It was a usual summers day, the sun was shining, the birds where tweeting and the streets of ponyville were full of life. Everypony had somewhere to be, all except a certain rainbow maned pony, who was relaxing on a cloud, taking her usual nap. Unbeknown to her, her day was about to take a turn for the worst.

A purple pegasus pony, also known as Cloud Kicker, had been charged with clearing all the clouds by her temporary boss, Ditzy Do. Without taking a seconnd looking, Cloud Kicker struck the cloud in which  Rainbow was dozing on.

Dash fell through a cloud below her, dazily waking her enough to see herself hurtling towards the ground below. Her eyes widened and she flared her wings, but she only managed to slow herself down by a small amount. Before she could even scream, her face contacted with a rock and she was rendered unconscious.

Above, Cloud kicker heard Dash's scream of terror. She looked down in time to see Dash's face smash into a rock and her body go limp. She gasped and quickly flew down to the comatose pony, as a small trickle of blood began to run into the ground. CK placed a hoof on Dash's neck and checked for a pulse. She sighed in relief when she felt one, though It was weak.

Cloud Kicker gently lifted the unconscious pony onto her back, spread her wings and took off to the hospital, as fast as her wings could carry her.

When she arrived, she burst through the hospital doors, causing the dozing receptionist to fall out of her seat and land on the floor.

"We got a pony down here!" the purple pegasus shouted, running over to the reception desk and looking down at the dazed nurse behind it. "Can you get off your lazy flank and get a doctor!?" she shouted again, making the pure white pony scramble to her hooves.

"What's happened?" the receptionist asked, climbing back into her chair and pulling out a peice of paper.

"She faceplanted into a rock, by accident, and she's kind of...unconcious," Cloud Kicker explained, pointing to the, limp, sky blue mare on her back, whoes head continued to drop small amounts of blood.

"How did she hit a rock so hard it knocked her unconcious 'by accident'?" The nurse enquired, raising her eyebrow at the pony before her.

"Okay i may have knocked her off a cloud when she was sleeping, but it was completely by accident I swear!" The gold maned pony confessed, a sheepish smile on her face. The nurse gave her a bemused look before ringing a small bell, calling a gurney, a group of nurses and a doctor to be called not the room. The nurse placed Rainbow Dash onto the gurney and pushed her back through the doors in which they had come from. The doctor stopped and looked over at Cloud Kicker.

"Hey aren't you due in for a flu jab in a few days?" The doctor asked with a smirk, writing something down onto a clipboard. Clock kicker eyes widened and she began backing out of the hospital doors, a forced smile on her face.

"Y-you must have me confused with s-some other pony, BYE!" CK turned tail and ran out the doors, leaving a small cloud of dust in her wake. The doctor burst out laughing. "Gets them everytime!"

Several hours later....

Rainbow Dash's eyes cracked open slightly, she winced at the harsh light of the room and closed them again. She opened her eyes fully and let them adjust. she looked around the room and saw nothing but white, with the occasional green, around her. It looked as though she was in a room, in a bed, in a building she didn't recognise. She though back to see if she could remember anything on how she had ended up in the boring room.

Nothing, she couldn't remember anything, not even her name. Her eyes widened and she tried to sit up, but stopped when she was hit by a splitting headache and an aching rib. She winced again, cupping her head into her hooves. She tried to remember something, anything! But her mind was blank. She could feel the whispers of some foriegn yet firmiliar voice, soothing and compassionate, but she couldn't put a face nor name to it. She could barely make out the voice itself.

"Ah look you're awake! how're you feeling?" a voice broke the silence, Dash looked up from her hooves and saw a white earth pony mare. She had a pink mane a hat with a small red cross on it, on her flank was also a red cross and she had a silver trolley in front of her, carrying really unappetising tray of food.

"Uh....good? I dunno...." Dash groaned, laying back onto the uncomfortable mattress, mincing as her head connected with the pillow. "Do you know how I ended up here? Or anything about me?" Dash asked with a hopeful look in her eyes.

"I believe you was sleeping on a cloud and somepony knocked you off of it, you suffered a bruised rib and a fracture to your skull, can you tell me your name?" the white mare asked, picking up a chart from the end of the bed.

"I-I dunno, I can't remember..." Dash closed her eyes and sighed 'If she has to ask for my name, she probably doesn't know it, so I guess there's no point asking...'

"*sigh* I was afraid of this, Miss Dash, I believe you may have suffered some minor brain damage due to the fracture. This may have resulted in your current state of Amnesia. Tell me, how much can you remember?" The pink maned pony asked, getting a pen out from the top of the clipboard and putting it n her teeth.

"A-A voice, it sounds caring, but I can't remember who it belongs to or where I've heard it before..." Dash looked up at the pony as she wrote something onto the clipboard.

"Is there anymore dear?" the white mare asked around the pen in her mouth. "Is there anything else you can remember? Age? Family? Friends?"

"No...." Dash whispered softly, looking away as a small tear of sadness fell from her eye.

"I see, well I could tell you your name if you'd like," Dash nodded, looking back at the pony in front of her. "It's Rainbow Dash, your twenty one years old and you've had many hospital visits before...." the mare chuckled a bit before going silent. "OH! I almost forgot! I brought you some food, I know it's pretty disgusting but it's the only thing that they allow you to eat, I figured you'd be hungry when you woke up." as if on cue, Rainbows stomach grumbled.

The white pony placed the tray of food onto the small cabinet next to Rainbows bed, she then turned to leave.

"WAIT! I never got your name..." Rainbow said, looking at the white pony expectantly. The pony smiled, looking back as she exited the door. "My names nurse Redheart." With that the door closed, leaving Dash to her thoughts.
