Chapter 11: The Hunt Is Over

KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!

“Oh, goodness. Who could that be at the door?” Rarity asked to herself as she went towards the door while Andrew watched her. But as she opened the door, Andrew got an unpleasant feeling when she did.

“Oh, um... Hello, Applejack…” Rarity stuttered.

“Quit y’er yappin’ Rarity!” Applejack said angrily. “ah know you have that other human in your boutique! So hand him over!”

Rarity was shocked by this response, she realized that Applejack knew she had Andrew. “Applejack, I’m sorry, but if you think I am playing with his emotions like how I did with Alex, then you are completely wrong!”

“Ah know that!” Applejack said. “All I’m askin for is him so I can make my orchard rich!”
Andrew was really surprised to hear that Applejack said she would use him for some sort of circus act and cringed at the thought of it. But he knew things had to change.

“Well I will refuse to do anything with you!” Andrew said as he got up.

“Wh-what?” Applejack said.

“Yeah, you heard me, I refuse to do any kinds of dumb tricks you’d try to make me, or Alex do!” Andrew angrily said. “And I think you’re just being really greedy with wanting to get a lot of money. I mean come on! Whatever happened to the line, Hard Work Pays Off In The End?”

Applejack tired to find a way to make a valid argument with Andrew but gave up realizing he had a point. Andrew was basically roasting her and felt really ashamed about what she was doing. She took off her hat in sorrow.

“Kid, I’m… I’m so sorry, I didn’t realize how stingy I was acting like.” Applejack said. “Can you ever forgive me?”
Andrew sighed. “I will… But as long as you can help me, and Rarity get your friends to stop chasing me and Alex.”
‘Gladly!” Applejack said. “Though I may not know where Alex is right now, we should be able to find him in the Everfree Forest. I think I heard him scream.”

“Wait, he was screaming?!” Andrew said worryingly. “We gotta help him! He could be in SERIOUS danger!”
“Andrew’s right, darling!” Rarity intervened. “Oh’ I’m so worried about what could have happened to Alexander!”
The three make their way out of the boutique and made their way to the Everfree Forest. Only to then to bump into Twilight and Spike.
“Girls?” Twilight said to them.

“Sugarcube, we need to talk about Alex and Andrew-”

“No need to explain,” Twilight interrupted. “I know I shouldn’t be chasing Alex or that Andrew around anymore.”
“We need to find Alex.” Andrew said.
The three ponies and Andrew sought out into the Everfree Forest to find Alex.

“I hope Andrew is near…” Alex said in concern.

“Don’t worry, Alex.” Fluttershy replied. “We will find him.”

“Isn’t he that kid who’s like you except he wears red, has yellow spiky hair, and weird black arms and legs?” Pinkie
“Uh… Yeah.” Alex said. “That’s Andrew. “He’s some sort of chosen one.”

“Chosen one?” Sweetie Belle asked.

“Well, I saw this odd prophecy where it says that an evil entity has emerged from the ashes of this Nightmare Moon, I’ve never heard abou-
*GASP* “You mean Nightmare Moon had a son?!” Pinkie Pie exclaimed.
“I… guess so…” Alex stammered, remembering Nightmare Alex. “Well, whoever this evil guy is, I did run into him in the forest. And he almost killed me!”
The ponies were shocked. “This ain’t good!” Apple Bloom said. “What if we see him again?”
Alex sighed, he knew he may run into Dark Andrew again. “Well, we should focus on findin-“

“ALEX?!”

Alex suddenly looked over to see Andrew with the other ponies he had tamed. They all looked at each other with happiness in their eyes.

“ANDREW YOU’RE OKAY!”

Alex and Andrew ran towards each other and hugged with tears in their eyes.

“I’ve missed you!” Andrew said.

“I’ve missed you too!” Alex replied.

The ponies looked at them with tears of joy in their eyes.

“Alexander,” Rarity said. “I’m so sorry I tried to make you my prized pet, I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive us…”
Alex smiled at them. “I forgive you all…”

Twilight suddenly noticed somepony was missing. “Wait… where’s Rainbow Dash?”

“Right here!” Rainbow Dash said as she appeared on top of a tree with an angry look on her face as she flew down to Alex.
“You two have caused me a lot of trouble, first you make me perform a stunt I was saving for the Wonderbolts, then you constantly make me embarrass myself a lot, and now I crashed into a sign! Now you WILL be mine forever!”

“Rainbow Dash, stop!” Twilight said. “The human hunt is over!”

“Not to me!” Rainbow Dash sneered as she got out the shrinking potion. “This time you won’t escape, Lexy!”

She opened the bottle and was about to pour it on Alex until….

*SMACK!*

The bottle suddenly flew right out of Rainbow Dash’s hands and fell right into a nearby lake. “Wh-what?!” Rainbow Dash exclaimed in shock. He then looked to see who punched the bottle and saw Andrew with his fist clenched pointed at her and his left eye was flaring with and orange flame.

“Hooves, OFF!” Andrew yelled at her.

Rainbow Dash looked shocked. Nopony had ever stood up to her like that.

“You better apologize to Alex, OR ELSE!” Andrew snarled as Rainbow Dash sweated.

“Okay…” Rainbow Dash whimpered as she slowly trudged to Alex and sighed. “I’m sorry about chasing you around like the girls… I was just mad that you tricked me back there.”
Alex, still shocked by Andrew’s hidden power looked at her and said: “It’s okay, I forgive you now.”

"Good..." Alex said.

*FLASH*

Everyone looked up to see Princess Celestia and Princess Luna flying in the sky and looking at them.”you have all done well, my loyal subjects…” Princess Celestia said.
