At a diner getting something to eat Jackpot was startled by Pinkie Pie who asked him out to her Heartswarming party on December 23rd he checked his planner and well he had to visit his nephew's birthday party but told her sure which she was excited for.

He ate a daffodil sandwich where he went on his way where he paid 8 bits for his sandwich and iced tea where he went on his way where he remembered on what Purple told him about Pinkie Pie and that is not to break a "Pinkie Promise" where last pony was found who broke a "Pinkie Promise" was well he was gutted like a fish.

He also told Jackpot about Pinkamena who's Pinkie's darker side.

Back at the police station he rubbed his hooves where he was called a pansy where the ponies of Ponyville are use to of having there hooves ache but heard the front door bust open where it's Purple using his magic to forcefully drag the pony into the station to be taken to booking and into a cell.

The expensive necklace he had broke off where he told Purple he's a dead stallion where Purple said "Yeah yeah yeah! Tell me a new threat not that I'm a dead pony that's kinda stale by now." he said to the criminal that the "You're a dead pony" is stale to him.

Jackpot asked on who's the lucky stallion where after Purple placed him into a cell he said "This is Angel Lock he's the son of the leader of Snow gang. There called the snow gang where the ponies have white fur either biological or dyed there fur to be white as snow. Don't ask me why." he said to Jackpot on who the perp who Purple arrested.

He told him that his mother or someone will kill them both where Purple yawned where he recieved more death threats then he could imagine but Jackpot asked Purple if it's okay if he can be with Blue Sapphire to go with her grocery shopping which he told her sure where she's going later at 2 where she's going to leave early and teleport.

At the Ponyville Supermarket Blue Sapphire was walking where there were 2 loud bangs and she fell down.

Several minutes later Purple and Jackpot seen a body bag zip up where they overheard a coroner say "Mare 23, Dark blue with light blue hair, Cutie mark a book with a sapphire gem. Cause of death 2 gunshot wounds to the back of the head." a coroner said while reading his notes about the mare.

Purple asked the coroner to see the body where he might know who the mare might be so the coroner opened the body bag where Purple held back his tears but stormed off where Jackpot asked on what's wrong where Purple told him sadly that the mare who was murdered execution style is Blue Sapphire.

Purple then punched a brick wall out of anger but he'll have to find a way to tell the kids that mom ain't coming home at all.

Jackpot bought Purple a ice cream cone to calm him down but lasagna been Purple's comfort food since he was 4 years old.

While walking around the 2 were hit very hard and were knocked out cold.

Hours later it's 9:30 PM but the 2 reawakened where there's a very pissed off pegasus mare who yelled at them wanting a apology and to release her son but Purple told her no he was arrested for selling dope on the side of the street so he did his job.

She used her back legs and bucked him right into the pool where she went over to him and asked if he's going to release her son or is he going to join his friend but soon Purple came up after breaking free where he dragged one of her Hench ponies into the pool, killing him and taking his gun.

Purple was still in the pool but used his magic to fire the gun but the leader fired her pistol where a bullet she fired hit Purple in the chest hitting the main artery where Jackpot said "Noooooooooo!" he yelled no after seeing his friend get shot and fall back into the pool.

Jackpot broke free of the chair and dived into the pool after Purple where he got him out where Purple just said "Tell Pontane and Savor that i and there mother loved them very much." he said which he and Blue Sapphire loves there son and daughter very much.

He then stopped breathing where Jackpot tried to keep him alive but nothing but soon heard running sounds where it's officers Thunder Blackhawk a Zebra stallion, Shadow Speed a Pegasus mare, Tornado Moonbat a Pegasus stallion, Air Guard a Pegasus mare, Soaring Air a Pegasus stallion who's Air Guard brother, Double Chain a Earth Pony stallion, Ascending Thunder Alicorn mare, Fury Banshee mare Pegasus, Demon Tiger a stallion Earth Pony, Couger Skynight Pegasus mare, Tiger Rainbow a mare Unicorn and Hustler Saber a stallion Pegasus.

They all looked at which was unbelievable which Purple was a very brave police officer and well they seen him as the type to take pain and dish out the same pain onto his enemies.

Captain Delta Logic a stallion Pegasus walked over and placed his right hoof onto Jackpot's left shoulder where Jackpot said "I'm sorry Purple wish i could've jumped in front of the bullet and took it for you." he said to Purple Artist's deceased body.

Half a hour later next to the coroner wagon Captain Delta Logic said "Officer's order hooves!" the captain said as both police ponies on both side took there right hoof to salute as 2 earth pony coroner's wheeled a gurney with Purple Artist's body covered with the Equestrian flag wheeled by.

At the coroner wagon Captain Delta Logic told them to "Execution hooves!" where they all placed there right hooves back onto the ground.

Jackpot said "Sorry Purple but i wish it was me that took the bullet!" he said before giving a salute to his dead best friend before the coroner's placed the gurney onto the wagon and went away.

In the morning at the police station the officer's Thud Rapider a Zebra mare, Star Fire a Earth Pony mare, Parish Farm a Earth Pony stallion, Blue Cloaker a Unicorn stallion, Blue Badge a Unicorn mare, Grouch Planter a Earth pony mare, Delta Dart a Pegasus mare and Delta Dagger a Pegasus mare (Delta Dart's twin sister) asked on where's Purple Artist where he's never late.

Blue Badge told them she'll stop by and see if he's home he maybe sick or he would've called or told Lieutenant Crusading Skyray/Skywing that the Missus or one of there kids maybe sick but she then noticed Jackpot looking down but in his red royal guard service uniform but the badge had a black ribbon over it.

Soon Lieutenant Crusading Skywing/Skyray came in also wearing a black ribbon on her her badge so Blue Badge asked on where's Purple where the Lieutenant she said with a sad voice "He isn't coming. He died last night in the line of duty to protect Jackpot he took a bullet to the artery and died before help could arrive." she said on where's Purple.

Jackpot got up and left the roll call room where he went into another room and cried his eyes out on the loss of a very good friend.

Back in the briefing room the Lieutenant she acted out of line and said "Any drug dealer or high risk criminal like robbers you use deadly force on them let's make a message to those criminals that when they kill one of us we will mop the floor with them!" the pegasus mare said out of line.

Jackpot soon returned but told them that on what she said won't honor Purple's memory where it'll be a dishonor where he knows that there's flaws in the justice system but putting them behind bars or better yet in a hole where they won't see Celestia's sun rise or set for the rest of there life!" he said that killing the drug dealers won't honor Purple Artist's memory but will bring dishonor his memory.

One of the officer asked on how his colt and filly are taking it where Jackpot told them that he hasn't told them yet where he don't know on how to tell them that there mom and dad ain't coming back.

Officer Parish Farm told him that he said "Mom" where Jackpot told them that Blue Sapphire was killed yesterday at 2:05 PM shot in the back of the head close range.

In the break room one of the unicorn officer's came in with a calendar and said "OK officer's listen up i made a calendar where on nights we don't have anything to do that's special we will take care of them. I already signed myself up for tonight i guess they can spend more time with there uncle "Uncle Blue Cloaker". Didn't mean to make that sound rude but i was there with the 2 when there daughter then son was born." Officer Blue Cloaker said to them that he made a calendar to watch Blue Sapphire and Purple Artist's children.

Jackpot said sadly "The Coroner did an autopsy and discovered that Blue Sapphire was pregnant with triplets i never seen Purple so happy yesterday he was very happy to learn that his wife was pregnant with triplets and they'll never raise triplets i seen them so happy and very excited yesterday morning." he said to them to make it sad on what that the 2 were happy to learn that she was pregnant but there both dead.

He just lowed there morale more where there already sad that there best friend is dead but that Blue Sapphire was pregnant with triplets that won't ever see the light of day but one of them got up and told Lieutenant Crusading Skyray the more depressing news.

At Sugar Cube Corner Jackpot entered to talk to Pinkie Pie where she's sad where she hugged Jackpot and told him that she's very sorry where she read a copy of the morning paper where there were 2 in the obituary page and the 2 were in it but Jackpot ordered 4 dozen cupcakes.

She told him it's on the house where she bought out the cupcakes where he took them back to the police station and ate them where they all had a cup of coffee either in there hoof, wing or magic and hit there mugs and said "TO PURPLE ARTIST MAY HE REST IN PEACE!" they all said clanking all of there coffee mugs against each other's before taking one big sip.

2 weeks later while out Jackpot was walking in the parking lot where he met the mare that killed his best friend again where he used his magic and pulled out his duel .38 revolvers and shot her to death where he placed his guns back and said "HOPE YOU BURN IN HELL YOU BITCH!" he said after killing her saying hoping she'll burn in hell.

He then went to there grave site and placed flower on them but he noticed flowers already there where he noticed a 29 year old stallion Pegasus in a black casual suit and a fedora had where the pegasus said "Sorry little brother on how i treated you when we were younger. Hope you sleep very tight baby brother and I'm sorry on how badly i treated you i love you baby brother!" said the ice berg blue pegasus in a suit.

Jackpot asked if it was Base which the pegasus told him it is where while looking at the double tombstone Jackpot heard a very loud bang where he looked over where Base offed himself on how badly he treated Purple in there youth where there only 8 years apart.
