"Now girls how many times have I told you not and try to kill newcomers?" Twilight said as Zero's ear perked up.

'Kill? What the hell?'

Zero stood there as Spike twilight's number one sla- I mean assistant looked down at the 'feet' of the newcomer to see...

Paws?

Spike froze as he slowly looked at his dragon eyes seeing more and more things that told him this wasn't a pony, from the metal clawed fingers coming from the long sleeves of poncho along with what looked like a mask on the face of the being that poked out. Reaching for Twilight spike was about to get her attention but stopped when Rarity snapped...

"Twilight! I don't care if your the princess or not we can't have somepony wearing a dishrag for clothing I will not allow it!"

Applejack laughed.

"You call that a dishrag? Rarity that Poncho he's wearing is a lot better than that fancy-smashie clothes you make," Applejack said with a smile.

"*Rarity gasp* You. Take. That. Back!"

"Make me," Applejack grinned as Rarity stared into her eyes as sparks flew like out of an anime.

'Oh boy...'

Before the two could fight it off a gust of wind blew past the group sending Zero's hood back as the small action grabbed evreypony/dragon attention.

Zero froze as he felt like his entire body even his armor went white.

"Girls... Are you seeing what I'm seeing?" Applejack asked pointing to Zero who was still frozen.

Zero felt his body return to normal as he slowly raised his hand as his metal-covered limb came to view.

"Um... Greetings," They kept staring at him as he pointed behind him. "I'm just going to go,"

Turning to leave he again bumped into someon- er pony.

"Oh sorry," Zero said as a familiar buttermilk color pony looked up at him who was the one that bumped into him. "Excuse me I was just leaving,"

As he began to leave his ears were flat against his skull.

'Damn it I was hoping that wouldn't happen... damn wind why do you still do that?'

"EHHHHHHHHHH!" Zero froze.

"What? What's happ-"

Zero before he could turn he got body-slammed to the ground by what felt like a tank as he tumbled onto the ground.

"What in the creator's name was-" Before he could get up somepony jumped ontop of him and pinning his hands down.

"Your not getting away HUMAN!" Zero looked up.

'Wait... oh fuck... it her,'

Lyra the mint-colored pony stared at him with gold-colored eyes and with a smile that could make the joker run for its money.

"LYRA WHAT ARE YOU DOING!"

"HE'S A HUMAN AND I'M GOING TO PROVE IT!" Lyra shouted as the main six dashed towards her as she did something that made Zero's blood turn cold.

She grabbed his visor...

And pulled.

Zero not wanting to hurt her grabbed her wrists and tried to stop her from pulling it off, though to be honest the visor's locks were strong but he didn't want to take any chances.

"COME OFF YOU DAMN THING! YOU'RE A HUMAN I JUST KNOW IT!" Lyra screamed but before she could do it Applejack and Rainbow dash pulled her off with their combined strength.

"Here," Zero looked to see Spike's hand as Zero took it getting up.

"Thanks,"

"No problem... um... what are you-"

"HE'S A HUMAN!!!" Lyra screamed.

"What's a human?" Zero asked playing dumb.

"That doesn't matter but look at you now darling! We need to get a new get-up it's now covered in dirt!" Rarity said as Zero turned to her but as he did his Visor lit up blue as the group was slightly surprised by this action but soon saw the expression on Zero's visor.

"Whoa... nice," Rainbow stated.

"Sorry," Zero said.

"About what?" Spike asked.

"Well for everything I was really hoping the first contact will be a pleasant one apparently I was wrong," Twilight's ears shot up upon hearing this.

"It's fine dude you don't have to-" Spike was interrupted as Twilight shot over.

"FIRST CONTACT!" Twilight shouted with a smile.

"Um... yes?" Zero said as Twilight begin to go around Zero looking him up and down.

"SEE HE'S A HUMAN!" Lyra shouted as Twilight stared at the mint-color pony.

"Do humans have tails?" She asked seeing the black-furred tail of Zero.

"THAN WHAT IS HE IF NOT A HUMAN?!" Lyra shouted.

"Um... a Protogen?" Zero said as the group turned to him.

"""""""A Protogen?"""""""

"Sorry I wouldn't be breaking rule 32 useless I really need some help," Zero stated as the group looked at him.

Twilight began to jump up and down with a smile on her face that her friends knew too well...

"YOU'RE A ALIEN AREN'T YOU!" Zero looked back.

"Um... rude,"

Twilight blinked as her smile faded.

"What?"

"Yes to you I might be an Alien but it's considered Rude to use that word," Zero said as Twilight froze.

"OH NO! I'M SO SORRY IF I HAD TO KNOW I'LL NOT-" She said as Zero waved her off.

"It's fine only but I didn't think I would be making the first contact with a new race," Zero said as Twilight smiled.

"OH MY GODDESS OH MY GODDESS! Twilight broke using the royal canterlot voice.

"Yeah so-"

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING! LET ME GO! HE'S A HUMAN I KNOW IT! HE'S A HUMAN! HE'S LYING TO YOU HE'S A HUMAN!" Lyra said as she was taken away by some guards and followed by a disappointing Bonbon as a small crowd began to surround the strange-looking creature.

"Um... again what is a human?" Zero asked.

"Some creature that she supposedly thinks is a race in Equestria but there isn't any physical proof of their existence," Twilight said. "But besides that, I have SOOOO many questions! Do you have a male and female gender or do you reproduce a different way? How did you accomplish space travel? How many are you out there? How-"

Spike placed his claw on his mast- sorry 'Friend's' mouth.

"Sorry she would keep going on going and going if I didn't stop her," Spike said.

"It's alright," Zero said with a smile.

Twilight pushed his claw away.

"I have so many questions for you! Are you alone here or are there others? Where's your mothership?!" Twilight said with a notepad out.

"Um... Well... Yes I am alone and that's the thing... I accidently crashed here... I think," Zero said.

Rainbow dash turned to Zero.

"What do you mean 'I think'?" Rainbow dash asked to which Zero spoke.

"Well all I remember was my ship the dreadnought 'the reach' one of the two dreadnoughts that was defending the Xenom system was under fire and my escape pod was jammed leaving me stuck to the ship as it exploded but that leaves the question to me... why aren't I dead?" Zero answered.

The group looked at him.

Twilight was the first to speak

"Than how did you get here?" Twilight asked.

"Well that's the thing see escape pods are to land quick softly but mine landed TOO softly and my escape pod's chute system didn't activate so I had to landed within 250ft but that doesn't make since," Zero said as the group looked at him.

"Weird," Rainbow dash said as the rest nodded.

"Well actually," Twilight spoke.

All turned to her.

"There has been some strong magical surges that have been going around they are very weak but in the entire history of magic surges I've never heard about one so big that something can come though!" Twilight said. "Though it wouldn't surprise me if that did happen,"

Zero just looked at her.

"I... don't even know how to respond to that," Zero stated.

"Why? I mean you too must have magical surges as well from where your from since magic is greatly needed for anything to happen," Twilight said as Zero blinked.

"Magic? Uhhhhhhh... your kidding right? We don't use magic," Zero said as all looked at him wide eyed.

"WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!"

"What? Magic is a myth it can't be used or-"

"I used magic on you to teleport you away from Applejack and Rainbow dash," Zero looked at her blankly as his visor's face was replaced with a spinning wheel.

"Uh Twilight I think you broke him," Rainbow said.

"OR HER! We never got their gender!" Pinkie stated.

"Or if they even have one," Spike added.

The wheel went away before Zero's face came back.

"Alright one: this is very interesting but two: I'm a male," Zero said.

"So then... how about we get to my castle I would like to hear a little bit about your race!" Twilight said.

Fluttershy stared at Zero as she watched his tail go back and forth as she reached for it.

"Sounds like a plan but I'll tell you as much as I can tell you without breaking the rules," Zero said.

"What rules?" Applejack questioned.

"Well the many rules we Protogens and Synths are to follow by the creators," Zero said.

"Synths? What are they?" Spike asked.

"Kinda like our cousins see our creators had-"

*Grab*

Zero froze as his tail was grabbed by Fluttershy as she got down on her knees as she brushed it with her hand as the entire group and the crowd looked in shock.

Zero: 0/////0

"Soooo soft," Fluttershy said as she buried her head into his tail.

Heat began to build up in Zero's visor before causing him to fall over face down on the ground his tail free from Fluttershy's grasp and his visor blinking read and the word 'overheat' flashing in and out.

The group: "SWEET CELESTIA!"

"What happened?" Zero got up rubbed the back of his head.

The main six turned to see Zero back online as they saw him get up from the couch within the castle of friendship and Fluttershy was the first one to rush over to him with a look of worry on her face.

"I'm so sorry please don't hate me your tail was so soft looking I couldn't help myself," Fluttershy said as Zero got up.

"It's fine... just don't do that again," Zero stated as she smiled.

"Again I'm sorry,"

"Again it's fine really," Zero said as Fluttershy moved out of the way as he spoke.

"Where am I?" He asked.

"Were in my castle," Twilight said. "Now then you were talking about these synths right?"

Zero looked at her before sighing.

"Alright couldn't have given me five minutes to catch my breath," Zero said. "Better sit down best I tell you everything,"

"OHHHHH let me get the big notebook I got a feeling I'm going to need it," Twilight said as Zero was about to say something.

"It can't be that-" *THUD* "-That big... are you sure that's not a textbook?" Zero asked seeing the large five-ringed notebook.

"Nope!"

"Alright then how about I start with the history of my people's makers-"

"Should I get some snakes for this?" Rainbow asked as everyone turned to her.

"What? If this is going to be long might as well get some snacks,"

Applejack just pulled her from the air and onto a set.

"You can listen like the rest of us alright partner shoot,"

Zero nodded.

Alright so long LONG before I was created or even thought about my makers began life on their homeworld its name lost with the name of the creator's species name.

"How is that possible?"

Can I talk?

"Sorry,"

Right... so "the Creators" as they are now know started life on their homeworld which was rich in resources and was plentiful with life but they were the only sentient race of the world. Unlike most races and species the Creators never had a dark age because of the lack of religion there so-

"Your Creator didn't believe in anything?"

"Sorry,"

*Smack*

"Ow What was that for Applejack,"

*SHHH!*

Our creators didn't believe in anything but they never saw themselves as gods just very intelligent and within nearly 40,000 years they began to spread out to other worlds in the system slowly. Within nearly 5,000 years later they had a colony on each world and their moons, the system was rich with raw metal and life though sadly this wasn't to last for the system's star could only last for another 100,000 years my makers knew this and began to rush to build themselves and scout out any local solar systems suitable for them.

After nearly 80,000 years they had created a fleet of ships to leave their home system the world's harvested completely dry and samples of the life on each world preserved. So after parting ways with their home system the Creators sent out for a new home through the space travel they had at the time wasn't as fast from what they have today. It would take nearly 500 years for them to arrive and so my people went to cryo sleep to wait it out...

But something happened.

Something always happened.

They were awakened by the backlash of their home system star going nova almost 20,000 years than expected and they were not prepared for that! The blast destroyed many of the ships even light-years away from the system but those who got out of the blast were hit with some much solar radiation that it passed through the shielding of the ship and hit my makers. The high amounts of radiation killed off many of my makers and destroyed many of the ship's systems leaving most lifeless deathtraps with life support failing. Those who did survive had high levels of radiation poisoning that the medical equipment couldn't save them so they were all doom to die.

Quickly trying to find a way to survive from this my creators came up with plans to keep them alive but only one would work with the resources and what they had on hand. Nearly 87% were left so they developed a technology that would preserve them by removing their very minds from their dying bodies and into the computers of the ships they had left. Many of the personalities and minds merged into the 100, the creators my people know of today, with them now safe they decide to merge all the ships that they had left into one giant ship that would one day be the first 'Creator-class starship'.

"Oh, you must tell me of the types of starships you have!"

One minute twilight we have pretty big ships.

This collection was known as 'the mass' not yet what I would soon know it to be but it was just a massive collection of ships that made it to the system that they were heading to. Though they no longer need to go out into these worlds the 100 just did nothing but think for the next 5 short years before coming together and realizing that they could create a race of beings to enjoy these new worlds and the many after them. So they begin to get to work the Creators thought about their mistakes and thought what would be a proper race that could explore the void of space safety. They agreed that the race that would explore the stars must be part mechanical for-

"YOUR A CYBORG!"

No, I'm a protogen.

"But you said your creators said-"

Yes, I know what I'm said.

"Wait... your part machine?"

Nearly 70%.

"How... What... That's... But..."

As I was saying to keep the race for the future they begin to create beings who were both organic and mechanical.

Technology and biology as one.

Using undamaged DNA samples of the races of their world and these new worlds they used DNA of a Canine race as a template and used genetic altering technology to create what would be the prototypes and the cousin to the protogen and the synths known as the Primagens. After many of the first gene Primagens they were used to explore these new worlds and begin to rebuild what the Creators lost.

For nearly half a million years the Primagens and our creators worked through the galaxy exploring new worlds and creating what would be the government known as the Cyber-United.

"OHHHHHH what kinda government was the Cyber-United like?"

Hmmm good question...

The 100 were the leaders of us all but we did have a say in the many choices for us they never looked down on us.

I guess we were a republic... That is the best way I tell you we were a unique system that you don't have here.

"Interesting!"

Well, a few of the creators thought that they should create another race that would be just as effective as the Primagens so they began to work on the faithful gen one Protogens! Our Primagen cousin even helped with our creation and like them, we too had these *taps on visor* see our creators had visors to keep themselves from getting infected by any harmful virus due to their immune system being extremely damaged. Our creators had these permanently grafted onto the Primagens at birth and from then on it kinda became a part of our culture though, unlike the Primagens, Protogens can remove their visors without a problem.

"Why don't you?"

Simple our faces are kinda like something we would show to those we care about deeply and those we trust, kinda like a lover of sorts. As we were finally being completed something happened to the Primagens sadly... see they were going into the mark III stages while we were still in the mark I and there was a system glitch that made them extremely violent, aggressive, and unstable that they began to kill one another or harm themselves. Though our creators tried their best to save their first creations it was too late the entire Primagen line had been corrupted with this system glitch and it was to happen to all of them.

Those who still had a sense of sanity boarded three Ark class ships and they knew that they were going to go mad and go out but not without a bang! The primagens removed all safety protocols on the hyper-light system and because of this fired so fast through the void of space that whenever we explore that side of space we are still finding fragments of the three Arks that were most likely the fastest machine-made device ever known to our race. As we mourned the loss of the Primagens we began to expand the CU and began to encounter other races-

"WAIT THERE IS MORE!"

What did you think we were the only ones out there?

"Kinda,"

Well no there were so many of them but they were all smaller than the CU and usually, these races would fight among themselves but with the CU they stopped fighting and begin to help one another. The CU allowed them to keep being themselves but not fight one another though not many were happy about this and fought the CU itself but were quickly defeated with our superior technology. Though I don't really know much of what the CU does to the races that we have under our protection besides they make sure they follow some basic rules that Protogens and Synths have to follow.

"Like what?"

The races under our protection have a shorter list but we have a much longer list, over 2,000+ and I know all by heart.

"What now?"

I'm 70% machine do the math...

Well, remember when I said I was kinda breaking a rule?

"Yeah,"

Rule 32 is basically I'm not allowed to contact a race that is less advance unless something is dire...

"Like you crashing here without contact with the Cyber-united?"

Correct and along with that rule 33 is basically an add-on to rule 32.

"That being?

I am not allowed to share any information on the advancements of the CU.

"WHAT!?" Twilight shouted.

"I cannot tell you of the sciences the CU knows nor can I help you advance in any form of science or anything see if I were it would ruin your way of life and culture as you know it," Zero said as Twilight shook her head.

"No way would you have all that technology and not share it with us?"

"Because for one: I don't have any and two: it's against the rules! If I break this rule the lightest punishment I would receive is 50 years of cryo!" Zero said. "I would be breaking the law!"

"Not here!"

"Still I cannot tell you!"

"But think of the lives you can save!"

"I'm sorry I can't!"

"Sugar cube come on he's just following the rules of his people," Applejack said.

"Yeah he's sounds as loyal as me but I'm about 15% cooler at it," Rainbow boosted.

"It doesn't matter! He has technology so advance we could be put in a golden age of peace,"

"Or destroy yourselves," Zero said coldly.

"What?" The group turned to him.

"Someone had the same thought as you twilight see some of the those under the CU's protection decided it would benefit a race still in a dark age and some of them came down with the technology thinking it would help them. Little did they know that this race wouldn't just kill them for it but take it and weaponize the medical technology into a device that turned the lush green world into radiation filled rock with radiation storms and ruins of the race that once lived there,"

The group looked at him.

"Do you want that to happen to your world?"

"No... but we wouldn't do that we promise!" Twilight said.

"Sure you promise but what about the many other races that are on this world? What if one of them has the same idea as that planet? What if they decide to repeat history?"

"We'll stop them!"

"How? They would have destroyed the planet before then," Zero said. "I'm bound by the law... I'm sorry,"

"YOU CAN'T DO THIS!" Zero nodded.

"I have to..." Zero got up. "I'm sorry but I must go,"

Zero then began to leave as Twilight was about to do something but spike stopped her.

"Let him go Twilight," She was about to snap at him but the rest of her friends stepped in stopping her.

Twilight could only watch as Zero left the castle heading back for his pod.
