Chrysalis thought she had won when Twilight was turned into a changeling, but she was wrong. Starlight had often wondered who watched the watchpony. Turns out, the answer was Starlight Glimmer. Now it's her turn to pull a startling victory.
Starlight thought Twilight might have everything under control. Starlight thought that at the last moment, Twilight would spring a complex trap on Chrysalis - revealing herself to have had it under control all along. It had happened when Starlight had tried to go against the princess; why not now? Starlight was wrong.
Chrsyalis thought that transforming Twilight into a Brood Queen meant she had won. Chrysalis had thought that with her hive coming back before her very eyes meant that she was on the road to success. After all, there were no witnesses; right? Chrysalis was wrong.
