My Little Pony: Unfinished Business

Three Years Later

Cozy Glow was playing online chess. Her Office has had a few things added to it over the past three years. Amongst all the pictures she's had from various moments in her life with her now husband Veritas Revelare, there was one picture frame of a stain glass window at Canterlot Castle. The glass window in question depicted Cozy Glow leading the ponies of Paradise in the assualt on the corrupt former Mayor who to this day, has had his name lost to time.

Additionally, once word got out about what Cozy Glow did for Paradise, many creatures decided to give her a chance, even the Cutie Mark Cursaders and the Young Six were amongst her group of friends by now. All the while, to keep Paradise from ever falling into corruption again, Cozy Glow decided to open Paradise as a tourist destination with the town bringing in great revenue as a result. Plus, now that Paradise was made more open to the public, Cozy Glow worked with Princess Twilight to work out a mode of transportation to and from the town that didn't involve magic or flight for the visitors specifically, allowing all creatures to come visit Paradise. Now the town really did live up to the name.

Additionally, if anyone was ever found guilty of a small time crime, they would be banished to Paradise instead of being put in jail, and while many would soon find themselves staying in the town after their time was up, others either left due to families they had or because they broke Paradise's laws which means they were to be given further punishment after being given back to Princess Twilight and Prince Flash Sentry.

Speaking of, Princess Twilight and Prince Flash Sentry have had a unicorn child with the same coat as her father. She was called Velvet Sentry; named after her grandma. Unfortunately, the happiness of a filly was soon replaced by the sadness of a loss: Velvet Sparkle died of cancer a few months after getting to witness her grandaughter's entry into the world.

As Cozy Glow checkmated her opponent in online chess, Veritas Revelare came in.

"Cozy, Princess Twilight, Prince Flash Sentry, the Princess's friends, and Twilight's protégé are outside." Veritas Revelare said.

"Thanks sweetie." Cozy Glow said, kissing her husband before heading outside. Cozy Glow had really grown up since appointment as Mayor, and because she was now friends with Princess Twilight, the two have worked together to make Equestria a place for every creature. It was now Cozy Glow's first time meeting with Luster Dawn.

"You...your Cozy Glow." Luster Dawn said. "Then...that means...the whole story about Paradise...was it true?" Luster Dawn asked.

"Heh, it sure is. Why not sit back and let me tell you the story from the very beginning." Cozy Glow said.

After Cozy Glow finished telling the story, Luster Dawn felt ashamed.

"Wow...you somehow was able to find true friendship and even fall in love in the process when you became Mayor here." Luster Dawn said. Veritas Revelare was now outside with the group.

"Well, some people may want one thing, but find that destiny has in store something else entirely. This may not have been the position of authority I desired, but it is the position of authority I deserved to have." Cozy Glow said. "And remember that sometimes you'll meet the most unusual folk out there while your making friends. Just so long as you keep an open mind, friendship is possible for everyone." She added.

"I guess friendship really can be something to work towards, and I don't mind work, it's just...I've put off friendships for so long, I wouldn't know where to start." Luster Dawn said.

"That's alright, because I know exactly where to send you." Princess Twilight said.

As Luster went off to start making friends, Cozy Glow and the others smiled at her as she headed off while the sun set behind them.
