Today was the day for Rainbow to show Soarin the surprise she had been planning. They had a little time to themselves since the surprise would start at noon. Rainbow had told Soarin that they would need to take a train ride to Fillydelphia. He questioned why they couldn't just fly there, but Rainbow insisted that they take a ride since it would be more relaxing. Fillydelphia was pretty far.

The cyan pegasus estimated that it would take at least an hour from the train to their actual destination, so she decided that they should leave at eleven, maybe even a few minutes sooner.

Soarin saw the clock which told them they had only ten minutes before they would have to go. "Rainbow, are you almost done packing up your bits?"

"Don't worry. I'm ready when you are. I got my stash right here."

The mare showed the stallion the amount of bits she had which made his eyes widen in shock. "Rainbow, how do you have so many?"

Rainbow put the bag around her body to carry it. "I've been saving it for a special occasion. I figured that we would have one soon. Plus, being a part of the Wonderbolts help with gaining a lot."

Rainbow realized that she almost forgot something. If she wanted to make the most out of this special night, she would need to have this one object.

The cyan mare flew out of the room and took a while to find this device before returning. This sudden act caused Soarin to have a confused look on his face.

Rainbow just smiled and acted like nothing happened. "Well, ready to go?"

Soarin brushed it aside and didn't think much of it. Maybe she was grabbing a few extra bits. He just smirked and flapped himself up too. "You bet."

Rainbow then took off towards the train station with her lovable coltfriend following closely behind.

The two ponies felt the train come to a stop, signaling that they had arrived to Fillydelphia. Rainbow grabbed Soarin's hoof and dragged him up with excitement. "Oh my gosh, we're here! Soarin, keep your eyes open, because I'm going to make sure that I make this the most memorable experience for the both of us."

Soarin let out a small giggle as they exited the train. "I'm sure you'll do good. I can't wait to see what my surprise is."

They both made some small talk while Rainbow led Soarin to her destination. Rainbow knew they would have enough time to their destination since the last time she saw the clock on the train, it was 11:44. Their surprise would start at noon, but she knew they had to keep up the pace to not be late.

"Come on, Soarin. We need to hurry up so that I can buy us both tickets for our surprise."

"Oh, alright. Should we just fly?"

"Sure."

Both ponies lifted themselves up and flew towards the fun. Rainbow flew at a decent speed. She wasn't in a rush, but she wanted to make sure they had enough time to take in the scene. The scene would be eye-catching.

It was getting close to noon and the couple finally made it to the ticket station. Thankfully, the line wasn't that long since it was near the time to begin. They had about seven minutes which was plenty of time. Rainbow got up to the front and payed for two tickets. They were both 50 bits each, but Rainbow had more than enough. Rainbow knew that this was very expensive, but this was basically a once in a lifetime opportunity. She knew that it would all be worth it in the end.

Unsurprisingly, Soarin questioned her about the price of the tickets. She had spent 100 bits for two tickets. "Uh, Rainbow? Are you sure that this is worth it? You already used 100 bits to buy us two tickets. Tickets don't usually cost that much. At most, they would cost about 20 bits for a movie."

Rainbow just turned to her coltfriend and giggled at his assumption. "Are you guessing that I'm taking you a movie?"

"Uh, sure?"

Rainbow playfully rolled her eyes. "Don't worry. This will all be worth it."

Soarin just smiled and nodded his head. Even though he knew that spending 100 bits for two tickets was crazy, he trusted his marefriend with his life. They loved each other very much and he didn't question her any further. One of the most important parts of a relationship after all is trust.

Both of their hearts started to pound faster. They were hitting the homestretch of their destination. Rainbow couldn't wait to see the look of her coltfriend when he realizes what she will be taking him on.

Suddenly, Rainbow knew that the next turn of the corner would show everything. She started to get nervous from the excitement but made sure to remain calm. "Soarin, the surprise is up ahead on the next right turn. Are you excited?"

Soarin wrapped a hoof around his marefriend as they continued walking and nuzzled her mane. "Rainbow, whatever it is, I'm sure it will be great. I put my faith in you."

As they turned the corner, Rainbow's smile grew wider until she was stopped by Soarin's sudden stop. He took in the beautiful view of what he saw. His jaw hung wide open along with his eyes. He couldn't believe what he saw. The very expensive tickets made total sense to him now.

Rainbow looked at his face and smiled again. She assumed that he loved the surprise she had set up. She wrapped both hooves around his body and nuzzled his cheek. "Do you like your surprise, honey? I planned this out for you. I really do hope you like it."

Soarin couldn't find the words to speak but managed to whisper two words. "A... yacht?"
