The Last Hearts and Hooves Day

After she was done contemplating what she would need to do, she decided to head towards Twilight's castle to see if maybe she could see Starlight Glimmer. Before heading out though, she grabbed her saddlebags and grabbed a couple things she knew she would need. She grabbed her largest butcher knife because she would need something to kill those troublemaker royals with. She then got a sadistic grin on her face and snickered, "Maybe I could even drag this out, I could extend their suffering."

After that thought she headed to her practice to grab a couple of other things. She thought that once they got back into the past that Starlight might cause her some problems so she grabbed some sedatives. She also began to wonder what it would look like if she was to puncture the lungs of a pony so she grabbed the instrument to remove debris from between ponies' teeth. She got a smile on her face as she got everything into her saddlebags and headed towards the palace.

As she was headed through town, it was all Colgate could do to not vomit. She saw plenty of heart decorations and couples out buying one another treats, flowers and much to her disgust, kissing. She thought to herself, "Ugh, can't they keep that shit indoors? Such filth was never meant to be done out in public, never!"

She then saw something that infuriated her, Lyra having a meal with Bon Bon at the restaurant. This pissed her off enough but when she saw the two give one another a tender kiss, she had had enough of this. She stormed over to the two and screamed, "Lyra Heartstrings, what the hell is this?" She flared her horn up in anger and yelled, "You better not be buying this bitch a meal."

Lyra was terrified but Bon Bon knew she had to hold up for her marefriend, "Look, I bought her this meal and I don't know why you have to be such a bitch over this."

Colgate blew her off and yelled, "Come on Lyra, I don't need this shit and you don't need it. You can do better, much better!"

Lyra knew that the time had come to finally stand up to her elder sister. She firmly stated, "No Colgate, I am not coming with you." She turned to Bon Bon, gave her a smile before turning back to Colgate and continued, "You know what, I have talked to Bon Bon and she said I could move in with her so that is what I'm going to do."

Colgate flared her horn up in anger and yelled, "Very well then, I want your shit out of my house by the end of the day and don't expect to have a job on Monday either. I'll hire somepony whose mind isn't poisoned by love, especially love for an undesirable bitch!" She then noticed that everypony was staring at her in shock causing her to finish, "What the fuck do you think you're looking at?"

Once she got back to going towards the palace she knew that she was going to have to calm down if she was going to enlist Starlight to help her. She knew that if she showed up still in a fury with that hateful glare in her eyes that there would be no way she would help her. She took a few deep breaths and sighed, "Alright Colgate, just calm down. Calm down and everything will be fine."

Once Colgate got closer to the palace, she realized something. She realized that Starlight simply wasn't going to cast the spell for her, she knew that she would have to con Starlight into teaching her the spell. She sighed, "Alright, I may not be able to do this today but if I can eventually learn the spell, I can do this. Now to see if she'll help me."

When Colgate got fairly close to the castle, she saw something that would make her very happy. She noticed that not only was Twilight and Spike headed towards the train station, so were Starlight and the rest of their friends. When she noticed that they had a lot of luggage she said to herself, "This is sweet, they might be gone for several days. Now just to break in and study enough I can do this."

Colgate noticed that the train was likely going to be headed to the Crystal Empire and this made her happier. She continued her thoughts, "She's going up to see Cadence, Shining Armor and Flurry Heart so now I know they're going to be gone for a while. Once that train is gone, I'm heading in."

Once they got on the train and it pulled out of the station, she looked around and noticed that nopony was even looking her way and would be elated when she easily cast a spell to unlock the castle door and head in. Once she got inside, she looked back and noticed that Twilight had a regular lock on the door, a door that any unicorn with at least average power could unlock. She laughed, "Damn Twily, you don't even secure your door? How foolish, overly trusting and naïve!"

After casting the lock spell, she began to wander around the castle, looking for the library. She had never been in Twilight's castle before so it took her a while to find the library. Once she finally found it she said to herself, "Ok, time to find Starlight's time travel spell, learn it, cast it and go wipe out this nasty holiday!"

She began digging through things and was not finding a trace of the spell. She did come across some books, books that included Starswirl's old time spell but not a trace of Starlight's spell. She then realized that chances were they destroyed Starlight's version of the spell so that she wouldn't be tempted to use it again and maybe alter things in a way that it would benefit her.

Ultimately she gave up looking for the advanced spell and started going over Starswirl's spell. She sighed in disgust as she read through it, "No wonder this could only take you back a week and you could only stay there for not even a minute, it is so damn simple." She threw her hooves up in the air and yelled, "Damn it, now I have to write my own magic and who knows how fucking long that is going to take!"

She saw a nearby table with a quill and some table and figured that she could write it down on there. She then noticed something on the table, a book about the history of Hearts and Hooves Day. She smiled a bit and noticed that it had a book mark in it. She opened it up to the bookmark and it opened up to the very part she would need, the history of the holiday. What she read shocked her, she learned that Princess Cadence had absolutely nothing to do with the holiday, she learned that it was older than Equestria itself was.

She then realized something, she realized that the spell she was going to have to write would have to be extremely powerful to create and be difficult to cast. She then sighed, "Ok but where the hell did this happen? I have to know exactly where and when it happened."

As she continued to read, she also learned what all happened afterwards but most importantly, where and when it happened. "Ok, February 14 in the year 1732 of the pre-Celestia era forty miles east of modern day Canterlot." Her eyes lit up as she gasped, "Wait a minute, that is right here where Ponyville is! All I have to do is cast the spell, kill them and it will be mission accomplished!"

Then came the most important part, writing a spell. She stood there tapping the quill on the paper until the words suddenly came to her, almost as if some sort of force gave them to her,

"Round and round the world has turned for ages
Time is the unstoppable force for even the great mages,
Long gone are the days when times were great
For they have been destroyed my much hate.

The days of old long ago ended their turn,
Yet to those I must return.
As I go the visions of the past I must see,
So I will know where I must be.

She then smiled, "Alright, if this works, I can take care of this problem." She then got a bigger smile on her face, "And not only can I destroy this cursed holiday but since they met on that day, I can prevent Lyra from ever hooking up with Bon Bon! It will be a win-win!"
