CH.1: Out Of Their World, to Another?!
It began in China, Qingqing City. News spread when a first born child in a hospital was given powers no one even thought it was possible. Later on eye-witness confirm that other people throughout the world started to also gain powers, and still have no answers as to where they’re coming from. Each individual had different types of abilities. Ice, fire, super strength, super speed, bending metal, growing to the size of a Titan, gravity, and much more. These born miracles were given an official name by the scientist who studied them: Quirks. Because of these quirks they gave birth to something where citizens of society could be safe and looked up to as idols, it was one that all kids would only find in a comic book but never have imagined to become a reality.
Heroes!
Defenders of japan and hosu city. Protectors of the innocent and the light that brings hope to all hearts of man, women, and children. They were so great and extraordinary people were inspired by them and were encouraged to become a hero themselves. However, there was one Hero that everyone looked up to the most, he was one that brought smiles to all souls that tremble in fear from villains, he was the pillar, the symbol of peace, and his name was All Might. In the eyes of evil he was unbeatable: his walls were so high there was almost no end to it. His strength and speed were overwhelming, never could they be matched with any hero nor villain; though society and the Internet still wondered what kind of quirk he had, the answer still remained unknown.
That is, until the number one hero All might, met a fifteen year old fanboy then shared with him the secret of his power: This young man had been quirkles since the age of six, he was someone that looked up to his number one hero as an idol and dreamed of becoming just like him, he studied all the heroes from A-to-B including their powers, he was very inspiring to his classmates and his name was Izuku Midoriya.
After the incident with the slime-monster and witnessing the boy’s brave stunt he knew then and there that he had found a successor with great potential. He offered the young man to inherit the power he willed witch was known as:
One for all.
Like carrying a sacred torch and then passing it down to another, and then another, as it’s passed down to a new user it grows stronger and the walls stretch higher then any tower in the world. Filled by determination he spent ten months of hell building his body up in order to inherit the power; as the final day arrived he completed his training and claimed his reward—by eating a curved yellow hair line. Disgusting indeed but besides that he inherited the power.
Many events had taken place since his first day at U.A. He met new friends with incredible quirks, they experienced their first encounter with the villains and fought them to the end. He lost his first tournament but learned a few lessons from it and his mentor.
He found ways of controlling One for all by using five percent as his limit; and in each of his battles the power within him slowly grew stronger but by what cause? Broken bones and permanent scars. Leading up to today he’s still striving on becoming a hero and beating any obstacles in any way he can, however, our young hero and his two friends have another adventure awaiting them. One that they’ll remember for a life-time.

Northeast China - Daxing'anling Larch
8:30PM
Katsuki Bakugou stared at the horizon with an expression of profound boredom on his face. He tried not to let it get to him, but sometimes waiting for a villain to show up felt like the most mind numbing job as a hero. Earlier today he and his two friends signed up for a mission to hunt down an unknown villain, he heard many rumors that this villain they’re looking for is dangerous and shouldn’t be underestimated. But after all his hardcore training he’s now prepared for anything that’ll be thrown at him.
“Ugh, this is boring. We’ve been sitting on our asses for almost two hours now and yet not one damn villain has showed up!” Bakugou complained, laying his back on a rock with his hands behind his head.
“We can’t lose our focus though Bakugou,” Todoroki said repositioning himself cross legged on a tree branch looking down at him, “Endeavor told us that if we drop even the slightest of our guard down we’ll lose him.”
“Shut up Icy-hot I know that!” Bakugou shouted up at him. Ignoring his responsive insult Todoroki turns his head to his other friend who stood behind Bakugou’s rock. With a book in hand, Midoriya was writing down what he learned through training.
“Let’s see if I go up like this it’ll probably do the trick,” he muttered under his breath, “But if I go too fast I might lose balance and miss my target; once we finish our mission I’ll have to continue practicing it in order to master it to its full potential, but I also have to make sure I don’t use my arms too much, I can’t risk breaking them then I already have. I don’t want to worry my Mom or All Might, I don’t think—”
“Midoriya?” Todoroki called, pulling his friend out from his deep mind of thoughts and back to reality.
“Yeah Todoroki?” Midoriya returned, glancing up at him.
“See anything from the field?” Todoroki asked.
“No not yet but I’ll let you know when I—” Izuku was about to finish until he felt small vibrations coming from his lower thigh. He tilts his head downward finding the source from within his right pocket, then reaches down and pulls out his phone. Facing the screen before him the phone comes to life revealing an image of the whole mapping area with three green dots in a triangular formation indicating him, and his friends as the green dots on the map.
But that wasn’t what got Izuku alarmed. His phone registered a heat bloom about a few yards from their current location. The red dot was moving fast passing through the trees as it pinged every second on the radar. There was no doubt who it was that’s running...
“Guys the villain’s here. Through the woods and he’s getting away!” Izuku shouted, pointing at the trees, “Let’s go!”
Immediately One for All erupted in a burst of emerald lightning around his entire body and Izuku’s eyes narrowed. The villain was on the move again and this time they’re right on his tail without him even realizing it. Bursting with speed, Izuku starts running straight towards the direction their target was going, with Bakugou and Todoroki following from behind. Many animals from all around were startled by the speed and blur of green bolts of lightning passing through the trees. On the right Bakugou was hopping from tree to tree blasting a few explosives from his palms. He let out a huff hating the thought to be left in second place, small twinkling sparks grew as the palm of his hands began lightening up before creating a boost sending him flying ten feet in the air and going as fast as the speed of light, the wind filled his ears and a smile formed around the corners of his lips as he did so.
Long tower size trees were bent over creating an opening for a large triangular block of ice to rise from the ground. Down on one knee on the tip was Todoroki driving it as a transporter to catch up with his friends. When the two rookies caught up with their leader Todoroki called from above. “Midoriya! Any ideas on how we should take him down?”
“Not yet,” Deku replied. “I haven’t studied how powerful his quirk is, so watch out for any tricks he might throw at us!”
Katsuki clicked his tongue before telling them clearly. “That bastard’s mine you hear me?! Once we catch up to him I’ll be the one who’ll take him down.”
“Kachan..” Said Midoriya turning to his right, his eyes meeting his profile, “It’s too risky to take him out on your own; we don’t know how powerful his quirk is, so we mustn’t underestimate him and be cautious. We need to think of a plan.”
“I know!” He shouted.
As the three pushed on their chase the black hooded target up ahead was darting his grey eyes from left and right his mind scrambling for ways of how to get away from those pesky heroes; and he’ll have to think of one quick for he can hear them drawing closer every minute—seconds even! Maybe he could kill them? No, bad idea there’s three of them and he’s only one; sure his quirk is strong but up against three opponents would drain his energy and will become reachable enough to be taken out so facing them head on is out of the question. Maybe he could blind them with another one of his tricks? No! That one won’t do either; they'll still find him either way and he has already used that trick twice so what makes him think they’ll fall for that again? Wait..? There is that. Yes, it’ll work, it’ll definitely work. A small smirk formed on the villain’s lips once he had made his decision. He began to slow down trying to act as realistically exhausted as possible.
Bakugou’s sharp eye noticed this as he and his team were beginning to reach him. ‘The bastard must be tired, huh?’ He thought to himself However he felt in his gut that something was wrong and before he could mention it to them he heard.
“Look! He’s slowing down. This is our chance!” Izuku’s excitement kicked in, then without thinking or hesitating his power boosted and he launched towards him.
“Midoriya wait!” Shouted Todoroki.
“You dumb-ass!” Shouted Bakugou.
When the villain heard this a smile rose from his lips. ‘What a fool...’ he thought to himself. Time seemed to slow down as his thumb slid down to the tips of his finger; and with one quick motion he snapped them and went blind from a light that radiated crazily from his fingers. It lasted for a good two minutes before it cleared out. He cautiously opened his eyes slowly, giving them time to adjust, then turned his body around to see if his plan was successful; and when he saw the sight before him he got his answer. Once before him the spot those three kids were standing was now replaced with a small bowl shaped quarter.
Just like that: they were gone. Although he couldn't help himself but asked exactly where he sent them?
“Auntie, what’s a Hero?” A young filly stared curiously at a book that she had borrowed from a friend of hers. "I’ll be your Hero!" Called by the title. The image of the book revealed a young stallion. Besides his head wearing full metal armor defending the princess who stares in worry for the boy while her protector stares back at his foe. A giant blue dragon. After studying this she turned to face the older mare, awaiting for an answer.
“Hmm let’s see...,” she tapped her hoof to her chin, “A Hero is someone who’s willing to risk everything to save a life; and they do it out of a pure heart too, not for money or fame. They just simply want to help and that’s what makes them true heroes in my book.” The older mare looked down at her scarf and stroked her hoof on it. “In-fact, I was once saved by one. Do you know who that is?”
The young filly shook her head. “No?”
“Your great grand-father.” She told the young filly.
The filly tilted her head. “He was your Hero?”
The older mare nodded. “Yes, He was everyone’s Hero. Which is why I want to tell you what my mother told me when I was your age,” The mare wrapped her hoof around the child’s back pulling her close to her. The filly leaned her head against the warmth of her body, resting against it. “You see child, every true Hero whether real or in stories carries a light, a light that brings hope, safety to all creatures and one that smashes the darkness that harms it. This light is passed down to generation—to generation; each wielding it for the sake of saving and protecting the lives of innocents.”
The little filly smiled happily, closing her eyes as she listened, the soft words of the older mare flowing through her ears. She couldn’t help but create an image in the back of her little mind of a silhouette of a pony with light shining bright around them. She wondered if she’ll ever have her own hero.
“So please remember this. One day when you feel like all hope is lost and you see darkness closing in from all corners. You will be saved—whether a pony, a griffin, a minotaur, that someone will be...”
Diamond tiara stared at the book in her hoof with an expression of profound disappointment on her face. She has never told anyone this but she has a grudge against tales of heroes Including those who she were told are "True Heroes," if that were true then why have they come not?
"Because they’re not real. They’re just myths to make all ponies and filly’s believe they are.." She thought harshly to herself while gently placing the book on the top shelf before rolling her body around and exited the library. While leaving she thought of what plans she should make for ponyville’s summer-art festival who’ll be hosted by the four princesses: The Princess of the sun, the princess of the moon, and the princess of friendship. Just the thought of them being there excites her something Tiara wouldn’t admit to any pony—especially those three trios.
“Tiara, there you are!” The Young mare’s ears perked up at the call of their voice. It didn’t take her a second to recognize who that belonged to, as she heard the sounds of hooves galloping from behind and when it grew closer it slowed down to her pace as there were now three filly’s walking beside her. The one on the left was a young yellow earth pony with a red mane and tail with a large pink bow over her head. Her cutie mark was shaped like a heraldic shield, the central image being an apple superimposed with a heart.
The other at the end was a white unicorn, from mane to tail they were streaks of pink and lavender. Her cutie mark was the same as the other with a different image, hers was a five pointed star with a musical note in it.
Finally the third, she had a short dark purple mane and tail that contrasted quite right with her orange coat. Like the other two she had the same shield shaped cutie mark, with a wing superimposed with a bolt of lightning, all done in three colors. Red, lavender, and purple. These three trios are perfect as a team when they’re together, and their names were Applebloom, Sweetiebelle, and Scootaloo: the cutie mark crusaders.
Tiara turned to Applebloom while making it clear to her and the other two. “Whatever it is you wanna tell me, make it quick. I’m a little busy.”
“Tiara we was wonderin’ if y'all could help us with our project for the summer art festival?” Asked Applebloom.
“Yeah we plan to make it our best one yet,” said Scootaloo, “and one that’ll shock even the princess!”
“So what do you say?” Sweetiebelle asked, looking at her with hopeful eyes.
Tiara raised a brow. “What exactly is it that you girls are making?”
“Well ah’m glad y'all ask. Me and the girls have been crafting a big statue of starswirl the bearded made out of diamond; we’ve got done with the legs, hooves and body but not the head so we thought we could use a helpin' hoof.” Applebloom explained as all four fillies moved to the side allowing a carriage to pass by them.
“We got permission from Princess Cadance to borrow one of her few diamond shards and she allowed us to take the biggest one; Incase you’re asking.” Scootaloo added.
Tiara decided to question them further. “And how long will it take to finish it?”
“It’ll be done right before the festival begins.” Sweetiebelle replied, throwing a hoof in the air with joy.
Before Diamond Tiara could even say “Well, I’m not sure...” her words were cut-instant when she saw that all three of the fillies were looking at her. Their lips quivered, and their eyes were close to a puppies eyes. Tiara has seen those once from Sweetiebelle but all together is really doing a number on her.
“Okay, okay! I’ll help if you promise not to make those stupid puppy-dog eyes anymore!” When she said this all the fillies cheered. It was settled and so she followed them towards the tree house. She let out a small sigh thinking in the back of her mind. “Friends... what can you do?”
The Everfree-Forest
Deep in the dank and eerie wilderness of the forest there were two young colt earth-ponies. Both of them were twins with the same black-grayish coat and long stylish light-brown mane and tail; the differences between the two they both share the same eye color from their parents, the brother to the right had blue eyes taking after his father, and the brother to the left his were light yellow he took that after his mother. Their names were Big-Ty & Cotton-bean. The twins were on their way to the exit while having a bit of an argument with each-other; a few hours ago the older brother had heard rumors of a treasure-chest buried somewhere in the everfree forest, within it has so much gold that it could make any mare or stallion rich.
When he heard this he wanted to invite his brother along to search for it, however his brother thought it was nonsense and that it was not worth his time to search for something that was too good to be true. Still Big-Ty persisted and after a minute of convincing him to tag-along he agreed; it didn’t take them long for them to reach for the entrance—once they made their way in they began their search for the hidden treasure, Big-Ty had many ideas on what he would do if they both found it, his mind filled with so many possibilities. After an hour of searching and digging through hole after holes, they found something. And when they did both twins were left speechless as what they'd found was not a treasure-chest—nor was it a pot of gold. All that was there was an old dusty shoe box.
This saddened Big-ty while his brother on the other hand was not quite happy at what he was seeing. Witch brings them to where they are now; with their continuous argument as they head through a single file towards the exit.
“Stupid rumors, I knew I should’ve stayed home...” Said Cotton under his breath.
Big-ty sighed. “Come on Cotton. How many times do I have to say it? I’m sorry..”
“If I hadn’t listened to you my time would’ve never been wasted! I was supposed to be finishing my new sculpture of Princess Luna, which took me two months to make and is close to finishing and would’ve been finished an hour ago now, would it? No—instead I had to come out here with you wandering around in the middle of the woods searching for some dumb chest all because of some stupid rumor!”
The young colt’s ears lowered behind his head before turning away from his brother. “I know...” Said Big-ty. When the young colt was about to change the subject, his ears perked up when he heard a soft sound of humming—while at the same time halting in his tracks. Left and right ty turned from each direction looking for the source, listening closely to life around the forest.
Cotton also stopped after noticing his twin wasn’t beside him. He turned to his shoulder, finding him moving his head from side to side. “Seriously, what’re you doing now?” Cotton asked under his breath rolling his body to approach him, “The summer art festival is about to begin and I don’t wanna be—”
Cotton was about to finish his sentence only for Ty to shove a hoof over his mouth giving a quiet. “Shh... listen.”
Not knowing what his brother was so on about he did as he was told and silenced himself.
‘Listen to what? I don’t hear anything..’ He thought to himself while scanning their surroundings. Suddenly Cotton heard the sound of humming coming from his right. At the same time they both turned to the source of that sound until it vanished instantly.
“Do you hear that?” Big-ty asked not to take his eyes off from the direction of the noise from earlier.
“Yeah, I hear it.” Cotton replied, nodding his head slowly.
Then before the two colts could say anything, another humming was heard. Every second it got louder & louder; the surrounding area they were in became engulfed in a bright white light. The twins looked up as that was where the humming was coming from and spotted a white ball-shaped portal right above the two, several meters above them. The white portal wasn't very big but the increasing brightness of its light was enough to worry them. So much so that they began to back themselves away from it.
They wanted to run away without looking back. While on the other half were too curious seeing how the sound emitting light was right above them and how long it was going to float there. As soon as they were going to hot-tail and run, within an instant the portable exploded. Big-ty and Cotton sealed their eyes shut by the blinding radiating light that passes through the ever-forest. It lasted for a good ten seconds until it faded leaving behind smoke in the whole area.
Cotton ventured to take a peek to see if it was safe then looked just in time to see his brother still by his side. But that wasn’t what increased his worries as he looked into his brother's eyes, as he saw a bit of fear in them. Cotton was about to ask until a small groan turned his attention to the sight where the light was last seen. It was hard for him to make up what he was seeing but behind the smoke were silhouettes of three unidentified creatures. Each side, one was laying on their backs; the other on their bellies, the third... was moving.
The twins watched as the creature groaned again, it tried to crack open its big round green eyes to see where it was. Doing so, it was greeted with the blind sight of smoke then it turned its head and their eyes met the twins. Not taking much more of this then they already have the twins turned and galloped out of there not daring to look if the creature was following them.
Izuku awoke with a groan. His head aching, throbbing mercilessly. His ears rang with a perpetual, pitched sound that was so high his hands grasped his head shaking slowly to ease the pain. He plants his forehead on the earth’s floor while continuing to shake the pain away. Luckily the throbbing began to fade-away along with the ringing in his ears. He sighed in relief that the awful storm of pain from his head had subsided. When he cracked his eyes open to try and see if he and his friends were still where they stood he was met with a wall of smoke that surrounded him from all sides. Wait, smoke? There wasn’t any smoke when he was still conscious; and not only that but where did the villain go? He took a turn to his right hoping to find a clearing but his eyes halted when they saw something beyond the fog.
They looked to be silhouettes of not one—but two small heads with big round eyes staring back at his. Realizing they’ve been spotted they vanish instantly before he could even say anything. “What was that?” Asked Izuku under his breath. Then Izuku flinched—it struck him like a bell being pulled back and forth when memories of the recent event started coming back together.
Their mission . . . the forest . . . and the villain.
Bakugou. . . Todoroki!
Filled with worry and piqued with concern he jolted fully awake quickly getting to his feet. He rolled his body from behind to where he last heard their shouts. Doing so, his heart calmed down then let out a relieved sigh at the sight before him. Young Bakugou and Todoroki were in good condition, no sign of injuries or bruises. Reassured that they’re alright he first walked towards his childhood friend who’s face and belly were on the ground.
He goes down on one knee, stretches his arm to reach for his shoulder then nudges it gently. “Kacchan? Kacchan, please wake up.” When Bakugou didn’t respond, he repeated himself a bit louder. This worked as he heard a muffled groan while also slapping Izuku’s hand off of him. He left him alone and headed over to Todoroki repeating the same process he did with Bakugou. This took time as the same merciless-pain that had come over to Izuku was now on them; and so he waited for it to ware off on them.
When it did they picked themselves up from the ground—still holding their heads. Todoroki was the first to ask. “Midoriya... are you alright?”
Izuku nodded. “Yeah. What about you, how’re you feeling?
“Felt worse but I’ll be okay.”
“Damn it!” Bakugou cursed, stomping his foot on the ground out of anger. “We almost had him, he was right there in our grasp. Did we not tell you to wait, damn Deku?!”
“Not sure about him..” Todoroki added.
Izuku backed up smiling nervously while rubbing his hand on the back of his nape. “Heh heh, I’m sorry,” he said, “I saw the opportunity right in-front of me and I thought I could grab him at arm's reach—”
“He was leading you to a trap and you fell for it. If you had listened, icy-hot over here could’ve just flanked him and frozen him from the spot; then I would’ve taken the turn to finish him off. But now he’s gone!”
While the hot-air head continued to shout at him Todoroki couldn’t help but notice something odd in the corner of his eye. The trees . . . did they always have scary faces in them? And the area they’re in doesn’t look familiar to him. ‘Something’s not right here..’ he thought to himself while scanning the whole area. ‘Did we go into a new path, or am I just dreaming..?’
My Hero Academia - The Movie: Heroes Of Equestria!

Once Bakugou was done with his anger tantrum they began walking straight through the forest. As the three walked through the single file Izuku began to realize a few things. One; the path they were taking didn’t look familiar to him, nor does he remember crossing this path that they’ve taken whilst chasing the villain along the way. Two; there was something about the trees that seemed different to Izuku, he wasn’t sure yet but he couldn’t remove that itch in his head that repeated three words that came said under his breath. “Some things... not right.”
“Hey Midoriya?” Shoto Called causing Izuku to break out of his thoughts, then rolled his body around to face him.
“Hm? Yeah Todoroki?”
“We’re lost aren't we?” Todoroki asked while looking at Izuku, waiting for his answer.
“Yeah, I’m afraid we are,” he answered honestly, “none of this looks familiar; when I tried to go back to our foot-steps it’s like they’ve vanished, now I don’t know where we are or where we’re going.” The young hero stood for a moment ruffling his hair with his hand, hoping the doors in his mind would open for an idea. Sure enough, they responded and his face light-up before shouting. “Our phones! We can use the map in our phones to pin-point where we are, then—”
“Don’t bother, Deku!” Bakugou told him, “I’ve already tried. Damn thing’s not working.”
When Todoroki heard this he too reached down his pocket pulling out his phone. What he found next left him in disappointment. “He’s right, mine's not working either; the WiFi’s gone out too.”
Hearing this new info took the young hero by surprise. The map’s not working nor is the internet? Maybe they’ve gone too far from the city? No that can’t be it, Aokigahara Is big but it’s not hard for them to look it up on the map and find their way through to make their way back. “So why,” Deku asked under his breath, “How’re we going around in circles, what am I missing?” Through his muttering he still wondered—his mind filled with questions yet couldn’t find an answer to them.
“Hey guys,” Shoto called while pointing out, “I think I see something up-ahead.” Izuku turned to his direction before catching up to him with Bakugou following behind.
As the three made their way through the bushes they noticed a small glimmer of light piercing through leaves. The light slowly started to get brighter as they moved closer, and closer. Todoroki was the first to walk through the file’s exit, Bakugou coming second, then Izuku coming last. When he got through though, he brought his arm to his eyes, shielding them as the light had increased while picking up the sound of birds chirping; and a breeze blowing gently on his face. The young-man waited patiently for a moment before slowly opening them, adjusting his vision to everything that’s loading into view.
The first thing he saw from afar was a bridge, on the other-side leading a thin rectangular-shaped road that takes a small turn then goes straight until it ends at what looked like from afar an abandoned castle. There were plants, grass and trees growing from the inside behind the brick wall. It probably looked like that for a very long time, or maybe it was like that for days, weeks, months, a-hundred years in Izuku's case. The three of them went onward as they made their way out of the forest, following the path along the bridge, took a round turn, approaching the ruin-castle.
“I didn’t know there was a castle in the middle of the forest.” Todoroki said as they approached the stairs before the abandoned castle, the three of them studied its broken features.
“Do you think someone could be living here?” Izuku asked as he looked around, trying to spot any citizens.
“I don’t think so Midoriya.” Todoroki replied, looking around himself before going up the stairs.
“Idiots, this place looks too bashed up for anyone to still be here; and even if someone lived here they’re probably long gone by now.” Bakugou commented as he walked up to the front door of the castle, then without hesitating—brought his foot up kicking the door open, continuing forward with Todoroki behind him.
When Izuku headed up the stairs to catch up with his friends, he stopped for a moment. furrowed his brow and turned away from the door. He scanned the area, but saw nothing out of the ordinary. Everything looked as it should and he was the only one, yet what he was hearing persisted, and he couldn't put his tongue on what it was. It was slightly slow, but after a few moments of bewilderment, it gradually became clearer, and Izuku was able to identify it. He continued to listen and his focus deepened as he picked out what he was hearing.
Is someone... singing?
Yes, it sounded like someone was singing some sort of song. It was a looping, unfamiliar, and catchy melody. It was faint at first, but slowly grew in volume, and he wondered where it was coming from. As it got closer he began to make out the song of it’s lyrics:
Muffins, Muffins, Oh how I love my Muffins! Muffins, Oh how I love my Muffins! Muffins, Oh how I love my Muffins!
The catchy loop came to a pause when he heard a loud, “Whoops!” And the sky rained with small white-envelopes, all of them gently landing on the grass. In that moment he saw a sight far from him that left him speechless.
Landing on the ground was a two-winged grey horse.
Izuku couldn’t believe what he was seeing. After everything that had happened to him meeting his number one hero All Might, as the ninth holder of One for All and with the Villains; he was greatly surprised by this grey horse. He quietly stepped down the stairs not wanting it to know his presence. He looked down at its sides and found that it wasn't a horse, but instead it was a pegasus. Its mane was oddly like the color of wheat, the same can be said of its tail; he saw that it had an odd permanent mark on its flank. Bubbles maybe?
He sadly made a fatal mistake when his foot stepped on a piece of leaf, alarming the grey pegasus to crack its head to his direction.
‘Oh no, I've been spotted!’ Midoriya thought in a panic, ‘What do I do?’ He watched as the pegasus’s eyes widened in shock gazing at him in an expression of curiosity.
"No way, so lyra wasn’t crazy. They do exist," the pegasus whispered in a feminine voice as it got closer. Midoriya’s eyes widened in shock when he heard her speak.
It... it can talk?
The grey pegasus slowly approached him, her lips forming a friendly smile while one eye looked up at him while the other he couldn’t tell where it was looking.
“Hi, I’m Derpy. It’s nice to meet you hoomin.” She introduces herself, “I’m sorry if I can’t spell the name of your race right, my eyes are a little quirky but anyway, what’s your name stranger?” She seemed friendly enough to tell him her name, so he guess it’s only fair if he told her his.
“U-Um... i-i-it’s I-Izuku M-Midoriya...” he said, stuttering in his sentence through Introduction, still out of shock that this horse can actually speak. Derpy placed her hoof on her chin pondering.
“Hmm, Izuku Midoriya... I’ve never heard that name before. I like it though, welcome to Equestria Mr. Midoriya!” She said happily welcoming him.
Equestria? An odd name for a country—indeed, he’s never heard of that before. Was it something he missed during a history lesson in Aizawa’s classes? First a talking horse who calls herself Derpy—now she’s welcoming him to a country that he, his friends are supposedly in and has never heard of in history books. It was getting more interesting as minutes went by and he was taking so much of this.
Actually, now that he knows this pegasus can talk this could be a good time to ask her some questions. However his attempt shortly paused when he heard a ticking sound coming from Derpy. She brought her hoof to her face and on her wrist was what Izuku confirmed to be a watch. These horses use watches like humans do?
“Oh sweet Celestia I’m gonna be late!” She cried, rolling her body around to collect the last of the envelopes, putting them back in her bags, readying her wings then turning to look at Izuku one last time.
‘Wait who’s Celestia?’ Izuku thought to himself, his brow quirked up with a bewildering expression.
“Sorry Mr Midoriya, I gotta go. Hope you have a nice day, bye!” Derpy said, waving her hoof at him. With a good flap she took off in the air flying in the same direction she was heading while once again singing that looping song to herself.
He watches as she flys away getting smaller due to how farther she was until he couldn’t see her anymore. Now it was just him, alone, confused and deep in thought. He began remembering the incident with the villain; the bright light that flashed him and his friends, the new appearances from the trees, grass, plants, and just recently encountered a talking grey pegasus who welcomed him to a country known as ‘Equestria?’
Putting all of this together left him with a theory. Could that villain’s quirk somehow be a teleport dimensioning quirk? If so it would make sense to what just happened now. ‘We’ve been transported out from our world… to another?!’
CRYSTAL CASTLE
11:00PM
EQUESTRIA
Twilight and Spike made their way back to their crystal castle and went inside. Putting the boxes away, the two entered the main library where Starlight was seen with her head in a large cardboard box.
“Hey, Starlight,” Spike called.
Hearing her name, Starlight poked her head up out of the box. “Oh. Hi, Spike, Twilight.”
“Hello," Twilight returned before eyeing the box. “Is that the new shipment of fireworks I ordered and please tell me they didn’t get it wrong?”
“Nope everything’s all here! And there’s all different kinds of fireworks they sent us!"
“Really, what kind?” Spike asked with curiosity as he walked over to see what else could be in the box.
“Hey!” Twilight called getting both of their attention. “Don’t touch any of them. The trigger lines beneath them are very sensitive so the slightest touch could set them off, so be sure to be extra careful with them, okay, you two?”
“Yeah.” They both nodded their heads.
With the box of fireworks moved in line with the other boxes, Twilight and Starlight went out to pick up the other set of supplies in boxes from the hallway, while Spike sat down with a manual to read through. Flipping past the cover and the introductory page, Spike looked at the table of contents slowly following every guideline on each chapter. However, as he read through them all, he paused when realization struck him, he looked up from his book.
“Hey, Twilight?” Spike called.
"Yes?" Twilight returned, carrying a bigger box with her magic.
"How many sets of fireworks did you order?"
“Five of course,” she immediately answered.
Looking back at the box, Spike pointed with his claw for Twilight to see. “Then why did they only bring back one?”
Twilight quirked an eyebrow. “That can't be right. I’m pretty sure I distinctly remember ordering five sets of boxes. Ugh, I knew they would mess up my order. This happens every time!”
Twilight carefully placed the box on top of the other then walked over to the little drake.
“Spike grab a parchment and write down a letter to the ponies of the company.” She told him while using her magic to rearrange the books in their proper place.
“I uh… can’t. Because we’re out of list parchment.”
Twilight paused and slowly blinked. “... what?”
“Yeah. You used the last of it yesterday, remember?” Spike reminded her.
When Twilight heard this news she face-hoofed her forehead before letting out a disappointing sigh. “Right… Starlight?”
Starlight poked her head up out of a book she was reading. “Yes Twilight?”
“Could you go out and get me some more parchments? And before you do, bring in the last box of flowers outside of the castle.”
“Sure, I’ll be back.”
Up Starlight got, she exited out of the library making her way down the stairs, to the carpeted hallway, towards the main entrance. Once outside she glanced down and there she found a box filled with dandelion flowers. Her horn lit up but before she could grab it her ears went up when she heard the birds singing an oh sweet melody. Starlight glanced up at the skies to see a flock of birds flying forward in a group, whilst singing beautifully in harmony. staring out, Starlight couldn't help but smile at how beautiful it was today in Ponyville, ponies were happily going about their daily lives, the sky was clear and blue, and the sun was shining.
Giggling to herself Starlight turned away from the sight carrying the box with her magic, but turned back almost immediately, she had seen something out of the corner of her eye. Gently setting down the box at the entrance, she looked down. There was a small green box wrapped in white ribbon with a bow on top on the dirt road, curious Starlight stepped down and trotted towards it. As she got close to it her ears twitched as they started picking up something. It was faint but close and whatever she’s hearing, the source was inside of the box.
She leaned her head in, venturing her right ear to the front of the box in order to hear it clearer. Tick, she thought to herself, tick… tick… ticking?
“Something’s ticking, is there a clock in here. . ?” Asked Starlight under breath, as she listened closely. Suddenly the ticking stopped and without giving Starlight time to react the box exploded and her world faded in white.
Bakugou and Todoroki enter a long passage. At the end were stairs climbing up to two more from side to side. The two darted their eyes from left to right as they found four paths leading to long carpeted hallways. Glancing up Todoroki noticed two long rectangular flags hanging from the ceiling, each having their color. The one on the right was a blue flag with an image of a light blue horse, with sparkles going around the waning crescent moon. Although after looking deeper he realized it wasn’t a horse, rather it was… an Alicorn?
Yes, it is an Alicorn. He looked to the flag on the left and sure enough it was the same as the other except this one was yellow with the image of an Alicorn that was as white as snow with the sun radiating from above. He continued to gaze until he pulled his eyes off of them, looking forward, catching up to Bakugou as they wandered through the ruins.
“Kacchan! Todoroki!” Izuku called aloud.
Hearing both their names, Bakugou and Todoroki turned their heads to see Izuku Midoriya running up to them. Once he was in front of the two he cleared his throat and revealed to them. “I don’t know how this was possible but whatever that villain’s quirk did it must’ve sent the three of us to a whole other world; I know because just now I was talking to a pegasus that can speak our language!”
Bakugou tilted his head in bewilderment.
“Hold up, a whole other world? Talking Pegasus? The hell are you talking about Deku?”
Todoroki nodded.
“I agree, you’re not making any sense Midoriya. Horses don’t speak like us… except in children cartoons” Todoroki said, causing Bakugou to shake his head at him.
Izuku placed his right hand near his heart, pressing on to them.
“I swear to you guys I’m not making this up,” Izuku said pointing from the main entrance, his eyes still fixed on Bakugou and Todoroki, “I was literally talking to Derpy not too long ago and—”
Bakugou raised his hand, stopping Izuku from his sentence. “Wait a god-damn minute… Did you say her name is Derpy?”
“Um, yes that’s her name. But that’s not the point! She even told me what country we’re in, called Equestria.”
There was a short delay on Katsuki Bakugou’s brain as it functioned to process Izuku’s words into his head. Though when it did he collapsed to the ground, his stomach bent as his arms wrapped tightly around it, and started laughing hysterically.
“D-DERPY? EQUESTRIA? JUST HOW MANY KITTY SHOWS HAVE YOU BEEN WATCHING DEKU?!” Bakugou howled with laughter, as he pounded the ground with his fist. Unable to contain his mirth at the conclusion of Izuku's explanation of the morning's events. "WHAT’S NEXT ARE YOU GONNA TELL US, THAT YOU AND YOUR NEW FRIEND DERPY ARE GONNA RUN DOWN THE RAINBOW?!!” The boy roared, struggling to rise from where he had fallen, paralyzed with laughter.
Izuku frowned at this sight.
“Kacchan…”
Lowering his head, Izuku let out a disappointing sigh while ignoring his childhood friends' continuous laughter. Maybe, he thought to himself, if they were there they would’ve believed. Just as Izuku thought of this he heard the faint sounds of someone screaming. Whoever it belonged to came about a mile from their current location, getting him and his friends attention as they stared outside of the main door.
Twilight Sparkle’s ears went up when her and Spike felt the whole castle quake from what sounded like an explosion. Twilight and Spike immediately ran towards the balcony glancing down to the direction of the explosion before being blinded by a mushroom shaped grey smoke.
“Starlight? Starlight?!” Spike called loudly, as his head scanned the surrounding area for any sign of his missing friend. Twilight’s wings spread wide before turning her head looking down at her assistant.
“Get on Spike!” Twilight commanded. Without hesitating the little drake hopped on her back. Twilight’s eyes narrowed as her wings flapped, lifting her off from the floor balcony then shooting towards the sky, the wind whipping past them both.
Once airborne, her ears perked up when she heard another explosion going off from a small apartment, then another went off, and another. Screams of mares, stallions and fillies filled the air, as they ran for their lives down the road. Seeing this sight she felt her stomach tie into knots at the idea that some-pony would plan this without her or anyone knowing.
“Twilight look, over there!”
Twilight turned her head to the direction of his claw pointed and blinked when she saw a tall black hooded bipedal figure sprinting down the road, her eyes widened when she recognized the unconscious lavender unicorn wrapped around the figure’s arm.
Starlight! She thought, realizing who it was.
“Hold on tight Spike!” She told the little drake before pulling back, diving down in a burst of speed aiming straight for the figure’s wide open back. Her hooves within contact made a direct impact causing the hooded figure to fall face down, releasing their grip from Starlight’s waist as she fell to the ground.
Giving them a good flap she landed carefully on the dirt road then turned her head at the little drake on her back and ordered. “Go see if Starlight’s okay. I'll keep an eye on this kidnapper.”
“Yes ma’am!” Spike saluted, hopping off her back, running towards the unconscious unicorn.
Whipping her head back she glared at the figure still face down on the ground taking three steps towards it.
“State your business here!” She demanded, stomping her hoof on the ground, “Why were you after my friend?”
“Ahh your royal highness, Twilight Sparkle, so nice to see you.” Spoke a deep male voice.
Up ahead she looked straight when she heard her name. Staring at her was a dark brownish Minotaur bigger than even Iron will himself, beside his right horn his left was cracked and long gone, highlighted by the many fights he had with other minotaurs. His eyes were a lot like Iron will’s but the way they gazed down at her unsettled her greatly. He wore a smooth black suit, a red tie wrapped properly around his neck, a navy blue shirt, and a cigar clenched in his teeth that billowed out smoke from the tip.
“I take it you’re the boss of your friend over here?” Twilight asked, looking down at the hooded figure still unmoving from where it laid. The Minotaur boss chuckled.
“You could say that, though I wouldn't say we’re friends, he just works for me is all.” He answered, crossing his arms.
Twilight circled around the unmoving figure. Once she stood before him she glared in anger at the minotaur, highlighted by the burning buildings, and her student almost taken.
“Who are you and why were you trying to take my friend?!” Twilight demanded, glaring at him intensely.
The Minotaur boss smirked at her.
“Sorry princess but that’s none of your business,” he said, taking his cigar from his mouth back in his hand with his left arm crossed, chuckling to himself.
“With ponies being salvaged like livestock it is my business!” Twilight stated, refusing to give in to the fear that dread inside her by staying firm and stood her ground.
The Minotaur boss clicked his tongue, somewhat annoyed by her persistence.
“Enough of this I don’t have time to waste on you… get rid of her.”
“Twilight look out!” Spike shouted.
Noticing the lack of sunlight Twilight whipped to her shoulder before she felt her windpipe clamped tightly by the hands of the Minotaur. Left hand grabbing onto its cloak it threw it to the side violently, revealing his true colors. This one was as big as his boss and wore long dark grey pants with the hem ending on his ankles, he wore a light blue unbuttoned jacket, and his face was covered by an ancient croc-like hockey mask. She tried with all her might to get air, as her head twitched and jerked. She struggled to breathe trying to pull herself away, ineffectively hitting his arm to release his grip. Lightning up her horn she blasted a beam of magic square to the minotaur’s chest, her sockets widened when the beam exploded in particles.
It didn’t have any effect? Twilight’s eyes darted back to his hand and found the source of his strength. The Minotaur’s good hand was shrouded in a blackish purple aura of magic, something she had never seen before. Could it be some type of new ancient dark magic? Her mind couldn’t answer as without warning the goon’s grip tightened and she could barely gasp for air. Twilight wondered if this is really her end? Is this… how she’ll die? But why? She thought, unnoticeably feeling her eyes welling up with tears, there’s still more that she wanted to do with her friends… her very best friends. Slowly she felt her eyes getting heavy, the minotaur became a blur, though blurry she could almost see it shift its weight, pulling left arm back and clenched its fist tightly.
Suddenly it’s grip was oddly released before seeing a streak of lightning passing her in the corner of her eye:
A streak of a green blur.
In the blink of an eye something went past her—at the same time, the minotaur’s grip was released then came a loud crash after. Twilight fell to the ground gasping, taking in a huge breath of air. She panted heavily as she tried to relax and calm her rapid beating heart. Slowly she ventured her eyes open, then gasped as she found the giant thug lying unconscious with his back on the wall and big shards of concrete on top of him. But that wasn’t what caught the corner of her eye: a bright glowing spark appeared then reappeared in different angles, few were small while increasing largely. She made a slow turn to her right before her eyes widened as she stared up at a mysterious bipedal figure that stood beside her.
No way, she thought, nearly falling over in shock. Is that… a human?! No! Something’s different about this one, they’re not like the ones she’d seen at canterlot high. So who is he? And where did he come from? Her mind was reeling with questions; she’ll have to save them for later.
As she glanced up at the mysterious figure, she studied their appearance from top to bottom. He was very short, his round face framed by a short mess of fluffy dark green hair which sticks up at odd angles around his head, casting noticeably dark shadows onto itself. His eyes were large and somewhat circular, their irises the same green color as his hair, and were stretched vast. He had a set of four symmetrical freckles in diamond formations, one on each cheek.
His costume was sturdier—more combat-ready in appearance by Twilight’s description; he had what looked like iron soles to his red boots, and had white gloves with smooth green palms. Added with marigold sights attached to each hill of the knuckles, while also featuring a dual-layered band around both wrists decorated with a blue seam. He wore tinted beige arm braces, decorated with blue stripes, and his knee pads had yellow bolts fastened into them. The knee pads extended to his legs reaching up to his thighs, he wore what looked to be a metal respirator, diamond-shaped, and had eight holes. She also noticed a mask hanging behind the nape of his suit.
Immediately Twilight watched as the young man’s eyes narrowed with determination, the leather squeaked as he bawled both his hands to a fist, before her and those around heard what sounded like a deep humming grinding engine; and at every second it got louder and louder. His face illuminated as crimson glowing veins appeared from all parts of his body, dancing their way towards his head. When they disappeared, his figure was coated by sparks of emerald lightning. Bursting with speed he charges towards the Minotaur boss, but before the boss could come in with a charge of his own the young man vanished! He was stunned, not just him but Twilight and Spike as well, he moved like a blur in their eyes. The Minotaur’s eyes darted from all sides when a large streak of green energy passed him. He turned from here and there trying to keep up, but his speed increased so much that it began to go around him in a spiraling tornado-like circle.
Suddenly, there was a pause as the boy re-appeared before him, as his head snapped below, right before he felt the wind knock out of him when the human gutted him with his fist, sending him down on his knees. He winced in pain as his skin under the fur burned and his chest ached. He wrapped both his arms around his chest tightly in hopes to ease the pain away.
He groaned in pain, feeling a welt beginning to form on his chest, as he groggily glanced up at the human. His eyes widened as he saw the human jump three feet off the ground, arched his back while pulling his leg up straightening it out bringing his foot straight home to his jaw. Up in the air the minotaur found himself facing the clear sky, he blinked out of shock, his mind in a dazed state unable to process the situation he was in or the burning pain from his jawline.
What was that, he thought, what kind of magic… no! That’s not magic—that can’t be magic! That power is out of this world, something he had never faced before. Madness, who is he… what is he?!
Within seconds a green strand of energy went past him bringing him out of his thoughts and back to reality. His pupils shrank immediately as he gazed up at his attacker above him, arching his right leg back then shouted an odd name to his deadly attack.
“St. Louis Smash!”
The boy shouted, swinging his leg, lashing his foot onto the Minotaur boss’s face. He could feel all the weight and power from his foot bore down upon his cheek as it created a shockwave of emerald energy on impact. Instantly he was sent falling down making a direct impact on the earth’s surface, creating a big bowl shaped crater. Twilight and Spike felt the very earth itself shaken by the impact as it bounced and echoed throughout the whole town.
Landing on his feet, he pulls eyes away from the boss and scans around him. He blinked as he found himself surrounded by a huge group of minotaurs glaring down at him for what he did to their boss. Turning away from them it saw through the ring a light brown furred minotaur stalking slowly from behind Spike and Starlight.
The young human instantly slammed into the minotaur farthest from Spike and Starlight. The minotaur spat out his saliva, before the figure stretched his leg out straight, and kicked him in the chest, sending him flying until his body crashed through the main entrance of a small convenience store. Once it was sure he was down it turned away, and jumped to the next minotaur. Like it did to his buddy, the human bowled over the minotaur with a kick to the chest, then stood on its body. Pulling his right arm up while holding his wrist steady, the human stretched all five of its fingers then bent both triggers of his middle and side, pointing it at the chest of another minotaur not too far from him.
With a spring, a massive air bullet explodes from his fingers. Big torpedo shaped air cannons launched forward, pelting the chest of the minotaur to the ground, but the human still wasn't done. It whipped his arm around to blow away another minotaur with a second shot leaving Twilight and Spike more stunned at what they were watching.
Deliberation or through reflex, one managed to throw a firebomb at the human before it set off a big explosion. For a moment, the minotaur goon thought it had worked, until it was struck by a barrage of air bullets to its face. The minotaur fell on its back knockout from the blows of the cannons. All the minotaurs starred in shock as the superhuman leapt out of the flames with no visible injury. Without looking back the human spoke to Twilight, and Spike nearby.
“You two, take your friend and get as far away from here as possible, and don’t come back until it’s safe!” None of them moved as there was a delay in their brains as it tried to process his words. The young man noticed this then said in a near shout.
“Please! It’s dangerous out here, go now!”
“Uh, yeah, right!” Spike yelped.
Spike blinked when he heard a groan beside him. Turning to his left shoulder he looked to find Starlight’s eyelids slightly twitching, slowly opening them halfway.
“Starlight!” He called, relieved that she had regained consciousness, “Come on wake up, we have to get out of here.”
Starlight glanced up at him shaking her head to ease away the throbbing pain. “S. . . Spike? Wha. . . What happened? What’s going on?”
“I’ll explain later right now we have to go.” Spike said, taking her hoof in his claw helping her back on her hooves. Spike and Starlight were about to take off until they noticed Twilight didn’t budge from her spot.
“Twilight come on!” Spike shouted, knocking Twilight out of her dazing state. Getting back on her hooves, Twilight shook her head then rolled her body around running forward to catch up to her friends. Turning to her shoulder, she looked back at the mysterious superhuman who stood before the remaining group of minotaurs, her mind reeling with wonder.
