“Welcome fellow readers come closer it is I Grubber, I am here to tell you a story, not any story oh no the story of how The Storm King plunged our land into darkness.” Grubber introduced.

“I know in another universe The Storm King lost, but in my universe The Storm King won.” Grubber said dramatically.

“How did it all begin you ask, well let’s take a look at the time Twilight saved Tempest’s life and we will see where things began to go south.” Grubber said mournfully.

Twilight and Tempest accepted their fates as the Storm King blasted them the Mane 5 and Spike made it to the Storm King but Twilight had already been charred and burnt, Tempest however was swept in the tornado.

Spike saw it all, his big sister figure was taken down the Mane 5 put up a big fight but with the Storm King having the power of four alicorns there was no hope, they all retreated, the Storm King let them go as they were no longer a threat.

Spike looked back at the castle with tears but then he gritted his teeth, and his eyes became red, he had a new goal, it was revenge.

A resistance was formed in the Crystal Empire which was led by Shining Armor.

The Mane 5 were busy mourning their friend in the castle room when suddenly Spike opened the door.

“Why are you just sitting around doing nothing, there is a war about to begin.” Spike screamed angrily.

“Spike we just lost Twilight cut us some slack.” Rainbow Dash argued annoyed with the small dragon.

“I will not let it go, I lost Twilight too but I’m not being a sad sack now am I, now get ready for an attack.” Spike commanded with venom.

Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy did just as he said in fear.

“Spikey Wikey this isn’t like you.” Rarity said shocked at the dragon’s new behavior.

“Oh I agree this is the new me, and my new goal is taking the Storm King down for Twilight.” Spike spoke angrily with gritted teeth.

”Ever since then a war was made. Lives were lost, allies were gained, and even the most unlikely of heroes joined the cause, but why should I tell you this when you could see for yourself.” Grubber narrated.

The Changelings and Dragons were alerted by Spike of the Storm King and joined the cause to stop the Storm King, a war was made between the Storm King and what was left of Equestria, it was a rough battle that still continues even with Shining Armor leading the charge it still took everypony doing their part to stop the Storm King.

The yaks and griffons were overpowered by the Storm King and were now under it’s command.

Starlight walked through the Crystal Empire sighing, she was the Commander of the resistance at Spike’s command of course. Spike had changed since the war had began, he became more commanding and angry he was no longer a positive ray of sunshine and was a storm brewing each day, he mostly took command over the base while Shining Armor was out.

“Um I’m here to see Spike.” Starlight assures Smolder and Ocellus.

“Of course Commander he’s in the throne room.” Smolder said giving Starlight entrance.

Spike was in his throne thinking he slowly but surely was growing angrier he thought about Twilight like he always did and the thought of her made him grow angrier and angrier.

Starlight opened up the entrance to the throne room giving her entrance to the throne room.

“Spike it’s me, can we talk?” Starlight asked with nervousness.

“Of course Commander.” Spike said with respect.

“Why are you acting this way to our friends I know you’re upset about Twilight’s death but-“ Starlight began before Spike seethed with rage.

“Don’t you dare mention what happened to Twilight in my presence.” Spike commanded with venom.

“That’s the problem you freak out about this all the time and you’re taking it out on our friends would it help just to be nicer to them?” Starlight asked with an awkward smile.

“Oh sure and maybe we can have a nice picnic and dance under the stars oh wait no we can’t there is a war happening out there.” Spike said annoyed.

“Still not an excuse for being this strict on them.” Starlight fired back.

“Well maybe if those five didn’t act like idiots the whole fucking time during that stupid quest Twilight would still be here with me.” Spike said wiping his tears angrily.

“You want to know what happened on that quest, they did nothing but sing and dance like the MORONS they are. They didn’t take a thing seriously and now look what happened Twilight’s gone, Equestria has fallen, and it’s all their fault.” Spike yelled angrily.

Starlight looked at Spike with remorse before Spike softly spoke. “How did the trip to Ponyville go?”

“We found a new ally Sandbar whose parents were taken out and Trixie was saved.” Starlight reported with a serious tone.

“Adequate job, you are dismissed Commander Starlight and remember not to mention Twilight‘s passing around me ever again.”

Starlight nodded and left respectfully while Ocellus and Smolder greeted her as she left.

“So how’d it go?” Ocellus asked nervously.

“I mentioned Twilight and he freaked out.” Starlight explained.

Smolder then began lecturing “Forgive me commander but you should know better than to remind him of what happened to Twilight.”

“But he’s just been so mean and demanding To our friends, I just want the old Spike back but still have him be a good leader.” Starlight said with tears.

“We all miss the nicer Spike.” Discord said appearing “But we all have come to accept this it’s been 7 months Starlight it’s time you accept it too.”

“Sigh maybe you’re right but Discord just get ready for the trip to Manehatten we’ll need you when dealing with the Storm King’s forces.” Starlight ordered seriously.

“Of course Starlight.” Discord said disappearing.

Starlight then trotted off hoping that one day Equestria would return to them.
