Not Welcomed Different Pony

Sumptuous and his new team was on patrol but he wondered on how Purple's doing where he hopes Purple is having a nice time home but he kept his head up but his wings tied so he can't fly away again.

In a open area they captured a enemy scout where they asked him on where his friends are where he pointed a hoof to the mountain behind them and told them that this is the base camp for 20000 ponies.

Same ponies that wiped out those green horns and gave Purple his million dollar wound and there notorious of showing no mercy to Equestrian's so the squad leader radioed for reinforcements but they would have to hold on throughout the night.

Throughout the night it was brutal where they needed reinforcements.

He seen the blast of something soaring where in a fox hole 2 ponies got blasted out where he just said "Damn that's fucked up!" he said on what he witnessed but he fired his M16A1 styled rifle at anything that moved.

At sunrise there were 10 ponies now there only 3 remaining and there just hanging on by a thread where there reinforcements arrived where they asked if there still there where he stuck his hoof out of the ground.

He only seen 400 friendly ponies against an enemy size of 20000 he wished it was 2 divisions to back them up but there already spread thin as it is where of them being there is leaving gaps in there lines.

He and another pony were told that the only reason the Sergeant is a hard ass where back during the beginning days of the war he was a Captain where he risked his life to save 119 ponies and wait for reinforcements those reinforcements never arrived.

He gotten 119 ponies killed and how he escaped any pony can guess where he doesn't know but too afraid to ask but hated with the mare where she had her plot in his face and didn't help that she would toot in his face.

Soon gunfire flew by there head where they all ducked for the ground where they had to fight back but the assault they were given nearly broke them where they were nearly overran all around them.

The pony that was leading them she used her walkie talkie and said a special phrase where back at the Outpost a pony said "Shattered Spear?".

Another pony said "It means a pony unit is about to be overrun it calls in every avabile combat aircraft to assist them." said the other pony on what it means.

It took some time but friendly jets came where they strafed the battlefield with there .50 Caliber machine guns, dropped 8 150 pound bombs, 4 250 pound bombs, 2 500 pound bombs or 1 1000 pound bombs not adding napalm bombs.

It was a danger close mission too where some of the bombs that were dropped too close for comfort where he said "I never thought i would get killed by my own damn airforce!" he said on how close the bombs were being dropped.

They broke the enemy assault where they slacked up a bit to regroup for another assault where the Equestrian's won't use air power during the night nor use artillery where they need rest.

He seen the most horrific thing in his life of seeing ponies on his own side get burned alive by there own air force napalm that's burning off there uniform and burning there hides off.

He trotted out there where he used his wings to pick up the mare he likes the same one that tooted in his face multiple times but her skin peeled off where he could feel the bone through his wings.

He placed her onto a chopper to be flown back to base but he dropped his M16A1 styled rifle and took out an camera he has to take pictures of the battle where too him that pictures speak louder then words.

He wants to show the ponies back home on what there going through photos but too him it won't change anything there going to be treated badly anyway on why Purple didn't take any photos where it's not going to change anything.

He wiped sweat off of his face where he just wants to go home but he doesn't know on how badly there being treated back home but during the lull in the enemy attack he took a sip of water in his canteen which he's out of water.

He opened Purple's letter saying on how miserable he is back home he can't enter a place without being thrown out.

Purple also told him via letter on how bad it is to be a war vet back home but several days ago he tried to off himself several times but Blue Sapphire saved him and he went to the college she goes to and told her class on how it is.

He also pointed out even though he talked about his expierence over there he was still called "Foal Killer, "Monster", "Psychopath", "Sociopath", and "War Monger." he said on what he been called back home.

He also told his friend that getting a job is impossible and they been judged then got to get known.

They then chased the battered enemy forces down where he used his bayonet on the edge of his rifle and stabbed them where they secured one area where he told the Sergeant that area's secure.

He overlooked the field where he seen dead ponies from both sides laying in the field dead, torn up or burned by napalm where he started to sob quietly of seeing ponies young as 17 dead on the field.

Lt Velvet Ruby she told him it's alright where it'll be fine where he can have life back home.

He told her that back home there not being treated as equals where there being treated badly where death might be the better choice over here.

They were flown out where back in the barracks Scrumptous opened a letter from home where it's from mom where she's sick so with permission he was sent home to find out he's late.

At the graveyard he told his mom to sleep tight where he'll be joining her one day so he went home where he knocked on the door but heard a gunshot so he busted in too see his father laying on the couch.

He seen a gunshot wound in his head where his father commit suicide where since the 8th grade he and his wife were together as a boyfriend and girlfriend then were married in the 11th grade.

He told his friend on what happened to his father where Purple told him that he'll be there soon then he hung up and Purple scared him when he teleported right behind him.

He asked Purple if he wants a job where Purple told him yes where well he inherited his father's store and will be working there.

At the store he opened it up where the 2 worked there but Purple told him thanks for helping this vet.

His pal told him that they need to stick together where no pony will help them they need to look out for each other where they both agreed on what Scrumptous said that they need to look out for each other.
