Not many ponies know that there is an area of equestria which has always been ruled by a king. This land known as Kings landing. It is a land that seems lost in time. This is the story of a stallion know has Shinning Sword, a fair and noble king. He was loved through out his kingdom, but not by everyone. You see Kings landing since it's founding over 2000 years ago has been ruled by a unicorn but with Shinning Sword being a earth pony, you can see how that may cause problems. Now let us began this story at night in the castle with Shinning standing on the balcony over looking the garden.

It was a chilly fall night, the air was crisp and snow was just beginning to fall. Shinning was looking up into the night sky watching the snow slowly drifting down, it made him think of his home up north, where he would spend his freetime running through the snow and playing with his brother. He sighed when his brother face enter his mind, it had almost been 10 years since he found dead in the woods. He was told it was a wild boar that killed him but Shinning had his doubts. He shook his head and looked down into the garden to see a young couple, a unicorn noble lady and a earth pony solders, shinning couldnt help but laugh at the site. He knew that it would never last, he sighed sadly, if only he could do something to help them.

Suddenly there was a loud thud that game from the great hall. Shinning look to the where the sound came from and slowly made his way through the castle to the great hall, but as he came to the balcony over looking the great hall he hid behind one of the pillars when he saw a huge mob of solders and town people. He watch them carefully. He notice that it was made up of solders from other holds and town people from some of the poorer holds. It seem the nobles were leading the attack, his attention was suddenly adverted to the sound of a scream, he look up as he watch one of his must thrusted knights, name Doraleous, being lead down the stairs. His face was bloody and so was a wound in his chest, they drop him at the hoofs of a noble unicorn named brighten star. Shinning could only watch as a brighten star, stuck his hoof into Doraleous open chest wound. He screamed loudly before brighten star raised his sword and brought it down quickly on Doraleous neck, killing him. Shinning gasp and started to slowly creep away to the west battlement tower.

Once he was sure he was out of ear range of them he broke off into a full sprint

Once he reach the edge of the great plains he stop to rest at a lone apple tree. He knew he need a place to go but staying in kings landing would surly mean his death. He sighed before sanding and decided he would walk to the wall and cross it. The wall was a Huge wall made of Ice that separated Kings landing from god knows what, As a colt he had been told that a great evil laid behind the wall and that they wanted to take over Kings landing and that the Nights Watch guarded it with there life, his great grandfather had been the last lord commander the wall had seen before the Nights watch died out. Shining Sword stood up and slowly began to walk toward the wall he knew it would take a fortnight before he reach it, that is if he kept moving.

18 days later

Shinning Sword finally came to the wall, the trip itself had been uneventful. As he walk closer he was amazed by it sure size and the battlements that stood next to her. He thought of the soldiers who had stood here waiting for the attack that never came. He couldnt help but sigh as he walk. He then came to a large gate that was open to his surprise, he notice a unlit torch on the wall next to it. He pulled out his flint and steel and lit it. The flame came to life, it's warmth reach out and touch Shining Sword face. He held the torch out and slowly walk into the dark tunnel, as he walk through the tunnel he notice some marking on the wall. They were everything from names to drawings. One was a drawing of a great battle and another was the drawing of a stallion holding a mare close with the words 'lots of love.' Shinning sighed and thought of his family who had been murder somewhere. He punch the wall "When I find out." but he cute himself off and knew that the same ponies who did it probably are the one who cause the riot meant to kill him. As he kept walking he soon notice a light at the end of the tunnel, he started running toward it, making sure not to slip on the ice, and when he finally burst out into the light he notice how light out it was and it was snowing. He took a moment to look at the huge ice wall behind him and then to green grass and it multi color leaves, He simply shrugs "Not the first strange thing I've seen and it surly wont be my last" He laugh and blew out the torch and began walking into the unknown.
