(two week later)

"So let me get this straight. This Horus guy killed this other guy who was an angel who other were the son of the emperor of your Dimension who isn't a psychopathic robot that is hellbent on ruling over the galaxy with an iron fist. Along with the fact that after this Horus heresy thing the emperor and all the primach's including your dad who at the same time isn't your dad disappear or die off. This left the 'Imperium of man' in 10,000 years of where anything new that isn't old is bad but when your uncle who isn't your uncle at the same time of the Ultramarines who are your cousin but aren't your cousins come in after being revived by some space elf with magic. Then he meets and talks with this cawl guy and approves of a new type of space marine called a primaris marine like what you are now along with a whole bunch of new technology that is helping the Imperium,"

Rivet began.

"But now even with your uncle back the galaxy is under chaos -not the messed up daemon kind- because when the emperor was placed on the golden throne. Which is keeping him alive even now a living skeleton and now that their is this 'Inquistion' who are now saying the emperor is a god which is the opposite that what the emperor wanted because he didn't want religion in the first place. Those who follow what the emperor wanted by saying he's not a god to a member of the Inquisition will be tortured before 'confessing' that he was a heretic and then being burnt alive or turning to a cybernetic slave."

"Am I missing anything?" Rivet asked.

"Well no not really," Hunter said on his bed as Rivet bounced a ball against the wall on his side before it came back to her hand. "That's all of it in what you called a 'nutshell',"

"That's kind hard to believe... then again Clank was telling the truth when I first meet him and didn't believed him before I poked around in his brain," Rivet said as she threw the ball again. "Though these Mars guys wouldn't like Kit or Clank would thing? Because of the abominable intelligence thing,"

"Yep,"

"Man, they would have a hay day in my dimension when Nefarious still around," Rivet stated.

"Most likely,"

"Something wrong Hunter?" She asked catching the ball again.

"No its just... I wouldn't say this to my brothers especially my Chaplin but I know that the Emperor isn't a god but a powerful being and all though... what if I'm being tested by the emperor or my father," Hunter looked at his hands. "Like when my geneseed mutated me into this. I look like a dragon from those old stories I used to read about,"

"Hey come on big guy there is a reason why things are the way they are. My arm?" Rivet shook her robotic limb. "I didn't ask for Kit to blast it off but it happened at least your mutation is pretty cool... but I got to ask do you breath fire?"

Hunter looked towards her with his red eyes before to the ceiling.

"No... but I can spit acid,"

"Wait what?" He then tapped where the butcher's glad was. "Right those recycled organs you have... that's kind gross you know,"

Hunter turned to her.

"Be glad your saying that to me unlike any other Astartes who would smack you in the face for saying that," Hunter warned.

"What I'm just stating the facts," She then threw the ball which Hunter caught before it hit the wall.

"And I'm just stating the facts as well," He then threw it back towards her as she caught it with her robot hand.

"Heh you have a dry sense of humor for a super soldier," She then threw the ball as the only sound was the ball hitting the wall and floor before returning to Rivet's hand.

Hunter closed his eyes as he was still adapting to this new body with the memories it had as well that began to override the old memories at least his personality was altered slightly. Though Rivet was different to say the least, well besides the fact she was taller than her video game counter part and was... uh... more 'bigger' in some places well unlike being completely flat in the game she had to be at least a medium now. Honestly he didn't know how cup sizes worked because he wasn't a pervert unlike a certain character from a stupid show about horny highschool girls, harems, and devils.

'Can't believe I watched that show,'

Opening his eyes as he heard footsteps coming to the cell, it wasn't lunch time so Hunter grabbed the ball as he got up placing a finger to his lips before pointing to the cell door. Rivet nodded as she placed her arm on her knee as she caught the ball from Hunter and placed back on her belt pouch, the two then turned to see a whole squad of friendship guards at the door.

As the warden unlocked the cell he then waved to them.

"Come on you two its time," Hunter turned to the warden.

"Time for what?"

"Your trial,"

(Courthouse)

"I got a bad feeling about this Hunter," Rivet said as they entered the courtroom where citizens of the crystal empire sat as Hunter was surprised to see it was very much like the American court system back home.

Though the Jury wasn't of their peers.

The two were moved with their hand's cuffed to the right side of the room as a pony sat on the opposing side as the two sat down. Turning behind him Hunter noticed the familiar faces of the elements, the two ex-princesses, spike, starlight, sunburst, Flurry Heart, Night Light, Twilight Velvet, and Cadance who was red-eyed most likely from crying and not sleeping. As the group sat the doors opened as from what Hunter assumed was their lawyer as he sat down with a coffee in hand upon sitting down.

"Sorry I'm late they wouldn't allow me to talk with you two which is so against your rights as guests in the crystal empire," He then sat down. "I'm Lock Knock,"

Rivet gave a 'pfft' as Hunter lightly jabbed her with his arm.

"Yes I know its funny but to be serious here I don't know why were even having this trial you two saved princess Cadance and stopped Sombra," Lock said.

"What are we charged with?" Hunter asked.

"Well your-"

The head guard then spoke.

"All rise for Judge Hour," He said as all did while a navy blue pony in a Judge dress came from behind the court room to his seat at the Judge's seat.

"You may be seated," Judge Hour said as all did as he picked up a file and put on his glasses. "Case 117 the empire vs Mr. Hunter Konn and Ms. Rivet charged with the murder of Prince shining armor in the first degree,"

"Bullshit," Rivet whispered slightly surprising Hunter slightly still not used to a Lombax cursing.

"Does the accuser have an opening agreement?" Hour asked.

"I do your honor and allow me to say this for like many citizens of the Crystal empire I'm greatly sadden to learn of the death of Prince and I'm happy the people chose me a chance to have these... monsters dealt with," The pony said as he then spoke. "For on the day of Tuesday the 12 on the month of May at 2:23 pm was the scene where over 74 witness saw Mr. Konn exiting the place after 'defeating king Sombra' upon which he laid the body down on a fallen Crystal pillar which after 32 minutes of sorrow Mr. Armor's body was taken by the people to the morgue,"

The pony then grabbed a folder.

"Now the strong amount of evidence show's that Mr. Konn's armor was covered in the blood of prince shining armor as seen in these photos," He then held out the folder to Judge Hour who opened the folder with his glasses on his face, then looking upon the photos he then nodded.

"Was a weapon ever found?" Hour asked.

"No your honor but their was chemical traces of shadow crystal found over the 48 wounds though out the body and Mr. Konn's armor was covered in the same type of shadow crystal trace," The pony said.

"And I believe you have those results as well?" The judge question.

"They are also in the folder,"

Looking at the folder again seeing the data sheets the judge nodded.

"Is that all?" Hour asked.

"Yes your honor," The pony said.

"Thank you Mr. Sliver rush," Judge hour then turned to Lock Knock. "Does the defense have a opening statement?"

"I do your honor," Lock said getting up. "Not only do I have evidence that Mr. Konn and Ms. Rivet are not able to use dark magic along with the fact they willingly went into custody but I like to call an eye witness to the stand who watched the entire event,"

"Call upon your witness,"

"I call upon Princess Cadance," Lock said as Sliver rush got up.

"Objection,"

"On what grounds?" Hour asked.

"Not being a relatable eye witness as the witness is currently suffering from PTSD," Sliver rush explained.

Judge hour held his chin before speaking.

"I'll allow it but only if the witness wishes to come forth," Hour said as Lock turned to Cadance who rose.

(Law in order sound effect)

Cadance was now on the stand as she sworn in with her head down.

"Princess can you explain to the court what had happened of the morning on 12 of May before Sombra's attack?" Lock asked in a soft voice.

"It was like any other day when I had to wake up Flurry Heart and get her ready for the day. She wanted to go see the crystal museum's latest section with the mask of the golden sand that daring doo donated to the museum nearly two months ago. So I had the guards take her since she wanted to go but she wanted me to go with her so I promised her that I would go with her to see it on Saturday. I then had breakfast and meet with shining who woke up early to settle with the crystal court and when I came in he was finishing up a case with corn harvest. We kissed before I sat down and got to work for the next few hours,"

"Then what your highness?" Lock asked.

"Well the moment we took a break to eat Sombra appeared... coming right out of the ground but unlike last time he had these horrifying monsters that driving the guards and everypony else out leaving Shining and myself to face Sombra. Before I could move he fired a spell at me pinning me in that shadow crystal shell covering most my body only leaving my eyes and most of my snout open for me to watch. For the next 30 minutes I watched Sombra toy with Shining as he had taken my power and the crystal heart's making him nearly unbeatable," Cadance told the court. "Then Hunter came in after Sombra was going to stab Shining with his own sword, the dragon fired his weapon hitting Sombra and making him lose focus to which Sombra roared in anger and Hunter went to Shining side and assisted him in the fight,"

The court listened as she kept speaking.

"Hunter's weapon was knocked out of his hands at one point so he switched to another one that began to spew fire from it at Sombra before going to his Warhammer and knocking Sombra in the jaw with it sending that monster across the room. Then..."

"Then what princess?" Lock asked.

"Hunter warned Shining but he was already rushing at Sombra with his blade before he could stop him... that was when Sombra he... he..." Cadance tried to hold back the tears as she rubbed her eyes.

"What did he do princess?"

"He summoned his shadow crystal to stab from almost every angel... I watched Shining's head slump forward that was when I knew he was dead," Cadance said in a claim voice.

"That all I need princess," Lock said as he went to sit down as Sliver rush got up placing his hand on the Jury stand.

"No questions your honor... but I would like to call a pony to the stand," He said.

"Who is it?"

"Queen twilight sparkle,"

(Cue)

"Twilight has seen better days," Hunter whispered.

"She doesn't look like she's slept or eaten in days," Rivet whispered back.

"Shining armor was her brother," Lock whispered to the two over hearing what they had said.

"What?!" Hunter and Rivet shout/whispered

"Queen Twilight I have read from the reports that you maybe during your first encounter with Sombra and I have a question," Sliver asked.

"What about it?"

"Well if I understand correction Sombra loved to cast illusion spells alters one view of events this is true correct?" Sliver rush asked to which Twilight nodded.

"Yes my assistant Spike and I encountered a door that had a fear spell on it that Sombra had left as a trap," Twilight told Sliver.

"So wouldn't be out of question that Sombra would have casted a spell on Cadance?" Sliver asked. "I mean their was no body of Sombra found at the scene of the crime only some blood, his helmet, and traces of shadow crystals. Would it be possible for Sombra I don't know fake his death and have it as to where two of his agents could be around the crystal empire freely after seemly 'avenging' Shining armor?"

"I mean... it's not outside the realm of possibility," Twilight stated.

"No more questions your highness," Sliver said with a bow as Lock came up.

"I have no questions for the stand, your honor,"

"Forepony what do you say does the Jury heard enough?" Judge Hour asked.

"We have your honor would like about the findings,"

"Very well a 20 minute break is set," Judge Hour said bring his gavel down.

(Cue)

"What the hell? You have no proof of Cadance having being put under a spell," Lock said as Sliver smiled.

"We'll we can't know for sure since its been a week since the attack," Sliver rush said as Lock held his head.

"These two saved the lives of Princess Cadance and Flurry's heart!"

"Up! Up! Up! Only Hunter saved Flurry Heart. Ms. Rivet on the other hand was nowhere to be seen," Sliver rush smirked.

"Because she was confused about what was going on!"

"AHAHAHA your going to believe that multiverse crap those two had stated?" Sliver rush laughed.

"Good Faust! They have technology and equipment that has never been seen before along with that their has been no known race in the history of the planet that has ever seen a feline and dragon-like those two!" Lock stated.

"Mr. Knock please claim down," Hour told Lock.

"Look we don't know what these two are or where their alliance lies so we have to be careful,"

"They saved the princess!" Lock threw out.

"That they did seemly but you don't need to convince me but the Jury honestly I don't know if I shoulder stand with either of you," Hour told Lock. "Though Mr. Rush you need to consider that Mr. Konn did save little Flurry heart from Sombra's forces,"

"See even he agrees with me on that part,"

"Pfft, why do you care? One's a dragon who are known to be greedy and deadly creatures and the other one is a cat who is just as bad for the fact they are selfish and would betray you for a can of tuna,"

Lock held his head.

"She's a Lombax!"

"What the buck is a Lombax?!"

"That's what Rivet is! A Lombax!"

"Look if it looks like a cat, smells like a cat, and acts like a cat what is it?" Sliver rush pointed out. "Guess what? IT'S A CAT!"

"That's enough both of you breaks over,"

(Cue)

"Forepony has the Jury reach a verdict?" Judge Hour asked.

"We have your Honor and after much debate we find the defense..."

Lock, Rivet, and Hunter held they're breathe as the Jury spoke.

Sliver rush smiled as he looked at the Jury.

"Not guilty,"

The three exhaled as Rivet leaned back in her chair as Judge Hour smiled, with the court room cheering the heroes who saved the princess finally getting their chance now.

"With the Jury's verdict now in place I hear by close this case," He then brought it down as Sliver rush growled and threw his paper work across the court room as he held his glasses in his other hand. "Ms. Rivet and Mr. Konn will have their belongs returned to them as soon as possible,"

Rivet got up and hugged Lock for helping them as the dragon shook the Pony's hand as Rivet smiled up at Hunter.

"You were right," Rivet said as she held out her fist. "Sorry I doubted you,"

Hunter smiled back as he gave her a fist bump.

"NO!" The court room went silent as Twilight's mane was on fire from her rage. "I DEMAND A RETRIAL RIGHT NOW!"

"Excuss me Queen Twilight?"

"MY BROTHER IS DEAD! NIECE IS GOING TO HAVE TO GROW UP WITHOUT A FATHER BECAUSE THOSE TWO HAD A HAND IN HIS DEATH! AND AS QUEEN I DEMAND A RETRIAL!" Her flames roared as the two ex-princesses look at Twilight in horror.

"Order! Order!" Judge Hour brought down his gavel down three times. "Queen Twilight this is the crystal empire you have no authority here and I ask the guard to please remove Queen twilight at once from the courtroom,"

"No, let go of me! LET GO OF ME! THOSE TWO ARE WORKING WITH SOMBRA! THEY KILLED M-" The door to the room was shut as the two freed aliens turned to one another confused.

(Jailhouse)

"Let's see here... Ms. Rivet you have one hammer, one belt, one orange-red bandana, and a pair of goggles. This is everything correct?" The guard asked holding a clipboard.

Rivet smiled.

"Yep that's all of it," Rivet said as she put on her belt.

"As for you Mr. Konn," He pulled another clip board. "Oh boy... This way please,"

Going to the side as a few officers lifted one side to a two-wheeled crate as they dropped it down out of breath.

"Goodness me this is a long one... One set of green armor, One large backpack unopened, One hand held cannon, One fire-throwing mini cannon, One belt with many unknown items, One short sword, One Warhammer, One pelt of an unknown reptilian creature, One strange can devise, Five boxes filled with brass casings, One box empty, Three small tanks with unknown fuel, One set of blacksmith tools, One large pair of fire tongs, One amulet of a two-headed golden eagle, One amulet of a hammer and anvil on one side and a drake icon on the other side, *Takes a breath* And finally Seven red candles," Holding his chest to breathe. "Is this all?"

Opening one of the crates with a nod.

"This is it,"

"Good goddess this might be a record," The guard said walking to the back.

Picking up his helmet he smiled before placing it back in the case as he lifted it with ease.

"Give me a moment," He then went to the bathroom...

A few moments later while Rivet was leaning against the wall next to the bathroom door she watched as Hunter ducked under the small frame into the lobby.

"You ready?" Rivet asked.

"Of course one more moment," Hunter went over to knock on the counter as the guard almost jumped from seeing hunter.

"Faust! Don't scare me like that," The officer said.

"Sorry... but the crate is in the bathroom," He told him as he nodded.

"Thanks,"

"Have a good day officer," Hunter nodded as the officer waved goodbye as the two left.

(Outside)

The press swarmed outside the jailhouse as they exited.

"Mr. Konn! Ms. Rivet! Manehatten times! Do you have time for an interview," A reporter asked as he held a notepad before being pushed aside by another of the press.

"Ms. Rivet! Do you have time to comment on the queen's outburst?"

"No comment," Rivet stated as the two began to go down the street.

"Mr. Konn! Is it true that you apart of Princess Ember's army," A reporter asked the giant.

"Who?"

"Mr. Konn! What are your thoughts of you and Ms. Rivet been banned from Equestria?" This caused the two to stop and turned around.

"What to the what now?" Rivet asked.

"Queen Twilight has banned you from enter Equestria territory," The two then looked at one another before to the reporter.

"When did this happen?" Hunter asked.

"Right after the trial. The Ex-princesses are having a call back of power because of Queen Twilight's current state of mind," The report told them. "Did you know? It was over the radio"

"Not really were just getting our stuff back from the jailhouse we haven't really had time to listen to the radio," Rivet pointed out.

The turn turned to leave as a reporter then ran up to them.

"One last question: Are you two a couple?" Rivet and Hunter froze up as Rivet's white-furred face began to redden, as Hunter held back his laughter.

"What's so funny?" Rivet asked as she turned to Hunter who held a hand to his faceplate.

"Nothing,"

"Do you see me as a joke you jerk!" Rivet then punched Hunter in the arm.

"No I don't Rivet," Hunter said. "But we really must go to figure out what's happen,"

Rivet then snapped out of it before she nodded as the two turned a corner where a sea of crystal pony was waiting.

"Rivet... get on my pack,"

"What? Why?"

"IT'S THEM!" The crystal ponies said as they rushed them as the two turned to run.

"That's why!" As the two ran down the street as Hunter reached out and grabbed Rivet.

"What you doing?!"

"I'm faster than you trust me!" He then placed her on his backpack as she clung to it.

"Hunter your in heavy armor how can you-" She then noticed how fast he was going easily out running the horde of crystal ponies, she then turned forward looking down at Hunter. "Huh... so this is what it's like,"

BANNED FROM EQUESTRIA?! (ALSO ANOTHER CHAPTER IN 12 HOURS ALONG WITH 3,700+ WORDS? HOT DAMN!)

Oh boy the trial went good yes but Twilight is pissed as can be... but who came blame her? Her brother is dead and these two who were there when it happened seemed a bit sus to her but lucky the two weren't ejected.

Sorry, sorry been meaning to do a among us joke for awhile now, don't worry it wouldn't happen again but I will use the term 'sus' from time to time. Besides that this whole thing is a call back to the beloved 'Law and order' TV show sorry if I messed up a bit on the whole court scene its been three years since my last law class.

Its funny since we had a mock trial with a real Judge (who was off duty) and a mock Jury... Guess who the Foreman was?

Yeah!

We the mock case was about this abused woman who stabbed her husband 21 times in the back while he slept. If it wasn't for her 'kid' we might have sent her to life rather than 40 years... though the acting (besides the Judge who could help but smile half the time) was awful and it wasn't a real trial.

Though ever since I had the idea for this story I wanted to make that last scene pop because you know. Usually Rivet would have either Clank or Kit on her back but now she's the one on Hunter's back. Get it?

Though I am very surprised no one has noticed Hunter being a character refrance of a character refrance who is refrance of none other than a man named John. Unlike his two counter parts he is a human though he is a expert tracker and veteran soldier (in this case battle-brother) who uses a massive heavy weapon. Though do space marines use bows? I haven't seen them ever do that before in cannon or on a kitbash weird. But hey its the grimdark who needs a bow when you can you a bolter?
