hands gripped the cement fence as I flung him over me and off of the edge.
I felt my feet hit the wall as my right arm extended and caught The horned one’s sword. I noticed one of the wing ones leaping off of the edge and going after his fallen comrade.
Before they had a chance to react, I boosted myself back over the wall. Just in time to clash with a sword. The other winged one launched himself towards me ready to strike me down after his leader.
Unfortunately for him I gained a boost of strength, as our blades clashed off of each other, I gave him a kick to his gut that sent him flying into one of the buildings. His back gave an unpleasant crunch as he slammed into the building, leading cracks behind.
Unfortunately for me I forgot about the two regular ones, and instantly felt a spear being stabbed into my back. Before I could register what happened, I felt another punch to the back of my head, launching me off of the spear and down further the pathway of the edge.
My body flipped and twisted in ways it wasn’t supposed to. Finally I crashed to the ground.
The pain was immeasurable and I’m pretty sure I’m scraped in multiple places. Not to mention the spear that entered my lower back.
Slowly I got up, little by little as the pain slowly went away. I could hear them coming down the pathway.
“Did we really hit Discord.” I heard one of them say.
At this point I was pissed. I didn’t even get a chance to explain myself or understand what’s going on. But I was going to make them “Pay!”
Instantly I turned around and swung my sword like an ark. To my surprise something happened. I seemed to make another blade out of the air as it rushed towards them. One managed to duck in time but the other was swiftly cut in half from the chest.
Before I could realize what I did... I extended my blade to the one that was alive… he rushed towards me from a force other than his own... Being caught off balance, he had no time to react to the sword being plunged into his heart…
Slowly my anger faded…. I was breathing heavily, his lifeless eyes still staring into me with shock… slowly he slid off the blade and as I realized what I’ve done…
I killed these two… they’re dead…
I felt my hand let go of the sword. It clung to the ground, but for some reason that wasn’t what I was focussed on. I felt a presence near me, stronger than I could ever imagine. I looked to my right and I noticed another alleyway with only one occupant. It had to be one of the tallest horse-people things he had seen. It was white like all the rest, yet there was something different. For example, I think she was female. Ingesting to the assets on her chest I could safely agree.
Unfortunately her face is what frightens me. She wasn’t looking at me, but rather the body that was laying on the ground. She didn’t have a look of anger, only sadness. Until she turned to me.
I could see the fury and tears in her eyes, as I saw her horn glowing gold and her wings extend. I didn’t have time to register what happened next. I only saw a flashing light before being knocked unconscious.

I am Princess Celestia, Ruler of the Sun.
And I am more terrified than I have ever been. I have lived for a long time. I have built this nation from the ground up. And now I can lose it all. At first I didn’t mind, but the past kept coming back. One disaster happens after another, with barely any time to have a break. It would be find if the Griffith empire with layoff a bit. Unfortunately every day I see the coming storm of war. And no matter how many times I strike my enemies down, or get another to do it for me… they always seem to come back.
I was ready to go to bed, having been kept up with the nobles for selfish reasons. They wouldn’t stop bothering me and complaining. Thankfully they got the hint, and moved on.
But now...
(Kaboom!!!)
I have to deal with a new ‘friend‘...
It sounded like it came from the garden. I quickly teleported over.
As I came out of the teleportation I noticed that I was in the middle of ‘statue’ sector. I prayed that it wasn’t discord, and hoped it was one of the smaller easier creatures in the garden. It took her a little bit searching through the hundreds of monsters but eventually she found the one she was looking for.
It was dark but she could still see it from a distance and it got up slowly… then collapsed to the ground… I blinked, wondering what creature it was and I tried to recall one being a klutz.
I slowly made my way over but the creature got up and I noticed it was a human. It’s completely complex me as it looked around curiously. I Never fought a powerful human monster before.
My mind wandered off to those creatures and how wild they could be. But they weren’t any threat that she would consider putting them into stone. She continued to think and ponder what she could’ve captured that looked like a human. But before she knew it the creature vanished without her noticing.
“Wow... maybe I am getting a little bit rusty… I think I need to go to the gym…” I said displeased.
The creature really put me at odds but I realized I could’ve just looked at the pedestal. Although I felt something odd clump in my throat. As I made my way to the pedestal I realized it was in a very similar position to….
(Discord)
Immediately I sprung into action first casting a spell to try to locate discord and A spell letting every single one of my royal guards know about the disguised human.
I talked everything into high gear making sure that Canterlot was going back under lockdown.
I quickly got to the vault to grab One Best equipment. A Sun Orb that allows me to use my abilities even without the Sun. Inside a magic crystal ball lays a small sun.
I wouldn’t sit back this time.
After teleporting back to the garden I spread my wings and took off following the orders of my guards about the location of Discord.
The last thing I heard was that a squad had pinned him down and they needed reinforcements.
As I flew over to the edge of the city I noticed him through an alleyway and smirked. ‘This time I won’t stand on the sidelines.’ I thought to myself as I landed in the alleyway, As I looked up I noticed a horrifying sight.
A single Royal guard was impaled by discord with a royal guard sword. I don’t remember what happened much afterwards but I do remember feeling my Sun’s rage. My horn was engulfed in a golden light as I launched it at discord. The pathway was scorched along the ground and wall... and hopefully him along with it…

The night was still not over. Honestly it has only begun. Following the waterfall down to the river, from Canterlot all the way down to ponyville and the Everfree forest. But somewhere in between the story begins.
A hand pulled itself from the river, to grasp the land. Then came a second hand until it hoisted itself out of the river revealing itself to be the human.
The human laid there unmoving. Resting from the cold shock of the water and the burning cessation of the sun. His clothes had been torn and are almost unusable.
He laid there, breathing slowly in and out.
Then came the laughter. The human let out a small chuckle which turned into an insane laughter. he said as he opened his eyes. No longer were they the yellow irises that looked around curiously. Instead they were a dark brown, mischievous look. “That was quite a test run!” As he said this he pushed himself backed up onto his feet.
“Test Run!” He shook his head as his eyes went from the dark brown irises to a sickening green. “This wasn’t part of the plan!” He hissed. ”My hive is waiting for me. And I’m not too thrilled to see our love storages! He looked down only to see the fate of his clothes.
“I’m surprised you didn’t burn off.” he said to the clothes. Suddenly a green flame washed over his body as he reacted emotionless. Once the flames died down the clothes were completely repaired.
he shook his head again and the Green irises were replaced with Red calculated ones.
“Whatever the case may be.” He said it cold and calculated. “We need to reach shelter, if Celestia comes back after us will die in this form.” He proceeded to walk towards the tree line, deciding not to go towards a nearby town.
Suddenly with a blink, the eyes went back to Green.
“I don’t see what’s so wrong with that.” They hissed. “I would be free, and not trapped with you Sombra…” They said with venom.
The eyes instantly turned Red again.
“I DEMAND YOU TAKE THAT BACK!!!”He screeched. “If it wasn’t for the fact I would be dead without This Form! I would’ve let us die! With the soldiers!”
“Hey!” The brown irises cut in. “You didn’t do all the work! I was the one that threw the guard off Canterlot!”
“Yes... I’m sure the Pegasus that flew after him won’t save his life…” The green irises sarcastically said.
“At least I did something Chrissy. You were just too dumbfounded to realize what was happening” Shot back the brown irises.
“ARE YOU IGNORING ME!!!” Cut in the Red irises
“ENOUGH!” Said a pair of Blue irises... finally the irises turned back to yellow, before the body went numb, and collapsed.

Inside the dark void of the body, 4 god-like beings bickered amongst themselves.

“What did you do!” Sombra tried to say through the pain.
“Simple.” said Nightmare Moon. “You are feeling the pain of our host. Surviving a very powerful attack from Celestia, and landing in a river that’s 1000 feet above is not an easy task to survive. It should be downright impossible. Yet you fight when it’s obvious that our host needs attention to his body. Do you know what happens if he dies?”
“Oh! Pick me! Pick me!” Discord said while raising his hand. Before anyone could say anything, he stood back up and began to speak. “You and Sombra would die!” He said oddly cherry. “Since your physical bodies no longer exist, you’ll be cast straight back into the darkness of death where we found you.” He said while giving a one arm hug to Chrysalis who growled. “Me and Chrysalis on the other hand will be fine.”
“Are you sure about that?” Nightmare moon said sinisterly.
Discord looked at the nightmare moon confused before shoving chrysalis away. “What do you mean?” He asked.
Nightmare moon chuckled as she walked toward soon. “Isn’t it obvious… When you came up with this plan, you had no idea what was gonna happen. Right?” She said with her sinister smirk.
Discord scuffed. “I had some idea of what I was getting into. I had predicted five different outcomes. Either we would turn into a completely new being, or one of us would take control. I had no idea a human could get involved, especially an intelligent human at that. Unfortunately I don’t see how this has to do with anything.” He said, smirking at her.
Nightmare Moon’s only response was chuckling even more. “Don’t you see?” she said mockingly. “You don’t even realize the power of the spell we cast. Two dead Darkborn users. A starving queen and her hive. And a spirit of chaos. We all know we went along with it, because we have nothing. But unfortunately for you Discord you were the only one to lose your physical form.”
Discord gave her a stern look. “I don’t-“
“Your statue is in pieces.” She said, interrupting him. “If our host were to die, who’s to say you would even have a chance of coming back to life. You might be already dead.”
Discord thought back to his statue, and how when he was looking through the eyes of the human. He could still see bits and pieces of his remains. It could be possible that he’s fine, but he really didn’t feel like taking the chance now.
Seeing Discord's silent, Nightmare Moon looked over to Chrysalis. “Unlike everypony else, you are the only one that would survive. But do you think your hive has a chance to survive without our power with it.”
Chrysalis was about to respond, but stayed silent. As much as she wanted to, she couldn’t risk the chance to save her hive. Not after all she has failed to do.
“What are you getting at.” interrupted Sombra. The two darkborn users stared off at each other.
“I’m simply pointing out that you three, have no idea what you are doing.” She said, earning glares from the others. She only laughed at their response and continued. “None of you have experience possessing another person. While we all have the skills and power to become gods. It will be all for nothing if we waste our host and three of us die.”
“What do you plan on doing then?” interrupted Discord.
Nightmare Moon looked at all of them and smirked. “You leave that to me to talk to… Our Human.”

I woke up.
The only sound I could hear was my constant breathing. My eyes were blinded by a light, I placed my hand over my face and looked out to the distant valley. I was greeted by planes, fields, a small river and a few mountains in the distance. I was directly facing the sun, and the rooster in the distance told me that it was morning.
I shut my eyes again and lean myself back against the tree. I felt so tired and so… confused? Yeah I think so.
‘I still don’t know why those horse-people attacked me. I don’t understand why they couldn’t leave me alone… why…’
I opened my eyes for a split second. And I wish I didn’t. I noticed a horse-person in front of me. A sword stuck in their heart. My eyes shot open in shock.
The horse person fell down to their knees, and before my eyes they transformed. Once stood a white horse-person wearing golden armour, now stood a human in a dark leathery jacket, and blue jeans. Their face and hair were dishevelled and messy. Blood poured from their heart, which looked to have three holes in it instead of a sword. “You did this to me!” They said back-and-forth transforming from a pony to a human.
I shut my eyes again and grabbed my head. ‘It’s not real, it’s not real!’ I told myself, but I still felt their presence staring into me.
“What isn’t real?” I heard a voice in my head. I remembered the voice they told me to run. It sounded the exact same.
I slowly opened my eyes and realized that there was nothing in front of me. I let out a small sigh. I looked around, although I knew for some reason they were in my head.
“Well you certainly aren’t much of a talker.” I heard a chuckle in my head. “There’s no need to be scared. I’m just in your Head.”
That thought only scared me more. I wanted to say something but my mouth kept shut. ‘How do I know if I can trust her‘ “Because I know every thought that goes in your head.” I felt my back shiver and the sound of her voice replying to me.
“O-OK I’m talking!” I said with a stutter. I silently chastise myself for letting that slip but continued. “Who are you… am I just insane?” I finished mostly to myself. Unable to believe what was happening.
I heard the voice laugh harder this time. But this time the last felt more… genuine?
“Insane! No! No… What’s insane, is the fact that you were being attacked without reason. Do you know who attacked you?... Oh I'm getting ahead of myself, where are my manners, you asked me for my name and I haven’t given it to you. You may call me Nightmare Moon.” The Voice known as Nightmare Moon said to me.
“Nightmare Moon.” I said. “It’s... A nice name… especially for someone like you” I said quietly to myself. Forgetting that she was in my head.
“What was that?” I heard a stern reply.
I felt my heart sink a bit, fearing I had maybe angered the voice in my head. I decided to say something quick. “You know… you sound kind of terrifying like a Nightmare… but there is a hint of beauty in your voice like the Moon.”

This human… he is like nothing I’ve seen… he complexes me all to Tartarus… yet I find myself drawn to this being… I haven’t been drawn to it being since… No! that is the past and I decided to make a new future for myself… I just didn’t expect it to be with a human…
I’ve been stuck in this darkness for a while now. I’ve sent the others down further into the subconscious to learn more of this human. Hopefully we can figure out something. I’ve decided to stay here and watch over our human.
He is rather curious. Very curious. He even talks to himself, it seems that he doesn’t even know what’s going on and he is more loss than us four. This could be a side effect of the spell, but I have a feeling there’s more to the story than meets the eye.
When he woke up, I let myself chuckle seeing him trying to deflect the sun that was coming straight at his face. It wouldn’t take long until he was back to his curious self, observing the area around him.
‘I still don’t know why those horse-people attacked me. I don’t understand why they couldn’t leave me alone… why…’ I heard him say through his mind.
I took a deep breath to prepare myself. The first impression is one of the most important. And if I wanted vengeance against Celestia, I would have to Work with this human.
‘It’s not real, it’s not real!’ I suddenly heard his thoughts. I noticed he shut his eyes, blocking me from the outside world.
“What’s isn’t real?” I blundered out. ‘Really that’s how you start!’ I chastised myself.

“Nightmare Moon.” He said. “It’s... A nice name… especially for someone like you...” he tried to say quietly.
“What was that?” I demanded. If we are already going to have a problem, then I better deal with it NOW!
I saw how nervous he began to look and I slightly enjoyed it until… “You know… you sound kind of terrifying like a Nightmare… but there is a hint of beauty in your voice like the Moon.”

“3 bottles of pop on the wall, 3 bottles of pop, If one of those bottles should happen to fall, 2 bottles of pop on the wall.” Discord continued the song despite our aggression.
Chrysalis also seems to have fallen to Discord madness. Singing along with him in a few phrases just to continue the song, How Pathetic!
“...2… pops on the wall... 2 bottles of pop… If one… bottles should happen to fall… 1 bottle of pop on the wall….” She quietly sang. A muse to myself that she was slowly dying of torture.
Unfortunately for me, Discord only seemed more cheerful to finish the song.1 bottle of pop on the wall 1 bottle of pop If that bottle should happen to fall, No bottles of pop on the… *inhale* WALLLLLLLL-“ “I WILL BUCKING MURDER YOU!!!”
I turned around, only to notice Chrysalis had jumped the monster. Finally he’s torturing was met by his choking, as chrysalis wrapped her Claw like hands around his throat. It’s unfortunate we can’t kill each other, Otherwise I’ve already would’ve taken over this form, this... human… I chuckled at the thought of being brought so pathetically low…
I let out a small grunt before turning back around and continuing into this… subconscious…

‘I’m going to kill him! I’m going to kill him!’ I maliciously thought in my head. If I believed it… I was eventually going to kill him… I choked Discord. around his long neck, and his head wiggled around like a snake.
It only pissed me off more when he was trying to laugh through his strangling.
Unfortunately, no matter how hard I tried, we just stood there…. looking like idiots.
Eventually I got tired and got off. “No more singing!” I demanded before storming off.
I have bigger things on my mind right now Then a bucking fool. I had one of the strongest hives in the badlands, and I took quite pride in having that acknowledgement. We survived everything the badlands threw at us.
But now I can only hear my children die. I can hear the sounds of pops in my ears as one of my children dies. With it comes a shiver of guilt. Well temperatures don’t normally affect the changelings. I can still feel cold and lonely.
I thought this was the best way to help my children, but this whole contractor seem to gone off the rails completely. Now we have to follow around this human.
‘This human does not know much, after we’re done with our missions, return to me for training.’ I could hear the smugness of Nightmare Moon even in my own mind. She thinks herself all high and mighty just because she has somewhat of a clue of what’s going on.
I wasn’t looking forward to dealing with this human. If it was up to me, I would be out saving my children right now. And this human is too slow.
Perhaps training would be for the best….

I continue to laugh. Even after her claws released my throat, I laughed. I was just wondering how long it would take to make one of them snap, and now I know.
Six hours! A whole new record! I really have to give it to Chrissy!
Although Sombro has yet to break. And once I’m done figuring out how the subconscious works… I'm going to test Nightmare Moon. My laugh slowly turned evil for I had so many wonderful plans.
But I didn’t have a moment to lose. Sombro has gained a bit of a lead, but not for long.

I continued walking. Deeper and deeper. Yet no matter how long we walked there was Nothing!
The armour that I wore started to strain on me. The metal I use for my armour is quite rare and very few have been able to duplicate the material. However for all of its properties and upsides. It’s extremely heavy, even for me. I smirked, imagining the human trying to wear my armour. How long would it have been for him to fall over and be immovable. A slight chuckle escaped my lips… unfortunately I wish I hadn’t…
“How are you doing!? Sombro!” Discord teleported right beside me and proceeded to shout in my face. “There’s not really anything funny in this darkness, so what made you laugh!” He said with a stupid grin.
I growled at him, bearing my fangs. “That’s none of your concern you overgrown freakshow. And stop giving me a nickname!”
Discord only proceeded to laugh at my dismay. My only response was to growl even further.
“Oh hush, Sombro! I came to give you the new good news!” He said well extending his arms. Instantly I can hear the sound of applause and cheering all around me but I knew he was just messing with my mind.
“Cut it out! Can’t you just keep bothering Chrysalis!” I shouted at him.
“But that’s exactly why I am here! She lost the game so I’m here to tell you the truth!” He said defensively which only irritates me more.
“What in Tartarus!? are you talking about?” I said with a glare.
He proceeded to give me a devilish smirk before speaking. “The place we need to go is just to your right… actually it’s been to your right about five hours and 45 minutes. I’ve just been slowly making you walk in circles!”

“YOU!” “Tootles!” Before I could do anything he teleported away.
“I’M SENDIND YOU TO TARTARUS!!! IN PIECES!!!” I shouted at the top of my lungs.
“SHUT UP!” I heard someone yell from behind me. Slowly I turned around and noticed it was Chrysalis. I was still seething as I was looking at her.

“Well somepony’s cranky!” I teased Sombra. “I didn’t know the Almighty, Sombra, was a constant letdown.”
He was still seething at me and whatever discord said to him really pissed him off. So I decided to have some fun too.
“If I could kill you! I would! But weren’t you just a blubbering mess five minutes ago. I’m sure your hive would love to see you like that! Perhaps opening your mouth was the worst mistake you ever made!” He shouted back at me.
He blames me for what I did! I HAD NO CHOICE! Before I could let that son of a bitch go I jumped onto him with fury and GREEN HELL FIRE. I don’t care if I can’t kill him! I’m gonna make this hurt!

I continue to laugh as I made my way inside of the subconscious. To my surprise, I seem to be in a house. And from what I could see it was far different than what I expected. Having a Quick look around I noticed a bed and realized it was a bedroom. There were several black boxes scattered onto a table and the floor. I seem to be more advanced than current technology that I’ve seen so far.
That was one of the very odd things in the room. I noticed a blue trash can that was left beside the wall just before the door. In one of the corners there seem to be a closet full of clothes and another cupboard full of more clothes. I wondered how rich this human must’ve been to have at least 30 pairs of different clothes. There was also an odd smell coming from the closet but I ignored it for now.
Thirdly I begin to notice how dusty it was in the room. There had to be a layer of dust over everything! On the floor, walls and roof and all the objects I mentioned before. There seem to be a bit of trash laying around but honestly I didn’t know its purpose.
But finally what caught my attention the most was a simple picture frame in the room. It had the very human that is our host. But there was another, small human beside it. I can only guess it was a small female. Impossibly they both seem to be Smiling! Compared to the male human, she had nice dark long hair, to his scruffy brown hair, and her blue eyes shined a purity I have not seen in a long time. As I looked at my host however I noticed that he seemed to be faking smiling. He was off looking away from the picture staring at something else with his deep blue eyes. I was taken aback remembering that his eyes were yellow.
Something about the picture caught my interest and slowly I reached out. As I grabbed it, a whole layer of dust came off. Slowly I looked at the picture and rubbed my Eagle like claw on the girl…

And the more that there is silence the more I feel uncomfortable.
“You are quite the liar, aren’t you?” I heard her say to me.
I felt my body freeze. “What do you mean! I spoke the truth!” I panicked yelled.
“I know for a fact, you did not look up upon my moon, and you wouldn’t even know what it looks like, would you?” I felt my heart rate increase wondering what was going to happen to me now.
“You have quite the problem with your memory don’t you?” I could hear Nightmare Moon say.

I don’t know why… but I suddenly Felt a shiver going down my spine… ‘my memory.’ “What do you mean.” I blurted out.
“Come on!” I can hear her cheerfully say. “We both know that you don’t remember anything… you know, you’re handling it better than anypony else I expect it to. Why aren’t you scared?” I could hear her ask me.
I felt another... cold shiver…. I didn’t know what was wrong with me. But I suddenly felt colder…
“I don’t know… it doesn’t really bother me, I guest.” I lied.
“Mhm.” was her response. “Are you sure? I would hate for our host to be lying to us.” I heard her say menacingly. But I caught onto a keyword.
“Us?” I quietly said.
“Yes.” was her response. “In total, you have 4 God-like beings inside of your head. Some of us can only live, because you live. It wasn’t the original deal but it is now. That’s why it’s my… Sacred duty… To Protect You!” Her words only made me a bit more tense.
“A-And the others. They’re all in my head… just like you.” I said slowly.
“You don’t have to be scared.” I heard her say. “Your life is going to get so much better. All of our strength is yours. You just need to do some training in a few things for us. Then... you can have revenge!”
“NO! THANK YOU!”

I was taken aback by his shouting. Did he just deny revenge. I hope we don’t have a goody two shoes. Otherwise plans of revenge are gonna be a little while.
“What’s wrong…” I said first wondering why he didn’t take the opportunity to get his revenge. “THEY were against you… they threw you out of The City and down the mountain. Do you honestly believe they were trying to spare you.”
“No…” was his slow response. I widened my grin realizing my chances of revenge were still at large. “...You’re wrong!” I heard him say in… defiance?
Before I could say anything he started ranting. “I don’t think they would ever have spared me. But honestly I didn’t get a chance to spare them. I threw one of them off a mountain, One of them was split in half. The other was SKEWERED by me… I don’t think revenge would help… It’ll make things worse... and more people will die…”
I didn’t need to be a creature of the mind... to understand his guilt. When I was Luna… ha… when WE were Luna. We have got the experience of war. This human reminds me a bit of Luna. 1 second they can take a life . next they feel nothing but guilt… we felt guilt…
I let out a sigh… was I really going to give up my plans for revenge…

… but perhaps we should focus on other things, such as the training I plan on giving him. I felt so complex with this human.
“Very well,” I said aloud. “We won’t focus on revenge, but your training. However the others may not be so pleased.” I gave him a warning wishing a bit for him to reconsider.
“T-Then we can have a t-talk.” He stammered out bravely. Honestly it was kind of cute. “I’ll hear the revenge, and make my decision from there.” He said with a bit more sturdiness.
Strangely I found myself smiling a bit. Although he does seem to be quite a diplomat. Maybe he’s more intelligent than we thought and training him won’t be so hard. However that could also be wishing thinking from me.
“Another thing we should focus on. Is your memory.” I said to him. Another Shiver. “H-How about we focus on training?!” He quickly tried to derail the conversation. Unfortunately for him I wasn’t having any of it.
“OK! Seriously!” I shouted more than I liked. “Why do you keep moving away from your memory! Shouldn’t you be striving to remember it! You’re in a completely different world, perhaps even a reality! Yet you don’t give two shits about your memory!” For a second I wonder if he was hiding something from us. I almost chuckled at the thought for whatever he was hiding from us would be revealed in his subconscious.
I didn’t expect the scream. Before I could do anything, he was screaming as loud as he could. I tried talking to him... even apologizing… but nothing seemed to break his hold.

I felt so cold. There was a loud noise irking me and it took me a minute to realize it was myself. I could feel myself starting to cry. That’s when a memory hit me
There was a little girl in front of me dead. For some reason I knew this girl. “Amelia.” my own mouth moved. Her black hair was mixed in a pool of blood. Her lifeless eyes staring back at me. I felt my own heart pierced by a knife that wasn’t there. Just staring into those eyes made me feel my world shatter.
Before I could do anything, a sweet embrace of darkness took me.

I sat they’re in his mind wondering, what happened to the human to make him knock himself out cold. I haven’t felt this much fear from a human or any creature… for a very long time… I wonder… It’s been about six hours… did those buffoons mess with somethings in the subconscious.
He wasn’t gonna get up for a while, but he was still defenceless outside of the Everfree. I can’t leave him alone so I decided to use the next best thing.
“Sombra, Chrysalis And Discord.” I shouted into the mind. “Return from the subconscious there are things that we need to discuss. I expect a full report upon your return.” Using a bit of my magic I made sure the message got to all of them, wherever they were in the subconscious.
The first one to make it back was discord. Having instantly teleported back to the front. “Moonbutt. How can I be of help?” Out of all the nicknames…
“Discord… where are the others?” I asked, giving him a glare.
He proceeded to give me a confused look. “Others, what others! I’m just here to help!” He said with a stupid toothy grin. There was only so much I was willing to take today.
“I’m not here to play games, Discord! Where are the others!” I practically shouted at him causing him to look at me with a frightening look for once.
“I’m sorry, ma’am” he said, I could only assume in a mocking tone. It was so hard to tell what he was truly thinking. “We have lost each other in the subconscious. I’m afraid I will take hours just to try to get them out. Oh boo-hoo hoo” now I know he was faking. I was about to ask him a final time when suddenly both of them arrived out of the darkness… and immediately lost my composure. Unintentionally I laughed with Discord but the scene was just too funny.
Sombra was obviously burnt and scarred in a few areas that were quickly healing while chrysalis was cut in some pieces that were just floating together. One of her hands was unattached from her body but it still moves like it was there. Both of them were healing ever so slowly but the damage had already been done.
“Even after I specifically tell you you couldn’t kill each other. You still tried anyway.” My life continued with Discord as they both glared at us.
“That bitch is crazy!” Spat Sombra. “She attacked me like some kind of rabid animal! With Fire!”
“Next time watch what you say!” Chrysalis shot back. “Say something like that again and I’ll do something much worse than just burn your ‘jewels‘ “

Me and Discord continue to laugh at their misery.
Eventually we all calm down and I got a look at everypony. “I take it the subconscious mission wasn’t that much of a success, although one of you did something. So did anypony make it into the subconscious.” I looked at all of them and instantly realized who was the only preacher able to reach the subconscious.
I let out a sigh seeing that he wasn’t coming forward. “Discord?” I said looking at him unamused.
He proceeded to look around the room completely avoiding eye contact with me. “I might’ve found something…” he said with a devilish Mark before revealing a photograph to us.

“Who do you think she is?” Discord asked. The four God-like being huddled around the small little photo. Nightmare Moon was currently holding the photo. Sombra and Chrysalis we’re both peering over her shoulders. Discord was a few feet away having already memorized the photo.
“Sister.” Sombra blatantly said.
“Oh, really.” Chrysalis said with a smirk. “If they were siblings I’m sure he would be smiling more. I bet it’s a cousin, they always seem to be the most annoying.” Chrysalis stated.
Nightmare moon examined the photo and proceeded to bring all fruits of knowledge under the human tree. While humans were savage beings that turned in some kind of pet. Humans were far different.
“Perhaps, daughter?” Nightmare Moon said. The others stared at her.
“What? Humans only live 20 to 30 years. It’s quite possible to be his daughter. But honestly I believe who or what she is of little importance. Whoever she is, our human reacted violently when you!” She pointed at Discord.
Caught off guard Discord shrunk a little bit.
“Touched this dusty photo! How much of the room was covered in dust?” She asked him with serious eyes.
“I think there was a good two layers of dust on everything!” Discord said, giving his answer.
Nightmare let out a small grow. “Then it was Worse than I feared. Not only does he have amnesia. But Something else is also getting in the way.”
“What does that mean?” Sombra asked, genuinely confused.
“I don’t know!” says Nightmare Moon, A bit pissed off. “It could be a dozen different things, half of them include magic. And don’t give me started if there’s somepony who’s doing it.” She proceeded to pace back-and-forth to the confusion of the others. “Let’s see.” She said. “If there is no magic involved, the two biggest reasons why there is a second layer of dust is either out of fear or guilt.” She proceeded to close her eyes and place her right hand underneath her chin thinking very hardly on the situation at hand. The others watched her go back and forth, back and forth.
This went on for a few minutes until Discord let out a small chuckle preceded by Chrysalis. Nightmare stopped what she was doing and proceeded to look at her companions with a glare. “What’s so funny?”
Discord let out a few more chuckles before saying. “You! What are you doing?”
Nightmare looked at Discord offended but before she could speak Sombra said “What’s with the pacing? It’s making me dizzy…”
For a minute everything was silent, as the three God-like beings waited for their companions answer.
“...What…” The serious look on her face made Discord lose it with laughter.
“You’re pacing?” Chrysalis repeated.
Discord continued to laugh before speaking. “I honestly think she doesn’t have a clue what we are talking about. And I thought I didn’t make sense!” As he continues to laugh.
That got Sombra to chuckle a little bit. “You didn’t realize you were pacing?” Chrysalis joined in the small chuckles and laughs as well.
“I-I D-Don’t PACE!!!” She yelled, to more laughter.
“It’s true!” Chrysalis wheezed out.
All you could hear in the dark void was the laughter of the 3 God-like beings.
The red on Nightmare Moon cheeks were visible to everyone. “Well would you look at the time!” she said, trying to cut through their laughter. Unfortunately it didn’t work.
Their laughter was shortly cut off when the void itself grabbed them and lifted them up. “Don’t you three have a job to do. Discord unfortunately was the only one to bring me back with any knowledge of anything. So bring me back something else to help figure out this problem.”
Before they could argue the void through them out and back deeper into darkness.
Nightmare proceeded to look back to the spot where she would see out of the human eyes. Still the darkness covered it. “What is up with you, human? You’re nothing I've ever seen before…”
Nightmare slowly started pacing again, but caught herself in the middle of the act.
She proceeded to sit down and wait for her human to wake up.

Darkness was all that I could see. But ever so slowly I could see something glowing bright. I looked above me, a Beautiful white sphere glowed in the sky. The darkness was replaced by a smooth purple as stars lit up the sky. Suddenly I could see rocks form around me as a red carpet appeared underneath my feet. Before my very eyes a structure was made. However it didn’t finish. The remains of a structure was all that littered around me.
But once I turned my head back to the Beautiful white sphere. I saw a huge pony figure standing in front of it, her horn piercing the Beautiful white sphere. At first I thought it was the white one by her size. But a second glance showed that she was literally darker. I could feel intense energy coming off of her. As her light blue eyes stared into my soul.
I thought she would attack me like the others but as she walked towards me with a calm demeanour. I felt my own worries disappear. I felt like I knew her.
She eventually stood in front of me as she gently placed her hand on my shoulder. She gently walked around me as I could see her sharp white teeth smiling. I almost felt safe…
She eventually hugged my back and placed her head right next to mine as we both stared at the moon… Moon… nightmare moon…. She truly is a beautiful nightmare…
Unfortunately it didn’t last as a green flame engulfed everything. I felt Nightmare Moon’s grasp slip away. I tried to grab her. But as I turned around I noticed a different person there. She looks similar to Nightmare Moon. But her green eyes were full of hate. Her arms and legs were covered in holes and there didn’t seem to be any fur on her. Slowly blue eyes appeared into the flames around me... circling me. Like predators hunting prey.
This didn’t last too long a male laugh cut through the air. Suddenly it change into female, younger back to male and older. Sickly, evilly, joyfully. Laughter was now all I could hear from every possible voice imaginable. I didn’t even notice the world change around me as a pink chess board appeared onto the floor as it started raining chocolate putting out the green flames. I started remembering a few things such as chocolate. I remember I love chocolate. Much more memories of smaller things flooded in some I couldn’t even keep track of. Suddenly a brown figure appeared in front of me. I say figure because I couldn’t really tell what it was. It looked to be a mix match of different animals. It refused to keep one shape as it seemed to mould into different shapes and creatures. Sometimes it would grow extra mouths to laugh harder. Truly a mad abomination.
As I was on my knees covering my ears from the laughter. I felt the earth underneath me rise up. Literally a 5 m pillar of the earth flew up into the sky. The pink checkered board was replaced with red crystals. I was now kneeling on a red crystal pillar. I felt cuffs shackle themselves to my wrists and ankles as I could hear the cry of thousands of people. Looking around I saw thousands of ponies. All of them in handcuffs or being watched by Stoic guards with glowing green eyes. But the one that stood in front of me scared me the most. It seemed to be a gray male pony figure and this one was the only one that didn’t look at me. His red cape flowing behind him with his metal armour which I can only guess to be iron or steel. A similar metal crown on his head. Finally he looked at me in the corner of his eye before turning back forward to watch everyone suffer. A tyrant king.
Then back to Darkness.
I was glad everything was over…. Now I can sleep….
“NOT YET!!!” I felt something yank me up by my neck and look at me in my face. I was surprised to see my own yellow eyes staring back at me. I was almost certain I was staring at a mirror if it wasn’t the fact they were choking me. They started whispering words into my ear but I can’t remember what they said. The only word I can remember that they said was “Spirit!”

I gasped myself awake. Trying to suck in as much air as I can.
“Take it easy, take it easy, you don’t need to shake things up in here. Everything’s all right, it was probably just a nightmare.” I could hear the voice of Nightmare Moon say.
I chuckled a bit. “That’s pretty ironic… since you were the only good thing about it.” I felt like I wanted to slap myself for saying that and I felt like Nightmare wanted to too. After all why would she be so quiet.

‘Is he being an idiot or is he flirting with me!’ was all that nightmare moon could think. I can’t tell with his amnesia. ‘Why do the others have to be so useless and get me so little information!’

Still nothing from Nightmare Moon. I looked up to the sky and noticed it was dark. Did I really miss a whole day? I slowly stood up. “you know Nightmare, in my dream I remember the moon.” I tried to explain what I previously said. “I was in a collapse structure. The only thing I could really notice was the beautiful white sphere in the sky. Eventually you showed up there and after you walked around me, I remembered your name and everything kind of clicked…” still no response from Nightmare. “So you want to check out my first time looking up at the real moon and see if I remember it as beautiful in my dream?”
“...I would love to…” she finally spoke. After getting out from under the tree. I looked up to the Moon lit sky.
We just stood there as my eyes adjusted to all of the stars and colours of the night. “I was wrong.” I said out loud. “I could never imagine something as beautiful as this.”
I felt a bit scared when Nightmare didn’t respond.
But after a little bit I heard her respond. “Yeah… you truly know how to appreciate my night sky…”
“Spirit!” I quickly responded. I could literally sent her confusion. “It’s my name.“ I stated
It took a second but she finally responded. “I’m only returning the favour… but you also have a beautiful name.” I felt myself smile as she said that.
We stood there for a little bit longer but of course something had to change. *growl* my stomach finally gave it’s opinion.
“You must be starving!” Nightmare yelled in my head. “We slept the entire day away. I was going to teach you to hunt but will have to hold that off for a little bit. You need some energy and luckily for you I know where to get some.”
Instantly she barked for me to go forward. Not wanting to upset the angry lady I followed her directions to the letter. The walk was long and luckily I didn’t have to go through the river because there was a nice little bridge beside A little earth house just on the outside of town. She immediately ordered me to start walking away from town. And towards a huge apple Field.
I can feel my taste buds begging to eat some apples. My stomach was Begging to eat anything. I quickly marched my way up to the orchard and hopped the small fence made to keep me out. As I made my way to one of the first trees I noticed a house. Then a barn. Finally I could in to where I was.
“Nightmare... we can’t be here…” I protested. I might be hungry but I can’t steal from this family.”
“What!” She yelled louder than before. Are you a dumb ass. “You are on the brink of starving and you need the energy to survive. These people won’t help you as soon as they learn what you are, they'll try to turn you to stone permanently! Is that what you want! To be put on a show for the rest of your life! Begin for Freedom!”
The way she yelled it shocked me to my core. I felt petrified, unknowing what to do.

We stood there in silence. I felt my heart racing and my head full of thoughts of what to do. I felt scared… “S-Spirit…” she finally said deflated. “I’m sorry for snapping at you. I’m just trying to look after you. You can’t trust anyone out here, all you have is us now. You didn’t choose to be in this position but it’s too late for you to turn back. After killing one of the Celestia‘s guards you’ll be public enemy number one. And these ponies will bring you to her. You and I are stuck together and we have to work together to survive. Do you understand?”
I felt myself slightly nod. “Exactly I don’t want to stock the flame. I’m already in enough trouble I don’t want them to track me down.”

It took a few seconds but she finally responded. *Sigh*. “Are you really going to be this stubborn?” I didn’t really respond but I stood firm.
“Fine… you do raise a few good points… however do you still need the energy… I promise you, I know how you can repay them back. But we can’t do it now we need to eat an run. Now stop standing in the open, you look sketchy!”
I didn’t move. “You promise?” I asked one last time.
*Sigh* “I promise you, Spirit.” I slightly nodded my head and proceeded to pick a few apples.
I went a little deeper into the orchard and tried to only pick a couple apples from each tree. However, on my fifth tree I noticed one light turn on in the house. Nightmare hurried me to grab as much apples as I can and run. I agreed and started grabbing as many apples as I can and ran. I used my shirt as a pouch as I stuffed a good seven apples in there before it got tricky to run. With nine extra apples I continued to run when I heard the door open. Suddenly I could hear barking but thankfully I got a good head start. I felt my legs run faster as trees rushed by me.
“I’m giving you as much energy as I can.” I heard Nightmares say. “We can’t let them see you. I underestimated how protective they would be about the orchard. Just head over to the dark scary forest. They won’t follow you in there and They’ll Think that you’re just a beast that came out of it.” I did as Nightmare ordered. Soon the sound of the barking grew further and further away to the point my feet made more sound then it.
I quickly ran into the dark scary forest as nightmare put it and proceeded to continue to run. I have a feeling I lost one of the apples but seven or eight is still good enough for me. At least for a little bit.
“Continue running!” Nightmare said. “I’ll lead you to a secret place.” I did and she said and continued to run and run. It kind of reminded me of the first night but I was much faster. But eventually I had to give in and stop to catch a breath.
“This isn’t a place to rest…” Nightmare Moon said. If we aren’t careful we make it caught in between a fight between a hydra and a manticore.
*Huff**Puff* “What the hell are those things?”
“You don’t want to find out here. Don’t worry about it until you face it. I’ll tell you more once we're in a safe spot but you have to keep running.
Slowly nodding my head I tried to start off with a light jog. But I felt like my adrenaline was already spent. That was until my body glowed a bit blueish purple. And I felt myself takeoff in a sprint again, full of energy.
I don’t know how long I ran in this forest. It had to be at least a couple of hours. But I finally made it!
I noticed the old structure laying on top of the hill, surrounded by a bottomless pit. The old structure reminded me of my dream. But I don’t remember it from the outside.
I made my way over to a wooden bridge. It looked very unstable. But a tired sounding Nightmare told me that I would be fine. With some hesitation across the wooden bridge.
Once I had made it over to the other side I rushed to the door.
I quickly opened it and shut it behind me. I feel my body given from all the stress of the day. I sat right in front of the doors with my back leaning against them. I feel my eyes wanting to close. I looked at my apples right now and noticed that I still had online and that one almost got away. Devouring two more apples eventually set them aside.
“Not a bad night...” I heard a tired nightmare say. Tomorrow we hunt and pay back our debt… sound fair…” all I could really do was not in my head as I felt my eyes close. I looked around the room one last time taking in everything I could. A small smile was stuck on my face as I slowly breathe in and out and finally went to sleep…

Discord still alone in the memory house. Having recently washed the bathroom and was currently taking a bath. He felt the back of his hairs left up as he looked around. “Oh so now you want to write about me… Well too bad you have to wait for the next chapter of what I found. Tootles!!!”
