They shall be my finest warriors, these men who give themselves to me. Like clay, I shall mould them and in the furnace of war forge them. They will be of iron will and steely muscle. "How many times does it take before you'll learn Sombra?" Shining said hold his claymore in his hand. "That every time you try to bring us down, you'll never win!"

Running with his sword raised at Sombra who smile as Shining Armor the prince of the crystal empire brought down his blade. Sombra blocked it with just one finger. Shining went wide-eyed before Sombra brought up his hands to Shining's face and with a flick sent Shining hurling across the room and smashing into a black crystal pillar.

"You see boy I have learned from my mistakes. It took me five years to see what I've been missing, that is why I cannot lose anymore! I have the crystal heart, your wife's power, and soon your daughter will be here, then I can take her power as well." Sombra said as he floated into the air. "You think I'm powerful now wait till I gain the power of a pure-blood alicorn! I shall be a GOD!"

The father of Flurry heart spat blood from his mouth as he rose up whipping his purple and gold armored gauntlet across his mouth staining his pure white coat. Shining brought his claymore back as he took off his broken helmet and threw it aside as he panted before speaking.

"That'll never happen."

Sombra laughed.

"You don't see it do you?" Sombra held out his hand as Shining froze as he was stretched out causing him to drop his blade as he was lifted by the dark king. "I've already won, this palace will be your tomb,"

Shining's blade was lifted from the ground behind the king's shoulder aimed straight towards Shining's heart.

"Give the storm king my regards when you see him in hell," Laughed the dark king.

Before he could throw the blade forward, what sounded like a cannon firing echoed through the throne room as an explosion hit Sombra's shoulder covering him in flames. This caused the sword and Shining to fall to the ground free from the dark king's grasp as Sombra held his shoulder and turned to the door to the throne room.

"WHO DARES DISRUPTS MY REVENGE!" Sombra shouted as the thud of metal footsteps entered the room. Shining gasped for air as he noticed a pair of green armored legs next to him, he looked up to see a large being standing next to him staring at Sombra.

"Pick up your weapon warrior your duty isn't done." The green armor giant told Shining. With shaking legs, he rose up taking ahold of his blade.

"Who are you?" Shining asked.

"The ally you need right now," The muffled voice of the being spoke through the covered grill of the helmet.

"Good enough for me," Shining said as the being aimed his weapon as Sombra hurled clusters of black crystal at them but the weapon fired shattering each one before they could hit.

Allowing Shining his chance, he charged Sombra. In response Sombra raised a wall in his path, chuckling before the green armored stranger ran through the wall. Shining then followed suit with his blade going for Sombra as he attacked with the claymore, with enough speed to make the great blade seem like it weighed nothing at all. Sombra blocked every blow from Shining's blade with his metal-covered arms before he was hit in the back by the strange weapon that the giant held.

Throwing his hand with a wave of magic the being's weapon was thrown from his hand. In response, the being reached for his side and pulled out a smaller weapon. Unlike the larger one, a cone of fire came forth at Sombra. Sombra held a shield around him but the heat from the flames were so great that Sombra's skin began to cook under his metal armor. As the flames vanished Sombra lowered his shield to watch the being come at him with a large hammer in his right-hand swinging it at his face.

The black tar-like blood that went through Sombra's veins exited the dark king's mouth along with a couple of his fanged teeth. Having been thrown across the room Sombra held his chin as he scoffed knowing that blow would have killed any lesser pony. Adjusting it his fangs grew back as black shards, a now very annoyed Sombra snarled as Shining and the giant stood united against him.

"We need to work together." The being said as Shining nodded. "Let us wait before-"

"WE TAKE HIM NOW!" Roared Shining as he charged the dark king.

"NO, WAIT!" Before the giant could pull Shining back, he was out of his grasp his hand brushing Shining's mane.

"ITS TIME WE FINISH THIS SOMBRA!" Shining raised his blade as Sombra smiled.

"I couldn't agree more." Sombra placed his hand on the ground, and the giant along with Cadance, who was held in black in the wall, watched sharp black crystals shoot from the ground toward Shining, impaling him.

Cadence cried through her muffled crystal-covered mouth as Shining's eyes rolled into the back of his head as he dropped his blade before going completely limp. Sombra smiled as he rose, passing by the impaled prince before turning toward the giant who charged Sombra. He retaliated by summoning and throwing a crystal javelin, but upon hitting the black crest on the giant's chest it shattered. This surprised Sombra that his weapon didn't pierce the giant's armor causing him to summon a magic shield around his body once again as the being hit the shield with his hammer.

Sombra then fired a force spell that sent the being sliding across the room gouging the crystal floor from his feet being dragged across it. He then went forward raising his hammer once again, but this time Sombra fired another spell as it hit the giant's body. He was slowed down by the dark crystals that began to form over his body like a fungus, before causing him to freeze in place with his hammer inches away from the dark king's face. Being frozen in dark crystal the being's red eyes darkened leaving him in a stasis-like state making Sombra smile.

"You'll make quite the trophy for my collection golem" Sombra said as he tapped on the crystal prison. "You're an interesting one, to say the least, no armor should be able to withstand my power but your's did, that might be a problem,"
Sombra then circled the giant as he didn't notice a figure in the dark pick up the massive weapon that the giant had as the shadowy form gently picked it up and took aim.

"Perhaps I shall only keep your weapon as a trophy and send you the same dark pit I was banished to so many times" Sombra said as he held his hand forward, a dark purple aura surrounded it, pointing his hand forward he smiled. "Goodbye, golem enjoy the rest of eternity in darkness!"

*Click*

*BOOM*

Sombra turned his head as the giant's weapon was fired hitting Sombra causing him to lose focus as he turned to look around.

"WHO DID THAT!?"

Whirling around he turned to see another strange armored being with the giant's weapon in their hands.
"I did," Sombra’s face was hit with around to the face causing him to fall to the ground screaming as fire engulfed his face. "Whoa, this thing has one helluva kick!"

The stranger placed it on their back before pulling out a hammer seemly from nowhere.

"I hope this works," Bringing the hammer down on the black crystal as a chuck of the shadow crystal was broken off freeing giant's head. "You alright big guy?"

The giant looked to his savor finding a familiar face before noticing Sombra.

"Behind you!" The giant said as the being dodged the attack and hit the giant's casing spinning him from the attack causing Sombra to roar.

"HOW MANY OF YOU WORMS HAVE TO GET IN MY WAY! FIRST THOSE BRATS AND NOW A GOLEM AND A CAT!?!" Sombra screamed as the being used the giant's crystal-covered body as cover.

"Hey, I'm not a cat I'm a-"

"I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU ARE BUT YOU’RE GOING TO SUFFER FOR THIS CAT!" Sombra shouted, as the being huffed.
"What's this guy's problem?" The female asked the giant as he 'shrugged'. "Here let me get you out of that thing,"
Holding her hammer back she smashed the crystal again causing cracks to form weakening the crystal casing, allowing the green being to break free with his own hammer.

"Whoa... nice hammer," she said with a smile.

"Many thanks for the assist felinid," The being said upon hitting his hammer against the crystal as she sighed.

"I'm not a ca- wait what's a felinid?" Pulling himself out as Sombra hurled spells at the back of the remaining crystal husk.
"My apologies I assumed you were an adhuman known as a felinid, I've never met one before but heard about them" the giant told her as he turned to Sombra. "Let us finish this first."

"Beat one mad tyrant before this one, can't be as bad though... I'm missing all my gear so this will be interesting" The female told the giant as the crystal husk withstood the attacks from Sombra, giving the female an idea. "Hey, big guy how strong are you?"

The giant looked down at her.

...

"WHEN I'M DONE WITH YOU, I'LL HAVE YOUR FUR AS MY RUG!" Sombra shouted throwing another shadow ball at the crystal husk.

"Yoo-hoo sideburns" Sombra whipped his head to the other side of the room where the female was as waving her hand.
Sombra snarled as he readied another spell, ready to whip off the smug grin on the female's face. She then pointed behind him, as he turned his head seeing the crystal husk hurtling toward him.

"Aw shi-"

*PING*

Sombra's crowned helmet went sliding across the floor before the female placed her boot on it as Sombra's black tar-like blood began to pool onto the floor from being pancaked by the Husk. Smiling the female dusted off her hands as the being walked towards the remains of Sombra, the female spoke.

"Gotta say I now beat TWO complete madmen" She spoke as the giant felt her tap on his chest plate with her fist. "Come on big guy lighten up we won."

The two watched as the black crystals faded away into dust as Shining's body fell to the floor.

"With a price," The giant said as he went over to Shining's body. The female heard coughing and turned to see Cadance in a weakened state with the crystal heart next to her as its light slowly faded in and out. "Help her outside she needs medical aid"

"Got it"

Rushing to the side of Cadance, the female helped her to her feet. Cadance looked up to see herself being helped through the throne room and moved outside. Outside her people upon seeing her cheered as the day was saved but they stopped cheering as the giant came outside and in his arms the remains of Shining armor. Placing the body of the prince down on a fallen crystal pillar Cadance began to cry seeing her other half lifeless, she went to his side. The female tried to stop her but was pulled aside by the giant.

"Let her grieve" The giant said as Lamplight came forth with his guard but stopped upon seeing the body. Flurry came forth, the guards tried to stop her as she demanded to see what was happening before pushing through.

The child froze seeing her dad not moving, her eyes began to tear up.

The female and the giant watched as the ponies of the crystal empire cried for the loss of the prince, feeling like they didn't belong. After nearly thirty minutes of the depressing scene, the two watched as Shining's body was carried off with the widow and her child. Sighing the giant then sat down on the steps as the female sat down next to him with her head in her hands.

"I hear you, big guy. Man, I was hoping for some answers when all this was over" she said as the being turned to her.
"As did I but it seems we will have to wait" The being said as the female dropped her arms before reaching behind her back and lifting the heavy weapon as if it was a toy.

"Here I think this is yours" she told him as he turned to her before nodding.

"Thank you, friend" Taking the massive weapon he then turned back to her. "You know not many like yourself can fire a bolter without harming their body,"

The female smiled.

"Eh, I've had guns with bigger kicks than that though it was oddly satisfying to fire that 'bolter' of yours." She said before speaking up. "I got to ask what, are you any way? I've never seen anything like you in my dimension."

This seemly confused the giant.

"Dimension?" He asked.

"Yeah... you know the whole multiverse theory and everything I mean when bolts and I were messing around with the-"

"Halt!" Confused the two looked up as ponies in non-crystal armor came forward in gold armor.

"What the-?" The female said as the guards pointed their spears at the two. "Hey, what's the big idea?"

"You two are coming with us! You two are responsible for Prince shining armor's death!" This surprised the female.

"What? No! We didn't kill him, that Sombra guy did!" The female said with the giant standing next to her.

"Save it for the Queen, surrender your weapons!" The guards said. The female was about to pull out her hammer but was stopped by the giant.

"Enough, too much blood has already been spilled" he said as she looked up at him. "Trust me."

With a sigh, she dropped her hammer as the giant dropped his own before pulling out his knife from his left arm and throwing it down.

"Hands where we can see them" The guard demanded.

As the two raised their heads the female was grabbed by her arms and cuffed. The giant lowered his arms to allow the guards to cuff him as well.

"Take them to the jailhouse the palace is in need of repairs,"

*Cell door closing*

"Well not the first time I've been in a cell but this one doesn't have a forcefield" The female said as she held the metal bar cell door.

"It's only temporary my friend" The giant said as he was forced to remove his arm leaving him in a black nerve suit as his scales were shown off as the female turned to him. "Though I do feel naked without my wargear"

The female turned to him as she turned from the cell.

"Glad they didn't take my arm" she said as she held her arm close.

"That is a fine piece of technology you have" The dragon said as he went to sit down on her cell bed.

"Like it? Made it myself" she said with a proud smile.

"Heh, you would have made a fine adapt of mars" The dragon told her as she lowered her arm.

"So... how did you end up here?"

"Don't know that myself, I was on the battlefield with my brothers and then a pillar of fire engulfed me the next thing I know I'm here" He told her as she blinked. "How did you end up here?"

She then smiled as she rubbed the back of her head.

"Well, you see me and a friend of mine where messing with this project we had I might have crossed a wire, and BOOM I'm here!"

"Interesting" He then looked at her. "I am Hunter Konn of Nocturne, and you are?"

He held out his hand to her as she smiled and took it.

"I've Rivet and I'm a Lombax, not a cat" She said shaking his hand.

"Well, then Rivet tell me did you also make that hammer of yours?" Hunter asked to which Rivet went wide-eyed.

"Wait, are we talking shop?" The white-furred Lombax asked.

"Might as well pass the time and besides, we might learn from one another" Hunter told her. "I did make all that wargear I was using."

Rivet's jaw dropped.

"You did?" He nodded. "That's awesome!"

The dragon nodded.
"Well, I was pretty little when I made my hammer and over time. I improved on it getting it upgrades and adding on to it and over the years I just kept it around" Rivet said with a smile.

Hunter smiled.

"That sounded like me when I picked to become a salamander it was my first trial to forge a weapon of my choosing for my journey into becoming a son of Vulkan and even after becoming a salamander I too improved on my warhammer" Hunter spoke.

"I have so many questions about your home Dimension."

"And I yours."

"Guess I'll start" Rivet said as she began.

Author's Note

So... yeah kinda hinted at a certain Lombax being in the story in the last chapter if you all didn't notice so don't get mad at me. Come on lads you know I like adding in a furry character from another series into a story heck I even hinted at how fast the internet was! There are memes of how so many rule 34 artists ran at her before we even learned of Rivet's name!

She had a screen time of 3 seconds and yet here are the people going crazy over her! Look I'm not usually a ratchet and clank guy since the only one I played was deadlocked back on the PS2 that my cousin let me play.

(though is it just me or does the deadlocked armor look like a Mandalorian?)
(Also hammer time!)

Well, I'm surprised how in the zone I was today for this story, guess I'll see you guys tomorrow for the trial chapter. Also, this is very important when two aliens just show up out of nowhere and there is a dead leader one would be very worried about what two aliens could do. It was logical that the two were imprisoned for safety reasons not because they aren't ponies and everything the ponies are just being careful.

Though ponies will be ever so xenophobic so we'll see what happens later on.
