Mortal Kombat Legends: Fire and Ice

The two rivals were trotting down the pathway, ignoring the looks they were being given by the other ponies.

"I wonder where we are?" Scorpion said

"And if this place is either a part of Earthrealm or of Outworld." Sub-Zero added

As they trotted, Scorpion bumped into a nearby mare. He looked and saw she was a yellow pegasus with 3 pink butterflies on her flank.

"Oh! Um sorry mister." The pegasus said meekly

"It is alright, I did not see you. Are you ok?" Scorpion said to the mare

Fluttershy gave a look at the Hellspecter. His eyes were pure white with a fiery spirit of vengeance. She gave a look at him and slightly blushed at his well trained body and muscular hooves until she regained her composure.

"Um....yes, I'm ok, thank you for asking Mister....?." Fluttershy said

"Scorpion, and it's fine Miss....?" Scorpion replied

"Fluttershy."

Scorpion only gave a look at the pegasus, until Sub-Zero asked

"If I may ask, Do you know what this village is called?"

"This is Ponyville." Fluttershy replied

The name of the village left the two confused as Scorpion asked

"And where is this Ponyville's realm at?"

Fluttershy was confused when he said the word realm and said in an honest tone

"Well...The place your in right now is Ponyville, which is a part of the planet Equis."

This left the two confused at her claim, when Sub-Zero asked

"Equis?"

Fluttershy nodded, leaving the two more confused. They decided to keep investigating more of the village and look for answers.

"Thank you for your help." Scorpion said with acknowledgement

Fluttershy nodded and went her way. The two stallions only looked around at the citizens and the village.

"I'm guessing that means we are not in Outworld OR in Earthrealm." Sub-Zero theorized.

"Which only leaves one question, how will we be able to return to our realm?" Scorpion further questioned.

As they walked, they heard a loud cry

"HELP!"

This alarmed the two as they saw an house on fire and a filly was trapped inside.

"Somepony please help! My daughter is in there!" An grey pegasus with an blonde mane and crossed eyes said in worry.

With no hesitation, the two ninja rushed to the scene.

"I'll remove the flames, you get the child to safety!" Scorpion said to Sub-Zero

The cryomancer nodded and Scorpion used his pyromancy to remove the flames. His horn and hooves brightly glowed yellow and absorbed the flames and unblocked the entrance, allowing Sub-Zero to enter the house.

Sub-Zero entered and saw the filly was hiding under a table to avoid the flames. With a quick use of his ice powers. His hooves and horn glowed a chill blue and he froze the flames away and saw the filly hiding.

"Hurry! Grab onto me!" Sub-Zero said to the child

The filly quickly showed herself to have a horn and blonde mane with a light purple coat. She held onto the Lin Kuei who dashed out the house with a quick jump from through a broken window.

"Dinky!" The pegasus said in relief

"MOMMY!" The little filly said and rushed to her mom in a big hug.

The two ninja looked at the scene and gave a look of relief at the child being reunited with her mother. As the two were walking away, the pegasus called to them.

"Hey wait!"

The two turned and saw the mare and her daughter head over to the two along with some of the residents. They gave looks of interest and gratefulness to the two ninja that saved the filly.

"Thank you both so much for saving my little muffin."

"It is alright ma'me, we only did what was right. We hope your daughter is ok."

The little filly only went over to the two and gave a happy smile at her two saviors.

"You two are cool! Him with his fire magic and him with his ice magic. You both are like superheroes!."

The two gave a look of acknowledgement as Sub-Zero said to the filly

"Your compliment is appreciated little one."

"Thank you, are you ok?" Scorpion asked the filly

The little filly nodded and said "I am now Mr...?"

"Scorpion."

"Sub-Zero."

"Thank you...Oh sorry my name is Dinky."

The two nodded and were about to leave, until another voice had alarmed them

"Alright everypony! What's going on?!"

The voice had belonged to an mare that had a purple coat and dark purple mane. She also had a horn like the two ninja but she also had a set of wings as well. Along with her were another 5 mares that had arrived to contain the situation, one mare both ninja recognized as Pinkie Pie, but not the others.

"Princess Twilight!"

The ponies gave looks of respect and some had bowed to her as Sub-Zero and Scorpion looked and gave looks of surprise and shock

"Princess?" The two rivals said in sync and confusion.

"We heard a commotion about a fire and came to help." The purple alicorn said

"And we came to see if everypony's ok." The white mare said

"We're all ok Princess, and it's all thanks to those two stallions." Derpy said pointing at Sub-Zero and Scorpion. But then the blue mare said with a look of confusion

"Derpy, nopony is there."

"Huh? Where did they go?" She turned and saw they were indeed gone.

"Hey look!" An colt said pointing to the leaving duo.

The girls looked at the two and saw that they were merely leaving the scene as Dinky called to them

"Hey guys! Wait!"

The two refused to listen and continued to leave, until the crowd and the girls stopped them.

"Where are you going?" Dinky asked

"We helped and saved you. There is no reason for us to stay and watch." Scorpion said

"And we have business of our own to attend, so we shall be on our way." Sub-Zero added

They attempted to leave, but the girls, Derpy and Dinky blocked their path.

"But that doesn't mean you should leave." Derpy said

"Yeah! Plus I never got to throw you two a party yet!" Pinkie said

"Look we assure you we-" Scorpion said, until Pinkie said

"PWEEEEEEASE?"

Pinkie had an adorable puppy eye face and this made the two give unseen looks as they were wearing masks. After they looked at each other, Sub-Zero and Scorpion said

"Fine/Very Well."

"YAY!" Pinkie said and zoomed to nowhere. The two looked at the other ponies with confusion

"Don't question it." Twilight said, knowing they might be confused

The two nodded and Sub-Zero asked

"So, where will we stay?"

"You two don't a place to stay?" Derpy asked and they nodded in response

"Wait, there is another house here that's for sale, I can show you where the mayor is to purchase it. But you'll need lots of bits." Twilight said

"Bits?" Scorpion asked

"It's basically our currency." Dinky pointed out

The two followed Twilight to the mayor's home, as the ponies began to do their routines.
