“We might as well,” Twilight said, thankful that she’d managed to diffuse the situation. Though, on the other hand, that typically wasn’t particularly hard to do. Which was why it was probably for the best that Twilight had cheered her up immediately or else there likely would have been property damage.

It’d be fine. Probably. Steeling herself, she pushed her doubts aside – dwelling on them wasn’t helpful – and cast the spell.
There was a flash of violet, probably brighter than it really should have been, and then it was over. “There. Now we just wait for it to kick in.”
“How will we know if it’s worked?”
“Gummy’ll talk.”
