Author's Note

Just like with the second cut episode, this was meant to be a sequel episode to another episode that greatly featured Second Pariculum as that episode had featured Second Pariculum in great detail. However, this is an episode that's heavily effect by the fact that an episode that featured Second Pariculum as a main character as that episode was essentially this story's version of the Kirin episode from the show. As such, this is probably the most effected episode that doesn't feature the stallion as there are mentions of things that happened in the other episode. As a reminder, this episode occurs BEFORE Second Periculum is killed by his father Insightful Wrath.

The Cut Season: Episode 4 - Kirins in Equestria

"I am glad that you would agree to meet with me on short notice." Rain Shine said.

"Well right now, Twilight said that there's something a fox that showed up in our area said that bothers her. For now, we just want to have a talk." Celestia said.

"I am surprised at how a couple sent from Ponyville was able to befriend Kirin like that. Perhaps we have lived in isolation for far too long." Rain Shine said.

"Agreed. That is why I am having this discussion with you. It'll take me some time, but I believe that Kirins can come to be accepted in Equestria." Celestia said.

"Good. We Kirin once hated our Nirik forms; seeing them as a sign of evil. But now we know better thanks to Autum Blaze and those two unicorns, we know better now." Rain Shine said.

"Speaking of Kirin...Twilight told me that you were created by crossbreeding between Ponies and Dragons." Celestia said.

"That's correct." Rain Shine said.

"Well then, there's a certain other couple you should be meeting, and I told them to come by to meet with you." Celestia said.

Meanwhile, Spike and Sweetie Belle were walking to the room where Celestia and Rain Shine were having their discussion.

"...And that's when Twilight revealed to me that I'm a virtue dragon. There's still some research she has to do, but I'm apparently a much different type of dragon." Spike said.

"What's that got to do with your age again?" Sweetie Belle asked.

"It means that my age; while still slower then normal; makes it so I won't die until the last of my mates die, but Twilight got interupted by that fox named Rob Snowden before she could find out more." Spike said.

"I wonder if your a kind of dragon that can have upwards to like fifteen mates or something." Sweetie Belle said.

"Wouldn't that be something." Spike said. The young couple soon entered the room.

"...Oh! I see what you mean now." Rain Shine said.

"Wow, it's a Kirin! Sis told me about them once she got back with Second Pariculum." Sweetie Belle said, looking at Rain Shine.

"You must be the sister the one named Rarity mentioned. I am the leader of the Kirin. Call me Rain Shine." Rain Shine said.

"My name's Sweetie Belle. This here's my very special somepony Spike. We're planning on getting married once we're old enough to have sex." Sweetie Belle said.

"Hmm? I thought ponies your age sexually matured at the age of sixteen." Rain Shine asked.

"They do; while the legal age for sex is sixteen, the legal marriage age is eighteen." Spike said.

"That's just wrong. Who knows what could happen in those two years." Rain Shine said.

"We're pretty sure things won't change too much in two years. We've been having such a wonderful time together as a young couple, that we doubt two years is going to change things." Sweetie Belle said.

"You say that, but far too often I have seen things happen that test a couple's patience with one another far too often at your young ages." Rain Shine said. "That's why I'm so surprised you two are so sure." She added.

"This just feels right. If we could, we'd get married right now just to get it done and over with. Because we just love each other that much. Right my sweet?" Spike asked Sweetie Belle said.

"You got it my drake." Sweetie Belle said, going up to Spike and the two shared the most wonderful kiss Rain Shine has ever seen before in her life.

"This...this is too beautiful..." Rain Shine said, unable to hold back the floodgates of her tears. Celestia bit her lip.

"...I agree completely. I shall start making a new royal decree right away." Celestia said. "Once it is finished, I will be lowering the legal marriage age to sixteen." She added.

"You...you mean?" Sweetie Belle asked. Celestia nodded.

"Isn't this the most wonderful thing ever?" Spike asked his future wife.

"Beyond a shadow of a doubt it is, my handsome drake." Sweetie Belle said.

"I am glad you think so, my darling sweet." Spike said and the two kissed once more. The kiss caused Rain Shine to cry even harder.

"THIS IS TOO BEAUTIFUL! SOMEONE GET ME SOMETHING TO DRY MY EYES!" Rain Shine shouted as she continued turning Celestia's throne room into an ocean with the Kirin's tears.
