All you need is a crappy laptop and a helmet covered in wires and you can feel, see, hear and experience literally anything you want. Aiden was fired from his job at a café since paying to eat out is now a thing of the past when you can eat infinitely better food in infinitely more interesting locations for free in a sim.

For a few years he does as everyone else does and spends as much time as possible in false worlds. But every time he goes outside everything becomes dirtier, darker and quieter. The world is dying and so is his optimism. He barely ever sees his family and never sees his friends.

Someone needs to save the world, to show everyone what they're doing is stupid and fake. He thinks back to a dark moment in which he loaded up a sim of Equestria and found comfort in a yellow AI pony. He'll start there with a mind capture of himself doing the worst things he possibly can to them all. Maybe if people experience their stupid waifus being shot they'll be reminded their worlds aren't real.
