Life of a human turned dragon in Ponyville

"Hi, my name's Hunter, what's yours?" I asked the group in general. Even though I was still steaming at how Rainbow Dash had just attacked me without giving me a chance. Also if you could say you've been rubbed sore by things people have done to you, then I was pretty raw. I mean sure they had seemed genuinely sorry, and I guess I can under stand why they restrained me, but the principle of the matter is that they had assaulted me in my own home, and If I had still been on Earth the I would have responded by calling the police and pressing charges.

Hmm maybe I will press charges, or at least report them, we'll see, I guess they are the Elements now, and I really don't want to get into any legal issues. At the thought of all the paperwork that would come with that I quickly filed that thought away into the last, last resorts file in my brain. (Yes I have a list of last resort plans, and most plans involving paperwork find themselves at the bottom.) Meanwhile, Spike had decided that he would be the first one to introduce themselves.

"Hi Hunter my name's Spike!" he said in what I could only describe as absolute joy. After that his features seemed to wilt a little. "And like I said I'm truly sorry about what happened to you, I'm actually surprised you're talking to us after what we did... I know I would be holding a pretty serious grudge right now..." Spike finished, lowering his head in apology.

Now, While I wont forgive the ponies as easily, I decided that I would cut some slack with the little guy, seeing as he was still a kid, and most likely not involved in the whole thing. So, letting my frown lessen a little, and deciding I wouldn't hold anything against him I let out a sigh and placed my hand on his shoulder. "I know you are Spike, I know you are, and while I wont be able to forgive them anytime soon, I can say that without a doubt I'm willing to give you a chance." He jerked his head up with a look of shock on his face which was then replaced with a smile that could give pinkie a run for her money.

"(Sniff) R-Really?" he asked tearing up, to which I nodded. "W-wow, I finally get to know another dragon!" I smiled knowing I had just made the little dude's day. "Could you teach me some more about being a dragon, like how long it will take me to reach our size? or what the dragon lands are like? or, or, well everything really!" That brought my mind to a halt, but while I was trying to figure what to say without revealing my predicament just yet, Twilight decided to cut in, and while convenient, it still wiped the smile right off my face. I may have calmed down, and I may be acting civil about the whole matter, but I was still pretty freaking mad.

"Spike, I know your excited but I think we should all introduce ourselves before asking any questions." said twilight before she turned her attention from Spike to me, Grimacing as she saw my frown return. "Mister Hunter, My name is Twilight Sparkle, personal student of Princess Celestia an." I cut her off right there.

"Ok, sorry to interrupt, but before any of that I need to check on Wolf." I said as I Straightened up into a bipedal position and walking around the group over to said dog, and, after feeling for any broken ribs, and realizing he was breathing normally I calmed down a little bit more. "Sorry, I should have checked on him as soon as I came back, but I've got a lot on my mind."

"Its allright, I understand, and don't worry. Fluttershy asked him if he was allright when he woke up not long after the eherm accident, and after a quick explanation and her assuring him we weren't going to hurt you she gave him something to help him recover, that's why he's still asleep. The medicine she used helps animals sleep for awhile while they recover." Replied twilight with a small smile." Said twilight while gesturing towards said pony.

"Is it true that he wasn't seriously hurt and that he'll be fine?" Hiding behind her mane, shaking slightly she nodded. "Well, thank you, I still don't know if I can forgive you or not, but, thank you for checking on him, he means a great deal to me." I said, and then she smiled a little and let out a whispered thankyou, but somehow I heard it, though I don't know how, but I hard it. "So, now that that's taken care of, you can continue with the introductions." I said as I sat down like the ponies again, idly running a hand along Wolf's side.

"Well, like I was saying, my name is Twilight Sparkle, personal student to princess celesta, and, again like I said I'm very sorry for restraining you like we did, but, like I said I didn't know If you would attack us once you woke up, and since my magic doesn't work on a dragon your size I decided that tying you up was the best option." She said as her ears laid back against the back of her head. But what caught my attention was the last part of her statement.

"So.. your saying that you're the one who suggested tying me up? How many of you agreed with her?" I asked glairing from pony to pony. "Well? I'm waiting." I said continuing my glair. Everyone other than Spike and Pinkie Pie raised their hooves. Wow, ok then, so, out of all of you only Spike and Pinkie here actually gave me the benefit of the doubt." I said getting sad nods as an answer.

"Hey, how did you know my name was Pinkie? Are you a psychic?! Can you rear minds?!" called out Pinkie Pie as all her friends turned toward her then towards me, silently asking the same question, or at least the first part.

"I didn't know your name was really Pinkie, but because you are by all means, pink, that's what I decided to call you." I replied getting nods from the rest of the group. Whew, that was a close one. I thought before Applejack stepped forward.

"The name's Applejack and I truly am sorry for what we did to ya, can you forgive me?" She asked putting her hoof up for a shake. I starred at it for a second and the replied with a straight face. "I don't know, maybe someday, but yall did me a great injustice by doing what ya did, and I'm still plenty mad about it, so for now, no, I'm sorry but no I cant accept your apology, honestly other than Spike and apparently Pinkie I don't think I'll be able to forgive this for quite awhile, if at all." She put her hoof down and wilted at that, along with the others, but she nodded in understanding.

"Ah understand, it pains me, but I understand, just know, that you'll have friends among me and my family should you decide you can forgive us." Applejack said with a sad smile. that's when the others decided to agree while introducing themselves.

"Yup, names Big Macintosh, but you can call me Mac, and like sis said, I would be glad to consider you a friend if you would have me." replied Mac as I gave him a nod still with a straight face.

"Applejack is quite right mister Hunter, and I do apologize for my uncouth decision in agreeing with the plan of restraining you. Oh! where are my manners, my name is Rarity Bell, and it is a pleasure to meet you, should you ever need any of your ensemble repaired, or should you need anything made for that matter, then stop by the Carousel Boutique in Ponyville, free of charge. I am the owner, and I hope to find some way of repaying my wrongdoings!" I actually smiled a little at that, I may not be into fashion or anything, but this was the first time anyone was offering to repay me in any way, and I'll admit, I appreciated the gesture. "Allright Rarity, that sounds reasonable, you cant by my forgiveness, but its a start." I said as Rainbow spoke next.

"Name's Rainbow Dash fastest flier in Equestria! Like I said, I over reacted, and I'm sorry, so, we good?" A scowl made itself known on my face immediately. "No we are not 'good'. You attacked me in my home, which lead to me and my dog both getting hurt, so no, we wont be 'good' for awhile." I replied.

Next Fluttershy squeaked out her name almost exactly like how she did in the show, along with a short apology. but I heard it fine, a little quieter but It was still clear. "Well Fluttershy, thank you again for checking on Wolf, and again, it will take some time, but I might be able to forgive you guys one of these days." I replied, when everyone including Fluttershy looked at me in shock I replied. "Dragon hearing is better than a pony's I guess" I said, earning nods from the ponies and an "I knew it" from Spike. which made all of us chuckle.

"Well" said Twilight "I guess it's time we head on out, I think we all need to think about what happened today. I along with the ponies nodded while Spike spoke up "But Twilight! I didn't get to ask any questions" I chuckled at that earning me a glair from the little dude.

"Hey, don't worry about it dude, I don't plan on going anywhere, so If you guys can promise to be civil next time, you're welcome to stop by." I said earning smiles and nods from everyone.

"Well, If We get a chance, spike and I will stop by some time tomorrow after lunch. Said Twilight, to which I nodded. The others said they would be too busy with work to stop by, which I was immensely grateful for. "Well, come on everypony, its getting late, and I'm sure Hunter would like some peace and quiet." Twilight said as she trotted out the door. With Spike on her back looking towards me waving enthusiastically, I gave him a two fingered salute which he copied making me chuckle.

After everyone had left I shut the door, locked it, then walked over to the couch and lied down. Well, definitely not what I was expecting, but at least I've met the ponies I know anything about, so, I guess I've got that going for me. I thought until I felt something cold on my hand jerking my head over I saw hat wolf had woken up and was just sitting there without any signs of pain. "Hey boy, glad to se you're doing better! To bad this headache of mine wont go away." Man, I've been hit hard before, yet this is the first Time I've black out from just hitting my head on something.. what did I hit my head on anyway? I asked myself reaching up and feeling around my head trying to find a bump or something, but I didn't notice any pain until. "Oww!!" I yelled out after hitting my left horn. feeling it again I could tell my headache was centered around the base of it. "Well, I guess that answers that, but it seems strange that a dragons horns would be a weak point... well, no matter Ill figure it out eventually." I said as I noticed the sun was getting low in the sky, so deciding that I should get some rest. I fed Wolf for the night, went up to my bedroom, stripped, and lied down on my bed. Aafter finding that I couldn't sleep on my back without giving me some pain in my wings I flopped over onto my stomach and finally, after having one of the most hectic days of my life, fell asleep while thinking. Tomorrow, I'm telling Twilight about my transformation tomorrow...
