Fallout Equestria-Fallen Prince

Maraston: 3 hours till Balefire Armageddon.

Operation Balefire was a success, we had some complications but most were minor. Except one, One of the newly selected nobles tried to perform a coup. Only to find out, My head can resist low-caliber bullets. Oh, the look on his face when he noticed I wasn't bleeding was priceless. Hah man, I just wish I had a camera for that!! Oh, I didn't mention we threw him into the dungeon. Fun no? Still, I'm not a pony, somepony wants to mess with. Also, my Nano-tech armor got a minor upgrade also. I intergraded a Magic shield around my armor to help slow down .308 and 50. cal rounds. It doesn't work all the time but it will be a lifesaver.

Waking up with 3 mares in my bed,'That's right three I kinda maybe courted Both Metal wing, and Zextra. I didn't mean to just sorta happened.' I shake my head. "Hey, Mares wake up its morning, and it's that day!" All three groan unhappily, of course, they don't wanna wake up on their most important day. When does any girl wanna go out to eat? I just roll my eyes, "Wake up Loves, we have ponies to please and then date later tonight." That's when I get a loud answer from Golden Skies.

"But midnight it's Thursday, We requested no public court!!" I just blink and look at my calendar, 'oh the date is tomorrow'. Oops, I forget stuff so easily when things seem to be repetitive, I snort loudly. Then I look at my clock. When the doors burst open.

I instantly knew something was wrong, One The ponies don't bother us during our sleep unless an emergency. Two This pony had armor on that was covered in bullet holes. Oh fuck she's bleeding, Then I notice who she is General Lucky Star. " STAR!!" I launch off the bed and land by her side, " WHAT HAPPENED!?!"

"Prince I am glad you are alright, we have a code red!!" Oh, shit code red, Enemy forced invaded the castle, intent on murdering the prince and all high officials.

"Activate Operation Balefire, I don't want a single official without an armed escort. If one pony dies we will have to struggle to recover!!" Now time for some fun, I walk over to my lever and which causes the wall to open showing all my weapons and a Metal ring, and I put on the ring. It slides on my first to with ease. "Armor on", when those words exit my mouth my armor formed over my body but when it covered my head I felt like I got kicked hard. I fall over in shock, I didn't expect my armor to save my life so quickly!

I felt the air rush as I heard metal scratching metal, and looked up just to see Metal wing cleave the armored ponies' head from his neck. Her blood-soaked metal wings glisten in the light. "I'm alright lucky me, heh I would have died just then." That's when all four of them look at me in disgust only, but only Lucky star speaks up.

" YOU SHOULDN'T TALK LIKE THAT, EVEN IF IT IS JUST A JOKE. WHAT WOULD WE DO WITH YOU DEAD HUH!?! I'LL TELL YOU OUR NATION WOULD CRUMBLE NOW THAT YOU ARE BACK!!" My ears pin back, dammit they are right.

"I'm sorry, I just don't wanna seem weak when ponies need me. I just hope we can finish this-" I didn't get to finish my sentence when I heard a sound I only wish I would never have to hear. A raid siren, my blood runs cold. No, they wouldn't!! WHY WOULD THEY MEGA-SPELL A SMALL NATION!! WE WEREN'T EVEN IN THE WAR!! ALL WE EVER DID WAS PROTECT OUR HOME, HELL I NEVER ORDERED A FORWARD MARCH.

" no No NO!!, It's over DECLARE OPERATION BALEFIRE CODE BLACK!!" Lucky star turns pale but nods, I just hope we have enough time

" YES SIR!!" I turn to Metal wing, Zextra, and Golden skies.

" We have to get to the bunker! Now!!" The 3 girls nod. I won't let a single one die! I Grab my AR120, my ponychester repeater, 50. cal fanned revolver, and my 9mm suppressed pistol. No time to screw around. Sadly Non of the girls had any weapons, It's not like they didn't want any. We are just low on available firearms. You see we don't have craft-ponies near here with enough skill to craft military class firearms.

Huh, I get sidetracked easily, Anyway, we need to get to the bunker safely. We start to gallop to the stairs 30 feet away and run down 4 flights of stairs. Then I hear it screaming and gunfire. I look around the corner to see 4 ponies bloody on the ground with small holes in their heads, The 2 ponies standing over them, are all unicorns. Nobles, carrying scrap weapons easily a minor annoyance. Likely shooting .38 calibers rounds. My eyes burn behind my helmet.

I pull out my mothers' duel swords, And I launch forward silently. My swords 'swoosh' and slice through the noble's weak armor. The Nobles let out a blood-filled gurgle. Keep moving Midnight. We reach the bottom floor in seconds. Then I see all my ponies dead on the floor. Guards all dead, Most of my Midnight order beside Lucky star dead. A small part of mind chuckles, 'wow she really is lucky aye!' I beat that part up and throw it in the trash, Asshole no respect. I pull out my AR120 and equip my suppressor, inside my magic levitation.

" Did you hear something?" I hear from around the corner, slowly I press my back to the wall and pull out my pistol and dual wield my pistol and AR120.

"Nah I'm pretty sure everyone inside the castle is empty. You heard the CEO from Four-Stars, I would repeat but I think you get the idea."

Four-Stars that stupid company, I knew they were bad when I heard their name! A Story from Nightmare moon the Four stars will aid in her escape. I jump from around the corner much to the surprise of the Nobles.

" Prince you should be dead we sent-" His sentence was cut off with a soft -Pfft-. As his head was cracked open as blood was splattered on the wall behind him, joined with all the blood of my ponies he killed. I thought it was a fitting end, but his friend didn't.

My pistol swirls around just after I hear a gunshot that was joined with a sharp pain in my chest. I pull my pistol trigger twice, Pfft...Pfft. His skull was shattered as chunks flew in different directions. I was not a happy hybrid.

I use my magic to turn my dead ponies bodied to ash. That was their final loss, I just hope they find peace in eternity. We continue our travel the castle was unusually quiet. It is never this quiet, it's either busy with guards or ponies. Now though it's almost silent. Then the Raid sirens get cut off. No that means balefire bombs hit!! We all look at each other and nod, The group started to move fast as possible to the bunker location. If we get there the turrets will protect us while we get inside.

Then we make it just in time to hear ponies rushing to our location, "Let's get inside I'll cover you just set the doors to close and lock them!" They nod as we get into our positions. I brace my body for the Hail of Bullets.

The first ponies to make it to the lobby only to not be the traitors? That's when I knew something was wrong they didn't say 'Sir Midnight' or 'Prince' just silent. Then their Disguises disappear to show changelings. I whistle behind my armor, Not the first time I have seen changelings, and I kinda like them. Unlike my Aunt and Cadence, I didn't have a negative experience with changelings. Truth is one of my best friends was a changeling.

"So question enemy or ally?" They look between each other and shrug, I toke that as an ally since they didn't attack. "Get inside now we are under attack by both traitors and the balefire mega-spells. I Support changelings I'm not the kinda pony who is scared by what I can't understand." The changelings look at me in surprise and nod. Good, I'm happy we came to an understanding. I don't want any misunderstandings, I just hope these are allies and not enemies.

" Who is it, Love!? I don't hear any gunshots" I look back to see Zextra standing at the terminal tapping at the keys, Metal wing checking the supply depot, And Golden Sky looking at me, that's when she notices the changelings. I look around for Lucky star. "Hey, where is Lucky star?"

"Over here", I look at where the voice came from, to see a changeling. She looked scared of my reaction, I just smile. This reaction confuses the shit out of her. I just chuckle slightly. "So half of my staff were changelings, Hah! I just wished I knew earlier I would have used your talents for infiltration and assassinations sooner. I'm not mad or scared of ya'll just Fyi." This relaxed the Changelings, "Oh by the way where is your hive? I would hate for your queen to die." Then I remember the young, "The nymph, we have to get them inside the bunker!!"

"There is no need for that" I do a one 180 to see the queen face to face with me, she has to lean down to reach my height. I stumble back startled, "We already placed the Eggs in some Hibernation chambers, but the nymphs. We don't have current locations for their safe keeping" I nod, we didn't expect extra numbers when we built the Cryo-stasis wing.

"I'm sorry I didn't suspect a changeling hive near my castle let alone my country. After all, we are 300 miles from the badlands."

"True that but after what my few sisters witnessed That wretched 'queen' Chrysalis did to those innocent ponies we split off, and hid in the mountains inside a deep cave. The very cave you connected your bunker into" My helmet retracts as my jaw drops. Oh no, you're telling me we connected to a Changeling hive no wonder they're so numerous here, I just wished I knew. I could have expanded the bunker to meet the requirements for the changeling hive.

"It was our fault, Sir Prince, We were hesitant to communicate with you or any other ponies. After what that evil Queen did we knew ponies would fear us and beg for our extermination."

"Well one of my friends was a changeling, So I'm not the kinda pony to suspect the worse. Now get inside the bunker all of you and shut the doors." They all nod and walk into the bunker.

'BEEP BEEEP BEEP DOORS CLOSING OPERATION BALEFIRE IN AFFECT!!'

"GET INSIDE NOW!!" I jump through the closing door and use my magic to grab every changeling I can. I failed to grab one though, The Queen. The door shuts in our faces and is locked in place, DAMMIT NO!! "FUCK WHY DID I FORGET TO GRAB HER!! I'M SUPPOSED TO GET EVERYONE OUT OF THIS ALIVE!!" I try to open the doors only for Lucky star to stop me

"It's okay sir she can enter through the cave entry-" 'KABOOM' The screens show green fire from the center of the city, I then hear the screaming of our Geiger counters, and I know the queen just died, 30,000 rads per second that are past lethal levels. Just instant death, We can't even open the doors, we can feel the radiation in the room. "GET OUT OF HERE AND SEAL THE RADIATION SHIELDING DOORS!!" Most ponies and changelings rush to the radiation shielding doors, except Lucky star.

"YOU ARE COMING WITH ME LUCKY STAR!!!" I grab her tail and drag her through the radiation shielding. ' I'm not leaving anyone, not again!!' I shut and lock the radiation shielding door. "Get everyone inside the Stasis-pods we must revive ourselves in 180 years. that should be sufficient time for the radiation to die away and to be able to reclaim our castle." Everyone nods except Lucky star, I just look at her and hug her. " I'm sorry you lost her, but you have to live for her." she looks half broken. I won't let her break I need everyone.

I put her on my back, and carry her to the stasis pods, most already filled beside 20 pods just barely enough. Sadly this location has only 50 ponies. Yes only 50 ponies, I slowly place Lucky star into the Stasis-pod. "Don't worry when you wake up I promise it will be in a better time. I never break my promises, And if it isn't better." My eyes glow with power, "I'll make it better for you and everyone here." I then close the hatch to the Stasis pod and hear the pod get filled with the stasis liquid. "Goodnight."

It had been 190 Years, 4 months, 9 hours, and 42 minutes since the bombs fallen all systems are on backup Only awake pony is Prince Midnight sky he hasn't even entered stasis in all those years. He is still trying to detect any signs of habitation on the surface but His sensors of the surface are destroyed all but one. The camera to the entrance of the Bunker, And all it shows is grey skies with a faint green hue. Whatever was used as a bomb wasn't pure balefire it had to have something special. Possibly a new form of mega-spell because that green hue is toxic and highly dangerous. He tried to enter the Decontamination room only to feel like his entire body was on fire, so he left.

' Prince's Log #3025: I think I found What those damn Zebras put into their mega-spells. Chaos magic, BLOODY CHAOS MAGIC. They enchanted their balefire bomb WITH CHAOS MAGIC. I hope that I can find a fix for it, I don't know how they got Chaos magic but they did!! Only discord Could Use Chaos magic I believe, so Only discord could give it. Discord was still stone though.

' Prince's Log #3120: So it had been 2 weeks, since my last true update and not just senseless rambling. I have detected a way to purify chaos magic inside a subject it will take me few weeks to know for sure.

' Princes Log #3121: It has been 4 Fucking YEARS since my last report I had issues with the Cleansing potion. Then I had to mass-produce around 120 potions for chemical replication. That's when I noticed a major problem, the bunker is being drained of power. I don't know by what or who, but our power levels are reaching critical levels so I activated the main reactors to recharge the batteries. Later I have to open a few stasis-pods, I can't stay alone any longer. I'm starting to hear voices, but that's not the scary part I'm hallucinating. I've been alone longer than ponies can stay alive. So how come I'm not completely insane!? I keep remembering my 3 mares and those promises. I always keep my promises!!

' Princes Log #3122: I guess it's time I can't handle being alone any longer!! I HAVE BEEN ALONE FOR 200 YEARS SINCE THE BOMBS FALLEN!! The good news though heh I finally, Finally, found a cure for chaos exposure. I just hope my pain and suffering actually mean something. I want my life to be successful. The good news about me though is, heh, I just a look a couple of years older than I did. I'm probably around 20 years old or so physically, So yeah my aging process is still slowed. I thought what my mother and aunt did to me was permanent. I just hoped it wouldn't...

Prince Midnight Sky P.O.V.

I just stare at my terminal, my last log. I look at my paws. I have to wake Golden Sky, Metal wing, and Zextra. I need to cry, I haven't felt emotions in 200 years, and now they are rushing back to me in force. I felt like shit, I lived for 200 years in a hell hole all alone. No pony to talk to, my thoughts screaming in my head. I just wished I could have awakened everyone sooner. I look back at my terminal screen the words 'Activate code green' I stare at those words. It's time Midnight, time to wake everypony and fix the world. I look at the camera of Mannalus. We can't stay here while we prepare to fix this destroyed shattered world I look at my new pip-buck I check the map feature and I see all the undiscovered location tags of our 10 secret underground bunkers, and then the 2 separate underground hangars. We have to find all these locations to get all the ponies required to pilot these raptors.

I stare at my terminal and sigh. I push the Enter key of my terminal.

WARNING CODE GREEN IN EFFECT ALL PODS ARE REVIVING PATIENTS. NO SIGNS OF SYSTEM FAILURE IN ANY POD. PONIES BE WARNED WE HAVE CHANGELING INFILTRATORS!! KILL PATIENTS Y/N?

'I tap N obviously. Cant kill my new friends... Friends, I guess they are friends.' I smile, and I felt happy.. happy? I haven't felt that in a long time.

ALL SYSTEMS ONLINE OUTSIDE CONTAMINANT LEVELS REACH ABNORMAL RATES. DO YOU STILL WISH TO REVIVE ALL PATIENTS Y/N?

CONFIRMED REVIVING ALL PATIENTS!!

I hear the sound of liquids being flushed away and pods hissing open. That's when I hear the groans of displeasure, none are dead I hope!! I trot out of my control room. Then I see some pods failed at activating. The pods didn't kill the ponies for say just they didn't get the message to release the occupants. The only ponies I see awake are the Lucky star, Metal wing, Zextra, and Golden star.

"Your all alive!! I'm so happy!" I start crying, I'm not alone anymore. I feel their cold wet bodies on my warm fur. "I was so lonely!!"

"You know love you could have woken one of us up every now and then." I look at Zextra and curse internally. Why didn't I do that!?

"I'm an idiot." I face-paw hard.

"Yes you are love, yes you are." I can't help but laugh and cry.
