Chapter 6: Man Vs. Pony

“Ugh… what happened?” Alex groaned as he woke up somewhere in the maze garden where he was chased by Luna. H was confused on how he had gotten there. He then suddenly remembered that while being chased by Twilight, Celestia, and Luna, they all tried to grab him at once. But he ended up slipping out of their grasp and went flying into the maze.

“Oh no… not here again!” He said to himself. “I have to get out of here before the ponies try to find me again!”

Alex traveled through the maze and eventually found the exit and looked around for any guard ponies around. Luckily, nopony was in sight. Alex sighed in relief. What he had to focus on was finding Andrew and avoiding The Mane 6, The CMC, the Royal Sisters, and Trixie.
Alex walked out of the maze and looked around him. He knew he didn’t have much time and decided to make his way back to the Everfree Forest because he believed that Andrew was still there waiting for him. “Hang in there, Andrew. I’m coming.”
Alex noticed none of the ponies were nowhere in sight as Alex sighed in relief. He then walked through the town of Canterlot as nopony seemed to be around which was odd for Alex. Were the ponies out on the look for him and Andrew?

Twilight Sparkle had entered the Golden Oaks Library with a look of defeat on her face, while Spike was there to meet her.
“Hey, Twilight!” Spike greeted. “Were you able to catch Alex?”
“No, Spike...” Twilight said in sorrow. “I wasn’t able to get him. He was with another human,
but they got away!”
“Well, I really think we should stop…” Spike replied.
“Spike! Alex and that other human are still out there! We can’t stop now! We just can’t!” Twilight exclaimed.
“Jeez Twilight, chill…” Spike answered nervously. He had never seen Twilight this upset. And trust me, he had seen Twilight upset before. But this was different. “Why do you even need a Hoofbel prize anyway?””
Twilight angry expression quickly changed to shock as she stuttered. “Well, I…um.”
She silently bit her lip. Her ears flattened as she lowered her head. “I guess I never really thought why I would even need one…”
“Even if you had gotten it, what would you do after?” He asked her.
“I…I don’t know…” Twilight replied. “Maybe what I was doing was a mistake… I need to apologize to Alex and this other human.”
“”Well then, lets go find them!” Spike said as he got onto Twilight’s back.

Rarity had left the Everfree Forest and made her way to her Boutique, while doing her best to hide Andrew. As she made her way inside, she suddenly made Andrew appear out of nowhere.
So tell me, Andrew…” Rarity spoke. “How did you get here?” Rarity walked and sat on her couch as she signaled Andrew to come sit with her.

“Well, I told Alex this, but when this Princess Luna had teleported him here with some orb, I saw him with it in his hands and walked over to see what he was doing and well, here I am.” Andrew said.
“My my…” Rarity said realizing he was going through a lot. “I’m sorry this was all happening. I’ll let you stay here if you don’t mind.”

Andrew felt happy, this pony was offering him shelter he knew he couldn’t refuse. “Thank you, Rarity.” He spoke. “I could really use a rest after all of this.”
As Rarity led Andrew into another room, a certain orange pony was lurking outside and noticed Andrew through one of the windows.
“Rarity’s got one of em?” Applejack said in shock. “Shoot, Then I’ll have to get him some other way!”
