Season 1: Prologue - Reversed Roles
A white Unicorn filly was playing with her sister who was a dark blue pegasus. The Pegasus was known as Luna and the Unicorn was known as Celestia. Never once did the fact that the two were born of separate Pony Races ever bother them. Rather, they managed to find a way to play with each other that allowed their two separate species to mix. These two ponies lived in Canterlot, and lived amongst high society. And despite most of high society being Unicorns, because of Celestia's way of helping Luna fit in despite her sister being a Pegasus, has changed public view on that front.
However, this would be the last full week the two sisters would get to play with one another.
"I'm really going to miss our games sis." Celestia said. "And as much as I don't like to see you go, I know you can't keep being around a city with no flight school." She added.
"It's fine sis. I had a feeling this day would come. But I'll make sure to write every day if I can." Luna said to her sister with a smile.
"Yeah. That sounds good." Celestia said back.
"You just make sure to ace your entrance exam into Princess Twilight's School for Gifted Unicorns alright?" Luna asked.
"Princess Twilight..." Celestia said, voice barely above a whisper.
While there was the High Court; a group of five ponies who were elected by the general populace; there was also the sole ruler of Equestria: Princess Twilight Sparkle. From what Celestia and Luna know, years before they were born the three tribes of ponies once hated each other's guts so much, it brought forth the beings known as The Wendigos. However, when the three tribes finally settled their differences, it vanquished the Wendigos from the land and Equestria was established. It was after this when Princess Twilight Sparkle first appeared. It was said she defeated a malevolent spirit of chaos known as Discord who set about to ruin the newly formed Equestria but then Princess Twilight struck him down and imprisoned him. After this, the ponies looked to her for guidance. Not wanting to distance herself from her new subjects, the first thing the Princess did was ask the ponies to elect five ponies to best represent them. This when the High Court was first formed. While Princess Twilight would rule the lands and help guide her people, the High Court would be the ones to make sure that the position of power that Twilight was in was not misused. As such, the High Court was seen as a way to balance the way the new country would be run.
So far, every decision Princess Twilight has run through the High Court is one that benifits many ponies as possible. Such as the creation of the flight school Luna will be going to that will help pegasus fly better. Or the school that helps Earth Ponies better connect with the ground itself as they too have their own tribal magic. There's even the school Twilight runs out of canterlot that was created to help young unicorns who showcase magic beyond the scope of normalcy learn to better control and grow their powers.
That last one was the one Luna just mentioned: Princess Twilight's School for Gifted Unicorns. It's a prestige school that only a handful of unicorns every year get to attend.
"I know you'll ace the entrance exam, sis. I believe in you." Luna said.
"Luna? Are you ready to go?" The mother of the two sisters called out.
"I'll be right there mom." Luna said back. "...Just promise me we'll see each other again okay?" She asked.
"It's a promise." Celestia said. Luna smiled and flew off.
"I do hope you two will be able to fulfill your promise." Celestia's father said before he put a saddle bag on his daughter. "I'd hate for you two to ever be split up forever." He added.
"I know dad. Trust me, I know." Celestia said. She and her father soon went to Princess Twillight's Castle which was also the home to Princess Twilight's School for Gifted Unicorns.
Celestia was in awe. Everything here was like out of a dream. She and her father soon arrived at the front desk where a blue mare greeted them.
"Hello. My name is Trixe Lunamoon. I'm the one checking everypony in for the entrance exam. Please state your child's name so I can look it up." The Blue Mare said.
"It's Celestia." Celestia's Father said.
"Celestia...Celestia...Celestia..." Trixie said. "...Hmm...sorry, I don't see her name on the list." She said.
"But...but that can't be right..." Celestia said. "Here...I have the letter from the school." She added, handing over the letter which did have the official seal of approval from the High Court on it.
"...Hmm...this does look legit." Trixie said. Suddenly a big purple dragon with green scales came in.
"Hey Trixie, Twilight has an updated list of attendees that was supposed to be given to you yesterday morning but the staff forgot to send it to you." The Dragon said before handing Trixie a slightly bigger list then the one she had.
"Figures. Knowing her highness, she's already taken care of giving the person who was supposed to take care of that a verbal lashing." Trixie said. "Oh well...I can't fault Twilight for just doing her job." She said.
"Err...pardon me..." Celestia said. "But you both talk like your friends with Princess Twilight or something..." She added.
"That's because we are." Trixie said.
"Oh..." Celestia simply stated.
"Oh hey, and what do you know? The updated list DOES have your name on it Celestia. So I guess since your the first one here, you can go right ahead." Trixie said.
"Thanks Miss Lunamoon." Celestia said, smiling and went off with her father.
"...I just have the strangest feeling about that filly..." Trixie said.
"Me too." The Dragon said and went off after Celestia and her father.
Celestia and her father were soon in a very large testing area.
"Whoa...this place is awesome." Celestia said.
"Hmm? You don't look all that gifted to me." One of the judges noted.
"You haven't seen what I can do yet!" Celestia commented.
"Perhaps, but I wouldn't be surprised if you don't even get in." The same judge said. "Bring in the Pheonix Egg." He said before a red egg with a flame design on it was brought in.
"Wait...what are you doing?!" The Dragon exclaimed.
"Please. If she's really gifted she can hatch this thing easy." The same judge kept saying.
"You do realize that if you fail one more gifted unicorn with this stupid egg that no one has been able to hatch yet, your going to be fired." The Dragon exclaimed.
"So? If she can't hatch it, she doesn't deserve to be here." The same judge said.
"Blueblood, this is your final warning: Use a different test or else." The Dragon said, looking angerily at the judge who kept this act up.
"I just have to hatch the egg right?" Celestia asked.
"Um...come again?" The Dragon asked.
"The egg...I just have to hatch it right?" Celestia asked.
"No pony has been able to hatch it." The Dragon said.
"Dragon, what's your name?" Celestia asked.
"It's Spike." The Dragon said.
"Well Mister Spike, my sister and I have a saying..." Celestia turned her attention to the Phoenix Egg. "...There's a first time for everything." She added before she started unleashing her magic as much as she could on the Egg.
"Wait, what are you doing?!" Spike exclaimed. Celestia said nothing, her focus solely on the egg in front of her. She would not fail this test. Not on her life.
...An hour passed, and Celestia was wearing out from pouring so much magic onto a single target.
"Damn...that's one...tough egg...to crack..." Celestia said, winded.
"This is aburd! Everyone knows Pheonix Eggs are incredibly resistant to magic! And what's more, there's no way a child could ever hope to hatch one let alone a unicorn! Only an Alicorn could ever hope to hatch a Pheonix Egg. What kind of school are you running here?!" Celestia's Father said.
Suddenly there was a loud BOOM! sound before a magical rainbow scattered and Suddenly Celestia found her magic working overtime before it hatched the egg, turned the judges and her father into various objects. Only Spike seemed to be spared from her magic's wrath. Suddenly however, Celestia passed out, spent. But then everything besides the hatching of the egg was undone.
"Twilight, thank god your here!" Spike said.
"Sorry I was running late. Moondancer wanted to chat about her upcoming birthday party. As a member of the High Court, I decided that her party would be held here at the castle. Plus, she is a very close friend of mine." Princess Twilight said, as she entered the room.
"P-Princess Twilight..." Celestia said as she came too.
"At ease, young Celestia." Princess Twilight said. Suddenly a young hatchling Pheonix soon circled over Celestia.
"I...I did it?" Celestia asked.
"Yes. You did. However, while you may be getting off the hook considering your magic went out of your control, another unicorn is not going to be so lucky" Princess Twilight said before Blueblood was envoloped in her magic. Soon five more ponies entered the room. Amongst them were two unicorns, a pegasus, and an Earth Pony. One of unicorns Celestia knew as Starlight Glimmer but the others she had no knowledge of. She only knew of Starlight Glimmer as Starlight Glimmer is known for creating Our Town which formed during Discord's time as a way for ponies to protect one another in a village.
"Gee, no wonder no pony voted you in my place huh Blueblood?" The other unicorn said.
"You...you just got lucky!" Blueblood said as he was brought forth the princess and the High Concil.
"I highly doubt that, Blueblood. We of the High Council thought that revoking your royal status that you had as result of you being Princess Twilight Sparkle's Second Cousin Twice Removed was enough of a warning to you, Blueblood." Starlight Glimmer said.
"Yet despite that, time and time again, we have had many failures in the entrance exam as of late ever since you've been appointed judge. Princess Twilight's School for Gifted Unicorns can't keep itself afloat if year after year, no one is able to get in." The Pegasus said.
"As such, all Princess Twilight has to do now is give the word, and it's off to Tartarus for you until you've decided to shape up." The Earth Pony said.
"! No! Anything but that! Anything but Tartarus!" Blueblood said.
"Tartarus is going a bit too far. So, I'll give you one last chance: I want you...to run away. Run away from Equestria and never return." Princess Twilight said.
"Wh-what?!" Blueblood said.
"If the high concil will agree, I hearby exile you from Equestria, ex-prince Blueblood." Princess Twilight said. "Of course, if you don't like that, there is still the option of Tartarus. Take your pick." Princess Twilight said.
"! I'll leave. I promise I'll leave! I'll leave and never return! Honest!" Blueblood said.
"Don't make me regret this." Princess Twilight said and let Blueblood go who left the building without a second thought.
"Um...Princess?" Celestia's father spoke up. "What was...that about?" He asked.
"Me doing my job. Moondancer, given the circumstances, would you mind taking over as the third judge for the rest of the applicants this year?" Princess Twilight said to the unicorn Celestia didn't recognize.
"Of course Twilight. It'd be my pleasure." Moondancer said.
"So...does this mean I'm in the school?" Celestia said, finally able to get up.
"Yes. But there's something else you should be aware of." Princess Twilight said, and pointed to Celestia's Flank. The unicorn gasped when she saw what was there.
"MY CUTIE MARK! I ACTUALLY HAVE MY CUTIE MARK!" Celestia said.
"Indeed you do." Princess Twilight said.

Season 1: Prologue Extra - That Night...
Princess Twilight looked up into the night sky on the same day Celestia passed her entrance exam; specifically at the moon which had an alircorn's face placed onto it. She sighed heavily.
"It will be a few years still, but I hope things work out." Princess Twilight said.
"You still miss her, don't you?" The Pegasus asked.
"But of course I do. And I hope when she returns, we can be one again. Especially after she is brought back to normal." Princess Twilight turned to the Pegasus.
"So, you really believe that the ones who will inherit the elements of Harmony outside of that very specific one currently reside in Ponyville huh Twilight?" The Pegasus asked.
"Only three of them reside there right now; the other two will join them shortly." Princess Twilight said. "You do know of Ponyville and don't lie to me about it: You live there despite being captain of the Wonderbolts." She added.
"Yeah. It's kind of weird for me to be on the High Council. If you ask me, my best friend Fluttershy should've been chosen over me. At least she wouldn't have Wonderbolt duties to take care of on top of that." Rainbow Dash said.
"Even though she was your best friend, she still ran against you for your position. Though from what she did tell me, she only did so because she wanted to represent animals on top of ponies." Princess Twilight said.
"Fluttershy's always been like that. So, of those that are down there, who are the three your thinking of?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"If I had to guess..." Princess Twilight said before she took out a few photos. "...I would guess these ponies." She added. Rainbow Dash took a good hard look at the three ponies presented to her.
"Err...no offense Twilight but these look like grown up versions of three fillies that I know about. You know, being from Ponyville and all." Rainbow Dash said.
"This is what I imagine them to look like more or less when she leaves her banishment from the moon." Princess Twilight said.
"Your lover and fellow ruler, Princess Sunset Shimmer, right?" Rainbow Dash asked. "You know, normally I'd judge you for wanting to plan ahead but...what makes you so sure she'll be good?" She asked.
"...Because the elements will return her to how she used to be. I know they will." Princess Twilight said. "She let jealousy about my popularity get to her. I am hoping that the elements when used by those who aren't acting out of a rash decision cleanse her of the hate she felt towards me." She added.
"And then we can have a 'welcome back' party for her!" Suddenly a new earth mare showed up.
"PINKIE!" Rainbow Dash yelled a bit.
"Sorry, I just couldn't help myself." The pink earth mare said, smiling.
"Never change Pinkie Pie. Even if your not on the High Concil, you and several others are still my friends none the less." Princess Twilight said. "By the way, did you bring the future photos I asked for about the other two I suspect to have the other two elements of the five that aren't so specific?" She asked Pinkie Pie.
"You bet your sweet Canterlot bippies I did!" Pinkie Pie said.
"...Her sweet Canterlot Bippies?" Rainbow Dash asked. "Pinkie Pie you are SO random..." She added before Pinkie Pie showed off the two new photos.
Rainbow Dash took the picture of the yellow pegasus.
"...Huh...whose this gal? I recognize the other one because she's Celestia's Sister; I checked the records; but this one? I've never seen her before." Rainbow Dash said.
"That would be Spitfire. She's a Pegasus out of Cloudsdale. I don't know what her life goal is yet, but I have found her to be quite driven at whatever she puts her mind to." Twilight said.
"I'll have to keep a special eye out for her. Something tells me she could make for a really good Wonderbolt someday." Rainbow Dash said.
"Twilight, are you three going to bed soon?" A white unicorn called from the doorway.
"Ah yes. I suppose it's time to turn in for the day. Thank you for reminding me, Rarity." Twilight said.
"It's no problem at all dear." Rarity said.

Season 1: Episode 1 - Her First Day
Celestia was taken in as Twilight's personal student after her whole entrance exam moment. The white unicorn left her room; the pheonix that she hatched from the egg at her entrance exam flying over her.
Celestia soon encountered an orange earth Pony outside her door.
"Howdy there, sugarcube." The Earth Pony said.
"I remember you; your that earth pony that's on the High Council." Celestia said.
"Glad ta see yer memory's intact. Ma name's Applejack. It's nice to meet ya." Applejack said.
"It's um...nice to meet you too.” Celestia said.
"Twilight wanted me to help you through finding yer way around yer first few days at her school. She doesn't want ya getting lost around here after all." Applejack said.
"That's nice of her." Celestia said. Applejack was true to her words and helped Celestia into her first class where she was assigned a seat next to a rather pink-ish unicorn.
"Hi. My name is Luster Dawn." Luster Dawn said to Celestia.
"Err...hi there." Celestia said. "Sorry, I'm a bit nervous around ponies that are new to me." She added.
"That's okay." Luster Dawn said. Moondancer from the High Council entered.
"Hey, why is a High Council Member teaching this class on Magic History?" One of the female students asked.
"I'll have you know that we High Council Members do have a day job. Otherwise, we would never be able to continue representing the common pony." Moondancer said.
"Duh!" Luster Dawn said. "Anyone could've guessed that." She added.
"That's a bit...rude..." Celestia said.
"Agreed. Luster Dawn, please refrain from saying things like that." Moondancer said. Luster growled a bit but shrugged it off. She supposed she did come off as a bit rude without meaning to do so.
"Now then, I know it's a bit sudden on everyone first day, but for a pop quiz question, can someone tell me the names of the five mares who helped Princess Twilight establish the high council?" Moondancer asked.
"I know!" Luster Dawn spoke up. Celestia didn't know the answer.
"Okay Luster Dawn, what are their names, professions, and pony race?" Moondancer asked.
"Their names are Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Applejack, and Pinkie Pie. Rarity makes Princess Twilight's various royal dresses, Rainbow Dash is the current Captain of the Wonderbolts, Fluttershy owns an Animal Sanctuary, Applejack signs off on the produce sold at the Canterlot Markets, and Pinkie Pie organizes the Grand Galloping Gala each year. As for their races, Rarity is a Unicorn, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy are Pegasi, and Applejack and Pinkie Pie are Earth Ponies." Luster Dawn said.
"Very well done Luster Dawn. Your very well studied." Moondancer said.
"But of course I am. I am the favorite to become a student of Princess Twilight's someday." Luster Dawn said.
"Please no boasting in the classroom, Luster Dawn." Moondancer said. Luster Dawn sighed. "As Luster Dawn has stated, those five ponies helped establish the High Council, but only two of those ponies actually serve on it. Can someone tell me which two?" Moondancer asked.
"I know this one! It's Rainbow Dash and Applejack right?" The female unicorn from before said.
"That's correct. Despite the others helping Princess Twilight create the High Council, only Rainbow Dash and Applejack were chosen to help represent common ponies. While Fluttershy did vie for a spot, she didn't make it past the primary voting stage and thus what would've been her spot went to Rainbow Dash instead." Moondancer explained.
"Wait Fluttershy didn't make it past the primary vote?!" Luster Dawn exclaimed, as if this was news to her.
"Well yes. I thought that was common knowledge?" Moondancer said, though was confused at Luster Dawn's reaction.
"But...but my mom voted for..." Luster Dawn said. "N-no!" She said and stormed out of the classroom.
"...Oh dear." Celestia said.
"Not to worry; Shining Armor will bring her back here shortly." Moondancer said. Sure enough, a white Unicorn royal guard soon brought in Luster Dawn who was in his magic.
"Someone tried to leave their first class huh?" the Stallion in question asked.
"Luster Dawn, why did you react so badly to the news Fluttershy lost the primary vote?" Moondancer asked. Luster Dawn wouldn't answer. "Luster Dawn, if you won't tell me the truth, I will have no choice but to give you detention." Moondancer warned.
"Alright alright I'll tell you! My mother voted for Fluttershy." Luster Dawn said.
"No one is ever happy that the one they were rooting for loses so badly. But that's the way things happen I'm afraid." Moondancer said. "I will be reporting your little stunt to Twilight Sparkle all the same." She added.
"No! Please no! I'll do extra credit if you don't do that." Luster Dawn said.
"Well...I suppose this was only your first actual incident. I suppose I can overlook this this one time. So long as you go the rest of the day without any further incidents. Got that?" Moondancer asked.
"Got it..." Luster Dawn said.
Luster Dawn took Moondancer's word to heart and had no further incidents that day so Princess Twilight was never told by Moondancer about her little incident.
Unfortunatly, Luster Dawn forgot about Shining Armor.
"...I see. Thank you for telling me. I will keep this in mind for later." Princess Twilight told Shining Armor.
"...You still miss her, right?" Shining Armor asked.
"Of course I do Captain; she was the love of my life." Twilight said.
"Please big sis, you don't have to be like that...not around your baby brother." Shining Armor said.
"Sorry. I sometimes forget we're alone when I talk with you." Princess Twilight said. "Hard to believe you were born not too long after I defeated Discord. Shame about mother and father though." She added.
"Are you sure you did the right thing regarding Discord?" Shining Armor asked.
"I did. And I don't regret it." Twilight said. "Besides, Sunset agreed." She added.
"I see. I'll be back on my rounds then." Shining Armor said and left.
"...I know your listening to this. I do hope that wasn't your handiwork." Twilight said now that she was alone.
"Now Princess Twilight Sparkle, you should know I've been doing well with the whole controlled chaos thing." A male voice spoke up.
"So if you didn't cause Luster Dawn's reaction...you mean to tell me she was genuinely upset?" Princess Twilight asked.
"Right on the money your highness. So, what are you planning to do with that information?" The voice answered back.
"I will keep in mind in case this doesn't become an isolated incident. Luster Dawn is a hopeful as a second student. But if she has too many of these, I will have no choice but to drop her from the school." Princess Twilight said. A mysterious new figure appeared in the room.
"Well I will keep an eye out as well for further incidents. Especially the ones that can fly under the radar of your teachers, your students, and your guards. Consider this a way of saying that I am sorry for what happened with your parents. I wish I knew..." The figure said.
"What happened to them was not your fault. Your magic may have let it happen, but you can't be held responsible for an accident like that." Princess Twilight said. "So even though your magic made it possible to have happen, you had no hand in what actually happened, Discord." She said.
"Still, I won't rest until I feel like I've made up for my magic having been the cause of what happened. It's my way of saying that I am sorry. I never meant to hurt anyone." Discord said.
"I know." Twilight said.
Author's Note
So in case it wasn't too obvious, those who were parents of the main 6 are fillies right now. On top of this, you may have already noticed in the prologue's extra chapter, Rainbow Dash is the captain of the wonderbolts while Spitfire is still just a filly. Additionally, the one who Luster Dawn replaces is not Moondancer despite this initial encounter between her and Celestia. You'll see what role she plays a bit later on. Additionally, the rest of the main 6 do not retain their roles as the elements, but a new main 6 will include the mothers of Rarity and Applejack while also including Mrs. Cake as Pinkie Pie's replacement. While the parents of the rest of the main 6 will still be making an appearance later as non-married mares, to better "mirror" the roles from the original timeline, Spitfire has taken Rainbow Dash's place as the Element of Loyalty while Luna will be Kindness. I know Luna is a stretch technically, but it was the only way to go about including Luna as a part of the main 6 without adding an entirely different element of Harmony. Besides, in case it wasn't obvious from the Prologue's Extra Episode, Spitfire is the one whose going to be the Wonderbolt hopeful of this story where roles are reversed.

Season 1: Episode 2 - A Letter and an Alicorn
"This is a rare occurrence..." Princess Twilight said as she addressed the class for today's Potion Class though it seems that the lesson for the day is being put off as Twilight does have a letter addressed to Celestia who was looking a bit nervous. "Normally it's students at the school that wish to send letters to others, but every now and again, we get a student receiving letters." Princess Twilight added.
"Guess somepony is lucky~" Luster Dawn teased Celestia.
"Is it really so rare, Princess?" Celestia asked.
"Trust me, Celestia, it is." Princess Twilight said and gave Celestia the letter. "If your willing to read this in class, I think we can save today's lesson for another time." Princess Twilight added.
"O-okay..." Celestia said and began reading.
To my sister Celestia,
You won't believe the first day I had a flight camp. As soon as I got there, there were these three Pegasi who were trying to bully me. But there was this yellow pegasus filly there about our age who wouldn't have it. So to get them to stop, she challenged those bullies to a race. In the middle of that race, she went so fast she caused a Sonic Rainboom. A SONIC RAINBOOOM! Trust me, if I wasn't there to see it for myself, I would've called whoever told me crazy. Thanks to that Sonic Rainboom, the filly; named Spitfire; won the race in a landslide. Since she was really nice to stand up to those bullies for a complete stranger, I introduced myself to her and she and I plan to bound while we're at flight camp.
I know your probably a few days in at classes by the time you get this. I really would like to know what's going on at your end when you can write back. But until then, I'll update you as much as I can about things here at Flight Camp. Oh, best part before I go: My flight camp roommate turned out to be none other then Spitfire. And frankly, I couldn't be happier about that. Spitfire also enjoyed that news too.

"Your sister is a Pegasus? How'd that happen?" Luster Dawn asked.
"Mom and dad aren't sure; we haven't really done the research." Celestia said.
"Well I can think of no better time to talk a little bit about Genealogy." Princess Twilight said.
"Err...is that the study of gems?" The same mare from yesterday asked.
"No Lucky Star, Genealogy is the study of one's family history. Your thinking of Gemology." Luster Dawn said.
"It's not my fault both of them start with the letter G!" Lucky Star argued.
"Then maybe you should study the difference!" Luster Dawn said.
"Back off of her, Luster Dawn!" Celestia said.
"Make me!" Luster Dawn said.
"Luster Dawn, please change seats with Lucky Star. Now." Princess Celestia said.
"...Tch. Fine." Luster Dawn said before she and Lucky Star switched places.
"Thanks for sticking up for me." Lucky Star said to Celestia said.
"I didn't want you both to get in trouble for arguing with each other..." Celestia admitted.
"Do I really have to be escorted by you?" A black creature said to a pink alicorn guiding it to through the castle.
"So long as your being escorted by an Alicorn, the guards won't attack you. Especially if that Alicorn is me." The Alicorn said. She lit her magic to enter the main throne room. There Shining Armor noticed them.
"Princess Cozy Glow, you've returned?" Shining Armor said.
"It's good to see you too, Captain Shining Armor." The Pink Alicorn said. "By the way, we're still on for that date later now that I'm back. You did promise." She whispered to Shining Armor. This caused the stallion to blush.
"P-Princess Twilight Sparkle will be arriving shortly." Shining Armor said. Suddenly Princess Twilight teleported into the room.
"Cozy Glow, it is very nice to see you. How goes everything on the war front?" Princess Twilight said.
"Everything is going smoothly; nothing to fear from forign invaders." Princess Cozy Glow said.
"Wait a second...your THAT Princess Cozy Glow?!" The black creature exclaimed. "The one they call the Warrior Princess?!" She added.
"If you've heard of me, that means I'm doing my job." Cozy Glow said.
"Changlings tell tales of your strength even in my hive..." The black creature said.
"Enough chit chat. Who are you and why did Cozy Glow bring you here? Answer honestly, and you will be allowed to leave in one piece." Princess Twilight announced.
Great. I had plans to take over Equestria but I can't face The Warrior Princess; not while there's a love shortage. Time for plan B. The changeling thought to herself. "My name is Chrysalis. I am the queen of the changeling hive located within the Badlands. Changelings require love to survive but recently there has been a love shortage. As such, we are very desperate for some kind substance." The Changeling Queen said.
"I see." Princess Twilight said.
"If it's okay with you, then as a representative of the Changelings, I would like to extend an olive branch: If you allow our kind to live alongside your ponies, then we will integrate without question." Chrysalis said.
"Denied." Princess Twilight said. "While you did indeed tell the truth about your hive and the love shortage, my truth detection spell shows that you are lying about integrating without question." She explained.
Crap...gotta fix this somehow... Chrysalis thought to herself. "Please reconsider. Like I've said, we are desperate. I'll sign a treaty, I'll do anything...I just don't want to see my people die..." She pleaded.
"...I see..." Twilight said. "Well as promised, you get to leave here in one piece." She added.
"But...what about my people? My own subjects?" Chrysalis asked.
"Three months. You will receive an answer to your pleas in three months." Princess Twilight said.
"Three Months?! I'm not sure if my hive will survive that long..." Chrysalis said.
"Of course there's also option B, to show that you are serious about signing a treaty." Princess Twilight said.
"What is...option B?" Chrysalis said.
"Appoint a new leader for your hive and step down from the throne; only then will I accept your proposal on the spot." Princess Twilight said.
"Changeling hives don't work like that..." Chrysalis admitted. "Only a Princess Changeling can acend to the throne, and right now, I have yet to...yet to lay..." Chrysalis gulped. "Princess Twilight my hive isn't just my subjects...my hive is made up of my children...my own children that I gave birth too." She added.
"That...is something you don't hear everyday..." Cozy Glow said.
"I am not just their queen, I am their mother. As such it would pain me to see any of them die. And with the love shortage being a thing right now...I don't know if I can lay a Changeling Egg that will contain a Princess Changeling inside." Chrysalis admitted.
"I see..." Princess Twilight said. "...Then do you swear that so long as you are on the throne, that there will not be an attack coming from your hive?" She asked.
"Anything...I will swear up and down to whatever you wish me to swear to...just please, let my children be spared..." Chrysalis said.
"Very well. I will ask the high council about their thoughts on this matter. Once we have come to a decision, we will send a messenger to you to let you know of the result of your pleas. Expect an answer within a week." Princess Twilight said.
"If you let my children mingle with your ponies, I will be forever in your debt." Chrysalis said as she left.
"Shining Armor, bring me the high council members. There is much I wish to discuss with them." Twilight said.
"Of course Twilight." Shining Armor said and left.
"So, what are you thinking?" Cozy Glow asked.
"While she may have lied a bit there, she is telling the truth: She will be forever in our debt if we agree to let ponies and changelings mingle. It's something to keep in mind." Princess Twilight said.
"Do you think she'll try something if she doesn't get what she wants?" Cozy Glow asked.
"If she does, then you know the rules: Take no prisoners." Princess Twilight said.
"Of course." Cozy Glow said.

So, as you can tell, Cozy Glow has taken over Cadence's role but not the same way as you may think. So what role will Cadence play? You'll see later on.

Season 1: Episode 3 - Falling Shorter
"I didn't realize this animal santurary was so close to the school." Luster Dawn said.
"Most don't Luster. Mostly because of the caretaker being very shy towards those she doesn't know very well." Lucky Star said.
"And how do YOU know that?" Luster asked. Before a yellow pegasus mare greeted them.
"Oh! Hi Lucky Star." The pegasus greeted Lucky Star.
"It's great to see you again, Miss Fluttershy." Lucky Star said.
"Wait you know her?" Luster Dawn asked.
"Is this Princess Twilight's class?" Fluttershy asked. "I was told you were going to be visiting today to learn about animal magic." She added.
"Yes it is Miss Fluttershy. And don't worry, I have confidence in you. Just do what comes natural." Lucky Star said.
"Quick question before that: How do you know Lucky Star?" Celestia asked Fluttershy.
"Lucky Star um...do you want to tell the story?" Fluttershy asked.
"Sure thing. I was walking by this area when I noticed there was a wounded animal nearby. I managed to get some special medical attention and return them. That's when I encountered Miss Fluttershy." Lucky Star said.
"I didn't think many other ponies cared for animals like I do. It was quite the surprise." Fluttershy said.
"Well I believe that animals can be just as vital to our society. After all, some ponies keep some animals as pets." Lucky Star said.
"Yes. It's what's known as a Mutualistic and Symbiotic Relationship; some animals just can't survive on their own in the wild. So it's great that Ponies adopt those species as pets." Fluttershy said.
"Bah! If those species can't survive in the wild, they deserve to die." Luster Dawn said.
"Luster Dawn, that's just mean." Celestia said.
"It's called survival of the fittest; in the animal kingdom, it's considered a dog-eat-dog world." Luster Dawn said.
"What was that?!" Fluttershy said, suddenly glaring at Luster Dawn intensely. "I'll have you know that some animals work with other animals in other Mutualistic and Symbiotic Relationships besides just us Ponies and the animals that can't survive in the wild! Often times, it's a predator type of animal and a pray type of animal working together in harmony like the three tribes of ponies do." Fluttershy said.
"That's right; and if I recall, a Predator Animal is one that often seeks out pray animals for food with Pray animals being mostly herbivories of some kind. But in some instances, there are predator animals that are bothered by something they suffer from in their day-to-day life but that something is something Pray Animals can eat for food. So, it becomes and easy relationship: So long as the pray animal helps the predator animal out with it's annoying trait, the predator animal will in turn protect the pray animal from other predators. Predator animals are also grouped into two sub catagories: Apex Predators and Normal Predators. An Apex Predator is essentially the top link in a food chain." Lucky Star said.
"That's right, and don't you forget it missy. I'll make sure Princess Twilight learns of this." Fluttershy said.
"Wait! Please don't! I'm sorry." Luster Dawn said.
"Don't you dare try and beg and plead with me missy. I don't take kindly to others making fun of animals in any way, shape, or, form!" Fluttershy said.
"Can't you just...I don't know...force me to help out at the santuary for a few days instead? I promise I'll be--" Luster tried saying.
"What did I say? Do not beg and plead with me!" Fluttershy said.
"Fluttershy may be shy, but if you get on her bad side, she will TEAR into you." Lucky Star said.
"And to make sure you learn your lesson, you will be getting duty here at the sanctuary on top of me telling Princess Twilight. Do I make myself clear?" Fluttershy asked.
"But Miss Fluttershy--" Luster Dawn said.
"DO. I. MAKE. MYSELF. CLEAR?!" Fluttershy yelled. Luster meeped.
"Yes ma'm..." Luster Dawn said, cowering in fear.
"I told you." Lucky Star said. "So much for miss perfect record." She added. Luster Dawn said nothing, but did glare a bit at Lucky Star for her comment.
"Now then, now that that little situation is settled...oh my..." Fluttershy noticed the time. "Seems it's time for lunch. Did anypony bring anything?" She asked.
"Err...I did...but..." Luster Dawn said. "On my way to school...this dog that one of my neighbors keep stole it from me...and I guess it upset me just...too much..." She added.
"Oh...oh I'm sorry. I'll be sure to have a nice chat with that dog later. But that still doesn't excuse what you said." Fluttershy said. Luster Dawn put on a questionable look.
"You can chat with a dog?" Luster Dawn asked.
"Yeah. For some reason, Fluttershy can actually understand animal tongue. Only pony I know who can do so." Lucky Star said. Luster Dawn's eyes went wide.
"That's...that's incredible..." Luster Dawn said. "I'd be willing to learn how to do that myself...if you'll teach me..." She said. "And...I am sorry for what I said..." She added.
"I don't know if I can teach you, but I will try. But no promises outside of that. Still, don't think your getting out of your punishment missy." Fluttershy stated.
"Wasn't even trying to that time!" Luster Dawn said.
"...Or preventing me from telling Princess Twilight." Fluttershy said.
"...Crap..." Luster Dawn said.
"Luster Dawn, please tell me this will be the last time I hear about you doing something bad." Princess Twilight said. "Of all the students here, you are in the front running to becoming my second personal student, but if this attitude of yours continues, I will dismiss you from the school entirely." She added.
"I just go so upset that that dog took my lunch from me is all. I can be better then this, I know I can." Luster Dawn said.
"For your sake, I hope you are telling the truth. As it stands now, your recent bad behavior is reason enough for me to consider putting you further down the list for my next personal student." Princess Twilight said.
"Please don't Princess...I promise I'll be good." Luster Dawn said.
"You better be. If you have another altercation like this again, I will have no choice but to lower your position on the list. With good behavior you might be able to squeeze in as my third personal student after that, but I do hope I don't have to do anything more drastic then lowering your position on the list of potential personal students." Princess Twilight said.
"I just have one question Princess Twilight...who got chosen as your first personal student?" Luster Dawn asked.
"If I tell you, do you promise not to react negatively." Princess Twilight said.
"If you don't tell me, I'll find out some other way. I can't promise anything then." Luster Dawn said. "But if the word comes from you, then I promise not to get upset." She said.
"Very well. It's Celestia." Twilight said.
"...I see..." Luster Dawn said and went to her room.
"Tch...who does that filly think she is? No matter..." Luster Dawn said. "It doesn't really matter in the end if I'm first or second. I'll still be the best. And once Princess Twilight recognizes that about me, she might even start me on the path to becoming the next Princess of Equestria. And little miss Celestia will be left in the dust." Luster Dawn said before she started to sing.

Luster Smiled as she laid down to rest, not even realizing she was spied on the entire time.
"Hmm..." A Male Voice said. It was Discord, disguised as Luster's nightlight.
"I see. Thank you for telling me this, Discord." Princess Twilight said.
"Think nothing of it. I did give you my word after all." Discord said.
"What do you make of that, big sis?" Shining Armor asked.
"It seems Luster Dawn doesn't understand what makes an Alicorn part of Royalty. Perhaps, I shall show her the mirror, and hope that that changes her mind. But if it doesn't..." Princess Twilight turned to the High Council. "...Are there any objections to me dropping Luster Dawn from the school?" She asked.
"I support this decision. Someone like that doesn't deserve to be here." Rainbow Dash said.
"Yeah. That kind of thinking is not something the people would support." Moondancer said.
"Do ya even have to ask me if I support yer decision Twi when Luster Dawn is talking like THAT?" Applejack asked.
"It's a formality, Applejack." Princess Twilight said.
"Twilight is right, Applejack. And I also have no objections." Starlight Glimmer said.
"Then it is decided: If Luster Dawn does not change her attitude after being shown the mirror, then she is to be expelled form this school without appeal." Princess Twilight sentanced.
...She had no idea that Luster Dawn would be nowhere to be found the next day.

Season 1: Episode 3 Extra - Luster's Leave
Luster Dawn finished packing her things. Where she was going, she wasn't planning on coming back. Not for a long, long time.
"Better to see the world beyond 'Princess' Twilight's Mirror, then under the role of a Princess who lied." Luster Dawn said as she fled to the mirror, managing to sneak past every late night guard before finally arriving at the mirror in question. "Here it is...the dimensional mirror..." Luster Dawn said, and approuched it.
"Luster Dawn, stop." Princess Twilight said. "If you use this mirror, there will be no coming back. Period. Not unless you can learn true friendship and the reason why alicorns are made royalty in the first place." She said.
"You shouldn't be allowed to judge me. I saw what I saw fifteen minutes ago: Discord was never imprisoned, he was allowed to roam free! And that makes the story you told to the media a lie." Luster Dawn said.
"Technically, he is imprisoned. Right now, as punishment for what he's done, the Elements were used to chain him to Canterlot Castle with only authorized areas outside the castle being allowed for him to see. At least he is imprisoned this way until he is no longer evil." Princess Twilight said. "So no, the story is not a lie. It just didn't tell everypony the fully story." She added.
"How do I know that isn't also a lie? Something your saying just to cover your own ass?" Luster Dawn countered.
"The truth is you don't, but the truth also is is that it's not a lie. Of course the truth is all you really have to go on is my word, and my word alone. Are you really going to make such a decision as being banished from equestria forever over a story that doesn't give out the full details and just assume that I am lying?" Princess Twilight asked.
"A princess is supposed to protect ponies from any evil. Discord should be in Tarturus, hell even turned to stone! Evil doers should never be forgiven." Luster Dawn said.
"Then, Luster Dawn, you fail to understand why Alicorns are made royalty in the first place." Twilight said.
"I'll show you royalty. I'll be back, and I'll have an army. And when I do, your paper thin lies will crumble and everyone will know the truth!" Luster Dawn said. "I'd rather live in exile then live somewhere where my own ruling monarch can't tell the full truth and nothing but the full truth." She said and jumped through the mirror.
"Luster..." Princess Twilight said. "...For your sake...I hope you repent and give up such a foolish endeavor." She added.
Author's Note
Yeah this should give it away now: Luster Dawn is the Sunset Shimmer of this reversed roles world. Since Luster Dawn was Twilight's own personal student at Canterlot in the time skip episode, I decided that to fill in Sunset's role as the "rude and academic genius that seeks the approval of the sole ruling monarch", I would use Luster Dawn. So if this seems very OoC for Luster Dawn...I have to ask how. Mostly because we only got the ONE episode with her in it.

Season 1: Episode 4 - The Next Day
"Where is Luster?" Celestia couldn't help but wonder.
"Patience everyone; Princess Twilight will have an announcement shortly." Moondancer said.
It's the day after Luster had left through the portal, but the only one who knew where she had vanished off to was Princess Twilight and the High Council. The High Council in particular was instructed to keep where Luster left to under wraps. Soon Princess Twilight entered the room.
"Please Princess...where is our dear Luster?" One of the unicorn mare nearby said. Celestia figured she was Luster's mother.
"I'm afraid I don't know. Last night after confronting her about her attitude towards Fluttershy and other students, Luster Dawn unfortunately fled from the castle. And I'm afraid, where she went after that is unknown." Princess Twilight said.
"Will she ever be allowed back in the school?" Luster Dawn's father asked.
"Considering how she was acting, unless she shapes her act up before coming back, I am afraid that Luster Dawn is unable to reenter the school unless she cleans up the way she was acting." Princess Twilight said.
"How bad could she have been?" Luster Dawn's mother asked.
"She ran out of class after learning of Miss Fluttershy's loss at the primaries for the slot Rainbow Dash got." Moondancer said.
"She also argued with her fellow student; Lucky Star; quite a few times too." Rainbow Dash said.
"It's true. I don't know why she would do that though." Lucky Star said.
"And to top it all off, she went off on Fluttershy about how animals should fend for themselves which as you know, is not very well tolerated with her." Princess Twilight said.
"I was going to punish her for the things she said. But...she ran off before I could do so." Fluttershy said.
"Oh dear..." Luster Dawn's Father said.
"Where did we go wrong with her?" Luster Dawn's Mother asked.
"It's not your fault. Do not blame yourselves." Princess Twilight said.
"With all due respect your highness, we can't help but feel that we failed our daughter because of the way she acted..." Luster Dawn's Mother said.
"Just please...promise us you'll find our little girl." Luster Dawn's Father said.
"I'll do my best to do so, but if she doesn't want to be found...she won't be." Princess Twilight said.
"Another letter from my sister?" Celestia said. She was with Lucky Star and Princess Twilight.
"Yes. I figured that after Luster Dawn's departure, hearing this new letter might help you out. I was planning on saving it's words for you after the mid-terms but given the circumstances..." Princess Twilight said.
"Well I might as well stick by." Lucky Star said.
Dear Celestia,
You doing okay at Princess Twilight's School so far? Knowing you, you are. I mean, come on; your like the friendliest pony I've ever known. Then again, your one of the few ponies I got to interact with because of me being a Pegasus and you being a unicorn.
As for me, I'm doing great. Spitfire is really nice. She told me her dream is to become a Wonderbolt one day and I figured I might as well support her as much as I can.
Of course she is a bit jealous that I had a childhood in Canterlot. I did tell her I had a sister whose a unicorn and that's who I wanted to make sure to write to as much as I could. She litterally fainted when I told her you were going to attend Princess Twilight's School of Gifted Unicorns.
I think Mid-terms might be coming up soon for you. Knowing you, you won't just pass your mid-terms, you'll ace them. You one of the smartest ponies I know on top of being one of the friendliest. I just hope you take time to make friends while you're in class. Can't keep me as your only friend, after all.

Celestia smiled. "It's good to know my sister is doing a-okay." She said.
"Yeah it's nice. Say, I could use a study budy. Studing is always best in groups." Lucky Star said.
"I like the sound of that. Let's go to the library and grab a few books." Celestia said. As the pair ran off, Twilight smiled.
"Good. The beginnings are there." Princess Twilight said. "What's more, I didn't have to push her to make friends. She's making them on her own. Good. She will need that once she's older." She added.
And that night, staring up at the sky, Twilight was looking at the reason why.
The mare in the moon; what many considered an old pony's tale; was in fact, no fable at all. For the mare in the moon was Princess Twilight's fellow ruler and lover. None but she knows the truth as to who that is.
All anyone will tell you regarding the mare in the moon, is the evil tyrant known as Burning Light.
But to Princess Twilight, she knows her lover is there in that corrupted form of Burning Light.
"It'll just take time to bring her back to normal..." Princess Twilight said.

Season 1: Episode 5 - Eight Years
Time passes during Celestia's time at Princess Twilight's School for gifted unicorns. As Luna had prophesied, Celestia had passed her midterms with flying colors. Celestia would spend time with Lucky Star and a selection of other mares at the school while keeping in touch with her sister Luna.
Luna meanwhile would continue bonding with Spitfire, though none of the other pegasi at the school brushed Luna off as too "high strung" for their liking. In reality, they simply thought that her mother was bribing the night blue filly's way through flight school, though Luna was doing enough to pass her classes without any bribes which did annoy Spitfire a lot that the others were just not even trying.
Though there was a Griffon there named Gilda who did actually genially enjoy Luna's presence. As such, Gilda became a close friend to both Luna and Spitfire which was solidified when some ponies actually tried to ambush Luna at night one day to make her too injured to fly for the big flight test coming up. Gilda had caught them spying on Luna and proceeded to stop them from doing anything big. As such, the three pegasi who tried to injure Luna were kicked out of flight School which did let Spitfire be relaxed around Gilda. After all, if Gilda is willing to defend Luna like that, then Spitfire can appreciate that.
But outside of Luna's constant improvement in flight, and Celestia's ever eagerness to continue to ace Princess Twilight's School, not much of note happened otherwise during the eight year lead up to the 1,000th Sun Celebration Event in Ponyville.
"You want me to go to Ponyville to oversee the Sun Celebration Event?" Celestia asked. Celestia had grown quite a bit over the eight years she's been in school.
"Yes. And I also want you to make some new friends down there too. Seems that's where your sister lives now too." Princess Twilight said.
"That's good to know. I always wondered where she went after she came home to pack her things and move out of house. Mom and Dad knew she'd move out of home sooner or later." Celestia said.
"You do you part okay Celestia? I know your worried about the one known as Shining Flare, but rest assured, things are in place in case she comes back." Princess Twilight added.
"I hope so." Celestia said and then left right away.
"...It's time my love..." Twilight said to herself and readied herself for what must be done.
Thanks to the royal guard giving her a Chariot Ride, Celestia arrived in Ponytown while there was plenty of time to do everything. Her pet pheonix, Philomena, was following Celestia.
"Right, let us start off with seeing how ponies are around here..." Celestia said but was then met with a yellow pegasus.
"Hey, are you Celestia?" The yellow pegasus asked.
"That's me. I don't believe we've met before though." Celestia said.
"Well it is a great joy to meet you. Your sister talked a lot about you." The pegasus commented. Celestia realized who this was.
"You...your Spitfire, aren't you?" Celestia said.
"That's me alright." The pegasus said.
"It's a pleasure to finally meet you then. Thank you for looking after my sister while she was at flight school." Celestia said, shaking hooves with Spitfire.
"It was nothing really. In fact, why don't I show you where she lives out here so you know where to find her." Spitfire said.
"Shouldn't you be clearing the clouds though? It's supposed to be clear skies." Celestia said.
"Pah! Just watch this!" Spitfire said and within but 10 seconds, she had the entire sky cleared out.
"Whoa..." Celestia said. "I've only ever seen one pony go that fast before, and that's Ms. Rainbow Dash." She admitted. Spitfire gasped.
"YOU'VE MET CAPTAIN RAINBOW DASH?!" Spitfire exclaimed.
"Err...she's not the captain of the royal guards, that belongs to Princess Twilight's brother, Shining Armor." Celestia said.
"I'm not talking about the royal guards; Rainbow Dash is captain of the Wonderbolts. As in THE Wonderbolts; the best of the best when it comes to pegasi in Equestria." Spitfire said. "It's my dream to get into the Wonderbolts, let alone meet Captain Rainbow Dash face to face. I am so jelly of you right now. You've got to tell me everything about her; absolutely everything about her; on the way to your sister's place." She explained.
"Oh boy...well, where to start..." Celestia said.

I apologize if the picture for Celestia as a Unicorn is not one people were expecting me to use, but it is the only one I could find that didn't use regulia like Luna's did. And that was the only "Pegasus" version of HER I could find. Maybe in the future I'll use PonyTown to make a more accurate version of Unicorn Celestia, but for now...this is the best I can do.

Season 1: Episode 6 - Buttercup
It took a bit, but Celestia and Spitfire arrived at a nice lodging.
"...Wow, I never knew Captain Dash could be humble." Spitfire said.
"It took a while before she actually talked to me like a normal pony would. So, are you sure my sister is here?" Celestia asked.
"More then anything else." Spitfire said and opened the door to walk inside. Inside, Celestia found her sister wearing her royalty costume again.
"Sis!" Luna shouted before she suddenly tacked her sister into a hug. "What are you doing here?" Luna asked.
"Princess Twilight sent me down here to oversee the Sun Celebration event." Celestia said. "And she also told me to make some friends while I was down here in the process." She added.
"Really? Well you've already met Spitfire whose become quite a close friend of mine after everything that happened at Flight Camp, but I just gotta introduce you to the other friends I've made here. In fact, last I checked, the others just so happen to be in charge of the other stuff like decorations, food, and the actual party for afterwards." Luna said.
"What about music?" Celestia asked.
"That was my job, but I already have it more then covered. I managed to find Vinyl Scratch down here. THE Vinyl Scratch. Better known as our favorite musician, DJ-P0N3!" Luna said.
"DJ-P0N3 LIVES HERE?!" Celestia exclaimed.
"You bet she does. But we should introduce you to the others before her. There'll be time to introduce you to Vinyl Scratch after the celebration." Luna said.
"Your right sis. So, where are we going first then?" Celestia said.
"I bet your feeling hungry, so let's go meet Buttercup." Luna said and lead the way.
"It'll be awesome to see Buttercup again, count me in!" Spitfire said and also joined the duo.
The trio soon arrived at a farm located just outside Ponyville where they say two earth ponies: A mare and a stallion.
"Whose the Stallion?" Celestia asked.
"Oh that? That's just Buttercup's Fiancé. His full name is Bright Macantosh but everyone just calls him Bright Mac." Spitfire said.
"Fiancé? Aren't they a little younger then most couples are?" Celestia asked.
"Ya wouldn't be the first to wonder that." Bright Mac said, approuching the trio. "Whose this unicorn?" He asked.
"Bright Mac chill, this is my sister, Celestia." Luna said.
"Ah. Family then." Bright Mac said, smiling.
"And my BSBFF." Luna said. "That means Big Sister Best Friend Forever." She added. Buttercup chuckled as she approuched the group.
"Howdy there, I'm Buttercup." Buttercup said. "Well...at least that's the name I go by now." She added.
"Now? What do you mean now?" Celestia asked.
"Her original name was Pear Butter, she's originally from the pear family, and it was love from the time we were both just kids. We loved each other so much, we had a wedding in secret but..." Bright Mac said.
"But our parents found out anyways. Ma dad told me that if ah chose Bright Mac over ma original family, ah would be disowned by the Pear family. Of course Bright Mac was given the same ultimatum. So ah made my choice: whichever family Bright Mac chose, ah would choose as well. And of course, Bright Mac chose the Apples." Pear Butter AKA Buttercup said.
"After that, Pear Butter was allowed to live with me and ma family on one condition: She had to legally change her name to something unrelated to pears. So, she decided to go with Buttercup." Bright Mac said.
"Which I was fine with. If ma originally family wanted nothin' to do with me; then ah was all to happy to legally change ma name." Buttercup said.
"Which is when ah knew you were the right one for my son." A green earth pony mare soon joined them.
"Hi ma." Bright Mac said. "Everypony, this is ma ma; Apple Smith." He said.
"It's nice to meet you." Celestia said.
"Ma policy is that honesty will always set you on the right path in life." Buttercup said. "And ah managed to find more honesty with the Apple Family then I ever did with the Pears." She added.
"If yer daddy didn't want ya for yer honesty, then that's his loss." Apple Smith said.
"So Buttercup, Celestia here is checking up on preparations for the food for the Sun Celebration event. But after coming all this way down from Canterlot and meeting back up with her sister, Luna believes she's hungry." Spitfire said. Just then, Celestia's stomach grumbled.
"...My apologies...I haven't really ate since breakfast." Celestia said, blushing.
"Ah don't worry. We got quite a bit a food to spare." Buttercup said. "Mrs. Apple Smith, would you mind if after my friends have their fill, ah help Celestia out in touring Ponyville? It'd be great to see all my other friends." She asked.
"Ah don't see why not. It's not everyday we get a student of Princess Twilight Sparkle visiting our quiet little town. You just make sure to come back home after the big event ya hear?" Apple Smith asked.
"Of course Mrs. Apple Smith." Buttercup said.
"...Ah really wish you'd call me yer own ma." Apple Smith muttered under her breath. She decided she'd worry about all this later. For now, the apple family had guests.

If both Bright Mac and Pear Butter being alive is weird to you, please remember, this is an alternate timeline. Because Applejack is much older then the two who are her parents from the original timeline, Bright Mac and Pear Butter thus would be still be alive in this timeline but have no kids yet. This also explains why Granny Apple Smith is much younger and is just called "Apple Smith" in this timeline.

Season 1: Episode 8 - The Elements of Harmony Part 1
As things began to be ready for the celebration, an evil looking orange alicorn appeared behind Twilight Sparkle and then banished the purple alicorn to the moon.
Meanwhile, ponies gathered at Town Hall, including Celestia and her new friends.
"Buttercup, were you over with Celestia while we waited for it to be time?" Apple Smith asked.
"Yes Mrs. Apple Smith." Buttercup said. Apple Smith laughed and hugged her daughter-in-law.
"Ah may not be your biological mother, but ma mother's intuition told me this would happen. Don't fret about it, okay?" Apple Smith asked.
"Sure thing. Celestia did mentioned that there's a chance some evil being could come here. If it's necessary, I would like to help her out with this evil being." Buttercup said.
"You would do the apple family proud if ya stood up to something evil. So of course, I'll let ya." Anny Smith said.
"You sure about this, Buttercup?" Bright Mac asked.
"something tells me it should be me. Call it instinct." Buttercup said.
"You just be safe now and come back to me in one piece ya hear?" Bright mac asked.
"Ah certainly don't plan on dying if that's what yer implying." Buttercup giggled causing the other two apples to laugh.
"And now, we bring you, Princess Twilight Sparkle." Moondancer announced. Then the curtain lifted with no sign of Princess Twilight which made Celestia's eyes go wide.
"Horse raddish..." Celestia said.
"What? What is it?" Bright Mac asked.
"Bright Mac, go see whose willing to help you get people to shelter. Girls, be ready...she's coming." Celestia said.
"Sis, what's going on?" Luna asked.
"I read all about the signs of her return. And I'm pretty sure she's here." Celestia said.
"Who? Whose here?" Spitfire asked. Suddenly an evil orange alicorn appeared before them all.
"Her. Shining Flare. The one Princess Twilight banished to the moon 1,000 years ago!" Celestia said.
"Ah ha ha hah ha ha ha! I have taken your precious princess. And now, you will have no choice but to obey the likes of me! WORSHIP ME! WORSHIP ME!" The orange alicorn yelled. "Failure to do so will end rather poorly for you." She added and then vanished.
"We gotta head to the library!" Celestia said. The girls headed to the library.
"Why are we at the library now? We need to stop Shining Flare." Cookie Crumbles asked.
"I know, but I need more information. Apparently, according to what I read, only something called the elements of harmony can stop Shining Flare." Celestia said.
"Elements of Harmony, a reference guide." Chiffon Swirls said with a book on her nose.
"Where did you find it?" Celestia said, taking the book from Chiffon Swirls.
"It was under E." Chiffon Swirls said.
"I see..." Celestia said and opened the book. "According to this book, there are six elements of harmony but only five are known: Honesty, Kindness, Laughter, Generosity, and Loyalty. The sixth is a complete mystery. The elements are located in the ruins of the original castle which is now located in what is known as the Everfree Forest." Celestia said. "...What's the Everfree Forest?" She asked.
"Oh boy..." Spitfire said.
A bit later, the group was outside a big forest.
"...How did I miss this?" Celestia asked as the group headed inside.
"To be fair, not many ponies come in here. Some do and managed to make it out alive if their smart and avoid the Timber Wolves." Spitfire said.
"Timber Wolves...I've read about those. Mysterious creatures magically made from wood scraps." Celestia said. Suddenly, there was a Timberwolf guarding the path. "Speak of the freaking devil." Celestia said.
"Wait, let me handle this." Luna said. She flew up to the Timber Wolf which was being pretty aggressive. "Hey there; don't mind me...I'm just going to do...THIS!" Luna said before she seemingly pulled something out which made the Timber Wolf roar viciously.
"LUNA!" Celestia yelled out to her sister but then the strangest thing as Luna tossed a plant's thorn to the side: The Timber Wolf was acting more like a tamed dog then anything else.
"See there? Isn't that much better. Oh and, if you would, we would like to pass by through this forest whenever we'd like. Consider it repayment for helping you get rid of that nasty old thing." Luna said. The Timber Wolf happily licked her to show it's approval. "Yes yes, I get it; you'll tell your friends." She added.
"Luna, I didn't know you could befriend animals like that." Celestia said.
"It's easy for just about anyone, so long as you show them kindness." Luna said as the group headed through the woods. As they did so, it began to grow pretty dark.
"Meep!" Celestia said.
"Don't worry everypony; just imagine the silliest things you can imagine to combat the darkness!" Chiffon Swirl said. The group did so and was able to get out of the dense part of the forest with a few giggles.

Season 1: Episode 9 - The Elements of Harmony Part 2
The group soon came across a river where a bridge was suppsed to connect to the other side, but currently the bridge was out of commission.
"Must be the work of Shining Flare." Celestia said.
"I got this, don't worry." Spitfire said and flew over to the other side.
"Spitfire..." A voice called out.
"...Shining Flare, you'll have to do better then try and not get me to help my friends across." Spitfire said, fixing the bridge without a second thought. "I may want to be an ace stunt flier like Captain Rainbow Dash, but I would never leave my friends hanging." Spitfire said and rejoined her friends.
"Let's get across, not much father now." Celestia said.
Further down the path, there was a few cliffs that provided a short cut to the old castle.
"Wait!" Buttercup said. "Don't take any of these cliffs!" She said.
"Huh? Why not?" Celestia asked. As if to answer Celestia, Buttercup procceeded to stomp down HARD on each cliff area which showed that they had been lossened.
"We earth ponies may not be able to fly like Pegasi do, or cast magic like unicorns can, but that don't mean we don't have some special magic of our own. Ours just happens to be related to the land and everything that makes that possible." Buttercup said. "And before ya go askin', I am telling you the honest truth as the farm lifestyle teaches you how to be honest not just with yer friends and family, but with yer work too." Buttercup said.
"Hey guys, I found a part of the ground that's more like a slide." Spitfire called out not too far from their position.
"Talk about good timing." Celestia said.
The group had almost made it to the castle, but the door was shut tight.
"Hmm...there seems to be an inscription here: 'if one wants inside these walls, then you must give up something in return.' ...What's with the sudden riddle?" Celestia asked.
"Stand back, I got this." Cookie Crumbles said before she suddenly cut her tail and placed it nearby the door which caused it to open.
"Cookie, yer poor tail..." Buttercup said.
"It's fine. It'll grow back. More importantly however, we are able to get inside now." Cookie Crumbles said. The group headed inside the ruins without a second thought.
"There they are. I think." Celestia said looking up at the five stone orbs that Celeste helped Spitfire, Luna, and Cookie Crumbles get down.
"Only five of these things are here." Luna noted.
"Luna, don't you remember what Celestia read from that book?" Spitfire asked.
"She's right; she read that a spark that units the five elements will cause the sixth one to appear. No doubt Princess Twilight herself must have had that trigger be the thing just in case Shining Flare would find these before anyone else." Cookie Crumbles said.
"But what are we supposed to do with a bunch of stone orbs?" Chiffon Swirls asked.
"I don't think this is their true form." Celestia noted.
"What do ya mean when ya say this ain't the true form of the elements?" Buttercup asked.
"I think what my sister means is that the elements are hibernating. You know, like how some animals hibernate in the winter time." Luna said.
"So in other words, your saying the elements are currently inactive?" Spitfire asked.
"That is what I'm saying yes." Luna said.
"So then how do we get them to be active again? After all, one thousand years ago, Princess Twilight used them on Shining Flare." Celestia said.
"I think it has to do with the spark that makes the sixth element appear. That one could act as the activator for the others. After all, the other elements would be useless without all six being together." Cookie Crumbles said.
"Good point." Celestia said. "Though I wonder...if it was a simple magic spell that caused them to resonate, then Shining Flare could've easily used them too." She added.
"And then we'd be in a LOT of trouble." Spitfire noted. As if on cue, Shining Flare appeared.
"Ah there they are. I wonder where Twilight put those stupid things. If you know what's good for you, you'll hand those over right here, right now!" Shining Flare said.
"Not going to happen." Spitfire said.
"Yeah, I'd like to see you try and take them." Luna said.
"You may be an evil alicorn, but there's six of us and only one of you." Cookie Crumbles said.
"And it won't matter how much damage ya try to dish out to us." Buttercup said.
"The six of us have a unique bond of friendship that you could never topple." Chiffon Swirls said.
! That's it! Celestia said. "I hate to be the bringer of bad news, Shining Flare, but even if we wanted to, we couldn't hand over the elements. Because the ponies who represent those elements are right here!" Celestia said as the stones began to glow. "My own sister Luna showed compassion towards the Timber Wolves of the forest and thus represents the element of Kindness. Chiffon Swirls who helped us laugh away our fears represents the element of Laughter. Spitfire who not only helped out my sister when they were younger, but chose us over whatever it was you could ever offer to her represents the element of Loyalty. Buttercup who revealed to me her truths and helped us get past the unstable cliffs represents the element of Honesty. And finally, Cookie Crumbles who was so selfless, that she was willing to sacrifice her tail to help us get in here represents the element of Generosity." Celestia explained as the stones broke a bit and then pieces began to swirl amongst the others.
"But you don't have the sixth element. Whatever your planning didn't work." Shining Flare said.
"The sixth element only shows up when a spark units the other five. And I realize now what that spark was about: Friendship. These ponies helped me fit in, and the time we spent waiting for the Sun Celebration event organized by Twilight to be here in Ponyville helped me realize that they are real friends!" Celestia said. Suddenly a new orb showed up out of nowhere. "When the elements are united by the spark of Friendship, it creates the final element: THE ELEMENT OF MAGIC!" Celestia said before the final orb transformed into a crown on her head where as the other elements became necklaces before a giant rainbow laser hit Shining Flare.
Everyone got up after a brief rest. Cookie Crumble's tail had been restored.
"Ah my tail is back. Seems the elements must have grown it back." Cookie Crumbles said.
"Look, your necklace matches your cutie mark." Luna pointed out.
"Really? How about that. So does yours." Cookie Crumbles said.
"Look at mine!" Chiffon Swirls said.
"THIS. IS. AWESOME!" Spitfire said. Celestia looked up at hers.
"Seems ya were onto something after all Celestia; we do represent the elements." Buttercup said.
"Indeed you do." A female voice called out. Suddenly out of nowhere, Princess Twilight appeared.
"Princess Twilight!" Celestia said, going over to her teacher.
"Good job Celestia. You did exactly what I had hoped you'd do." Princess Twilight said.
"You wanted me to defeat Shining Flare?" Celestia asked.
"I had hoped you'd do so yes. But I knew you could not do so by yourself. Thanks to your new friends and your own sister, you have done just what you have said: Defeated Shining Flare." Princess Twilight said. "That is why I told you to make friends in Ponyville after all." She added.
"The High Council actually signed off on this?" Celestia mumbled to herself as her teacher went to the downed form of Shining Flare who had been reduced to a young Alicorn not much younger then Princess Twilight.
"Now if only a certain somepony would accept my friendship and love once more. It's been a long time since I last saw you like this, Sunset Shimmer." Princess Twilight said. "There had to be other ways to get others to notice you then what you did. Banishing you to the moon was the hardest thing I ever had to do. It hurt me a lot more then you were ever hurt, my love." She said.
"Did...did she just call that alicorn her lover?" Spitfire asked. The orange alicorn started to sob.
"I'm so, so sorry Twilight..." The orange alicorn said before hugging Twilight. "I'm so sorry. I'll try to do better from now on. Just please don't leave me." She added.
"I won't Sunset Shimmer. Not again." Twilight said.
"So...is she a princess too? Then why..." Luna said.
"It's a story I'd rather not talk about please." Princess Sunset said. "I made my mistakes. So now I must deal with them." She added.
"We can go back to ruling together. And this time, I will make sure you are paid enough attention to. I won't let what happened a thousand years ago happen again." Princess Twilight said.
"Th-thank you...it's this kind of stuff that made me fall in love with you to begin with." Princess Sunset said.
"Hey um...Princess Twilight Sparkle...I was wondering something..." Celestia said.
"What is it, my faithful student?" Princess Twilight asked.
"Can I stay here in Ponyville? I'd hate to leave my new friends just like that. I'll try and come up to canterlot every now and then though." Celestia said. Princess Twilight smiled.
"I think that's a great idea. I shall have it made a royal decree as soon as me and my lover return to the castle." Princess Twilight said. "Just make sure you give me a report on your progress towards the magic of friendship, and only when you actually make that progress." She added.
Author's Note
I'll admit it, I stretched a bit with Generosity in order to make the remixed order work. And yes, Magic is still the last element here. Kind of hard to place that one somewhere different in the order when it's supposed to be the mystery element. I did try my best to have other characters besides just Celestia react to the trials that occur. This was for no other reason then to sell that this version of the Main Six had a lot more of a close friendship bond then the original from the get-go to sell the fact that outside of Celestia, these mares have been through a lot together.

Season 1: Episode 10 - Getting Cozy with Sunset
Celestia and her friends were helping the unicorn move to ponyville at the local library thanks to some strings being pulled by Princess Twilight.
"Those six are great friends. So, what's this about a High Council?" Princess Sunset asked.
"It's something to ensure that Ponies treat us as good royalty. After all, I would rather not be distant from our subjects. Not after what happened with you. The High Council serves as our gateway into the minds of the subjects, so if there's anything you wish to ask of them regarding current public opinion on your return, you may." Princess Twilight said. Moondancer soon entered.
"Ah, so this is where you were, Princess Sunset Shimmer. Do you mind if I just call you Princess Sunset like everyone else does?" Moondancer asked.
"Huh? I am already being short handed with my name?" Princess Sunset asked.
"Yep. Seems that despite your bout as Shining Flare, everypony is grateful that there's a second alicorn ruling with Princess Twilight. The common folk all believe that with two ruling alicorns, the chances of crazy laws being passed has become next to zero." Moondancer said.
"Well how about that? I've barely been back a day and everyone is glad I'm here." Princess Sunset said.
"I may have gotten a little too lonely without you, my love." Princess Twilight said.
"Anyways, Princess Twilight, I would like to know what we should do with this year's entrance exam into the school of gifted unicorns?" Moondancer said.
"Go with what you feel is best to be as fair as possible like you do every year, Moondancer. It's worked so far." Princess Twilight said.
"Yeah your right. Why mess up a good thing?" Moondancer said and left but then Trixie would enter.
"Princesses, the Warrior Princess has returned from the front lines." Trixie said.
"Warrior Princess?" Princess Sunset said before Princess Cozy Glow came in and took off her helmet.
"You must be Princess Sunset. Princess Twilight's told me a lot about you." Princess Cozy Glow said.
"Your an alicorn. How is she an alicorn?" Princess Sunset asked.
"Funny story see it all started back at my village with this civil war..." Princess Cozy Glow started.
Two hours of repeated dialogue later
"...And that's why I'm referred to as the Warrior Princess." Princess Cozy Glow said.
"You never change, do you Twily? Even now with Cozy Glow here, you've helped her make friends." Princess Sunset said.
"I mostly just handle the war side of things and keep Equestria's borders safe. With me in charge, everyone knows better then to plan a frontal assult on Equestria." Princess Cozy Glow said.
"I like your style." Princess Sunset said.
"By the way Cozy Glow, I hear Queen Chrysalis and her people are doing just find now that they have been living peacefully in many pony locations." Princess Twilight said.
"You bet. Right now, the support for them has reached 99%; there are only a select few who are more on the fence then anything else." Princess Cozy Glow said.
"Changelings? You have a lot to catch me up on." Princess Sunset said.
"Actually, speaking of Chrysalis...she wants to meet with you asap." Princess Cozy Glow said.
"Of course. Bring her here." Princess Twilight said.
"No problem." Princess Cozy Glow then pressed a button of some kind. After a few more minutes, Chrysalis arrrived. Though she was looking much different then she did eight years ago.
"Ch-chrysalis? Is-is that you?" Princess Twilight asked.
"I know. I look much different. I thought I had looked revolting at first, but I actually have grown to like it." Chryaslis said. "I didn't think having so many new friends and being given love this freely would do this to me, but I digress." She added.
"I kind of like the new digs, Chryssy." Princess Cozy Glow said. "You look kind of like a mix between your old form and a pony now." She added.
"I do don't I? And I quite like it." Chrysalis said.
"Was there something you wished to speak with us about?" Princess Sunset asked.
"Ah. I see you've returned to being the mare Twilight told me she fell in love with. Good. I was worried Twilight would suffer a broken heart." Chrysalis said. "I digress. You should know, as of five years ago, I gave birth to a changeling princess. And now that's she old enough for me to do so, I plan on stepping down." She added.
"Wait Chrysalis, you no longer need to do that." Princess Twilight said.
"Even so, I feel like keeping the seat of power like that would tempt me. No, this is for the best so I am not tempted." Chrysalis said. "Besides, I would love to help you and your lover out here with court if you need me. I could act as an advisor." She added.
"I have Spike for that position." Princess Twilight said.
"You can't keep him on forever. My changelings say that Dragon Lord Tourch will be hosting the Gauntlet of Fire, and trust me, not all dragons are like Spike is. I'd like to think you would prefer Spike become the new Dragon Lord over some other dragon your not sure you can trust." Chrysalis said.
"I suppose that is a good point. I'll have to ask the high council." Princess Twilight said.
"This is more of a Dragon issue then a Pony issue. If nothing else, Spike can communicate with us with letters." Princess Sunset said.
"Ah. Good point." Princess Twilight said. "Very well then, we'll see how things go for now, Chryaslis." She added.

Season 1: Episode 11 - Great Jack
"Phew...I don't know if I could've handled this all by myself without you all helping me out." Buttercup said to her friends who had helped her with Applebucking season.
"Apple Smith did allow us to help as she was sick and Bright Mac was injured." Luna said.
"Yeah. I'd hate to think of someone who would be so dumb as to try and harvest this whole orchard by themselves." Spitfire said.
"Well...there is one pony that comes to mind from my family tree, she's referred to as Great Jack." Buttercup said.
"Do you have some sort of picture?" Celestia asked.
"Nope. There's never been any recorded picture of Great Jack. It's said that she had a brother named Big Mac who got injured and tried to harvest the entire orchard by herself. That is until it's said Princess Twilight got Great Jack to see things straight. But all of this is just a giant myth. There's no way to tell if it's true." Buttercup said.
"...Philomena, be ready." Celestia said and wrote a letter to her teacher before Philomena burned it.
"Um...what did you just do?" Cookie Crumbles asked. Suddenly a scroll magically appeared; it had Princess Twilight's noticeable royal mark on it.
"Oh, I get it; that's how you and Princess Twilight send each other mail." Chiffon Swirls said.

I can one hundred percent confirm that the myth is a reality, and have sent someone to Sweet Apple Acres who will be glad to confirm the myth further. It's someone whose very familiar with the mare who became known as Great Jack.

"Someone who knows Great Jack is coming?!" Buttercup asked. "Oh I wonder if they'll enjoy some Apple Pie! I better go make one." She said and got started on just that.
Applejack smiled as her train arrived in Ponyville.
"Sweet Apple Acres...it's nice to know the old place is still standin' to this day." Applejack said. "Ah ah remember all the good times ah've had 'ere. Memories." She said as she headed towards Sweet Apple Acres. Soon, Applejack arrived on Sweet Apple Acres.
"Applejack of the high court?!" Celestia said, recognizing Applejack right away.
"You know her? Wait, don't answer that, briefly forgot: You knew four of the five high court members personally." Spitfire said.
"Didn't expect a farm pony on the high court, did ya?" Applejack asked. "Ya remind me of RD; another high court member and a personal friend of mine." She added. Buttercup soon came out with an apple pie.
"Wow...you look like your from the farm life like ah am." Buttercup said.
"That's because ah still am part of the farm community, even if ah don't live here anymore. How little everything changes in one hundred years..." Applejack said, looking up at the farm at the end.
"One hundred years?" Buttercup asked.
"Now what's going on out..." Apple Smith said before suddenly blinking at the sight of Applejack and briefly smacked herself.
"Oh! Hello Apple Smith." Applejack waved to Apple Smith.
"Grandma!" Apple Smith said before she ran over to Applejack and glomped her.
"Ooof! My how you've grown." Applejack said, being tackled to the ground.
"Ah've missed you lots Grandma!" Anny Smith said.
"Not as much as ah've missed you Anny." Applejack said.
"Mrs. Apple Smith...you know Applejack of the High Court?" Buttercup asked.
"But of course I do! She's my grandma!" Anny Smith said.
"Applejack is your grandma? Wait...then that means..." Celestia said and then her jaw dropped. "...Holy Great Jack!" She added.
"Sis, what's wrong?" Luna asked.
"I...I think we have a confirmed visual on Great Jack..." Celestia said.
"Ah don't get it." Buttercup said.
"Applejack and Great Jack are one and the same." Celestia said. Applejack laughed and ruffled Celestia's mane.
"Ya hit the nail on the head there. No wonder Twilight made ya her student." Applejack said. Now it was every pony else's jaw's turn to drop. Minus Apple Smith's jaw.
"We had to remove every instance of Applejack's face because Great Jack here was a high council member. It would make her a target if word got out." Apple Smith said. "Not to mention me..." She added.
"So...that would make you Bright Mac's great grandmother..." Buttercup said. "Ah am honored to meet you, oh Great Jack!" She said bowing. Applejack laughed and made Buttercup stop bowing before her.

"Ya got that right sugercube. Now then, ah believe ah'll hang out here for a few days. It's been a hundred years since I've last seen the place. I can't wait to see my great grandson." Applejack said. Celestia smiled as she looked at applejack.
Dear Princess Twilight Sparkle,
We all like to believe that family and friends are two separate things, but today I learned that the two don't have to be mutually exclusive. With Buttercup being Bright Mac's fiance, the fact that they'd be related soon didn't stop Applejack AKA Great Jack from becoming Buttercup's friend.
It goes to show that even your own family relatives can be your friends, because if they aren't, I shudder to think of the alternative. And frankly, I hope I never have to know what the alternative is.

Luna trotted up the stairs of the Golden Oak Library.
"Well I'll be sis, Princess Twilight really does have you living out of the library." Luna said to her sister who was reading a letter from Princess Twilight; though the unicorn sibling soon put the letter away.
"It's great. Listen, think you can promise not to freak out?" Celestia asked.
"What? What's up sis?" Luna asked.
"What's up is that The Warrior Princess is choosing to visit Ponyville very shortly." Celestia said.
"C'mon sis, enough with that urban legend. The Warrior Princess is a myth and pure fantasy. I deal in cold, hard facts." Luna asked. Suddenly she felt somepony tapping her shoulder.
"Maybe you'd like to believe with your eyes over your ears." A female voice said. Turning around, Luna's jaw dropped to the ground as she looked at the alicorn before her.
"Princess Cozy Glow, it's nice to see you again." Celestia said.
"It's nice to see you too, Celestia. And please, just call me Cozy Glow. We're besties after all." Princess Cozy Glow said.
"You...your..." Luna said. "Your The Warrior Princess...your actually real..." She added poking Princess Cozy Glow.
"Luna, please don't do that. She's a princess." Celestia said but Princess Cozy Glow chuckled.
"I see there are still a few ponies who see me as some urban legend; a myth if you will. Ah this takes me back to the times when no one knew what I looked like." Princess Cozy Glow said. "It's been so long since I've last a pony poke me to make sure I'm real." She added.
"You...had that happen often?" Celestia asked.
"Yes I did. It's been so long I've forgotten what it felt like. Which made me get worried." Princess Cozy Glow said. "...Okay you can quit now." She added to Luna.
"Oh right." Luna said and stopped. "Sorry." She added.
"It's alright." Princess Cozy Glow said. "So, where's the other elements?" She asked.
Each one of the friends of the sisters had a different reaction. Spitfire was pratically saluting Princess Cozy Glow once she saw her; Chiffon Swirls was eager to bake cupcakes for the royal; Cookie Crumbles wanted to make a dress for the alicorn (which Cozy Glow insisted for there to be a next time); but of the others, the one with Buttercup was much different.
"Wow...you must be the famous Warrior Princess; Princess Cozy Glow!" Buttercup said.
"What's going on out here?" Apple Smith asked. Then she spotted Princess Cozy Glow. "...Well I'll be a donkey's uncle; the warrior princess is real!" Apple Smith said.
"Another one? We just went through this as soon as Princess Cozy Glow got here." Celestia said.
"Really missed this whole thing of being regarded as an urban legend and thus a myth. Been so long I've forgotten what that was like." Princess Cozy Glow said.
"For being the warrior princess, you seem pretty relaxed." Bright Mac noted.
"I'm on break from the front lines. Thought I'd come down and meet with the elements of Harmony you know." Princess Cozy Glow said, before taking out a rook chess piece.
"...!" Apple Smith quickly forced Cozy Glow to repocket that. "Please don't take one of those out your highness...other wise she'll take it..." Apple Smith added.
"Whose this she? First I heard of this." Buttercup said.
"For good reason as she's my little sister. My very spoiled little sister." Bright Mac said.
"Somepony mention me?" A new female voice called out. Everyone turned towards two female earth pony fillies.

"Yes but let's let the Princess keep this one." Apple Tiara said.
"...What was that about?" Princess Cozy Glow asked.
"My sister and that Silver Belle girl...spoiled kids they both are." Bright Mac said. "I just hope neither one ends up becoming a bully when the school year starts." He added.
"Right. That starts in a few weeks if I remember correctly." Celestia said.
"That reminds me, we should introduce you to Miss Cherilee." Luna said.
"Oh...didn't you hear? Miss Cherilee is retiring after this year. No idea who the new teacher's going to be." Spitfire said.
"Oof...but Miss Cherilee is so good..." Luna said.
"I just hope our friendship sticks together." Celestia said.
"Are you kidding? We'll find a way to communicate if any of us are ever far apart." Buttercup said. "Ah know we will." She added.
"She's right. You girls are special." Bright Mac said. All the girls smiled.

Today at Sweet Apple Acres, my friend Buttercup was insistent that we'd never lose our friendship, no matter what may happen.

Chiffon Swirls was enjoying her job when suddenly...
"HOWDY THERE CHIFFON SWIRLS!" A female voice said.
"GAH!" Chiffon Swirls said before slipping on the wallet of Mr. Carrot Cake all over again; sending the cupcakes she was holding landing all over the newcomer.
"Not again...thanks for finding my wall--HOLY PINKIE PIE!" Carrot Cake said, looking at the new pony.
"Hi Carrot Cake. Been a while since we've seen each other." The new pony said, cleaning herself off without worry.
"You know this pony boss?" Chiffon Swirls asked.
"Yes...my father and mother were friends of her. This is Pinkie Pie." Carrot Cake, taking his wallet off the floor.
"And I made time out of my High Council duties to throw you a birthday party every year so far~" Pinkie Pie said, practically death hugging Carrot Cake.
"Pinkie...air..." Carrot Cake said.
"Right. Sorry." Pinkie Pie said and put down Carrot Cake.
"What kind of hug was that?" Chiffon Swirls asked.
"One of Auntie Pinkie Pie's patented Pinkie Pie hugs..." Carrot cake said. Suddenly Pinkie Pie's body seemingly moved on it's own. "! Chiffon Swirls, move away from that door!" Carrot Cake said. Chiffon Swirls moved away from the front door just in time for her friends to come in.
"...Figures she's show up here since she makes sweets." Celestia said.
"Hey boss, how did you know what was gonna happen?" Chiffon Swirls asked.
"It's my Pinkie Sense. That one was for 'watch out for opening doors'." Pinkie Pie said.
"It's good to see nothing has changed with you, Pinkie." Celestia said.
"And once again, Celestia shows off just how well she knows the original high council." Spitfire said.
"You do realize that also includes Captain Rainbow Dash, right?" Luna asked.
"Err...yeah. Twice over in fact." Spitfire said.
"Pinkie sense?" Chiffon Swirls asked.
"Trust me Swirls, it's best you do what Celestia and I know by now: You never question Pinkie Pie." Carrot cake said.
"That's right. There were a few days where Pinkie Pie left Canterlot. That was for you I bet. One day I actually asked her why she's leaving every year on the same day of the year. She told me she was visiting an honorary niece of hers." Celestia said.
"Which was my boss...that explains why we were always closed for business on the same ay every year for the past three years. I noticed it before I started working here." Chiffon Swirls said. "But how did she come in here is my next question." She added.
"Trust me, Ms. Swirls, the answer to that is the same as I've told you before: Don't ever question Pinkie Pie." Carrot Cake said.
"So long as you don't research her fur a full week like I tried to." Celestia said.
"Some learn the hard way, others the easy way." Carrot cake said.
"You could see my secret for getting everywhere I want to is...A SECRET!" Pinkie Pie said to Luna. "Anyways, I'm here because I thought I'd throw a certain somepony one of my patented Pinkie Pie birthday parties. And it's someone from the elements. I'm going to go start getting things set up." Pinkie Pie said and left the building.
"I thought I knew everypony's birthday already." Luna said.
"And how does she know one of us has a birthday today?" Spitfire asked. Suddenly a Blue Pegasus filly showed up.
"Spitfire." The filly said opening the door. "Did ya hear that Pinkie Pie is...oh..." She noticed the mess. "...I guess you already know." She added.
"Whose this?" Luna asked.
"It's Wind Storm; my little sister. My parents thought it'd be a great bonding experience for her to be living with me while they do stuff too dangerous for kids her age." Spitfire said.
"Did you know Pinkie Pie is heading for our house?" Wind Storm asked.
"Wait what?" Luna asked.
"Oh no..." Spitfire said. Then she, her friends, and Wind Storm headed for Spitfire's house. When they got there...
"SURPRISE!" Pinkie Pie and a bunch of other ponies said.
"Spitfire, it's your birthday today? I thought I pegged you as a Neighvember Pony." Celestia said.
"That's what I want everyone else to believe so they'd never know..." Spitfire said
"Did you know that Spitfire was born on the same day as Rainbow Dash?" Pinkie Pie asked.
"...For that EXACT reason..." Spitfire groaned.
"Ah cheer up. I think it's awesome." An orange mare nearby said. Spitfire looked and found an orange mare in a Wonderbolts Uniform.
Spitfire's jaw dropped. "You...your..." She stuttered.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Spitfire. I'm Scootaloo, Rainbow Dash's sarrogate little sister. Though we like others to adress us as actual sisters." The mare said.
"I know who you are. Your just as famous as Captain Rainbow Dash." Spitfire said.
"I...I am?" Scootaloo said and then blushed. "I didn't think I was..." Scootaloo said.
"The two of you are a pair. I heard your even her wing pony." Spitfire said.
"I am." Scootaloo said. "If only because we share no real family connection. Wonderbolt rules after all." Scootaloo said.
"Then there's your answer. You have just as much fame as the Captain." Spitfire said. Scootaloo handed over a poster.
"Speaking of, the captain wants you to have this." Scootaloo said. It was a poster of Rainbow Dash in her wonderbolt uniform and was signed by Rainbow Dash hereself.
"This...this is a good gift." Spitfire said.
"She also wants you to know, she's got special eyes on you; seeing how far your willing to go to get into the Wonderbolts." Scootaloo said.
"I'll be doing things my way and under my own power." Spitfire said.
"Trust me, she knows that. Because she feels you two are similar." Scootaloo said. Celestia smiled at the exchange.
Dear Princess Twilight Sparkle
Today I learned something interesting regarding Spitfire. She gives off the impression that she was born in Neighvember but really she was born today in the middle of May.
The main reason why she wants people to think she was born in Neighvember was because today is also Rainbow Dash's birthday today.
Guess you should be aware that not everypony likes to be associated with someone famous. Especially not Spitfire who wants to earn her own fame; not have it handed to her on a silver platter. And I can understand my friend not wanting to be forced to live in somepony else's shadow. I even told her as much later.
It's something I figured friends do, being understanding of their friends.

"That was some party yesterday. Not that I expected anything less from Pinkie Pie." Celestia said. She and the group were at the ponyville boutique today.
"So you got to know each and everyone of the original five then?" Cookie Crumbles asked.
"More or less. Wait, what do you mean by 'the original five'?" Celestia asked.
"She means the original five members of the high council. Most don't know it, but the ones that helped Twiilght form the high council became the first five members ever of the high council." Luna said.
"Huh...that explains why even though just Rainbow Dash and Applejack are on the high coincil, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Rarity all have positions within canterlot's high class." Celestia said.
"Wait you got to know each one of those five while you were there?" Spitfire asked.
"Yep." Celestia said. The door to the boutique opened, and not only was Lucky Star there, but so was...
"OH...MY...STARS!" Cookie Crumbles looking at Lucky Star's companion. It was Rarity.
"Hey Celestia. Got a package for you then I gotta go back to Canterlot." Lucky Star said handing over a package.
"Ah...the books you were meant to return to me. Forgot about those." Celestia said.
"Later." Lucky Star said and teleported away.
"Huh...was that your school buddy?" Luna asked.
"Yep. She kind of reminds me of you a lot sis." Celestia told Luna.
"Ahem, now that that's all taken care of, is this the place of one Cookie Crumbles?" Rarity asked.
"Yes! That's me!" Cookie Crumbles said.
"Well darling, I'd love to see what you've got." Rarity said. Cookie Crumbles looked like she was having a big squeal moment.
"This...is a dream..." Cookie Crumbles said.
"These dresses are actually very special." Rarity noted.
"They are nothing like yours are, Rarity. I hope I one day make dresses like yours." Crumbles said.
"Nonesense dearie. You should continue on with your own style. Don't outright copy me." Rarity said.

"Chiffon Swirl's boss was foal sat by Pinkie Pie, Buttercup is being married to Bright Mac whose the great grandson of Applejack, Spitfire was born on the same day as Rainbow Dash, and now Cookie Crumbles is Rarity's cousin. Next thing you'll tell me is that Luna and I are related to Fluttershy..." She added.
"Nah. That's not just possible. I mapped it. The chances of us being related to Fluttershy are like zero." Luna said.
"It's still akward that this keeps happening." Celestia said.
"This is starting to be a pattern I will admit." Spitfire noted.
"It's like Celestia is already getting her own high coincil out of the five of us." Buttercup said.
"That's a little soon." Celestia said, sweat dropping.
"Quite right Celestia; your not even a Princess." Rarity said. At least your not one yet. She thought to herself.
"Well for now, it goes without saying that Celestia is no doubt the leader of us." Luna noted.
"Yeah. We should come up with our own special name." Cooke Crumbles said.
"I think I know a good one already: The Main Six!" Spitfire said. Everyone but Rarity stared at Spitfire. "...What? Was it something I said?" The yellow pegasus asked.
"Well it's just...I think I speak for all of us when I say we expected you to think up something around you." Buttercup said.
"Nah; this group ain't just about me; it's about the six of us working together. So I say we go for it!" Spitfire said.
"Sometimes Spitfire, you say the weirdest stuff. But this time, I'm glad your choosing to be humble." Luna said.
"I don't make everything about me...do I?" Spitfire asked.
"You kind of do sometimes." Cookie Crumbles said.

Later on, Luna was being brought back to her house in Ponyville by Spitfire.

Luna was marking how many animals were in Ponyville at the current time. Suddenly she noticed Lucky Star coming in with a yellow Pegasus.
"Thank you for wanting to help me around town, Lucky Star." the yellow pegasus said.
"Well you are someone whose normally very shy so I figured you'd do well with a good friend to be alongside you." Lucky Star said.
"Hey, Lucky Star right?" Luna said, going up to the two.
"Yep. Luna, meet Fluttershy." Lucky Star said.
"Hi." Fluttershy said simply with a smile.
"She doesn't talk much to new ponies unless she has something she really likes talking about. You'll have to excuse her." Lucky Star said.
"That's fair." Luna said. "From what sis told me, Fluttershy is an animal caretaker right?" She asked.
"Oh yes. I take have an animal shelter in Canterlot." Luna noted.
"LUNA, YOU GOTTA COME SEE THIS!" Spitfire yelled from up high in the sky before bursting towards near the Everfree Forest.
"I wonder what that's about..." Luna noted.
Following Spitfire's trail, the trio encountered a cottage with lots of animals hanging out near it.
"Wow...what is this place?" Luna asked.
"Oh..." Fluttershy said. "It's been so long...I didn't think it'd still be here..." She added.
"Is this your original house Miss Fluttershy?" Lucky Star asked.
"Yes." Fluttershy said. Suddenly a male bunny rabbit hooped into Fluttershy's hooves. "Angel?!" She exclaimed. The bunny rabbit nodded. "How? Wait no...let me guess...Twilight made this possible?" Fluttershy asked. The bunny nodded again.
"Huh...I've seen this rabbit around town a few times. He's actually fairly nice when you get to know him." Luna said, petting the bunny rabbit. "He really enjoys his carrots." Luna said.
"I can tell you've been taking real good care of Angel. Thank you for that." Fluttershy said.
"And so the pattern continues." Celestia said. "My own sister ends up taking care of a Bunny Rabbit Fluttershy owns." She added.
"Angel is much more then just my own personal pet. He's a really great friend of mine." Fluttershy said.
"I can tell why you would name him that. He is a little angel." Luna said.
"He does cause mischief sometimes though." Fluttershy said.
"Never seen it." Luna noted.
"If you would like to, I'm sure Angel will enjoy your company." Fluttershy said to Luna.
"You'd let me take care of him for you?" Luna asked.
"Yes. It's obvious that while you can't understand animals like I can, you do have a kindness towards them that nearly rivals my own." Fluttershy said.
"Your telling me. There was a timberwolf with a thorn in it's paw that Luna just took out and it was all better. Heck, it was like a tamed puppy afterwards." Spitfire said.
"You tamed a Timberwolf?!" Fluttershy exclaimed.
"Not really tamed persay. Just came to an understanding with it." Luna said.
"Still, that's quite the feat. Not even I was able to communicate with those things let alone become friends with one." Fluttershy said.
"Wouldn't say we're friends freinds." Luna noted. Suddenly out from the Everfree forest, a timberwolf suddenly jumped out an started licking Luna like crazy.
"Hey, that's the same timberwolf from before." Spitfire noted.
"What is it doing out here though?" Celestia wondered. The timberwolf went back to the forest after a bit.
"What was that about? Was it thanking me properly from before?" Luna asked.
"Perhaps. Like I thought, you have a kindness towards animals that rivals my own." Fluttershy said.
"Thanks for the vote of confidence." Luna noted.
"Wonder if Luna will become friends with that Timberwolf in the future..." Spitfire wondered.
"Maybe. You never know what could happen in the future." Lucky Star said.
"Well maybe you can show me around your old house while we're here Fluttershy." Luna said.
"Oh yes! I think that'll be a great idea~" Fluttershy said.
Dear Princess Twilight Sparkle
Today Fluttershy came over and showed us around her old house. It was a nice thing, getting to explore an old home of one of the Original Five.
Though that's not all; the timber wolf Luna met as we were going to grab the Elements of Harmony suddenly came out and started licking Luna's face. If Fluttershy and Angel the Bunny Rabbit are anything to go by, then ponies can become friends with animals just as well as other ponies. I honestly can't wait to see where things go from here.

"Seems things with the Original Five visiting the elements are developing in ways I doubt even you expected, huh Twily?" Princess Sunset teased the purple alicorn.
"Actually I had a feeling this sort of thing would develop. Call it instinct." Princess Twilight said.

"Maybe, but coming up this weakened is the Young Fliers compitition. That'll the perfect time to see if Rainbow Dash is right about Spitfire." Princess Twilight said.

"You think you'll be able to pull off the Sonic Rainboom again?" Luna asked.
"I've been giving things 110% in practice. I should be able to. I just wish everyone could come." Spitfire said.
"Celestia said she needed everyone but me and you at Sweet Apple Acres today for some reason." Luna said.
"Let's check it out then." Spitfire said.
"Any problems yet Buttercup?" Celestia asked, staring at a cloud as Spitfire and Luna came into the area, seeing their friends, Anny Smith, and Bright Mac but no Buttercup.
"Nope. Ah reackon the spell works." Buttercup's voice rang out.
"Where's Buttercup?" Spitfire asked. Everypony pointed up at the cloud hovering over them. "Wait what? How is she standing on a cload?! Only Pegasi can do that." She added.
"Princess Twilight sent a letter that included a spell for cloudwalking. This way, I can use my Unicorn Magic to grant everyone whose not a pegasus who wants to go watch you at the Young Fliers competition can. That includes all of your friends." Celestia noted.
"And I figured since Buttercup's going, Bright Mac and I could go with too." Apple Smith said.
"Wow. Looks like it's working well." Spitfire said.
"I need a bigger cloud though to test a group cast." Celestia noted.
"I'm on it." Spitfire said. She flew off and came back with a much bigger cloud. From here, Celestia casted the same spell on herself, Cookie Crumbles, Chiffon Swirls, and Buttercup.
"Luna, get us on that cloud." Celestia told her sister. Luna nodded and helped everyone there. the spell seemed to be sticking.
"Looks like it's working!" Buttercup said.
"This is great! Now we'll all be able to go and cheer on Spitfire at the competition." Chiffon Swirls said. Cookie Crumbles was looking a bit down.
"What's up Cookie? Is something the matter?" Celestia asked.
"Well...it's just that...I always wondered what it was like to fly." Cookie Crumbles said.
"Well, I do have a spell that could grant you wings temporarily if that's what your asking for. But do know, that it'll override the Cloudwalking spell." Celestia said.
"That's all well and good that you found a way to cheer on your friend, Celestia." Apple Smith said as she and Bright Mac soon came up to the cloud. "But how are ya gonna get to the colosseum?" Apple Smith asked.
"I...didn't think that far ahead..." Celestia said.
"Well, lucky for you, I've got a solution." Bright Mac said. Luna helped everyone down and they followed Apple Smith and Bright Mac to a big hot air balloon. "You gals can use this. It's been here at the barn for who knows how long collecting dust otherwise." Bright Mac said.
"Thanks Big Mac. This is perfect. I know how to work one of these things." Chiffon Swirls said. "In fact, I think I'm the only pony in Ponyville who happens to be a licensed Hot Air Balloon Pilot." she added.
"Doesn't Pinkie Pie from Canterlot also have a Hot Air Balloon Pilot's license?" Luna asked her sister.
"She does, but we shouldn't need to bother her if we don't have to." Celestia said.
"...Good point sister..." Luna agreed.
The next day, Cookie Crumbles still wanted wings so Celestia gave her a pair of them. She did use the cloudwalking spell on the rest of the non-pegasi and soon, the group was at Cloudsdale Colosseum, where the Young Fliers competition was being held.
"Well, this is the day. Wish me luck." Spitfire said.
"HEY SPITFAIL!" A male voice said.
"Oh no..." Spitfire said. Soon three stallions showed.
"...Hoops, Thunderlane, and Wind Rider..." Luna noted.
"You should just go home now. Because there's no way your going to win, Spitfail." Thunderlane said.
"Oh yeah? I'll show you! I'll show you all!" Spitfire said.
"Show us what? You crashing into part of the colosseum like you did with that safety railing back in flight school?" Wind Rider said.
"Is something going on over here?" Another, much older male voice said. Spitfire recognized that voice.
"SOARIN WINDS OF THE WONDERBOLTS?!" Spitfire and the three stallions said as said stallion showed up.
"You three should know, that if anyone is caught bullying or belittling other competitors, it makes for an automatic disqualification." Soarin said.
"We were just...wishing Spitfire the best of luck." Hoops said.
"Yeah. No reminding of someone's past failures going on here." Thunderlane said.
"Nope. Nothing like that at all." Wind Rider said.
"Good. Because I'd hate to have to have all three of you disqualified." Soarin said before flying off.
"...You got lucky, Spitfail, but mark our words, you still don't have a chance." Hoops said.
"YEAH!" Both of the other stallions said before the trio left.
"Why are they reminding you of that? A bunch of bullies is what they are." Celestia said.
"I'm going to show them. I'll show everyone." Spitfire said.
Spitfire was nervous through the whole thing, and Cookie Crumbles showed off a bit too much. It caused her to fly too high to the sun which melted her fake wings. During her fall, Rainbow Dash, Soarin, and Scootaloo dove after Cookie Crumbles but she struggled and knocked them all out. Acting quickly, Spitfire dove after them, and unleashed a Sonic Rainboom saving the group.
Afterwards, there was a bit of a celebration as Spitfire was crowned the winner of the competition by Princess Twilight, and what's more, the three so called "bullies" decided to join in and make nice with Spitfire. Still, Spitfire got her day with the Wonderbolts as promised.
But above all else, Cookie Crumbles learnt one thing in regard to friendship: You shouldn't try to upstage your own friends and try not to let something change the way you are.
"So, do you think those three will shape up and fly right from here on out?" Princess Sunset asked.
"I think they will." Princess Twilight said.
"...You know, I never wanted to upstage you right?" Princess Sunset asked.
"I know that, my dear Sunny." Princess Twilight said. Princess Sunset blushed.
"Twily stop that..." The orange alicorn shot back. The two shared a laugh as they left the area.
Author's Note
Yeah, I doubt anyone saw me replacing Dumbell and Score with Thunderlane and Wind Rider respectively. Though I will say, I had a hard time making Thunderlane a total jerk here. Mostly because I believe he'd be a great guy. But this is the Reversed Roles world, so I have to make him a jerk. No way was I going to go full on replace though and make Soarin be one of the bullies.

Season 1: Episode 16 Bonus - The New Manager
It was now the day after, and Rainbow Dash was working her way through Paper Work with some help from her wing pony Scootaloo. The orange mare was insitant on helping out as Rainbow Dash wanted to go out on a date with Soarin later today.
"Hopefully we'll be able to finish this quickly." Scootaloo said.
"Yeah. I didn't think I'd want to date somepony, but Soarin...he just feels right you know?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Don't worry, I get it. I personally think Soarin Winds is the perfect choice for you, big sis." Scootaloo said. Rainbow Dash smiled. The two were sisters, that was for sure. Thanks to Twilight using the same spell on Scootaloo that she used on Rainbow Dash once Scootaloo was old enough. There was a knock at the door.
"It's open." Rainbow Dash said. A young mare soon entered the room.
"So, your Captain Rainbow Dash, am I right?" The mare asked.
"I know you. Your Lightning Dust right? We met a few years ago when you were just a little filly. You've grown quite a bit since then, you know." Rainbow Dash said.
"That's right. I'm actually here because of Crescent Moon's passing a few weeks ago." Lightning Dust said.
"Crescent Moon...he was a good manager. He understood the fact that Wonderbolts were ponies first, celebrities second." Rainbow Dash said. "He'll be missed for sure." She added.
"Well, it just so happens, I've taken the job offer to be the new Wonderbolts Manager." Lightning Dust said.
"Really? That's nice." Rainbow Dash said.
"So, what do you want to ask me?" Lighting Dust asked.
"...I beg your pardon?" Scootaloo asked.
"Well, there's got to be an interview for the job somehow, right?" Lightning Dust said.
"Actually Lightning Dust, the way your going to land this job is a bit different." Rainbow Dash said.
"How so? Surely it can't be that different." Lightning Dust said.
"You'll get three weeks as the new Wonderbolts Manager. During that time, you will be allowed the same privileges as if you had the job but remember, no lineup changes without asking me first. That was part of the agreement between Crescent Moon and myself." Rainbow Dash said as Scootaloo handed Lightning Dust a sheet of paper listing the privileges on it.
"And what happens after those three weeks?" Lightning Dust asked.
"That depends on you. If you do a good enough job at filling Crecent Moon's shoes the right way, then you have the job locked in. And if not, your fired but you'll get compensated for your time spent. That's the way he wanted things to go after all. It was in his will and everything. He wants his replacement to share the same sentiments he did." Rainbow Dash said. Lightning Dust smiled.
"Crescent Moon was my idol growing up. I'll do what I can to live up to his memory." Lightning Dust said.
"Well then Lightning Dust, welcome to Wonderbolt HQ." Scootaloo said.
"So...would you like some help with that Paperwork? I bet there's someplace you'd like to be sooner rather than later." Lightning Dust said.
"...Lightning Dust, I have a feeling your going to be just fine here. We'll see how things go though." Rainbow Dash said.

Season 1: Episode 17 - Royalty in Ponyville
"This will be my first time hosting a party for the two princess lovers on much better terms." Chiffon Swirls said.
"Not to mention the entire High Council and other related members such as the rest of the Original Five." Spitfire said.
"Plus my friend from Princess Twilight's school who is escorting Fluttershy ahead of everypony else." Celestia said. The doorbell rang and Luna let in Lucky Star and Fluttershy.
"Sorry I can't stay long you guys. I'd love to get to know you all but...I have a tutor session with a struggling student for Princess Twilight's School." Lucky Star said.
"Wait your a tutor now?" Celestia asked.
"Yep. It just felt right." Lucky Star answered.
"Go for it. And make a lot of kids happy." Celestia said.
"I will." Lucky Star said and left.
"She's a good egg." Moondancer said as she came in shortly after Lucky Star left. "Heh heh...she'll be a good tutor, I can tell." She added.
"I have the same faith." Celestia said. Suddenly Cozy Glow showed up.
"Wait, I thought only the lovers, the high council, and the original five were coming?" Chiffon Swirls asked.
"Just grabbing some grub to go for a friend." Cozy Glow said before taking a few things and teleporting away.
"We got plenty of food for the event, don't worry." Buttercup said, putting out a few more pies.
"That certainly looks like a lot." Applejack said as she and Pinkie Pie came in alongside Starlight as well.
"Starlight Glimmer..." Mr. Cake said, looking dead straight at the unicorn.
"Oh...um...fancy meeting you here, Mr. Cake." Starlight said, nervous suddenly.
"You know her?" Celestia asked.
"All too well. How'd she get on the high council? I have half a mind to tell whatever district you represent all about what you tried to do with Ponyville." Mr. Cake said.
"Mr. Cake, I know you have some rough history with Starlight, but everypony can assure you that past is her past with zero reason for it to come back." Pinkie Pie said.
"...I don't trust her. High council or not. I think I'll give that district's mayor a call." Mr. Cake said but when he turned around, there was Princess Twilight. "Y-your highness..." Mr. Cake gulped.
"...She already knows." Princess Twilight said. "After all, she was instrumental in Starlight's reformation. Mayor Cadence knows all too well about Starlight's past. In fact, I daresay without her, Starlight wouldn't even be on the high council." She added.
"Mi Amore Cadenza?!" Moondancer asked from nearby; now paying attention to the unfolding scene. "Oh hi your highness. I thought you'd be coming later." She added.
"Cadence is a good friend of mine. And the best foal sitter ever." Princess Twilight said.
"Gee...you sure get around Princess Twilgiht." Spitfire said.
"Now, I better go make sure my wife isn't being forced into a dress while I'm away from Rarity." Princess Twilight said before teleporting away.
"And she's gone." A pegasus stallion said.
"Mr. Accord, it's nice to meet you. I hear you hail from far off lands." Apple Smith said.
"Please don't bother. I'm afraid I have eyes for a different mare." Accord said as Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo came in.
"Scootaloo, what are you doing here?" Spitfire asked.
"Just wanted to make sure you had enough food for two extras." Scootaloo said as Soarin came in too. "...Because my sis decided to bring both me and a current boyfriend." Scootaloo added.
"Remember, no autographs right now." A mare said as she walked in. "Well, without good reason of course." She added.
"Didn't think you'd make it, Lightning Dust." Rainbow Dash said.
"Gotta make sure no one asks for autographs. Ponies first, celebrities later after all." Lightning Dust said.
"I don't think you'd have to worry about that for anyone besides Spitfire, and she did just save Rainbow Dash from falling to her death during the young fliers competition after all." Celestia said.
"I'm well aware of that fact." Lightning Dust said.
"I'm happy enough that Captain Rainbow Dash is even here. Being able to eat with her at this party would be enough for me." Spitfire said.
"Well we're here as ponies and not as Wonderbolts so, why not?" Soarin asked.
"Yeah, if you want to sit with us, your more than welcome to." Rainbow Dash said.
"It'll be an honor!" Spitfire said.
Heh...yeah she wants to be a Wonderbolt. I just hope Rainbow Dash is right about getting her in the academy for next year's group. I want it to be the right call. Lightning Dust thought to herself.
"Oh it'll be our honor to--" Chiffon swirls started to say before Spitfire covered her mouth.
"To enjoy some time with the high council, the original five, and the two princesses that could make it." Spitfire concluded for her friend. "And if the Wonderbolts want to party like normal ponies, all the better." She added.
"You have my attention." Lightning Dust said and started to make sure things were going smoothly.
"Spitfire, why did you..." Chiffon Swirls said.
"Surprise, remember?" Spitfire whispered to her friend.
"Oh right. I forgot about that." Chiffon Swirls said. Finally the two princesses and Rarity showed up.
"Right, now it's time to party." Luna said.
The party lasted for quite some time but there was a surprise for the party guests coming up.
"Seeing as you have all taken time out of your busy days to attend this party, let us Elements of Harmony now treat you to an after-party show." Celestia said. "Please follow me outside." She added.
"What now? I didn't see any paper work about an after party show?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"There wasn't any. This is news to me. I don't think the Wonderbolts are participating in this show." Lightning Dust said.
"Now that you mention it, I did notice the elements leaving for brief moments of time throughout the party." Soarin said.
"Wait...are they..." Scootaloo said as they were now all outside with Celestia acting as host.
"And now without further delay, the Elements of Harmony would like to treat the princesses, the high court, the attending Wonderbolts, and the original five with a show of our own." Celestia said.
The Elements of Harmony then proceeded to start with Buttercup leading the charge with some rope tricks, Luna having a few animals do a pyramid, Cookie Crumbles showing off a few of her designs with the help of some ponyville residents, Celestia performing a few magic miracles, and ending off with Spitfire doing some arial maneuvers of her own. Throughout the show, Chiffon Swirls kept the guests well hydrated, adding to the show in her own way. After the show was fully over, Lightning Dust did approach Spitfire before the Wonderbolts went off.
"Rainbow Dash wasn't kidding about you. You keep that sort of skill up, I can defiantly see you joining the ranks of the full-fledged Wonderbolts." Lightning Dust said.
"Thanks." Spitfire said.
"Don't get lax now between now and the academy you got that? Only the best of the best from the academy get to make it into the Wonderbolts." Lightning Dust said. "And trust me, competition is going to be harsh." She added.
"You won't have to worry about me stopping my own personal training." Spitfire said. Celestia looked over with a smile. She was glad Spitfire got to give out her surprise.
"So, I'm guessing this was the surprise Friendship Lesson you told me about." Princess Twilight said.
"Yep. Spitfire had a feeling a couple of the Wonderbolts would show up." Celestia said. "That's why me and the others wanted to help Spitfire let the Wonderbolts be on the receiving end of a show for a change." She added. "That's why the friendship lesson here was that friends help friends." The white unicorn said.
"Well said Celestia; well said." Princess Twilight said, giving her student a wing hug alongside her lover. Princess Sunset smiled as she really liked this filly; Celestia reminded Sunset of Twilight.

Season 1: Episode 18 - Teacher Day
The main six were outside of a school building; one that Celestia stood in awe of.
"So this is Ponyville Elementry. I have to admit, it does give off that rustic Ponyville charm." Celestia said.
"Yep. This is where Chiffon Swirls and I went to school when we were kids." Cookie Crumbles said. "Sadly, tomorrow will begin the last year of Miss Cheerilee's teacher career." She added.
"How many times do I need to tell you, Cookie Crumbles." A female voice said before a seemingly boarderline old looking dark pink earth pony showed up. "You can just call me Cheerilee now. You've long since graduated from my classes." The mare said.
"It's out of respect, Miss Cheerilee. After all, you were; and always will be; the best school teacher we've ever had." Chiffon Swirls said.
"It does my old heart some good that you girls think so highly of me." Cheerilee said.
"You've clearly earned it." Moondancer's voice could be heard before the unicorn arrived with what seemed to be a Pegasus mare.
"Moondancer, what are you doing here?" Celestia said.
"I've taken a bit of time off today as Marelee is the daughter of the sister of the flight School instructor." Moondancer said. "And the two of us; Marelee's mother and I that is; are old friends." She added.
"I just wanted to do something different from my auntie. Besides, I would prefer to want to teach a more diverse set of children over just Pegasi." Marelee said. On Marelee's neck was a gold medal.
"Oh...my...goodness!" Cookie Crumbles was in awe. "IS THAT A MEDAL FROM MANEHATTEN UNIVERSITY; THE MOST PRESTIGE SCHOOL IN EQUESTRA?!" She exclaimed.
"You bet. The gold is a high honors medal." Marelee said.
"...What's so special about Manehatten university?" Celestia asked.
"What's so special about Manehatten University? WHAT'S SO SPECIAL ABOUT MANEHATTEN UNIVERSITY?!" Cookie Crumbles shouted. "It's the most well-known university for teachers; anyone who graduates from that place is guaranteed to land any teaching career they want. And that goes especially double for anyone whose smart enough to graduate with high honors." The unicorn mare explained.
"If that's the case then...isn't Marelee essentially overqualified? You know, for being an elementary school teacher?" Luna asked.
Cookie Crumbles opened her mouth to counter before pausing. "...You know, now that you bring it up...yeah. I guess you would be correct on that front." The unicorn admitted.
"Don't care if she's overqualified or not." Spitfire said. "So long as she knows what she's in for." She added.
"Don't worry. I do." Marelee said with a smile.
"I really hope that I can trust my sister in your hooves starting next year, Marelee." Spitfire said.
"That's right, you have a sister who'll be entering into school starting tomorrow. Ah almost forgot about that." Buttercup said. "Especially since my fiance's sister will be in the same class." She added.
"As would be my cousin." Cookie Crumbles said.
"Ah yes, Apple Tiara and Silver Belle right? I'm sure I'll have my hands full with those two. I won't allow bullying in my classroom." Cherilee said.
"Bullying is the worst for kids." Marelee agreed.
"...I have a feeling your sister's going to be just fine, Spitfire." Celestia said.
"I know. I still can't help but worry though. She is my little sister after all." Spitfire said.
"Here's hoping she can gain some friends of her own though." Luna admitted.
"Yeah. Making friends at that young of an age is crucial." Celestia agreed. "Just take me and Lucky Star for example." She added.
"That is a great example Celestia. Seems you've learnt quite a bit." Moondancer said.
Dear Princess Twilight,
While I may not have anything new to report on friendship, today brought up a conversation that reminded me of my school friend Lucky Star and how the two of us became friends because we went to the same school and because we clicked with each other. Cookie Crumbles and Chiffon Swirls are the same, going to Ponyville Elementry as kids and becoming friends that way. Same deal with Luna and Spitfire.
It's a reminder that the sooner in your life you make friends, the better off you'll be. And maybe that's the lesson I have learnt about friendship: That friendship can be started as early as one's own childhood and with just about anypony you happen to meet as stated by the examples I've given. I can't wait to see just who Spitfire's sister clicks with when she starts school tomorrow. And maybe, just maybe, I'll drop an extra lesson after a few days.

"She's doing good as a tutor, isn't she?" Sunset asked.

Season 1: Episode 19 - The Crystal Couple Part 1
"Sombra, thank you so much for coming to see me." Princess Twilight said to a black stallion behind her. "How is your wife, Raidient Hope, handling?" She asked.
"The baby is going to come any day now. You know, I never can thank you enough, Twilight. For everything. You and Sunset both." The Black Stallion said.
5 years before Sunset Shimmer's Banishment
"What is happening?" A Unicorn version of Sunset Shimmer said.
"I do not know. For some reason, the Queen known as Queen Amore has started to brainwash her subjects into total obedience and enslaved them." Princess Twilight; who was not as tall as present day; said to her lover.
"Please, you have to help my coltfriend." Radiant Hope said. "He said he was going to try and defeat Queen Amore, but I do not think he can do it alone. Please, you must help him." She added.
"We will Radiant Hope." Princess Twilight said. She and Sunset managed to find a younger version of Sombra battling with Queen Amore. Sunset acted and started helping Sombra.
"Who dares interupt me?!" Princess Amore exclaimed.
"I am Sunset Shimmer, wife of Princess Twilight the Princess of Friendship. We have come here to put an end to your reign of terror, Queen Amore and free the crystal ponies from your brainwashed control!" Sunset Shimmer said.
"A wimp like you could never hope to best an Alicorn." Queen Amore said. At one point during the fight between Sunset Shimmer and Queen Amore, Sunset began to glow and suddenly was enveloped in a bright light. "WHAT IS THIS?!" Queen Amore shouted as she looked upon Sunset Shimmer who has suddenly ascended into an Alicorn.
"Sunset Shimmer...thanks to your desire to free the Crystal Ponies, you have ascended and become the Princess of Freedom." Twilight said.
"Princess of Freedom...not a bad title. It goes well with Friendship." Sunset noted before resuming her battle.
However, the battle was taken outside the empire where Sombra and Radiant Hope noticed something happening to the empire as Sunset trapped Queen Amore in the ice.
"The crystal empire!" Radiant Hope exclaimed as the empire suddenly vanished.
"No..." Sombra said. "Our home..." He added sadly. Twilight and Sunset comforted.
"In her final act, it seems Queen Amore has made the empire vanished." Twilight stated.
"I'm sorry...I did all I could." Sunset said.
"It's not your fault. Will the empire ever return?" Radiant Hope asked.
"It will. And when it does, we'll be ready for Queen Amore who will no doubt return as well." Twilight said. "Until that day comes, you are welcome in our country." She said.
"I think we'll accept that offer." Sombra said.
"Agreed." Radiant Hope said. "So long as I am with Sombra, I would gladly go anywhere." She said.
"Hope..." Sombra said as he and his marefriend embraced one another.
"Next time the Crystal Empire comes, we'll be ready." Sunset said.
"Agreed." Twilight said, and embraced her own marefriend.
Present Day
"I'm so glad that Sunset is back now. So, was there something you wished to talk to me about, Twilight?" Sombra asked.
"Yes. You and Radiant Hope have been noticeably not been okay here in Canterlot. As one of the ruling Princesses, it's my duty to notice these things." Twilight said. "I've spoken with the High Council, if you want to go somewhere else, perhaps you'd be willing to try Ponyville." She added.
"That would be ideal. Yes, we just don't feel comfortable here Twilight. Me and my wife really can't thank you enough." Sombra said.
"It's why I'm sending Starlight and Trixie with you to help you pick out a place in Ponyville. Perhaps, you can even make friends with my student." Twilight said.
"It would be an honor to, Twilight." Sombra said.
My dearest student Celestia,
Two good friends of mine will be escorting two people who me and Sunset took care of for as best as we could. But they are not confortable being in Canterlot.
As such, they are moving to Ponyville, and it is my hope that you and your friends can become their friends. They are both really good friends of mine, and I hope the same can go for you as well.
Think of this not as a test, but as a way for you to check your progress in how much you've learnt so far in regards to friendship and the lessons you've learnt so far.

Back in Ponyville, Celestia was all giddy as she and her friends were waiting at Ponyville's Train Station. "Sis, I know your excite to be meeting some friends of Princess Twilight, but please, calm yourself." Luna said.
"Ms. Apple Smith has a few sapples of home-made food to help welcome them and everyone else has their own things to welcome this new couple to Ponyville." Buttercup said.
"I'm surprised both Apple Smith and Carrot Cake allowed for time off for this." Cookie Crumbles said.
"Well it's not everyday we have new ponies, and Celestia wants to see if we can get together with the new residents." Chiffon Swirls said.
"True, it would allow us to see how far we've all come." Spitfire said. Soon the train arrived.
"I can't wait to see who these two new ponies are. I have so many ideas." Celestia said. Sombra and Radiant Hope soon stepped off the train which made Celestia go wide eyed. "N-no way..." Celestia said.
"Hi, I hope we're not interrupting anything." Radiant Hope said.
"Y-you...your..." Celestia's eyes were on Radiant Hope mostly. "Your Radiant Hope..." The white unicorn finished.
"That's right. And this here is my husband. I present to you Sombra, master of Dark Magic." Radiant Hope said.
"It's a pleasure to meet you all." Sombra said with a smile.

Season 1: Episode 20 - The Crystal Couple Part 2
Starlight and Trixie started moving packages into a house marked as "sold" as Celestia was acting all giddy like a school girl while looking at Sombra and Radiant Hope.
"I can't believe I'm meeting with Radiant Hope! Your known for being the only true immortal unicorn in Equestria!" Celestia said.
"Actually my life-span is tied to my husbands. But not thanks to Twilight Sparkle." Radiant Hope said.
"Wait what? Then how did your life-span get tied to your husband?" Luna asked, genially curious.
"It was my doing using Dark Magic. I have become the certified mage on the matter in fact." Sombra said.
"Isn't Dark Magic restricted to Alicorns like the princesses?" Buttercup asked.
"It is Buttercup. Because it can corrupt one's own mind. Makes a unicorn become nearly identical in strength to an Alicorn but the mind of an evil tyrant." Cooke Crumbles said.
"Somebody tell Sombra that; because he seems normal to me." Spitfire said.
"That's because I'm a crossbreed between a normal pony and an umbra. Umbra used to be normal ponies who lived in the crystal empire until the tyrant Queen Amore cursed them into shadow beings. But before they were sealed away, one Umbra Male had sex with a Crystal Pony mare. That mare was my biological mother who was killed by the Queen, but not before hiding me away and hiding me in plain sight amongst the foals. That's where I met Radiant Hope. And thanks to my powers, I shielded her from Queen Amore's massive brainwashing of the other crystal ponies." Sombra said. "Because of that, I am the only unicorn who bypasses the law on authority of Princess Twilight Sparkle." He added.
"So because they were made into shadow beings, Umbra are immune to the normal corrupting effects of dark magic." Celestia confirmed to which Sombra nodded.
"And being half Umbra gives me the same immunities." Sombra said.
"What's more, is that I happen to be pregnant with Sombra's child. It won't be long until I deliever at that." Radiant Hope said.
"A FOAL?! WE'RE GOING TO WITNESS THE BIRTH OF A FOAL?!" Buttercup exclaimed, dumbstruck.
"That's correct. Your very welcome to come meet the little bundle of joy when it's time." Radiant Hope said.
"It is my belief that our child will grow in a caring neighborhood. I want him or her to grow up in a place where friendship shines bright." Sombra said.
"Well not to worry Sombra; you won't find a friendlier place then Ponyville." Celestia said.
"Things are all moved in." Starlight said.
"We gotta head back. Catch you six another time." Trixie said waving off as she and Starlight left.
"Well ah reckon the two of you must be hungry; Radiant Hope included. Come on you two, we're taking you to Sugarcube corner for a welcome to ponyville party and a banquet." Buttercup said.
"Oh that sounds delightful. A very good way to get to know the locals, don't you agree, Sombra?" Radiant Hope asked.
"Indeed it does Hope; indeed it does." Sombra said.
The party was very jam packed, but many ponies gave their wellwishes and were all very receptive of both Sombra and Radiant Hope alike. Soon, the sun began to set on what seemed to be a day that went on forever.
"Well this was a very good party. We only wish we could stay longer." Radiant Hope said.
"That's right. But consider us your friends." Sombra said.
"Really? Even though we didn't talk much at the party?" Celestia asked.
"But of course. After all, good people make good friends, don't you agree, Celestia?" Sombra asked.
Celestia smiled. "You know...I think you're on to something." She said.
Dear Princess Twilight
Today me and my friends welcomed Sombra and Radiant Hope to the town of Ponyville. They are both really good folk who really could use a friendly environment like Ponyville. And I hope me and my friends can help them feel welcome here. Sombra mentioned that good people make good friends, and I can't help but think he was onto something with that.
And he and Radiant Hope taught me something about friendship that I could never expect: Even the most unlikely of friendships can turn out for the best, and nothing will prove that better then the foal Radiant Hope will give birth to: One with the blood of a pony and an umbra just like his or her father. I honestly can't say for sure if it'll be a filly or a colt. And I honestly can't wait.
No matter which way the foal will turn out, he or she will be the perfect capsize to a tale of friendship from the most unlikely Crystal Couple in the history of anything that turned into something far, far greater. And perhaps, one day that same kind of ultimate fulfillment awaits me and my friends with somepony special too. Only time can really tell. A foal of your own with somepony special...it's the ultimate result of a friendship turned into something more. And now, Sombra and Radiant Hope are going to fulfill that for themselves.

P.S.: I can't believe I'm thinking about foals at my age. Guess the, whole thing with Sombra and Hope really gets to me. I couldn't be happier for them.
A tear escapes Twilight's eye as she looks over a photo of a young orange filly. "Trust me, my student..." Twilight said. "I know exactly how that feels. It was something I had before Discord did his thing." She added. Next to Twilight in the photo was a stallion; both ponies holding the orange filly in their hooves. "...I just hope nothing happens that threatens the child of Hope and Sombra like it did with my own, provided by former captain Flash Sentry." Twilight said. "The accident didn't just claim the lives of my parents, it claimed the lives of my daughter and her father too." She added before putting the photo away and turning off the lights to the room.
Author's Note
Brief Flashlight mention, where it's implied that Flash Sentry was Twilight's special somepony before Sunset before he and the daughter he had with Twilight were killed in the same accident that killed the Twilight Velvet and Night Light of this universe. Regardless, after this, got one last episode to close out the season, and considering I've mentioned everything about it briefly before, now I go in depth and show you just how this universe's Cozy Glow became an alicorn.

Season 1: Episode 21 - Cozy Glow's Backstory
Cozy Glow was looking at the night sky before closing her eyes, her mind went back to when she became an alicorn.
Five years after Sunset's Banishment...
"Ugh...what's with the older ponies of this town?" Cozy Glow; who at this time was still a pegasus; said as she watched the adult ponies of the town be in one of their usual cival war brawls. "Every day it's the same old thing, they keep fighting over land disputes." Cozy Glow said.
"Psst." A unicorn colt nearby said. Cozy Glow looked to him. "Follow me." The colt said and ran off with Cozy Glow right behind.
The pink pegasus soon discovered a place underground, where there were many foals around. "What...what is this place?" Cozy Glow said.
"This is the only place we kids can feel safe. After little Timmy got killed by accident during one of the adults brawls, I've been gathering fillies and colts alike to hide down here." The colt from earlier said.
"All of you...all of you are being effected negatively by the adults feuding..." Cozy Glow said.
"It's not like we can do anything about it. Adults are too stubburn to come to a compromise." A nearby earth filly said.
"Have...any of you ever tried to talk to the adults about this?" Cozy Glow asked.
"And what? Get accidently killed like Timmy?" A pegasus colt asked. "No way dude; it's too dangerous for one of us to even try." He said.
"...Only one huh?" Cozy Glow asked. "But what if you all go? What if you all approuched them?" She asked. Suddenly every foal in the bunker turned to her.
"...Kid, what's your name?" The unicorn colt who led Cozy Glow down to the bunker asked.
"My name's Cozy Glow and despite--" Cozy Glow tried to say but was interupted.
"Cozy Glow, you are a genius! If we all go, we can all show the adults that their fighting is negatively impacting us! Hail Cozy Glow, savior of the town!" The Unicorn Colt said.
"HAIL COZY GLOW, SAVIOR OF THE TOWN!" The rest of the foals shouted. Cozy Glow no longer had the heart to tell them different now. She just smiled. For the first time in her life, she was going to do something big.
It didn't take long after that for the foals of the town to march up to the adults and grab their attention; from there the foals told the adults everything and it put an end once and for all to the civil war going on in the town.
Cozy Glow smiled as she watched the whole thing from the outskirts, holding a red chess piece. "Seems I'm just as good at working a crowd as I am in chess. I could get used to that." Cozy Glow said. Suddenly she glowed and vanished. When she reappeared, she was not in the outskirts of the town, but in some kind of realm. "What on Equees...where am I?!" Cozy Glow exclaimed.
"Greetings, one removed from time." A female voice called to Cozy Glow. Princess Twilight Sparkle soon approuched Cozy Glow.
"P-Princess Twilight Sparkle! It's an honor to meet you!" Cozy Glow said.
"The honor is all mine, young Cozy Glow I believe? Although, your not really all that young are you?" Twilight asked.
"...No...I'm three hundred nine years old." Cozy Glow noted.
"That was a sign Cozy Glow; a sign that the compatibility to become an alicorn were sleeping inside you, and thanks to your recent actions, they have awoken. But before they fully awaken, there are some...old friends you must meet." Twilight said. Suddenly the spirits of Cozy Glow's first five friends ever showed up.
"You...you guys? Your here? How?" Cozy Glow said.
"We may be dead Cozy Glow, but we never really left you." The first friend said.
"Yeah. We've been with you in your mind and in your heart." The second friend said.
"We never cared that you weren't growing old with us, we knew you had something special inside you." The third friend said.
"No friend can ever really disappear, so long as you keep them in your memory and in your heart." The fourth friend said.
"And what's more, when the time is right, you'll join us in the afterlife. Every last friend you made too." The fifth friend said. For the first time in over three hundred years, Cozy Glow cried.
"You...you guys..." Cozy Glow said before the spirits of her friends left. "...Princess Twilight, thank you. I...I needed them to tell me this..." She said. "I'll make more friends now. I owe it to their memory to do so." The pink pegasus said.
"That's exactly what I needed to hear Cozy Glow; as that was the last barrier to unlocking your ascension." Twilight said. Suddenly, Cozy Glow was enveloped by a large amount of magic before transforming into an Alicorn.
Present day...
"I'll never forget what you guys said to me. And I've made more friends since then. I'll see you all eventually. I promise." Cozy Glow said, as she stared teary eyed back up to the night sky. The faces of Cozy Glow's first five friends soon lit up the night sky as the scene closed.

...And that's how the first season closes off. It's one hell of a send-off to the first season, isn't it? What a way to end it if you ask me. With this, you now know exactly everything about this version of Cozy Glow and what exactly she's all about. Perhaps this information will shed some light on what happened with Cozy Glow that made her the way she is in modern day.

Story Prologue: The Many Worlds
The scene opens up to a cliff top overlooking the area where Twilight sent her student Luster Dawn into Ponyville. Here, a male anthro black fox was standing near the edge and was easily defying gravity. For he was no ordinary black fox. He was Rob Snowden, one of the most powerful beings in the multi-verse. His power was comparable to that of a god.
“In the 170 long years I’ve spent alive, I’ve come to see many things.” Rob began. “But what many don’t know is there are things that can change the way events play out and how they play out. It’s quantum physics. The many world interpretations. That is my reality.” He continued.
“I’ve seen worlds where evil wins, worlds where good triumphs, and everything in between. I have yet to come across something that has surprised me.” Rob added on. “At least not for long. There was one world that came close though.” He clearified.
The wind began to blow in the direction towards Twilight and her friends. “That world took me off guard, simply because it was a world where roles were reversed. It was my first encounter with such a world. So, you believe you know the story of Twilight Sparkle and Celestia? Well trust me, you haven’t heard it like this before…” Rob said.
Things began to change as time seemed to reverse and the world was shifted to another.
“I welcome you…” Rob began before vanishing.
”TO THE REVERSED ROLES WORLD!” Rob yelled out.

Season 1: Episode 2 Extra - The Warrior Princess
After classes ended, Celestia stumbled upon Princess Cozy Glow.
“Oh hey. Your Twilight’s student right?” Cozy Glow asked. Celestia’s eyes went wide.
“A-and your Princess Cozy Glow; known far and wide as the Warrior Princess. It’s thanks to your efforts as the Warrior Princess that ponies are able to sleep soundly at night without fear of warring invaders.” Celestia said.
“Wow…I didn’t even realize that my exploits as the Warrior Princess reached even filly ears.” Cozy Glow said before taking out a rook piece from chess. “Well I wasn’t always an Alicorn. I used to be this Pegasus who was a grand master of chess. Problem is is that I somehow could not age. I was 309 years old before I became an Alicorn. I was worried that I’d eventually lose my mind never able to make any friends for fear I’d outlive them all. One day, in my village, a civil war broke out between the east side and the west side. This war lasted for eleven months. At that point, I decided to recruit those who hated this civil war going on, and lead them into a protest against both sides. Those that I recruited were fillies of the village who hated seeing the grown-up fighting. After seeing the children being so effected by the civil war, the adults stopped warring. It was then that I became an Alicorn. At first, Twilight had no idea what royal title to give me. But soon I began stopping wars from continuing and even joined in battle injuring but never killing the other species of our world. As such, the populace named me the Warrior Princess. The title has stuck ever since and thanks to Twilight I no longer fear making friends with anyone who isn’t immortal.” Cozy Glow explained. “She saved me from myself before I became my own greatest enemy…” She added.
“Princess Twilight’s like that.” Celestia said. “By the way, my name is Celestia.”
“Celestia. Cute name. I’ll be seeing you around.” Cozy Glow said and flew off.

Decided to spend an extra chapter showing off how Cozy Glow functions in this world. Her manipulation from the original timeline is still here. It’s just been redirected to her being the Warrior Princess so there’s no danger of her being a terrible plot twist villain.

Season 1: Episode 7 - Cake & Cookies
"I have to admit Buttercup's mother-in-law makes Apple Pie way better then the chefs at Canterlot." Celestia said.
"It's all thanks to Mrs. Apple Smith's secret ingredient." Buttercup said. "Something she says is top secret information." She added.
"Well I suppose it is more homemade." Luna said.
"Well up next is Sugarcube Corner where our friend, Chiffon Swirls works." Spitfire said. "Chiffon Swirls also happens to be in charge of the party that'll happen after the Sun Celebration event." She added.
"I'd be happy to attend it." Celestia said. The foursome entered to see two more earth ponies working.
"Hiya Chiffon Swirls." Luna said.
"Oh Luna, it's good to see you. Whose your new friend?" Chiffon Swirls asked.
"This is my sister, Celestia." Luna said.
"It's nice to meet you, Swirls. You don't mind if I just call you Swirls do you?" Celestia asked.
"No not at all." Chiffon Swirls said. The stallion came over.
"Is there something your here for?" He asked.
"Hi Mr. Carrot Cake." Buttercup said. "Celestia here is just checking on preparations for the Sun Celebration event." She added.
"WHOOPS!" Chiffon Swirls accidently tripped as she was carrying four cupcakes, which got all over Celestia and Celestia only.
"...Okay how'd that miss us?" Spitfire asked.
"My apologies sir..." Chiffon Swirls said. Everyone noticed she slipped on something of Carrot Cake’s.
"Oh there's my wallet. This is my fault, Chiffon Swirls; I must have dropped it while we were busy making sure things would be ready for the after-party later." Carrot Cake said. "...Come to think of it, the place could use some cleaning up. Why don't you go out and let me get things cleaned up back here? I'm giving you permission to go to the Sun Celebration event with your friends. Oh and...find somewhere to get Celestia cleaned up would you?" He asked.
"Yes sir." Chiffon swirls said.
"Wow, your boss is pretty nice to you." Celestia said.
"He's the best boss I could ask for." Chiffon Swirls said. "Though one day, I'd like to be more then just his employee..." Chiffron Swirls said under her breath.
"Hmm? What was that?" Celestia asked.
"Oh um...just me talking to myself. Say, let's go over to Cookie Crumbles, she'll get you all washed up in a hurry." Chiffon Swirls said.
The five mares were now at Town Hall, where a lone Unicorn Mare stood.
She finished setting up the decorations before turning towards her friends and screaming at the sight of Celestia still covered in Cupcake batter.
"Yeah you can tell where we last were..." Spitfire said.
"Dear, we should get you cleaned up at once!" The mare said. A bit later, Celestia was in a bathtub, enjoying some time there. "So, your Luna's sister. It's an honor to meet you. I'm Cookie Crumbles." Cookie Crumbles said.
"And I am Celestia. It's a pleasure to meet you too." Celestia said.
"So your all done with the decorations huh? That's good. So, what do you say we all head to where Celestia is staying and have ourselves some bonding time. You know, to solidify our friendship with Luna's sister." Chiffon Swirls said.
"That would be nice. Ah'm sure Mrs. Apple Smith would understand." Buttercup said.
"You know she will. Like she said, it's not every day Princess Twilight's own student comes down to visit a place like this." Spitfire noted.
"You said it Spitfire." Luna said.
"Count me in. I'm all done with stuff so, when your ready, Celestia." Cookie Crumbles said. Celestia smiled.
The Unicorn Mare that was the student of Princess Twilight had no idea why the ruler of Equestria wanted her to make friends rather then worry about an obviously evil entity. But Celestia had no reason to question her mentor. Besides, Celestia figured it could be a back-up plan for Celestia to have help in case the Alicorn Princess could not stop Shining Flare.
...
If only she would've realized the real reason why, then maybe she'd know why her mentor was so instant on the Unicorn making friends.
For now, blissfully unaware of the battle to come, the six mares enjoyed plenty of games together, each one regalling Celestia with what they each knew about the five who were known to have helped Princess Twilight Sparkle form the High Coincil. To which, Celestia was all too happy to give her take on the same five mares.
Those mares being Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, and Fluttershy.

According the official MLP:FiM wiki, Mrs. Cup Cake's maiden name is Chiffon Swirls. While she and Carrot Cake are not yet married in this timeline, it is being heavily implied that she's in love with her boss. For those expecting Hondo Flanks to be part of this timeline, hate to say it but Hondo Flanks is being saved for something much later on.
