"We came as fast we could when Starlight told us that you needed us! So what seems to be the problem? Uh....Twi?!"

Twilight didn't respond to Applejack since she was too busy doing something with her magic that seemed to distract her from what was happening right now in the castle. Celestia then step forward in front of where Twilight was performing her spell.

"Twilight can't hear you. She's focusing her magic to try to sense this absurdly strong magic that's flowing through Equestria."

"What magic? No offense princess, but I think the whole sensing magic thing is just an Alicorn thing."

Luna rolled her eyes and glared at Rainbow Dash.

"IT IS NOT JUST AN ALICORN THING! It's something that's affecting not just ponies, but every race in Equestria. The reason why you don't sense it now is because we Alicorns perceive things more efficiently than other species. Now I would like it if you would STOP JOKING AROUND AND TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY!!!"

Rainbow Dash gulped and nodded as she flew down and hid behind Rarity.

"Y-Yes princess Luna.....hey.....I think I can sense the magic now! Hehehe......."

Luna glared at Rainbow Dash one more time before she eventually left the room entirely.

"Excuse Rainbow's ill mannered behavior. What we're trying to say is that we don't exactly know what exactly this magic is or what's causing it."

"Well this magic first popped up about a week ago. Me and Luna were walking to the store to get the ingredients for a cake when-"

"WHAT KIND OF CAKE WAS IT?!"

"Uhhhh....it was a chocolate cheesecake, but that's not-"

"OOH I LOVE CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE!!! ALTHOUGH I THINK I PREFER STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE SINCE STRAWBERRIES HAS THAT SWEET AND SOUR TASTE TO IT THAT CHOCOLATE DOESN'T HAVE AND-"

The hyper pink mare was thankfully muted from Starlight's magic that could be seen by every pony in the room.

"Thank you Starlight."

"No problem! I learned this spell just for Pinkie Pie in case she did her usual lost from reality ramblings."

"Well anyways when me and Luna were just in town doing our usual routine we suddenly sensed this chaotic and horrifying magic coming from Equestria. We reported the matter to Twilight immediately and she too had sensed this severe magic. Then when we were discussing what to do suddenly Spike vanished and we haven't seen him ever since!"

"THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO ANGEL!!! I went into my cottage to get some carrots for him and then when I returned he was gone!!!"

"Big Mac is also gone too! He told Apple bloom that he was going to buck some apples in the upper part of the farm, but Apple Bloom said that he hadn't come back! Something fishy is going on here and I want to find out what!"

"Well luckily I've successfully pinpointed where the source of the magic is coming from!"

Twilight finished sensing where the magic was and was ready to reveal it to the others. When Twilight was about to share the information with the others when she noticed Pinkie Pie was holding Starlight in a way that would signify that something was wrong with her.

"Pinkie Pie is Starlight ok?"

Pinkie Pie's lips were moving, but nothing came out.

"Oh my apologies, Starlight put Pinkie on a silence spell while you were tracking the energy source."

Twilight almost rolled her eyes as she then used a spell that allow Pinkie to actually speak while her lips were moving.

"Thank you Twilight! Now what I was saying was that I was listening to what Princess Celestia say when I turned around and saw Starlight pass out on the ground! I tried to tell you guys, but no pony could here me since SOME pony had muted me!!"

"So....Sorry....about that..." Starlight weakly said.

Rarity then noticed that parts of Starlight's body was slowly starting to fade.

"Are you ok darling?!"

"I.....don't feel so good..."

"HANG IN THERE SUGARCUBE!!!"

Before anyone could reach out to help Starlight, she completely vanished out of Pinkie's grasp like a water stain on a piece of paper.

"STARLIGHT!!!" Twilight shouted to no prevail.

Twilight collapsed on the ground, tears flowing out of her eyes. First it was Spike and now she lost not only her pupil, but one of her closest friends. Celestia and her friends came by her side and comforted her with a warm yet sad hug. Twilight smiled at her friend's compassion in darkest times like this. Rainbow Dash was the first to get out of the family hug and put her hoof on Twilight's shoulder.

"Don't worry Twilight we'll get Starlight back from whatever took her! When were together nothing can stop us!!"

"YEAH!!" The others said in agreement.

"YOU'RE RIGHT!!! WE'RE GOING TO SAVE STARLIGHT, SPIKE, AND ANYPONY ELSE THAT THING TOOK!!! LET'S GO GIRLS!!"

Celestia smiled as she saw the girls galloping out of the castle like they usually do when there was a big threat to Equestria. She said 2 words before the group completely disappeared from her view.

"Good Luck."

Meanwhile Luna was flying by herself to trace the source of the heinous magic coursing through Equestria. Luna wanted to do this by herself since she found out first hoof that Twilight's friends were too immature to go on this mission. Unfortunately Tia was more naive and would most likely let Twilight and her friends go on the mission anyways. Which was more reason for her to resolve the situation quickly before Twilight's friends made it worst.

"Why if it isn't Princess Luna herself!"

Luna quickly turned around while having her horn lit to see who was behind her.

"WHO DARES PROVOKE THE PRINCESS OF THE NIGHT?!!!!"

Before Luna launched her attack she then recognized who the pony was standing in front of her was. She also figured out that the same pony was the one with the magic that was in the air.

"How did you get this savage magic?!"

"Why tell you when I can show you how I got this great power from!!"

The figure in an instant punched Luna multiple times in the cheek. Luna screamed out in pain as she didn't have enough time to react to the blows. When she got back up she noticed there were scars all over her body that looked like....bear scars.

"What sorcery is this?!!!"

"You still haven't figured it out yet? I wonder why you're the Princess of the night."

"DON'T MOCK ME YOU FIEND!!!

Luna yelled as she blasted the figure with a deadly beam that hit the pony at full blank. When the smoke cleared though the figure just stood there unfazed.

"How.....HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?!!"

"Luna Luna Luna! I'm so disappointed in you! I expected more from a Princess that can raise the moon every day. Oh well! I guess I just got way too powerful for you to handle. Oh my apologies I forgot it's my turn to hit you with a beam of my own!!"

The pony then blasted Luna with their beam and it completely disintegrated half of Luna's flesh. The beam was so big it could've wiped out an entire village with no difficulty. That's when it clicked in Luna's head what was happening.

"D-Did.......you....take...the power......of....a ursa major......?" Luna asked weakly while trying not to pass out.

"DUH!! Took you long enough! But let me expand what you said. I don't only have the strength of an Ursa Major, but I also have the physical resistance of an Ursa Major as well! Which means that any blast you Alicorns hit me with feels like some pony hit me with a pillow at a pillow fight. Which basically means your magic is pathetic and you need to be dethroned immediately."

"I....will...NOT ALLOW NO SUCH THING!!!"

"Of course which is why I'm going to kill you dum dum!"

Luna was about to shoot another beam at the figure when suddenly her magic dissipated from her horn and her body. She suddenly felt like she was being drained.

"WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO MY MAGIC?!!"

The pony looked at Luna smugly and took a satisfied breath.

"I just took your magic from your body and put it into my magnificent body. It only seemed fitting for some pony that ACTUALLY deserves this power. You know not a worthless pony like you!"

Suddenly as the pony was talking Luna could feel her hoof shrinking and becoming weak. There were also wrinkles that was spreading all over her body.

"Oh and another fact that I left out, when I took your magic away from your body it also gave me your immortality. It also gives me the ability to fly without having wings since magic is in your wings. OH WAIT I FORGOT SOMETHING DON'T DIE YET!!! I also have your ability to raise the moon whenever I feel like it. Here let me show you!"

The moon then instantly rise and overshadowed the sun making the light from the day time turn into darkness for the night. Luna then whimper with tears in her eyes and looked up at the figure only managing one word:

"Why.......?"

"Nothing personal you're just in the way of our plan of taking the kingdom away from Twilight. I mean you did help me by letting me take all your magic and getting these sick upgrades. So you know what I'll let you die from your aged body instead of blasting you to smithereens. Well on that note meet your new Princess of the night, THE GREAT AND MAGNIFICENT TRIXIE!!!"

Trixie then looked down to see that Luna was already dead on the ground.

"Damn! You just had to die when I was making my fabulous speech. Good riddance to you!!

Trixie then disintegrated what was left of Luna's corpse and flew away.
