Chapter 53: The Rainbow Realm of Monsters

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

Not Long after Pinkie Pie was cured of her Rainbow Pox, the girls were enlisted by Princess Luna to help hunt down a magical force that turned dreams into nightmares. One of the few times Sam and his team were powerless to stop the creature known as a Tantabus, leaving it to Princess Luna and the Ponies of Ponyville to stop the creature from escaping the realm of dreams and into the real world.

Once that was all taken care of, it wasn’t long before something else occurred. It was a nice sunny day in Ponyville, Sam was relaxing with Elena, laying on deck chairs, on Sam’s balcony. The two were enjoying each other’s company as usual.

“What a lovely day to do nothing by lying around,” Elena remarked.

“You said it,” Sam replied, “I’m not one for going outside…”

“That’s very true,” Elena chuckled, cutting Sam off. Sam just turned to look at her with a frown.

“But, I can admit when it’s a nice day,” he finished. Elena chuckled again, before groaning and clutching her head. This caught Sam’s attention fast. “Elena? Are you ok?” he asked in concern.

“I-I don’t know,” Elena replied, “I just suddenly got a bad headache, it feels like something is calling me or it’s a danger warning or some kind.”

“What?” Sam questioned, “Do you need any help?”

“No, no, I think I’m… AAHHH!” Elena cried in pain as she clutched her head again, “I feel like my head is splitting!”

Sam reached out to Elena, but once he touched her shoulder, a jolt of electricity shot through his body. “OW!” He cried. This snapped Elena out of her pain.

“Sam! Are you ok?” she asked.

“I think so,” Sam replied, “that must have been a static shock or something.”

“Well that’s ok, as long as I didn’t hurt you,” Elena replied.

“No, you’re fine,” Sam reassured her, “just took me by surprise.”

As if things couldn’t get any stranger, a Rainbow suddenly appeared in the sky. Sam, Elena and all the townsfolk saw it, and thought it was beautiful, however there was something strange about it. One factor was that the area under the rainbow started to ripple like water, or to be more accurate, a portal, as two monsters emerged from under the rainbow.

The first monster had sickle shaped blades on its arms, golden plating around its body and an alien structure to it. While the second had cattle like horns, a bovine face, three digits on its hands and a long tail with a row of spikes running down the centre. These were the Space Combat and Thunder Beasts, Super COV, and Super Pazuzu.

The moment the two monsters emerged, they looked around a little confused at first but then started to rampage and attack the area, firing lightning and energy blasts at trees and buildings. Super COV slammed its tail down on the ground causing the earth to rumble and crumble, while Super Pazuzu swung its tail around snapping trees and demolishing buildings. Ponies ran in fear as the monsters stomped forward, leaving destruction behind them in their path.

“Holy Luna!” Sam remarked, “Elena, I’m going to stop them. You, try and find some place to hide.”

“Alright, please be careful,” Elena told him.

“Aren’t I always?” Sam retorted before running off to battle the two behemoths. Elena was about to go and find some place safe, but just as she turned around, she turned back and looked towards the rainbow the two kaiju emerged from. She couldn’t describe the feeling she was having, but something about the Rainbow was mesmerising.

Back with Sam, he exited the castle and pulled out his Beta Capsule before pressing the button and transforming into Ultraman. He then ran towards the monsters, before slamming his body into the two to halt their trek forward. Ultraman would have been able to hold one back, but the combined strength of the two was too much and they started to push back against him. Twilight and some other unicorn charged forward from behind the monsters and fired bolts of energy at Super Pazuzu. The Monster cried in pain, and it stumbled back, with one monster’s weight off him, Ultraman pushed Super COV back.

Super Pazuzu roared in anger as it turned to face the ponies, its horns then started to bend and grow until they looped around and pointed forwards before firing lightning from them at the unicorns. The ponies screamed and ran away from the lightning, fortunately, they all managed to avoid the bolts. Once Pazuzu turned back around to face Ultraman and COV had gotten off the ground, Ultraman charged forward to tackle them, but the monsters stepped aside and flipped Ultraman over with their arms, causing him to roll on the floor.

Ultraman corrected himself and went to grab Super COV’s tail, but the monster simply flicked its tail and flipped Ultraman over. Ultraman tried to get up, but Super Pazuzu swung its tail and smacked Ultraman in the face and swung again, striking him in the chest. The monster's priorities changed from Ultraman back to causing destruction, Ultraman stood back up before running forward, jumped over the monsters, and landed in front of them, before grappling with them again. Once again, two monsters were two much for Ultraman, as he got pushed back, his feet digging into the ground. Before the two monsters could bend Ultraman back in half, Ultraseven appeared and kicked both monsters in the face, causing them to fall back onto the ground, first Super Pazuzu then followed by Super COV.

Ultraman walked up to Ultraseven once he landed. “When are you going to not get so reckless?” Seven questions.

“I sometimes forget that I’m not the only one that can become an Ultra,” Ultraman replied, “where’s the others?”

“Helping the townsfolk,” Seven responded, “now let’s take care of these two.”

“Right, I’ll talk, take the one with the sickles and you take the bull-like beast,” Ultraman said, Ultraseven nodded as the two Ultras stuck fighting poses and ran towards the monsters that had just gotten back to their feet.

The Two Ultras cartwheeled towards the monsters and kicked them in the chest. Super Pazuzu went to swipe at Ultraseven, but he blocked it and chopped at Space Thunder Beast’s neck. Ultraman went to grab Super COV, but the Space Combat Beast broke free but was then punched back by Ultraman. Both Ultras then grappled with the space beasts, but the monsters broke free of their hold before grabbing the Ultras and throwing them to the side. The Ultras quickly got back to their feet, while Ultraseven tussled with Pazuzu a bit more, Ultraman tried to dodge Super COV’s sickles as it swiped them around.

Ultraseven had a hold on Pazuzu’s horns, as the monster tried to shake him off, and although it was able to, Ultraseven and Ultraman grabbed the two monsters and managed to throw them to the ground. Pazuzu was the first to roll on the ground, but as it stood back up, COV was then tossed to the ground, and rolled into Pazuzu, causing the space beast to trip over it and fall back down to the ground. Ultraman got ready to finish this and charged up his Specium Beam, but he stopped when he saw Super COV and Pazuzu get back up. The Monsters roared in fury as they then stomped towards the Ultras.

“Are you ok?” Seven asked his Brother-in-arms, concerned to why he stopped.

“Yeah, let’s finish these guys together!” Ultraman shouted.

“Right,” Ultraseven replied as the two Ultras charged towards the monsters.

Ultraman slammed his shoulder into Super COV’s chest, while Ultraseven punched Super Pazuzu in the chest. Ultraman dodged a swipe from COV’s sickle as Ultraseven grabbed Pazuzu and threw it to the ground causing it to roll on the floor. Ultraman punched COV in the chest a couple of times as Pazuzu got up off the ground and was immediately grabbed by the horns by Ultraseven who held it still as he kicked its side. Ultraman grabbed Super COV, and the two Ultras shifted the two monsters next to each other before somersaulting backward.

Ultraman deployed his Specium Blades and charged forward towards the space monsters. Super COV tried to swipe at Ultraman with its sickle, but Ultraman rolled out the way, and grabbed Pazuzu by the horns, before bringing it to the floor once again. While Ultraseven grappled with Super COV, Ultraman grabbed Super Pazuzu and lifted it back up and over his head before slamming it back down on the ground. The two Ultras proceeded to bash and slam the monsters back down on the ground a few more times before getting the weakened space beasts back to their feet and in headlocks.

Ultraman nodded at Ultraseven, as the two Ultras charged towards each other, and slammed the two monsters' heads together. The monsters groaned in pain as they slowly stood back up. In a last attempt to destroy the Ultras, they fired their Energy blasts and lightning, but the Ultras just blocked their attacks and launched them back at them.

Annoyed and enraged, Super COV and Pazuzu charged forward for one last attack. Ultraman charged up his Specium Beam and Ultraseven his Wide Shot. Both Ultras fired them, striking Super COV in the chest and completely piercing and blasting through its body, and doing the same and Super Pazuzu behind it, causing both monsters to explode into pieces. Once the monsters had been killed, Ultraman and Ultraseven high-fived each other in victory.

“Great work Sam,” Ultraseven told him, “only a quarter of Ponyville was destroyed in their attack.”

“That’s less than when Mimic wrecked the town,” Ultraman retorted.

The two were just about to fly away and return to normal, but just then, Ultraseven spotted something.

“Sam! Wait!” he called, causing Ultraman to stumble before taking off.

“What?” he replied.

“Look!” Ultraseven shouted, pointing to the Rainbow portal. Ultraman looked and he saw Elena standing in front of the portal.

“Oh my goodness!” Ultraman said as he ran towards her and changed back to Sam, “Elena! Stay away from that!”

Elena heard her name be called, and turned to face Sam. Sam jumped as her eyes weren’t their normal eye colour, but were rainbow coloured.

“Elena?” Sam called again, but Elena didn’t reply, she just turned back around and walked through the portal. “Elena!” Sam shouted and ran in after her.

“Sam!” Nicholas cried as he tried to go in after him, but the rainbow disappeared, and so did the portal. “Oh crud,” Nick remarked, he stared where the rainbow once was before running off to find Twilight at the others.

Sam emerged on the other side of the portal and immediately looked around for Elena. But his frantic panic to find her slowed down as he looked around and realised where he was. He was in some sort of snowy, winter realm.

“What… in the world…” he remarked to himself, “this place doesn’t feel natural.”

Everywhere he looked was snow and ice. On the trees, snow, and ice. On the ground, snow, and ice. Inside a nearby Ice Age museum, snow, and ice.

“Wait, why is there a museum out in the middle of nowhere?” Sam questioned, “maybe whoever’s in there has some winter clothing or something, because I am freezing out here!”

Sam then quickly pulled out his Beta Capsule and donned his Ultrasuit again.

“This should keep my body temperature from dropping,” Ultraman remarked, he then spotted some fox paw prints in the snow, “if I follow this trait I should find her. And I best find her quickly, Ultras aren’t suited for cold temperatures.”

And so that’s what Ultraman did. He followed the tracks down the path, passed snow covered trees, snowy hills, and the museum from earlier, and found out it was closed. He found the walk quite peaceful, and reminded him of when he and his family would go on walks in the snow, when it did snow of course.

“Heh, the UK was not great at getting snow,” Ultraman chuckled to himself.

As he continued to walk, he started to have a feeling of uneasiness, like something or someone was following him. He kept a sharp eye out for anything and remained on high alert. Ultraman followed the tracks until he saw that they had run out.

“That’s strange, Elena’s tracks just end here in this suspicious open clearing,” Ultraman remarked, upon saying this he then realised something, “I’ve just wandered into a trap, haven’t I?”

Just then, a spear was thrown and came flying out from behind Ultraman. Sensing the spear, Ultraman stepped aside and grabbed the spear, before turning to look behind him and see a figure standing. The figure was wearing what seemed to be dragon scaling for armour, and was wearing a mask so Ultraman couldn’t see their face.

“Who are you?” Ultraman called out.

The figure didn’t reply, they just stood there, watching Ultraman. Suddenly they sprinted forward and snatched the spear for Ultraman’s grip. Ultraman only had a few moments to realise what had just happened before the figure pressed their spear against his back.

“I could ask you the same question stranger,” the figure responded, their voice was muffled a bit by the mask, but the tone sounded feminine and familiar to Sam.

“Well if you kill me, you won’t be able to know,” Ultraman replied, a smirk on Sam’s face, despite the situation he had gotten himself into.

“Do you work for her?” the armoured figure asked, “and don’t play dumb.”

“Who’s her? Twilight Sparkle?” Ultraman asked, before getting poked in the back by his hunter.

“I told you not to play dumb!” The figure told him.

Ultraman quickly spun around and knocked the spear out his attacker’s hands. The figure growled and the two began to fight. Both of them were fairly evenly matched and skilled. Ultraman threw a punch, and the figure dodged it, the figure tried to kick, but Ultraman dodged that as well. Both of them grappled with each other, when their fight was interrupted by the sound of rumbling. The two of them stopped and looked around, to see where the sound was coming from. Then came a roar, as the two looked up over the cliff to see an insectoid monster peering down at the two.

“What is that?!” Ultraman shouted.

“That’s Shieldron,” the figure said, “it’s a mutated insect that likes to drink oily chemicals.”

Shieldron seemingly licked its mandibles as it stared down at Ultraman and the other figure. But its gaze fell upon the figure as it reached a claw down to grab her. The figure backed up in fear as the claw came closer, she waited for the claw to close down on her, but they didn’t. She opened an eye and saw that Ultraman was holding the claw back. Annoyed, Shieldron tried to grab Ultraman instead, but Ultraman held back the claws with all his strength. Suddenly a blue fireball struck Shieldron in the back, causing the monster to shriek in pain and topple forward pushing boulders and rocks in the clearing, Ultraman ran over to protect the figure from the falling rocks. Shieldron stood back up and turned to face who fired that fireball.

The Culprit was a reptilian minotaur-like monster, with massive horns, silver armoured scales, and pink flesh, with spike running down its back and a single row of spikes running down the monster's chest. It was the Herculean Monster, Silvergon.

Silvergon roared at his opponent, where Shieldron roared in response. Ultraman climbed out of the rubble, and moved more out the way to help the figure out. They looked up and saw the monsters about to brawl.

Silvergon roared and smacked Shieldron on the side of the head. Shieldron retaliated by smacking Silvergon in return. Silvergon then slammed its head into Shieldron, who blocked it with its armour plating on its arms. Silvergon pulled back but as it did, Shieldron used its left claw to grab Silvergon by the neck and then slapped it with its free claw in its face before smacking it with its other claw. Enraged, Silvergon stomped back and spun around, swinging its tail into Shieldron, knocking it to the ground. Silvergon then began to continue to strike Shieldron in the face as it tried to get up off the floor. Silvergon whipped Shieldron so much that the mutated insect was foaming at the mouth, Shieldron tried to weakly get up, but then Silvergon fired another blue fireball that struck Shieldron hard. Shieldron roared one last time in pain before collapsing and dying.

Silvergon, pleased that it had won, looked down and grabbed Shieldron’s tail before dragging it away. It then heard rocks rumbling, and turned to see where the noise came from. The noise came from Ultraman and the figure, who had climbed out of the pile of boulders. Ultraman was about to go and prepare to fight Silvergon, but the figure stopped him, before putting a finger to her mask’s lips. Silvergon stared down at them, but for some reason, it couldn’t see them, so it just turned and trudged away, pulling the corpse of Shieldron with it.

“What just happened?” Ultraman questioned.

“That was Silvergon,” the figure replied, “it’s a super strong monster but is a dumb as rocks. It loses you if you don’t move.”

“Oh, well, thank you for telling me that,” Ultraman replied.

“I should be the one thanking you,” the figure retorted, “I would have been Shieldron’s next snack if it wasn’t for you. I’m sorry for holding you at spear point.”

“That’s alright,” Ultraman assured, “well now maybe you’re in the mood to chat. Who are you and what is this place?”

“It’s place goes by a few names, some call it the Rainbow Underworld, but it’s actually called Geoquestria,” the figure replied, as she started to remove her mask, “as for who I am. They call me Sommer, the Monster Huntress.”

Ultraman was taken aback when Sommer showed him her face, “S-Sommer?!” he exclaimed, “sorry for that outburst, but you look a lot like my friend from my original home dimension.”

“Really? Wait, you're from a different dimension?!” Sommer shouted, getting in Ultraman’s face, “you must be the hero from another world that will defeat the Frozen Empress!”

“The what, the what and the what?” Ultraman questioned.

“Come, I’ll take you to the village,” Sommer replied as she grabbed a hold of Ultraman’s arm and started to lead him out of the clearing on the path to this so-called village.

Ultraman followed Sommer down a path that seemingly led to nowhere. The path was overgrown with plants and bushes, trees grew up and hid the path from a birds eye view. He could tell this would lead to either a secret village or an abandoned town. Soon they came to a giant rock in the middle of the path, and Ultraman was not impressed.

“Did you just lead me to a dead end?!” he retorted, “that’s the last time I trust a sheep.”

“Shh,” Sommer silenced him before walking to the boulder and holding her spear up to it. The patterns on the spear started to glow, causing the boulder to mimic the patterns. The Boulder then split down the middle and opened like a pair of doors, Ultraman was amazed.

“Nevermind, I’m impressed,” Ultraman replied.

Sommer just smirked back at him and continued to lead him on. But a few steps later, Ultraman started to feel weak, and his colour timer started to blind. He stopped and took a knee, Sommer looked back in concern.

“Are you ok?” she asked.

“Yeah, I’m just a little tired, and I’m not great with colder climates,” Ultraman replied as he retracted the Ultrasuit and returned to Sam. Sommer was shocked for a few reasons.

“Oh my goodness,” she remarked.

“Yeah, I’m really a kid,” Sam replied.

“No that’s not it,” Sommer responded, “it’s that you look just like the Chief of the Village. But younger.”

“Wait what?!” Sam questioned.

“You’ll see what I mean when we reach the village,” Sommer replied as she led Sam on.

A few minutes later, they came to a clearing surrounded by mountains. And in the middle of the clearing was a little village, with a river running through it, and populated by arctic foxes with multiple tails.

“Woah, what is this place?” Sam asked.

“This is the Valley of Vulpix,” Sommer told him, “here the Chief lives with his wife.”

Sommer led Sam down to the village, once they reached it, Sam was getting stares from Vulpix and Ninetales left and right. He nervously waved at them, to no response. Presently they came to a large cottage on the edge of the village, where a little Alolan Vulpix girl was playing out in the snow. The little Vulpix noticed Sommer and came running to her.

“Auntie Sommer!” she cried as she wrapped her little arms around the sheep girl.

“Heya Little Snowflake,” Sommer replied, “you doing ok?”

“Yes, I’m fine,” Snowflake answered.

“Are your parents in?” Sommer asked.

“Yes they are,” Snowflake replied again.

“Good, now you go along and play,” Sommer told her, while petting her head. Snowflake chuckled and ran off to play in the snow. Something then clicked in Sam’s mind.

“Wait, if they’re all Alolan Vulpix and Ninetales, then what are you?” Sam questioned, “You’re not a normal sheep aren’t you.”

“I’m a Mareep,” Sommer replied.

“Of course you are,” Sam remarked, “So I guess every humanoid being in this dimension are Pokémon.”

“How’s you guess that?” Sommer asked.

“Luckily, guess?” Sam quizzed.

Sommer chose not to push on and just knocked on the door of the cottage. A few seconds later, the door slid open and there standing at the door was an Alolan Ninetales in a slightly different colour to the others.

“Oh, hello Sommer,” the Ninetales greeted her.

“Heya Elenore,” Sommer replied, “I’ve got someone I think you and the Chief need to meet.”

“And who might that be?” Elenore asked.

“I believe it's the Hero of Legends that has come from another world to slay the Frozen Empress,” Sommer replied, looking over at Sam. Elenore looked over and at Sam then came closer to him.

“Really? He just looks like a normal human child,” she bluntly remarked.

“Hey!” Sam snapped.

“He saved me from a Shieldron and Silvergon,” Sommer told her.

“Oh really?” Elenore questioned as she raised an eyebrow.

Sam then pulled out his Beta Capsule again and in a blinding flash, because Ultraman once again.

“Believe me now?” Ultraman said.

“Oh my,” Elenore commented, “p-please come in.”

“That’s more like it,” Ultraman stated as he turned back to Sam. As he entered the cottage.

“You really think he’s the hero of legends?” Elenore asked.

“Who knows,” Sommer replied, “As long as he has his vixen partner with him, they’ll be able to win and defeat the Frozen Empress.” Sommer then pulled her back down over her face, and turned to leave.

“Sommer! Aren’t you going to join us!” Elenore responded.

“Nah, I’ll pass, I’m gonna head back out there,” Sommer replied.

“Be safe now,” Elenore called to her.

“Aren’t I always,” Sommer responded as she walked out the valley. Elenore watched her go before returning to her cottage.

When Sam entered the cottage he entered a living room that gave off Japanese vibes, like the lack of any proper chairs and a table that was only a foot off the ground. In fact the whole village left like it was Japanese themed. Elenore came in soon after him.

“Please have a seat, I’ll get my husband, he’s currently speaking to another guest,” Elenore told Sam as she left the room.

Sam looked around and just sat down on one of the pillows on the floor. He sat cross-legged for a while, hearing the muffled voices coming from the other room. Then Suddenly he heard the sound of running paws on the wooden floor, he turned to the entrance of the living room and saw Elena come running around the corner bounding into the room.

“Sam!!” she yelled in happiness as she leaped onto Sam, knocking him over and tightly hugging him into oblivion.

“Elena?!” Sam exclaimed in shock before returning the embrace.

“Aww, what a cute sight,” Elenore remarked, as she peered around the corner, “reminds me of us when we were young.”

“We’re still all young,” replied a more masculine voice, “young enough to have a little fun tonight.”

“Samuel, please, our guests are over there,” Elenore replied.

The one named Samuel entered the room and cleared his throat to get Sam and Elena’s attention. Elena stopped hugging Sam and got off him, it was then got a good look at Samuel. It was like Sommer said, he looked a lot like him, only he was older and had facial hair.

“Woah, it’s like looking into a time mirror,” Sam remarked. "Is this what I’m going to look like in a decade or so?”

“Most likely my little self,” Samuel responded, “Now I assume you two have questions as to why you’re here.”

“Yeah,” the two children replied.

“Like who is this Frozen Empress,” Sam asked.

“And why was I drawn here,” Elena questioned.

“Geoquestria would create an inverted rainbow, that acts as a portal to other worlds,” Elenore replied, “we didn’t count on those monsters to go through the portal so sorry about that. The Frozen Empress ordered them to attack us.”

“As for who the Frozen Empress is, I’ll tell you two the story of how she came here,” Samuel explained.

“For you see, Geoquestria has always been a peaceful land. There were monsters but they normally kept to themselves. Until one day, the Frozen Empress came to our world. She had the power to manipulate snow and ice, and plunged Geoquestria in eternal winter. I fought bravely and heroically against her rule, but during a temporary victory, she had discovered a powerful stone that granted her multiple abilities as well as enhancing her own. She now has most monsters under her control, and she keeps trying to take over this land. We then heard rumours of a legendary hero, and his vixen partner would arrive in our universe that had the power to defeat the Frozen Empress. When an inverted rainbow appeared, we hoped that it would bring forth this legendary hero and his vixen partner. We soon found Elena here making her way to our valley. So we took her in and informed her about the Frozen Empress.”

“Woah,” the two commented.

“Not long after we found Elena, you must have appeared in this world Sam,” Elenore replied.

“I’m guessing time flows differently as well,” Sam remarked, “because I jumped into the portal like seconds after Elena disappeared into the portal.”

“We’ve had Elena with us for about an hour before you showed up with Sommer,” Elenore.

“But you never answered my question,” Elena stated, “why was I lured her?”

“We’re not sure on that,” Samuel replied, “we believe it was the stone sending electromagnetic waves of something similar to you when the inverted rainbow portal opened.”

“I do have another question,” Sam asked, “how do we get back home?”

“That we’re not entirely sure of,” Elenore replied.

“WHAT?!” both of them shouted.

“But we’re sure there’s a way to get you two back home,” Samuel stated, trying to reassure them.

“Can’t we just go back through Rainbow Portal when it reappears?” Elena asked.

“The Inverted Rainbow Portals appear once every few years,” Elenore told them, “and they lead to a random world each time.”

“We’ll, we’re just going to have to hope that mum and the others can figure something out,” Sam said.

“Maybe this Frozen Empress has some way for us to get back home,” Elena stated.

“So will you help us get rid of the Frozen Empress once and for all?” Samuel asked. Sam and Elena turned to face each other, seemingly knowing the answer before turning back and nodding.

“Oh thank you so much,” Elenore replied, giving the two a hug, “we would help you, but she’s just too strong for us.”

“So you’re relying on two kids to do this instead,” Sam remarked.

“Before you two make your quest up the mountain to her Ice Castle, you two need to be prepared for the harsh weather,” Samuel told them.

“Yeah because Ultra’s don’t like cold temperatures,” Sam commented.

“And I’m just a fox girl, and this fur coat can only do so much,” Elena replied.

“So we need to get you two into the right clothing,” Samuel said, “dear take these two to see Rea to get the right clothing for hiking up the mountain.”

“Of Course honey,” Elenore replied, "please follow me.”

Elenore led Sam and Elena out of their home and to a little clothing store, which to Sam looked a little familiar.

“This looks like Carousel Boutique,” Sam remarked as Elenore knocked on the door. A few seconds later, the door opened to reveal an icy blue fox with bangs hanging from her crystal headpiece. Sam and Elena recognised the creature as a Glaceon.

“Elenore, hello darling!” The Glaceon greeted Elenore, kissing her on the cheeks.

“Hello Rea,” Elenore returned the greeting, “may we come in?”

“We?” Rea wondered as she looked down and saw Sam and Elena standing behind her, “Oh my Arceus, who are these precious little angels?”

“These are the Legendary Warrior and his Vixen Partner,” Elenore replied, “Sam and Elena.”

“Gasp! So the rumours were true!” Rea cried, “Wait Sam and Elena, isn’t that your and the chief’s names?”

“Yes, we believed that these might be younger versions of ourselves,” Elenore replied.

“Oh my Arceus, oh where are my manners, please come in,” Rea said as she stepped aside to allow them to walk into her home. Elenore, Sam, and Elena stepped into the clothing store, before Rea closed the door behind them. “So what may I help you with?”

“Sam and Elena need the proper hiking gear to head up the mountain to face the Frozen Empress,” Elenore told her.

“Say no more,” Rea replied, “Me and my sisters and brothers are on it.” She snapped her fingers and seven eeveelution girls appeared. A Vaporeon and Sylveon came from upstairs, a Flareon and Jolteon came from the basement, an Espeon and Umbreon came from the kitchen and a Leafeon came from the garden.

“Wow,” Sam replied.

“Now,” Rea said, “Que montage!”

First Sam and Elena needed to be measured for new hiking gear. Sam was being measured by the Emo Umbreon named Tamao, who did his height, the short tempered Flareon named Pyro, who did his arm length, and the energic Jolteon named Sparky, who did the width. While Sam’s company wasn't bad tempered, he did feel a little comfortable that he was getting measured by the only three males of this family. As Pyro was behind him, and Sparky going all around him measuring how thick he was, he stared at Tamao as he stood right in front. And it didn’t help that they were all naked. Their privates were hidden by the fur of course, but that still didn’t help the fact that three naked humanised Eeveelutions were standing around him.

Elena was also getting measured, and her company was much more pleased and even chatty. She got her height measured by the calm and zen Espeon named Sakura, her arm and tail length by the shy and quiet Leafeon named Linnea. And her width by the cheerful and happy-go-lucky Sylveon named Kira. Same as their brothers, the three of them were also naked, and like their brothers their fur covered up their privates. The elegant Rea and her last sister, the seductive Vaporeon named Rainer, were chatting up with Elenore while Sam and Elena got measured.

Once the two were measured, the six gave the measurements to Rainer and Rea who went along with Linnea, Pyro, Sakura and Tamao to make the suitable clothing. While they did that, the remaining two took Sam and Elena to separate changing rooms, and offered them to try some clothes on while they waited. Kira gave Elena various outfits that were fit for a Gardevoir, Gothitelle, Roserade, Lopunny and Lilligant, respectively. Sparky wasn’t being serious and gave Sam various outfits that were fit for an Emboar, Abomasnow, and Mamoswine, and had a good old laugh about it. Sam didn’t find it funny, he didn’t like getting made fun of how big he was, even though he wasn’t that big. Sparky had his fun then started to get serious about it, and gave Sam outfits that resembled Pokémon like Lucario, Zoroark, and Garchomp.

Soon, their hiking gear was completed, Sam and Elena tried it on and really liked the feeling of them.

“Ooh they look amazing on you two,” Rainer commented.

“Not a bad look for you kids,” Sparky remarked.

“I agree,” Pyro stated.

“Simply splendid,” Sakura expressed.

“They look fine,” Tamao responded.

“I… I think the hiking gear look g… good on them,” Linnea stuttered.

“I will admit, some of our best work,” Rea observed.

“Aww! They look so cute!” Kira cried.

“So are you two ready to face the Frozen Empress?” Elenore asked.

“Yes!” Sam and Elena answered together.

Soon everyone had gathered in the village centre to see Sam and Elena off, Rea and her siblings had also prepared backpacks for the two which included all the stuff you need for when you go hiking up a mountain. Samuel and Elenore stood in the centre and opposite Sam and Elena.

“The path north of the village will take you to the Frozen Empress’s castle,” Elena told them.

“Before you go, take this,” Samuel said, as he handed a sword to Sam, “this is the Sword of Heroes, a special Sword that can absorb the abilities of the Frozen Empress and launch them back at her.”

“Thank you,” Sam told him as he put the Sword on his back.

“Good luck you two,” Elenore told them.

“Will do,” Sam replied.

“Thank you for your hospitality,” Elena thanked them.

“Don’t mention it,” Samuel said, “now defeat that evil empress for the whole of Geoquestria.”

Sam and Elena nodded as they turned around and headed north out the village, and up the mountain as the village folk cheered until they were out of sight.

High above the Valley of Vulpix, inside the Ice Castle, the Frozen Empress watched Sam and Elena as they made their way up the mountain, through a crystal ball she had created. She too had heard the rumours about this legendary hero, and was chuckling at the thought that these children were the legendary hero and his vixen partner. To her right was her snivelling underling, a creature known as a Weavile, he snarled at the crystal ball as when he saw Sam and Elena.

“It seems the rumours about those legendary heroes are true Weavile,” the Frozen Empress chuckled, “however, they never mention that those heroes would be children.”

“They’re coming up here to meddle with your plan, your highness,” Weavile sneered, “but don’t worry, They’ll never get past the three impossible challenges.”

“Hah, of course they won’t,” laughed the Frozen Empress, “You chose them for that reason alone.”

“Ah right, yes,” Weavile responded, trying to hide the fact that he was nervous, “Ah, here's the first challenge now.”

“This should be fun to watch,” the Frozen Empress declared.

Down on the mountain, the earth shook and rumbled as a hulking monster on a creature stepped out from its cave. It was white with green arms, legs and tail and blazing pink eyes, it resembled a tree covered in snow. It was Forst Tree Beast, Abomasnow. Elena hid behind Sam, and Sam hid behind his sword, but it was no use, the Abomasnow spotted them anyway.

“Right!” the Abomasnow shouted, “shut up and don’t move!” He then pulled out a scroll from under its fur, unravelled it, and began to read.

“To whom I’m about to destroy,

You have stumbled onto my patch of the mountain like the fools you are. And now you must face my challenge you idiots. And it’s a mighty challenge indeed. No one has succeeded in beating me at this challenge, not in the last two decades. And my challenge is this. You cannot get past me, until you guessed my name. And you will never guess my name. And when you have failure to guess my name, I will freeze you with my Ice Beam and feed you to the Arctovish. And that is my challenge.

Yours Sincerely,

Barack Abomasnow.”

“This looks bad,” Sam remarked, “should I use the Sword of Heroes?”

“Nah, this seems easy enough,” Elena said smirking, “watch this.” Bravely, Elena stepped forward. “Your name is Barack Abomasnow, and don’t lie because I know it is. Now waddle off my snow beard.”

“Lucky guess,” muttered Barack Abomasnow as he waddled off, “I’m going down to the forest for some berries.”

As he wandered off down the mountain, Elena smirked back at Sam who was still trying to hide behind his sword. “Some hero you are,” Elena snickered, “you’ve stared down a monster but got frightened upon seeing an abominable snowman.”

“It’s different when I’m not in my Ultrasuit,” Sam replied, putting his sword away. Elena chuckled and the two continued up the mountain.

“Are you serious?” The Frozen Empress questioned, looking at Weavile, “What was that?”

“I told him not to write his name on the scroll,” Weavile replied, “but he wanted to be polite. But don’t worry my lady, they’ll never get past the next challenge.”

“I hope you’re right,” the Frozen Empire remarked as she looked into the Crystal ball again.

Down on the mountain, a secret door opened on the side of a rock, with a creaking sound, as chilling air whisped out. Sam and Elena turned around and saw a figure creep out of the opening. The figure had purple skin, blonde hair, and a red dress. It was the Human Shape creature Jynx.

“I’m going to do spells on you!” Jynx cackled, “yes, that’s right! Spells! I’m gonna muck you up!”

“Did you hear that!” Sam cried in fright, “Spells!”

“Quick!” Shouted Elena, “get the sword of… Wait a sec, she’s not getting nowhere near us.”

It was true, Jynx was moving about one centimetre per minute, and she was like two football pitches away. As Sam and Elena watched, she was soon taken over by a Snom.

“When I get near enough, I’m gonna do spells!” called Jynx, “then you’ll be sorry! Spells!”

Sam and Elena looked at each other, “should we escape now or later?” Elena asked.

“Hmm?” Sam thought before answering, “Later, after supper.”

So Elena went off to get some sticks to start a fire and Sam took at the food they were giving. All the while, Jynx crawled forward crying out her insults as she went. After Sam and Elena had eaten, they chatted for a while. After that they played a few games of Super Smash Ponies, then after that they built a 750 piece Lego set. All together it was a jolly time, until Sam stood up.

“Well I guess we should get going or Jynx will catch us,” he said before looking back at Jynx, who looked like she hadn’t moved at all, “in a few hours.”

So up Elena got, they packed up their stuff, and continued on their way.

“Just you wait until I’m close enough to do my spells!” Cried Jynx, “Then you’ll be sorry!”

Back in the Ice Castle, the Frozen Empress slowly turned her head to stare at Weavile. “What was that?!” she exclaimed, “Why was she so slow?!”

“She must have thrown her back out,” Weavile responded, “but don’t worry, they’ll never survive the final challenge. The Arctozolt is the strongest one out of the three.”

“You better be right,” the Frozen Empress told him, “or I’ll use your fur for a new coat.”

Down on the mountain, the creature known as an Arctozolt burst out of the rock wall roaring out into the cold air. It turned and faced Sam and Elena and roared again. Sam pulled out his sword and prepared to fight, but as soon as the Arctozolt made its appearance, it soon came to an end, when it took one wrong step and its flipper slipped of the path way, causing the Arctozolt to trip and fall off the side of the mountain. Sam and Elena looked over the edge, and continued on their way.

The Frozen Empress turned with a sinister glare at Weavile. “You can’t blame me for that!” Weavile pleaded, “I didn’t know it was going to slip off the mountain!”

“Silence Fool!” Bellowed the Frozen Empress, “now listen. To redeem yourself, you can go capture those children and bring them here.”

“Y-Yes ma’am,” Weavile stuttered.

“It’s an important job so take your best soldiers,” the Frozen Empress told him, “Take Sandslash, Avalugg, Mamoswine, Froslass, Beartic, Darmanitan, and Crabominable. And don’t let me down Weavile or I’ll feed you to the Ice Kaiju.”

“Don’t worry Ma’am, I’ll capture those children for you,” Weavile replied before he ran off. With that taken care of, The Frozen Empress turned to more important matters.

“Hey Delibird, where’s my supper?!” she cried.

As night fell, Sam and Elena decided to set up camp, Elena set up a fire and Sam found a wild Buneary to cook, which was lucky because he didn’t know how to cook in the first place. The Buneary whipped up some omelettes while the two heroes gazed out over the mountain side into the vast starry night.

Sam and Elena could see the Valley of the Vulpix down below, the lights flicked inside to warm cabins. They could hear roars coming from distant monsters and other towns and villages across the land. It was a beautiful sight. Gazing up over the scene before her, Elena felt tears breaking through and it wasn’t just because the Buneary was cutting an onion.

“This is so beautiful,” she remarked, “it reminds me of home. Before it went to crap.”

“Yeah,” Sam responded, “I wish we could go back to Earth.” The two stayed quiet for a few minutes before Sam spoke up, “Elena? We’re close friends right?”

“Yeah, really close,” Elena replied.

“Well, how close do you think we really are?” Sam asked again.

“Well, I was the first person to reach the hand of friendship to you when you were bullied,” Elena answered, “and I was the one who came to help you when you were bleeding on the field.”

“Yeah, I still owe you my life for saving me like that,” Sam said, before continuing, “I know we may be too young for this, considering we're only ten years old. But I was hoping and wondering if you and I could… you know… be a…” he didn’t get to finish as Elena placed a finger to his lips.

“I know what you’re going to say,” Elena replied, and before Sam could say anything else, Elena kissed him on the mouth. Sam went as red as his jacket. He didn’t know what to say, but then the moment was ruined by a sound that startled Elena.

“I think I heard something,” she whispered urgently as she put out the fire with a mug of water, “I think I heard something creeping in the bushes.”

Sam and Elena huddled together, trembling in the darkness. A minute later the Buneary joined them, twitching her nose like a little total whirly. And now they all can hear the strange sounds, as they looked on, shapes with glowing eyes emerged from the darkness, they heard snarls and growls and then a twig snap, and then another snap, and another. As the Moon came out from behind the clouds, Sam and Elena looked around as they saw they were surrounded by Ice creatures, growling, and snarling at the two, and snapping twigs in their claws.

“Get them fools!” Weavile commanded, pointing at Sam and Elena. The Ice creatures started to advance on the two children.

“WAIT!!” screamed Elena, surprising causing everyone to stop, “the Buneary, this isn’t no place for you little one.”

Elena scooped up the Buneary in her arms and took it to a safe place under a bush. Once she had gotten the Buneary to a safe place, and returned to being surrounded by the Ice creatures, Sam smirked and got ready to fight.

“Now leave this to me,” he said as he reached for the Sword of Heroes. But as he reached behind him, he realised he had a very small issue, he had left the sword laying up against a rock when they had encountered the Jynx. “Oh crap,” he commented as he looked sheepishly at Elena.

“What?” she asked in concern.

“I uh… might have left the sword behind when we encountered that Jynx,” Sam replied, giving a nervous smile.

“You what?!” Elena exclaimed, her eyes seem to turn red and burn with rage.

“Enough fooling around!” Weavile shouted, “All of you, use Ice Beam now!”

The ice creatures charged up and fired an ice blue beam that struck Sam and Elena, freezing them in place and leaving their heads exposed.

“HAHAHA!” laughed Weavile, the other ice creatures joined in as well, “right, Beartic, Darmanitan, lift these two onto Avalugg’s back and then we’ll bring them to the Frozen Empress.”

The Beartic and Darmanitan nodded as they both grabbed the ice block with Sam and Elena frozen in and lifted up onto Avalugg’s back. Then the ice creatures started making their way back up the mountain to the Ice Castle, cackling loud enough to wake the dead all the way. From under the bush, the Buneary had witnessed the whole terrible scene.

“I will never forget that girl that carried me to safety,” it said, “Well I might, but I’ll try really hard not to.” Then it remembered that Sam said he had left the Sword of Heroes behind, with a determined face, it jumped out from behind the bush and was about to run down the mountain, when a figure stood in front of it.

It took the Ice creatures the rest of the night to get back to Castle, once they arrived, Weavile ordered the ice creatures to return to their posts and Avalugg to follow him to the throne room. Where the Frozen Empress would be waiting for them. Weavile opened the doors to the throne room and called out to the Frozen Empress.

“Your Subzero-ness!” he called out, “we’ve captured the children like you asked for.”

“Good,” The Frozen Empress smirked.

Avalugg lowered its front, which caused Sam and Elena to slide off Avalugg’s back, skidding on the floor for a few feet and stopping only a few metres from the throne. Avalugg then left to return to its post while Weavile closed the throne room doors.

“So, you’re supposed to be these legendary heroes I’ve heard about?” came the Frozen Empress sinister voice.

Sam and Elena looked to see the Frozen Empress slowly walking down from the throne, the closer she came the more the light revealed her. She was wearing blue boots, a skin tight dress, blue gloves with gold and brown bracelets, a black cape with a red underside, and a multi-coloured stone on her neck with a flare in the centre. She also wore a crown on her head, but that wasn’t what Sam was the most shocked about. The Frozen Empress had ice blue skin, and snow white hair.

“There must have been something wrong with the rumours,” she continued, “they never mentioned that the heroes were just a couple of children.

“What do you want from us?” Elena asked, fearful.

“Oh, I don’t want anything from you two, exactly,” the Frozen Empress told them, chilling air whips out her mouth as she spoke, “I just want you two out of my way for my plans to go down without a hitch.”

“Wait, you’re not from this world are you,” Sam declared.

“Excuse me?” The Frozen Empress questioned.

“You know someone that has the same ice blue skin and snow white hair,” Sam told her, “Arctic Ace and Queen Aurora.”

“Don’t you dare mention those fools around me!” the Frozen Empress ordered.

“Oh so you know them?” Sam asked, cocking an eyebrow and smirking.

“Know them?!” exclaimed the Frozen Empress, “I’m the daughter of Queen, the sister of the Prince, I am the true future Queen and soon to be Empress of the Ice Kingdom, Empress Candice!”

This news took Sam and Elena aback, they weren’t expecting this. Neither Ace nor Aurora had mentioned that they had a sister/daughter.

“I was the first born, I was supposed to be next in line for the crown, but then that little brat of a brother took it away from me,” Candice explained, Sam and Elena could her the venom and anger in her voice, “because he nearly died at birth, he took the attention away from me. Mother never acknowledged me, she only cared for Ace, her little snow angel. And when I almost killed him, Mother banished me from the Ice kingdom. I had had enough with them, so I stole her crown, and ran to this dimension, where I’ve been plotting for my revenge. Building my army, controlling monsters, this is all part of my plan to take over the Ice Kingdom, and after I have achieved my goal, I will cover all Equestria in an endless snowstorm and claim it as the new Frozen Equestria!”

“I won’t let you!” Sam cried, as he struggled to break free from the ice.

“Try as you might, you are not breaking out of that,” Candice mocked, “soon enough, the freezing temperature will get to you, and you’ll slowly freeze to death.”

She was right, Sam was feeling his strength slowly seeping away.

“Come on Sam, don’t give up!” Elena tried to encourage him.

“Now how should I deposit the two of you?” Candice thought out loud.

“Why don’t you feed them to a monster?” Weavile called out.

“Excellent idea,” Candice retorted, as she turned and told outside on her giant balcony. She closed her eyes, and clutched the stone around her neck. “Activate! Ice/Psychic Type!” she shouted, as a wave of energy flowed from the stone and over her body, turning some of her blue to pink.

She then held out her hand, and closed her eyes, sensing a monster nearby. She then suddenly snapped her eyes open, now glowing pink, she screamed as the ground below started to rumble, and a monster burst up from the ground. The monster was green with a tan underbelly, large claws with a whip on each claw, it also had a snake-like head with a horn sticking out on its head. It was the Barrier Monster Gagi.

“Gagi is under my every control,” Candice smirked as she turned back to face Sam and Elena, she commanded Gagi through her mind to come and eat the two frozen children. All Sam and Elena could do was watch as Gagi stomped towards the castle, snarling, and licking its lips. But suddenly, a blue fire struck Gagi in the side of the face, startling the monster and knocking it out of Candice’s control. Candice snarled as she looked to where the fireball was fired from. It had been fired by none other than Silvergon.

“That blasted beast!” Candice sneered, as she took control of Gagi again, “Gagi, fight and destroy Silvergon!”

Gagi obeyed as it created a dome barrier around itself. The two behemoths roared at each other as Silvergon stomped forward towards Gagi. Due to Silvergon’s poor vision, he didn’t see the barrier and walked right into it, banging his head in the process. Startled by this, Silvergon felt where the barrier was, then with his brute strength, shattered the barrier in a few swipes of his claws.

As Silvergon stomped closer to Gagi, the barrier monster fired a blast of energy from its horn, striking Silvergon in the side of the neck, but Silvergon didn’t feel a thing and shrugged it off. Gagi roared as it charged forward to strike Silvergon, but as it was about to headbutt the Herculean Monster, Silvergon grabbed Gagi by grabbing his head. Gagi tried whipping Silvergon with its whips but that didn’t seem to do anything either. Silvergon held Gagi by the horn, and using his strength, managed to throw Gagi to the floor. With Gagi on the ground, Silvergon stomped on its neck, and kicked it in the side.

Gagi managed to get back up off the ground, and used its whips to extend and wrap around Silvergon, now with the Herculean Monster in its grasp, Gagi could have a fighting chance, Gagi tugged and grappled with Silvergon, but the Herculean monster didn’t seem to be struggling, as he reached for the whips around its neck, and to show how strong he was tore them off with no problem.

Gagi roared in pain as it stumbled backwards, and to add insult to injury, Silvergon started swatting Gagi with its own torn whips. Silvergon then prepared to finish the Barrier monster off, he dropped the whips and grabbed Gagi by the head again, bringing it down and biting down on Gagi’s neck. The barrier monster roared in pain and struggled to get free as Silvergon bit down on its head. Gagi’s movement started to slow, until it dropped its arms, and fell over motionlessly. Silvergon had killed Gagi.

“NO!” Candice growled, before calming down, “I figured Gagi was too weak.”

While Gagi was fighting Silvergon, back in the throne room, Weavile was standing by the door to the throne room, but then was suddenly kicked and sent flying to the other side of the room, getting knocked out as he smashed its head off the back wall. Sam and Elena were confused by what just happened.

“What the heck?!” Sam questioned.

“Who’s there?” Elena called out.

Her question was answered, when a familiar figure jumped in front of them carrying the Sword of Heroes. It put the sword down, as its paws were suddenly engulfed in flames and it punched the ice block and shattered it, freeing Sam, and Elena.

“I wasn’t expecting that,” Sam remarked.

“I’m glad I was able to help you two,” the figure said.

“Wait, Sommer?!” Elena retorted.

“That’s right,” Sommer replied, “I was on my way up this mountain for some training, when I came across this Buneary that told me that you had left the Sword of Heroes down the mountain, so I thought I would give it back to you and help you out.” She then handed the Sword of Heroes to Sam.

“Thank you Sommer,” Sam thanked.

“What?! NO!!” Candice screamed as she turned around and saw Sam and Elena free. Sam and Elena glared at Candice but then Sam noticed Silvergon making his way over to the castle.

Suddenly Silvergon fired a blast of blue fire at the Castle, creating a massive explosion in the throne room.

“Elena, I’m going to stop Silvergon,” Sam told Elena, giving her the Sword of Heroes, “Can I count on you to defeat Candice?”

Elena nodded, as she kissed Sam’s cheek, “be careful,” she told him.

“I’m always careful,” Sam replied with a smirk as he ran to the hole in the wall, and transformed into Ultraman as he jumped out.

Ultraman landed behind Silvergon, grabbing his tail, and tried to pull him back. He pulled so hard that Silvergon fell over onto his face. Ultraman tried to hold Silvergon back, but the monster was too strong to hold back completely. Silvergon managed to throw Ultraman off his tail and stand back up again, Ultraman jumped and chopped at Silvergon’s head, before chopping at his neck. Silvergon went for a smack, Ultraman blocked it, but Silvergon smacked him with his other hand, and then grabbed Ultraman by the neck and threw him to the ground.

Ultraman got back up before running over and kicking Silvergon in the chest, then kicked him in the side, and tried punching his chest. Silvergon tried to swipe Ultraman, but he ducked it, dodged a second and blocked a third. Ultraman jumped but Silvergon headbutted him in the stomach and pulled his head back, throwing Ultraman over and landing on the ground. Ultraman landed on his back and groaned in pain, as Silvergon turned around and roared, before stomping over and trying to squish Ultraman with his massive foot. Ultraman managed to roll out the way in time, and fired a Specium Beam as he stood back up. The Beam struck Silvergon in the chest, causing the Herculean Monster to fall over backwards.

Back in the castle, Candice threw Sommer to the floor causing her to roll, while she and Elena grappled with each other. Elena had had the Sword of Heroes pulled from her grip and was now stick in the icy ground, but she did have a hold on a whip Candice had pulled out, she tried to kick her, but Candice swiftly dodged it before kicking Elena in the chest, causing her to recoil back. Sommer came back ready with a Fire Punch, but Candice ducked out the way causing Sommer to stumble.

Candice jumped over her whip and soccer kicked Sommer, and was going for another but Sommer ducked and rolled to avoid it. Candice twirled her whip which wrapped around Elena’s neck and yanked it causing Elena to stagger forward, before getting pulled to the side. Sommer ran back and performed a Jump Kick, Candice blocked it with her arm, and spun around as Elena tried to kick her as well. Elena tried to smack her with her tail, Candice jumped and dodged it, but Sommer managed to use a Low Kick to strike Candice in the arm.

Candice blocked some more kicks for two Anthro girls, before trying to strike with some Poison Jabs, the stone seemingly granting her many moves at once. Luckily, Elena and Sommer dodged them, save for a surprise Ice Punch from Candice. Sommer managed to dodge another Brutal Swing from Candice’s leg, but Candice wrapped her hand around her whip and pulled Elena close before kicking her in the stomach. Sommer High Jump Kicked Candice in the side to get her away from Elena, this caused Candice to stumble back, as Sommer took the whip from Elena’s grip and let it go, as the two girls stood back to back ready to continue fighting her.

Back with Ultraman and Silvergon, the Herculean Monster had gotten back to his feet, and for some reason, mimicked Ultraman firing his Specium Beam, Ultraman cocked his head in confusion at this. Silvergon was a little confused as to why nothing was firing, then roared in annoyance. Sam figured that he couldn’t fight Silvergon with his strength, he then had an idea, he pulled out Ace’s Sparklence, and held it close to his chest.

“Please, Ultraman Tiga,” he whispered, “let me use you to help win this battle.” He then held it up and shouted, “TIGA!!”

In a blinding flash of light, the Ultraman Suit was replaced by the Ultraman Tiga Suit. Sam was now Ultraman Tiga. With this, Tiga crossed his arms, changed to his Power Type, and got ready to fight. Silvergon also mimicked Tiga’s type changing poses, and was confused and annoyed again as to why he didn’t change as well.

Tiga pulled a fighting pose and the two giants circled each other, now having a fighting chance, Tiga tried to punch Silvergon, but the monster blocked the attack with his own arms. The two locked arms and started to grapple with each other, Tiga kicked Silvergon in the side, causing him to take a knee. Silvergon knocked Tiga’s arms away before smacking him around the head. Tiga punched and kicked Silvergon in the chest, causing the monster to stagger, before running around behind Silvergon and jumping up and grabbing the horns on the back of head. Feeling his head being pulled from behind, Silvergon lurch forward, sending Tiga flying off his back.

Tiga flipped through the air, and landed upright on the ground. But because his back was turned to Silvergon, he didn’t see the Herculean Monster spin around and whip him in the face with his tail, which sent Tiga flying to the ground. Tiga grunted as his Colour Timer started to blink, he had to finish this quickly. He got back to his feet and tried to punch Silvergon, but the monster just slashed him along the back causing the Ultra to cry in pain.

Back with Elena, she wasn’t going to go enough, she and Sommer were both getting tired, and Candice didn’t even seem to be breaking a sweat. Sommer tried to use another Fire Punch, but Candice dodged it and used an Ice Punch straight to Sommer’s face, knocking her to the ground before turning to Elena who had gotten the Sword of Heroes back. Candice had put away her whip and was using a spear made of pure ice, Elena tried to swing the sword, but Candice kicked it out her hands and smacked Elena with her ice spear. Sommer weakly got to her feet and readied another Fire Punch, but she was too exhausted to keep it up and collapsed to the ground once again, Sommer had to help her friend.

Candice kicked Elena in the stomach, causing her to fall to her knee and then she used Brutal Swing with her spear, shattering it upon contact with Sommer’s body, who had used Quick Attack to push Elena out the way and take the full force of the Brutal Swing.

“Sommer!” Elena cried but before she could check if her alley was ok, Candice rushed forward to her and used Ice Punch to uppercut Elena in the face, sending her flying to the ground hard. Elena’s vision was getting blurry, as she could hear Candice laughing evilly.

“When are you going to realise that you beat me,” Candice laughed, “I’m stronger than you, smarter than you, vengeance upon my family will be mine.”

“I… I can still fight,” Elena huffed, she spat out blood from her mouth.

“Oh please, how can you possibly defeat me in the stage you’re in?” Candice questioned with a massive smirk on her face.

“Well… for starters, you don’t have your Evo Stone,” Elena smirked.

“Wha…?” Candice looked down and saw that her stone was no longer around her neck.

“Looking for this?” came Sommer’s voice, Candice and Elena looked and saw that Sommer, struggling to stand, was holding the Evo Stone in her paws.

“What?! But how?!” Candice shouted, “I took you out with that Brutal Swing!”

“That was a substitution,” Sommer pointed out, motioning to the little dinosaurian doll.

Candice growled as she ran towards Sommer, quickly thinking, Sommer rolled the Evo Stone to Elena, just as Candice tackled her to the ground. Elena grabbed the stone, just as Candice was about to tackle her, the stone sent out a shock wave that knocked Candice off her feet. Elena was floating off the ground, her eyes glowing and changing colours, from blue, to yellow, to red, to lavender, to black, to green, to icy blue, to pinkie white.

“Elena?” Sommer asked, lifting her head up.

“Heal Pulse,” Elena declared as she sent a wave of healing energy to Sommer, healing her up completely. Sommer, with her strength back, used Bounce on Candice before landing next to Elena.

Elena allowed Sommer to touch the Evo Stone as well, which caused Sommer to evolve all the way up to her Mega Ampharos Form. Elena used Psychic to levitate the Sword of Heroes over to her, and using the Evo Stone merged the two objects together. The Sword of Heroes, now empowered by the Evo Stone, made Elena stronger than she had ever been. The Evo Stone even transformed Elena from a normal fox girl into an Eevee girl.

“Ready?” Mega Sommer asked.

“Oh yes,” Elena replied as the two charged forward towards the infuriated Candice.

Back with the Behemoths, Silvergon charged at Tiga, who sidestepped, causing Silvergon to run past Tiga. Sam then remembered that Silvergon has terrible eyesight, and could only see something if it was moving. So he stood behind Silvergon and stayed completely still, as Silvergon, tried to look around for Tiga. Silvergon was confused, he could have swore he was just fighting Tiga, but he couldn’t see him, not even when he completely turned around and was facing Tiga, he just couldn't see him.

He had just turned back around to walk away, when Tiga stood back up and was about to attack him. Silvergon heard movement and spun around to counter the incoming attack, but as Tiga was standing completely still, Silvergon couldn’t see it. Tiga stood still until Silvergon had turned back around, and quickly punched the monster’s back, causing Silvergon to stumble forward. Tiga was just about to go in for a kick, but Silvergon had spun back around, so he had to balance on one leg so Silvergon wouldn’t see him move.

Silvergon just didn’t understand, was he not really fighting anything, did his prey run away without him seeing it? But that didn’t explain how he still was getting hurt. Once his back was turned again, Tiga got some balance before kicking Silvergon in the back. Silvergon was getting mad now, once Tiga had shunted his shoulder into Silvergon’s side and ducked out the way, Silvergon spun around again. The Herculean Monster roared in anger and started to blindly swipe at the air, thinking if he kept swiping his claws, he would hit something. He ran right past Tiga who stood up and roundhouse kicked Silvergon in the chest. Tiga tried to go in for another punch, but Silvergon blocked it and smacked Tiga in the face.

Tiga stumbled away and got down on the floor, before holding still as Silvergon came in, swiping his claws hoping to hit Tiga. When the timing was right, Tiga stood up and uppercut Silvergon in the jaw, and with Silvergon lowering his head, Tiga began to kick the monster in the face. Silvergon managed to block another kick, and tried to swipe Tiga again, but the Ultra ducked the attacks, and once Silvergon stopped, Tiga stood up and grabbed him by the horns, and threw the monster to the ground.

Silvergon struggled to get up from the ground, as Tiga jumped into the air and kicked Silvergon in the back of the head, causing him to fall back down to the floor. To prove how strong Tiga’s Power Type form was, Tiga grabbed Silvergon by the head, lifted him up, and cupping his right arm under Silvergon’s neck, Tiga hoisted Silvergon upside down, and slammed his head into the ground. Silvergon couldn’t do anything, he was stuck.

Back in the castle, Elena and Mega Sommer weren’t beating Candice to a pulp, she had nearly no chance to counter their attacks. Maga Sommer was keeping Candice at bay with Fire Punches, and Brick Breaks, as well as sending her flying with Dragon Tails. Elena was on another level of power. The Evo Stone was causing her to change into different Eeveelution forms, as well as changing the type of the Sword of Heroes. But she liked it, she used this to confuse Candice. She used Aqua Tail as Vaporeon, Flamethrower as Flareon, Thunder Wave as Jolteon, Dark Pulse as Umbreon, Psychic as Espeon, Leaf Blade as Leafeon, Ice Fang as Glaceon, and Draining Kiss as Sylveon. Thunder Wave and Psychic working together with Mega Sommer who would attack Candice while being paralyzed.

After getting halted by Espeon Elena’s Psychic and launched across the room and crashed through her Ice throne by Mega Sommer, Candice staggered to her feet. Her hair was a mess, she had various cuts and bruises across her body as well as burn marks, and blood trickling out her mouth.

“You… you…”she panted her voice dripping with venom, she was completely at her wits end, “You little brat! I won’t let my plans go to waste! All this time, living in this dimension, growing my army of monsters, I won’t let you just throw it all away! I’ll kill you, skin you, and use your skin as clothing!”

Mega Sommer and Elena just smirked as they powered up their final attacks. Elena turned to Flareon and channelled her burning flare in her body. Mega Sommer got down and began charging up her Electric energy. Candice gnashed her teeth, as she charged up and fired a powerful Blizzard attack.

“Revenge is a strong source,” Elena told her, “but vengeance can only take you so far!”

“The true strength of us lies within us!” Mega Sommer continued, “The love and care we have for ourselves, friends and family is the strongest source of power there is!”

“Shut up and die alright!” Candice roared, as she continued to fire her Blizzard, but no matter how much power she put into the attack, it did next to nothing to harm Elena and Mega Sommer.

Finally, Elena and Mega Sommer had finished charging up, their bodies engulfed by blazing blue fire and shocking blue electricity. Their eyes glowed blue as they shouted their attacks.

“Flare Blitz! Full Power!”

“Wild Charge! High Voltage!”

Before dashing forward, through the blizzard and towards Candice. At the same time, Tiga had flown up into the air, and started to fly straight down towards Silvergon, still stuck upside down. He began to charge up his entire body, gathering speed as he dashed towards Silvergon. Both Elena, Mega Sommer and Tiga struck their opponents at the same time, causing massive explosions. Tiga managed to destroy Silvergon with his attack, while Elena and Mega Sommer blasted Candice out of her castle and fell to the cold hard ground thousands of feet below. Candice, the Frozen Empress’s reign of terror over Geo-Equestria, had ended.

Tiga returned back down to normal size and returned to the castle, where Elena, and Mega Sommer were panting while leaning up against each other. Mega Sommer had reverted back to her Mareep form while Elena had returned to her Eevee girl self. Elena still held the Sword of Heroes, in one hand and Candice’s crown in the other. The throne room was a complete mess and the castle itself was in danger of falling off the mountain. Sam, also feeling exhausted, helped Sommer and Elena up and managed to get them out of the crumbling castle, just as the castle broke free from the mountain and fell all the way down on the ground where it smashed into millions of pieces.

“Is… is this what it feels like for you?” Elena asked Sam.

“More or less, I’m always tired after battling monsters,” Sam replied.

“But in any case,” Sommer said, “We did it. We won!”

“We…We did!” Elena cheered, “hooray for us!”

“Careful there,” Sam told her, “you’re not up to any strength to be partying.”

“You’re right,” Sommer said, “let’s get back down the mountain to the Valley of Vulpix.”

The others agreed as they turned back down the path to the village.

The sun was setting behind the mountains as the heroes returned to the village, the townsfolk were in an uproar of cheers and celebrating the defeat of the Frozen Empress. Vulpixes cheered and played, Ninetales hugged each other, and Samuel and Elenore went over to personally congratulate Sam, Elena, and Sommer, even the little Buneary came over and gave Elena a nuzzle of the cheek.

“Well Done you three,” Samuel cheered.

“We can’t thank you enough for saving us,” Elenore told them.

“How did you know that the Frozen Empress was defeated?” Sam asked them, “her castle was on the other side of the mountain.”

“We heard the castle fall, and crash on the ground,” Samuel responded, “We also saw that metal giant defeat and destroy Silvergon.”

“Well he was huge, so the explosion would be massive,” Sam replied.

“Here’s the Sword of Heroes,” Elena said, giving the sword back to Samuel, “it was a great help.”

“especially when you merged it with the Evo Stone,” Sommer commented.

“Yeah, but I’m not sure what to do with it,” Elena replied, “or how to change back to a fox girl.”

“Well maybe the Evo Stone changed you in order for you to harness its power,” Elenore guessed, “either way, you’re not too far off from a fox girl, so maybe this is your new standard self.”

“I guess you might be right,” Elena retorted.

“Plus you look so cute as an Eevee,” Sam remarked, tickling her furry cheek.

“Haha,” Elena giggled.

“But the main question still stands,” Sam pointed out, “how do we get back home?”

As if on cue, a portal suddenly opened up just outside the town on the path up to the mountain, everyone was very confused, until Zero stepped out.

“There you are!” he called out to Sam and Elena, “you will not believe how long it took me to try and find this world.”

“Zero?!” exclaimed Sam, “weren’t expecting you to show up.”

“Are you here to take us home?!” Elena exclaimed in excitement.

“No, I just travelled through over 50 dimensions just to say hi,” Zero retorted sarcastically, “Of course I’m here to bring you home.”

Sam and Elena were thrilled that they’ll be going home. They turned back to Samuel, Elenore, and Sommer to say goodbye and thank you.

“Thank you for the hospitality,” Elena told them.

“You’re very welcome,” Samuel replied.

“And again, thank you for defeating the evil Frozen Empress,” Elenore thanked.

“It was our pleasure,” Sam retorted, “now when we get back, I’m sure the Queen of the Ice Kingdom would like her crown to be returned.”

Sam and Elena turned to the portal and followed Zero through it, waving goodbye to the townsfolk. Once they were gone, the Valley of Vulpix celebrated the evening away. But while they partied and the portal started to disappear, no one noticed that Candice, who had somehow survived, stumbled her way to the portal and walked through it just before it closed.
