Chapter 1: Troubles Start

A few weeks later Greenfield found out that the cyborg mare he tried to save donated every once of blood she could to save him. He still thought she was the most amazing creature he ever saw. Once Greenfield was cleared to walk about he went to the front desk, "Hey, I'm looking for a mare with a cyborg body; can you tell me what room she's in?"
"I can't divulge that information." As Greenfield turned around he heard yelling.
"Damn it Knuckles I can do it on my own! You put your hooves on me again to provide the support that I supposedly need you'll regret it!" Greenfield sat in watched in amusement as a battered cyborg bodied mare walked down the hall towards him and rather wobbly. She just stepped passed him and she slipped and almost fell on top of him.
"Damn she's heavy," thought Knuckles as they hit the floor after Knuckles had pushed Greenfield out of the way. When he came to his senses looking up he saw his wife staring at him and Makita.
Realizing they landed, looked like make-out session. Knuclsand Makita scrambled to untangle themselves and Sweetie Belle laughed at the sight. "I ok knew you liked Makita, but I didn't think it would come to making out in the hospital hallway?" Sweetie Belle teased. Knuckles blushed and Makita face-hoofed.
Greenfield nervously shuffled his hooves in a circular motion, "Hey, um........Makita thanks for saving my life a few days ago, and donating the blood that you had."
"I had to, you risked yours for mine, and Knuckles here donated as well since he in his own words, "owed" it to me since it helped save the life of one of his daughters. " as the three ponies sat and talked while the others trotted up to join them. Makita didn't look into Sweetie's eyes because her orders were short walks and with a registered rehab nurse. Knuckles chuckled at the reprimand, but he wasn't off the hook either Sweetie had told him the exact e thing since the leg Flytrap broke a few months ago was getting worse in the amount of pain it acquired if he walked too much.
While Sweetie Belle lectured both of them, Nurse Redheart walked up with a look of displeasure. "Greenfield, I told you to stay out in your room and I'll be back to check your vitals! Here I find out you'd been tackled and hunting a patient down, you should know about privacy disclosure because of you trade dealing with computers and the insurance industry. Thank Celestia you didn't get crushed! Now back to your room." Knuckles and Sweetie have never seen Redheart annoyed before and Redheart stole a glare toward the couple and the cute pile of fillies in huddled together.
" What's her problem? "
"She was put in charge of the entire ward for the day and if anything goes wrong she has to answer for it cuz the Doctor who was in charge had a board meeting in Canterlot and Redheart has seniority here. It's not you, she's just a bit stressed. Now come here you cute fillies and let me hug you guys before you leave for the day." They all got a hug and trotted along the side of their dad toward the elevators.
Sweetie Belle watched sadly as Knuckles limped down the hall. What made wonder, what if Hibiscus' back legs with some rehab exercises be able to function properly. Makita was escorted back to her room and she was very grumpy about it.

Knuckles began the preparations for dinner, his family were coming over and a few others had been invited. He also invited Sweetie Belle, Greenfield (the latter had been discharged and told to take it easy), his squadmates, and Nurse Redheart and his new across the street neighbour Crystal Meth a rehab nurse of some kind. Having his daughters helping was a huge relief. Hibiscus helped the best she could, but inside she felt useless, having that damned wheel harness made her feel like a nuisance it took up space in the kitchen.
When no-pony was looking she snuck off and removed the harness. She tried to stand on own, she was almost there; only need to get those back legs under her and push off the ground. She fell the ground after taking one small step. Sobbing, she tried again and again. "I gotta do this!" She thought. She finally stood and took five full steps! That moment she looked at the kitchen window from where she stood, she saw her father gawking in surprise. Beaming him a smile, she failed to see Blitz and Lightning careening toward her from the sky. Next thing she knew she was slammed into the ground and a hoof slammed into her muzzle. Looking up she saw Blitz straddling her and glaring at her, Lightning was standing by her head, both colts had a look of lust in their eyes and as she opened her mouth to scream Lightning shoved his cock into her mouth to shut her up. Blitz was getting off seeing her panic and her flailing trying to get him off.

Before Knuckles' mind reacted to what his eyes saw Staccato was already running out of the house. Slamming the door open she ran right for the pegasi colts.

Knuckles then turned on Lightning, who was trying to rape Staccato. Both colts after a short time were pinned down and Vivacé had called the police and the then cops arrived hauled the colts off to be booked.

Chapter 2: Spiralling

He saw it in their eyes, fear, fear of what he might do to them; he realized that they were afraid of him now. He lifted his cellphone and called his mother and told her what had happened. When his mom pulled up, she gently led the fillies inside to get cleaned up. The rest of the family showed up for dinner and as they ate, Knuckles asked his mother to take the girls for a while since they were so afraid of him. Star Shadow agreed to do so.

(Pain killers)

That night was a quiet one after everypony else left for the night. Stumbling from his bed he rummaged in the cabinet above the sink in the restroom. Opening the bottle of prescription drug pain killers he slugged four pills down and he began to feel drowsy but the pain of knowing that he terrified his fillies was numbed for now.
When he woke the next morning, he got breakfast and drove to work. Still drowsy he began to file his work away and began his daily routine. He saw his squad watching him, he felt like Makita knew he had the night before slugged a total of 12 pills.

(3 months later)

Knuckles was sprawled out on the bedroom floor with his bottle of prescription drug pain killers emptied of its contents, and nearby was a syringe that he had used, on the kitchen counter he had snorted a whole 5 kilos of Meth, and to top it all off he smoked enough pot to get him stoned for 72 hours.
His squad car was at the station and in his drugged up state Knuckles mentally knew they Makita was gonna clean it out and thank Celestia he didn't have his stash easy to find.
Several days later he was driving his squad car with his partner for the day, his sister Lenova. The latter was digging in the glove box for a pen when she felt small plastic bags taped to the interior, pulling them out the was appalled, to say the least.
"Knuckles, is this meth?"
Knuckles sweating now swallowed hard, he slowly nodded his head yes. "Promise me Makita you won't tell mom and dad or anypony for that matter," Lenova promised, but she was planning to do so. When they stopped for fuel she texted Makita and told her.
That afternoon he was needing a fix but he couldn't do it now the precinct station was bustling. When the crowd died down he was just beginning to snort his Meth when Makita stepped up beside him and cleared her throat. He snorted the as fast as he could and at the same time tried to hide the bag of Meth that he had. Looking into Makita's good eye he saw sadness. Later when Chief Hades walked in Makita painfully told Hades what had transpired that day. Lenova avoided Knuckles because she broke her promis and knew he'd be fuming. On top of that Knuckles had other things on his mind.

Knuckles stood before the judge of family law, the colts he beat up a few months ago stood with their parents. Knuckles was being sued for mauling the colts, he was counter suing because he was defending his daughters. "You fucking bastard you had no right to lay a hoof on our innocent boys!" The parents were screaming at him. "A pony like you shouldn't even have foals of his own!" the court session lastes for several hours, the parents had a canine who works with "Child Protection Services" to come testify. Artemis Hestia walked to the stand and told the court that Knuckles is great father and that he was only doing what any father would. Both Blitz and Lightning parents' were out-raged that she turned on them after paying her 1500 bits to testify against Knuckles and that she ratted them out.

(Disappearing)

Knuckles was able to stay clean for several months after his eight month suspension. No pony knew that he had a stash in his closet in a secret apartment. While his mom and dad kept the girls and Sweetie Belle was not seeing him much anymore. Once he was in his home he entered his home wondering who had entered because his front door was unlocked. He walked slowly down the hallway and stepped into his room, Sweet Belle was seated by on his bed with a very hurt look on her face. Beside her was his stash of Meth and majuana and his rolls of hundred bit notes. "What the hell is this? I thought you said you were clean? Please tell me your not pushing as well are you?"
"none of your business bitch!" he said roughly grabbing the evidence and a duffle bag and booked it to his car and sped off. Glancing in the rear view mirror he saw Sweetie Belle exiting the house and crying. He almost turned around to grab his cell phone that he left behind but changed his mind and kept driving.
He drove out of town and didn't stop until he reached Las Pegasus. He kept a low profile and pushing his product off and was raking in the bits from gambling and dealing. The depression he got after yelling at Sweetie Belle was hitting hard and he started using again. Months passed and his situation was getting worse and worse but he thought he couldn't be saved and he often thought of his fillies and wished that he had been such a failure. He had no idea that hell was gonna break loose.

Chapter 3: Second Relapse

Knuckles was walking past a casino when looking over his shoulder he noticed that a green coupe was following him. Also looking at it he had seen it at every stop he made. The mare driving was cute, but not the type he'd knock up.............besides he was gonna stay celibate until he married Sweetie Belle, that is if she'd have him after what he said to her.
The mare driving had a white coat, and light cotton candy pink mane, shrugging he kept walking. The car was making rounds around the block and he began to realize he was being tailed. He quickened his pace and suddenly the car was gone. Now nervous he looked for a taxi. The car quickly pulled alongside and there was a new driver, the mare with the pink mane leaped out and Knuckles began to run. "Oh shit!" he thought as he ran, back in his army days Redheart had the fastest track time for all the runs they did on the base. For an earth pony she strong and was somehow able to match strength and speed with the pegasi and the bat ponies. They ran for several blocks looking over his shoulder the mare was gone. Slowing his run to a trot he thought he was safe but from his right, a blur of motion caught his eye as he felt something ram him and he and the object hit the pavement.
"Knuckles, I'm bringing you home! No matter what! Your family misses ya, Sweetie Belle is worried sick and your fillies want their dad home."
"Redheart, I can't go home not with what I've done."
"You just hit a rough patch kid, we can help you just let us help damn it!"
After a few minutes of yelling and swearing Redheart had had enough she tackled him and they fought for a good solid 45 minutes when Knuckles shoved Redheart away and tried to go airborne.
Redheart ran as far up a wall as she could and pushed off and she caught Knuckles by his left-wing dislocating it. As they hit the pavement again she straddled him and shoved a syringe into his neck and knocking him out cold.
Last thing Knuckles thought as he blacked out, "Damn she feels good!"
Knuckles woke up in a hospital bed and he was strapped down, and looking around be saw Nurse Redheart asleep by the bed with a few bruises and cuts. Coughing he froze as the petite yet muscular mare stirred. Redheart red-eyed walked just a couple of steps and checked his vitals. "Knuckles Mac Shadow, your still an amazing fighter, but running was never your strong suit." she chuckled and all Knuckles could think about because the sedatives left him a bit loopy, "I want a piece of that flank". Redheart left the room to get some coffee and Sweetie Belle walked in.
"I see Redheart got ya" she smirked, "if anypony can get ya she can. I was worried sick your whole family was worried and still are, you have a Celestia-damned problem and I got you a rehab nurse who can help. I was able to have Makita talked Hades out of firing you. You're getting close to losing your job. I don't wanna lose you neither does your family............. I need to go clock in, but behave yourself rumours are flying that Redheart bought a new toy she's dying to use on a patient." as Sweetie Belle walked out he felt alone, Redheart popped in to check on him. Back in the army days, he had thought that she was hot, and he recalled how Cockburn once said that he'd love to fuck Corp. Redheart senseless and soak her with his semen. Knuckles shuddered as his memories flooded back.
A few weeks later knuckles woke up to having four super cute nurses by his bedside. There was his lovely Sweetie Belle, Nurse Redheart, and the other two he didn't recognize.
Sweetie spoke up, "Knuckles, meet Crystal Meth, she's your drug rehab nurse and it's her job to keep you clean. Then I'll introduce you to Savannah and she's your physical therapist as well as me. We're gonna get you back on your feet." Knuckles was grateful to be free but he noticed that Redheart looked a tad sad. As he left him out of kindness and gratitude that she tracked him down to help save him gave her a small kiss on the cheek and the nurse blushed as he left.

(Rehabilitation)

Knuckles showed up to his orthopedic appointment with Sweetie Belle right on time. She had started him on basic exercises to help build up leg strength. The appointment was successful, but now his wing therapist was ready for him when he got there. Savannah was a cute little zebra mare and for being an earth pony she managed pretty well to roll the wing in directions that it needed to go to help it build strength.
Two months passed and he was walking normally again and even running with his girls and he felt great. He was able to also use his wing a slight bit, the rest of his rehab work involved an apple farmer and two of the best flyers in equestrian history; Captain Spitfire and her wing pony Rainbow Dash.
At first, he was hauling carts filled with apples uphill, but his legs and back got strong, and his Aunt Applejack made sure he started light and got heavier loads as time progressed.
His wing workouts were hell, Spitfire always blew her whistle in his face giving him a heart attack. Rainbow Dash was no easier and between the two pegasi mares, Knuckles was almost crawling into the house. A time came where he heard that Greenfield was going to propose to Makita and a few days later he saw the engagement ring was made from an ultra-strong electro-magnetic ring and it was stuck tight to her cyborg leg.
A few weeks later he was present for Flytrap to propose to Lenova. He was thinking of proposing to Sweetie Belle soon. His dad and uncle were very little help because they told how they proposed and yet. After all, he was so flustered they teased him playfully but it was a couple of weeks and his rehabilitation was going so well and Crystal Meth kept in touch and he was staying clean so far and it has been two months so he bought a ring and got himself ready to go and propose.

Chapter 4: The Question

Knuckles called his family up and asked them to come over, that's when they said they had to pick up his daughter from her friend's place, but what he did not no that sweetie was work with hibiscus to walk on her own and wanted to surprise him with it tonight. "Hello mom can you and dad come over later cause I'm going to ask sweetie a very important question, one more can you call every pony else cause I'm making dinner after I hang up so everything will be perfect." Knuckles asked his mother and she told him yes, he was busy as hell when every pony showed up.
"Knuckles can you come to the door I have a surprise for you," Sweetie asks him and hopes he would love what he was going to see when Knuckles was coming to the door his other six daughter tackles him hugging him cause this was the first time they have seen him since he came home from rehab. "Ok girls get off your father you do want him our surprise don't you, show her in Mrs. Shadow," Sweetie said to them and they got off him, that's when Knuckles looked at the door and seen hibiscus walk by his mother he just took a small step towards her to see if she would let him.

On her shakey back legs she started to walk towards her father and was doing it all on her will power, Knuckles was watching with amazement as she saw her walk right up to him then hugged him. "I missed you dad please don't run away again, and I'm sorry for looking at you with fear," Hibiscus said to her father crying into his shoulder, Knuckles just stood there holding her to let the tears out. The other girls joined the hug with their sister, he wrapped his wings around them to show he was here to stay.

When they got to the dining room he pulled Sweetie's chair out for her and went to the kitchen, Sweetie was on his right of him and the girls let Hibiscus have the chair on the left. When knuckles came back to the Dining room he had flowers and candy for Sweetie Belle and gave them to her, his squad was there and teasing him as well cause Makita and his sister Lenova seen him sweat a bit then whisper into to there colt friends ears and it got to the others within a few minutes. "So Knuckles you cleaned up real good and I bet Sweetie Belle here like that, but on another note, you made all this food cause it smells good," Flytrap said to his so to be brother in law knowing what he wanted to ask some pony in the room, and he knew why he took his time and got her the flowers and candy.

Dinner was over and every pony went to sit down in the living room and Knuckles excuse himself, his mother followed him to his bedroom and seen him walk to his nightstand. "Son is that what I think it is, so you are going to ask her tonight," Star Shadow said to her son and they made their way to back to the living room, every pony in the room and now seen Knuckles was getting more nervous and they were giggling at him.

"The reason I asked every pony here is to ask one question to a very important mare since I'm the last to ask this." Knuckles said to the room and walk over to Sweetie Belle, he kissed her on the cheek and backed up, and took a deep breath. "Sweetie Belle I know that I have a lot of mistakes and don't know if you'll say yes, but here goes for the only mare I know and love in my life that my girls like and I'm on my knees here to ask this, will you marry me even with all the bull shit I have done, so what do you say?" Knuckles asked her as he pulled the ring box out and showed her the ring with a gem the color of her mane.
Sweetie Belle was stunned, today the least but she knew what her answer would be. From seat in Knuckles favorite chair, she leapt off and kissed him and with a high squeal said yes. She with a free hoof gestured to the fillies and they too joined the hug. Hibiscus ran and leapt in. Star and Big Mac, especially Big Mac cried for joy, Shining Armor and Snowflake Obsidian were grinning an stole each other a kiss. Knuckles saw Redheart and Rarity give each other a kiss as well, he had no idea until that evening that Redheart and Rarity were a lesbian couple. Greenfield and Makita snuggled closer, and looking toward Flytrap he saw his friend crying because he was so happy and his sister Lenova playfully an flirtatiously jab his shoulder which only ended in a kiss. Firebrand looked at her nephew with pride, Knuckles had promised her a few weeks ago that if anything were to happen, he'd be the father to her foals. She presented to Knuckles the family heirloom spell books since he was full vampiric bat pony he'd have more use of them. Knuckles and Firebrand knew that they'd have to talk about a recurring dream they shared.
Since they had most if not all the vampiric bat pony genes it also came with foresight. This dream they shared was of a future events.

Chapter 5: Dreams & A Second Wife

It was a cool pleasent night and Knuckles had his window open. He was having a fitful sleep and when awoke he gave start; the dream in of itself wasn't horrible but heart wrenching.
He dreamt that he was at the hospital and Staccato's life hung in the balance with multiple wounds and as it neared the conclusion; a organ and blood donor saved her life but it left him in tears.
He teleketically dialed Firebrand, if anypony could understand, she could. She had groggily answered the phone. Knuckles told her about the dream ad to his surprise she replied in shock.
"You're having the same dream as I am! I know I'm only fifty percent vampire bat pony and your full vampire bat pony and you're supposed to have the gift of foresight. Why I do is beyond me. All I know is this; some point in the future no matter what we do prevent it Staccato will end up in the hospital cuz it's fate, and the donor we'll never know until the day falls upon us. So for now don't fret yourself senselessly, it'll all fit together. So try to get some sleep, okay my favorite nephew..............your grandparents would be so proud of you.......and I love you."
As he hung up he had a gut feeling that told him he'll lose Firebrand, shrugging the feeling off he fell asleep again. When he awoke it was with a start, he barely opened his eyes when he saw a blurred mass aiming right for the bed, before he could react he was smothered in hug. Very shocked and awake he saw his daughters staring at him expectantly. It was breakfast time. He began to make breakfast when the doorbell rang. His wing therapist made a house call for the appointment, which to him was odd. Savannah seemed down as well he noticed. So he asked, "What's bothering ya' today Savannah? You seem............down, before you tell me, "nothing" let me remind you, I'll figure it out or hear about somehow."
"Okay Knuckles, I just got kicked from the house because I have a job. As you know, in our tribe dignitaries and their children aren't supposed to have middle-class jobs like what you or I do. However, it was my calling and now I have no home; funny thing is my father didn't disinherit me as his soul heir. I'm looking for a place temporarily to live until I can find a place.............heard from Sweetie Belle that you two just got engaged and she asked me to ask you if I can use the guest room until I figure my life out."
Knuckles gave her the guest room but felt like something was up but he didn't know what. In addition to feeling something was up, he felt like ponies are going to gossiping about him and Savannah sleeping together.

[Time Lapse 5 months]

Time past by, Knuckles was best stallion for both Greenfield and Flytrap. For Makita (with Lenova's help) bought all the newest equipment to insure that Makita would never be taken down again. Her equipment included such things as:

For Lenova he had found her old laptop that Makita had confiscated on their first day of boot camp and it had little battery life left.
He now had to plan for his own Wedding to Sweetie Belle. Things were going smoothly and without any problems. Many ponies wondered what would become of Savannah now? Knuckles was completely floored as Sweetie walked down the aisle with her entoruage of flower fillies and Hibiscus walking down on her own. He was crying and his groomsmen stallions were trying really hard to not snicker........... everypony except Sky Eye who leaned in and whispered, "Let it out bro. you have the right to cry for joy.........you got the perfect girl and amazing daughters." In the crowd of guests he saw two black ad purple ponies in the back; he knew Obsidian and Nightshade well.
Come to think of it, they showed up a few moments before Granny Smith died, and the day he left for boot camp............the day his grandparents died. He began to worry, who was gonna die in his family? After the ceremony Knuckles and Sweetie Belle made their rounds, when it came to the dancing, specifically the father and daughter dance and also the mother and son dances he saw Sweetie's father cry a good deal. When he danced with Star Shadow his mother, it was very sweet.

[Time lapse 3 years]

Knuckles was at work and buried in paperwork, Sweetie Belle took Savannah to Canterlot to talk to the princesses.
Their hooves clicked on the well polished marble floors, the stained glass shimmered as the light passed through it. They entered the throne room and when they courtsied Sweetie began her inquiries, "Your majesties, if I may ask? I would like to inquire laws about marriage and having more than one wife?"
Celestia gestured for Luna to speak since she had been the one to update the laws. "As of days of old one could only have spouse, but as of late and since I have an army of thestrals in my ranks and in my employment I needed t update the laws. It was because of the threstral laws of yore and by their very species, for if a threstral stallion has come into a situation to aid a mare by housing or protection he is duty bound to marry her as to provide constant provision and protection. If one does not perform his duties, he was to be astrosized by his fellow thestral stallions until he does his duty.
I presume Sweetie Belle you are asking for your friend here?"
"Yes my princess, I do ask for her."
"Ah, I see. Speak thou zebra!" Luna in the moment forgot not to use her Royal Canterlot voice and Savannah trembled but yet let out a squeak of terror.
"You see a few years back I was assigned by Nurse Redheart to help Knuckles rehabilitate his left wing. Well I developed feelings for him and by the time I worked up the courage to act upon my feelings he was engaged to Sweetie Belle. That was just a couple of weeks before my parents kicked me from the house because I was working and "ponies of our social standing are above working middle-class jobs" or so my mother said. So if fate would have it, Sweetie here sent me to Knuckles who had at that time a spare room and in which I'm still living rent free. The reason why we're here is obvious, so if we can have a document to present to Knuckles then we'll be on our way..........if only it's not too much trouble?"
Luna presented a copy of the needed documents and signed them and placed her Royal seal. Dinner time arrived and the Fillies who now were considered to be young mares helped in the kitchen. Their toddler bat pony son and daughter played in their play pin, Vivacé kept an on him. When Knuckles came through the door he saw the paperwork with Luna's seal upon it. Sweetie and Savannah looks at each other pensively, Knuckles read it, since he knew Sweetie Belle was okay with it because they had long night talks about his duties as a bat pony stallion. He pulled from his coat pocket and proposed to Savannah.
Since she had known him for a long time they got married a few weeks later. As they began to look for a larger house, Savannah got pregnant a few months later with twins as well.
Let it be known that bat pony stallions have it in their DNA to get their wives pregnant very quickly and have some unique gifts such as making themselves cold blooded so ponies hunting them can't find them using heat signature seeking technology and live to several hundred years old and still be as active as a young stallion.

chapter 6: Camping and News

Knuckles was being the father of 11 and it was showing, his two set of twin foals were crying and he walked to go see what was wrong. His son was hungry for a bottle of milk which knuckles had to warm up, and that's when everything went wrong for him and he just pass out in their room. "Sweetie calls Knuckles parents and has them come over please, he passed out again trying to do more than he can," Savannah asked Sweetie to do then seen her twins cuddling to their father and his wings to cover them, a few minutes Knuckles family and squad showed up but were quiet and Savannah showed them where he was sleeping and his father and uncle saw the bag under his only good eye.

They went to the kitchen and all sat down Sweetie and Savannah got every pony some coffee, but his father was proud of his son for what he was doing for his foals. "That it he needs a break to relax, Shining and you three we are taking him on a boys weekend, girls that is if you don't mind do you?" Big mac asked the girls asked then told them he would well check on him while they were thinking, Sweetie and Savannah thought for a bit then had their answer but waited for Big. Mac to get back. Savannah her twins start to think when she heard her twins cry, When she got there she smelled the air and knew they need changes and ask her father-in-law to change one and she would do the other.

Knuckles woke up and seen his second wife with his dad changing the twin's after he got up the twins wanted their father again so he walked over to the changing table. "there are two of my girls who are cute, sorry for passing out their sweetheart." Knuckles said to Savannah then seen his father there, Knuckles pick up his two daughters then put them on his back then they yawned and went to sleep on his back. When they all got to the kitchen Star Shadow went over to her grand foals and pick them up, then knuckles went to his chair at the table and Sweetie got him a coffee then kissed him on the cheek then sat down. "So why is every pony here it's not Sunday dinner night is it, or this because I've been passing out lately and sorry girls but I think I need-" Knuckles passed out again and was sleeping peacefully, Sweetie with his mother went to go pack his things while Savannah was watching the foals. His father and uncle help get him to his bed, they talked about a spot on the mountain where it was good for camping.

It was the next morning and Knuckles was wondering why he had his camping gear by the door, that's when he has seen his wife in the kitchen getting the kids ready for the day. "Knuckles me and Savannah think you need to go away on a guys weekend, and Alamadine whats is it you want now," Sweetie said then looked at her son but knew what he wanted, Alamdine bit his lower lip thinking on how to ask. Knuckles left to have a quick shower while he was washing his mane out when he heard a knock at the bathroom door.

"Let me get a towel first wrapped around me then I'll be out." Knuckles said when he had the towel on him on open the door to see his son standing, Alamadine looked up at his father and told him to ask his mothers if he could go with him on the guy's weekend. "You can come but you know we are hiking to the camping spot, so go get packed and I'll tell your mother's this can be a father-son camping trip as well." Knuckles said to his son who was happy about his answer, after he got ready and went to the kitchen and told his wife he was taking their son was coming they were ok with him cause they had an all-girls weekend planned which he raised an eyebrow to.

A couple of hours later his father showed up with the guy's and they saw his son, Alamadine ran up to his grandfather and hugged him then told him he was coming along. Flytrap was about to say something but Greenfield kicked him in his leg, Knuckles nodded at Greenfield. "This weekend is going to be fun right guy's, and no mare weekend just stallions only a right little one," Big Mac said to his grandson who was putting his stuffed toy in his bag, Sweetie gave a phone to Knuckles just in case she needed to get a hold of him.

"Oh Knuckles did you hear about Redheart and rarity, they broke up cause Rarity won some new stallion over guess she is single now," Shining said to his nephew watching him closely to see what he would do, Knuckles wing flutter a bit into the shape of a heart, and got a smile on his face thinking about her. They all were laughing at him but Alamadine told them to stop doing that, Knuckles shook his head clear then told them to stuff it and they were on their way.

It was a few hour's of a hike up the mountain to get to the spot and Knuckles was carrying his sleeping son on his back, Big Mac took his grand son's bag up at the halfway mark. "So when I'm going to see you two have kids Flytrap and Greenfield, cause I won't care if they are adopted foal's," Knuckles said looking at his sleep son and nudge him awake cause he wanted him to walk the rest of the way. He yawned and got on the ground and walked the rest of the way, when they got there they started to set up the camp and there. Almandine put his dad's tent up cause he wanted to share with him, Knuckles was doing the first night's cooking and they all loved when they were done eating they went to their tents It was the middle of the night when knuckles woke up in a cold sweat cause he had the dream again about his daughter, and everyone was getting sick and throwing up. "What's going on why are you guys getting sick, oh no son are you ok." Knuckles said then ran to their tent and seen him getting sick, he went for the phone to call the girls but ended up throwing up. That went on for the whole night and day, Knuckles was doing his best when he heard voices behind him and saw it was the girls.
Knuckles was very elated to have the girls show up when they did, but his self-image was ruined when he puked with absolutely no gracefulness at all. Redheart rolled her eyes and she dug through her gear and their food stash. "Who the fuck picked this foliage!" Flytrap shrank back and as did Greenfield.
Makita snapped her to the pair guessing the culprit she pointed to Greenfield. She had taught her troops back in the army days to identify poisonous foliage, Greenfield had never been camping in a"rough it or die" scenario. Redheart luckily brought stuff that would cause a pony to cleanse their digestive tract and GI system.
The next few days we're a disgusting hell of a few days. Redheart managed to get everyone to stop puking and gave hardtack and water. Flytrap, Knuckles, and Shining Armor felt like it was boot camp all over again.............including forced hikes to get them back in shape.
During this time Knuckles began to develop feelings for his army nurse. He told Sweetie Belle and Savannah about this development. They told him to ask Redheart to take her on a date, he did so and he was awed by her.

[The Date]

Knuckles walked up a flight of stairs of a sketchy apartment building, looking over his shoulder he saw a stallion watching him. He knocked and waited, Redheart soon opened and he was floored, she was gorgeous in the casual but tasteful dress with a pair of earrings and matching neckless; the dress was a floral print with a peasant top neckline. As they walked back down the stairs, the aforementioned stallion whistled and let out a catcall. Redheart snapped, "I told you to quit harassing me stupid cunt! My date happens to be a cop, and if I gave the word he and his team could wipe the apartment with your fucking carcass! Furthermore, I just might tell him what business you're in............so if I were you, back off!"
They walked in silence for a few minutes and Knuckles knew that Redheart was tough and had an edge but what he just witnessed was astounding.
"Sorry Knuckles for going off like that, but I just had it with him.............he and his friends have knocked up at least a quarter of the mares int his building but the precinct this apartment is in don't listen. If I may ask can you see if Hades can help you take that perv down?" Knock nodded and drove her to her favorite restaurant.
The night went smoothly and since it was late Knuckles brought her to his home and Sweetie Belle and Savannah doted on her and Redheart felt embarrassed. The next morning Knuckles and Hades led The team from top to bottom of Redheart's apartment building and several arrests were made and a few tenants had been shot down. Among some very grotesque and distasteful pictures, we're found they found a meth lab, and an underage prostitution ring was run through that building.
After a few months of successful dates, Knuckles told his wives that he wanted to marry Redheart and add her to the family. Sweetie and Savannah both said the night he brought her home signed that it was now His duty to do so. He saved her from a horrid situation now he must pony up and marry her.

Chapter 7: Testing and Courting Trouble

Knuckles and his friends met at Greenfield's testing facility, confused they walked into the testing building they were gonna be using. It was set up like a shooting range and like a large four-city block combat zone. Makita walked up.
Makita showed up looking like she had too many margaritas. Greenfield was looking over a list with Lenova:

"We're going to be testing the new tech we upgraded you with and while Lenova and I are watching the vital stats the rest of you and a special guest will be doing the combat." As if on cue a green car pulled up, Knuckles recognized the vehicle.............Redheart. She stepped out flicking out a pair of aviators and to Knuckles, she looked hot; and across her shoulder was slung a shotgun. The team was shown to a staging room to prep their gear.
Knuckles watched Redheart unload massive darts and replace them with training slugs. Everypony used training rounds that marked their target. Once they were set Makita was placed at one end and the others were placed at the other. An alarm sounded and phase 1 of a 3 phase test run began. They were going to be testing Makita's sensors and for and x-ray vision. They found Makita in a dark building and they were about to move in when she whipped around and yelled, "Nice try Sky Eye!"
Sky Eye charged and he ended the charge sliding on his back like a tortoise on ice. Flytrap, Knuckles, Holly, Sunrise, and Sky Eye blitzed it. Ponies went sliding around and Redheart was an amazing fighter for being an earth pony.
She was cool, calm, collected, and calculating and she was able to keep Makita busy but she too eventually tapped out. Knuckles didn't want to quit so he went as a lone gun and charged.
Makita whipped around as he flew for her and she kicked his abdomen and he hit the floor with a thud. Straddling him she had him pinned, and he said the dumbest thing possible.
"Damn you weigh a ton! Like a yak, remind to tell Pinkie Pie to quit selling you those muffins you love." She launched skyward and in doing so pushed the air from his lungs. Stunned, Knuckles rolled over and crawled to join the others.
Phase 2, was testing combat skills. They prepared to have their asses handed to them again. Flytrap made a similar mistake to his brother-in-law, "Makita I know you like Knuckles and all but please ride him later?" The bell sounded. First one Makita kicked a car into sent Flytrap flying into a wall, Sky Eye tackled Makita and using her wing propellers flipped onto her back knocking the wind out of him. Everypony couldn't keep Makita down. The start of phase 3 was about to start, and Makita gestured Knuckles and Flytrap over to where she sat.
"This is guns testing, so for you're jokes you'll be paying dearly..........I hope you got good insurance policies."
Just like that, she trotted off happily. The bell sounded for the final time for a test to start. Makita came swooping from 12 o'clock high and opened fire with the twelve 9mm guns in her wings first one down and out was Sky from, just because he forgot that Makita always swooped in from that position and banked around to come in a 3 o'clock position. Makita lit up Holly and Sunrise with spray paint from the flame throwers.
Sputtering and cursing Holland and Sunrise spat corn starch-based paint everywhere. Shining Armor and Hades showed up to watch the show and Big Mac as well, it was down to Flytrap and Knuckles now. "I don't know why she's holding back? She has enough firepower to wipe them all out in a single pass.........." She never finished her sentence when she swooped in and lit Flytrap up and left running and screaming like a filly covered in welts. Knuckles gave it his all but realized Makita had held back for this moment. He let out a bat pony squeak as the lights went out. For him to be able to use his echolocation he'd have to keep a constant squeak to see. Without warning, he felt himself get pelted from thousands of marking training rounds. As he ran for cover he felt a large hit him from the front and slam into his leg and breaking it...........again. Then a second large projectile slammed into his crotch.
As he lay in the hospital bed Redheart smirked, "Nice fight recruit, but next time..........don't make bad jokes. By the way down the hall, Flytrap is being treated for broken ribs." Sweetie and Savannah and the girls looked at him. They were planning something.
When they left to right visit Flytrap, they discussed a bet. "I bet 2,000 bits that after Knuckles recovers that he'd never be in the same bed with you."
"Flytrap, you know that our husband would never cheat on us, how bout 3,000 that hed sleep with her but never actually fuck her........."
"Mother, are you betting that dad would "fuck" a friend when you're in the same house? What is fucking anyway?" Sweetie Belle froze, shed forgotten that her young teen daughters we're with her

[9 weeks later]

Redheart was helping Knuckles paint the garage door, she looked a bit nervous But Knuckles never asked why. Covered with paint they finished the job and went inside and everypony inside was smirking.
As they went into the hallway they were wrapped in magic and unceremoniously shoved into the master bedroom and the door locked behind them. Moaning he heard laughing and he knew he had been set up. Knuckles took a cold shower and he was out in 2 minutes and as Redheart was about to go clean up she swore up a storm, all her apparel was in her room all knuckles had to offer was a shirt that was 3 sizes to big for her. Sweetie Belle and Savannah conveniently pulled their clothing out to wash. A few minutes later Redheart appeared in his shirt and looked kinda sexy with the oversized shirt and her mane hanging down in a loose braid.
After being fed via having food teleported to them they ate. Realizing they only had one bed they sat looking at each other awkwardly. "Redheart, you can have the bed I'll sleep on the floor."
"I can't just do that! As the master of the house, you sleep on the bed I'll take the floor. There's a running bet that we won't sleep together...........and I agreed to the wager..........under duress. I'm not a homewrecker, it was Flytrap's idea. And your wives bet on us as well."
"Look, I know we're the same age, and you're the youngest nurse in your position. If we did you know fuck and all that you'd be pregnant in 3 months."

As they lay on separate halves of the bed they looked at the ceiling praying that they'd keep from having sex that night. When morning came the whole family quietly looked in and saw the pair cuddled up. Sweetie Belle deliberately made the house so cold to drive them to that point. Pictures were taken and Sweetie with not much warning screamed, "Knuckles Mac Shadow!" Knuckles bolted upright and Redheart followed suit, pulling up the blanket over them. Everypony was laughing hysterically.
When Knuckles saw the photos later he blushed and later learned that during the campout his dad took pictures of his cock and sent them to Redheart. Redheart was equally embarrassed.
"Now Knuckles, there is a legal matter you have to tend to. Because the night you brought home Redheart and cleaned her building out and saved her from those pervs and gave her a home here you are legally bound by bat pony law and Luna's laws; you are required to marry Redheart, besides we all know you have feelings for her. So ask her.
A few weeks later Knuckles took Redheart to the hospital and took her to the old nurse station where she worked when she saved his eye and was there for Hibiscus and Makita. He knelt and proposed to her. Redheart tackled him and screamed, "Yes I will!" Their courtship was trouble, between his snarky mouth and her love of pranking; ponies said that either one was courting trouble.

Chapter 8: Trial

Knuckles ad the team were very successful and got promoted to detective. They were investigating a series of rapes, and found a few fatalities. The one connection for several were they they were students who were taught by a unicorn named Snare. Knuckles brought Makita, and put in a call to a pony named Sparks to assist on an interview. When they pulled up to the house or was locked by turning his head he saw his suspect trotting up.
"Excuse me Snare but I got a few questions for you. First off, my friends and I are investing a series of rape cases and some of the victims were students of yours. We have a crippled pegasus we found drowned three miles from you day job, and a unicorn named Pixie Dust a griffin that was raped senseless just outside of the school. Have you noticed any suspicious ponies or creatures hanging around?"
"Not that I've seen"
"Sparks need to ask anything?"
Sparks spoke up, "Does the name Strawberry mean anything to you?" Snare hastily answered no. When they left, they drove to a coffee shop to get coffee.
The next several months was filled with interviews leads, and dead ends. Feeling defeated the tea sat at their desks at the precinct. Suddenly they were rolling out to a 9-1-1 call about a filly being raped. When they got there the filly was barely breathing, a dark unicorn was trying to slow the death and the perp got away. Knuckles knew that their city had ten pegasus that looked like the perpetrator.
The filly had been rushed to the hospital, the parents were being questioned and Makita did scans of the area and happened to scan an earth pony named Strawberry or so her scanner said and a missing pony report shot up and Makita ran an age progression tech over the picture of the filly it had to the pony her scanner saw and it was a perfect match. Makita showed Sparks and Knuckles. Snare was suddenly hoof-cuffed and shoved into a squad car and taken to be booked.

[Life is Precious]

Strawberry sat and cried, her world was falling apart, her filly was hanging by a thread, and the stallion she spent most of her life with has been arrested and her mind went back to the dark unicorn who tried her best to slow her daughter's death. Redheart was brought in, as a combat medic she was skilled in removing bullets. She and her team worked quickly but the heart monitor gave the ominous steady beeeeeeep.
"Celestia-damn it!" Screeched Redheart she did everything to try to get the heart beat going to no avail. Even Makita's new heart defibrillator didn't help. In a rage Redheart punched the monitor, she just needed just ten more minutes and they would've been out of the woods. Strawberry broke down and cried, the dark unicorn stood beside her,silent like a grave. The two mares sat silently, Strawberry just cried into the stranger's shoulder. Then it clicked in her mind, this mare had been talked about, this mare always without fail appeared when a pony either was going to die or could possibly die.

[At the Station]

"Come on Snare just admit it you are a filly-fooler and you know it!"
Snare just sat there head in his hooves, he knew when his trial came he'd be a dead pony. He thought of all of his victims. Looking up he asked, "Can I have a pencil and paper?"
The officer questioning him shoved the required items but Snare didn't write. The cop slammed him into the wall. "Write damn it! Listen fucking cunt! Ponies like you deserve to be damned to Tartarus for a life under extreme torture...........I have half the mind to torture you myself right now!" Knuckles and Makita saw what was going down and they galloped to the room and pulled the officer out. Knuckles stood in the room now glaring.
Snare began to write, after an hour he slid the paper over; Knuckles looked at and was appalled. On it were the names of everypony he raped or had killed after the rape complete with a full confession. Knuckles didn't know it was gonna be this easy. Suddenly his phone rang. He answered it.
"Hey dear, tell Snare they his filly didn't make it............I tried everything up here to save her............it was horrible, you have no idea what it's like having a filly die in your arms asking for her parents. Strawberry barely had the chance to say good bye. Also Strawberry told me with a complete recording with the talk between us. Snare did rape her and also............had sex with his own daughter, it kept it only to blow jobs though. I have no fucking idea how he contained himself, and he did it every six weeks and only for 30 minute increments. But I do have a lead on a drug lord named Pot, he uses teens like your daughter Cherry Blossom to push his product, you've met his daughter already; her name's Crystal Meth."
Knuckles laughed it off cuz he knew Cherry would never do drugs or so he thought. But the info he knew was legit. However with Snare's leads, and his cooperation and the fact he took care of his pets up to where cupcake died made him wonder if he could convince the princesses to let him redeem him.

[The Trial]

It was three weeks after Cupcake's funeral the trial was held. Snare didn't lawyer up because he knew he was guilty as fuck and prayed that he'd get s hefty sentence. He was seated by a purple alicorn who took the task of being his lawyer. Looking back he saw Knuckles with his family and mostly his victims or the mothers of them. And on the far side sat a pink earth pony being the lawyer for the victims.
Three alicorns walked down the center of the room, he knew them he saw Cadence and she glared daggers of hate toward him; then there was Celestia she towered over the other ponies in the room and she looked like she wanted to stab her horn through him. Taking up the rear was Luna herself, she actually spat on his face, and he didn't care anymore. He had been depressed and Knuckles was kind enough to talk to him for some reason.
Luna spoke first since most of his worse crimes were done during the night. "Snare, you swear to tell the whole truth?"
"I do, I got nothing to lose or to hide."
" You know that everypony in this room knows why you're here. How do you please?" Snare felt small looking up and craning his neck up at the raised dais.
"Guilty your majesty, as you know by now I've given full confession and all i ask is that you give me your worst for my crimes." The trial wore on with testimony after testimony. Snare was sentenced to life in prison, but Knuckles rose up and and asked private audience with the princesses.
[Audience]
"Your majesties, may I offer a deal?"
"What pray tell is it Knuckles?"
Knuckles continued, "You know that but can turn ponies back into foals again, let me do that with Snare and Strawberry? I did some digging and her parents are dead and no next of kin, so may turn her to a young teen mare and Snare to a teenaged stallion, wipe their memories of the past and raise them as my own? For Cupcake, I have the vampiric magic and power to raise her from the dead via a bite. Staccato has changed for the better, please let me redeem him and adopt all 3?"
"The idea has appeal, I see that thou hast spoken with him for several weeks and he's changed. Tia, Cadence dost thou agree with the arrangements?" The other nodded but Cadence felt reserved and Twilight whole heartedly agreed.

[Back in Session]

When the new sentence was announced it took a while SWAT team and Makita to calm everypony down. The victims and mares when heard why this decision was made and it made sense to them.

Chapter 9: Redemption

The next morning after the trial, Knuckles stood where Cupcake had been buried. Snare and Strawberry were there as well. The princesses unburied the coffin and lifted it out. A large crowd gathered to watch and several news crews began rolling cameras.
Knuckles lifted the coffin lid off and the smell of decay almost floored him. He opened his mouth and bit down on Cupcake's neck. Redheart had been asked to hook up a heart monitor so after Knuckles had bitten a few seconds passed and it began to give a steady beep. Cupcake woke up and had gotten help to get out of the coffin.
Knuckles sang the same he used for Staccato.

"Oh, thou that dost move on,
Let me pray to gather those
Who needs another chance
Give them the gift of lore
Give them a second chance
For redemption for them to have
I here today, at this time do proclaim
A second chance thou shalt have!
I turn you now, back to where ye came
Return thou to a foal."

Before everyponyies' eyes, they saw the two ponies shrink down to foals and with another spell wiped their memories as well as Cupcake's.
Knuckles after the ordeal and the trial ended there he took his family to get lunch. Vivacè and Staccato wanted hay burgers, Alamadine & Snare wanted just to eat pie for lunch; Demeter, Tethys & Coeus wanted to get lunch at Sugar Cube Corner. Hibiscus, Night glider and Evening Joy were flexible. His wives and fiancé just followed his lead. The family went with hay burgers. Knuckles had the rest of the family meet them at a burger joint in town. As they ate, the other patrons were smirking and snickering as they watched Coeus trying to get her siblings to be more civil. Which only met a straw wrapper being shot at her. Things settled down and lunch became peaceful.

[1 year later]

Knuckles and his dad stood in a room with Shining Armor trying to help the other groomsmen prep for the wedding. Knuckles was gonna be marrying Redheart, he didn't know why he was so nervous he'd done this a couple of times. "Look, son, I know your nervous and all but don't be. Redheart has seen what kind of pony you are, and your failures; she's not a shallow mare, she is more interested in what's underneath and in the heart than what ponies see on the outside."
"Thanks dad, I just want you to know that I do my best to make you and mom proud..........."
"We were proud of you the day you were born. We knew you'd do great things, come on let's finish you up and get you out there!" the ceremony was very sweet and as the music began Redheart slowly began her walk down the aisle. Cupcake being the youngest was the flower filly and she was adorable. Knuckles daughters were bridesmares.
Knuckles never had seen Redheart in such an astounding and jaw dropping dress before. During the vows Knuckles forgot what he had rehearsed and wrote down so he had to improvise.
"Redheart, they I met you was the day I realized you had a huge heart driven to give your all to those you cared about. You've seen my best and worst and yet you were there to catch my falls lift me up again. I give you this day a vow. I Knuckles Mac Shadow vow to you, I will love and cherish you like a fine jewel and hold you close until death do we part I give you this ring as a token of my vow." Knuckles slid around Redheart's neck his grandmother Amathyst's ring.
" Oh shit! I forgot to even write vow! Damn it Redheart how could you forget? Well steady filly, here goes! " Redheart thought as she felt nervous. Redheart found her voice and began:
"Knuckles Mac Shadow, the day you arrived into my life, I thought you were just some crazy punk private who would just give and go home when things got tough, but you proved me wrong. I had as you guess fell in love with the stallion who brought in fillies he had rescued and raised as his own, quick to administer justice and also show a loving and kind heart. That's when I knew I wanted to marry you. I Redheart give you this vow, I vow with my very being and every heartbeat until I breath my last I will always be there to catch you, if you stumble, and to raise you up if you fall. Hurricane, Feather Dancer and Gale Winds were placed in the center. Knuckles say at his desk in Sparks agency, the whole team was there waiting for Hazel who had told them that she found a lead to where Lily Shade was. Lily shade had been missing for four years, and her younger sister Cherry Blossom had begun using illegal drugs. Knuckles was doing to his best to keep from losing her as well.
Hazel burst through the door out of breath. "I found Lily Shade! She's running with Silver-Bullet, that Mafia Boss Clyde Mentioned. I saw her there myself at his warehouse, he's not just selling drugs but he is also selling military weapons and he's also in the sex trafficking business. The team geared up and called Hades to bring back up. Knuckles and Sparks realized that shit could go down in flames. "You know them? Also, how do you know them?"
"They're from Ponyville, and they showed when my mom died." Knuckles had a bad hurt feeling and his dream was coming back again.

[Sweet Treat]

They crept up to the warehouse and we're passing by a donut shop when Makita and Greenfield suddenly paused by one of its dumpsters, they heard a small cry. Her abodmen had the scar where an object had impaled her. Her newest mark was where a griffin had his talons penetrate her flesh. She was showing signs that her life was slipping away; Knuckles and Makita rushed her to the hospital and we able to stabilize her.

[Silver-Bullet]

They had found the mole on the precinct and jailed him, now they were going for a bigger fish, Silver-Bullet himself. They rolled up to his new base of operations and they saw Lily Shade with him and she looked defiant, but her body language said that she was a broken mare. Knuckles almost lost it when he saw Cherry Blossom limping after Lily and Silver.

Hades was able to get the SWAT team to stand down and Knuckles had to rush Lily Shade and he found out that the pony who Silver-Bullet shot was Staccato. The third pony that had tackled Lily was to his surprise was that pony he and Makita found a few weeks ago.

[Loss]

To save Staccato she was needing a new heart and lungs, in addition a ton of blood but there was no organs to be found that matched her blood type. Knuckles saw his wife Redheart trying her best to keep Staccato stable. When Redheart's shift ended, he saw her reflection sitting in a chair behind him somewhere. After 72 hours the scene behind him had changed. Firebrand was hugging everypony and he didn't care about why. His eldest daughter was hanging in the balance and there was nothing he could do.
Firebrand tried to hug him but he had pushed her away. Before she walked off she slid a letter by him and walked away.
Knuckles woke up to hear the heart monitor beeping and his daughter with several stitches, looking at somepony he asked what had happened. They told him that he slept for 48 hours and in that time Staccato had surgery. She was gonna make it. That moth-pony bandaged up looked a nervous and she gestured to the dark unicorn watching the scene.
"Where's Firebrand? I gotta tell her Staccato is gonna be fine." His whole family he then noticed had been crying a ton. Not getting it, his ears picked up the sound of the heart beat in Staccato's chest...........it's rythym was like Firebrand's..........picking up the letter she left him he read it.

If you're reading this then I must be dead
I gave my heart and lungs to save your prescious Cherry blossom, also can you take of of my twins they need a good father to raise them. Remember I love you and the whole family..............your grandfather Alamadine ad your grandmother Amathsyt would be so proud of you, Granny Smith would also be very proud, goodbye favorite nephew."
Knuckles broke down, when had she left? That unicorn and her daughter stepped up beside him and he asked the room, "When did this happen?"
"Knuckles Mac Shadow, I'm Obsidian and this is my daughter Nightshade, please let my daughter show you what had transpired that led to this point." All he could do to respond was nod.
He was appalled and angered at himself for pushing Firebrand away. He cried even more that the last memory Firebrand had of him was pushing her away. Lily Shade had recovered from her bullet wounds and she was very sore and stiff from being bed ridden for a serval weeks, somehow she managed to have only a relatively small number of bullets hit her body a total of fifteen had hit her. She was lucky to be alive and she had also heard the news about Firebrand and see felt like it was all her fault, she kept blaming herself for months.

Greenfield nervously shuffled his hooves in a circular motion, "Hey, um........Makita thanks for saving my life a few days ago, and donating the blood that you had."
"I had to, you risked yours for mine, and Knuckles here donated as well since he in his own words, "owed" it to me since it helped save the life of one of his daughters. " as the three ponies sat and talked while the others trotted up to join them. Makita didn't look into Sweetie's eyes because her orders were short walks and with a registered rehab nurse. Knuckles chuckled at the reprimand, but he wasn't off the hook either Sweetie had told him the exact e thing since the leg Flytrap broke a few months ago was getting worse in the amount of pain it acquired if he walked too much.
While Sweetie Belle lectured both of them, Nurse Redheart walked up with a look of displeasure. "Greenfield, I told you to stay out in your room and I'll be back to check your vitals! Here I find out you'd been tackled and hunting a patient down, you should know about privacy disclosure because of you trade dealing with computers and the insurance industry. Knuckles began the preparations for dinner, his family were coming over and a few others had been invited. Looking up she saw Blitz straddling her and glaring at her, Lightning was standing by her head, both colts had a look of lust in their eyes and as she opened her mouth to scream Lightning shoved his cock into her mouth to shut her up. Chapter 2: Spiralling

That night was a quiet one after everypony else left for the night. Stumbling from his bed he rummaged in the cabinet above the sink in the restroom. Opening the bottle of prescription drug pain killers he slugged four pills down and he began to feel drowsy but the pain of knowing that he terrified his fillies was numbed for now.
When he woke the next morning, he got breakfast and drove to work. Still drowsy he began to file his work away and began his daily routine. He saw his squad watching him, he felt like Makita knew he had the night before slugged a total of 12 pills.

Knuckles was sprawled out on the bedroom floor with his bottle of prescription drug pain killers emptied of its contents, and nearby was a syringe that he had used, on the kitchen counter he had snorted a whole 5 kilos of Meth, and to top it all off he smoked enough pot to get him stoned for 72 hours.
His squad car was at the station and in his drugged up state Knuckles mentally knew they Makita was gonna clean it out and thank Celestia he didn't have his stash easy to find.
Several days later he was driving his squad car with his partner for the day, his sister Lenova. The latter was digging in the glove box for a pen when she felt small plastic bags taped to the interior, pulling them out the was appalled, to say the least.
"Knuckles, is this meth?"
Knuckles sweating now swallowed hard, he slowly nodded his head yes. "Promise me Makita you won't tell mom and dad or anypony for that matter," Lenova promised, but she was planning to do so. When they stopped for fuel she texted Makita and told her.
That afternoon he was needing a fix but he couldn't do it now the precinct station was bustling. When the crowd died down he was just beginning to snort his Meth when Makita stepped up beside him and cleared her throat. He snorted the as fast as he could and at the same time tried to hide the bag of Meth that he had. Looking into Makita's good eye he saw sadness. Later when Chief Hades walked in Makita painfully told Hades what had transpired that day. Lenova avoided Knuckles because she broke her promis and knew he'd be fuming. On top of that Knuckles had other things on his mind.

Knuckles stood before the judge of family law, the colts he beat up a few months ago stood with their parents. Knuckles was being sued for mauling the colts, he was counter suing because he was defending his daughters. "You fucking bastard you had no right to lay a hoof on our innocent boys!" The parents were screaming at him. "A pony like you shouldn't even have foals of his own!" the court session lastes for several hours, the parents had a canine who works with "Child Protection Services" to come testify. Artemis Hestia walked to the stand and told the court that Knuckles is great father and that he was only doing what any father would. Both Blitz and Lightning parents' were out-raged that she turned on them after paying her 1500 bits to testify against Knuckles and that she ratted them out.

Knuckles was able to stay clean for several months after his eight month suspension. No pony knew that he had a stash in his closet in a secret apartment. While his mom and dad kept the girls and Sweetie Belle was not seeing him much anymore. Once he was in his home he entered his home wondering who had entered because his front door was unlocked. He walked slowly down the hallway and stepped into his room, Sweet Belle was seated by on his bed with a very hurt look on her face. Beside her was his stash of Meth and majuana and his rolls of hundred bit notes. "What the hell is this? I thought you said you were clean? Please tell me your not pushing as well are you?"
"none of your business bitch!" he said roughly grabbing the evidence and a duffle bag and booked it to his car and sped off. Glancing in the rear view mirror he saw Sweetie Belle exiting the house and crying. He almost turned around to grab his cell phone that he left behind but changed his mind and kept driving.
He drove out of town and didn't stop until he reached Las Pegasus. He kept a low profile and pushing his product off and was raking in the bits from gambling and dealing. The depression he got after yelling at Sweetie Belle was hitting hard and he started using again. Months passed and his situation was getting worse and worse but he thought he couldn't be saved and he often thought of his fillies and wished that he had been such a failure. He had no idea that hell was gonna break loose.

Chapter 3: Second Relapse

Knuckles was walking past a casino when looking over his shoulder he noticed that a green coupe was following him. Also looking at it he had seen it at every stop he made. The mare driving was cute, but not the type he'd knock up.............besides he was gonna stay celibate until he married Sweetie Belle, that is if she'd have him after what he said to her.

"Oh shit!" he thought as he ran, back in his army days Redheart had the fastest track time for all the runs they did on the base. For an earth pony she strong and was somehow able to match strength and speed with the pegasi and the bat ponies. They ran for several blocks looking over his shoulder the mare was gone. Slowing his run to a trot he thought he was safe but from his right, a blur of motion caught his eye as he felt something ram him and he and the object hit the pavement.
"Knuckles, I'm bringing you home! No matter what! Your family misses ya, Sweetie Belle is worried sick and your fillies want their dad home."
"Redheart, I can't go home not with what I've done."
"You just hit a rough patch kid, we can help you just let us help damn it!"
After a few minutes of yelling and swearing Redheart had had enough she tackled him and they fought for a good solid 45 minutes when Knuckles shoved Redheart away and tried to go airborne.
Redheart ran as far up a wall as she could and pushed off and she caught Knuckles by his left-wing dislocating it. As they hit the pavement again she straddled him and shoved a syringe into his neck and knocking him out cold.
Last thing Knuckles thought as he blacked out, "Damn she feels good!"
Knuckles woke up in a hospital bed and he was strapped down, and looking around be saw Nurse Redheart asleep by the bed with a few bruises and cuts. Coughing he froze as the petite yet muscular mare stirred. Redheart red-eyed walked just a couple of steps and checked his vitals. "Knuckles Mac Shadow, your still an amazing fighter, but running was never your strong suit." she chuckled and all Knuckles could think about because the sedatives left him a bit loopy, "I want a piece of that flank". Redheart left the room to get some coffee and Sweetie Belle walked in.
"I see Redheart got ya" she smirked, "if anypony can get ya she can. I was worried sick your whole family was worried and still are, you have a Celestia-damned problem and I got you a rehab nurse who can help. I was able to have Makita talked Hades out of firing you. You're getting close to losing your job. I don't wanna lose you neither does your family............. I need to go clock in, but behave yourself rumours are flying that Redheart bought a new toy she's dying to use on a patient." as Sweetie Belle walked out he felt alone, Redheart popped in to check on him. Back in the army days, he had thought that she was hot, and he recalled how Cockburn once said that he'd love to fuck Corp. Redheart senseless and soak her with his semen. Knuckles showed up to his orthopedic appointment with Sweetie Belle right on time. She had started him on basic exercises to help build up leg strength. The appointment was successful, but now his wing therapist was ready for him when he got there. Savannah was a cute little zebra mare and for being an earth pony she managed pretty well to roll the wing in directions that it needed to go to help it build strength.
Two months passed and he was walking normally again and even running with his girls and he felt great. He was able to also use his wing a slight bit, the rest of his rehab work involved an apple farmer and two of the best flyers in equestrian history; Captain Spitfire and her wing pony Rainbow Dash.
At first, he was hauling carts filled with apples uphill, but his legs and back got strong, and his Aunt Applejack made sure he started light and got heavier loads as time progressed.
His wing workouts were hell, Spitfire always blew her whistle in his face giving him a heart attack. Rainbow Dash was no easier and between the two pegasi mares, Knuckles was almost crawling into the house. A time came where he heard that Greenfield was going to propose to Makita and a few days later he saw the engagement ring was made from an ultra-strong electro-magnetic ring and it was stuck tight to her cyborg leg.
A few weeks later he was present for Flytrap to propose to Lenova. He was thinking of proposing to Sweetie Belle soon. His dad and uncle were very little help because they told how they proposed and yet. After all, he was so flustered they teased him playfully but it was a couple of weeks and his rehabilitation was going so well and Crystal Meth kept in touch and he was staying clean so far and it has been two months so he bought a ring and got himself ready to go and propose.

Chapter 4: The Question

Knuckles called his family up and asked them to come over, that's when they said they had to pick up his daughter from her friend's place, but what he did not no that sweetie was work with hibiscus to walk on her own and wanted to surprise him with it tonight. "Hello mom can you and dad come over later cause I'm going to ask sweetie a very important question, one more can you call every pony else cause I'm making dinner after I hang up so everything will be perfect." Knuckles asked his mother and she told him yes, he was busy as hell when every pony showed up.
"Knuckles can you come to the door I have a surprise for you," Sweetie asks him and hopes he would love what he was going to see when Knuckles was coming to the door his other six daughter tackles him hugging him cause this was the first time they have seen him since he came home from rehab. "Ok girls get off your father you do want him our surprise don't you, show her in Mrs. Shadow," Sweetie said to them and they got off him, that's when Knuckles looked at the door and seen hibiscus walk by his mother he just took a small step towards her to see if she would let him.

On her shakey back legs she started to walk towards her father and was doing it all on her will power, Knuckles was watching with amazement as she saw her walk right up to him then hugged him. "I missed you dad please don't run away again, and I'm sorry for looking at you with fear," Hibiscus said to her father crying into his shoulder, Knuckles just stood there holding her to let the tears out. The other girls joined the hug with their sister, he wrapped his wings around them to show he was here to stay.

When they got to the dining room he pulled Sweetie's chair out for her and went to the kitchen, Sweetie was on his right of him and the girls let Hibiscus have the chair on the left. When knuckles came back to the Dining room he had flowers and candy for Sweetie Belle and gave them to her, his squad was there and teasing him as well cause Makita and his sister Lenova seen him sweat a bit then whisper into to there colt friends ears and it got to the others within a few minutes. "So Knuckles you cleaned up real good and I bet Sweetie Belle here like that, but on another note, you made all this food cause it smells good," Flytrap said to his so to be brother in law knowing what he wanted to ask some pony in the room, and he knew why he took his time and got her the flowers and candy.

Dinner was over and every pony went to sit down in the living room and Knuckles excuse himself, his mother followed him to his bedroom and seen him walk to his nightstand. "Son is that what I think it is, so you are going to ask her tonight," Star Shadow said to her son and they made their way to back to the living room, every pony in the room and now seen Knuckles was getting more nervous and they were giggling at him.

"The reason I asked every pony here is to ask one question to a very important mare since I'm the last to ask this." Knuckles said to the room and walk over to Sweetie Belle, he kissed her on the cheek and backed up, and took a deep breath. "Sweetie Belle I know that I have a lot of mistakes and don't know if you'll say yes, but here goes for the only mare I know and love in my life that my girls like and I'm on my knees here to ask this, will you marry me even with all the bull shit I have done, so what do you say?" Knuckles asked her as he pulled the ring box out and showed her the ring with a gem the color of her mane.
Sweetie Belle was stunned, today the least but she knew what her answer would be. From seat in Knuckles favorite chair, she leapt off and kissed him and with a high squeal said yes. She with a free hoof gestured to the fillies and they too joined the hug. Hibiscus ran and leapt in. Star and Big Mac, especially Big Mac cried for joy, Shining Armor and Snowflake Obsidian were grinning an stole each other a kiss. Knuckles saw Redheart and Rarity give each other a kiss as well, he had no idea until that evening that Redheart and Rarity were a lesbian couple. Greenfield and Makita snuggled closer, and looking toward Flytrap he saw his friend crying because he was so happy and his sister Lenova playfully an flirtatiously jab his shoulder which only ended in a kiss. Firebrand looked at her nephew with pride, Knuckles had promised her a few weeks ago that if anything were to happen, he'd be the father to her foals. She presented to Knuckles the family heirloom spell books since he was full vampiric bat pony he'd have more use of them. Knuckles and Firebrand knew that they'd have to talk about a recurring dream they shared.
Since they had most if not all the vampiric bat pony genes it also came with foresight. This dream they shared was of a future events.

Chapter 5: Dreams & A Second Wife

It was a cool pleasent night and Knuckles had his window open. He was having a fitful sleep and when awoke he gave start; the dream in of itself wasn't horrible but heart wrenching.
He dreamt that he was at the hospital and Staccato's life hung in the balance with multiple wounds and as it neared the conclusion; a organ and blood donor saved her life but it left him in tears.
He teleketically dialed Firebrand, if anypony could understand, she could. She had groggily answered the phone. Knuckles told her about the dream ad to his surprise she replied in shock.
"You're having the same dream as I am! I know I'm only fifty percent vampire bat pony and your full vampire bat pony and you're supposed to have the gift of foresight. Why I do is beyond me. All I know is this; some point in the future no matter what we do prevent it Staccato will end up in the hospital cuz it's fate, and the donor we'll never know until the day falls upon us. So for now don't fret yourself senselessly, it'll all fit together. So try to get some sleep, okay my favorite nephew..............your grandparents would be so proud of you.......and I love you."
As he hung up he had a gut feeling that told him he'll lose Firebrand, shrugging the feeling off he fell asleep again. "Okay Knuckles, I just got kicked from the house because I have a job. As you know, in our tribe dignitaries and their children aren't supposed to have middle-class jobs like what you or I do. However, it was my calling and now I have no home; funny thing is my father didn't disinherit me as his soul heir. I'm looking for a place temporarily to live until I can find a place.............heard from Sweetie Belle that you two just got engaged and she asked me to ask you if I can use the guest room until I figure my life out."
Knuckles gave her the guest room but felt like something was up but he didn't know what. In addition to feeling something was up, he felt like ponies are going to gossiping about him and Savannah sleeping together.

Time past by, Knuckles was best stallion for both Greenfield and Flytrap. For Makita (with Lenova's help) bought all the newest equipment to insure that Makita would never be taken down again. Her equipment included such things as:

For Lenova he had found her old laptop that Makita had confiscated on their first day of boot camp and it had little battery life left.
He now had to plan for his own Wedding to Sweetie Belle. Things were going smoothly and without any problems. Many ponies wondered what would become of Savannah now? In the crowd of guests he saw two black ad purple ponies in the back; he knew Obsidian and Nightshade well.
Come to think of it, they showed up a few moments before Granny Smith died, and the day he left for boot camp............the day his grandparents died. He began to worry, who was gonna die in his family? After the ceremony Knuckles and Sweetie Belle made their rounds, when it came to the dancing, specifically the father and daughter dance and also the mother and son dances he saw Sweetie's father cry a good deal. When he danced with Star Shadow his mother, it was very sweet.

[Time lapse 3 years]

Knuckles was at work and buried in paperwork, Sweetie Belle took Savannah to Canterlot to talk to the princesses.
Their hooves clicked on the well polished marble floors, the stained glass shimmered as the light passed through it. They entered the throne room and when they courtsied Sweetie began her inquiries, "Your majesties, if I may ask? I would like to inquire laws about marriage and having more than one wife?"
Celestia gestured for Luna to speak since she had been the one to update the laws. "As of days of old one could only have spouse, but as of late and since I have an army of thestrals in my ranks and in my employment I needed t update the laws. It was because of the threstral laws of yore and by their very species, for if a threstral stallion has come into a situation to aid a mare by housing or protection he is duty bound to marry her as to provide constant provision and protection. If one does not perform his duties, he was to be astrosized by his fellow thestral stallions until he does his duty.
I presume Sweetie Belle you are asking for your friend here?"
"Yes my princess, I do ask for her."
"Ah, I see. Speak thou zebra!" Luna in the moment forgot not to use her Royal Canterlot voice and Savannah trembled but yet let out a squeak of terror.
"You see a few years back I was assigned by Nurse Redheart to help Knuckles rehabilitate his left wing. Well I developed feelings for him and by the time I worked up the courage to act upon my feelings he was engaged to Sweetie Belle. That was just a couple of weeks before my parents kicked me from the house because I was working and "ponies of our social standing are above working middle-class jobs" or so my mother said. So if fate would have it, Sweetie here sent me to Knuckles who had at that time a spare room and in which I'm still living rent free. The reason why we're here is obvious, so if we can have a document to present to Knuckles then we'll be on our way..........if only it's not too much trouble?"
Luna presented a copy of the needed documents and signed them and placed her Royal seal. Dinner time arrived and the Fillies who now were considered to be young mares helped in the kitchen. Their toddler bat pony son and daughter played in their play pin, Vivacé kept an on him. When Knuckles came through the door he saw the paperwork with Luna's seal upon it. Sweetie and Savannah looks at each other pensively, Knuckles read it, since he knew Sweetie Belle was okay with it because they had long night talks about his duties as a bat pony stallion. He pulled from his coat pocket and proposed to Savannah.
Since she had known him for a long time they got married a few weeks later. As they began to look for a larger house, Savannah got pregnant a few months later with twins as well.
Let it be known that bat pony stallions have it in their DNA to get their wives pregnant very quickly and have some unique gifts such as making themselves cold blooded so ponies hunting them can't find them using heat signature seeking technology and live to several hundred years old and still be as active as a young stallion.

chapter 6: Camping and News

Knuckles was being the father of 11 and it was showing, his two set of twin foals were crying and he walked to go see what was wrong. His son was hungry for a bottle of milk which knuckles had to warm up, and that's when everything went wrong for him and he just pass out in their room. "Sweetie calls Knuckles parents and has them come over please, he passed out again trying to do more than he can," Savannah asked Sweetie to do then seen her twins cuddling to their father and his wings to cover them, a few minutes Knuckles family and squad showed up but were quiet and Savannah showed them where he was sleeping and his father and uncle saw the bag under his only good eye.

They went to the kitchen and all sat down Sweetie and Savannah got every pony some coffee, but his father was proud of his son for what he was doing for his foals. "That it he needs a break to relax, Shining and you three we are taking him on a boys weekend, girls that is if you don't mind do you?" Big mac asked the girls asked then told them he would well check on him while they were thinking, Sweetie and Savannah thought for a bit then had their answer but waited for Big. Mac to get back. Savannah her twins start to think when she heard her twins cry, When she got there she smelled the air and knew they need changes and ask her father-in-law to change one and she would do the other.

Knuckles woke up and seen his second wife with his dad changing the twin's after he got up the twins wanted their father again so he walked over to the changing table. "there are two of my girls who are cute, sorry for passing out their sweetheart." Knuckles said to Savannah then seen his father there, Knuckles pick up his two daughters then put them on his back then they yawned and went to sleep on his back. When they all got to the kitchen Star Shadow went over to her grand foals and pick them up, then knuckles went to his chair at the table and Sweetie got him a coffee then kissed him on the cheek then sat down. "So why is every pony here it's not Sunday dinner night is it, or this because I've been passing out lately and sorry girls but I think I need-" Knuckles passed out again and was sleeping peacefully, Sweetie with his mother went to go pack his things while Savannah was watching the foals. His father and uncle help get him to his bed, they talked about a spot on the mountain where it was good for camping.

It was the next morning and Knuckles was wondering why he had his camping gear by the door, that's when he has seen his wife in the kitchen getting the kids ready for the day. "Knuckles me and Savannah think you need to go away on a guys weekend, and Alamadine whats is it you want now," Sweetie said then looked at her son but knew what he wanted, Alamdine bit his lower lip thinking on how to ask. Knuckles left to have a quick shower while he was washing his mane out when he heard a knock at the bathroom door.

"Let me get a towel first wrapped around me then I'll be out." Knuckles said when he had the towel on him on open the door to see his son standing, Alamadine looked up at his father and told him to ask his mothers if he could go with him on the guy's weekend. "You can come but you know we are hiking to the camping spot, so go get packed and I'll tell your mother's this can be a father-son camping trip as well." Knuckles said to his son who was happy about his answer, after he got ready and went to the kitchen and told his wife he was taking their son was coming they were ok with him cause they had an all-girls weekend planned which he raised an eyebrow to.

A couple of hours later his father showed up with the guy's and they saw his son, Alamadine ran up to his grandfather and hugged him then told him he was coming along. Flytrap was about to say something but Greenfield kicked him in his leg, Knuckles nodded at Greenfield. "This weekend is going to be fun right guy's, and no mare weekend just stallions only a right little one," Big Mac said to his grandson who was putting his stuffed toy in his bag, Sweetie gave a phone to Knuckles just in case she needed to get a hold of him.

"Oh Knuckles did you hear about Redheart and rarity, they broke up cause Rarity won some new stallion over guess she is single now," Shining said to his nephew watching him closely to see what he would do, Knuckles wing flutter a bit into the shape of a heart, and got a smile on his face thinking about her. They all were laughing at him but Alamadine told them to stop doing that, Knuckles shook his head clear then told them to stuff it and they were on their way.

It was a few hour's of a hike up the mountain to get to the spot and Knuckles was carrying his sleeping son on his back, Big Mac took his grand son's bag up at the halfway mark. "So when I'm going to see you two have kids Flytrap and Greenfield, cause I won't care if they are adopted foal's," Knuckles said looking at his sleep son and nudge him awake cause he wanted him to walk the rest of the way. He yawned and got on the ground and walked the rest of the way, when they got there they started to set up the camp and there. Almandine put his dad's tent up cause he wanted to share with him, Knuckles was doing the first night's cooking and they all loved when they were done eating they went to their tents It was the middle of the night when knuckles woke up in a cold sweat cause he had the dream again about his daughter, and everyone was getting sick and throwing up. "What's going on why are you guys getting sick, oh no son are you ok." Knuckles said then ran to their tent and seen him getting sick, he went for the phone to call the girls but ended up throwing up. That went on for the whole night and day, Knuckles was doing his best when he heard voices behind him and saw it was the girls.
Knuckles was very elated to have the girls show up when they did, but his self-image was ruined when he puked with absolutely no gracefulness at all. Redheart rolled her eyes and she dug through her gear and their food stash. "Who the fuck picked this foliage!" Flytrap shrank back and as did Greenfield.
Makita snapped her to the pair guessing the culprit she pointed to Greenfield. She had taught her troops back in the army days to identify poisonous foliage, Greenfield had never been camping in a"rough it or die" scenario. Redheart luckily brought stuff that would cause a pony to cleanse their digestive tract and GI system.
The next few days we're a disgusting hell of a few days. Redheart managed to get everyone to stop puking and gave hardtack and water. Flytrap, Knuckles, and Shining Armor felt like it was boot camp all over again.............including forced hikes to get them back in shape.
During this time Knuckles began to develop feelings for his army nurse. He told Sweetie Belle and Savannah about this development. They told him to ask Redheart to take her on a date, he did so and he was awed by her.

[The Date]

Knuckles walked up a flight of stairs of a sketchy apartment building, looking over his shoulder he saw a stallion watching him. He knocked and waited, Redheart soon opened and he was floored, she was gorgeous in the casual but tasteful dress with a pair of earrings and matching neckless; the dress was a floral print with a peasant top neckline. As they walked back down the stairs, the aforementioned stallion whistled and let out a catcall. Redheart snapped, "I told you to quit harassing me stupid cunt! My date happens to be a cop, and if I gave the word he and his team could wipe the apartment with your fucking carcass! Furthermore, I just might tell him what business you're in............so if I were you, back off!"
They walked in silence for a few minutes and Knuckles knew that Redheart was tough and had an edge but what he just witnessed was astounding.
"Sorry Knuckles for going off like that, but I just had it with him.............he and his friends have knocked up at least a quarter of the mares int his building but the precinct this apartment is in don't listen. If I may ask can you see if Hades can help you take that perv down?" Knock nodded and drove her to her favorite restaurant.
The night went smoothly and since it was late Knuckles brought her to his home and Sweetie Belle and Savannah doted on her and Redheart felt embarrassed. The next morning Knuckles and Hades led The team from top to bottom of Redheart's apartment building and several arrests were made and a few tenants had been shot down. Among some very grotesque and distasteful pictures, we're found they found a meth lab, and an underage prostitution ring was run through that building.
After a few months of successful dates, Knuckles told his wives that he wanted to marry Redheart and add her to the family. Sweetie and Savannah both said the night he brought her home signed that it was now His duty to do so. He saved her from a horrid situation now he must pony up and marry her.

Chapter 7: Testing and Courting Trouble

Knuckles and his friends met at Greenfield's testing facility, confused they walked into the testing building they were gonna be using. It was set up like a shooting range and like a large four-city block combat zone. Makita walked up.
Makita showed up looking like she had too many margaritas. Greenfield was looking over a list with Lenova:

"We're going to be testing the new tech we upgraded you with and while Lenova and I are watching the vital stats the rest of you and a special guest will be doing the combat." As if on cue a green car pulled up, Knuckles recognized the vehicle.............Redheart. She stepped out flicking out a pair of aviators and to Knuckles, she looked hot; and across her shoulder was slung a shotgun. The team was shown to a staging room to prep their gear.
Knuckles watched Redheart unload massive darts and replace them with training slugs. Everypony used training rounds that marked their target. Once they were set Makita was placed at one end and the others were placed at the other. An alarm sounded and phase 1 of a 3 phase test run began. They were going to be testing Makita's sensors and for and x-ray vision. They found Makita in a dark building and they were about to move in when she whipped around and yelled, "Nice try Sky Eye!"
Sky Eye charged and he ended the charge sliding on his back like a tortoise on ice. Flytrap, Knuckles, Holly, Sunrise, and Sky Eye blitzed it. Ponies went sliding around and Redheart was an amazing fighter for being an earth pony.
She was cool, calm, collected, and calculating and she was able to keep Makita busy but she too eventually tapped out. Knuckles didn't want to quit so he went as a lone gun and charged.
Makita whipped around as he flew for her and she kicked his abdomen and he hit the floor with a thud. Straddling him she had him pinned, and he said the dumbest thing possible.
"Damn you weigh a ton! Like a yak, remind to tell Pinkie Pie to quit selling you those muffins you love." She launched skyward and in doing so pushed the air from his lungs. Stunned, Knuckles rolled over and crawled to join the others.
Phase 2, was testing combat skills. They prepared to have their asses handed to them again. Flytrap made a similar mistake to his brother-in-law, "Makita I know you like Knuckles and all but please ride him later?" The bell sounded. First one Makita kicked a car into sent Flytrap flying into a wall, Sky Eye tackled Makita and using her wing propellers flipped onto her back knocking the wind out of him. Everypony couldn't keep Makita down. The start of phase 3 was about to start, and Makita gestured Knuckles and Flytrap over to where she sat.
"This is guns testing, so for you're jokes you'll be paying dearly..........I hope you got good insurance policies."
Just like that, she trotted off happily. The bell sounded for the final time for a test to start. Makita came swooping from 12 o'clock high and opened fire with the twelve 9mm guns in her wings first one down and out was Sky from, just because he forgot that Makita always swooped in from that position and banked around to come in a 3 o'clock position. Makita lit up Holly and Sunrise with spray paint from the flame throwers.
Sputtering and cursing Holland and Sunrise spat corn starch-based paint everywhere. Shining Armor and Hades showed up to watch the show and Big Mac as well, it was down to Flytrap and Knuckles now. "I don't know why she's holding back? She has enough firepower to wipe them all out in a single pass.........." She never finished her sentence when she swooped in and lit Flytrap up and left running and screaming like a filly covered in welts. Knuckles gave it his all but realized Makita had held back for this moment. He let out a bat pony squeak as the lights went out. For him to be able to use his echolocation he'd have to keep a constant squeak to see. Without warning, he felt himself get pelted from thousands of marking training rounds. As he ran for cover he felt a large hit him from the front and slam into his leg and breaking it...........again. Then a second large projectile slammed into his crotch.
As he lay in the hospital bed Redheart smirked, "Nice fight recruit, but next time..........don't make bad jokes. By the way down the hall, Flytrap is being treated for broken ribs." Sweetie and Savannah and the girls looked at him. They were planning something.
When they left to right visit Flytrap, they discussed a bet. "I bet 2,000 bits that after Knuckles recovers that he'd never be in the same bed with you."
"Flytrap, you know that our husband would never cheat on us, how bout 3,000 that hed sleep with her but never actually fuck her........."
"Mother, are you betting that dad would "fuck" a friend when you're in the same house? What is fucking anyway?" Sweetie Belle froze, shed forgotten that her young teen daughters we're with her
"I'll tell you girls later Demeter."

[9 weeks later]

Redheart was helping Knuckles paint the garage door, she looked a bit nervous But Knuckles never asked why. Covered with paint they finished the job and went inside and everypony inside was smirking.
As they went into the hallway they were wrapped in magic and unceremoniously shoved into the master bedroom and the door locked behind them. Moaning he heard laughing and he knew he had been set up. Knuckles took a cold shower and he was out in 2 minutes and as Redheart was about to go clean up she swore up a storm, all her apparel was in her room all knuckles had to offer was a shirt that was 3 sizes to big for her. Sweetie Belle and Savannah conveniently pulled their clothing out to wash. A few minutes later Redheart appeared in his shirt and looked kinda sexy with the oversized shirt and her mane hanging down in a loose braid.
After being fed via having food teleported to them they ate. Realizing they only had one bed they sat looking at each other awkwardly. "Redheart, you can have the bed I'll sleep on the floor."
"I can't just do that! As the master of the house, you sleep on the bed I'll take the floor. There's a running bet that we won't sleep together...........and I agreed to the wager..........under duress. I'm not a homewrecker, it was Flytrap's idea. And your wives bet on us as well."
"Look, I know we're the same age, and you're the youngest nurse in your position. If we did you know fuck and all that you'd be pregnant in 3 months."

Pictures were taken and Sweetie with not much warning screamed, "Knuckles Mac Shadow!" Knuckles bolted upright and Redheart followed suit, pulling up the blanket over them. Everypony was laughing hysterically.
When Knuckles saw the photos later he blushed and later learned that during the campout his dad took pictures of his cock and sent them to Redheart. Redheart was equally embarrassed.
"Now Knuckles, there is a legal matter you have to tend to. Because the night you brought home Redheart and cleaned her building out and saved her from those pervs and gave her a home here you are legally bound by bat pony law and Luna's laws; you are required to marry Redheart, besides we all know you have feelings for her. So ask her.
A few weeks later Knuckles took Redheart to the hospital and took her to the old nurse station where she worked when she saved his eye and was there for Hibiscus and Makita. He knelt and proposed to her. Redheart tackled him and screamed, "Yes I will!" Their courtship was trouble, between his snarky mouth and her love of pranking; ponies said that either one was courting trouble.

Chapter 8: Trial

Knuckles ad the team were very successful and got promoted to detective. They were investigating a series of rapes, and found a few fatalities. The one connection for several were they they were students who were taught by a unicorn named Snare. Knuckles brought Makita, and put in a call to a pony named Sparks to assist on an interview. When they pulled up to the house or was locked by turning his head he saw his suspect trotting up.
"Excuse me Snare but I got a few questions for you. First off, my friends and I are investing a series of rape cases and some of the victims were students of yours. We have a crippled pegasus we found drowned three miles from you day job, and a unicorn named Pixie Dust a griffin that was raped senseless just outside of the school. Have you noticed any suspicious ponies or creatures hanging around?"
"Not that I've seen"
"Sparks need to ask anything?"
Sparks spoke up, "Does the name Strawberry mean anything to you?" Snare hastily answered no. When they left, they drove to a coffee shop to get coffee.
The next several months was filled with interviews leads, and dead ends. Feeling defeated the tea sat at their desks at the precinct. Suddenly they were rolling out to a 9-1-1 call about a filly being raped. When they got there the filly was barely breathing, a dark unicorn was trying to slow the death and the perp got away. Knuckles knew that their city had ten pegasus that looked like the perpetrator.
The filly had been rushed to the hospital, the parents were being questioned and Makita did scans of the area and happened to scan an earth pony named Strawberry or so her scanner said and a missing pony report shot up and Makita ran an age progression tech over the picture of the filly it had to the pony her scanner saw and it was a perfect match. Makita showed Sparks and Knuckles. Snare was suddenly hoof-cuffed and shoved into a squad car and taken to be booked.

[Life is Precious]

Strawberry sat and cried, her world was falling apart, her filly was hanging by a thread, and the stallion she spent most of her life with has been arrested and her mind went back to the dark unicorn who tried her best to slow her daughter's death. Redheart was brought in, as a combat medic she was skilled in removing bullets. She and her team worked quickly but the heart monitor gave the ominous steady beeeeeeep.
"Celestia-damn it!" Screeched Redheart she did everything to try to get the heart beat going to no avail. Even Makita's new heart defibrillator didn't help. In a rage Redheart punched the monitor, she just needed just ten more minutes and they would've been out of the woods. Strawberry broke down and cried, the dark unicorn stood beside her,silent like a grave. The two mares sat silently, Strawberry just cried into the stranger's shoulder. Then it clicked in her mind, this mare had been talked about, this mare always without fail appeared when a pony either was going to die or could possibly die.

[At the Station]

"Come on Snare just admit it you are a filly-fooler and you know it!"
Snare just sat there head in his hooves, he knew when his trial came he'd be a dead pony. He thought of all of his victims. Looking up he asked, "Can I have a pencil and paper?"
The officer questioning him shoved the required items but Snare didn't write. The cop slammed him into the wall. "Write damn it! Listen fucking cunt! Ponies like you deserve to be damned to Tartarus for a life under extreme torture...........I have half the mind to torture you myself right now!" Knuckles and Makita saw what was going down and they galloped to the room and pulled the officer out. Knuckles stood in the room now glaring.
Snare began to write, after an hour he slid the paper over; Knuckles looked at and was appalled. On it were the names of everypony he raped or had killed after the rape complete with a full confession. Knuckles didn't know it was gonna be this easy. Suddenly his phone rang. He answered it.
"Hey dear, tell Snare they his filly didn't make it............I tried everything up here to save her............it was horrible, you have no idea what it's like having a filly die in your arms asking for her parents. Strawberry barely had the chance to say good bye. Also Strawberry told me with a complete recording with the talk between us. Snare did rape her and also............had sex with his own daughter, it kept it only to blow jobs though. I have no fucking idea how he contained himself, and he did it every six weeks and only for 30 minute increments. But I do have a lead on a drug lord named Pot, he uses teens like your daughter Cherry Blossom to push his product, you've met his daughter already; her name's Crystal Meth."
Knuckles laughed it off cuz he knew Cherry would never do drugs or so he thought. But the info he knew was legit. However with Snare's leads, and his cooperation and the fact he took care of his pets up to where cupcake died made him wonder if he could convince the princesses to let him redeem him.

[The Trial]

It was three weeks after Cupcake's funeral the trial was held. Snare didn't lawyer up because he knew he was guilty as fuck and prayed that he'd get s hefty sentence. He was seated by a purple alicorn who took the task of being his lawyer. Looking back he saw Knuckles with his family and mostly his victims or the mothers of them. And on the far side sat a pink earth pony being the lawyer for the victims.
Three alicorns walked down the center of the room, he knew them he saw Cadence and she glared daggers of hate toward him; then there was Celestia she towered over the other ponies in the room and she looked like she wanted to stab her horn through him. Taking up the rear was Luna herself, she actually spat on his face, and he didn't care anymore. He had been depressed and Knuckles was kind enough to talk to him for some reason.
Luna spoke first since most of his worse crimes were done during the night. "Snare, you swear to tell the whole truth?"
"I do, I got nothing to lose or to hide."
" You know that everypony in this room knows why you're here. How do you please?" Snare felt small looking up and craning his neck up at the raised dais.
"Guilty your majesty, as you know by now I've given full confession and all i ask is that you give me your worst for my crimes." The trial wore on with testimony after testimony. Snare was sentenced to life in prison, but Knuckles rose up and and asked private audience with the princesses.
[Audience]
"Your majesties, may I offer a deal?"
"What pray tell is it Knuckles?"
Knuckles continued, "You know that but can turn ponies back into foals again, let me do that with Snare and Strawberry? I did some digging and her parents are dead and no next of kin, so may turn her to a young teen mare and Snare to a teenaged stallion, wipe their memories of the past and raise them as my own? For Cupcake, I have the vampiric magic and power to raise her from the dead via a bite. Staccato has changed for the better, please let me redeem him and adopt all 3?"
"The idea has appeal, I see that thou hast spoken with him for several weeks and he's changed. Tia, Cadence dost thou agree with the arrangements?" The other nodded but Cadence felt reserved and Twilight whole heartedly agreed.

[Back in Session]

When the new sentence was announced it took a while SWAT team and Makita to calm everypony down. The victims and mares when heard why this decision was made and it made sense to them.

Chapter 9: Redemption

The next morning after the trial, Knuckles stood where Cupcake had been buried. Snare and Strawberry were there as well. The princesses unburied the coffin and lifted it out. A large crowd gathered to watch and several news crews began rolling cameras.
Knuckles lifted the coffin lid off and the smell of decay almost floored him. He opened his mouth and bit down on Cupcake's neck. Redheart had been asked to hook up a heart monitor so after Knuckles had bitten a few seconds passed and it began to give a steady beep. Cupcake woke up and had gotten help to get out of the coffin.
Knuckles sang the same he used for Staccato.

"Oh, thou that dost move on,
Let me pray to gather those
Who needs another chance
Give them the gift of lore
Give them a second chance
For redemption for them to have
I here today, at this time do proclaim
A second chance thou shalt have!
I turn you now, back to where ye came
Return thou to a foal."

Before everyponyies' eyes, they saw the two ponies shrink down to foals and with another spell wiped their memories as well as Cupcake's.
Knuckles after the ordeal and the trial ended there he took his family to get lunch. Vivacè and Staccato wanted hay burgers, Alamadine & Snare wanted just to eat pie for lunch; Demeter, Tethys & Coeus wanted to get lunch at Sugar Cube Corner. Hibiscus, Night glider and Evening Joy were flexible. His wives and fiancé just followed his lead. The family went with hay burgers. Knuckles had the rest of the family meet them at a burger joint in town. As they ate, the other patrons were smirking and snickering as they watched Coeus trying to get her siblings to be more civil. Which only met a straw wrapper being shot at her. Things settled down and lunch became peaceful.

[1 year later]

Knuckles and his dad stood in a room with Shining Armor trying to help the other groomsmen prep for the wedding. Knuckles was gonna be marrying Redheart, he didn't know why he was so nervous he'd done this a couple of times. "Look, son, I know your nervous and all but don't be. Redheart has seen what kind of pony you are, and your failures; she's not a shallow mare, she is more interested in what's underneath and in the heart than what ponies see on the outside."
"Thanks dad, I just want you to know that I do my best to make you and mom proud..........."
"We were proud of you the day you were born. We knew you'd do great things, come on let's finish you up and get you out there!" the ceremony was very sweet and as the music began Redheart slowly began her walk down the aisle. Cupcake being the youngest was the flower filly and she was adorable. Knuckles daughters were bridesmares.
Knuckles never had seen Redheart in such an astounding and jaw dropping dress before. During the vows Knuckles forgot what he had rehearsed and wrote down so he had to improvise.
"Redheart, they I met you was the day I realized you had a huge heart driven to give your all to those you cared about. You've seen my best and worst and yet you were there to catch my falls lift me up again. I give you this day a vow. I Knuckles Mac Shadow vow to you, I will love and cherish you like a fine jewel and hold you close until death do we part I give you this ring as a token of my vow." Knuckles slid around Redheart's neck his grandmother Amathyst's ring.
" Oh shit! I forgot to even write vow! Damn it Redheart how could you forget? Well steady filly, here goes! " Redheart thought as she felt nervous. Redheart found her voice and began:
"Knuckles Mac Shadow, the day you arrived into my life, I thought you were just some crazy punk private who would just give and go home when things got tough, but you proved me wrong. I had as you guess fell in love with the stallion who brought in fillies he had rescued and raised as his own, quick to administer justice and also show a loving and kind heart. That's when I knew I wanted to marry you. I Redheart give you this vow, I vow with my very being and every heartbeat until I breath my last I will always be there to catch you, if you stumble, and to raise you up if you fall. Hurricane, Feather Dancer and Gale Winds were placed in the center. Chapter 11 Surprise

"Well you see Snare there was a problem when she was coming into the world, but her name is Cherry Blossom your baby sister say hello to her," Redheart said to Snare as he looked down at her and smiled, then Cherry looked up at him making the cutest sounds. That's when the doctor came in the room making Cherry cry, Snare gave his sister his hoof and she started to suck on it and drifting to sleep. Redheart saw this happening and told them he could stay with her, that's when snare was happy he was caring for his baby sister as a big brother should.
