Spike Draco is not a good man. He’s not an angel. No, he’s far from it. you can call him DracoS, or just Spike. He’d probably prefer going by Spike.
Now, Spike’s job is very simple, yet very specific. Say some asshole owes you money and refuses to pay you back. Well, what do you do? Do you let the son of a bitch run off without paying you? Hell No! Why would you do that? All you have to do is give Spike a call, and Boom, Spike will get you that nice bit of cash back minus a small fee, maybe a few people hurt thrown in. But you’ll damn well getting your money.
Most people might consider it a barbaric job but someone has to do it. Spike, he just happens to be someone who’s damn proud of his job and the work he does.
Then everything changed.
For most, it was just one of those days. A usual Monday morning, the birds chirping, and was regular for the most part. Spike was heading over to his office with his hands a little bloody, though things like that happen while you're on the job. On this particular Monday morning, Spike was in a bit of a mood when he entered his office building.
His secretary, Rarity, was cleaning her nails, looking as bored as possible.
“Hey Rarity, are there any calls?” He muttered while cracking the dry blood off his finger nails.
“Let me check. Hmm, yeah, you’ve got a meeting in about an hour or so. He says he's got a job for you. Also, Donut Joe called asking if you got his money or if you had to break Judoons Legs or both?”
Spike groaned as he shook his head and replied,
“No, sadly couldn’t get him the money. As for breaking his legs, fucker decided that he’d do it himself trying to get away from me. Jumped off a two-story building and his spindly legs snapped like twigs. He’ll live but it’s clear he won’t walk for a while.”
Rarity sighed as she was writing this down.
“Billy isn’t going to be happy about that. He paid a pretty penny. Should I write him a check? You know how stingy this bastard is.”
“Na’h, just let him know I got him something else as payment. But I don’t think Judson's going to be able to text for a bit.” Spike tossed a washcloth from his pocket over to Rarity. She looked at it for a minute then her face scrunched up as she recognized what was in the cloth. With a disgusted look, she pushed the cloth over to the side.
“Noted, I’ll give Mr. Joe a call so he can pick up his… Prize. Yeah, you better clean up before your next client gets back.”
“That's the plan. After you're done with that, take the rest of the day off, I’ll handle this client. Let Sweetie belle know I said hey.” He chuckled talking to his secretary.
“Will do, her birthday's coming by next week and I still need to get her something for her. Are you coming over, Uncle Spike?”
“I might, want me to get her anything?”
“Sure, though please don’t get her what you got last year. The last thing I need is a repeat of last year.” Rarity sighed annoyed as she remembered what happened last time.
“What? I thought it was a good gift. Every kid needs one.”
“Yeah, when you said you were getting her a gun, I though you meant a nerf gun, not a Desert Eagle. So please no real weapons. Get her a pony doll, or switch. She’s only eleven.”
“Never too young to learn how to shoot. You’ll thank me when she’s dealing with all them boys.” Spike smirked as he popped his neck and headed into the back.
“I swear, I work for an asshole.”
“You do!” The door closed behind him while Rarity let out a long sigh as she packed her things and got ready to leave. She figured that she could make it to the store before they closed. These days it was hard to tell when the store was actually opened. Rarity sighed as she looked over at that damn little cloth swaddling a severed thumb. If she didn't do something with that fast, she imagined they were going to stink.
Spike stood in front of the mirror, wiping the steam off as he began shaving his face. A quick shave never hurt anyone as he began cutting the stubble off. Looking professional was half the game, he thought as he cleaned his face. Sure other people would keep the beard for that manly look. Yet Spike would managed to keep a balance between freshly shaven and Don’t fuck with me.
The contractor examined himself. A well managed body, fairly strong with a few scars on his chest. A few scars from gunshots over his shoulder, and other place. A well placed scar around his eye that looked like a crescent moon. Now that little thing had a story, though that was a tale for another day. Music played in the background, Tough e nuff, by the Fabulous thunderbirds. As he jammed to the melody. Definitely a classic in his opinion.
He whipped his head back and forth as he popped his back. He soon motioned over and started getting dressed.
He started with a t-shirt, and Bulletproof vest, never leave home without it. With his line of work, you sometimes find yourself getting shot in the chest, and Spike knew better then anyone the worst thing to happen was to get shot in the chest. Plus wearing a suit over it, managed to add to the bulk; Made him look larger.
Then he proceeded to put on a new white button up, and tan over jacket as he fixed his tie, a clip on sure, though the last thing anyone needed was someone grabbing your tie and using it to choke him.
Learn that one the hard way. Not falling for that again. He smirked showing off his perily white teeth as he gave a light nod.
That was when the phone rang: Spike reached over grabbing it and quickly answer,
“Dirty deeds: Done not so cheap.” He answered with a chuckle. If he was going to get his hands dirty he better be with it.
“Ah hello there, Mr. Spike I assume, I talked to your secretary.”
“This is Spike, and I assume you’re the client Rarity told me about?” Spike asked as he listened to the man, he sounded like a slimy car salesman, He got them from time to time. Imagining that he would deal with some punk who bought a hot rod and didn’t want to pay for it, and this guy didn’t want to get a tow truck.
“That’s me, I’m standing outside your office, I wanted to make sure you were in there before I came up.”
“Go for it, I’ll be out in a minute.” He proceeded to grab a few things a pen and steno pad. Making sure he took some notes. He even clicked a light button to record their conversation; he was going to make sure he caught everything. So if a client decided not to pay him. Spike would be able to get a good picture of them and pay them a little visit.
The door opened and walked in was a finely dressed man, sharp suit and a smile that looked so crooked it could match a hillbilly smile. He wore all white with a black tie as he cleaned his hand a gold ring over his left index finger, So Spike imagined he was a married man. But Spike knew exactly who he was.
“Hmm aren’t you a little far away from your church Preacher?” He muttered as he clicked his tv and turning it over to the televangelist channel, at least what he called it. Where you could hear the word of god twenty-four seven from random men of god. What were the chances the same man standing in Spikes little Office was standing right there calling for the arms of God, against the goverment and how they wanted to take Jesus away from them.
“Please call me Stygian Well I figured I’d come and visit the sinners, after all its what Jesus would do my good sir.” The preacher said with a wide smile, Spike just groaned shaking his head,
“Well while you’re here to hang out with Sinners, I’d like some cash so whats the job? Need me to go after an Alter boy that got to old for you?” He snarked slightly eying the Televangelist.
“Fine, I’ll be frank, I’ve got some bitch stealing money from my church, and more importantly me, and I want you to teach ‘em a lesson, I want you to put the fear of god in them since it’s clear that I couldn’t do it myself.”
“Hmm alright, and whats the budget?” Spike asked writing down a few details, including a small note for himself that read, Fucks alter boys on the side. While keeping his eyes on the preacher.
“Well, I would have to know, though I could be willing to pay for your Service, and bless you with good fortune, to allow you to enter the kingdom of Heaven.” He smirked as he reached over to raise his hands.
“How about we forget about getting me into the kingdom of Heaven, no way in hell that guy’s letting me in after half the shit I’ve done, and I take cash, so Ten thousand dollars and you’ve got a deal.” Spike gruffer out as he raised his hand, truly a man of his word he waited for his response.
“You know what, sure you have a deal, I can get you half now, and half when you got the job done.” The preacher said with a chuckle,
“Sure thing, and as I said, I take cash, I don’t trust checks.” Spike smirked as he rolled his neck while getting a light smirk.
“No problem, but I will need you to get the job done tonight, I’m on a bit of a time limit, so please make sure they learn their lesson.”
“I’m going to need a picture, make sure my target is the right one. As a rule I don’t go after none clients.” Spike muttered tapping the table.
“Oh yes, here you go, I got it specially for you.” He smirked pulling a picture out of his back pocket the paper crumbled as it revealed an older man, looking to be in his late forties.
“Hmm alrighty, Bring the money over and I’ll take care of it.”
“Good good, Now here’s the address, I’ve got the cash in my car, and please god bless you.”
“Yeah, yeah,” Spike coughed out. Watching the preacher leave.
When all was said and done, Spike counted out the cash shook the Televangelists hand and they went their seperate ways, of course Spike would have to get the other half when the job was done, but this was a cool ten grand, and he was determined to get this job taken care of.
“Well, we better get started.” Spike chuckled as he headed over to a few filing cabnets, where he started pulling out a few tools he would need, A lock picking set, a couple of guns, and a good bit of bullets. Never have enough of those. As he began putting them into the holsters and the ammo clips in certain area’s for quick access. The guns he chose was a Colt Combat Elite with a modified 13 round magazine capacity, blue elite stainless, with a two-tone finish and a black hand rubber grip, fine slide catch quick for reloading, .45 ACP Caliber.
The other gun, in case something went wrong and he needed a second gun was another Colt Goverment model, stainless hard rubber with a Mattet stainless finish, though this one might have been only 8 round, with a single trigger action. It could do the job just the same if not better. Beside Spike had a thing for the Colt guns, after all like his daddy use to say,
God created man, yet Colt made them equal. He motioned them into their holsters carefully keeping them hidden. Last thin he needed was to cause any attention to himself. As he started heading off. It was time for Spike to get to work.
He Locked his door; walking out never knowing this might have been the last time he entered his office again.
Spike drove off to Collins ave, not far from where his office was, as he began turning heading towards the apartment complex. Specifically complex number 9 apartment 302. The place was slightly run down. As he climbed the creeking stairs, He shuddered imagining that his weight might cause him to fall right through if he wasn’t careful yet he eventually made his way to the top floor.
He adjusted his tie, as he cracked his neck. His shoulders pushed up as he made himself look even bigger than he was before,
“Time to get to work.” He muttered with a light sigh as he would knock on the door. Three knocks, no more no less. As he waited for his target to open the door.
The man from the picture stood there, Looking at him with exhausted eyes, as he sighed,
“Is there something you need? I’m kind of busy?”
“Yeah, I’ve been hired by Stygian, I believe you stole some money from him.” Spike said that cool relaxed smile as he pushed his hand over making sure that his target wasn’t going to slam the door in his face.
“Yeah, and you tell that son of a bitch If I ever see him again I’ll beat the ever living shit out of him for what he’s done to my family.” The old man muttered his gruff voice sharp as he poked his fingers into Spikes chest.
“Really now, well I guess, I’ll let him know.” Spike soon moved grabbing the old man’s fingers and began squeezing them the tips at first before twisting them as the old man groaned in pain as his hand followed along and Spike pushed him right into the door.
“Listen, Stygian payed me to get his money back. The money you stole, and I expect it to be handed over. Otherwise, I’ll be breaking some bones.” He muttered clearly annoyed as he pushed the old man into his living room. The room was barely furnished, Barely anything to make it a home; matching the outside.
“I didn’t steal any damn money from the son of a bitch, if anything he stole money from me, and fucked up my god damn family.” The old man cried out trying to break out but clearly it wasn’t working.
“Well how about this explain to me what he did that really fucked you over.” Spike was suspicious for a man who apparently was stealing from a mega-church, and the televangelist, he wasn’t using much of that money. Hell he figured there would be something nice. He pushed him into the molding couch and watched him.
“That hypocrite, took everything I had. My wife, she— she believed in him, trusted him and hoped that he would heal her, sadly she had cancer. Though all he did was hurt us took everything we had. We had our 401K, but he convinced her into leaving everything she had, to him in her will, our house. The land, everything we owned. I couldn’t fight him. He conned my wife out of so much, then he— then he.” He was about to cry when a small voice called out,
“Dad, is everything ok?” A small timed voice called out, Spike looked off seeing a sixteen year old, clearly pregnant, her stomach sticking out. As Spike smiled,
“Hey there, I’m a friend of Stygian—” That was when without warning the girl screamed backing away, The old man who he now assumed was her father managed to find the strength and pulled away running over to his daughter. Spike walked over and saw it, a man consoling his daughter who was crying in the corner in tears as she was shaking in fear.
“What did he do?” Spike asked, he was feeling something; Shame? Was it shame he was feeling? Spike wasn’t sure but he shook his head at that point.
“You want to know, He raped my daughter! My little Diamond Tira, He forced himself on her claiming It would be what the Lord wanted! When I found out I wanted to kill him! He tried Bribing me, offering me money claiming it was the biblical way! What a crock of shit, I tossed his money at him and we were going to head to the police. I was planning on bringing going to the station cause we can’t pay the fucking phone bill.” The venom in the mans voice was strong. As the young girl cried in his shoulder. Spike didn’t look him in the eye there, guilt— anger, he wasn’t sure, but Spike knew one thing. It wasn’t right.
“Here take this,” he tossed him the first half of the payment to come beat the shit out of this man. He didn’t want it… Spike might not be a good man: But that didn’t make him a Monster.
“I don’t want your money. I want you to get out of the house, Why don’t you just go tell that Stygian to fuck off!” The old man spat out tossing the money back at Spike the anger growing more. Spike gave a chuckle and put the money back in his pocket.
“You got it boss, In fact you’re payment has been taken.” He would walk out of the room and heading out, much to the confusion of the older man. Who only went back to hugging his daughter holding her close as they consoled each other.
Spike walked out and got in his car, a Dodge Challenger, as he reached over pulling his Burner phone out, dialing his former clients number.
“Ah, isn’t it the great Mr. Spike, did you get the job done, and get them off my back.”
“Yeah, I found them, and I quit,”
“Quit? You can’t quit, I already payed you.” Stygian exclaimed clearly angry, The gruff in his voice as he was trying to sound tougher though It didn’t effect Spike.
“Yeah, and I have something called integrity, and finding out what you did… I might be a bastard but I’m not a damn monster. So I’m going to give you an hour, Get out of town.”
“Are you threatening me? I am a man of the cloth!” Stygian called out, though Spike just chuckled,
“Well, listen here. You may claim to be the voice of God but at this moment, You better run, cause let me tell you the news, my hearts been wept by the midnight dew, and Gods gonna cut you down.” Spike chuckled as he heard the priest’s voice shake at this as though he was ready to make his next move. But took in a deep breath and whispered.
“I’ll take my chance.”
“Your funeral, slick.” Spike hanged up and tossed his phone off into the passenger seat, When he started the ignition. Then without warning, something that Spike had not expected or even saw coming.
His car, the Challenger he loved more than any woman, burst into a ball of flames. Taking itself, along with Spike out of the picture.
This might be the end of old Spike, yet as it was said only the good died young and Spike, wasn’t a good man. He’d be back though when he came back who knows. But Spike always got his target.

“Am I dead?” Spike asked himself, the long deep breaths as he walked though a realm of darkness. Every step felt like a mile, He moved onwards walking down the path, following it, while looking back and found that there was nothing there. No road or even light. Just the endless abyss.
“I wonder what would happen if I walked back? Would I fall, Where am I?” He wondered as he continued on as he felt his heart racing. He shook his head as He began slowing his heart down. A slight trick he learned, as he continued on. Though he had a feeling, as though something was watching him; The eerie silence was unpleasant.
“Well, this isn’t heaven, and it sure as hell isn’t hell. No demons hanging me by my nipples on hot chains, while sexy demoness whipping me nonstop… I say I’ll be winning.” Spike mumbled to himself as he continued walking onwards, A slight whistle as he continued onwards in the silent darkness. Walking off, he couldn’t help thinking about his life, and how he got in this situation. Mainly the normal questions.
“Will anyone miss me? Will that Fucker Die? Who’s going to send Rarity her check? Dear God, someone needs to give Rarity her Check! If she found out someone blew him up, He knew she’d figure out how to bring him back to life just to kill him again.” He continued on walking through the darkness, wondering where he was going, a simple idea as he moved through the deep nothingness. The road seeming endless.
“I guess, we’ll get there when we get there.” He sighed not sure what was happening next, especially with the lack of knowledge of where he was at right now. It was like he was in some strange limbo.
Then without warning; Spike stopped.. He was hearing something, It was slow, it was Raspy and it was large. Like heavy breathing from a giant. Slowly, Spike turned around. Although he saw nothing. He could feel himself being watched. Like something was spying upon the very human himself. This made Him turn around and began jogging lightly. Not much could scare the hitman, but whatever this feeling that was coming over him. It was by far old. An instinct that was sowed into his very DNA. Telling him to avoid this place. He felt he was not alone, and wherever he was at, was filled with something.
Something that was older, and more ancient than time itself, and he was old when his world was young. Whatever it was had awakened, and it would feel something moving around in its home. Spike had disturbed the nothingness that was around here, and he feared he might have angered something.
He moved onwards, still hearing that raspy breathing, his mind going to many places But he wondered if he could even comprehend what he was even going on. Or if his own mind had blacked everything out to protect him. He groaned popping his neck when suddenly he was stopped in place. Something had grabbed him by the leg. Slowly, Spike would begin looking down.
A hand emerged from the darkness a long black skeleton hand holding onto his ankle. Spike watched it as his first response over everything else, was grabbing the Colt from his jacket shooting the Skeletons arm. Barely missing his own leg, as he began running. His breathing getting heavy as every other second. A new hand would appear. Spike would react by shooting at it. He hadn’t stopped running, as he tried to escape their grasp. Yet in the end, Spike found himself tripping his face sliding against the ground. His face was burning. As he tried getting up.
Those hands began grabbing right hold of him. Those bone hands grabbing on them. Their grips were strong, which was impressive for things without muscles. Spike tried fighting them, Even grabbing his gun. While he growled more.
“Get the fuck off me.” Though the hands grabbed his arms and soon, Spike began feeling himself being dragged down. Slowly he was pulled deeper into the abyss. Soon Spike felt nothing. Spike was completely lost.
Spike found himself opening his eyes taking a deep breath. His heart racing as he It felt as though he was taking the first breath of air in a long time, as his head shot up looking around. He looked around. He wasn’t in a hospital, No instead he was standing in what looked to be a stone room, candles circling around him with strange symbols on the wall, glowing a deep shade of red as they dripped nine men circling wearing dark cloaks as they watched him.
Spike wasn’t sure what was going on as he looked around and saw his gun as he reached over to pick it up. Figuring he was going to need to pick a fight. He wasn’t going to give them time to react. That was when without warning a voice said.
“Come with us, our Queen wishes to speak to you.” The deep elegant voice said raising an arm to him. Spike noticed that it was a skeleton hand. He raised an eyebrow and muttered,
“You can take your bony hand a shove it.”
He pointed his gun at the cloaked figure ready to shoot at him and make a run for it. Though the other figured grabbed ahold of him. He jerked his body ready to fight them off. Though they dragged him off, as he kicked and punched. One of the cloak figures began complaining.
“By the gods, this guy is a struggling, are you sure the queen wants him?”
“Shush you, what if the Queen heard you, she’d destroy us for our lack of faith!” While smacking the other one. Who shook their head.
“How about you let me go, otherwise I’m going to to shove this ones head up the other ones ass!” Spike growled as he was being dragged off.
“We are under orders Sir, otherwise we might be incline to release you.” Spike jerked his body ready to fall down the stairs if he has to. Though in the end he was dragged off and sighed knowing he would get out. He was prepared for an escape plan.
You think you can just hold me down, you’ve got another thing coming. He growled, while gritting his teeth.
They dragged him off to what looked like a large room, a palace no doubt. The windows looked like stainglass, depicting demons and monsters. Watching over him, Spike admitted he found it quite queer. They pulled him forward, as they dropped him right into the front. Spike was dropped down before the throne. The hands grabbing his shoulder as Spike looked up towards the figure. The one who decided to summon him.
“Hello,” The voice spoke. Spike looked up towards the figure wearing a dark cloak. The voice was soft, “Welcome to my Kingdom, I am Twilight. I hope that you have been treated well.” Spike got on his feet, as he took a spit in the ground,
“Yeah, I’m Spike, now what then flying fuck do you want with me? Better make it quick otherwise I’m going to throw one of these fuckers at you.” He growled, eying one of his captives who both seemed to look nervous. Spike couldn’t help reaching up adjusting his tie.
“Hmm a feisty one, Yes, you will do. Now, why have I called you here? It’s simple, you’re here to save my home, you are my Champion.” The figure calling themselves Twilight began pulling the hood off. Under that cloak was a beautiful woman, who looked barely in her twenties. Soft features, with ruby red lips. Though Spike began noticing more about her. Like the fact, her eyes are as crimson blood, like fresh blood. Then the fact Horns that rolled back sticking out the front reminding him of goats. Those were the big things he noticed. Another was how she smiled Sharp teeth like sharks.
“You’re champion? Please, I am no one's champion, now send me home.” He turned around. The two guards watching him for a moment. “Get out of my way.” He growled though they raised their weapon, ready to defend themselves. Each holding a set of spears. Twilight watched him with much glee
The guards were ready to fight in honor of their Queen. Though the next thing they knew Spike's hand grabbed one of them and tossed him right at the other taking the spear and began whacking them upside the head. Repeating the process over and over again till they fell to the floor, and turned around he gripped the spear like a javelin and threw it as hard, and as straight as he could towards Twilight, figuring he would get in a shot. After all no one fucked with Spike. The moment the Spear left his hand he turned around making a run for it. Running towards the door, But as soon as he got there and was about to open it.
Spike suddenly found himself unable to move every time he tried running it was as if he was running on a treadmill. He looked back and was shocked to see that Twilight was alright. She stood there to hand out as if she was working a puppet and twiddled her fingers as she brought him right back towards her. Spike was flung back. back as he stood there. Before Twilight lowered her hands releasing him from whatever spell she had on him.
“Now please relax, I would like to discuss some things,” Twilight said that relaxed smirk as she placed him down before her.
“I don’t give a fuck. As I said send me home and find some other champion.”
“Hmm, well let's make a deal, if you help me, do as I wish. I will send you home, then you may have anything you desire.” She smirked leaning in her ruby red lips glistening more as she whispered. “I will provide you everything you need so long as you are here, My great warrior.”
“Anything I desire, and what would that be?” Spike asked rather curious knowing he would probably get a good few things if he really wanted to.”
“Anything you desire, Land, money, servent, even a castle. Any woman within this kingdom maybe yours. If you so desire it, you would even have me?” she smirked as she let the robe drop revealing her elegant frame. She was the very notion of a woman— Hell Spike might have imagined she had the body of a goddess if it wasn’t for the demon horns. Long luscious legs, wide hips with an hourglass frame. Muscular in most places though her breasts were large. Sagging a bit but they were definitely a hand full. She wore what seemed to be an armored Bikini. Leaving nothing to Spike's imagination.
“Well, as long as I’m being paid. What’s the job?” Spike said giving a slight chuckle. Besides if it would get him home. The faster he’ll work after all he had a bastard priest to find and kill. He wasn’t just going to hurt the guy. No Spike was far from being merciful. Spike, never showed Mercy to those that betrayed him. That was a fact.
“It’s simple You will be my champion, protecting my kingdom, from a rival kingdom that desires to destroy us. Take our land. This I will never allow.”
“Hmm, so who do I need to hurt to send the message not to fuck with us?” Spike raised an eyebrow reaching over to his pocket feeling his colts were still in his pocket. Twilight laughed as he rested her chin on her knuckle.
“Why quiet a few, and I like your style. Quite frankly the land of Equestria has been trying to push themselves onto our land, and one of them is getting a little too close to the kingdom. I’ll send you to a few of them. Maybe you can take care of their general. Though be careful. He’s considered a legendary warrior. He’s not to be taken too lightly.
Spike nodded, though smirked more.
“Sure thing. I think I can take care of this legendary warrior, I’ll need a rise and someone to guild me through this world. Since I’m not from around here, and my payment?” He chuckled, figuring that he would find out what he’s going to get for this job.
“You’ll receive it upon completing this mission, and if you bring the warrior's head, I’ll add something else,” Twilight added as if she was tempting him with something. Spike gave a chuckle.
“You’re a woman after my heart aren’t you.”
“I prefer to be called Demon Queen if you don’t mind Champion,” Twilight smirked as she would lick her lips as if she was hungry from something. Those eyes glistening for something. Spike wasn’t sure but he had all he needed.
“We’ll start as soon as we can. How does that sound?” He looked over to the others.
“We’ll get everything ready in an hour, and please My champion don’t fail me.”
“Call me Spike, and no worry I’ll get the Job done. After all, It’s what I do.”
