100 years before 1000th Summer Sun celebration

In a land far far away, where no creature dared to live there, which called "the death land". Deep inside an abandoned mine, a dark, creepy creature sat there as many eggs were laid. That dark female creature was very happy to be the queen of her new hive. She had spent days to laid those eggs and it was worth it.

Chrysalis-the creature, who had just designed this hive a month ago, was not a very happy creature, instead, she lusted for so many things in her life. Her wills were strong and she would do anything to reject any creature that dared to stand in her way. But that didn't mean she didn't love her children, she loved them as long as they follow and respect her

'Finally, this day has come. With the newly hatched changelings, I'll train them and conquer the world.' Thought Chrysalis as she chuckled

Cleaned herself, she decided to go to her chamber, but something was wrong. Her instinct told her to look for that thing. After a while of searching, the "object" appeared before her eyes. It was an egg with different material

" Well I have no idea about what this gonna be. Maybe it just had a little different DNA, the egg still looked like changeling egg but with different color and material". Chrysalis murmured to herself.

The soon-going-to-be queen walked to her room with the egg in her magic. Opened the door to her chamber, she gently put it in the corner of the bed and sat down next to the egg, carefully not to cause any harm for her child. Looked at it curiously, the changeling wonder if this child had something better than the others

"A while of rest would be nice but I still have to prepare nursery it's still haven't completed yet". Said Chrysalis to herself

Exited her chamber, the queen went to check her works. The hive still had some problems, which could be dangerous for her children. That's why she had to rebuild some parts to keep it safe for the hatchlings

-----------_______2 weeks later_______-----------

The date had come, Chrysalis had worked hard for this day which the eggs would be hatched. Walked through the hall full of cracked eggs, she got to her room and was so excited to see her special child. At the moment in the room, the egg began to crack, one crack then followed next crack. Until the egg was fully separated, a little changeling appeared in sight.

Chrysalis wasn't there in time to fully watch her child hatched. But enough to saw her daughter tried to get out of the egg .Her chitin was purple, which differed from the normal original changelings, but this wasn't the most surprising to her. After checking everything, she was very sure that her daughter was a royalty, which got a low chance in birth

'That was unexpected. I haven't thought that I would birth a royalty on my first try. I'll have to tell mom about this. She is going to be happy to have a grandchild for herself'. Thought Chrysalis.

Noticed that her daughter was looking at her curiously, she gave her a nuzzle then held her close in her holes hoofs as she heard her squeak. Looked into her eyes, a beautiful soft lavender iris, which shine-like star when she studied the queen actions. The eyes reminded her about the stars on the beautiful horizon at midnight. And her mane was dark alongside pink and purple strip, it also reminded her about the twilight. Then an interesting thought went into her mind

"You reminded me so much about the night sky, now I know what your name going to be. From now on you are "Twilight Sparkle", a beautiful name for you" said Chrysalis as she nuzzled Twilight once more.

----------_______5 years later in Meadow Hive_______----------

Within the dark, threatening and dangerous Elimu forest, famous for the unknown creature which can kill any creature dare step into their home. Deep inside it was a hive which Chrysalis spend her childhood. The hive got a peaceful atmosphere. But that didn't mean it's not dangerous, it still could make the uninvited creature chill when they got lost in the forest

Queen Dranix, the ruler of this hive, was sitting on the throne with a lot of paperwork to deal with. Suddenly a voice grew in the hive mind

"My queen, your daughter just came here a while ago with a very young-ling. Shall we let her in?"

"Yes, we shall. I heard she bear royalty. I haven't met her for a while so this is a great chance to meet my granddaughter"

"Yes, my queen. I'll inform the guard to let them in"

"Also, tell the guard to prepare them a room next to my chamber, I want to spend as much as time for my family"

It took a while until the doors to the throne room opened, review Chrysalis and her daughter, Twilight Sparkle

"I guess you already got the good news, mother". Said Chrysalis to her mother

"Of course, it's the best news I can get from you, you know that right?"

"Yeah yeah, you always said that you wanted a grandchild and I was your only daughter" Chrysalis rolled her eyes.

"No joke anymore, daughter just get to the point. How long will you stay here?" Asked Dranix, her expression changed to solemn

"I have a hive to rule, so I only have 4 or 5 days to stay but I think it's enough time for you to meet and understand your granddaughter"

"I will try as much as I can to get to know my granddaughter, of course, she is what I wanted most from you"

'I'll get back to my room with my daughter so no disturb unless something important. Is that clear?' Dranix contacted the hive mind

'Crystal, my queen' Answered the drones

As they got back to her chamber, she took a look at her grandchild.

"She got your eyes, such beautiful eyes. Hello little one, I'm your grandmother" the little changeling giggled "Let's get to know each other dear. Do you like animals?" Said Dranix as she gave her a stuffed bear

Her grandaughter embraced the bear, nuzzled it. While the bear got all her attention, Chrysalis and Dranix just stood there and looked at her. Dranix wish had come true, she had need nothing more than an heir to spread more changelings over the world and to expand her race
