“You are a young twenty one year old, decent looking stallion Pegasus with decent looking features I mean c’mon, I’m taller than most stallions. Well I take that back I hate my eyes.”

“Anyways let me continue. You have a mother, Rosemary Feathers who is gentle and kind.”

Your mother has a Rosemary colored coat and sported beautiful emerald colored eyes. Her cutie mark is a bunch of different flowers next to each other. She loves gardening.

“Also a father, Sunny Feathers who is abusive and just a general piece of shit.”

Your father has a lemon colored coat and sported cyan colored eyes. His cutie mark is two 2x4 planks making a X symbol with a hammer in the middle upright. He's a carpenter

“Let’s not forget about your dear and loving sister Lilly Feathers.”

Your sister has a magenta coat and sported emerald eyes. Her cutie mark on her flank is a bunch of cookies because she like baking.

You look down at the sink and and turn both faucets towards you. You start washing your face with warm water. Once finished you grab the towel hanging and wipe any water off of you.

“Everything has been going to shit lately and now I’m looking at a fucking mirror talking to myself.” You sigh quite loudly.

“I wonder if our next door neighbors can hear me talking through these paper thin walls.” You groan and walk out the bathroom.

As you were walking you got to thinking about what’s been happening the past couple of days

Many things haven’t been going so well lately. With having to move out of the house temporarily and now living in a musty smelling, dirty looking hotel for the time being.

I mean why couldn’t we just kick him out instead. But no, the authorities decide it’d be best to rent a hotel for a few days. It just makes no fucking sense.

You were lost in thought and didn’t contemplate what’s going on in front of you and end up bumping into something, rather someone.

“Uhhh Plat, you gotta pay attention to what’s in front of you little bro.” Lilly exclaims.

“My bad I was thinking about something.” You answer while looking down in the dumps.

Your sister looks away and sighs.

“I know how your feeling but aren’t you at least glad we’re away from him?” She reassures.

You look at Lilly and lightly push her as if a foal tried there hardest to let out there frustration on something.

“Of course I’m glad you bozo why wouldn’t I be happy knowing we’re away from that abusive bastard.” You chuckle lightly

As you and Lilly were laughing a door opened to your right.

“Hey! What did I say about swearing?” Your mother yells.

Both you and your sister stop laughing and look over towards your mother’s direction.

She isn’t angry it seems, because as of right now she’s smiling.

“Whaaaaat, mother you know I couldn’t have possibly swore knowing you could hear me through these paper thin walls.” You say in a posh accent.

All three of you started laughing in unison for a couple of seconds and once the laughter died down your mother spoke.

“Did both of you already pack up your things?”

You look at your sister knowing you already packed so you decide to answer first.

“Yeah I finished packing a couple of hours ago, how about you sis?” Asking Lilly who seems to be lost in her own world.

“Um well you see, the thing is, I had to go hang out with a few friends before telling them we’re going to be moving to a new place.” She looks at mother scared of a response.

“Lilly go pack your things right now. I told you to pack before you decide to even do anything yesterday.” She says while staring daggers into your sisters soul.

“Wait, wait, hold on just a minute. We’re moving into a different house? We’re not going back home?” You ask, a bit shocked from your sisters accidental announcement.

“Did Lilly not tell you Plat? Well we’ll be moving into a little town close by known as Ponyville. It’s within flying distance so we won’t need to take any type of transportation.” She says quite happily.

You look out the hotel window or what seems to be a window and talk out loud.

“I really don’t want to move but if it’s for the best, then onward we shall go.”

Lilly looks at you and snickers.

“That’s probably one of the dorkiest things you’ve said this month ha ha.”

You look towards your sister and and snap back softly.

“Well at least I packed all of my belongings bozo. One point for team Platinum.” You smirk.

Your sister looks at you with a more menacing smirk.

“Well at least I packed all of my belongings. Shut it you dolt, and stop acting like a colt. Ha, two points for team Lilly you loser.” She snaps back harder

“How am I acting like a colt when you just moc-.”

You were cut off.

“Lilly Feathers go pack right now! And platinum Feathers stop acting like a baby.” Mother smirks

“But she- I didn’t- she started it!” You retaliate but fail miserably.

“No excuses, stop acting like a foal and get ready to leave soon. You’re not even acting like your age, and you wonder why you haven’t found a special somepony. HaHaa, three points for team Rosemary.”

You look at your mom in defeat and sigh. As you turn around to go and grab your luggage you hear your sister yell In another room a bit muffled.

“NICE ONE MOM!”

“What am I gonna do with you two.” you say while smiling.

After grabbing your luggage you walk towards the front door and open it. Stepping outside you’re hit with a slightly cold breeze. You stand next to a run down fence and take out a cigarette.

“I guess moving isn’t such a bad idea.”

Taking in a puff you slowly let it out with a sigh.

Looking at the horizon you can’t help but feel relaxed. Leaving this place behind is gonna be a bit hurtful but hopefully a better life awaits in a town known as Ponyville.

Hearing a door open you look over and see your mother and sister. Finishing up the rest of the cigarette you toss it and step on it.

“Are you ready to go Plat?” Mother asks.

“Yeah I’m ready.” Answering her while grabbing your luggage.

Stretching your wings you slowly take flight. Your mother and Lilly follow suit and start taking flight as well.

ONE HOUR LATER

Up ahead you see ponies littering the roads of Ponyville. Living normal lives you wish you had. Approaching a bit closer you hear a few ponies laughing with each other.

“I wonder if there’s a bathroom nearby.” You mutter under your breath.

You really need us the restroom. Like really badly. Never the less, landing in front of a normal, peaceful looking town, you can’t help but feel like you’re at home for some odd reason. Hopefully ponies around here aren’t as bad as the ones in Manehattan.

Your mother looks around and her face lights up. She then looks at you and your sister and speaks.

“My beautiful daughter Lilly, and handsome son Platinum, I want the two of you to meet up with me in an hour at the mayors office up ahead over there.” Mother say in an angelic and soothing tone.

“I’m not handsome mother, I have two different colored eyes and one just so happens to match the color of that deadbeat of a father’s eyes.

Mother replies a bit angry with what you just said.

“One eye color may be different, but it’s what makes you, well you my dear son. You’re unique in a good way.”

She smiles and rubs a hoof across your face.

She seems to be in quite a good mood with all that has happened this past month.

Mother grabs both you and your sisters attention. She points in the direction of a huge looking building.

“That is where we will meet up. For now, during that hour, I want the two of you to look around and enjoy yourselves a bit, alright?”

You and your sister look at each other then reply in unison with hoofs across your foreheads.

“Yes MAM!”

You and your two family members laugh a little and once finished you and Lilly look at mother and she speaks.

“Alright you two, I have to go figure out where the house is and I’ll be back with you two in a bit.”

You look back at the huge looking building and in both directions you locate several stalls filled with foods and other essential needs. Farther up ahead to the right side you spot something. Not having super vision kind of sucks, regardless, you squint your eyes. Is that a flower shop? Definitely have to go to that shop in a little bit.

Thinking about all these stalls and stores has you lost in thought when suddenly you feel a little nudge in the right side of your body.

“Let’s split up for now, I see a few places I wanna check out already.” Lilly says in excitement.

“I do too, see ya then sis.” You reply.

Lilly walks towards a shop with a huge sign reading Sugarcube Corner’. It’s probably a little bakery shop. I doubt they cook cookies better than Lilly. You chuckle lightly at the thought of Lilly being one up’d in cooking her specialty. I mean c’mon she makes them almost every day.

Removing these funny thought out your mind you tilt your head upwards and look up into the sky. You see the sun start setting just a little bit. Along the horizon towards the shopping area you see multiple colors shining the stalls with a magnificent glare of rays. It’s quite the beautiful site to behold if you do say so yourself.

“Guess it’s time to go exploring in my new hometown.”

I know what your thinking and I know. My story isn’t that good but listen. This is my first time ever writing an actual story. If there’s anything wrong, or something that just doesn’t make sense please let me know. Criticism is welcome. Oh and chapters may come slowly because I’m currently busy with college things. It’s stupid of me to even write while I’m busy with college but who cares. Things will start to make sense in later chapters so please bear with me. Never the less please enjoy the read. :)
