TUESDAY, 6:00 PM

Taking a step out of a public restroom, you inhale at a reasonable pace and exhale at the same pace. You look to the side and grab your luggage that was waiting outside for you.

‘Nice I didn’t get robbed. But anyways, it’s amazing how clean these bathrooms are. I wonder how clean the mare’s restroom is.’

Walking away from the magnificent restroom you slowly move towards the market. You eyeball a few stalls worth looking at.

There’s quite a selection they have here.

‘gurrrrr’

Feeling a wave of a pain in your abdominal region you place your hoof on your stomach.

‘I guess I’m quite hungry. Almost forgot I haven’t ate all day, well besides those cookies Lilly made this morning.’

They’re good sis don’t get me wrong but. . .

Is that an apple stall?

Approaching the stall you stop in your tracks midway. From here you can see an orange mare with green looking eyes. Atop her noggin you see she’s wearing a Stetson, is that what it’s called? It’s a cow mare’s hat for celestia’s sake who cares what it’s called. She looks good wearing it.

My oh my she is quite the looker. To bad you don’t have the guts to actually start a conversation with her Plat.

I’ll just grab an apple, ask for how much it is, and give her the amount of bits she’ll want.

Stepping in front of the stall, you can see she’s about the size of a normal mare. Looking at her directly you are greeted with a beautiful smile and oh my celestia. The way those lips curl up adorn her beautiful cheeks. Those beautiful emerald eyes that go together with how wide they are. Everything about this mare is just amazing. Sheesh, you could look at her all day long.

"Ahem!"

Snapping out of your trance you realize what you've been doing.

"Let me try this again. Well Howdy there! Ah' don't think I've seen you around here before. Are ya new in town?" She asks gleefully.

‘That accent, could this be... Love?’

Looking away while rubbing the side of your neck with a hoof after that embarrassing scene you decide it’d be best to act casual.

"Yes I am actually. I'm moving into Ponyville with my family but I don't exactly know where we'll be living. At the moment I'm just exploring the town a bit." You answer in an embarrassed tone.

Well there you go plat, you ruined yet another oppurtunity. Why is talking to somepony in the opposite gender kind of hard.

"Well if thats tha' case, let me introduce ma’self. The names Applejack, nice ta meet ya. Oh and here ya go. On the house for a new resident of Ponyville. Just so ya know, these are the best tasting apples you’ll ever taste in all of Equestria." She says while smiling even wider.

Wanting to test her theory out, you accept the apple from her hoof and take a medium sized bite from it.

*crunch*

*munch* *munch*

You chew a little more than you need to. Enjoying every taste you could get out of this amazing substance. You can’t help but close your eyes and let out a moan.

“Mmmmmm”

You swallow

*gulp*

You breathe in and out but before you could open your eyes you hear an adorable giggle coming from in front of you.

“Aha ha ha, I told ya! One of the best apples in all of Equestria!” She says with a smile full of confidence.

Not only did she just have a confident smile, she also wore a smile that said “I told you so” and “You know I’m not wrong”.

Not knowing what to say you look at her and and let out a small giggle. You don’t realize it yet but your cheeks now have a slight burning sensation.

Returning to your usual self, you breathe in and out once again. Before even uttering a single word you notice she’s looking at you with extreme concentration.

‘I wonder what she’s looking at. Is there something on my face?’

“Um is there something wrong Applejack?” You ask in marvel.

‘Well ain’t he a handsome feller’

She utters something under her breath but you can’t hear what she said. Not wanting to just stand there looking at you like you did to he earlier. She clears her throat and speaks.

“Ah’m sorry sir but those eyes of yours. Ah’ve never seen anything quite like that before. Are ya perhaps blind in one eye?”

Realizing what she’s saying you answer back.

“Oh these?”

You point a hoof towards your eyes.

“I have heterochromia iridium. It’s when you have multicolored irises. Thankfully I’m not blind in neither of my eyes. I see pretty clearly. Twenty twenty vision. Oh and my names Platinum, but you can call me Plat, nice to meet you too.” You answer with a smile.

She’s seems incredibly friendly for a stranger. Well she’s not much of stranger now that both you and her just exchanged names. Hopefully other ponies here are just like Applejack.

Looking at applejack once again you notice she’s blushing a little bit and looking directly at you. Wondering what’s wrong with her you speak.

“Uh you okay Applejack?”

She’s a bit alarmed at your question probably because she was lost in thought but soon after, she answers.

“Well ya see, ah’m not goin ta lie Platinum er uh Plat, you’re quite the looker. Not only that but you’re also quite tall. Probably as tall as my brother Big Macintosh.”

Surprised from her sudden compliment you can’t help but blush a little. Well not a little because you can definitely feel a strong burning sensation going on within your cheeks.

“Wow um, thank you Applejack, I uh- I don’t even know what to say.” You answer her quite awkwardly.

But someone as tall as you? That’s quite rare to see. I bet I’m taller than him.

Both of you are quiet and not a word was said for more than a few seconds.

Not being able to handle this tension you decide it’d be best to compliment her as thanks.

“I think you’re quite the looker yourself too Applejack.” You answer while blushing profusely.

“Gee um uh-, thank you as well Plat.” She answers right back also blushing profusely while looking away.

Not wanting this situation to get any more awkward thank it already is, you speak up a bit loudly and rather quickly.

“Well it’s been nice meeting you Applejack, Ima head out to view the market a little more before I have to go do what I actually came to do here soon. See ya around.”

You wave a goodbye to her and she replies with one back.

“See ya around Plat. It’s been nice meeting you too.”

Looking at the watch on your left hood you see it’s 6:30 PM.

‘Was I really talking to her for that long?’

Returning to your usual self you start hitting up other stalls. There was a stall for bread, another for alcohol. Would you look at that, a candy stall.

‘All the foods here smell wonderful. Is that a burger joint? That apple was good but it wasn’t enough to fill me up’

TEN MINUTES LATER

~~~~

“I haven’t had a hay burger in awhile.” You announce to no one in particular.

Looking around you, you realize something. Most of the ponies here are mares. Just like most cities and towns, the stallion to mare ratio is always down to the mares but this town. This town has a majority population of mares.

‘Well that’s quite weird.’

Now that you think about it. Maybe that’s why Applejack was a bit awkward towards the end of our ahem, awkward conversation.

“Well that’s interesting.” You mutter under your breath.

Looking at your watch you see it’s 6:45 PM.

‘Almost forgot, I still need to hit that flower shop down the market.’

TEN MINUTES LATER

You exit the flower shop with a small bag hanging onto your luggage. You look at your watch again for the third time today. It’s 6:55 PM. You open your bag and view the contents you’ve bought from the store.

‘Some lilly flower seeds, and some Rosemary flower seeds. Mother is going to love this. Guess it’s time to head to the mayors office.’

Looking ahead you realize you’re pretty far from there. Like across town far.

Spreading your wings to take flight you fly at an extremely fast speed toward your destination.

Looking at your watch once again for the fourth time today you can see it’s still 6:55 PM. You arrived here pretty quickly.

‘I wonder what my mother and sister are doing.’

Thinking about what they are doing you hear something.

‘FWOOSH’

You are hit with a strong unexpected gust of wind. You turn towards the direction the wind came from and don’t see anything.

‘What was that wind about? Is it always like this here?’

No longer alarmed, you turn to the direction you were previously looking at. All of a sudden you were alarmed once again when somepony yells somewhere above you.

“WHERE DID THAT PONY GOO! Do they think there faster than meee? Faster than THE RAINBOW DASH! NOT ON MY WATCH!”

Shocked on what the cyan mare hovering up above was on about, you get her attention by somewhat yelling in her direction.

“HEY miss, is there something the matter?” You ask In bewilderment.

She zooms towards you at an exuberant speed and stops in front of you. A foot from where you were standing. Suddenly A gust of wind with a mixture of dirt also flies towards you causing you to start coughing a little.

She’s definitely the one that caused that huge gust of wind to hit me.

“Hey mister uhh- I don’t think I’ve seen you around Ponyville before.” She states.

She shakes her head left to right numerous times.

Before you could answer talks.

“Wait, wait, wait, I don’t have time for greetings. Anyways, have you seen somepony flying in this direction? They zoomed past me while I was laying on my cloud bed and ruined my nap!” She yells.

Thinking about her question, you don’t think anypony zoomed in this direction. Unless they were really fast and you happened to not see.

“I haven’t seen anypony fly in this direction.”

‘Oh wait hold on, that was me.’

Realizing now that you just so happened to ruin her slumber, you can’t help but feel a bit apologetic.

“Actually that was me who ruined your nap, my apologies miss umm, what was your name?” You ask in wonder.

She looks at you dumbfounded as if you were supposed to know who she is.

“You’re telling me you don’t know who I am? I’m THE RAINBOW DASH! Up and coming wonderbolt.” She says loudly with a cocky grin.

“Can’t say that I have no. My names Platinum though. Nice to meet you Rainbow Dash and again, I’m sorry about what I did.” You reply flatly but with a sincere tone.

She looks at you embarrassed and see a blush forming on her cheeks.

“Oh I see, heh. Wellll I guess I can forgive you. That is, if you race me.” She says with another cocky grin.

“Sorry but no can do, I’ve got stuff that I need to do with my family and I can’t spare time to race at the moment. I just moved here recently and by recently I mean about an hour ago. Alrhough I don’t know where my house is. How about this weekend?”

She looks at you with a frustrated yet calm expression.

“I guess that’s fine, but you BETTER show up to race me. I’ll be above the burger spot on top of a cloud most likely taking a nap. Come see me whenever your free. Oh and another thing, you might wanna be careful because my friend Pinking Pie is gonna wanna throw you a party. And with the way she acts you definitely can’t miss her. So be warned. See ya soon hot stuff.”

You look at her with surprise and she does the same towards you but instead, her cheeks are extremely pink.

“I mean I’m- uh- you- I’LL SEE YOU SOON DOOD! DOMT BE LATE!” She yells loudly as she trails off.

What a weird mare you thought. With adrenaline from what she just said you say something without realizing what you’re about to say as she’s flying away.

“THANK YOU FOR THE COMPLIMENT! I ALSO THINK YOUR KIND OF HOT TOO!” You reply.

‘Did I really just say that? Gosh that’s embarrassing.’

TWELVE MINUTES LATER

~~~~

“HEYA PLAT!”

You hear a familiar voice scream near the direction towards the market.

“Oh hey Lilly, did you enjoy your time here?” You ask with wonder.

“You bet your sweet bippy I did!” She replies.

Lilly shows you a bag filled with a bunch of pastries and a ton of cookies to the side of them.

“So I went to sugar cube corner and met the Cake family. There were two adorable foals trying to make cupcakes. It was soooo adorable. Oh and I also bought these goodies while I was there. For a discount because I’m a new resident of Ponyville.” She says really fast with excitement.

‘Sheesh she seems pretty hyper all of a sudden. What’s gotten into her?’

To your left you hear hopping. The hopping noise seems to be approaching rather quickly. Turning your head you see a pink mare, earth pony with poofy pink hair. She’s standing right in front of you a few inches from your face.

“HI THERE! IM PINKI PIE! NICE TO MEET YOU! YOUR SISTER HERE SAYS YOU, HER AND YOUR MOTHER WILL BE MOVING HERE TODAY! AND since you three are going to be new residents here in Ponyville. IM GOING TO THROW A SUPER DUPER OOPER WONDERFUL PARTY ON FRIDAY!” She yells very quickly with excitement.

Surprised and shocked at the sudden friendly, funny outburst from this pink mare. You can’t help but laugh a little.

“Nice to meet you too Pinkie Pie. My names Platinum Feathers. But you can call me Plat.” You reply to her very first statement.

“I can’t wait to throw you three a party! I’m going to make everypony an invitation and I’ll be preparing a ton of stuff. I’ll set up a ton of food and games and special drinks and other amazing funtastical stuff. Guess I’ll be seeing you three this Friday! See yaaaaa!” She says while also zooming off quickly just like that beautiful cyan pegasus.

‘Pinkie Pie is quite attractive too. All the mares here are attractive. Thank you celestia for allowing me to live during a time like this. Wait a minute, that’s Rainbow Dash’s friend isn’t it.’

Turning towards your sister you see that she’s laughing very loudly. Once her laughter dies down she looks at you and speaks.

“That’s Pinkie Pie, she’s really friendly. Not only is she friendly Plat, she’s also really really attractive.”

“Yea I noticed.” You reply giggling

“A mare like her is way out of your league.” She says plainly while smiling.

‘I don’t think she’s out of my league but she’s a little to hyper for my liking it seems. I gotta tell Lilly about those two beautiful mares earlier. She’s gonna be in for a surprise.’

This story is going to be quite long and I’ll be updating each chapter slowly to fix mistakes. Chapters will come out probably every week but who knows. If I’m feeling good I’ll realize one early. Like I said in the story description there will be two routes you can choose from. The question is, who will you choose???
