Chapter 1: It Could Always Be Worse,And It Is
Stephen had awoken to a high pitch scream. It was something that sounded like a little girl. Stephen looked over to the couch to look for his friend, Damian, who had passed out in the middle of the floor. He was not there. Another scream, and he traced the sound of that to the bathroom. When he got there to see what’s up, he saw a dark blue alicorn filly with a faded blue mane and tail with black highlights. The only thing Stephen could think was ‘Where is Damian”. When he looked at the filly he noticed who it was. He decided to let on a joke.
“Hey there, little filly, where is your mother and father?” Stephen said between chuckles.
“SHUT UP, OK!? WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED LAST NIGHT!?!?” The filly was screaming as she turned towards him, “AND WHY THE HELL AM I THE RULE 63 VERSION OF MY OC!?” She finished, before noticing something that Stephen had not, her frown slowly turning into a smirk.
“I don’t know, but I am enjoying second of it, Falling Moon!” Stephen snickered, before receiving a hair dryer to the face, knocking ‘him’ down.
“Ok, let’s calm down a second and- WAIT A FUCKING MINUTE, YOU CALLED ME FALLING MOON! UP YOURS!” She screamed
“Ok, ok, sorry, but you look adorable.” Stephen said.
“Ya, at least I am not a full grown mare!” she retorted with a smug smile.
“Yeah, at least-Wait, What The Fuck!?” Stephen said, finally noticing her newly acquired ‘feminine’ curves in the bathroom mirror.
“What happened last night dude? Last I remember was partying in Vegas.” Falling Moon stated.
The music was blasting, everybody was having a good time. And then the drinking contest. It was between Damian and some random bachelor who introduced himself as Luke. When Damian ordered them to fill the empty aquarium with a mix of the strongest drinks available, the bartender obliged, albeit begrudgingly. While he started chugging, everybody in the bar was shouting “Chug chug chug!” Which he was doing. After a while, he drank the bar out of all of its booze. Yet, Damian, Stephen and their new friend Luke, went to bar after bar while Damian was not even buzzed. After awhile, they decided to call it a night and went back to the hotel, where Damian passed out on the couch and Stephen on the bed ...
Stephen and Damian recounted everything from the previous night. Remembering every little detail from the time they got off the plain checked in the hotel. Damian was freaking out a little. They have drunk themself out of mind. It was one of the days where no one would remember anything. Typical blackout after been drunk.
“Ok Stephen, does that sound about right? Because I don't think we can leave the hotel in our current state. I mean, come on, an alicorn filly and a unicorn mare? People might freak the heck out” Damian said.
“Um, Damian, I don’t think that will be a problem...” Stephen said after looking out the bathroom window.
“Why do you say that Stephen? What did you mean it won't be a problem?” Damian was asking, a little paranoid.
“Look out the window and see for yourself.” Stephen said as calmly as possible.
“What do you mean by-” Damian looked out the window and his eyes got wide ”What the heck, this can’t be real!” Damian said still shocked.
Outside the window they could see a massive forest. “Maybe we should go out there and check see if we can find somebody, or somepony.” Stephen said sheepishly.
“Dude, hell to the no, it’s the goddamn Everfree forest! We’ll get attacked by a damn manticore or a hydra, or maybe a cockatrice! So fuck that! I’m staying right here until I wake up from this nightmare!” Damian stated a little pissed at the suggestion
“Well, if you wanna wait for the ‘beast’ to make their way in here to get you, then go right ahead. I, on the other hand, or hoof, is going outside!” Stephen shouted.
“We are in a hotel room that somehow transported with us. We are safe.” Damian said a little smugly.
“No, we’re not. We’re leaving, and I do mean ‘we’.” Stephen said lifting Damian up in his magic and placing him on his back.
“No, come on dude, let me go. Please, for the love of God, let me go!” Damian was begging a little, but Stephen was having none of it.
“Come on Dude, maybe we’ll meet Celestia and she can coo over her little ‘girl’.” Stephen joked.
“Ya right, asshole. If we are lucky then we can find out what's happening and why we are here.” Damian stated.
“Well then, let’s go. You can stay on my back. We don't want more than one ‘princess’ getting dirty, do we?” Stephen snickered, keeping Damian from falling off with magic.
“You know what, shut up, ok?” Damian added getting annoyed with the joke.
“Yes! Stephen, look, it’s Fluttershy’s house, this is pretty cool.” Damian exclaimed. When they both heard a deep voice coming from behind them when they turned their jaws hit the ground.
“Princess Falling Moon, there you two are, everypony has been worried sick about you, even your father.” The voice said.
“Uhhhhhhh, what did you just call me?” Damian asked, knowing who that was it was the rule 63 Twilight Sparkle.
“You heard me. Now come on Moon, your father is worried sick about you. Let’s go and you too, Rising Sun.” Both Damian and Stephen’s jaws were on the ground while Dusk Shine dragged them to the library, where they sat down waiting for Falling Moon’s ‘father’ to arrive.
“Now where did you two go last night?” Dusk asked with a hint of annoyance in his tone.
“Uh, long story short, all we know is we woke up in the Everfree Forest. Other than that, we can’t really say.” Stephen lied.
“You did not try and get Moon back?” Dusk said, shocked.
“Look Dusk, neither of us knows exactly what happened last night. All we know, is that we were in a hotel room without the hotel, somewhere in the Everfree. That’s it.” Stephen snorted.
“Uhhuuhhh, well is Falling Moon ok? That is all I care about right now.” Dusk asked suspiciously.
“Oh, I wonder how Glimmer Shield will react when she hears that...” Stephen replied with a smirk, not having a clue what he was talking about.
“Just shut up ok, this is getting freaking annoying. We don’t know what happened, Dusk, so don’t bombard us with dumb questions.” Damian said.
“I am sorry Moon, but you are under my care, so I don’t want our princess getting hurt” Dusk said to her.
“Just shut the hell up, Dusk Shine. I mean, fuck.” Damian said pissed off now.
“Falling Moon, I know I have raised you better than that. You don’t use that kind of language, little filly” a new voice said.
“Prince Solaris!” Dusk Shine exclaimed.happy to see his mentor.
“Yo Sunny.” Stephen said with a complete lack of formality, much to the chagrin of Dusk Shine.
“You have got to be bucking kidding me” Damian said.
“ A/N ok everypony in the next chapter i will be useing the names “Falling Moon & Rising Sun” i also need to know the rest of the main 6’s R63 names along with Luna and the CMC but there will be more in chapter 2 trust me on this

Chapter 2: Daddy's Little Filly
“Well, daddy needs to talk to Dusk Shine, so I trust that you will behave for Rising Sun.” Prince Solaris said, patting Falling Moon on the head, after which the Prince and Dusk Shine went into a room where a spell was cast so that they could not hear any noise.
“This can not be real Ste-I mean Rising Sun.” Falling Moon said.
“Actually, it can. I mean, I always believed in the multiverse theory, so I suspected this place existed.” Rising Sun replied.
“I told you about that dumbflank” Falling Moon said, hitting Rising Sun in the leg.
“No, we discussed it. I knew about it before we ever met, remember? It was the reason we became friends in the first place! Because we both believed in the existence of alternate universes.” Sun retorted.
“No, I thought it was because we were the only bronies in school so we caught crap.” Falling Moon said.
“Moon, how long have we been friends for?” Sun asked.
“If I remember, since kindergarden.” Falling Moon thought for a second.
“Right, and MLP has been out for around three years. Therefore, we’ve been friends since before MLP, so it was clearly not because we were bronies.” Sun stated.
“Well not really, since the eighties, but that is counting the first generation.” Falling Moon added with a smirk.
“Except I never saw the first generation, the only version of MLP I know is Friendship is Magic.” Sun replied.
“So what do we do then? I mean heck, apparently our rule 63 selfs existed in this world so what now?” Falling Moon asked worriedly while her wings popped open, much to Sun’s amusement.
“Dude, I don’t know how to say this, so I’ll just say it. WINGBONER!” Sun said, rolling around on the floor laughing so hard her sides started to hurt.
“Shut up ok, you pompous ass. This is freaking serious, we need to figure out what to do right now!” Falling Moon said, getting irritated.
“Sorry, sorry. But you know how I react to stress. I laugh about everything until I calm down.” Sun replied after a few minutes getting the chuckles out of her system.
“WELL COME ON, WE NEED TO THINK WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO!?!” Falling Moon yelled while her voice cracked at the last word.
“Alright, alright. Moon, it’s going to be fine. We’re going to get home, I promise.” Sun assured her.
“What if we can’t? Then what? Tell me! I had a life,a beautiful girlfriend, a job, and everything and now it’s all gone forever! Everybody I knew, I wont see them again. My parents, I won’t get to see any of them ever again, so how are we going to be fine!” Falling Moon, asked tearing up a little while her ears drooped.
Sun scooped her up and started rubbing a hoof up and down her back as she sobbed. “Moon, I honestly don’t know. But I will get us home, I swear, and nothing will stop me.” She said, trying to hold back her own tears.
“I-I just wish I could at least see my mother again, or anybody, even my sister. And I hate her.” Falling Moon said in between sobs.
“Moon, you remember those fanfics we read? How anytime someone ended up in Equestria, they found themselves with a purpose?” Sun asked.
“You know you are making us sound gay, but not always, in most of them the people were either beaten or never got to go back home but what are we going to do?” Falling Moon asked again barely calming down.
“Well, I’m leaving it up to you. My idea is we come clean and tell Solaris and hope he can help us figure this out. But I want your opinion on this.” Sun said seriously.
“He will think we are freaking crazy. Any other options?” Falling Moon added
“Option two is that we try and figure a way home by ourselves, the cons of which are that it could take years to find out.” Sun said sadly.
“So what do we do until then?” Falling Moon asked ever so slightly with a squeak.
“We try and act like our OCs would and hope nopony figures it out, that is, if we decide to keep it a secret.” Sun stated.
“My OC is a sweet and partially innocent little colt.” Falling Moon said.
“And mine is a trained assassin, so I guess we have to go with it for now.” Sun said.
“Wait, do you mean I have to call him daddy? If so, I am going to lose my mind.” Falling Moon said.
“Dude, remember Knight doesn’t even have parents, and I’m guessing that Sun doesn’t either, so actually having somepony to call dad, especially the Prince, is technically a good thing, at least as long as we’re here.” Sun replied, smiling a little.
“But it feels degrading doing that, and it will kill me a little on the inside.” Falling Moon reiterated
“You mean like how I did when Meadhbh disowned me as her brother?” Sun stated.
“So what you’re saying is that I have to call him ‘daddy’, does that sum it up?” Falling Moon asked while shuffling nervously.
“Well, would you be more comfortable calling him ‘dad’ or ‘father’ or something?” Sun inquired.
“Nope, I don’t want to do either.” Falling Moon said.
“What about calling him ‘old man’? That’s a term for father, right?”
“Tell you what, I will go along with it, BUT, you have to do something for me.” Falling Moon said with a sly grin.
“No problem. Name your price.” Sun said without fear.
“I want two things to be exact, no, three things/” Falling Moon added with an evil grin.
“Fine, just name them.” Sun said less excitedly.
“Well one, I want you to get me something, a present. Surprise me. Two, I will ask a favor of you at any time and you can’t say no. And three, I want you to somehow go on a date with one of the main six of this world.” Falling Moon said while she bounced around.
“Fine. Any particular member you want me to take on a date.”
“Honestly, I don't care, it’s your choice, but it has to be a double date, if you understand, and all three of you have to go home together.” Falling Moon said.
“Sounds like you want to stay up all night listening, ya little peeper.” Sun replied with a small smirk.
“Ok, gross, you need to watch how you talk around a filly, and i just insulted myself.” Falling Moon said, facehoofing.
“Could be worse. If we’re here for years, then I’ll be going through, ‘things’, come springtime. It’s gonna suck if we don’t get home before then.” Sun said nervously.
“Ha you mean your period jokes on you” Falling Moon added.
“Ponies don’t have periods dumbass, they go into heat!” Sun retorted angrily.
“Ha, it really sucks to be you then.” Falling Moon said, bursting into a fit of giggles like a filly.
“Yeah, I’m definitely gonna enjoy watching you suffer when yours comes around, Moony.” Sun retorted.
“Just shut up, I hope we are not here that long, it would suck.” Falling Moon stated while she was pouting.
“Like I said, I promised to get us home no matter what. That means if I can’t find out on my own, I’ll recruit your help, and if we can’t do it together, we’ll just keep getting help until we succeed.” Sun stated seriously.Just then Falling Moon was picked up and hugged.
“Ok Moon, daddy has to leave now, I will see you later.” Prince Solaris said putting her down on the ground while Rising Sun shot her a look.
Falling Moon sucked it up “Ok, see you soon daddy” She said while not trying to kill herself in the process. Prince Solaris left after a few good minutes.
“Aww, are you a daddy’s filly.” Sun snickered, receiving a hit in the leg for his troubles.
“Just shut the hell up.” Falling Moon said
“Language Moon. Remember, ix-nay on the earing-sway in front of usk-Day.” Sun replied.
“I dont bucking care right now, hell this sucks!” Falling Moon complained.
“Sorry about her Dusk, she’s a little steamed cause I won’t teach her how to wield a sword.” Sun said, rubbing the back of her head with a hoof.
“That is a lie!” Falling Moon replied to him
“Well, don’t talk like that or else.” Dusk warned the filly.
“Don’t worry Dusk, she’ll behave. She kinda doesn’t have any other options, do you Moony.” Sun said, giving Falling Moon a look.
“Call me that again and see what I do next.” Falling Moon threatened Sun.
“Try it and I accelerate your growth so you go through, ‘that’, tomorrow.” Sun retaliated.
“I will hurt you if you don’t shut the hell up right now!” Falling Moon was threatening.
“Moon, enough. Yelling isn’t going to get us home!” Sun yelled, before covering her mouth at what she just said.
“Don’t yell at her like that Rising Sun, what has gotten into you? She is just a helpless filly.” Dusk partially scolded Sun.
“Ya, don’t yell at me!” Falling Moon said standing next to Dusk Shine.
“I’m sorry. Excuse me, I need to be alone.” Sun replied before walking out the door, with Falling Moon walking behind her.
“Wow, I bet that sucked, you got yelled at or lectured, I think this place is messing with my mind and memory.” Falling Moon said
“Moon, go back to the library. I want to be alone for a minute.” Sun said sternly.
“Hey, if we are stuck here a while then I am going to make the best of it and be as adorable as possible.” Falling Moon stated.
“I SAID GO BACK!” Sun yelled again, before finishing with a quiet “Please, just leave me alone.” and walking off.
“No I will not, thank you very much.” Falling Moon said to her while trying to keep up.
“Fine, then I’ll send you back myself.” Sun retorted, before teleporting Moon right back into the library, where she promptly fell on Dusk’s head.
“Ok, ouch, that hurt.” Dusk said.
“Just shut up Dusk.” Falling Moon said bluntly. when suddenly a pink stallion popped out of nowhere
“Oh hey Princess Falling Moon where did you disappear to last night we were looking everywhere for you we searched over and over and over and over and over and over again” Bubble Berry said only scaring Falling Moon when he came out of nowhere which ended up with her screaming
“What, we're, why, you, pinkie, toast...” Falling Moon was stammering
“Great Bubble Berry you scared her so bad she is stammering” Dusk said

Chapter 3:Friends Stick Together Through Thick & Thin
Falling Moon had awoke the next morning stretching her wings after she hopped off her bed letting out a yawn in the process.
“Great I hoped it was all a bad dream, but, i am a filly and that sucks.” she said to herself while walking down stairs.
“Oh umm good morning Moon i hope i did not wake you up, Im sorry if i did.” Said a shy voice.
“No you did not... Ummm....?” Falling Moon said trying to think of the pony’s name.
“Moon are you ok? Its me, Butterscotch.” Butterscotch said to the filly.
“Yeah, I am fine Butterscotch, but where did Dusk go?” The filly asked curious while looking around the library.
“Oh um he went to help Bubble Berry with something.” Butterscotch said to the small filly.
“Well what is it what is he helping him with?” Falling Moon was now questioning Butterscotch.
“Oh, I can't tell you I’m sorry.” He apologized.
“Why not?” The filly asked giving the cutest pair of puppy dog eyes ever, forcing Butterscotch to use the stare on her.
“Sorry I did that but i was asked not to tell you” Butterscotch said while Falling Moon was shaking. Butterscotch noticed he had scared the poor filly and hugged her.
“Put me down, now!” Falling Moon demanded while pushing Butterscotch away.
After two hours Dusk Shine came back to pick up Falling Moon. He picked her up with is magic, so she wouldn’t have to walk.
“Hey put me down I can walk by myself, I am not some helpless little child.” Falling Moon complained.
“Calm down, I just felt like a princess like you, should not have to walk.” Dusk said with a little smile, and continued on walking.
“Just put me down, I can walk on my own geez.” Falling Moon said with an angry face.
“Oh fine, but remember when your feet start to hurt, it was your idea.” Dusk said.
“They won’t hurt you jackflank.” Falling Moon said with a sadistic smile on her face.
“Ok Moon calm down, you are going to like this surprise!”Dusk said with a little secret smile.
“Fine but if that Bubble Berry pony jumps out of a cake again I am going to hurt him.” Falling Moon stated rather seriously.
“Oh, come on you know he is just trying to make you laugh. After all, that is his specialty, is it not?” Dusk asked.
“Sure, but he doesn’t have to come out with a ton of balloons which eventually fall on my head, now does he?” Falling Moon said with a serious face.
“Well, I guess...” Dusk had realised he had been beaten in the word game by Falling Moon and has retreated.
“I told you” Falling Moon said with a little smile.
As the journey went on, the little filly became engulfed in boredom, and was searching for new ways to entertain herself.
“How about we play “Hoof, Pony, Haystack?” Falling Moon Suggested.
“No Moon, we can’t stop now to play that silly game!” Dusk told the filly.
“Who said it was silly?! I for one think it’s educational!” Falling Moon said.
“Educational my flank! Look, the more we focus on the travel the faster we’ll get there, okay?” Dusk said.
“Okay....” Said Falling Moon with a little sad face.
Several minutes later
“Duuuuuuuuuuuuuusk!!! I’M BOOOOOOOOOOOOORED!” Falling Moon said with a following massive yawn.
“Oh come on princess, we’re almost there!”
“Can’t we just play something now?” Falling Moon said, using her brutal tactic. The puppy dog eyes!
Eventually, even Dusk has fallen victim to the puppy dog eyes.
“Oooh! We can go into that forest, it looks so much fun!” Falling moon said with a little glitter in her eyes.
“That’s the Everfree forest, I don’t think we should go in there”Dusk said to her
“THAT’S the Everfree?.” Falling Moon exclaimed
Falling Moon then recalled the events of how she even got there, and remembered the house she stayed in, which was in the Everfree forest.
“You know what, I swiped a deck of cards from Butterscotch, we can have some fun with that.” Said Falling Moon with a worried face.
“No! How much longer is it to sweet apple acres?” Falling Moon whined.
“Not much you said you can walk, so, you can walk, or i can carry you the rest of the way.” Dusk said to the filly.
“Fine just carry me the rest of the way, I am getting lazy now!” Falling Moon said with a bit of sarcasm.
After about an hour of walking Dusk and Falling Moon arrived at Sweet Apple Acres where Applejack was waiting, when they got in the barn everypony in Ponyville shouted
SURPRISE!
The filly jumped about twenty feet in the air, her eyes wide seeing that it was a welcome to ponyville party.
“Uhh thanks everypony.” Falling Moon said still unsure how to feel about the situation.
“Ohohohohohohohohohohoh come on lets play some party game come on” Bubble Berry said bouncing the whole time.
After a while of party games Falling Moon saw something that made her want to kill herself it was the CMC but they were colts when one of them came up
“Hi Princess Falling Moon my name is Sweepie Bell nice to meet you.” He said to Falling Moon and invited her to go and meet him and his friends.
After a few hours the party was over everypony had left even the CMC Dusk Shine picked Falling Moon up and placed the filly on his back and started heading back home
“That party was actually fun so i am shocked” Falling Moon said laying her head down
“Yes, party’s are his talent Moon, I thought i said that already” Dusk said to the filly
“Ya you did i just did not expect it to be that fun you know?” Falling Moon said to him while star gazing.
“Ya, I know. Heck you lucky right now” Dusk said
“What do you mean lucky?” Falling Moon asked while cocking an eyebrow
“Come on lets get you into bed” Dusk said while walking into the library
“What no way i am not going to bed” Falling Moon agrued
All the while she was not paying attention and was being tucked in bed while she was protesting
“Yes come on go to bed” Dusk said to her
“No i am not going to bed like some little kid” Falling Moon argued
“Yes you are it past your bedtime and it is time for all fillies to go to bed” Dusk said to her Falling Moon looked at the clock seeing it was only 9:30pm
“No way i am not going to bed like some five year old” Falling Moon retoriated
“Yes and you have been up a hour later then you should have its past your bedtime now go to sleep little filly” Dusk said scolding the filly
“But-” she did not get to finish before Dusk interrupted her
“I don't want to hear it, it is past your bedtime now go to sleep am i under stood” Dusk scolded while he plugged something in he then walked out of the room turning the light out and closing the door
After a little bit the shock left from Falling Moon she looked around to see a dim light when she looked what it was she noticed it was a night light with added to her being a filly
“Wait a second apparently i am a five year old filly great i am little this can't get any worse” Falling Moon said to herself until she saw the night light was shaped like a heart a pink heart she then saw her bed sheets they were frilly and lacy as hell she decided just to go to bed so tomorrow would come faster
Falling Moon had awoken the next day stretching she walked over and unplugged that night light when Dusk came in to wake her up he noticed she was unplugging the night light
“Good morning Moon, I take it you slept well.” Dusk said, sneaking up on the filly.
Falling Moon screamed jumping a few feet into the air, before turning to face Dusk with an angry glare. “Didn’t anypony teach you not to sneak up on ponies? It’s not nice!” Falling Moon stated.
“I’m sorry, but Rising Sun didn’t show up for the party last night, and she wasn’t here this morning. Do you have any ideas where she may have gone?” Dusk asked.
“No, I don’t, last I saw she was storming out of here yesterday.” Falling Moon said
“That reminds me, I had some time to think about yesterday. What did she mean about getting you home?” Dusk asked suspiciously.
Falling Moon froze a little at this. “N-nothing, she was helping me with something from a play she was writing!” Falling Moon was lying through her teeth.
“Pull the other one, it’s got bells on.” Dusk replied humorlessly.
“What does that mean?” Falling Moon asked.
“It means you’re lying, Moon. Do you want to come clean, or will I get your father over here to get to the bottom of this?” Dusk warned.
“I am not lying I swear.” Falling Moon stated.
“Fine, then I guess you won’t mind me finding Rising Sun and bringing her to see your father, will you?” Dusk stated as he turned to walk out the door.
“Trust me, you would think we are crazy.” Falling Moon mumbled.
“Moon, if you really think that, then you don’t know me as well as you think.” Dusk replied.
Falling Moon took a deep breath, dreading the next few minutes. “Well, me and Rising Sun are not from this world. We are from a different place called earth. Our real names are Damian and Stephen, we are best friends, and we are both males. We have known each other since kindergarten. Happy now that you know?” Falling Moon said while Dusk started laughing at her.
“Ok so what is this script a comedy?” Dusk asked while laughing.
“You think he’s joking? I thought you were smarter than that Dusk Shine.” Came a voice from the door.
“Where did you go? You know what, I don't care.” Falling Moon said as she hugged Rising Sun.
“Oh, you didn’t notice the new additions?” She asked playfully, motioning to her sides. Moon’s eyes grew wide as she took in the sight before her.
“Are those....”Falling Moon began.
“Yup. pretty cool, huh?” Sun said proudly.
“I’ll say, I’ve never seen ones as , colourful, as those.” Dusk stated.
“Trust me, compared to greatswords, these are pretty small.” Sun replied as she drew the twin hoof and a half swords with her magic and spun them slowly.
“That is so cool.” Falling Moon exclaimed.
“Yeah, well I got you a little something too, Moon.” Sun said, smiling as she levitated a short sword over to Falling Moon.
“Wow, thanks. This is so sweet.” Falling Moon stated while her horn was glowing and shooting sparks out of itself.
“RISING SUN! HOW DARE YOU BE SO IRRESPONSIBLE AS TO GIVE A DANGEROUS WEAPON TO A FILLY! I SHOULD T-” Dusk began, only to be cut off.
“Sorry, but this is his sword. It was in the room we woke up in. same with the two strapped to my side.” Sun retorted with a small smirk growing on her face.
“Don’t worry geez i can take care of myself i am not some li-”Falling Moon was cut off by Dusk glaring at her
“I don’t want to hear it you are still a filly so no you can not have something like that” Dusk said sternly.
“Dusk, do not try it. Take the blade, and it will not let you go unpunished.” Sun warned him.
“Moon, I think you and your father need to have a nice little chat.” Dusk said to her.
“Moon, you remember the deal we made?” Sun asked.
“Yes. Why?” Falling moon asked
“I don’t think we’re gonna be able to fulfill #3.” Sun replied.
“Ok, that is enough out of all of you.” A new voice stated.Falling Moon froze hearing that angry voice. ”Now Rising Sun she is still a little filly and should not have something like that, and Dusk Shine you did not need to overreact like that. Also, Falling Moon, I need to speak with you.” Solaris said.
“One, I’m guessing you already figured out what’s going on. Two, the blade is his by right, and as such, I cannot in good conscience keep it from him. And three, if you’re gonna talk to him,” Sun gave the Prince a look, “Then I’m gonna be there too. And you already know you’re not gonna talk me out of it.”
“No, I need to talk to my daughter in private.” Solaris said while Falling Moon was still frozen in place
“Listen to me, and listen well, old man,” Solaris frowned and raised an eyebrow in annoyance, “Moon and I have been friends for a long time. As such, we don’t keep secrets from each other, so if you have something to say to him, you have something to say to me too.”
“Well, I just wanted to let Moon know that I heard about some of the things she said and Princess Falling Moon, you are grounded for a week.” Solaris said.
“What did I do!?” Falling Moon asked
“A list of things that include: swearing, lying and plenty more so you are grounded little filly, I want to hear no more from you. Am I understood?” Solaris said in a matter of finality.
Falling Moon was biting her tongue to keep from going off, though Sun wasn’t so composed.
“But- Yes sir” Falling Moon said giving up
“God, I think you really missed the memo, Solaris. Moon, we’re heading out for training.” Sun stated, ignoring the rage-face growing bigger on Solaris muzzle.
“Well I don’t care right now, she is in trouble am I understood, Rising Sun?” Solaris said, barely keeping what little composure he had left.
“Um, I think, no.” Sun retorted, as she placed Moon on her back and started to leave, while Moon kept her head down.
“Rising Sun how about I show you something I know you will like?” Solaris said.
“Solaris, I’m only gonna say this once. I’m not interested in whatever you have to show me.” Sun replied with an air of finality.
“Not even if your parents left it for you?” Solaris asked
“No, I’m not. They’re not my real parents anyway.” She retorted.
“Let’s just leave already.” Falling Moon said in a low voice.
“You got it Moon.” Sun smirked just as her horn started to glow. Before anypony could stop them, they were gone, leaving a fuming Solaris standing in the library with a terrified Dusk Shine.
“I hate it here already, I thought I could at least make the best of this, but I can't.” Falling Moon stated.
“Moon, I promised to get us home, remember? You still have to tell your parents about that car you won, right? You kept bragging about how their jaws were gonna drop and your sister was gonna piss herself.” Sun said with a laugh.
“Ya, I guess but at least you can use magic, right now I can’t do anything. I am one useless alicorn.” Falling Moon said depressed, before receiving a light smack on the head from Sun.
“Don’t ever say you’re useless. Who’s the one that pulled me out of that wreck when we were 16? Who helped me ask a girl out for the first time? Who got me laid in ten seconds flat?” Sun inquired.
“I did.” Falling Moon said, ”But you ever hit me again and I will break your horn off and shove it somewhere.” She finished saying.
“And who was the one that took a bullet for me and just laughed at the guy who was the one that decided to be a hero during a bank robbery?” Sun kept asking.
“I was.” Falling Moon said cheering up a little
“Damn straight you were. So never say you’re useless. Besides, I can teach you a trick to learning magic if you want?” Sun offered.
“I am fine. Heck, either way I am going to have to learn it.” Falling Moon said.
“Um, I’m confused. Was that a yes or a no?” Sun asked with a raised eyebrow.
“I guess yes and no.” Falling Moon said.
“I see. Well, I’ll at least give you the basics of what I did. All you need to do, is clear your mind, and try to find something that wasn’t there when you were human.” Sun began.
“You somehow knew how to use magic when we came here.” Falling Moon said
“Nah, I just read a lot of fanfiction and tried some stuff until it worked.” Sun replied sheepishly.
“Ugg, I think this place is messing with my head.” Falling Moon stated
“Same here. I’m feeling kinda dizzy. Good thing we’re almost at the room, huh? This forest is starting to seem a lot more menacing than before.”
“No, I mean like I act like the age I currently am. I can’t even act like the age I was. Why the heck am i a filly anyway? That makes no sense!” Falling Moon inquired.
“Well, like we said before, multiverse theory. This is a reverse gender universe.” Sun said in a matter-of-fact tone.
“Yes, I know that retard, but why am I a filly I mean age wise you are a full grown mare but I am a freaking five year old filly just like the CMC.” Falling Moon said.
“Well, how old was Shooting Star, and how old was Rising Knight?” Sun asked.
“Oh, I see what you’re getting at. Well, it still sucks they treat me like a child.” Falling Moon said.
“Ok, well how about this. As long as we’re here, I refuse to treat you as anything other than my friend and fellow adult. How’s that sound dude?” Sun offered, just as they reached the room.
“That sounds good i guess or think UGGGG THIS IS IRRITATING, BEING A FILLY, BEING TREATED LIKE A FILLY! I HATE THIS SO MUCH!” Falling Moon shouted
“I know Moon. So, I guess we’re hiding out for now, huh?” Sun said sadly.
“Ya, or until the guard comes and gets us.” Falling Moon stated
“They can try. Oh, right! There’s one more thing I didn’t tell you about learning to control my magic. My body’s instincts helped.” Sun admitted.
“Lets just sit back and relax a little while.” Falling Moon said opening a bottle of whiskey from the mini bar.
“Sounds good to me, but if you don’t mind, I’ll avoid alcohol for now. After all, don’t wanna get wasted and wake up in R63 Zecora’s bed, do I?” Sun laughed.
“Ya, but I kind of want to-”Falling Moon said spitting the whiskey out.
“Dude, you ok? Something wrong?” Sun asked concernedly.
“What the hell, that tastes disgusting.” Falling Moon exclaimed
“Uh, Moon, I think your new body is literally rejecting alcohol before it even gets swallowed. That means you’re gonna have to get used to it all over again.” Sun explained.
“No, I drank it but it tasted gross.” Falling Moon said.
“I think that with your new body how you said you think that its messing with your mind well i think that you can’t stand it were your so young” Sun said sheepishly
“Whatever i am going to try and sleep” Falling Moon said laying down in the bed
“I-i-i’m scared” Falling Moon said tearing up”I-i am scared of the dark” Falling Moon said now sobbing into her pillow

Chapter 4: Fears In The Dark
Rising Sun awoke the next day seeing Falling Moon asleep with tears still running down her cheeks. She went over and nuzzled her softly to wake her up.
“No, I don’t want to wake up.” Falling Moon said groggily
“Come on Moon, wake up please.” Sun said while gently shaking Falling Moon.
After a while Falling Moon woke up rubbing her eyes with her hooves while Sun looked at her.
“Moon, were you crying last night?” Sun asked her a little concerned while Falling Moon froze at the question.
“N-no, I was not why would you think that?” Falling Moon said, trying to cover up her lie
“Well because I can still see tears on you.” Sun pointed out while Falling Moon looked at her bed.
“Y-yes I was ok happy now” Falling Moon stated while still looking down
“Well why were you crying, can you tell me?”Sun asked while Falling Moon refused to look at him.
“Well, remember last night when I said living here was messing with my mind?” Falling Moon asked.
“Yes, I do.” Sun said.
“Well, last night when I woke up, I got scared.” Falling Moon said with a hint of shame in her voice
“Ok, and that made you cry?” Sun kept asking
“No, that was not it. I was scared of the dark and I started crying.” Falling Moon said
“Wait, the guy who is not scared of anything was scared of the dark?” Sun said in shock.
“Shut up, ok! I don’t know why, but i think when we came here it messed with my mind.” Falling Moon said, frustrated.
“Moon, don’t worry about it. We’re gonna get home. I promised, remember?” Sun replied, before grabbing Falling Moon in a hug.
“I know, it is just annoying knowing that I am thinking like that age I currently am.” Falling Moon stated.
Sun picked her up and placed her on her back before grabbing their swords, which she had placed at the side of the bed, and heading outside.
“I may have an idea that could cheer you up.” Sun said.
“Like what?” Falling Moon asked.
“How about I teach you how to use that sword of yours?” Sun offered.
“I cant use magic yet so I would have to hold it with my mouth.” Falling Moon said
“Not necessarily, Moon. Remember what I said about clearing your mind? We cou-” Sun began, only to be cut off.
“It’s fine. When should we head back anyway?” Falling Moon asked.
“Head back? To the ‘house’?” Sun asked.
“No head back to Ponyville, that’s where.” Falling Moon started rolling her eyes
“Not for a good while yet, Moon. I think Solaris and everypony else is still pretty pissed at us.” Sun replied.
“So what if they are mad, we don’t have enough food to last us for the night.” Falling Moon pointed out.
“Dammit. Well, we could always sneak some stuff from Sweet Apple Acres.” Sun suggested.
“No, we would still get caught. I think we should cut our losses and go back.” Falling Moon said
“And then what? They’ll probably lock us up in an insane asylum if we go back and tell the truth, and if we don’t tell them, we’ll probably still be locked up.” Sun retorted.
“I doubt it, we won’t get in trouble. Well, not too much” Falling Moon said
“Ever the optimist, huh Moon?” Sun said sarcastically.
“Well, I refuse to spend another night in the dark like that.” Falling Moon added while shuddering.
“Then I’ll stay up all night and keep a light going for you then.” Sun offered.
“You can stay here, but I will go back on my own.” Falling Moon said, trotting off in the general direction of Ponyville.
“Dammit! Moon, come back!” Sun took off after her.
“Let’s just go back, then we won’t be in trouble, I just know it.” Falling Moon said surely.
“Just like I know there’s a manticore fifteen feet ahead of us past those trees.” Sun stated, stopping Falling Moon.
“Well, teleport us back to the library then.” Falling Moon said scared.
“I-, Alright. But the second things start to go sour, we’re gone, understand?” Sun warned, before teleporting with a flash, and landing on top of Dusk Shine.
“I still hate doing that, it makes me feel sick.” Falling Moon stated as she jumped off Sun’s back.
“Yeah, it only seems to do that if you’re not the one casting the spell.” Sun replied as she rose up off Dusk.
“There you both are!” Dusk shouted.
“Yeah, yeah, Dusky, you missed us, big whoop.” Sun smirked.
“What is wrong with both of you, running off like that.” Dusk was scolding both Moon and Sun
“Simple. You were acting as a potential threat to my friend, so I extracted us from the situation.” Sun replied in a matter-of-fact tone.
“Why does Moon look like she was crying?” Dusk asked
“Moon, do you want to tell him? Or do you want to keep it between us?” Sun whispered.
“I don’t want to say it myself.” Falling Moon admitted.
“Ok, will I tell him?” Sun asked.
“You can if you want.” Falling Moon said. Sun nodded slowly in reply.
“Ok Dusky. She got scared last night while we were staying in the house we woke up in a few nights ago. Now, we’re here at Moon’s request.” Sun replied.
“That still does not explain why she was crying.” Dusk said
“She was afraid of the dark and she couldn’t wake me up. Does that sum it up for you, Dusky?” Sun replied angrily, facehoofing herself.
“That is all I needed to know.” Dusk said, a little shocked at Sun’s tone.
“Alright, now that we’re all caught up, I’m going to teach Moon how to use that sword of hers, and no, I will not be dissuaded.” Sun stated.
“So ummm am i in trouble or not?” Falling Moon squeaked, hiding her head in her hooves.
Sun turned to the filly, still on her back, and smiled softly. “Moon, no worries, remember? If they wanna try anything, they gotta go through me, first!” Sun replied with absolute confidence.
“I know, I wanted to be sure though.” Falling Moon said.
“Don’t worry, but Sun, why did you not try and find something for a dim light?” Dusk asked.
“Because I didn’t know Moon was afraid of the dark. And that’s all there is to it.” Sun replied in a flat tone.
“Sorry about that, I did not even know myself.” Falling Moon said in a sad tone
“Moon, it’s ok.” Sun said, levitating the filly off her back and embracing her softly.
“Ok well what are you two going to do today” Dusk asked both of them
“Like I said before, I’m going to teach Moon how to wield her sword. I’m also going to try and help her learn how to wield her magic too.” Sun stated.
“Ok just try and help her use magic first please.” Dusk asked
“Sure, but for that one, I’m gonna need your help. After all, my magic training was all based on trying different things and hoping I’d get lucky.” Sun replied.
“I think you can handle it” Dusk said reassuringly.
“Have you seen me use magic before? When I was learning it, half the time I almost blew myself up. Do you really wanna risk that with Moon?” Sun retorted nervously.
“Don’t worry, I trust you, now go on.” Dusk said.
“Maybe me and her could go camping.” Sun said with a smile.
“I think it could be a good idea just bring something for light for Moon” Dusk said
“Ok will do come on Moon go to your room and grab something” Sun said with that Falling Moon went to her room and grabbed her night light with that her and Rising Sun took off for the house (the house is the hotel room) in the everfree
When they got in the house in the everfree(the hotel room that was separated from the hotel so i am going to call it a house) Falling Moon and Rising Sun both made sure they had enough food, which they did.
“So Moon do you want to try and use magic?” Sun asked the filly who was climbing on a bed
“No, not right now. I just want to relax.” Falling Moon said while pulling the night light out of the saddle-bags while looking down a little ashamed that she needs a night light
“Calm down Moon, it’s not really your fault you need a night light.” Sun said, trying to reassure the filly.
“Ya but it makes me feel really dumb, I mean come on, I need a night light. I was not scared of anything but now I am scared of the dark.” Falling Moon said still depressed
“Big deal Moon, you need a night light. I am going to go into heat, so you should not complain.” Sun said, giving Falling Moon a hug.
“But I hate being treated like I am a filly.” Falling Moon said as she burst into tears while Rising Sun just rubbed the fillies back as she cried into Raising Sun’s chest.
“Hey calm down. Now I know it sucks, but I swear to you we will find a way home.” Sun promised.
“But what if you can't then we are stuck here forever” Falling Moon said still crying
After a hour Falling Moon had cried herself to sleep Rising Sun tucked the little filly in plugging in her night light
Ok everypony i know it seems the same but next chapter will be different Falling Moon is still adjusting to being a 5 year old filly with all of the fears that come with it

Chapter 5: The Assault
Falling Moon had awoken at around 2:30am, seeing a dim light the filly jumped off the bed and walked around the room looking for Rising Sun.
“Sun, where are you?” Falling Moon shouted, looking around the hotel room. She looked everywhere. “Rising Sun, where are you? Please stop messing around, this is not funny.” Falling moon said, getting scared. She continued looking around. When Falling Moon did not see Rising Sun, she fell on her haunches and started tearing up.
“Sun, please, come back.” She sobbed.
“*Cough* Dammit. Shouldn’t have tried that. *Cough*.”
“Wait, where are you at?” Falling Moon asked, moving her hooves from her eyes.
“Outside, and careful, there’s blood everywhere.” Sun started coughing violently.
“A-a-are you ok?” Falling Moon asked as she walked outside carefully, scared for dear life.
“Honestly, no. But I’ll live. Though I probably won’t-.” Before Sun could finish, Falling Moon interrupted, screaming.
“WHAT!? YOU WON’T LIVE!? PLEASE TELL ME YOU ARE JOKING!” Falling Moon shouting, sobbing again.
“Moon, it’s not that bad. I’ll live. I’m just not gonna be able to walk for a long time. Not unless you know someone who makes prosthetics.” Sun replied, breathing raggedly.
“Get back in here now. Please, get back inside.” Falling Moon said, trying to reach up at the door knob, only for it to be encased in a grey aura as Sun opened it herself, before crawling inside after Moon.
“What were you doing?” Falling Moon asked, hugging Rising Sun before recoiling as she finally saw just how bad her injuries were in the dim light of the house. Her left foreleg was nothing more than a bloody stump, and there were several small cuts all over her body.
“W-what happened? What were you doing?” Falling Moon asked, looking like she was going to cry again. But after a few seconds and a brief flash, Rising Sun’s leg was fixed and the gashes were gone.
“Huh, I guess you can use magic, huh Moon?” Sun said with a small smile as she stood up slowly.
“Wait, I can? No I can’t, my horn was never glowing. Yours just died down!” Falling Moon said.
“You serious? I never felt myself accessing it. You’re sure it was me?” Sun asked.
“Yes I am what is going on tell me now.” Falling Moon demanded
“Long story short, I tried to improvise a spell to get home, and ‘something’ attacked me.” Sun answered in a serious tone.
“What was it?” Falling Moon asked sniffling
“I don’t know Moon. But whatever it was, it wants ‘you’. That means you’re in danger, even here. DAMMIT! I should’ve killed it when I had the chance instead of hesitating!” Sun shouted.
All the while Falling Moon was shaking in fear frozen in place. “What did it want with me?” Falling Moon asked with fear in her tone.
“I don’t know, Moon. I just don’t know.” Sun replied sadly, as she wrapped her forelegs protectively around Moon.
“Great, now I am scared of two things.” Falling Moon said while she hugged Sun tightly.
“Moon, I promise, I won’t let anything happen to you. Even if I have to risk my life, I will keep you safe.” Sun stated.
“But what was it? What did it look like?” Falling Moon asked with a yawn.
“All I could tell was that it looked like it was made of shadows. It even changed the forms of its limbs while we fought.” Sun stated.
“B-but what if it gets me?” Falling Moon asked while falling asleep. Sun just cradled her in her arms as she let sleep take her, before whispering “It won’t. I’ll die before I let it hurt you Moon. I promise.” And so she fell asleep, still holding Moon tightly, as they borth drifted off to the land of dreams...
“What do you mean you did not get the child!?” Citzen yelled
“I am sorry Master Citzen, we could not get to her. There was another mare protecting her.” The Umbra said.
“Well too bad. We need that filly to fulfill the prophecy!” Citzen proclaimed.
“Yes we know Master Citzen, but we can't get to the filly until she is alone, which will be impossible.” Umbra said.
“I only meant to bring the filly here, but I brought her to the wrong world. I meant to bring her to another Equestria where she would be a colt, but I screwed up and brought both her and her friend. I WANT YOU TO GET THAT DAMN CHILD NOW!” Citzen exclaimed, before a sadistic smile crossed his face. “And if that mare stands in your way again, this time, don’t even bother leaving her alive.”
Falling Moon had awoke seeing she was being held by Rising Sun still.
“Sun, are you awake?” Falling Moon asked, spitting out a feather, before grimacing as Sun began to snore loudly.
“I guess not.” She said in an unamused tone, before attempting to escape the grip her friend had on her, only to give up after ten minutes of futile struggling. ”Wake your flank up already, I can’t breathe!” Falling Moon said, still trying to squeeze out of her friend’s grasp. Eventually, she managed to get a solid hit on Sun’s snout, and her friend woke with a start, knocking Moon off the bed.
“Dammit! What hit me!?” Sun exclaimed as she rubbed her nose with a hoof.
“I did! You had me in your iron grasp.” Falling Moon exclaimed, waving her hooves around.
“Sorry. I kinda fell asleep holding you, didn’t I?” Sun said with a sheepish grin.
“Hey, did you say something before I fell asleep?” Falling Moon asked.
“Uh, I dunno. Maybe?” Sun replied nervously.
“Huh, I must have been imagining things.” Falling Moon said.
“Moon, I have to ask you for a favour.” Sun stated, ignoring her comment.
“Sure anything for you.” Falling Moon said
“If we find a way home, but only one of us can go, I want you to be the one. I want you to take the chance and get home.” Sun said.
“What are you talking about!?” Falling Moon asked.
“Moon, that attack, it wasn’t a coincidence.” Sun said
“What attack? Sun are you feeling ok?” Falling Moon asked
“What are you-You mean you don’t remember me coming in last night missing a leg after being attacked by a shadow monster?” Sun asked with a shocked expression.
“You were missing a leg? Last, I remember is Dusk saying me and you should go on a camping trip and we came here.” Falling Moon said with a big smile
She doesn’t remember? What’s going on?
“Moon, how old are you?” Sun asked.
“You don’t know how old I am? Duhh, I am five.” Falling Moon said happily
“How old is your sister?” Sun asked, growing worried.
“Wait, I have a sister, since when?” Falling Moon asked, bouncing.
“Um, never mind. My head was a bit scattered there for a second. Sorry.” Sun apologized
“You’re just being silly, aren’t you?” Falling Moon was saying.
“Uh, sure. Let’s go with that. Hey, do you want me to teach you how to wield that sword and use magic?” Sun asked.
“What sword are you talking about auntie Sun?”
“I,m talking abo-Wait. Auntie Sun? Wait, I’m your aunt?” Sun asked incredulously.
“Yes I called you that. You are like an auntie to me. You worked at the castle, taking care of me.” Falling Moon said, giving Sun a hug. Sun just returned the hug, hiding her fears behind a smile and tears of false happiness, as she tried to understand what was happening to her friend.
“So Moon, What do you want for breakfast?” Sun asked.
“Oh, some pancakes sound really good right now.” Falling Moon said while her little wings fluttered “Come on, I am hungry.” Falling Moon said,making an exaggerated face.
“Ok then. Let’s get you some of Dusk’s famous pancakes!” Sun shouted in mock-excitement, before teleporting both herself and Moon to the library, this time landing on a purple dragoness, who groaned in annoyance.
“Honestly, I spend all my time around boys, and the only girls here that I can spend time with are you two.” She said, shaking her head sadly as she pulled herself out from under the ponypile. “So, what brings you two here, then?” She asked as the two picked themselves up.
“We’re here for pancakes!” Moon shouted excitedly.
“And I need to talk to Dusk, if it’s not too much trouble Barb.” Sun said.
“No its no trouble at all” Barb said going to get Dusk Shine after a few minutes Dusk came down stairs
“Hey you two i see you had fun” Dusk said happily
“Yes we did and now its time for pancakes!” Falling Moon said while running around the library like a madfoal
Rising Sun just sighed and went to making pancakes “Ok pancakes are done come and get them” Sun said while Falling Moon came running in there a book fell on the floor but everypony just ignored it
“Wow these are good!” Falling Moon said with a mouth full of pancake meanwhile Dusk and Sun were looking at that book in the living area
“The Legend Of Citzen And Umbra what the hoof kind of book is this i don’t remember seeing it here before” Dusk said
“I don’t know i have never even heard those names” Sun lied
“Well still i am going to read it just to be safe” Dusk said his eyes got wide when he was reading the first pageCitzen & Umbra are known as the creators of the night the monsters of the dark Umbra stands for shadows or the silence he is known to scare little kids in the dark Citzen is another name for the devil as someponys know him it is said both Citzen & Umbra will return when the prophet comes to destroy the prophet knowing well that he/she can destroy or help them
“Hey Moon you ok i haven’t heard you say anything in awhile” Sun said
“My tummy is hurting” Falling Moon said before puking on the floor

Chapter 7: Ain't It Grand
After several minutes of watching Dusk chase Barb around the hospital, and an hour explaining what he would be teaching Moon, seeing as how he’d completely forgotten to explain it himself, the group of Dusk, Barb, Sun, Moon, Solaris and Artemis left the hospital, and took a long walk back to the library.
“I am boooooorrrrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeedddddddddddd.” Moon whined.
“Moon, if you’re bored, then hit Dusk, that should make you feel better.” Barb suggested, much to the annoyance of Dusk Shine.
“No, I already messed with his food the other day with Bubble Berry and Rainbow Blitz and I am bored.” Moon exclaimed.
“Then how about I explain the basics of Kendo?” Sun asked.
“No sounds boring.” Moon said.
“Will it be boring when you can take down ten enemies in under five seconds?” Sun retorted.
“Or he could spend time with Sweepie Bell, Scooteroll, and AppleBuck.” Dusk said with a sly grin.
“SHUT UP! No way, not going to happen.” Moon said.
“It was part of the deal Moon. Sorry, but our hooves are tied in this.” Sun said.
“Why do I have to, then?” Moon asked.
“Because you need to spend time with ponies your own age. Besides, Sweepie knows a couple of things you might like to learn.” Sun replied with a grin.
“Do I have too?” Moon asked, giving puppy dog eyes with her lower lip quivering.
“Yes. Stop asking.” Sun deadpanned while everypony else was about to give in from the cuteness
“Maybe she does not have to.” Dusk said.
“Oh. What are you suggesting Dusky?” Sun inquired.
“I don’t know, but look in those eyes. You can’t say no.” Dusk said.
Sun took one look into Falling Moon’s masterful puppy-dog eyes, and said, “No.”
“Uggg, you are no fun!” Moon complained.
“Yeah, from the filly who used to try to shut herself in her room all day, only to come out when her dad came to her room with ice-cream.” Sun retorted.
“So what, ice-cream is cool, and shut up!” Moon said.
Eventually, after much arguing and bickering between the two, they arrived at their destination. As they turned to enter, Solaris spoke.
“Could you please go ahead. I need to have a ‘private’ discussion with Rising Sun.” He said.
“Maybe about getting her to lose some weight.” Moon said with a smirk.
“Oh, ha-ha. Just for that, I’m gonna make your training a living hell.” She replied.
“Ok, miss chubbiness.” Moon said with a smile as she ran inside, closely followed by everypony else, leaving only Solaris and Sun.
“So, what’s on your mind, Solaris?” Sun asked curiously.
“Rising Sun, what else did that creature say?” Solaris inquired in a stern tone.
Sun sighed. “It said it would have the prophet. I don’t know what it meant, and I don’t care. If it wants Moon, it’ll have to go through me first.” She said.
“Well, I think you are a good guardian for my daughter.” Solaris replied.
“Yeah, except I didn’t beat it. It just ran off after it nearly killed me.” Sun replied flatly.
“Well, I want you to protect her with your life.” Solaris said sternly
“That’s not an issue. I’ll die before I let her get hurt. It’s what happens after that worries me.” She replied. “Are you sure she can’t stay in the castle, just until we can figure out just how bad this threat is?”
“Yes, I am sure. I trust Dusk Shine.” Solaris said
“It’s not a matter of trust. I went toe to toe with that thing. If it attacked again, I wouldn’t stand a chance unless I went all out, and that would mean giving up my soul, and I know you know what I’m talking about.” Sun stated.
“Please trust me Rising Sun.” Solaris asked. Rising Sun nodded slowly, and headed to the door, but turned to Solaris at the last minute.
“Solaris, I want to ask you something, and I want a straight answer.” She said.
“Yes, what is it?” Solaris asked.
“I want to know what this Umbra really wants with her. And don’t lie to me.” Solaris flinched at the mention of the creature’s name.
“Fine, I want you to keep a good eye on her then.” Solaris said.
“Agreed. Now tell me what they want with Moon.” Sun demanded.
“I do not know the answer to that.” Solaris states.
“Bull-shit! I saw how you reacted when I mentioned its name.” Sun replied angrily.
“Yes, I have heard of it, but I know nothing of what it wants.” Solaris said calmly
“Solaris, that thing wants Moon for something. You have to have some way of finding out why!” Sun pleaded.
“Unfortunately, the only way I can find out is to wait. That is all we can do.” Solaris said.
“Dammit. Why is this happening to us?” Sun exclaimed.
“I don’t know but, I must ask you refrain from saying that around Moon.” Solaris asked.
“Alright, but I need to ask you for a favour then.” Sun replied.
“Ask away, be it within reason.” Solaris said
Sun took a deep breath, as if she felt she were about to dive into a shark tank.
“Do you know any spells that allow interdimensional travel?” She asked.
“Alas, I do not. The only pony who was working on one died before he could finish.” Solaris said.
“Who was it? Who was the pony that worked on it?” Sun asked in an emotionless tone.
“It was Starswarld the long haired.” Solaris said.
“I see.” Sun sighed. “Well, thank you Solaris. And I hope you’ll be able to figure out what Umbra wants. Cause until we know for sure, we’re at a disadvantage.”
“I do too. I just hope so, but if you find anything unusual, be it a book or anything, write a letter, and Barb will send it to me.” Solaris said in a matter-of-fact tone, before following Sun into the library.
Rising Sun & Dusk Shine kept pushing Falling Moon out the library door while she was resisting.
“No! I don’t want to spend time with Sweepie Bell and all of them!” Moon said, trying to run back inside while being pushed back out.
“Ugh, you are such a scaredy-foal!” Sun said.
“No, I am not! I just don’t want to.” Moon said trying to run again, this time being picked up by Sun and magically stuck to her back.
“You’re not getting out of this Moon. You’re going to spend time with Sweepie and his friends, and you’re going to enjoy it.” Sun deadpanned.
“No I won’t enjoy it, but i will do it, just to shut you up!” Moon said in an angry tone.
“Ok, would the two of you quit bickering for two seconds?” Dusk shouted in exasperation.
“But I did not agree to this.” Moon whined
“Yes you did. Besides, you’re going to be learning how to wield a sword starting tomorrow.” Sun retorted.
“No, she’s learning magic tomorrow!” Dusk stated.
“Shut up, I am out of here!” Moon said, somehow freeing herself from Sun’s back and running off at random. Almost immediately after she started running, she ran into Sweepie Bell, falling on her flank.
“Woah, you ok Moon?” Sweepie Bell asked while Moon just looked at him, shocked. Moon was staring at him while a blush grew on her face.
“Y-y-yes, I’m fine, but watch where you’re walking.” Moon said.
“Hey, I said I was sorry, jeez.” Sweepie Bell said to the alicorn filly, frowning. Just as Moon was about to start yelling, Sun and Dusk ran up to them, Dusk with a worried look, and Sun with a small smirk seeing the two of them together.
“Awwwww, ain’t young love grand?” She snickered.
“SHUT UP SUN!” Moon yelled, blushing furiously, as was Sweepie Bell.
“What, its true, you two love birds.” Sun said as Moon hit her in the leg, her blush turning deeper with every passing second.
“Just shut up, Sun!” Moon stated.
“Fine.” Sun relented, playfully ruffling her friend’s mane, eliciting a small chuckle from Sweepie Bell.
“So, is she com’in? Ah’m getting bored.” AppleBuck said.
“Who cares, let’s just get goin’ already.” Scootaroll said, tapping a hoof impatiently.
“Not so fast, guys. Princess Falling Moon is here, so unless you want to come off as uncaring hooligans, you’ll say hi.” Sweepie stated, before turning to Moon. “Now, Moon, do you wanna join us?” He asked.
“Uhh, sure, I will go.” Moon said.
“Well then, have fun you four. And Moon,” Sun leaned in close, “Be good, but if you can’t, name the first after me.” She said with a massive smirk, before hitting the ground, clutching her sides and laughing.
“Eeek, SHUT UP!” Moon said, punching Sun in the muzzle, causing her to yelp more in surprise than pain.
“MOON! What did you do that for!?” Dusk shouted.
“Heh, I told her that if she couldn’t be good, to name the first one after me.” Sun said, rubbing her muzzle.
“RISING SUN! She’s just a filly!” Dusk exclaimed.
“Yet she’s still more mature than you, Dusky.” Sun retorted, drawing laughs from the four foals.
“Ya, dummy.” Moon said, still chuckling.
“You-you, AGH!” Dusk yelled, walking back to the library, with smoke coming out his ears.
“Ok, now that that’s over, are you ready to go?” Sun asked Moon and the colts. And one filly.
“Yes I am.” Moon said.
“Same here!” The three colts shouted in unison, causing Sun and Moon to cover their ears in pain.
“Well let’s go.” Moon said while her wings fluttered.
“Ok, you four have fun. If you need me, holler.” Sun said, walking towards the town and leaving the four foals alone, completely forgetting about the destructive power of the Cutie Mark Crusaders.But they were running to Sugar Cube Corner
It Could Always Be Worse,And It Is
Falling Moon had came back home with Sweepie Bell flanking her. When they got to the door at the library Dusk opened it, hearing them, and watching a scene that was cute to play out.
“I had a lot of fun with you and the others.” Moon said
“Ya, I had a lot of fun with you too. So, want to hang out with us tomorrow?” Sweepie Bell asked.
“I dunno, if I can. Maybe if Dusk says yes, then I can.” Moon said while standing there.
“Well i guess i will see you later” Sweepie Bell said giving Moon a kiss on the cheek making her blush while he ran off after a second Moon fall on her haunches still blushing
“I think somepony had her self a good time” Sun said sneaking up behind Moon making the still blushing filly jump and glare at her
“Sh-shut up Sun” Moon said looking at her friend who was giggling like a school filly
“Sun don’t tease her ok?” Dusk said picking the filly up. “Come on Moon dinner is ready” He said while they all went into the kitchen after Moon had been sat in her chair she started eating faster than any filly
After an uneventful dinner and a good half hour of Moon singing in the bath the little filly walked into her bedroom only to hear her voice muffled through the door
“Come on i got this” Moon said while Sun walked in there too see a pink frilly bed sheet some purple curtains and a plush red carpet
“Need some help Moony?” Sun asked the blue filly causing her to fall on her flank
“Owwie learn to knock Sun” Moon said while Sun levitated the fillies pajamas on her
“There you go” Sun said with a bright smile “ I just hope you remember who you are sooner or later. I still need to know who that shadow thing was, and you studied that stuff more than I did. “ Sun thought to herself
“Hey Sun do i have to go to bed right now?” Moon asked giving a pair of puppy-dog eyes that could melt steel
“I guess not yet but in thirty minutes then it’s bedtime. I don’t want to hear any and, if’s or,but’s” Sun said seeing the filly was long gone “I hope we find our way back” Sun said to herself as she walked downstairs
“Sun can you tell me why Moon is not in bed right now?” Dusk asked seeing the filly running around like a madfoal
“She gave me the puppy dog eyes, and I could not say no to that” Sun exclaimed
“Ok that is a good reason” Dusk deadpanned while seeing Moon next to a shattered vase
“Sorry Dusk.” Moon said while Dusk was glaring at her
“Falling Moon that vase was a antique” Dusk shouted at the filly making her shrink down
“I'm sorry Dusk i did not mean to i swear” Moon said looking at the enraged Dusk Shine while tears streamed down her little cheeks as Dusk took her into another room
Moon ran up to her bedroom crying while she slammed the door Sun and Barb looked at Dusk who just shrugged
“What did you do to her Dusk?” Sun asked glaring at Dusk who just stood there not moving
“Ya Dusk, what did you do to Moon? She did not mean to break the vase. You know it, I know it, Sun knows it and Moon knows it.” Barb said trailing off
“Well i just lectured her that is all” Dusk deadpanned while still earning glare from Sun and Barb
“Still she was crying Dusk that is a little mean” Barb said looking at Dusk
“Well she should have been in bed by then so i don't want to hear it and i think there is a little dragoness that needs to be in bed herself” Dusk said looking right at Barb
“Dusk, lay off. Whatever you said drove her to tears. Now, I’m going to make sure she’s ok, and you,” Sun glared at him, “Are going to stay out. GOT IT?”
“Whatever you say. Geeze, some mares.” Dusk said
“WHAT WAS THAT!?” Sun half-yelled. If looks could kill, Dusk would have been sixty feet under by now.
“Nothing” Dusk squeaked out
“Alright then. Barb, you’re in charge of him right now, and any protests are to be met with whatever level of punishment you deem necessary.” Sun stated.
“I am older then her Sun” Dusk said
“And right now you’re acting like a moron. Therefore, Barb is in charge.
“I might he doesn't really bother me much. Heck Sun, I think me you and Moon should do something tomorrow.” Barb said
“Ok, but for now, goodnight.” Sun said, walking into Moon’s room. “Moon, you ok? You want me to keep you company?” She asked, only getting snoring as a reply. She chuckled and walked over to Moon’s bed, laying down beside it and letting sleep take her...

Sun awoke the next morning to a small hoof hitting her stomach.
“Ow. Damian has a mean right hook.” She whispered to herself.
“Morning and who is Damian?” Barb asked walking into the room
“Uhhhh, he’s just an old colt-friend. Moon hit me in her sleep and I thought it was Damian for a second.”
“Wait he used to hit you oh no that is not cool we should te-” Barb was cut off
“What? No! Damian never hit me on purpose. When he fell asleep, he used to suffer from seizures, and since we shared a bed, and NO, we were not intimate, he used to hit me while he was suffering them.” Sun lied.
“Ok then as long as he never hit you on purpose” Barb said
“He didn’t. Now, has himself been behaving?” Sun asked.
“Oh Dusk i did not even look after him he is a full grown stallion so i went to bed” Barb said
“Well alright then. Moon, you wanna get a head-start on magic so you can make Dusk look stupid?” Sun asked with a small smile.
“No, I wanna go back to sleep.” Moon whined. Sun chuckled and obliged her, casting a small spell to let her sleep for a couple more hours. “There. So Barb, got any plans for today?”
“Nope. Well, I was hoping me, you and Moon could go to the spa or something” Barb said
“That sounds good to me. Anyway, Barb, I have something to ask.”
“Sure be my guest” Barb said with a smile
“Ok. You know when Moon and I ran off into the Everfree? I kinda lost a bet with her and now I have to ask out either Dusk or one of his friends. Any advice on who I should ask out, and how to go about it? I mean, to be honest, I never was good with the opposite sex.”
“Oh, this is going to be good. Well if it was me I would go for Dusk, seeing as his other friends are, well, you know. Bubble Berry is hyper so i would feel bad for you when you know and Rainbow Blitz, he boast too much. Butterscotch is too shy, see what i mean.” Barb said
“Blitz reminds me too much of my little brother, so he is out anyway. As for Butterscotch, I happen to like animals, so if I did ask him out we’d have something in common to talk about. Honestly, I think if I asked Dusk out, it would interfere with Moon’s lessons. And on the subject of relationships, how goes the attempt at wooing Dusk’s fashion designer friend, what’s his name again?”
“I don’t know if it would interfere with Moon’s study. It could be funny.” Barb said.
“Barb, think about it. If Dusk and I got into a relationship, we’d spend too much time making googly eyes at each other, and not enough teaching Moon to protect herself. After what happened in the forest, I can’t afford to not educate her in self-defense.”
“True. How about you just wait. Heck, you seen her making eyes at Sweepie Belle?” Barb said chuckling
“Oh yes. Thank Solaris we managed to convince her to give the CMC a chance huh? She’s got herself a colt-friend now.”
“Ya, I guess. But you know what they did yesterday.” Barb said
“They kissed, why?” Sun asked, confuesd.
“No, the cutie mark cavaliers tried cooking, well baking,” Barb said
“Oh, I remember the first time Moon tried that. Between you and me, Solaris is still picking frosting out of his mane and tail when nopony is looking.” Sun said, chuckling.
“Wow. Well, they almost set Cup and Carrot cake on fire.” Barb deadpanned

“I don’t even know that, nopony does.” Barb said
“If I get up will both you shut up.” Moon said while her wings flared
“The hell? That spell was supposed to work for another hour at least Moon.”
“Shut up, I am awake now, so what are we going to do?” Moon asked while sitting on her bed not moving off her rear.
“Uhh Sun watch your language around Moon” Barb said
“Don’t worry. I know for a fact Solaris used much harsher words after the ‘incident’ I just told you about. Swearing hardly affects her anymore.”
“Well what are we going to do today” Moon asked again
“Well, like I said, we’re going to give you a head-start on your magic training so you can make Dusk look stupid. That is, if you’re up to it? If not, we could always just...sit around reading?”
“I don’t wanna train magic” Moon said
“Falling Moon, you will be training, be it in magic, or bladework. That is non-negotiable.”
“Yes ma’am.” Moon said with a little fear
“Oh, sorry Moon. I just don’t want you to get hurt. That thing may come back, and if it does, you need to be able to protect yourself.” Sun state
“Or we could always just go and do something fun just us three Estive made Moon something” Barb said pulling out a dress
“No i will not wear that” Moon protested
“Oh yes you will Moony come on” Sun said while helping Moon take her pajamas off
“Fine then i will wear the stupid thing” Moon said as she had the dress placed on her

Moon, Sun and Barb all sat there in the spa just relaxing like there was not a worry in the world.
“Wow, I’ve never felt like this before. Can’t believe I never went to a spa before now.”
“Same here, it is nice.” Moon said sinking into the hot tub.
“So, Barb, Moon, anything else you want to do before we start Moon’s lessons?” Sun asked, cracking various joints all over her body.
“I dunno, I can’t think of anything.” Barb said
“Me either” Moon added
“Hmmmm...Ah! How about a prank? Question is, who should we prank, and what should the prank be? I’m thinking Dusk needs a pranking, what about you?”
“Ok i guess that sounds fun” Moon said
“Alright then. We’re gonna need the master pranksters to help us with this one, seeing as I suck at pranks. We’re gonna need to enlist Blitz and BB.” Sun said with a smirk as they left the spa and started wandering around aimlessly.
“No, I have an idea.” Moon said
“Ok then. Tell us.”
“Well lets put butter on the library floor” Moon said
“Ok, but that’s only a start. We need to build on it.” Sun said.
“Pfft Dusk is going to fall on his flank sounds good to me” Barb said
“True, but he’ll just remove the butter with magic. We need something that he can’t get rid of so easily. Hmmm, how about Poison Joke?” Sun suggested.
“No, that is too easy.” Moon said.
“Ok then, any more suggestions, Moony?”
“Dont call me Moony” Moon said
“Alright then, Little Moon.” Sun replied.
“Stop calling me that stuff my name is Falling Moon just call me Moon” Moon said trying to use the stare on Sun
“Moon, you know the only one who can use that is Butterscotch. Your imitation is ok, but it won’t work on me.” Sun retorted.
“Well you are just a big dum-” Moon was cut off by her own squeal seeing a letter land on her horn “Hey look a letter from Uncle Artemis”
“You need to work on your aim Barb. Anyway, what’s it say?”
“When Artemis sends them, I don’t see it coming.” Barb said
“And you do when Solaris does? That’s kinda weird. But enough about it, what does the letter say?”
“Well he wants to talk to you and Moon, but you more or less.” Barb said
“Alright. When does he want to see us?” I asked.
“Wait, we are going to Canterlot to see my Uncle Artemis?” Moon asked
“I guess so. And if we get time, if you want we can see Solaris too. So, when are we going.”
“He says whenever you are free” Barb replied
“Well, we can see him now, if he wants. We can postpone practice. Looks like you lucked out Moon.” Sun said with a small smile.
“Yay come on lets go now” Moon said jumping around
“Ok, you wanna come with Barb?” Sun asked, charging up her horn.
“No, if I don’t cook, then I don’t think Dusk will survive.” Barb said with a small giggle
“Suit yourself. Hop on my back Moon.” Sun said, her horn reaching maximum power.
“COME ON!” Moon shouted, already running and jumping onto Sun’s back as the spell went off and teleported the two all the way to Canterlot. Or to be more accurate, above it.
“Umm, Moon? You may wanna start flying, and also, pray I don’t hit the ground with a splat!” Sun said, bucking her passenger off as she started falling.
“Wait, what!?” Moon said flapping her wings for dear life,.but after a few seconds they were on the ground unharmed
“Ok, what the hell?” Sun said, confused.
“I got you both” Solaris said
“Thanks Solaris. I owe you one. Or is it two?”
“Daddy, there you are!” Moon said hugging Solaris.
“Ok, I’ll leave you two to have your father-daughter moment, and I’ll go find Artemis.”
“Ok, byebye Sun” Moon shouted as Sun trotted away
“Son? I’m older than you are Moon.” She called back with a laugh before vanishing out of earshot.

As Rising Sun went to Artemis's chambers she knocked on the door walking in after a second she was thrown on the bed
“HEY WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!?” Sun shouted.
“Shh, I need to make sure my brother is not around.” Artemis said
“Why? So he doesn’t hear you doing it with his daughter’s best friend and guardian?” Sun retorted, getting up to leave.
“No, because I know who you are, Stephen.” Artemis stated.
Sun froze mere feet from the door. “H-h-how...”
“I also know Citzen and Umbra brought you both here for a reason they need ‘Moon’ “
“What? They’re the ones responsible for us being here? For us being, well, gender-swapped?” Sun asked, her anger rising.
“Yes, now please calm down” Artemis said
“How am I supposed to calm down, when I might never see my family again, when Damian might never see his own family again, all because of two bastards who tried to kill me in an attempt to kidnap my friend.” Sun retorted.
“The more your anger rises, the more danger you are putting yourself and Damian in.”
“....dammit. Fine.” Sun said, starting to take deep breaths. “Ok. Calm.”
“Thank you. Now, I need to know, did your friend buy or find any jewelry before you came here?” Asked Artemis
“I think...a necklace, maybe?”
“Good now did it have anything on it a moon or something”
“Wait, how’d you know that?” Sun asked nervously.
“Well I kinda guessed. That necklace, where is it?” Artemis asked digging deeper and deeper
“I still have it here.” Sun replied, digging around in her ‘pocket’ and pulling it out.
“Ah good i need to...oh no that is not good”
“What? What’s not good?” Sun asked worriedly.
“Who was with you when you got this?” Artemis asked
“Just Damian as far as I can remember, why?”
“THINK DAMN IT WHO ELSE? YOU COULD BOTH DIE!” Artemis shouted
“I told you I....wait....LUKE!” Sun suddenly shouted.
“Long dark hair with blue eyes”
“The fuck? How’d you know?” Sun asked incredulously.
“Just as I thought. Did you ever see his shadow?” Asked Artemis
“No. I didn’t. We were too wasted to even think straight.” Sun admitted in shame. “Why? What does this have to do with Luke? Is he in trouble or something?”
“He is a part of Umbra”
“....BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!” Sun said, rolling on the floor in laughter. “That’s a good one. Now seriously, who is he?”
“This is no joke. You are both in danger. Luke was kidnapped when he was little and well Umbra did something to him.” Artemis stated
“What? What do you mean ‘Umbra did something to him’? What did he do?”
“I do not know, but i am sorry for what I did to your friend.”
“What you did? What do you mean? What did you do?”
“I wiped his memory but I can give it back, and we do not know where Luke is.”
“Wait, you took Damian’s memory? Why?”
“You noticed how he was acting different?” Asked Artemis
“Yeah, he forgot who he was. He actually believed he was Falling Moon.” Sun said flatly.
“No remembered, he was crying and too emotional but i will say Falling Moon and Rising Sun are very real”
“I assumed as much. But why are we in their bodies, and where are they now? Are they still here, being forced to watch as we have to live their lives, or were they sent somewhere else too?”
“They were sent to your world in your bodies. I gave them your memories and asked them to act like you. Please, you must forgive me i am sorry” Artemis deadpanned
“Artemis...dammit, I forgive you. But what now? Why did Citzen and Umbra do this in the first place?”
“Well did you ever notice when Damian fought his eyes began to glow red and white?”
“No. I don’t remember ever seeing him fight before.” Sun admitted.
“Here, now hold still, this might burn a little.” Artemis said placing his horn on Rising Sun’s head, showing her memories she had lost.
“AGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!” Sun screamed, clutching her head as if her life depended on it.
“See now what I mean.”
“Oww, fuck, that hurt. But yes, I saw. How the hell is that possible though?”
“He was blessed by the heavens and the demons.” Artemis said
“Ok...and I’m guessing that makes him this ‘Prophet’ that Citzen and Umbra are after.”
“Yes, with him they can destroy everything.”
“Destroy? Not. Gonna. Happen.”
“When your leg regrew that was him. The power from the heavens.” Artemis stated.
“So I was right. Damian was the one who gave me my leg back. I owe him big time.”
“Yes you do, now I can give him his memories back, if you want.” Artemis said
“I’d appreciate it. Oh, and I have a random question to ask. I made up Knight in my world, and made him Luna’s son in my story-”
“Yes, Rising Knight is real.”
“That wasn’t my question. My question was, is Rising Sun your daughter?”
“Well in a way she was. We took her in as a small filly, and she has been like family to us.” Artemis said
“So, she’s your step-daughter?”
“No, not that either, she was left in the gardens with a knot stabbed into her horn, the poor thing. We took her in though, and gave her a place to stay.”
“I see. So, is there an alternate version of this world where Rising Sun’s backstory i-”
“Yes, but Rising Knight is a pegacorn.” Artemis stated
“Ok. So, what now?”
“Well we need a certain filly to get her memory back”
“Ok, allow me. Which reminds me, how come magic comes so naturally to me?”
“Humans can use magic, it is just hard for some, unlike you and Damian. Think like that one show you both watched..Fullmetal Alchemist, kinda like that or that one movie The Craft” Artemis said
“Ok then.”
“I know it seems strange but then again you are a female” Artemis chuckled out
“Shut up, or I’m gonna start calling you dad in front of everyone. Though, honestly, you do act a lot like my dad.”
“Well, do what you so wish.”
“Ok, you asked for it,” Sun said with a smirk, pouncing on Artemis and wrapping her forelegs around him, “Dad...”
“Uhh I don’t know how to react to this.” Artemis deadpanned
“You’re the one who told me to do as I wished. And you do remind me of my dad.”
“Cleaver one you are.”
“My dad said that too. You know that Damian doesn’t know the truth about my dad, don’t you?”
“No, I do not.”
“Seriously? You know all about us, and you don’t know about my dad?
“That is your personal life which I do not meddle in.” Artemis stated
“Yet you saw fit to take Damian’s memories from him.” Sun retorted.
“I was protecting him.”
“Maybe so, but it still makes you a hypocrite, partially. And as for my dad, he died when I was a kid, a little before I met Damian. The guy he met was my step-dad.”
“Wow, I am so sorry.”
“Yeah, now you see why I acted like that. In a way, it’s sorta like you’re my dad reincarnated or something, you seriously act just like him.”
“Well he must have been a wise man” Artemis said with a smile
“Yes, but it didn’t save him from that knife-wielding maniac who threatened to slit my throat.”

Chapter 10: Moon's Memory Is Back
Artemis’ horn suddenly flashed. “Well, I gave your friend her memory back.” He said, “They will return by the time she finishes in the bath. But, she has one problem that the real Falling Moon has. ”
“Well dad, what is the problem?” Sun asked.
“Well, let’s just say Falling Moon had a little bed wetting problem.” Artemis chuckled.
“Wait, so you’re telling me that Moon was a bedwetter, and now Damian is too?” Sun asked, her jaw hanging just barely over the floor.
“Well in a manner, your friend is Moon, so yes, she will be.” Artemis stated.
“Ok...wait, do I have any conditions I need to know about?” Sun asked worriedly.
“Well Rising Sun had a bit of a temper, do you have a temper?” Artemis asked seeing a glare from Sun
“I think the fact that saying that makes me want to punch the wall says it all, don’t you?” Sun growled, taking a deep breath, her glare turning into a worried frown. “Seriously, are we gonna end up being exactly like them or something? Are we gonna lose what made us, well us?”
“Well, no, not really, but if you just gained her temper,” Artemis let out a nervous laugh “Heh, you're not planning on hitting something or me for that matter are you”
“No. If I get angry I’ll just find something that could actually withstand a buck from me.” She replied, letting off a quick kick into the wall, leaving a small dent.
“Poor wall, what did it do to you?” Artemis asked jokingly.
“Ha ha. So, when this is over, Damian and I can go home, right?” Sun asked hopefully.
“Well you have a choice to stay or go.” Artemis said
“As much as I like this place, I can’t abandon my little sister. It would be like if Solaris abandoned you somewhere and chose not to try and go back for you. I couldn’t do that to Meadhbh.” Sun said sadly.
“NOOOO, GET AWAY FROM ME!” They heard a high pitched voice shout “YOU WILL NEVER TAKE ME ALIVE!”
“Uhhh, what’s going on? Is that Moon?”
“Yes it is. I have a feeling her memory is back.” Artemis said with a sigh, “Well, at least she is clean now.”
“Wait...what if she comes after you for taking her memories away in the first place? She’ll be looking for revenge.” Sun said, taking a few cautious steps away from the Lunar Stallion.
“Hey, you went along with it and made her wear a dress, so you have some blame to take.” Artemis smirked.
“BECAUSE SHE WAS ACTING LIKE THE REAL FALLING MOON BECAUSE OF YOUR SPELL!” Sun retorted.
“Calm down now.” Artemis said calmly, placing a wing on Sun’s back in an attempt to calm her.
“Alright then, dad. Hey, I have a question...how did we get named Falling Moon and Rising Sun, when Moon is Solaris’ daughter, and Sun... well I don’t know what Sun’s family tree is like.” Sun asked, raising her eyebrow as Artemis retracted his wing.
“Well Moon was born when I was lowering the moon and Sun, well, nopony knows.” He explained.
“I see. Hey, when I do go home, do you think you’d be able to visit sometime?”
“I do not think so.” Artemis said sadly
“Oh. Well, if Dam-Moon, sorry, if Moon decides to stay, keep her out of trouble for me.” Sun said, just as the door burst open, and a wide-eyed Moon ran through, slamming it shut behind her.
“Hide me.” Moon said, jumping behind Sun.
“Hey, it’s ok. What happened?” Sun asked, levitating the filly onto her back.
“Shaddup they are trying to put a ribbon in my hair.” She exclaimed.
“Don’t worry. Hey dad, you think you can tell them to cool it with the, accessorizing?”
“Yes, I think that is reasonable.” Artemis said, walking outside for a brief moment. Sun and Moon could barely make out what was said, but it sounded like Artemis was giving them a stern talking-to. They shared a relieved look when he came back in with a smile and said “Alright, they will leave accessories out of your mane now.”
“Ok. So, Moon, dad over here says we have a choice when this is over. We can stay, or we can go home. What will you do? I’ve already chosen to go, seeing as Meadhbh still needs her big brother. After all, she’s gotta have someone to take her frustrations out on.” Sun said with a small grin.
“I will go home; reason being is when I get back I plan on getting DRUNK OFF MY ASS!” Moon stated.
“Not me. I’m never touching another drop of alcohol as long as I live.” Sun said seriously.
“Thats what they all say, yet I can get them to drink.” Moon laughed.
“I’m serious Moon. Never again.” Sun deadpanned.
“Come on, we need to party when this is over, I mean--hey is that the necklace I bought?” Moon asked.
“Uh, not sure. Dad?” Sun deflected.
“Yes, this is it. Here you go, Moon.” Artemis said placing the necklace around Moon’s neck “And Sun, I think its time for a certain filly to go to bed.”
“You heard him Sun, time for you to go to bed.” Moon said with a chuckle.
“I think he meant you, Moon. You’re the filly, I’m a mare.” Sun stated in a matter-of-fact tone.
“What, no he did not!” Moon shouted.
“Dad? Who is going to bed? Me, or Moon? And where are we staying?”
“Well, Sun’s room is next to mine, and Moony, it’s time for bed.” Artemis said
“Told you. And thanks, dad.” Sun said with a small smile, briefly embracing Artemis before trotting to the room next door.
“Wait, what, no way! I am not going to bed right now, I am already stuck in these pajamas!” Moon pouted.
“DO IT OR I STICK YOU IN ANOTHER DRESS IN FRONT OF SWEEPIE BELL!” Sun declared from her room.
“Sun I would not try that if I was you; with alicorn fillies their magic sometimes is connected with their emotions.” Artemis warned.
“The only way I will go to bed is if you drag me there a-”
“Oh hey Solaris.” Sun said with a smug grin, peeking her head out the door to see Moon’s reaction.
“Hey, look at the time I was just going to bed.” Moon said nervously, before taking off in a random direction at a gallop.
“Wow. Didn’t think she’d move that fast.” Sun chuckled.
“And she is going to Moon’s bedroom.” Artemis laughed, “Lets just hope that she does not wet the bed.”
“Yeah.” Sun concurred, turning back to her own room. “Night dad.”
“Goodnight Sun.”

Chapter 11: The Final Battle And A New Filly
Citzen and Umbra
“The final battle approaches us, master Citzen.” Umbra said, looking right at Citzen, who was wearing his armor, ready to lead the fight, ready to take down the chosen one, once and for all.
“I know this Umbra. As long as the elements do not get in our way we will win the battle and destroy the prophet.” Citzen said with venom dripping off every word he said. “We must kill princess Falling Moon before she can fulfill the final prophecy.”
“I understand mast shall we go and prepare the army for the war?” Umbra asked, receiving a nod. Umbra walked out to a balcony seeing hell fires and thousands of ponies waiting.
“Ponies of Citzen, today is the day we win the final battle! This is the day we will take over! ” Umbra took a breath. “Not many of you will walk out of this battle alive. If anything, none of you will walk out of this alive. So, let us prepare! ” With that there was a chorus of ponies shouting ‘For Citzen’
Falling Moon had awoken to giggling. When the small filly looked, up she noticed it was Rising Sun giggling at her. Moon blinked her eyes, trying to pay no attention to her friend, still shifting in her bed to try and find a comfortable spot and go back to sleep, only to find her bed was not very comfortable. She sat up, rubbing her eyes with her tiny hooves.
“Ugh what happened? Did a water pipe break or something?” Moon asked, earning another giggle from Sun. “What is so funny about that question?” Moon asked, now annoyed.
“Oh, you can say a pipe busted.” Sun giggled, “A pipe named Falling Moon.”
“Sun, what are you getting at?” Moon asked getting flustered hearing Sun’s giggles calming down.
“Moon do I need to spell it out for you?” Sun asked, “You wet the bed.” bursting into another fit of giggles, much to Moon’s slowly dying pride.
“Sh-shut up!” Moon yelled at the top of her lungs, grabbing her head a few seconds later and screaming in agony.
“MOON!” Sun cried worriedly, picking up her friend and cradling her as she continued to wail. “Moon, what’s wrong?”
“GAH MY HEAD ITS ON FIRE!” Moon yelled once more, “IT HURTS! IT IS LIKE I AM IN LAVA!” Moon then started slamming her head on the headboard of her bed in attempt to make the pain stop.
“Moon, stop!” Sun yelled, dragging her friend away from the headboard and holding her tightly against her chest.
“Why the hell does this burn so much it feels like that time you lit my head on fire!”
“Hey, I was eight, how was I supposed to know that non-flammable stuff was actually flammable!” Sun protested as she stroked Moon’s mane in an attempt to comfort her.
“Wait do you see that?” Moon asked pointing out a window with nothing but the castle gardens
“See what?” Sun asked, looking out but not seeing whatever Moon was pointing at.
“That! Those demon looking things!” Moon said, now sounding crazy. “My head, oww.”
“Demon lo-FUCK! They’re here?!” Sun yelled, grabbing Moon and securing the filly to her back before rushing out the door towards Artemis’ chambers. “Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck!”
“What is it Sun?” Artemis asked, seeing Sun’s distraught face.
“Those guys you were talking about, Citzen and Umbra? I think they’re coming. Moon said something about seeing Demon things outside.” Sun replied worriedly, panting slightly.
“Is she okay? What happened, and hurry, put Moon on the bed!” Artemis said, now throwing orders around.
“Her head is in pain. She said it felt like it was in lava, then she said she saw those demon things, which I can’t see, apparently.” Sun said, placing Moon on the large bed as gently as she could.
“The final battle approaches us.” Artemis mumbled.
“And with it, so does the time for me and Damian to go home, right?” Sun asked hopefully.
“I can not tell you that, but first, Moon must fulfill the prophecy.”
“What is this prophecy? Dammit, this sounds like something from a bad fanfic.” Sun muttered.
“Moon is the last piece of the puzzle. If she dies so do all of the universes, along with everything in them. We must protect her.” Artemis stated “As soon as we can, get Dusk and the others here to use the elements on Citzen and Umbra. It should be over after that.”
“It’s never that simple, Dad. Something always comes along to fuck up the initial plan. We’d better be prepared to adapt when it does.”
“Not when the plan has been this way for thousands of years”
“Really? Like Di-Eris’ plan that she'd concocted from the moment she was sealed in stone?”
“She had not been planning that for that long”
“Dad, she’s a typical mad villain. They always plan from the moment of their first defeat. So cliché.”
“Ladies, stop your damn bickering.” Moon said standing up weakly
“Moon, stay down, you could have another attack.” Sun stated, trying to force the filly to lie down again.
“No. I am fine, don’t worry your pretty little head off.” Moon said, swatting Sun away. “This endless mercy mile must end now.”
“Master Citzen we are to believe that the prophet is suspecting our attack.” Umbra said with a small amount of worry creeping into his voice.
“She will die soon. Then, we will rule everything.” Citzen stated taking a deep breath. “But Umbra, if I do not make it back, I want you to take over ruling.”
“Yes sir.” With that Citzen took his leave to plan the attack
“Sun I hoped not to resort to this but we need to tell my brother” Artemis said
“Why didn’t we do that in the first place? Why did you need to keep it from him Dad?” Sun asked.
“You see I did not tell you the whole truth about Sun and Moon. They are not in your bodies on earth.” Artemis took a breath. “They died, but my brother never knew.”
Sun just stared at Artemis for a few seconds. “... You lied to me. What else did you lie about? Is there even a way back home for us?”
“Yes, there is a way back for you two, but I guess whatever brought you here felt sorry about the loss of Sun and Moon. Please forgive me.” Artemis pleaded, unable to meet Sun’s eyes..
“They are coming, and soon. We need to rest for the battle.” Moon said solemnly. “First thing’s first, we need the elements here, and right now, to help out. And then I need some badass looking armor.”
“And you need that sword that came with us too. What happened to it anyway?”
“Nopony knows, and for that matter Moon, you will not be in this fight. You will stay hidden.” Artemis scolded both of them. “It is only for the best. If anything is lost, she can rebuild it.”
The three sat in silence as somehow, almost as if on cue, Dusk, Bubble Berry, Butterscotch, Rainbow Blitz, AppleJack and Elusive came into the room Sun and Moon looked at Artemis as if he had planned it which indeed he had
“Prince Artemis we got your message and the elements are ready.” Dusk Shine said, ready for the fight ahead of them.
The battle had started a while after the elements had arrived. Artemis had huddled both Sun and Moon into a safe room, despite their protests. He was having none of it, he wanted to make sure that as he put it, “Both of them were safe and would survive.”
“Dammit all I need to get out there and help somehow.” Moon shouted, pacing back and forth, still determined to fight.
“Same. He lied to me at least once already. Trusting him about this is just asking for betrayal.” Sun said, walking up to the door and slamming one hoof against it angrily.
“Yeah, well shut up.” Moon said “I need to think”
“Don’t think too hard, your brain might explode.” Sun muttered.
“Then you’re....damn, that was a good comeback.” Moon did not even notice a crimson red and pearl white aura surrounding her.
“Uh, Moon... what’s with the light show?”
“What are you talking about? This is no time for jokes!?” Moon snapped at her friend, only to see the glow herself. “What going on here!? Who is doing this!?”
“Moon, I think it’s you.”
“I think it’s that blessing thing dad mentioned. Maybe when you get angry it activates?” Sun suggested.
“I am not angry, but-” The only noise was a high pitched scream coming from Moon and Sun. Now they stood in front of Citzen and Umbra, with the elements behind them.
“Now at last the little prophet is here” Citzen removed his helmet with a big toothy grin his teeth looked like daggers his coat was blood red as was his eyes “Now come here Moon. Your daddy told me to come and get you.”
“Fuck you.” Sun growled, stepping between Citzen and Moon. “You’re not touching her.”
“You silence” Umbra said slamming Sun on the ground
“Moon, RUN!” Sun yelled, struggling in vain to free herself.
“No, I’m tired of running.” Moon said, stepping forward, “I’m tired of hiding from these fucking clown shoes. They think because they’re gods they can rule over me in fear.” Moon then rose her head up. “Well, guess what. You are dead. Fucking. Wrong.”
“You should not speak like that little filly.” Citzen said lunging at Moon only for her to disappear
“Oooh, you’re in trouble now asswipe.” Sun stated smugly.
As if by some great force Moon appeared in front of Dusk Shine wearing a tiara with a white gem that had an angel wing on it, along with a deep red gem with that of a demon wing on it. “I have had enough of your shit Citzen! IT ENDS NOW!”
“Oh look at you, trying to fight me.” Citzen said just as smugly as Sun. Within seconds all seven of them were flying in air, with Moon’s eyes glowing; one a burning white and one a deep red. The rainbow now had a pearl white on it along with a deep red. Falling Moon’s wings opened as she began to speak.
“This is the day the end of Citzen and Umbra. This is the day that everybody affected by you will be saved. Today is the day you die!” she finished as the rainbow blasted Citzen, causing him to turn into a pile of ashes along with Umbra. When it was finished Moon fell to the ground unconscious.
“MOON!”
“Is she okay Sun?” Dusk asked rushing to her side.
“I don’t know, I’m not a doctor!” Sun retorted. “Come on, Moon. Please be ok. Wake up. WAKE UP DAMIAN!”
Moon let out a small cough. “Is he dead now?*cough*”
“Yeah, he is dead. You won.” Sun said.
“Are you two ready?” Artemis asked “I just want you both to know that my brother will not take the news lightly.” Moon just nodded.
“I’m just looking forward to seeing Meadhbh again.” Sun replied.
“I know you are, but after this I must tell you both something.” Artemis said as the three went into Solaris’ chambers.
“Yo, Sunny.”
“*sigh* Rising Sun could you please not call me that?” Solaris asked
“Brother we must tell you something.” Artemis said
“And what is it” Solaris asked looking at them
“The ponies you see before you are not the real Rising Sun and Falling Moon.” Artemis took a breath “The real Rising Sun and Falling Moon died. These ponies are from another universe. The little filly just so happens to be the one who saved the world.”
“Is this true? Are you BOTH IMPOSTERS!?” Solaris shouted causing Moon to cower behind Sun
“Hey, back off. I won’t let you hurt Damian.” Sun growled, taking a defensive stance.
“What happened to my daughter?” Solaris asked.
“My dear brother she died along with the real Rising Sun.” Artemis saw the look of horror on his brother’s face.
“I understand.”
“Also for that matter, Stephen and Damian, I have one last thing to tell you both.” Artemis said
“Fine, but afterwards, you send us home. I want to see my sister.” Sun replied impatiently.
“I am so sorry, but nobody in your world is alive.” Artemis stated “I can send you both back if you so wish but if not you can stay”
“... What do you mean, nobody is alive? WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED?!” Sun screamed, her eyes burning with rage.
“Both Citzen and Umbra got ahold of them.”
Moon took a deep breath “I will stay here.”
“I... I can’t do this. I need to go somewhere. Anywhere.” Sun muttered, galloping out the door, not bothering to look where she was going, only focusing on getting as far away as she could from where she was.
“Sun wait!” Moon shouted, running after the older mare
“NO!” She yelled, picking up the pace and leaving Moon in the dust.
“Rising Sun get over here right now, am I understood?!” Artemis shouted, picking the unicorn up with his magic.
“NO! I CAN’T BELIEVE I THOUGHT I COULD CALL YOU DAD!” She retorted loudly, still running, though with no ground beneath her feet she wasn’t going anywhere..
“I was only protecting you. If you knew, you would have died along with Moon. If Moon got that lucky.”
Sun stopped struggling and turned to Artemis. “Shut up. Shut the fuck up and leave me alone!”
“Sun, please come back.” Moon asked as she gave her now masterful puppy dog eyes
“No. Put me down, Prince Artemis.” Sun spat.
“Sun, running off will not bring them back if anything your friend needs you.” Artemis said
“He doesn’t need me. He has Solaris and you to take care of him. If anything, me being gone is better for both of us.” Sun retorted. “Besides, I don’t want to be anywhere near you.”
“No it is not! You are the only one I have left now!” Moon shouted.
“How so? Artemis is letting you stay here, letting you stay as Solaris’ daughter.” Sun stated.
“But still everybody I knew but you are dead! YOU BETTER STAY HERE NOW!” Moon shouted
“Why? So Artemis can lie to me some more?”
“I only did it to protect you and I have a feeling you will be seeing your sister soon” Artemis stated
“NO! YOU DID IT BECAUSE YOU DON’T CARE! YOU WANTED US HERE TO SAVE YOUR SORRY FLANK WHEN YOU COULDN’T DO IT YOURSELF AND YOU LIED TO US TO MAKE SURE IT HAPPENED!”
“No I know you will be seeing her soon”
“And what about my family?” Moon asked
“Like I said before, you have Solaris and Artemis to take care of you. Sun doesn’t have any family anyway, so I have no real reason to stay.”
“Have you forgotten that I am a god and can do almost anything?” Artemis chuckled “Also I have a feeling you are going into heat sooner than expected”
“Why should that matter? All I plan on doing is finding some isolated area to spend whatever amount of time I have to live, alone. Nothing to bother me, nothing for me to bother. When my ‘heat’ comes, there won’t be anything to tempt me. Now, just let me go so I can get away from this place.” Sun said.
“But don’t you want to see your sister again?” Artemis asked
“You said she was gone.” Sun retorted. “Last time I checked, dead people can’t come back.”
“Once again I am a god. I can bend the rules.” Artemis chuckled.
“For the love of He is saying when you get knocked up you are going to birth your sister” Moon huffed “Fucking shit!”
“Moon, watch your mouth.” Artemis warned the filly
“... My sister, will become my... daughter? That’s messed up.”
“No, not your daughter. She will have all her memory, and she will grow rather fast. She will grow a year everyday until she reaches age seven” Artemis explained.
“I’m pretty sure that if I give birth to her she’s not my sister anymore, but my daughter. And as I said before, that’s messed up.”
“No she will remember who she is but she will need a new body and this is your one shot at it”
“... Even if what you’re saying is true, and after being lied to twice, I refuse to trust you as far as I could throw you, what exactly would the two of us do? We don’t exactly have a home, do we?
“When he said he would wash my mouth out with soap if I kept cursing he was not lying.” Moon deadpanned.
“Moon, that’s a minor thing. He lied to me about major shit.”
“Come on please for me I will do anything if you come back.” Moon begged
“There’s nothing you can do to convince me, Moon. I want to get away from here, from him, and I’m not about to change my mind.”
“Remember when you woke up the other day, and you had a nail in your ass? That was me.” Moon beamed hoping her plan had worked.
“What. Did. You. Say?” Sun growled.
“I was the one who made a nail go into your flank.” Moon said “And you can not do anything about it” Moon just laughed.
“... Fine. I don’t care. Like I said, I just want to leave.”
“Fine, if you do not come back, then I will jump off Canterlot head first.” Moon threatened.
“I’m. Not. Staying here.” Sun repeated.
“What will it take for you to stay?” Artemis asked
“There’s nothing you can offer me. I thought you were like my dad. I was wrong. You’re nothing like him. And I want nothing more to do with you!”
“You are so fucking stubborn! Wash my mouth out later if you need to, but for fuck sake Sun, just come back! He is a Alicorn he can overpower you in an instant so come back or let him do what he wants.” Moon snapped hitting Sun in the face
“... I don’t care. Live or die, I just don’t care anymore. My parents are dead. My sister is dead. Everyone and everything I ever knew is gone.”
“Your sister will not be dead for long if you just come back.” Artemis stated
“To what? To a world where she has no one, and knows nothing? I CAN’T TAKE CARE OF HER! SHE NEEDS A FATHER, AND I CAN’T BE THAT FOR HER! HELL, I CAN BARELY TAKE CARE OF MYSELF MOST OF THE TIME! IF YOU THINK I’M GOING TO BRING HER INTO THIS WORLD JUST TO WATCH HER DIE BECAUSE THERE’S NO ONE TO LOOK AFTER HER, THEN YOU CAN FORGET IT!”
“You are royalty in a manner” Artemis chuckled
“What the fuck? How so?” Sun asked, holding her throat, which was sore from her shouting.
“You will be helping with Moon, so I will pay for all housing and anything else you need if that is what it takes.” Artemis offered.
“That doesn’t make me anything remotely resembling royalty. What you described is a babysitter. Or a foalsitter, I guess.”
“Along with me adopting you.” Artemis laughed.
“Also, Dusk is waiting for you.” Moon said bursting into a fit of giggles
“... wait, what? Adopting me? WHAT?!” Sun asked, staring at Artemis with wide eyes.
“Yes adopting. Now, how about you return home?”
“So you and Dusk can do the nasty” Moon laughed out “This is going to be worth punishment they dish out”
“... why? Why would you adopt me? What the hell would you have to gain?” Sun asked incredulously.
“Well, Rising Sun was like a child to me, and you remind me of her. That, and I have always wanted a child of my own.” Artemis said
“... I... I don’t-”
“Just say yes you dumb bitch!” Moon blurted out
“Also if you want, you can choose Moon’s punishment after we wash her mouth out.” Artemis smirked.
“... if I agree to this, you have to promise you’ll be there for Meadhbh. You have to promise that no matter what, you’ll be there to protect her when she needs her father.”
“Yes, I promise, as soon as you give birth to her, I will make sure she is alright.” Artemis smiled putting Sun down.
“I still can’t stop thinking that it’s messed up that I have to give birth to my own sister.”
“I find it funny you are going to get screwed by Dusk freaking Shine.” Moon said giggling again
“Who said it would be Dusk? Maybe it might be RB, or BB, or Elusive. Heck, maybe it might be Butterscotch?”
“Oh come on, you know you want him.” Moon said with a laugh. “You damn slutty mare.”
“That’s gonna be you in a few years, you know that, right Moon?” Sun joked.
“At least I am not birthing my own sister.” Moon smirked
“I’m never gonna get to live that down, am I?”
“No, you are not.” Moon stuck her tongue out
“Well then, get over here so I can give my new cousin a death-noogie!” Sun exclaimed, charging after Moon.
“Once again Sun, you get to punish her.” Artemis said, “After a certain potty mouthed filly gets her mouth washed out.”
“Son of a bitch.” Moon mumbled out
“You know, washing someone’s mouth out with soap generally tends to actually make people swear more, not less.” Sun explained.
“Either that or I could tell Solaris and he could give her a whipping” Artemis shrugged
“I’m pretty sure that falls under corporal punishment, and that’s illegal, isn’t it?” Sun inquired.
“No, not here. It is legal, and he is her father.” Artemis stated
“Hmmm, sorry Moon, guess it’s mouth-washin’ time.” Sun said with a shrug and a smirk.
“OH COME ON!” Moon shouted as she was dragged away.
Sun turned to her step-father with a nervous frown. “... Artemis?”
“Yes”
“I’m... sorry, for what I said.”
“It is understandable, but if you want, you can wash her mouth out” Artemis said with a slight laugh
“No thanks. But... can I-can I start calling you dad again?”
“If you wish to.” Artemis said, smiling, “Well, let us get back to the castle. I am sure you are ready to see your sister.” Artemis laughed again. “After your filly shower that is.”
“Yeah... wait, filly shower? But I’m not pregnant.” Sun said with a raised eyebrow.
“No the filly shower is for my new filly.”
“Oh, congrats, who’s the lucky mother?” Sun asked.
“I am looking at the filly right now” Artemis said looking right at Sun
“... wait... WHAT?! OH FUCK NO!” Sun yelled, bolting backwards.
“Oh no you don’t” Artemis said levitating Rising Sun
“Dammit... you know, I just realised, that apology came way too easy to me. Seriously, what the fuck? Is being here messing with me or is it the new hormones, or what?”
“What the hell why doesn’t she get her mouth washed out?” Moon asked
“I’m an adult, Moon. You’re a foal. That’s why.” Sun said in a matter-of-fact tone.
“Well come on my little filly lets get you ready.” Artemis said joyfully “But first we have to deal with you, Moon.”
“You know what, I think you should just let her off with a warning.” Sun suggested.
“I did that already yet she will not stop”
“Well, she is technically an adult. At least mentally, she is.”
“But still an adult.” Sun retorted. “Come on, dad. Just let her off. Please?” Sun stuck out her lower lip in her best attempt at an adorable pout.
“The answer is still no, unless you want me to do the same to you?”
“Uhhh, no thanks, I’m good dad. But still, why did the whole apology thing come as easily as it did. I kinda expected to be too angry to even think about apologising for weeks or something at least.”
“Who knows. It’s a mystery.” Moon shrugged.
“I guess... but I’m kinda glad it was easy. Means less time spent wallowing in self-pity, and more time with my dad, and, hopefully, my sister.”
“That is very true. Now, I think we should all rest for the night. You are going to have a big day tomorrow.”
“Yeah... in more ways than one...” Sun muttered.
“He also means you gonna be having some baby batter but in your ovaries” Moon said now laughing again
“Yeah and you wet the bed!” Sun snapped at Moon
“Low blow that was just a low blow.”

Chapter 6:Falling Moon Is Falling ill
“Moon? MOON! Aw, SHIT!” Sun exclaimed as she grabbed her friend and placed her gently on her back. “I’m taking her to the hospital. Meet me there, Dusk!”
Dusk didn’t even have time to prepare a response before Sun was gone, galloping out the door towards the hospital. He just frowned worriedly as he called Barb down to prepare a letter to the Prince regarding Moon’s sudden bout of ill-health.
“Uhhh, where are we going?” Falling Moon asked.
“Hospital! Try not to move!” Sun replied as she continued to run through the town, narrowly avoiding the growing crowd of ponies.
“Wait, why are we going there?” Falling Moon asked worriedly.
“You just got violently sick Moon. I don’t want it to get any worse without a doctor there to make sure you get better.” Sun stated.
“Ok.” Falling Moon said, putting her face into Rising Sun’s mane.
After a few minutes, they came to the hospital, to be met by Dr.Hooves.
“Get her in here now, and make it fast! Get her into a room!” Dr.Hooves barked to the orderlies behind him, and they scrambled to get the filly into a room.
“Why is he yelling? What is going on?” Falling Moon asked, scared.
“Hey, don’t worry. You’re gonna be ok Moon. I promise.” Sun replied softly, nuzzling her friend as she walked alongside her and the orderlies.
“Where are they taking me then?” Falling Moon asked, looking around the stretcher.
“They’re just taking you to a room so they can make sure you’re alright.” Sun said.
“Yes, that’s what we are doing.” Dr.Hooves lied, whispering to Rising Sun “We need to take her in for surgery. I know what is going on with her. It’s appendicitis , and we need to get her appendix out of her soon.” Dr.Hooves said
“What did he just say to you.” Moon asked.
“They just need to give you something to help you sleep, and when you wake up you’ll be right as rain.” Sun replied, hiding her fear behind a smile.
“Ok, now start running an IV through her, now!” Dr.Hooves stated. The last thing Moon saw before sleep took her was Sun’s face as a single tear leaked out of her eye.
Moon opened her eyes, only to quickly close them again as she was met with the harsh glare of an overhead lamp. Eventually, she managed to open them slowly enough to adjust. She looked around to find herself in a hospital bed, in what she assumed was a private room. Dusk and Sun were asleep in two small chairs, while Dusk’s assistant Barb was lying on top of Dusk. Moon chuckled a little, before noticing the figure beside her bed. Her face took on a look of confusion mixed with happiness as she saw the sleeping form of her father, Solaris, beside her.
“What is everypony doing here?” Moon asked quietly sneezing as she winced in pain. The sound was barely audible, but it was enough to rouse her father and Sun from their slumber. The moment they realised she was awake, they embraced her.
“Owwie, stop it hurts.” Moon said.
“Sorry Moon, we were just worried. They had to take you in for surgery, and there were, complications.” Sun replied, with worry evident in her voice.
“WHAT!? AM I OK?” Moon shouted, scared for dear life.
“Yes, my little Moon. You are alright. But you’ve been asleep for over a day.” Solaris answered.
“Oh, sorry for that.” Moon said.
“Not your fault Moon. Anyway, there’s something we need to tell you.” Sun replied.
“Huh, well what is it?” Moon asked.
“Falling Moon, Rising sun informed me that while you were camping two nights ago that he was attacked in the Everfree. He also informed me that you do not remember anything of the incident in question. From what he has told me, I have deemed it necessary for Guards to be placed in Ponyville for your protection.” Solaris stated with authority.
“What are you talking about?” Moon asked.
“Moon, the night before last, I got attacked in the woods by a shadow monster. I even lost my leg. Then it suddenly heals, and the next day you don’t remember anything. Solaris performed a scan on me. There was a time-release spell placed on me during the fight, and it erased your more recent memories.” Sun stated.
“Is that bad, auntie?” Moon asked with a hint of worry
“Moon, it means that whoever attacked me, they don’t want you knowing that they’re after you. I’m guessing that whoever they are, they won’t stop until they have you. That’s why your dad and I agreed to have Guards in Ponyville to protect you, but I’ve also been instructed to teach you bladework while both Dusk and I will be teaching you magic.” Sun said, before walking over and smacking Dusk upside the head to wake him up.
“WHA-Is it time for me to send a friendship report?” He asked groggily.
“No jackflank. It’s time for you to explain what you’ll be teaching Moon about magic.” Sun replied, rolling her eyes and eliciting a small chuckle from both Moon and Solaris.
“Wait daddy is everypony here, even Dusk?” Moon asked
“Right now, it’s just the five of us. Everypony else, including your uncle, is outside waiting, and they’ve been waiting ever since you came out of surgery
“Uncle Artemis is here?” Moon asked happily.
“Yes. He is.” Solaris smiled.
“Where is he? I wanna see him!” Moon said, trying to jump out of the bed, only to be held down by both Solaris and Sun.
“Woah, Moon. You just woke up, you need to stay in bed.”
“Awww, but I want to go and see uncle Artemis.” Moon whined.
“Alright my little Moon. Little brother, can you come in please?” Solaris called.
“I don’t see why not.” Artemis said, walking in and smiling when he saw Moon. “So, how are you doing Moony?” He asked.
“Don’t call me Moony!” Moon said with a pout.
“Sorry Moon, but you know I always feel compelled to call you that when I see you.” Artemis replied sheepishly.
“When can I go home.” Moon asked
“Well, now that you’re awake, you can go home any time you want.” Sun replied, smiling.
“Now, come on, now.” Moon said.
“Ok, Moon, calm down. We need to go over a few ground rules first.” Sun stated, earning a groan from Moon.
“Ok, what are they.” Moon asked while groaning.
“One, whenever you go out, you always go with either myself, or a Guard with you.”
“Ok, is that it?” Moon asked
“No. Number two, you will be sleeping in the same room as me.”Sun said
“NO WAY!” Moon shouted
“It’s not up for discussion Moon. They were willing to kill me to get to you. There is no way I’m leaving you alone at night for any reason.” Sun replied forcefully.
“But-” Moon tried to say before being interrupted.
“Please, Moon. I don’t want anything to happen to you. You’re like the closest thing I have to family.” Sun said.
“Fine, I will.” Moon said with a pout
“Ok. The last thing is that you’ll be spending time with Sweepie Bell and his friends. It’s sort of a chance for you to have fun.”
“What, no way! I will not spend time with them.” Moon said.
“Aw, come on. You know you’ll have a good time. Heck, Sweepie has a crush on you.” Sun laughed.
“What, no, I will not if he does.” Moon said, sticking her tongue out.
“Why not? I saw you blushing when he smiled at you, Moon.” Sun smirked, eliciting a laugh from everypony, and dragon, present.
“No, I did not.” Moon said.
“Look, you’re blushing right now! You thinking of him?” Sun asked.
“NO I AM NOT!” Moon shouted.
“Ok, ok. Sorry. But seriously, he really likes you. Can’t you just give him a chance?” Sun asked, holding a hoof up in defence.
“No way, I won’t do it.” Moon protested.
“It’s either that, or you spend every day in your room with only magical theories to study.” Dusk warned.
“But wwhhhhhyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy?” Moon whined.
“Moon, you need some friends your own age. I won’t always be around to do stuff with you, and neither will Dusk or his friends. Heck, even Solaris and Artemis will be busy at times.” Sun said.
“But I don’t want to spend time with boys.” Moon said making a puke noise.
“Moon, please. I don’t want you to grow up and not feel like you have any friends.”
“But boys are gross.” Moon complained.
“Hey, I resent that!” Dusk retorted.
“Point taken.” Barb said, chuckling.
“Anyway, they do all sorts of things to try and get their marks. Maybe you could try alongside them?” Sun offered.
“But I don’t want to.” Moon kept whining.
“Falling Moon, you will spend time with Sweepie Bell and his friends, and you will enjoy it!” Sun replied in a tone that almost rivaled the Royal Canterlot Voice. Almost.
“Fine, if it will get you to shut up.” Moon said
“Thank you. Besides, if they annoy you, I can teach you a cool spell to temporarily turn them into girls.” Sun said with a smirk, ignoring the glares being shot at her.
“Ok, sounds fair.” Moon said.
“Alright, if we’re done here, it’s time to take you back to the library, my little Moon.” Solaris said, scooping her up and placing her on his back with a smile, and she yawned happily, falling asleep as she buried herself in his mane.
“I agree with Moon, all you guys are gross.” Barb said.
“Hey, do you want to spend the next two weeks on dish duty Barb?” Dusk warned.
“So I will be doing a chore I already do.” Barb said.
“Not at the library, at Sugarcube Corner.” Dusk replied with a smirk, remembering how much of a mess Bubble Berry could make
“That is not a fair match. Need I tell prince Solaris about that thing?” Barb said with a smirk of her own.
“I’m afraid that I have no idea what you’re talking about Barb.” Dusk replied, sweating a little.
“Prince Solaris, remember that statue that got shattered?” Barb asked, making Dusk’s eyes grow
“You mean that statue of Starswirl the Longhaired?” Solaris replied with a raised eyebrow.
“The one and the only.” Barb said
“Barb...” Dusk begged.
“I was just wondering if you ever got it fixed.” Barb asked with a lie.
“I didn’t realise it was broken.” Solaris said, frowning.
“Oh, I thought you knew, woops my bad.” Barb said
