Books and Bestiality

As the school day came to a close, Twilight reflected on all the challenges she had faced that day. It was disorientating enough becoming some sort of odd creature and her boyfriend becoming a dog, but meeting others of the same species that resembled several people she knew back home and in a school of all places? It was all very bizarre, not to mention she had to somehow find a way to blend in in such a short amount of time, she didn't know the first thing about how the weird things at the end of her arms worked and they were the most basic tools that these creatures seemed to utilize. She was lucky in a sense that this place had a library and some kind of weird box that had moving pictures, it meant she could do some limited research.

The "creatures" in question were known as humans and like Twilight had guessed, they were some form of hairless ape. From what she had gathered their society worked much like Equestrian society did, only they were more advanced, Twilight also learned that the things at the end of her arms were called "hands", she wasn't all that surprised to find that they worked much like Spike's claws had worked back when he was a dragon. Before she could start thinking back on Sunset Shimmer and her plans for the next day she realized something, she didn't have anywhere to go for a good night's sleep. There were certainly no living facilities at the school and she didn't exactly know anyone well enough yet to ask if she could stay over, Twilight was also in the rather unfortunate position of not possessing the knowledge of the existence of hotels. She did consider briefly going back to Equestria for the sake of sleep, but didn't want to chance it in case Sunset Shimmer had some kind of contingency plan in place that would prevent her from coming back to retrieve her element of harmony.

She put down the book she was reading and after letting out a yawn she gasped at just how tired she was and said to Spike "I haven't even thought of where we're going to sleep tonight"

Spike looked at her and with a smile smile began walked to another part of the school library as he said "Way ahead of you". After following Spike to what was most definitely the most secluded and very dusty part of the library, Spike pulled away a cloth to reveal a makeshift bed he had made out of library books, he coughed and said "It's a little bit dusty, but it doesn't seem like anybody comes up here".

Twilight smiled at his ingenuity and said "It's perfect Spike".

As they both sat down Spike went "So, how did your research go?"

Twilight held up a big blue book with a picture of a yellow horse shoe on it and said "Well, I found this book, it's called a year book, it seems to be something they use to keep a record of things that have happened at the school, look..." Twilight pointed to a picture of a group of girls that they were both very familiar with "That's Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Fluttershy and I'm gonna bet the girl on the far right is Rarity".

Twilight waited for a lovey dovey response from Spike, but all he said was "Huh, interesting photo".

Twilight shrugged, assuming and relieved that clearly that ship had sailed for Spike and went "It's interesting because they look like they're friends"

Spike, mishearing her despite having the ears of a dog said "They do look like our friends, but I thought we'd figured that out already?"

Twilight clarified "No, I mean they look like they're friends with each other, but it doesn't seem like they're friends now", Twilight was clearly a bit disheartened that friendship didn't prevail everywhere.

Spike didn't help when he said "Not so much".

Twilight laid back on her temporary bed and said "I just can't help but get the feeling that Sunset Shimmer had something to do with it"

Spike agreed "I wouldn't put it past her..." as he started dragging the cover back up to use as a makeshift duvet "But she wanted your crown because she's planning on doing something even worse, if you're gonna stop her you have to focus on making friends here, you can't worry about why these girls aren't friends anymore". Spike laid down next to Twilight before continuing "Even if they do look like your Ponyville friends".

Twilight smiled and gave him a hug "You're right Spike, eye on the prize".
