Entry twelve: Giant Monsters, Robots, And The End Of The World

After we got back, I took a seat on the couch and turned on the tv. After a few minutes of flipping channels, we stopped on some generic drama show, only for it to be railroaded by breaking news. “Ugh, what now?” I groaned.

“Breaking news, a giant spider monster has begun an attack on Paris, the justice league has yet to arrive at the scene..” The reporter said but I didn't need to hear anymore of what he had to say.

“That was Kumonga, one of the dna clones I was working on!” I exclaimed. “Kumonga is a colossal spider, a spider that might respond to me.” I said.

“Dont you need the Orca as well?” Jonathan asked.

“The ORCA? Oh I almost forgot about that device, yes, I’m going to need that.” I told him.

“I just gotta get home, I think I got one stashed somewhere.” Jonathan said before he teleported away along with his tiger.

“Everyone stay here in the house! I’m going to Doc Green’s lab.” I told them.

I opened a portal and walked into his lab and began hacking into his computers using my tentacles. Luckily no one was there since Thanos snapped his fingers and made everyone disappear. After a few seconds I gained control of the entire lab and began working on his large dish outside.

Jonathan soon returned with a case in hand, which I took with one of my tentacles. I took the device and placed it on the desk and hooked it up to the computers. As soon as it was hooked up I began analyzing everything about the device, how it works, what sounds it makes, everything. I then proceeded to download it all into my mind. “Ok, I’ve got it all in my head, now that I know how it works, I just have to modify how the frequency is delivered….. aaaaand done!” I said.

I called Rufus on my comms. “Rufus, Release the beast, I need Godzilla here now!” I said.

He didas I asked and two large metal doors came up from the ocean near the island and opened up. After a few gargantuan steps, Godzilla was outside.

“So how much damage do you think Kumonga has done?” Jonathan asked.

“Not very likely, Kumonga may be gigantic, but it’s still a spider, I don’t think it’s intentionally destroying things. Once it starts feeling the signal, it should start heading this way… along with every other damn kaiju in the world and possibly even in space.” I explained.

“That does not sound good.” Jonathan said as he rubbed his chin.

“They shouldn’t cause much trouble, not while she’s here.” I said pointing at Godzilla, who at that moment began giving off a roar.

“Aww isn’t she cute?!” I said with a chuckle.

“But wont the orca and godzilla together give conflicting signals? Godzilla naturally gives off the signal of an alpha, but this does as well.” Jonathan said, pointing at the orca.

“Nah, I’m just going to send out a frequency telling them to come here. And Godzilla will ensure none of them try to attack us.” I told him.

“Alright.” He said.

“Now to start sending out the signal.” I said as I began sending it through the dish.

“Um, so how long will it take to draw all of them here?” Jonathan asked.

“Well the signal is being sent out all over the world, into space, into the ocean, and etcetera, so they should start heading this way right now. Although it’ll take them a while, considering their mode of travel, they could arrive here quickly or slowly.” I said.

“As long as they dont break anything it's fine.” Jonathan said.

“Hmm.” I mumbled.

—Later—

“Ok, let’s see, who’s here…” I said as I continued to go down a list.

After I sent out the signal, multiple monsters showed up, and are now currently sitting in my shatterdome hanger for Jaegers.

“Ok, GODZILLA, check!” I said as I passed by her, to which she responded with a snort.

“MOTHRA, check!” I said as I gave her a look.

“KUMONGA, check!” I said as I passed.

“KAMACURAS, check!” I continued.

“RODAN, check!” I continued on as Rodan was preening her wings.

“MUTO, check!” I said as I passed by.

“MONSTER ZERO, ASTRO MONSTER, A.K.A. GHIDORAH, triple check!” I said as I looked at all three of her heads.

“ZILLA, check!” I continued on, taking a look at her as she was nesting. “Hey! No egg laying!” I yelled. “This is not a nursery for hatchlings, so unless those are unfertilized, I suggest you quit that right now!” After I finished, she stopped and just layed down with her tail wrapped around herself. I gave her a look then gave the following “I’m watching you” gesture.

“SPACEGODZILLA, check!” I said, continuing on.

“GAYOS, check! and apparently doing well in the artificial light…” I continued.

“MECHAGODZILLA….. Still being built.” I said as I continued on.

“DESTROYAH, aggregates still arriving, but mostly all here, check!” I said as the large female seemed to still be growing.

“BIOLLANTE, doing well with water and artificial sunlight, great going Ivy.” I said as I passed by Poison Ivy.

“Thanks!” She said, blowing me a kiss.

“Ok, where was I.. or right…BATTRA, check!” I said.

“CTHULHU MYTHOS, for some odd reason, check!” I said as I passed by the large tentacle-faced monster.

“GIGAN, check!” I said as I continued.

“GAMERA, check! Ok, that should be everyone!” I said as I finished the checklist.

“So that is 17 counting godzilla.” Jonathan said to confirm.

“Actually it’s 18, if you remember I also have Otachi.” I told him.

“Oh right.” He said. “Well is that everything you wanted?” He asked.

“Hmm, well, if it’s not too much trouble.. could you go find Blackfire, Starfire's sister?” I asked.

“Sure that's not a problem.

“K, while you're doing that I’m… hello?” I said as I a got a call and answered my phone. “Ah Lex! I was just about to call you! I assume you’ve caught what I asked for?” I asked.

“Yes, I have it right here.” He told me.

“Now Lex, you should know by now I’m not stupid.” I said in a singsong voice. “I’m going to need proof of capture.”

My phone rang again and I looked to see I received 2 photos.

“Very good Lex, have them delivered here as soon as possible.” I told him.

“Should be there within the hour.” he said before he hung up.

“Wonderful.” I said.

“What was that about?” Jonathan asked.

“Nothing you need to worry about! Why are you still here?!” I said.

“Alright I'm going, I'm going.” He said before vanishing.

“Hmm.” I grumbled as I walked over to where mechagodzilla was and began using my magic to finish it up. “There, done.” I said as I turned her on. The robot looked down at me and I patted it on the metal snout.

“Now what do I do?” I wondered. Then my doorbell rang upstairs. “Hmm, I wonder who that could be?” I said to myself.

I went upstairs and made my way to the front door. When I opened it I was greeted with Lex Luthor and the dragons I asked him to get. “Huh, that was quick.” I said.

“I said within the hour, but I was surprised as well by the speed of my new prototype jets.” Lex told me.

“Nice.” I said.

“Now I must take my leave. I have work to do.” Lex said as he turned around and tried to leave.

“Wait a minute.” I said, but when he turned around. “EXTERMINATE!” I yelled, as Lex was shot with my dalek gun. I walked up to him and saw he was still alive. This made me smile, now I get to monologue.

“You didn’t actually believe I’d let you live after all that, did you?” I asked him with a chuckle.

“Fuck you.” He said.

“Oh, come on, I’m about to kill you! Those can’t be your last words! You can’t think of anything iconic?!” I asked him.

He groaned before actually getting to his feet, putting his left hand on his side as he groaned in pain. “Did you expect some grand speech, or for me to beg for my life.” He said before he grinned. “I would rather die with some dignity than die like some dog.” He said before spitting out blood.

“Hmm, Y’know, that can actually be arranged.” I said to him.Then, with a wave of my hand Lex shrunk out of his clothes and in his place was a Xoloitzcuintli dog. It whimpered in pain as it struggled to stay on its legs before falling to the ground.

“Hmm, I could probably leave you like this…. But You did say that you didn’t wanna die as a dog, I should probably kill you, buuuut…” I said stroking my chin and scratching the back of my head with the Dalek gun that was my left forearm. Hope seemed to well up in his eyes for a moment. “Meh. EXTERMINATE!” I yelled as I shot him in the head. The dog fell lifelessly to the ground not even giving out a whimper.

“Why did I enjoy that?” I said to myself. “And why do I keep using the Dalek gun?” I asked as I transformed it back into an arm. “Oh well, probably something to worry about later.” I said with a shrug.

I brought the two dragons into the house and Immediately the dragon maid began cleaning up around the place. And Alduin just flopped onto the rug in the living room and went to sleep.

I went over to the couch and sat down. I grabbed the remote and turned on the tv. Then Jonathan walked through the door, carrying an unconscious Blackfire in his arms.

“She put up a little of a fight but I got her.” He told me.

“Thanks.” I said.

He set her down on the chair before he stretched. “She was far more durable then she looked so don't be afraid to be rough with her if she tries anything.” He told me.

“What about me?” Asked Jonathan.

“Me and starfire aren't on good terms because I took Raven.” He said.
