Since her transformation, Bookish has been enjoying living her peaceful new life in Ponyville. She’s got all the books she can read, the company of friends, and a lovely spot to watch the sunset from. If it were up to her, she could just live there in peace for the rest of her days.

Unfortunately for her, the world seems to have other plans. After trade from the Badlands all but ceases, pressure mounts on the Princesses to act, and Luna’s Ward is in danger of being caught under the scrutinous eyes of the Canterlot Elite. Twilight works late into the nights, consumed by some new project, unwilling to accept help even from Spike. And unbeknownst to our protagonists, something stirs in the shifting sands to the south.

But no worries. After all, an easy life would get boring eventually, right?
