Mortal Kombat Legends: Fire and Ice

Mayor Mare was in her office working on some paperwork and was doing so until the door to her office opened

The ones who entered were Twilight and the two ninja.

"Princess Twilight! It's a surprise to see you here. What's the matter?"

"Hello Mayor Mare. You don't need to call me princess. But I'm here to buy the house that was recently sold."

"Really Twilight?, you have a castle now." Mayor Mare said confused

"Actually it's not for me exactly, it's for these two. They are new here and me and my friends are busy" Twilight said pointing to Sub-Zero and Scorpion, who acknowledged her with a nod

"These two stallions?" Mayor Mare asked, as Twilight nodded

Mayor Mare gave a look at the two, but nodded and began to do the paperwork. As she did, Sub-Zero asked Twilight

"How exactly do we get these bits?"

"We earn it by doing jobs and I think I know where I can help you two."

Mayor Mare had began to finish the paperwork and said "Done! I just need the names of the two stallions living there."

"Sub-Zero."

"Scorpion."

Mayor Mare nodded and signed the papers and said "Alright. You both now own the home."

The two nodded and Twilight said to Mayor Mare "Thank you."

"We appreciate both your aid." Scorpion said with appreciation.

The two smiled at his compliment and left the office. The three left Mayor Mare's office and Twilight told the two

"Anyways, I think I know where you two can work to earn your keep. Follow me."

Twilight led the two away and they followed her to the area she spoke of. As they followed Twilight, Sub-Zero looked at Scorpion and said deep in thought.

"When the time comes, I will avenge my brother. He deserves to die for Bi-Han's murder. But first, I must raise off any conflict or risk from the young monarch and the civilians."

"If he still wishes to kill me, I don't care, I would rather die and move on then live and suffer an living hell from Quan Chi and Shinnok. I only hope these innocent creatures do not get harmed for it."

The trio were arriving at their destination. The place appeared to look like a farm of some sort and there were trees with apples on them. As soon as they arrived, two ponies were coming out of the farm. One was an orange mare with 3 apples on her flanks with a brown Stetson hat and blonde mane along with a red coated stallion with a blonde mane.

"Howdy Twi! How ya doin?" The mare asked Twilight

"Hey Applejack and Big Mac. I actually came here about the job offerings you guys were talking about yesterday."

"Yeah?" Applejack said with a raised eyebrow.

"These two stallions that stopped the fire want to take the job offering to pay for their home." Twilight said

"Really? You sure Twilight?" Applejack said

"Yes we do. We need to do this as a form of employment. Even though I am not from here, We both must earn our keep someway." Sub-Zero said

Applejack only gave a look at the two stallions and pondered the word of the cryomancer stallion. As she looked at them from up and down, she sighed a breath and said

"Well I guess more help isn't bad. Come on. Ah'll show you both what ya'll both need to do."

The two warriors followed the farm mare to the trees that had apples on the leaves. She then pointed at the trees with her hooves and said

"What ya need to do is get all the apples in those trees into the baskets. A quick way to do it is like this."

Applejack went to one tree and reared her back hooves. With a quick stretch back, she hit the tree and the apples fell into the basket under the tree.

The two ninja looked at her and gave nod with confirmation as Applejack said with a smile

"Now you two try."

They both zoomed at the trees with efficient speed and knocked the apples into the baskets with increased ferocity and agility. Sub-Zero ran quickly at his targets and roundhouse kicked the trees while Scorpion sped his way from tree to tree in a fiery rush and kicked or uppercutted the trees with incredible strength and speed.

Applejack and Twilight gave looks of surprise at the two stallions and their skill.

"Whoa! Look at them go." Twilight said in surprise

"Twi I'm sure they're using magic since they're unicorns." Applejack brought up

"Yes, but their magic is being overused and their not stopping!" Twilight said

After a few minutes, the two finished and went over carrying the baskets in their hooves and backs. Applejack and Twilight only gave looks of surprise at two rivals as they got the baskets over to Applejack's cart.

"That should do it." Sub-Zero said

"How did you two do that?!" Twilight said in surprise

"We train alot." Scorpion replied

"But what about your magic?" Twilight asked

"What?" Sub-Zero asked

"You both are unicorns, you must have been exhausted by the magic you both used ." Twilight further clarified

The two only shaked their heads at the two at their statement. This left the two mares in surprise until Applejack said

"Well you both did a fine mighty job here. Ah can say you both are hired!"

The two only gave a bow of their heads with respect to the two.

"Now come on you two. Mah family and I are preparin some food to eat. " Applejack said with a smile

The two followed Applejack into the barn, where they saw an tall red stallion with a blonde mane and tail along with a yellow filly with a red mane and tail and a bow on her head. On a rocking chair was an elderly green coat mare.

"Hey there Applejack!....who are they?" The elderly mare said, before she noticed the two stallions.

"These two are gonna be the help on the farm for Sweet Apple Acres." Applejack said

"Really?" The red stallion said

The two rivals nodded and only bowed as a form of respect. Applejack and the filly put the food on the table and readied the dishes.

"Soups on Everypony!" Applejack said.

The two ninja only looked at the food amd nodded with acknowledgement. Scorpion sat next to the filly and stallion while Sub-Zero sat near Applejack and the elderly mare.

"So...Who are you two?" The filly asked

"I am Sub-Zero, little one."

"Scorpion."

"Mah name's Apple Bloom. The stallion over there is Big Macintosh."

The red stallion gave a nod to the two and said "Eeyup."

Sub-Zero put his blue front hooves on his mask and removed it slowly, revealing his young bearded face and the scar over his eye. Scorpion on the other hand simply pulled a piece of his mask to show his skull like lips to eat the food he had.

The Apples looked at the two stallions with awe at their faces, mostly due to Kuai Liang's scars and Scorpion's demon like appearance.

"Soooo, What are you both doing here?" Apple Bloom asked

The two rivals looked at each other and looked at the Apples, giving looks of confusion themselves.

"I myself do not know Apple Bloom. All I remember was me and Scorpion woke up near the forest that is near your home." Sub-Zero replied

"Wait, if you were in the forest, how did you manage to get here?" Applejack asked

"We had arrived because of an unknown portal in our home, we do not know who or how we managed to get here aside from that." Scorpion replied

This left the family surprised at the answer as they simply continued eating without another word.

(A few hours later)

The two had finished their work for the day and went to the home they had bought, they had 2 medium sized bags with bits in them in their pockets. As they approached, a few ponies noticed them entering. The house looked a bit small and had 2 windows at the top and 2 at the bottom

Sub-Zero opened the door with the house keys he got and saw the inside.

The house had looked medium sized and there was a living room, with a kitchen at the left with a stove and some cupboards and two flight's of stairs, one going up and the other down.

"Looks like we have a new home." Scorpion said

"For now." Sub-Zero added

The two began to explore the house a bit and saw what other necessities it had.

(Outside Ponyville)

An mysterious figure looked around the Everfree forest and said in a dark, brooding tone.

"Where am I? How did I get here?"

The figure only looked around before disappearing in a dark shadow like teleportation, leaving some small darkness behind.
