New Gods, Old Foes

    Princess Celestia landed in front of King Necroses, then approached him, fiery rage filled her eyes as she came face to face with the king of the dead.

“What do you think you are doing here, Necroses?” The Princess demanded, as she glared at the king, infuriated at the his presence in her kingdom.

Necroses chuckled before responding. “Ah Princess Celestia it has been far to long since  we last spoke, I was beginning to worry you might have forgotten about me.” The King said with an evil smile.

The princess gridded her teeth in anger.“You should have never come back here... You monster”. Celestia said, Her eyes narrowed to show her seriousness. She stomped her front right hoof in anger “Now answer my question”. The Princess demanded, as rage filled her voice.

Princess Luna, who was now the same size as Celestia, landed behind her sister and approached the two mighty alicorns slowly, confusion covering her face. “Sister, who is this pony?”. She asked very carefully, as to not anger her sister any further. She is so surprised at how enraged her sister is, she had never seen her sister so angry at a single pony before.

Necroses tilted his head to look behind Princess Celestia, so he may see the pony who asked the question. He got a huge smile when he saw that it was none other than Princess Luna. The king galloped past Celestia, almost as if she was not there, to reach the lovely Moon Princess. Celestia’s eyes went wide in surprise as the huge stallion passes by her like the wind.

The King knelt down upon reaching Luna as to get face to face with her,. “Oh Luna I see that you have finally returned.” Necroses said with joy, not noticing the ever growing confusion on Luna’s face. “Tell me is your night still as beautiful as it was back then?” He asked eagerly await a response from the Princess.

Luna looked at him in confusion and stated “Umm, we guess it is.... Excuse us, but have we met before?” She asked as she slightly stepped back, not sure of what was going on.

“Wait... You mean you don’t remember me?” Necroses asked, despair fell quickly onto his face.He lifted his body up and turned his head slightly as to look at Celestia. “So you used that spell on her, didn’t you?” he asked with an emotionless expression.

“How could i not?” Celestia said, looking away from the stallion, which whom she had called a monster “After what you did to us”. Gloom suddenly surrounded her, but rage still engulfed her face, as she finished her sentence.

Necroses stood up with his back still facing Celetia. “Oh really, so what did I do that was so bad exactly?” He asks, intentionally trying to anger the already enraged Princess. He turned his body around to face Celestia,his face seemed more serious now and waits for her to do the same.

Princess Celestia slowly turned around now facing King Necroses. She approaches the mighty king of the dead. She looked him in the eyes and slapped the King. The three generals readied themselves to attack the Princess, but Necroses held up a hoof, as a signal to yield. The generals withdrew their motion, and stood at attention.

Celestia stared at the black alicord. “You come to my kingdom... Uninvited, you frighten my subjects, and now you have the nerve to ask me a question like that.” She said, her body now shaking with rage. “Now tell me what you are doing here, before i send you and your three servants back to where you came from.” The white alicorn demanded, her voice echoed through out ponyville.

Necroses chuckled “Oh yes, I was so excited to see the fair Princess Luna again, that I almost forgot what we came here for”. He said with a goofy tone.

The King walked to the center of the town and put a hoof to his mouth and coughed, to clear his throat. He stood up straight and looked to the Princesses and all of ponyville.He placed his right hoof on his chest and proudly exclaims to all of ponyville. “To all of the ponies of Ponyville, And of course the fair princesses”. He winked at Princess Luna. The Princesses of the night blushed slightly at Necroses' statement. Celestia however gave him a spiteful glares.

“I King Necroses and My companions DJ, Hydra, and Siren have come to your humble kingdom. to present you with information, we have found on the Changelings”.

Celestia Charged at Necroses and slammed him into the wall of a nearby house, her horn was firmly pressed against his throat. “Don’t toy with me, demon”. The Princess said as she pressed her horn tighter against the skin of The King’s throat.

"You really should calm down Princess." Necroses said calmly, as if he was not even afraid of what the princess was planning to do.

Suddenly Celestia felt a blade against her throat. She turned her head slightly to the side and saw the black Pegasus, standing on her back, with a sword clenched in her mouth.

"Back away from the king Princess." Siren demanded, with a cold and emotionless voice.

Celestia removed her horn from the throat of Necroses, then backed away from him as instructed. Siren then removed the sword from Celestia's throat and jumped off the princess and landed next to the black unicorn, known as Hydra. Necroses brushed himself off, then walked up to Celestia, so that they could continue their conversation.

Once everypony calmed down Celestia asked The King, in the calmest voice she could how he got the supposed information. Necroses revealed , without a struggle that since he is the ruler of the dead he has to keep an eye on all of his future subjects, that includes the changelings. He stated that he was claiming an elderly changeling's soul, who had died of old age and over heard queen Chrysalis talking about an invasion on all of equestria.

Celestia sneered at The King's Intel and state, with a little pride "Sorry to disappoint you Necroses , but the Changelings already tried to attack us over eight months ago."

Necroses laughed at The Princess then told her "Well sorry to disappoint you Princess, but we received this information about a week ago."

"I DON'T BELIEVE YOU!!" The Princess yelled, in disbelief. " You only want to betray us, so you can accomplish some sick and twisted goal." She said, quite sure that her words were true.

Necroses pretended to weep, and put a hoof on his chest and head, just to be dramatic. He then said  very mockingly. "Oh Celestia I'm hurt that you would say such a thing about me... I mean I come all the way here just to help you, and you question my intentions, you know me better than that Tia." He concluded, as he placed both of his hooves firmly back on the ground.

Celestia growled at him and said "Do not call me that, you lost the privilege to address me as that a long time ago. I indeed know you better, and I wish i had never known you at all." She stated, holding back her anger the best she could.

"Well if you don't believe me... Then i guess I'll just have to show you."

"How do you plan on doing that?" Luna asked from behind her sister.

"I'm glad you asked my dear." Necroses said in a soft voice. "DJ!" he shouted to the red armored pony.

DJ stepped forward and nodded to his king. He turned his attention to the mayor, who was standing next to Pinkie Pie. He charged and her and pinned her down. The Stallion looked her in the eyes with his one red eye, which was glowing much brighter than before. He lifted his right foreleg, then slammed it down onto the mayor's head, crushing it beneath his hoof. Blood splattered everywhere and covered the main six, but there was something odd about this blood. It was lime green, and the mayor's body quickly converted into her natural changeling form.

Celestia could not believe her eyes. The fact that a changeling was in disguise right under her nose filled her with fear. She stared at the corpse of the former mayor for a short time before redirecting her gaze to Necroses.

The King returns the Princess's gaze and said, with a regal and serious voice."There are more of them you know."

Lord Necroses turned his head and nodded to Hydra, as if he were giving a signal. Hydra looks to his King and gives a nod back. The black unicorn then raised his horn, it then lit up with a green aura. He whipped his horn towards the ground and send out a wave of magic that turned every changeling in town into their natural forms.

The changelings were caught off guard, as the unicorn cased his spell. At that moment DJ and Siren leaped from their positions and attacked every changeling in sight. They viciously slaughtered their enemies with such speed and ferocity, they moved like lightning and struck with the strength of an Ursa Major. The changelings were all dead within a matter of seconds.

Blood splattered all over Ponyville as the two generals returned to their positions. The Changeling's heads and limbs littered the streets, everypony in Ponyville was covered in the green blood, all except for Hydra who had put a barrier up around himself right before his comrades attacked.

"well now that we have that out of the way." King Necroses said, while wiping the blood from his eyes. "IIIIITS... CLEANING TIME!!!." He yelled, while smiling from ear to ear.

The mighty alicorn's eyes lit up a bright green, as his eyes lit up a black vortex appeared in the sky. The blood and corpses were sucked into the vortex, it closed right after it absorbed all of the dead changelings. Necroses approached Celestia and offered that they continue the conversation at the castle. The Princess of the sun agreed, still shocked by what had just happened. Before the three alicorns took off for the castle Twilight Sparkle stopped them to try and ask Celestia a few questions.

"Celestia! whats going on?" Twilight said in a panicked voices

"Twilight my most faithful student, I must go to the castle now but i promise that afterwards I will answer all of your questions." Celestia said, trying to hurry.

Twilight looked away for a second then nodded to The Princess, to show she understood. after a quick hug the two parted ways and Twilight watched as the three flew away.

The three generals staid behind in ponyville to keep an eye out for anymore changelings. DJ's eye was now dark, it blended in with the black mist that covered his body. This was a good sign that there were no more changeling in the area, but they staid just to be safe.

When all of the commotion died down the generals were approached by the main six. Rainbow Dash was geeking out at how awesome their armors were, she liked Hydra's armor the most because of the dragon heads all over it. Fluttershy and Rarity were admiring the glowing orbs of light floating around Siren. Pinkie Pie was jumping around the three, cheerfully, as if what just happened didn't ever happen. Applejack and Twilight approached DJ and started asking him what was going on, but the black earth pony just stood there.

Twilight asked the red armored pony one more time, but still got no response. After a few attempts Hydra finally spoke up and told the two ponies that DJ was not the conversation type, and to not be offended if he did not say anything to them. They asked the stallion why his friend did not talk. He told them that if DJ did talk, there would be consequences. Twilight tilted her head in confusion, but she just ignored it and forgot about her question.

The three generals patrolled Ponyville in search of any remaining Changelings, as they did they were followed by the main six. They searched for two hours and found no trace of any changelings. After they finished their patrol they were going to join their king at the castle, but they were invited to Twilight's Library for lunch. They humbly accepted the mare's offer and made their way to the library. Once there they enjoyed tea and cookies, the only pony who did not enjoy them was DJ.

"OK first you don't answer me when i ask you a question, now you won't even touch the food that Pinkie Pie worked so hard to make. You are one rude pony." Twilight said, while poking DJ on the metal plate on his chest.

DJ's eye began to glow a scarlet red, as the purple pony poked his chest. The room was shaking as a growling noise came from the red armored pony. Twilight laid down on the floor and covered her head with her hoofs. She was shaking in fear at the one glowing eye of mighty pony standing before her. Hydra placed a hoof on DJ's shoulder attempting to calm down his comrade. DJ came to his senses and backed away from the quivering mare.

Twilight then stood up and hid behind Pinkie Pie. Pinkie Pie did not even notice the events that transpired, because she was to busy stuffing her face with muffins. Hydra slowly approached Twilight to reassure her that she was safe.

"Please forgive my friend, he does not like to be accused of things that are not true." The silver armored stallion stated to Twilight.

"Well he was being quite rude by not eating the food that Pinkie worked so hard to prepare" Rarity said in her snooty voice.

Hydra giggles a little "Believe me he does not mean to be rude... It's just that he can't really eat any kind of food." he said with a dumbfounded tone, while scratching his head.

"Wait a minute." Pinkie said, acting serious for once. "So he can't talk or eat?.. Whats next? He can't party?"

"He is a loyal general of the honorable king of the dead, he has no need for your asinine little parties." Siren said, standing up and staring Pinkie in the face.

The two exchanged looks for a good while, until Pinkie said "I like your spunk, lets be friend lady"

Siren just looked in confusion, as if she was caught off guard by Pinkie. She shook off her confusion then trotted over too Hydra, and she seemed to like standing very close to him.

Rarity looked at the black unicorn and stated that he had lovely jade eyes, almost as if they were the real green stone. He humbly thanked the white mare for her compliment. Siren looked are Rarity with anger and growled at her. Rarity made a squeaking sound before hiding behind Pinkie Pie, with Twilight. Hydra chuckled a little at the golden armored mare's reaction.

"Well as much as we would love to stay." Siren said sarcastically "But we really must me going." She then pulled the two Stallions out the door of the Library and slammed the door behind them.

"OK I'll fly Hydra to the castle, so DJ you will have to go on foot." Siren announced to her comrades.

DJ nodded, and began to rapidly gallop towards Canterlot.Siren then grabbed Hydra from around his waist and took off after DJ. The two ponies were silent for a long while, until they were far enough from DJ so that he could not hear them.

"So, why did you want to fly me to Canterlot? I could have galloped along side him and you would be able to fly much faster with out my wait." Hydra stated, trying to teasing Siren.

Siren looked away from him, then responded "You and I both know that you can not keep up with him even if you tried, This way we can all arrive on time with out having to slow down."

"I guess you are right my dear, besides this is quite the lovely experience for me."

"yes, plus this is a good way for us to be alone." The black Pegasus said, holding Hydra closer to her, and trying to hide her blushing face.

Hydra chuckled then said. "So your a secret romantic huh?"

Siren pretended to drop him, but quickly returned her grip around him. "Don't think that just because you are cute, means that I won't hesitate to drop you on your head... Sweet heart." She said sarcastically

"I shall remember that my dear." Hydra said, with a stupid smile. He knew she wouldn't drop him, but He knew how she was so he was not going to take anymore chances.

They flew for a while before reaching Canterlot, Hydra and Siren landed near the entrance gate of the city and looked around for DJ. Suddenly there was a loud boom that echoed through the city had came from nearby. The two generals galloped towards the noise to see what was  going on, but they already knew what it was. As they approached the area where the noise had come from they saw a gaping hole in the wall, that confirmed their fears.

The smoke from the explosion was clearing and a dark figure with a single red light glowing bright on his face could be seen in the center of the rubble. The figure walked forward out of the smoke making his presence know to all those around him. It was the one and only DJ, who had galloped up the side of the mountain and blown a hole in the wall surrounding the city.

Hydra approached his comrade. "(sigh) geez DJ I know you don't like having obstacles in your way, but did you have to blow a hole in the wall?" Hydra asked.

DJ approached Hydra, he said nothing. Ashes shot out of the black earth pony's nostrils as he walked passed his fellow generals of the dead. Hydra put a hoof to his head and just followed DJ to the castle. On their way to the castle all of the ponies in the city avoided them after DJ broke the wall, even the guards were avoiding them. Once they reached the castle they were escorted to the throne room, where they met up with their king.

"Ah you are finally here my loyal companions." Necroses said, with a stupid smile on his face.

The King was standing at the foot steps of the throne, Luna stood right next to him. Celestia was sitting on her throne, with a worried look. The three generals approached their king and bowed to him.

Princess Celestia was looking towards the ground, not even noticing the three had entered the room. She seemed stuck in a daze, as if she were in here own little world.

"There are no longer any Changelings in Ponyville lord Necros" Hydra said to the king.

"Good work my friends. Now i need you to go an exterminate any and all Changelings in Canterlot, Don't leave any..."

ZOOOM! Necroses was interrupted by the sound of DJ dashing out of the palace, to kill to the Changelings.

Necroses chuckles and said "I guess he is excited to get started. How about you two go make sure he doesn't get into to much trouble."

The two generals saluted their king and galloped after DJ. Necroses looked to Luna and Celestia, so that they may continue their discussion.

"So what shall we do King Necroses." Luna asked in a concerned voice.

"Well before we do anything else I need to pay a visit to an old friend." Necroses said while looking out a nearby window. "I believe he still dwells with in the Canterlot sculpture garden, Correct?" He asked with an evil smile.

At that moment Celestia and Luna both knew who he was referring to. The sisters looked to each, with worried looks. They turned their gaze to Necroses, who was pleased to see their worried faces.

"I can tell by your expressions that you know who I speak of." The king said, with an evil expression. "Alright lets go say hello to my old chum... Discord!"
