A leveler in Equestria

This time I woke up in a savannah.

"Am I getting recorded by national geographic?" I tried to joke but it was horrible.

"Let's leave it to being menacing and a monster I can do this better," I told myself.

Now I'm in what appears to be a savannah biome like those you see on the TV about animal life and lions and shit.

"I'm not gonna risk it," I said and tried my powers to see them back again.

I didn't know if I should be happy or in a bad mood because I was afraid that they could disappear again when I'm in trouble.

I felt an itch in my two arms.

Wait.

I looked at my missing arm to see it back again no red transparent arm but a full arm with muscles and veins.

I missed the feeling of walking normally by swinging two arms instead of one.

I stood for a while admiring my newly generated arm.

"I think we caught a prize" I heard a male voice say so I turned towards it.

...

What the fuck.

There was a pack of lions. what were they called? a pride? I don't know. It doesn't matter let us get back to the matter at hand.

"Did you just talk?" I asked the lion.

"Yes I did and you won't be in a minute." He said and crouched a little.

I think he was flexing his skills to the females and I couldn't tell how they think.

These animals don't have facial expressions like ponies and the mythical species at Equestria.

"You better think about your actions buddy. You don't want to mess with me." I said.

"Ha, what can you do? you're just a monkey." He said.

He pounced at me with a roar. I just stood there unimpressed.

I leaned to the side and he fell to the ground.

"You know? the manticores were much bigger than you are and more threatening." I said and noticed that I was about to get attacked from behind.

I crouched and saw a lioness above me and she fell too.

The lions began to circle me.

"You know I won't be so nice anymore. The next one to jump at me will die." I said in a cold and confident voice.

Unknown POV

It's been a while since I was observing this strange primate.

He was looking at his arm for a while before a pride of lioness with one lion in the lead come at him.

I was wondering what will he do. To my surprise he didn't do anything? he didn't growl or didn't try to appear threatening and he didn't escape either even though I doubt that he can run fast enough to run away from them but that doesn't matter right now because from what I'm seeing he's been dodging them like he had eyes everywhere on his body.

I don't think he saw the lioness that was behind him but when she jumped he just ducked he didn't turn around to look at her and he didn't seem surprised at all he just ducked.

The next thing he said gave me three feelings. Confused, impressed, and pity.

Did he threaten a pride? What is he thinking but what poked me the most was how confident he was about the whole thing.

Well, this was a poor choice for last words.

One of the lionesses pounced at him but this time he didn't dodge. HE POUNCED AT HER BACK!

WHAT IS HE THINKING?

I didn't see what happened all I saw was a blur and the lioness severed head fell in front of me.

I looked at them again to see the primate standing in his place with a scary look and his body was covered in blood.

The lioness lifeless body was missing her legs and paws and her head flew towards me.

And then I felt it. The fear.

When he killed the lioness I wasn't scared and wasn't shocked but now I felt his intent.

He's way more dangerous than he seems.

I saw his arms blacken and he vanished.

He disappeared I don't see him but the pride isn't moving.

I focused a little on them to see why weren't they moving.

All of their head fell to the ground before they fell dead.

He killed a whole pride in an instant.

What is he?

I need to get out of here.

"Enjoy the show?" I heard him.

He was behind me.

I jumped back and turned around at him.

He was sitting there with a smirk.

I saw his teeth.

They were in an unnatural position with how clean and sharp and strong they looked.

I couldn't say anything and he stood up.

I thought that I was about to die I can't threaten him. He killed a pride I can't do anything.

and with how he disappeared I doubt I could run away from him.

He walked slowly towards me and I was prepared to die... but he passed me and walked back to the dead pride.

He grabbed two copses and came back to me.

He threw one of the bodies at me and sat down.

"Sheesh calm down dude." He said.

I hesitated for a moment but I managed to force myself to speak.

"W-what d-do y-you p-plan t-to d-do w-with m-me?" I asked full of fear.

"Chill out I don't want to do anything." He said.

I calmed down a little.

"What do you want?" I asked.

"Nothing dude just calm down." He said.

"Why are you acting so friendly towards me?" I said suspiciously.

"You know? for a hyena your overthinking too much." He said.

I wanted to respond but I was shocked again.

He ripped away from the skin on the lion's body like it was a leaf.

I was wondering how strong is he.

He began eating the lion.

Now I know how much these teeth are dangerous.

He bit down the bone like it was mush without any effort.

He looked at me and I froze.

"Dig in." He said.

"W-what do you mean?" I asked.

"Bro you seem hungry and you're so lean. I gave you a lioness so you could eat." He said.

I calmed down a little. He seemed honest.

"But why didn't you attack me?" I asked.

"Did you attack me?" He asked.

"No," I said.

"Well, then that should explain." He said and began eating again.

"Are you just going to share your kills just like that?" I asked.

"Yeah, I can't eat all of it." He said and looked at me like I just said something weird.

"Ooookaaaay," I said and sat down next to him.

I grabbed a bone and began trying to eat it.

"Why are you eating the bone?" He asked.

"Uhhh isn't that what I'm supposed to do?" I said again.

He laughed at me a little and ripped out a good chunk of muscle.

"Eat whatever you want dude savour the free food." He said.

I was confused because for a creature as strong as he is he's treating me with respect.

I bit down a chunk of meat and ate it.

"Mmmmm ahhh it's been so long since I had meat instead of bones," I said.

"What do you mean?" He asked.

"I'm a male hyena," I said.

"Yeah, so?" He said.

"What do you mean I'm a male hyena that's what I eat when I hit puberty."

"Why is that?" He asked.

"The females won't share the food with us they share the remains which is bones," I said.

"That's why your teeth seem to be in a poor condition?" He asked.

I didn't answer.

"Sorry." He said.

We continued eating until we became full.

"Man I'm thirsty. Do you where I could find a river?" He asked me.

"Yeah, I'm thirsty too. Follow me I know a small lake somewhere near here." I said.

We got up and he grabbed a chunk of wood and began scratching it while we walked.

"So what are doing here alone?" He asked.

"I'm looking for another tribe," I said.

"Why?" He asked.

"So I could mate," I said.

"Why is that don't you have females in your tribe?" He asked.

"Yes I do but they hate mating with males from the same clan so we males need to go to another tribe and get accepted so I could mate," I said.

"That seems tough." He said.

I chuckled a bit.

He looked at me confused.

I explained to him how the females are the dominant species and how they bully us when we become teenagers and the life of a male hyena.

"Holy shit that's hard." He said.

"You don't know about it?" I asked.

"Hell no, why would they do that." He said.

"I don't want to think about it," I said.

"Wait when you will go to another tribe that will change right?" He asked.

"No, it will be worse. I will be the lowest ranking member they will abuse me and terrorize me and the food will always become bones if there were any bones left." I said.

"You know what. Don't worry about it I will come by every once in a while, so just tell me what do you want and I will deal with it." He said.

"You know I can't ask you that," I said.

"Don't worry about it I have nothing better to do and I will enjoy helping a buddy." He said with a warm smile.

"You know for someone as strong as you I thought you would be a snooty bully," I said.

He laughed a little.

"You know we've shared a meal but we don't know each other's name." He said.

"Oh, you're right. I'm Alawi." I said.

"Nice to meet ya Alawi. Name's Mike." He said and smiled at me.

We reached the small lake and I leaned in to drink a little.

"Are you going to drink that?" He asked.

"Yeah, why is there something wrong?" I asked.

"Yeah it's way too dirty that's not healthy." He said.

"Yeah I know but I can't just clean it it's impossible," I said.

"Not for me." He said.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Wait here for a moment." He said and went to a tree and I don't know how but he cut it without touching it.

"What is that?" I heard a familiar voice say.

I looked at the source and it was Asola one of the female hyenas from my clan.

"Hey, do you know him?" She asked with a hint of disgust from talking to me.

"Yeah I was observing him and things happened and we shared some food," I said and tried to ignore her.

"Hey did you forget your place?" She said a bit irritated.

I didn't respond to her because I saw Mike getting back from the tree.

He made a hollowed sphere that I didn't know what would he use it for.

"Heh, these are monkeys for you always with their fancy tool making," Asola said.

"And what are you doing here didn't you leave to look for another tribe?" Asola asked.

"Yeah, but he was thirsty and I was too so I brought him here," I said.

"Well, then this will be my parting gift."

I was confused. parting gift? what is that supposed to mean?

She bit me hard in one of my ears.

As soon as she did that Mike vanished from his place and appeared near her.

She got jump scared so she let go of my ear and was about to scream.

With a not natural speed, Mike grabbed her by the throat and lifted her up towards him.

"C͉͎̻a̞̟͜n͇̦͍ y̡̙͔o̡͎͉u̙͚͜ t͚̘̟e͎͔͇l̢̙̺l͍̦͖ m͚̘̝e̡͔͙ t̡͓͔h̟͜͜e̢͚̝ l̡̢͍o̡̟͜g͓͚i̻̙͇c̢̘͙a̦͉̦l͕̟̺ r̡̫͙e͕͕a̢̦͔s͕̟o̢̠͇n̪͉̟ b͇͓͔e̺̦͔h̙͙͙i̢̺͙n͔̠͕d̡͎̪ w̼̪̠h͙̫y̠̦̞ d͉̞i̪̦͚d̫̞̼ y͍̪̼o͓̦̞u̢̼ b̡̪̟i̘̠̝t̟̞͎e͍̠̺ h̢̦̙i̢͙̠s͙͉ e̺̺͉a͚̝̙r͔͕?͕̦̝" He said in a scary growling voice that I didn't know that he had.

She was still surprised so she didn't answer him.

I saw his eyes turn red and he flashed his teeth.

"You know? I never tasted a hyena I wonder how would you taste." He said this time with a deep voice, not a growling one.

"N-no p-please I did-" She said but Mike cut her off by putting her down.

"I will let it slide this time but believe me when I say. If dare as much as to touch him. I will rip out that makeshift dick you call a clit and shove it up your ass." He said and narrowed his eyes.

"I'm I clear?" He asked.

She nodded and sat down I think because from the fear because if I were her I would run away.

Mike turned and crouched and looked at my bleeding ear.

"Eh it's treatable but I will do it after I get some water." He said.

"Here look at this Alawi." He said and dunked the wood piece in the water and he brought it out again.

He put the bowl in front of me and Asola was curious so she came and looked at the wood too.

I was about to say something when Mike cut me off by putting one of his digits at my lips.

I figured by his head severing bone-breaking and skin ripping that they would be sharp but it was surprisingly soft.

"Here look." He said and put another digit in the water and after a second the water looked transparent like the water droplets when it rains.

I heard Asola mutter a low wow.

He grabbed the wood and raised it towards me.

"Here take a drink," He said.

I sipped a little of the water and to be completely honest it was the best water I ever drank.

It didn't taste and it didn't smell and it was too refreshing and clear.

I didn't notice my actions because the next thing I saw was the water empty and I was heaving.

Mike cleared the water again and he took a drink this time.

"Now about your ear," He said and he grabbed my ear without touching the bite mark and he did something.

I don't know what it is but I felt like my body got lighter and I felt... better than normal.

He then grabbed his leg fur.

And... Did he rip it?

He wrapped my ear with it.

"Leave it here for two days and it will heal." He said.

"Your fur feels weird," I said

"That's because it isn't fur it's cloth." He said.

"What is that?" I asked.

"Plant fiber sewed together to make a cloth." He said.

"What does that mean?" I asked.

"Forget it." He said.

"But didn't it hurt?" I asked.

"Why would it hurt," He said.

"Well, you ripped your cloth," I said.

"No, no cloth isn't something that I was born with. It was made." He said.

He raised his cloth and showed me his leg skin.

"That's is my skin that would hurt if I rip it. This thing, however." He grabbed the cloth. "This doesn't feel," He said.

"Why do you wear it?" I asked.

"Well to keep warm a little." He said.

"Then why don't you have cloth on your upper body?" I asked.

"I don't have any." He said.

I was about to ask another question but he told me to shut up.

We got up and continued our search for a tribe.

after a few minutes of walking, Mike proved to me that he isn't normal... more than what he already proved from the pride fight.

"YOU'RE BAD AT STEALTH YOU KNOW THAT," Mike yelled and stopped.

"WHAT! Who is there" I was surprised by Mike's action.

"Oh don't worry it's just your friend back at the lake." He said.

"What's with her?" I asked.

Mike turned around and pointed at a mid-range far bush.

"I KNOW YOU ARE IN THERE YOU CAN DROP YOUR PITIFUL ACT OF STEALTH." He said and Asola came out from the bush and walked towards us.

"How did you even notice her?" I asked in awe from his abilities.

"Just a hunch." He said and I knew that was a lie. How could a hunch be that precise?

Asola was in front of us and she looked at Mike.

"What are you exactly?" She asked.

"Why do you care?" He said.

"Tell me one thing. Before I saw Alawi at the lake I saw a full pride of lion's bodies mutilated. Was that you?" She said and I could hear the fear in her voice.

"Yep." That's it? Just a yep.

"There is no need for lies whatever you are," Asola said.

"Believe me or not I couldn't even give a fuck about your opinion," Mike said.

She was about to say something but stopped when she saw the look on Mike's face.

"Let's continue." He said and turned away from her.

"Yo Alawi I know she will follow us so let's lose her." He said.

"But how?. I don't think we can run away from her it would be a waste of energy and useless and she is the fastest runner at the tribe." I said.

Mike crouched and put his hands on the ground.

"Hop on my back." He said.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Like you would hop on a female to fuck her." He said.

"Uhhhh...." I was confused. Does he want me to mate with him?

"No, I don't want you to fuck me..." He shuddered.

"Just hop on my back." This time I got what he meant.

I put the two of my paws on his shoulders and he grabbed my butt. This time it was me who shuddered.

"What are you two doing?" Asola asked.

We both didn't respond because I don't know and Mike he said. He doesn't give a fuck.

Mike stood up and he was still holding me.

"Oh wow, it's nice to be tall," I said.

Then I felt something grab my paws. I looked and saw red circles coming out of Mike's shoulders and they grabbed my paws.

I didn't even try to question it.

Then I felt the same circle on my back.

Mike told me to relax my legs and I did trust his strength to hold me so I did.

I felt my legs land at something but I didn't see anything.

It was like I was standing on invisible ground.

"Hey Alawi look I don't want you to get scared but I will run fast and when I mean fast I will be even faster than a cheetah," Mike said.

The more time I spent with him the more I'm convinced that I don't want to question his words.

"HA LIK-" I heard Asola say for a second and in the next second we were 8 elephants away from her.

I looked in front of me and Mike didn't Like it.

He was so fast that I couldn't see everything was a blur.

But what confused me more was that I didn't feel the air that was supposed to smack me in the snout.

"You really are fast," I said.

"Cool right it's been a while since I gave someone a piggyback ride." He said.

"Won't you get tired fast if you continue like this?" I asked.

"Bro who do you think you're talking about." He said.

"Fair enough."

I was on Mike's back for about 15 minutes when he stopped.

"I think we reached our destination." He said.

I looked and we were in the middle of a feeding frenzy in a hyena tribe.

All of them were surprised at his sudden arrival and they began growling and they stopped even more surprised when they saw me.

"Well then hop down." He said and I got down from his back.

"Hey, are you guys a hyena tribe?" He asked the biggest female in the group.

"She flared her back even more and talked with a little growl. Compared to mike she was like a cub.

"Yes, what do you want strange creature." She said.

"Well, my good friend here Alawi." He pointed at me. "Was looking for another Tribe. So I brought him here. Take care of him please." He said.

He then looked at me.

"I'll be checking on you every once in a while if you need anything just tell me." He said.

"Mike I feel like I'm a vampire bat from how much you helped me in just a day," I said a little embarrassed.

"Hey, I had nothing better to do so I'll be leaving. Need anything?" He said.

"No thanks you did enough," I said back and Mike began walking away.

Mike's POV

Now that I'm done with Alawi let me see what's this that's been bothering me.

I checked the red wordless box that was popping now and then since I got here.

When I looked at it the words began forming.

Would you like to begin the quest: The Mother heart

I thought of it for a while and since I have nothing better to do I accepted the quest even though I don't know the rewards.

The was an indicator that said I have 30 seconds to run 1 kilometer in the north.

I managed to do it in 5. almost breaking the speed of sound in my way.

When the indicator told me that I reached my destination I found a cheetah in a very bad shape lying on the ground with her cubs who also looked skinnier than normal.

The cheetah saw me and she barely managed to get up and try to act threatening.

The box appeared.

Help who's in need

I walked slowly towards her.

"Don't come any closer." She said. I ignored her and continued walking.

When I was close enough she began punching me. I said punching because of how weak and dull her claws felt.

I grabbed her by the neck and she flinched.

"What's your name," I whispered to her ear and began stroking her neck.

"LEAVE I WON'T LET YOU TAKE MY CUBS. LEAVE." She screamed and pawed me harder.

I left her to hit me until she got tired. She landed on the ground sheathing and looking up at me.

I crouched to her to seem less intimidating.

"Now what's your name?" I asked her.

She hesitated for a moment.

"Ayota. Why did you come here." She said.

I told her my name and ignored her question.

The cubs began inching closer very slowly.

I looked at them.

"You can't ambush me," I said and turned back at the mother.

"You seem in a bad shape. Why is that?" I asked.

She got quiet.

"You can trust me I don't plan to hurt any of you," I said and that got her to calm down a little.

"I haven't been able to get food for the last four days because a hyena tribe always attacks me when I catch one," Ayota said.

"If you want to live you need to trust me and stay here," I said.

I got up and got away a little. The indicator began pointing in the direction of the cheetah again.

At least I can go anywhere without getting lost.

Let's begin the hunt.

With my unnatural speed, It wasn't hard to search for some cattle.

I stopped in my tracks.

I felt something watching me from the right.

I turned to see what is watching me and saw a rustling bush stopped moving.

I ran at it and a Hyena came out of it and tried to run away.

Figuring that I scared it enough I left it alone.

After running for a minute I found a couple of deers eating some grass away.

I shot at one of them and it didn't have time to react to my speed.

I bit its neck and rolled with it to the ground.

The other deer ran away but I needed just one.

I grabbed the dead deer and brought it back to the cheetah.

I threw the deer at her and sat down.

"This should be enough," I said.

Ayota just stared at it and her mind just stopped.

She wanted to say something but what came out was only stuttering.

Rewards:

The skill: Progression healing.

Progression healing.

This skill allows you some basic healing at the begging but if you get used to it you will unlock another type of better healing.

You will still have the basic healing which will take no mana but the unlocked healing will still take mana.

This skill has Ten improvements to its basic form.

"FUCKING FINALLY" I screamed and jumped in a winning position.

I saw the cheetahs looking at me and stopped their eating.

"Why did you do that?" Ayota asked.

I blushed a little.

"Don't mind me please," I said quietly and sat down again

In the next day, I got up and wanted to go to the north. Ayota warned me about the north if filled with wolf tribes but I didn't care after all it's me they will be dealing with if they attack.

An hour has passed since I left Ayota. The north wasn't that special so I didn't know why the wolves wanted to claim territories in this place.

"...help"

I stopped and focused on my hearing to see if I could hear the voice again.

"...Please"

As soon as my mind registered the sound direction I bolted as fast as I can.

I saw a pack of wolves circling something and laughing.

I heard whatever the thing the wolves surrounded crying.

I stopped in my place.

"Like something will come and help you." One of the wolves said.

"Yeah what will help a strange ape in the wolves' territory." Another one said.

"Strange ape... wha-!!!"

"THERE IS ANOTHER HUMAN HERE!!!" I screamed in my head.

I ran at the wolves.
