A very aged pony retells parts of his life, from his days as a colt onward as a series of journal entries. He lives in modern day Equestria, but almost all of the events occur long before the Mane 6 were born. I try to stay cannon as much as possible, but the story will sync back up near the end. He's a scientist and his entries reflect the use of that particular lens in viewing reality.

Note: The protagonist was, at one time, an OC pony at tumblr (whathathponywrought). Unfortunately, life happened and the account started gathering dust. Lots of dust.
