"This is something alight." Flash Sentry said as he and the other stallions that are the special someponies of the main six were making preparations for the double wedding that would take place in a week.

"Yeah it is. Plus each one of our special girls seems to have gotten pregnant at the same time." Carmel said.

"You and Applejack have got married last month right?" Cheese Sandwich asked.

"Eeyep." Carmel said. "Big Mac thought I was just using her though considering I'm no farm pony. But Applejack was okay with that." He added.

"He's singing a much different tune now though isn't he? Especially with Granny Smith getting up there in years." Soarin said.

"Yep. So, how often do you think Rainbow Dash is going to be able to be with her child?" Carmel said.

"Spitfire was able to work out a schedule that works for when the baby is old enough. Of course she'd do this for Dash. Plus, Dash's parents decided to help us take care of them too." Soarin said.

"You two really are just meant for each other. You've got a plan all figured out." Flash Sentry said.

"I could say the same for you and Twilight. Especially since it was revealed that your having twins!" Soarin said. Flash Sentry laughed nerviously. Oh he could remember when he and his wife went to the doctors wondering why Twilight was already having mood swings despite her pregnancy not being that far along yet.

Earlier that week...

"TWINS!?"

Twilight had shouted in the patented royal canterlot voice.

"Yes your highness...err...Twilight." Nurse Redheart said. "Your expecting Twins. That explains why your mood swings are happening now instead of later." She added.

"T-twins?!" Flash Sentry exclaimed. Twilight had made it a royal order that she didn't want to know the sex of her child until the baby was born, and now, to find out she's having two children was something else.

"Geez Flash...you sure wanted to have children huh?" Twilight teased her husband.

"...Really now? Really?" Nurse Redheart asked.

"Mood swings." Flash said simply.

"...I'm used to expected mothers basically balling their eyes out, getting angry, and all sorts of other things. But never once have I ever seen an expected mare tease the father of her children." Nurse Redheart said. "Especially not Celestia..."

"YOUR THE ONE WHO DELIVERED CELESTIA'S..." Twilight was shouting in the royal voice but was stopped by Flash.

"Secret! Remember! What do you wanna do; notify everyone in ponyville about them?" Flash Sentry asked.

"R-right...sorry..." Twilght said, calming herself down.

"...Yes...that was me who...you know." Nurse Redheart said. "That was supposed to be a secret though..." She added.

"Don't worry Nurse Redheart. I think I can keep this fact under my mane until Celestia releases a public statement about...you know." Twilight said.

"Thank you Twilight. Your such a good friend." Nurse Redheart said.

"She is the Princess of Friendship." Flash Sentry said, though it was said nervously.

Present day...

"Hey, if Twilight is the Princess of Friendship, wouldn't that make you the Prince of Friendship?" Soarin asked Flash Sentry.

"I don't know if I can live up to something like that." Flash Sentry said. "After all, my wife earned her title twice over." He added.

"Don't be so insecure. You'll do great as the Prince of Friendship. And you won't have to do it alone. We can help." Carmel said.

"Thanks but...I think I need some time to think on it is all." Flash Sentry said.

But little did any of them realize, this conversation was picked up by a certain pegasus that had been living at the castle of friendship for some time now.

Cozy Glow was seemingly setting up some stuff while a black shadow watched her.

"I find what your doing just counterproductive, but then again, considering what you really are..." The Black Shadow said.

"I'm just doing what is needed. Flash Sentry's insecurities about his future are growing. And soon, he'll need to step up in his wife's place." Cozy Glow said. "Especially once I get this going." She added.

"Why do you continue to hide what you really are, Cozy Glow?" The Black Shadow asked.

"Because that way, Flash Sentry won't feel bad when he outsmarts me. Trust me, I'm trying to actually fail here." Cozy Glow said.

"Seems pretty odd still...are you sure you'd rather not have me do this in your place?" The Black Shadow said.

"You may be my counter part, but last I checked, you still need to find the mortal whose destined to take over your role." Cozy Glow said. "...Unless you've already found them. Which knowing you, your close to finding them aren't you..." She paused for emphasis. "...God of Darkness~" She added.

"You know me well." The God of Darkness said.

"I kind of have to. After all, you are my counterpart." Cozy Glow said. For a brief moment her eyes were yellow instead of red but they returned to being red shortly after.

"Are you sure we should be talking about this? Given how the multiverse works, there could be someone reading what we're saying as a story right now." The God of Darkness said.

"So? I say let them read our conversation." Cozy Glow said. "After all...they should already know who I really am based on the context clues they've been reading~" She added. Not to far from Cozy Glow's preparation station was a single book; the title obscured from view.

"This is getting meta suddenly. I think we need to tone it down." The God of Darkness said.

"Well look at you, holding yourself back. Won't be long until your ready." Cozy Glow said. "Can't wait to meet them; whose going to take over your position I mean." She added.

"I'm sure you can't." The God of Darkness then left.

"...Darn, I don't have enough ingredients to finish my preparations. It'll take me three days to get more." Cozy Glow said. "...Well nothing for it. Off I go." Cozy Glow said. After she left the room, while the viewing was still on that room and the book that had it's title obscured, a bright flash of pure light could be seen.

So now you know why this was supposed to be a slice of life week thing going on. And yeah, I know the last bits was essentially meta commentary (especially the three day wait mention), but this kind of goes with my whole "multi-verse" direction that I've been taking things.
