An alarm clock inside a somewhat small apartment had began to beep and sound as a hand had then hit the off button, a teen boy with green hair woke up with a yawn.
"Well, another day another time of hell." The teen said with a frown
He began to get ready and did his routine of getting up and washing up. He then went to his closet and began to put on a purple shirt and green and black pants. As he did, he pulled off his sleeping outfit and his chest showed scars on his back. He stretched and maintained his muscles.
He packed his food and school supplies in his bag and got ready to head out. He opened the door, got out and closed it and finally locked it before heading out the apartment building.
The boy walked his way to school and it took awhile, but he managed to get there in time by some shortcuts he knew of and saw the entrance.
"Canterlot High, the magical place where everypony has the chance to make friends and show their magic. "
The teen had entered the school and there were numbers of students that were around talking to each other. The green haired teen walked the halls and went his way to first period. As he did, he ignored the looks and whispers he would get from the other students.
"Look its the no magic runt."
"Why is he still attending here?"
"I'm amazed he's even allowed to enter at all."
"That filthy little nothing should rot in the ground."
The boy only gave a look of annoyance as he headed to his class. Until he was shoved into the ground. The boy looked up and saw a blue haired boy with peach like skin along with 2 others.
"Outta the way freak."
"Hello to you too Flash." The boy said to the assailant
"Shut it you little runt, you should be honored your even talking to me at all." Flash said condescendingly
Flash and his 2 cronies left as Spike was getting back his stuff in his arms and bag, as Spike got up, he began to make his way to his next class. As he did, some teachers gave him disapproving looks or disgusted eyes.
(In class )
Spike was in class and as he sat down at his desk, he heard a student say
"The Rainbooms are here!"
Spike turned and saw the group in question come in the classroom.
The girls were each anthropomorphic ponies who had curvy racks and rumps in bright and colorful outfits. They were accompanied by another girl with a a hat and purple hair with blue lining.
"These girls are known as the Rainbooms. They are REALLY famous here at school for doing a lot of good things. This is because these 6 girls are the wielders of the Elements of Harmony. The girl with the pink poofy hair is Pinkie Pie, she always throws parties for new students but when Twilight and I came, she never exactly invited me to her parties, only Twilight. Her Element is Laughter."
"The girl with the blond hair and hat is Applejack, her family owns Sweet Apple Acres and she has a little sister named Apple Bloom and big brother called Big Macintosh. While I am friends with Bug Macintosh, Apple Bloom and her never talk to me, but she doesn't treat me nicely anyway, alot of guys like her because her butt is big in those jeans they say. She is really strong and has a lot of muscle. She is the Element of Honesty"
"The girl with the rainbow hair and wings is Rainbow Dash. She's the captain of each sports team of CHS. And she's a really fast flyer, she even intends to join the Wonderbolts team if I'm not mistaken. She always called me weak and lame alot and attacks me and insults me, but I always ignored her. Her Element is Loyalty."
"The next girl with the pink hair and yellow wings is named Fluttershy. ALOT of guysvare crushing on her because of her rack. Not only that, but she works at the Canterlot Animal Shelter. She never liked me because I'm a dragon, but I never wished to harm her. She treated me like dirt over it but I don't hold it over her. She is the Element of Kindness. "
"The girl with the radiating beauty is named Rarity. She's the owner of the Carousel Boutique in Canterlot City. Every guy has a crush on her and believe me, I did too and I did everything I could for her to notice me. But she only rejected me. I only wish her a happy life. She is the wielder of Generosity."
"The sixth girl with the dark purple hair is my former friend Twilight Sparkle. She is respected highly for her magic ability and her noble deeds. Yet, when we first came here, she ignored me and pretended I didn't exist when she earned her title. I wanted to help in anyway I could, yet she ignored me. I decided to not bother anymore. Oh, by the way, her Element is Magic. And that girl with the hat is named Starlight Glimmer, her protegee."
"The last one of the Rainbooms is Sunset Shimmer. I don't remember he Element, but I know she was once a bully here but the girls reformed her. However, she treats me as worst and even used me as target practice and harassed me by telling me to kill myself, I am still angry at her. So I ignore her. "
As the Rainbooms were praised, class began as the bell rang. They went to sit in desks near each other.
As the class went through, Spike only focused on his work, ignoring the students that looked at him with contempt, with some of the Rainbooms doing so as well.
(After School)
Spike was leaving the building and as he did, he only had a blank look on his face. As he left, a voice was heard.
"Hey filth, time for your beating!"
Spike turned and saw it was Flash, Soarin and Cheese Sandwich. Spike ran as quickly as he could with the bullies in pursuit. He tried turning to alleys, but they kept finding him. He reached a nearby building that had a door saying Self-defense. But Cheese tripped him.
"Gotcha now you little worm!" Flash said mockingly
As soon as he tripped Spike, Soarin and Cheese began to continue hurting him. As soon as they were done, Flash was about kick him, until a hand caught his foot.
The creature was in blue armor and had a blue mask and black headband and icy blue eyes. The masked figure also had dragon ears and wings and said while holding Flash's leg in a painful grip.
"Go home."
He proceeded to help Spike. This angered the 3 bullies, Flash's anger grew more and he tried to punch the man....who EASILY caught his hand.

Spike watched as the man fended off the boys single-handedly, even when they had used magic or their wings. He easily outmanuvered or countered them. From Flash and Soarin using their pegasus wings to Cheese using his earth pony strength, the man easily defeated them and even used their limbs as weapons, such as grabbing Cheese's hand and making him slap Flash or grabbing Soarin's wing and using it to throw him at the two like he was a bag of potatos.
Soarin rushed the man, whi easily tripped him and was about to punch him, but seeing his nosebleed, he simply put his raised fist down and shoved him into Cheese, who was slowly getting up. Flash tried to strike behind, but the masked man grabbed him and threw him into a wall and then a trash bin.
The bullies were pain as the man helped Spike and said again, this time firmer to the 3 downed stallion teens.
"GO HOME. "
The 3 stallions only groaned in pain as Spike gave a smile and said "Thank you sir."
"Come with me young one, your leg is hurt." The blue armored man said
He helped Spike and the two left the area. This was the start of Spike's journey as a true hero.

Spike was continuing his training with Sub-Zero, who taught him how to ease his mind and was able to teach him about cryomancy. As Spike progressed, he slowly began to gain a newfound determination in his mind and life and felt his heart reignited with strength.
"You have done well young Spike, but you must continue to your last lessons." Sub-Zero said
"Of course, Grandmaster." Spike said with a bow of respect.
Sub-Zero led Spike through the temple and this time it was outside with a large ring like portal.
"Follow me young one, your next test awaits." Sub-Zero said
The two entered it and they were in a garden like area with flaming sparks around.
Spike gave a look of awe and said "Whoa, where are we?"
"These are the Fire Gardens. Home of the Shirai Ryu clan that feud with my clan, the Lin Kuei. The Grandmaster here will teach you to master your dragon side."
"What about you?" Spike asked.
"I will wait for you at my home, as I cannot teach you fire-related abilities. But the Shirai Ryu Grandmaster can teach you." Sub-Zero said and left to the portal.
Spike was left wondering as to what to do, he continued walking through the gardens. As he did, a voice spoke behind him.
"Who are you? What are you doing in the Fire Gardens?"
Spike turned and saw a masked man with yellow and black armor and a yellow mask. He had yellow dragon ears and brown eyes that looked as if they had fiery vengeance. Spike only said
"I'm here because Grandmaster Sub-Zero told me to train with the Grandmaster here."
"Ah yes, the dragon warrior Sub-Zero mentioned."
"You know him?" Spike asked
"Yes, I am Scorpion, Grandmaster of the Shirai Ryu clan. Come with me." Scorpion said
Spike complied and followed the Grandmaster to his clan temple.
(Back in Canterlot High)
The news of the dual had reached the students and as a result, it spread like wildfire and the girls and boys began to root for him confidently.
The PA system had spoken and the voice of Principal Celestia was heard.
"Good morning students of CHS. As you know this coming Friday is a dual between CHS and Crystal Prep of Champions. Due to our Champion's absence, Flash Sentry had volunteered to dual for CHS's honor. Students Soarin and Cheese Sandwich have lost rank and have lost their position in their status with possible expulsion. If things work out, we will award anyone who defends our beloved CHS. Thank you and have a nice day."
At lunch, students had gossiped about it and began to think it would go well. Female students began to fawn on Flash while Male's gave proud looks.
"That Flash Sentry is so dreamy." One girl said
"He's got this in the bag." A male student added
"He's such a hunk, I want a piece of him." Another female student said
"He's got alot of strength then all of us, he's got this." Another male said.
With the Rainbooms, they also spoke of the upcoming dual.
"So, the strong pegasus jock is going to volunteer for the dual? Cool." Rainbow Dash said
"Yeah, I've seen his power and limit. He's trained alot and he should be good." Starlight Glimmer said
"And I've seen him beat my brother Big Macintosh when he trains, this'll be a piece of cake." Applejack said
"CAKE?!?!? WHERE!?!?!?! GIMME GIMMEE GIMME GIMME GIMME GIMME!!!!" Pinkie said, standing up and causing a fuss.
"Pinkie. Applejack meant that Flash is going to win the dual easily, not that there's cake here." Twilight said
"Oh. Okey-Dokey Loki!" Pinkie said sitting back down.
"Ha, easy? Those Crystal Prep jerkweeds are going to wish they know what pain is when MY Flash beats them." Sunset said
"Sunset, No offense, darling. But you both broke up MONTHS ago. Besides, Who isn't to say Flash wouldn't be as interested into girls that are more lady-like then moi?" Rarity said with a smile and pose, her breasts jiggling as she did.
"Enough y'all. You both know Flash is head over heels for Twilight ever since his first year. Plus Twilight was going through alot that time." Applejack said in defense.
"We'll see about that." Twilight and Sunset said to each other, butting heads.
(Back with Spike and Scorpion)
Scorpion was continuing to train Spike. Spike had held bowls with soup on his head arms and knees. As he balanced them, Scorpion attacked with kicks and punches, but Spike dodged, with none of the bowls falling off him.
"Good job dragon warrior. Now for your next lesson."
The Shirai Ryu Grandmaster led Spike outside the temple and used his power to create a burning hot path of coals to a nearby bridge. Spike was initially hesitant, but remembering his training, did so and breathed a heavy breath.
As he walked on the hot coals, Spike began wince pain, but continued. He began to feel calm in his mind, all the years of pain and torment he went through at Canterlot had begun to fade away and be replaced with acceptances and determination. His inner fire became reignited and his willpower had vastly increased.
As soon as crossed the hot coals, Scorpion had went over to him and said
"Very good dragon warrior, your next test will be to use fire like me."
Spike nodded and began to follow Scorpion, who began to train Spike by making him do numerous body stances and movements. As he did so, his hands began to emit fiery like auras. Spike began to feel not just rage at his torment, but an fuel of determination to show the world he may be a dragon, but he is just as powerful as them. As he trained, the fiery aura in Spike's hands began to create more bigger flames, which travelled to his whole body.
"HEEEEEYAAHHHHHH!" Spike shouted as a mixed energy wave of fire and ice engulfed him. After a few seconds, Spike was seen, but he looked different.
Instead of his feeble appearance, he had now gained a stronger body. His chest was ripped, he had bigger and sharper hair, razor sharp dragon fangs, and claws.
"Wow! This is Awesome!" Spike said in surprise and joy.
"Very good young Spike. You have progressed well." Scorpion said
"Thank you, Grandmaster Scorpion." Spike said and bowed respectfully.
Scorpion did the same and the two walked back into the temple.
As they walked, Spike asked "Grandmaster Scorpion?"
"What is it?"
"I've been meaning to ask...Why did you both want me to train with you and Sub-Zero?"
Scorpion, with a reluctant look, replied by revealing his face under his mask. His face was that of a dragon with yellow fiery skin and brown eyes.
"Because young Spike, you lost so much like me and Sub-Zero, we wanted to help you escape such suffering you went through. I thought if we trained you, your hatred and rage wouldn't consume you as it did with us."
Spike only gave a look of remorse and said "Oh....I' m sorry I-"
"It is ok, you didn't know, but you do now." Scorpion said
Spike nodded and the two proceeded back into the temple.
Two days later, Spike had begun his training from stance and balance to sparring and training with the Grandmasters. It had been 1 day left for the dual against Crystal Prep. He was first training with Sub-Zero on the Lin Kuei's temple battle area outside.
As Spike and Sub-Zero traded blows, they both began to get faster and more increased of their speed of attacks. Spike had even tried to uppercut and then back kick Sub-Zero, who managed to dodge and try to roundhouse kick him.
The two warriors had fought, but Spike managed to knock down Sub-Zero. Scorpion then came next.
The two dragons continued to train and as they did, Spike managed to steal one of Scorpion's swords and use it against him. The two dragon warriors began to engage in a sword dual and as they clashed swords, Spike used his newfound cryomancy to knee Scorpion back and jump-kick him to the ground.
"Yield," Spike said, aiming Scorpion's sword at him.
Scorpion, cornered by his student, complied. Spike gave him back his sword and helped up Sub-Zero.
"Well done young Spike." Sub-Zero said
"You have improved greatly Ryu." Scorpion said
"Ryu?" Spike asked.
"As you are the dragon warrior, that is how you are called in my language." Scorpion said
Spike said "Oh. Nice."
As Spike continued to train, he began to show more physical strength and agility. The Grandmasters decided to have a little break. As Spike walked around the temple, he heard something and gave look at a nearby window. He gave a look of surprise at what he saw.
He saw a woman in Lin Kuei attire balancing on a dragon head statue, in front of her was a snake. She was in a stance with her leg up and her arms in the air. She only looked back at the snake and turned from left or right. As she did, the snake followed the woman's movements.
"Whoa." Spike said as the snake copied the woman.
As Spike watched, Sub-Zero and Scorpion noticed and gave looks of amusement at his curiosity.
"She is still like water." Scorpion said
"That is why the snake copies her. Her mind and heart are calm and in balance." Sub-Zero added
Spike only nodded and gave a look of curiosity at the event. After a few seconds, he left to resume his training.
(Back in Canterlot High)
At the school of CHS, the prideful Flash Sentry was training in the school's gym area. As he did, someone came in.
"Who's there?" Flash said hearing the door.
He turned and saw it was none other then the two principals of the school. He saw them give him looks of disapproval.
"Oh come on. Are you two still ticked off about yesterday?" Flash asked annoyed
"Oh no, I wouldn't say annoyed. More like borderline FURIOUS!" Luna said
"Because of you and your arrogance, we will lose not just the dual, but the school itself!" Celestia added in anger.
"Oh relax you two. I told you I'm training to all my strength to help defend our honor." Flash tried to reason.
This statement however, only increased the fury of the two Principal's. Luna only said in a matter-of-fact tone.
"You'll be lucky to even survive against the champions of Crystal Prep. The only reason your not getting expelled is because we don't have other options but to let you fight their Champion. That's why I revoked your rank and status."
"Shouldn't that happen if I lose?" Flash asked.
"No. Because you'll be dead in a body bag if you're lucky Mr. Sentry." Principal Celestia said.
"Wow, thanks, can I go back to training now?" Flash asked
The two principals only gave looks full of resentment and left the gym.
(Back with Spike at the Temple)
Spike was doing progressively good on his training and as he trained, he managed to gain more use on Sub-Zero's cryomancy and Scorpion's fire-based attributes. After a few hours, Spike was sweating in exhaustion from the training he had. Which was from breaking boards to sparring with his masters, balancing objects or on a wire, maintaining his stance while being attacked or being taught more defense to disarm or evade weapon related attacks.
"Well done, young Spike, you have earned your strength and honor, but you now must train in weapons." Sub-Zero said
Spike was led to another room in the temple and saw an armory that had different melee weapons. There were two weapons that caught his eye. One was a nearby stick and went to it. Spike saw a little edge in the middle and pulled out the top, what came out was a sword. The other appeared to be a rope dart with a kunai at the front of it.

"A sword and a rope spear." Spike said in surprise.
Sub-Zero said
"A cane sword, it is used as a way to fool enemies and surprise them when in the guise of a cane to aid others to walk and travel."
"The rope spear is something my clan uses. I myself am a wielder of it."
Scorpion then came up and said "Now, we must train you into using your chosen weapon."
Sub-Zero and Scorpion led Spike out to the temple to train once more. With Scorpion teaching him the rope spear while Sub-Zero taught him how to use his sword. The two masters fought Spike and began to spar with him with the weapons he chose.
(A few hours later)
Spike had begun to progress in his training, he was now wearing a dark colored outfit with holster for his rope spear in his hand and his sword on the back. He also had a dark face mask that covered his mouth and a hood to cover his head.
Spike had managed to disarm Sub-Zero with his newfound cryomancy and roundhouse kick Scorpion back with a flaming charged kick. As they trained, Spike began to gain more determination, confidence and strength in spite of not being a pony or having magic.
As they trained, Spike was feeling his grief, trauma and sadness slip away from his mind, letting himself be calm like still water as Sub-Zero told him before.
The time for the dual would come, and Spike knew if CHS was in danger, he had to act soon.

It was time, the day of the dual had come, as Spike was training, he greatly improved his skill and abilities to be more physically fit and strong. As he was training with the Grandmasters, Sub-Zero and Scorpion stopped attacking and bowed, with Spike doing the same.
"You have done well, young Spike." Sub-Zero said
"Your skill has been improving." Scorpion said
"Thank you, Grandmasters. I must head back to CHS and save it." Spike said with a bow.
"That is for the best, we have matters of our own to handle." Sub-Zero said
"I shall take you back to your school. Be careful." Scorpion said.
Scorpion held Spike's hand and teleported them in a fiery wave of hellfire.
(Back at Canterlot City)
Spike was transported to the outside of his apartment and Scorpion said
"Remember, your power is not about hatred and rage, it follows your determination and inner fire."
Spike nodded with a look of determination. He jumped on the roof of the apartment and parkoured from the roofs to reach the school.
Spike was able to reach Canterlot High and reached the rooftop. He witnessed the Crystal Prep school readying up to face Canterlot.
Watching the scene, Spike only glared at the fight that would come. Principal Cinch had came and said to the now approaching CHS students and Principal Celestia and Vice-Principal Luna.
"Well Celestia, it's been awhile."
"Indeed Abacus." Celestia said
"Your Champion hasn't arrived yet, I feel that you must forfeit your reputation." Cinch taunted.
As the students whispered in confusion and worry, Spike only gave a look and said in his thoughts.
"Where is the Champion? "
He then felt wind chill his skin and turned his eyes to the right. He saw Flash Sentry leaving his car and going to arena.
"Let's see how this goes." Spike said at the approaching Pegasus.
"You wanted me?" Flash asked in a cocky tone.
"Well, it's about time you show up Flash." Vice-Principal Luna said
"So, who's my opponent?" Flash asked
"Why don't you see for yourself." Cinch said and moved aside.
The opponent Flash was to face were 3 muscular boys with ripped shirts and jeans.
"Rover, Fido, Spot. You know what to do." Cinch said
"Yes ma'me" Rover said
"Ready?" Celestia said.
The opponents nodded and Rover came first to make it fair for Flash. The two readied themselves to fight.
"FIGHT!" Cinch said
The two charged and began to fight with blows to one another which were either countered or blocked. Flash flew in the sky and charged with a kick, hitting Rover in the jaw.
"OW!" Rover said, but he managed to get back up.
As he did, he uppercutted Flash in the chin and started to throttle him. Flash however, broke free with a elbow to Rover's face.
The fight had progressed, yet Flash was slowly getting more tired. As he fought back, Twilight shouted
"Come on Flash!"
Flash desperately tried to fight more, but Rover had too much persistence. As they fought, Rover kneed Flash and punched him to the ground
Spike only looked and saw the desperation of the students of CHS at Flash's beaten state. With an silent nod, he jumped and parkoured his way to the ground and landed near the arena.
"Well Celestia, looks like you're champion isn't getting up. Your 10 seconds are going down."
"10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2...." The students counted, until an familiar voice said
"STOP!"
The students of both schools turned and saw the masked Spike approach.
"I will fight for my school's honor." Spike said
The students were confused upon seeing the masked newcomer.
"Who is that?" An female student asked
"Is that an student from our classes?" One teacher asked
"What is he wearing?" A male student asked.
"So stranger, you want to defend this low rate school?" Cinch asked
"Says an old second rate woman that cheats her school to victory with illegal or unlawful methods?" Spike asked.
This comeback made the students of both schools laugh or snicker in amusement while Cinch only gave a look of dismay and said.
"Smart one huh? You won't laugh once you meet my Champions."
She moved back and the moment she did, The 3 muscular teenage boys came in and said loudly
"WE"RE THE DIAMOND DOGS, THE CHAMPIONS OF CRYSTAL PREP!!!! LET'S SEE WHAT YOU GOT LIZARD!!!!!" Rover said
Spike did not speak and only readied himself, his hands emitted fiery and icy auras.
"If we win, your male students will be our warriors and the females will be used as breeding stock." Cinch said
This statement shocked the students, while Vice Principal Luna asked
"And if we win?"
"That's your decision to make." Cinch replied
As the fighters got ready, Principal Celestia said
"Ready?"
Cinch then shouted "FIGHT! "
The Diamond Dogs charged at Spike, who quickly jump kicked Fido and Spot, while Rover tried to punch Spike, but he dodged constantly. As he attacked, the other two began to recover, Spike noticed and grabbed Rover's arm and threw him into the other two Diamond Dogs.
"OOF!" Rover said knocking the other two down.
Spike then made a few hand gestures and froze the three solid with his cryomancy.
"Who is that guy?" Sunset asked.
He then flared his hands and then removed his mask and his face shocked the audience.
He breathed a heavy blow of fire at their frozen forms. The blast melted the ice, but left them both alive, yet cold and wet. The audience was surprised at his newfound abilities.
"Spike?!?!" Principal Celestia said.
The words of Celestia shocked the CHS students.
"That's the no-magic runt?!" A male student said
"What happened to him?!" A teacher asked
"How did he get so ripped?!?!" An female student said
Even the Rainbooms were shocked upon seeing the now powerful dragon's face and body.
"WE WILL NOT LOSE TO A LIZARD LIKE YOU!!!" Rover shouted
Spike, however dashed in lightning speed thar rivaled even Rainbow Dash and used his sword to cut his body in all around the chest and back and seriously slashed the smaller teen's throat while using his rope spear to strangle the other teen to near-death. The slashes were so strong, their clothes were ripped and nearly exposed their groins.
"Wait! Please! You win!" Rover said on his knees, but Spike grabbed him by the hair
"Live or Die man?" Spike asked
"LIVE!! LIVE!!!! PLEASE!!!!" Rover begged.
Spike only gave a frown and readied a blow. The CHS students backed away at what Spike would do. Some even said
"I can't look dude!"
"He's had enough!"
"Do it!"
"Finish him!"
Spike threw a punch but stopped near his nose, instead his fingers gave a cold aura and he let him go by dropping his head on the ground.
Spike then said to the other two "You two want more?"
They fearfully shook their heads no and backed away.
Rover was however angry at his pride being broken and charged, saying.
"I WILL NOT LOSE TO YOU, YOU LITTLE-"
Spike, sensing his movement, countered with a kick and punches to his face and stomach.
FINISH HIM!
Spike readied his rope spear at the stunned Diamond dog and threw it. It landed and impaled him directly in his face.
"ROVER!" The other two said in horror.
Spike, with a heavy push, pulled his head off and grabbed it in his hand, saying
"Flawless Victory!"
FATALITY!
The students of CHS were surprised and cheered while the Crystal Prep students were shocked to see their champion defeated.
Spike began to walk away silently, until the two Principals stopped him.
"Spike, wait!" Celestia interrupted him.
"What is it?" Spike replied.
"We have to update your rank and power level." Luna said.
"You don't have to-" Spike said, but he was cut off.
"Yes we do! Come with us." Celestia said as she and Luna escorted Spike to the CHS office.
As they left, the Rainbooms were especially as shocked and surprised at the victory Spike had done, he easily not only defeated the Champions of Crystal Prep, but killed one effortlessly and easily. Rarity was even more focused on how his appearance had changed.
In the office, Spike was with the principal's, they both looked at him as he put his mask back on.
"Spike, may I ask why you chose to fight for Canterlot High's honor?" Principal Celestia said.
Spike did not answer, he simply asked "How is Flash?"
"He is recovering, we managed to get him to the infirmary. However, he is still being punished."
"Why?" Spike asked
"He refused to accept the responsibility that it was a Champion vs Champion match. Therefore, we stripped him of his rank." Luna said
"Alright. But please, give him a chance." Spike said
"...Very well, he will remain in the school and be on reserves UNDER OBSERVATION. But we are stripping him of his rank and privileges and still removing him from the other teams. Many have demanded he be punished for his reckless actions. Even Superintendent Discord was furious and demanded either expulsion or rank removal. I'm sorry Spike, but that's the best we can give to him." Celestia said in reply.
"Ok, at least it's a bit lenient." Spike said
"Now, place your hand on the mirror." Celestia said, motioning to a mirror in front of her.
Spike did so and placed his hand on the mirror. The moment he did, the school shook, and it surprised both.
"Spike, that's enough!" Celestia said
Spike backed away from the mirror and the shaking stopped, Celestia and Luna both looked at the mirror and were shocked by the number.
"Your number is 500,000. That's enough to get an S+ rank!" Celestia said
"You also have an new ability that works as a enhancement to it. It's called Elemental Dragon." Luna added.
"Cool. Is there anything else?"
"No, but we want to tell you we are very proud of you." Luna said
Spike nodded and left the office. As he did, he went outside and sat near the statue near the school. He began to meditate and calm his mind.
"Hey!" A familiar voice said
Spike opened his eyes and turned his back. He looked and saw Soarin and Cheese Sandwich coming over to him
"You two?" Spike asked.
"We realize what dicks we've been, we're here to apologize." Soarin said
"Yeah, Caramel was right, Flash was a complete asshole. We should have walked away like he did." Cheese further added, disappointed in himself.
"I forgive you, but I can't forget what you did." Spike said
"I guess that's fair. Flash doesn't deserve it though." Soarin agreed
"I asked them to go easy on him." Spike said
"WHAT?!" Cheese and Soarin both said
"Dude, he treated you like shit for years, how can you do that?!" Cheese asked
"Because, He may be an idiot, but at least he has some honor and balls to fight back." Spike said
The two nodded as Soarin said "We should go inside now."
"Why? The fights over and we have no class at this time." Spike said confused
"Yeah, but they look like their getting hot from you." Soarin said pointing behind Spike
Spike turned and saw the Dazzlings give flirtatious looks at him. Adagio blew a kiss at him, Aria turned around and smacked her round butt, making it jiggle while Sonata pushed her arms under her cleavage, making appear as if her rack ahad grown.
Spike however, rememebered them all too well. and gave a look of mixed disgust and annoyance and said to the two stallions.
"Lead the way."
They did so and went inside the school, unaware Spike's life would change not just in CHS, but in Canterlot City itself.

Spike, Soarin and Cheese Sandwich were entering the school building and began to walk through the hallways. As soon as he entered, Spike was greeted by numerous students and teachers who seemed overjoyed to meet him.
"Dude! You've got a whole fanclub now." Soarin said
Spike only gave a scowl of annoyance and walked with them to the cafeteria. As he did, Spike only heard the students or teachers say.
"Hey, isnt that the dragon kid? "
"Didn't he KILL one of the Champions of Crystal Prep?"
"Where did he learn those cool moves?"
"All I can say is that suit makes me wet~"
As Spike walked, he only thought to himself.
"Wow, whenever I almost die they completely shrug it off, but when I do it to help them or defend myself I'M the monster. What hypocrisy. "
(At the Cafeteria)
The 3 went to a table at the cafeteria and pretty soon, a number of staff teachers and students wanted to talk to Spike, who simply stood on his seat, meditating with his eyes closed, doing what the warrior at the temple did with the snake.
"What is he doing?" Soarin asked.
"No idea." Cheese Sandwich replied.
As Spike stood still, he only focused his mind and let himself stay in peace of his thoughts. As he stood, he felt something on the table and opened his eyes.
Spike looked and saw numerous love letters from the girls in the school along with small papers that had either phone numbers or flirty messages on them. He only gave a look of disgust and got out of his spot.
Grabbing the letters, he simply put them all in a trash bin and using his fire abilities, burned them inside the bin. Spike only went to the waiting line to get food.
"Howdy there Spike." Granny Smith greeted, giving Spike more food then before.
"Hi, Mrs. Smith. What's up?" Spike said politely
"Nothin really, But AJ and Apple Bloom have been trying to get your attention recently." Granny Smith said
"Well, I know this may sound mean. But I can't forgive them or the others now. I hope you understand." Spike said with a pleading tone.
"Ah understand little Spikey, I even heard what happened from Applejack and Apple Bloom and had a little talk with both of em. But when you are ready, give them another chance."
"Thank you. And when I'm ready, I will." Spike said with gratitude, with Granny Smith nodding with a smile.
Spike took his food tray and went to his table with Soarin and Cheese. As he began to eat, he saw Big Macintosh approaching.
"Howdy Spike." The red muscular stallion said
"Hello Big Mac." Spike greeted.
The red stallion sat next to him and saw the looks of the students.
"Looks like you have a lot of admirers." Big Macintosh commented.
"Not that I want it. But I don't." Spike said with annoyance.
"Yer still mad?" Big Macintosh said.
"Not mad, disappointed." Spike said with clarification.
"Honestly, me too. I was even angry at AJ and Apple Bloom. Granny Smith an I even gave BOTH of em a little chat ." Big Mac said with a look of dismay.
"I heard." Spike said.
As Spike ate, he noticed that Rarity was eyeing him from her table, but he continued to eat his food silently.
As he was, he felt someone tap his shoulder, he turned and saw it was none other then Twilight Sparkle of the Rainbooms.
"You? " Spike said with a look of confusion
"Yeah, can I talk to you for a moment?" Twilight asked
Spike only got up and followed her and said again "What is it?"
Twilight only handed out a little envelope that had a rainbow sticker on it. Spike only looked at it and said
"What is this?"
"I, Twilight Sparkle, formally invite you to join the Elements of Harmony and the Rainbooms." Twilight said
Spike only took the envelope and saw Twilight's smile. But what he said next surprised her.
"Up yours you insensitive dick sucking low-life pussy excuse of a monarch. By the way, your ass makes you fat." Spike insulted, with his eyes flaring flaming red as he spoke.
Twilight's smile faded as Spike angrily ripped the envelope to pieces.
"What are-?" Twilight said, but was cut off.
"What am I doing? The right decision you stupid phony." Spike further said
"What do you-?" Twilight again spoke, but was cut off once more.
"What I'm doing is what I should have done. I stuck by you for 20 damn YEARS Twilight. And how did you repay me? You left me, abused me, abandoned me and attacked me. I'm not your adoptive brother. I loved you with all my heart as a family. But now....you can go fuck yourself."
Twilight remained quiet as Spike continued.
"Who was the one who stuck by you all those years, who was the one that helped you get your textbooks, who was the one that kept you on your feet. ME! But you never cared! Is that anyway to say thank you. No! I don't fucking think so!"
As Spike spoke, Twilight only cried quietly more at his words.
"In fact, it was my dream to be with you and your friends and call you my family. And if you had asked before i would've said yes woth all my heart. But now....? When I have alot of power and strength? Your no hero or Element of Harmony. Just a pig playing dress up and hurting others for her own selfishness. Well, Congratu-fucking-lations! Now...to you...I. AM. DEAD."
Spike then began to leave and Twilight held the broken and ripped envelope to her heart. Footsteps were heard and Twilight saw it was the other girls.
"That insensitive ruffian! How dare he hurt Twilight!" Rarity said angrily
Applejack, however, asked "Hold on. Twilight, was what he said the truth?"
Twilight, shattered and in tears, nodded as she held the letter pieces in grief. Spike however, stopped and went back to them.
"Oh and Princess, one more thing. "
She turned and the girls looked at him also, Spike said in a menacing tone
"If ANY of you mooks try to follow or annoy me..."
The dragon warrior threw a bag near them, which was dripping red. Rarity opened the bag and she gasped. The other Rainbooms looked and gave looks of horror.
Inside....was the HEAD of Rover.
"...THAT. MEANS. YOU. ALL OF YOU." Spike said slowly, but in a menacing and furious tone.
The dragon warrior left the school and went to the exit.
(At the Lin Kuei Temple)
Spike was meditating with Sub-Zero and said
"Master, I must confess something."
Sub-Zero said confused "Confess?"
"I...I killed the Champion during the dual. I let my rage and hate consume me. It's all my fault." Spike said with guilt
"Spike, why did you kill him?" Sub-Zero said surprised
"Because, I was always bullied and hurt and during these types of things, the students always beat me up to near death and almost kill me. You taught me to never let my hatred consume me, but I let my past cloud my judgement. I killed him and I threatened to do the same to someone else. I am no better."
Sub-Zero gave a look of mixed pity and dismay at the young dragon and said
"While do feel a bit disappointed in you for killing him, you should know better then to do such things. The reason you weren't apprehended by authorities is because my spies managed to find out your opponent was wanted for assault and theft. They alerted the officers; it turned Cinch had bribed them into letting him free."
Spike didn't reply, he only looked at Sub-Zero who said again
"But on the other hand, you let all your hate and fury out and released your anger. That is what you had trouble with. I understand it was wrong to kill him, but you need to learn to let the past move on."
Spike only gave a look of uncertainty and said "When i'm ready, i'll forgive them, but not now."
Sub-Zero nodded and said "That is a good choice."
As they spoke, they continued to meditate in the temple. After a few hours, Spike left the temple to go to his apartment.
(In Canterlot City)
Spike had hopped from rooftop to rooftop to head to his apartment, as he neared the building, he stood on a rooftop and saw a familiar figure at the building entrance about to enter.
"What is SHE doing here? " Spike thought.
The figure in question was Twilight Sparkle, who was about to enter the apartment building.
Spike watched as Twilight entered the apartment building. As he watched, he only thought to himself more why she was at his apartment.
Well, guess I should give her a little surprise." Spike said to himself
He slowly jumped and climbed from window to window to his apartment and eventually witnessed Twilight near his door.
"Here goes." Spike said
(In the apartment building)
Twilight knocked on the door. But there was no answer.
"Hello? Spike are you there?"
The door creaked open slowly and Twilight entered the apartment. His apartment wasn't so bad. It had the basic necessities. A kitchen, bathroom, 2 bedrooms and a living room. As she looked, she said again.
"Spike? Where are you?"
As she looked, a shuriken nearly hit her and hit the wall.
SHIKT!
Twilight gasped and turned and saw Spike was behind her. She only said with dismay.
"You could've killed me!"
Spike, with a look of disgust, said "So? You did it to me a bunch of times."
Twilight only sighed and said "Look, I'm not here to fight, I'm here to apologize."
"No." Spike quickly replied.
"Spike...please!...just hear me out! For old times sake." Twilight tried to say
"And as I said, your no family of mine. I stopped being your family when I said your dead to me." Spike coldly refused.
"Spike, I just want things to be like old times sake! I just want your forgiveness!" Twilight said, with slight tears
Spike, however said "Forgiveness is earned Princess. And you never even followed your lessons you taught. Compassion, love, mercy. You did the opposite of those things to me all my life."
Twilight winced at his words, and Spike pulled out his sword from it's sheath.
"Spike, dont!" Twilight tried to reason.
"Get out! Before I show you what no mercy really means. I already showed you mercy back at your stupid offer. I'm not showing it again." Spike threatened
Twilight only looked and saw the hate in his eyes. With a silent nod, she left his apartment and closed the door on her way out.
Spike only sat on the couch and cried to himself silently.
(The next day)
As Spike was heading to Canterlot High, he noticed that the students once again began to fawn over him. He only ignored them and proceeded inside the building. As he walked, he refused to acknowledge them and went to his locker.
Inside were a bunch of fan letters, love notes and panties. Spike however, only gave a look of disgust and threw them all in a trash bin. He only continued to his locker. As he walked, he felt an someone was coming, he turned around and saw it was Flash.
"What do you want?" Spike asked
"You know exactly what I want you little FUCK!" Flash accused
"It's not my fault your dick is small in a fight." Spike commented.
"What was that?!" Flash said angrily
"I asked the principals to give you some leniency and you should be grateful. Ranks are earned, not given." Spike replied
"Wait. Why would you do that?" Flash said with a puzzled look.
"Because unlike you, I was trained to know the meaning of honor, respect and balance. It's time you learn it soon....if possible." Spike replied in disgust.
Flash only gave a look as Spike began to leave his locker and went to class.
(In class)
Spike went to his class and removed his hood and mask. He pulled out his textbook and began to work. As he did, the students gave him looks of admiration.
The teacher, Ms. Cheerilee, came in and said
"Everyone, settle down!"
The class began to quiet down and sit in their desks. As Spike looked at the teacher, she only said
"Now class, can anyone tell me what the three races of equines are and what they are known for?"
"They are Pegasi, Unicorns and Earth ponies. Pegasi have wings they use to not only fly and travel but also deal with the weather and clouds. Unicorns have horns and magic which they use to create or make spells such as levitation and telekinesis. Earth ponies have increased strength and endurance which they use to increase physical strength and mental resilience." Spike said
The class gave looks at Spike for his answer and Cherilee said with a surprised smile.
"That is correct Mr. Drake."
Spike nodded and continued to work. As he did, The Rainbooms, who happened to be behind him gave looks of surprise at his answer.
"Dude! That was fast!" Rainbow Dash said surprised, Spike didn't answer.
"How did you ever know that?" Rarity asked curiously.
Spike still did not speak, he only kept working. Twilight, who happened to be with them tried to talk to him
"Spike, I just want to-MMMMPH?!"
As she spoke, Spike used his newfound cryomancy and from his finger, shot a blast of ice at her mouth, sealing it in cold ice, leaving her and the other Rainbooms shocked.
As Spike worked, he threw a little note at her desk. It said simply
"Leave me alone. I don't like any of you. "
(At Lunch)
Spike was eating lunch in the cafeteria and as he did, the PA system said
"Spike Drake, please report to the podcast room. I repeat, Spike Drake, please report to the podcast room. "
Spike heard the PA and simply left the cafeteria.
(In Podcast Room)
Spike walked through the hallways and eventually, he reached the room. Entering, he saw a recording studio and microphones.
Inside was a woman that Spike had not recognized, he gave a closer look at her and saw it was none other then Principal Celestia along with the one and only Superintendent Discord.
"Principal Celestia? What are you doing in here? and Who is that?" Spike asked
"Well, Spike, I figured since you helped our school, the Superintendent would want to interview you on us and how we should improve CHS." Celestia said
"Fine." Spike said and sat down next to them. Discord then pressed some buttons and said on the mic to the PA.
"Good morning CHS! Today we are having a very special day today! Our special guest is none other then the savior of this school! You know him, you love him. Spike the Dragon!"
Over the intercom, cheers were heard and Spike could hear it coming from the other rooms in the class halls.
"So Spike, how has life been for you?" Discord asked
"The usual." Spike said simply
"Do you have any thoughts on the fight and your accomplishment?" Discord asked
Spike simply replied "No, only the safety of the school students and teachers."
This made the CHS students smile with happiness as Discord asked
"Do you have any interest in anyone?"
"Nope." Spike answered
"Have you considered joining any groups of heroes such as The Rainbooms or forming your own?" Discord asked
"Never and I don't think I would join a group of racist, hypocritical liars of false bravado." Spike said with disappointment.
This statement shocked the students, even the Rainbooms as Spike continued.
"In fact, I idolized them, loved them and cared about one particular member. Yet they along with pretty much both student and teacher alike treated me like I was nothing. I had another chance and nobody is going to ruin it."
This left the whole CHS staff and student body silent at how they treated Spike, even the Rainbooms gave looks of regret and guilt, as they received some glares of disapproval by some students and teachers.
"Not only that, but a few teachers and students sent me death threats and assaulted me regularly." Spike added
This only made the teachers, notable Mr. Cranky Doodle and Mrs. Harshwhinny, give looks of fear and hide themselves by their desks.
"Anything else?" Spike asked
"Yes. Are you planning to stay at CHS or join another school?" Discord asked
"....I haven't decided yet, but I'll let you know." Spike said
"Ok then. Well, until next time everybody!" Discord said as the PA cut off. Spike then left the room silently and walked away as the bell rang.
(At the Lin Kuei Temple)
Spike was currently holding bowls of water on his head, arms and legs. As he did, his eyes were closed and he remained calm. A bo-staff hit him in the chest, but he remained still.
The attacker was the Grandmaster, who continued to hit Spike with his staff, but he remained unfazed. As Sub-Zero swung the staff to the bowl on Spike's head. The dragon teen dodged and managed to balance the bowl on his head. The young warrior and the Grandmaster continued to train for the next hour.
"Very good dragon warrior." Sub-Zero acknowledged.
"Thank you master." Spike said, bowing with respect, which Sub-Zero returned
(With the Rainbooms)
In the music room of Canterlot High, it was after school hours and Twilight was cleaning her face with a paper towel after she removed the ice Spike shot at her mouth. As she did, she went to another room and saw the rest of the girls but Rarity, along with Starlight Glimmer
"Wow, I guess we really screwed up huh?" Rainbow Dash said
"Yer right Dash, we treated him like a dog on a leash all these years." Applejack said
Rarity eventually came in and said to the girls with a tone of hurry and surprise.
"Um, girls, you may want to see this." Rarity said with wide eyes.
"Rarity, what's the matter?" Fluttershy said concerned
"Follow me, you must see this." Rarity said again.
The girls followed Rarity and went to the roof, where they saw none other then Spike balancing on the roof, with the same stance the Lin Kuei warrior did at the temple.
"Spike?!" The girls said surprised.
Spike, however remained silent and calm.
"What are you doing here?" Twilight asked
Spike, once again ignored them.
"Spikey! Why are you here! Ooh! Did you forgive us and want to have a party!?" Pinkie said excited
Spike did not answer again, how only balanced and remained calm.
Applejack went over to him and saw his eyes were focusing on the ground. She simply waved her hand at him and said
"Er, Spike? Ya'll ok?"
The dragon warrior still didn't acknowledge their presence.
"Dude, we're talking to you!" Rainbow Dash said annoyed.
She was about to touch his shoulder, but the moment she did, he grabbed her hand without looking back and began to put pressure.
"OWOWOWOW! LET GO!" Rainbow Dash said in pain, nearly shedding some tears.
Spike complied and threw her at the other girls.
"What's your deal dude?!" Rainbow Dash said in anger
"Bakas (idiots)" Spike insulted the girls
"What did he say?" Fluttershy asked.
Sunset, using her magic to translate what he said and gasped saying "Hey! We're not idiots!"
"That's it!" Starlight said and blasted magic at Spike.
The dragon warrior reacted quickly and turned around, using his cryomancy to freeze the blast in his hands and redirected the blast, which froze Starlight solid.
"STARLIGHT!" The girls said in shock before getting ready to fight Spike, who readied himself.
Spike only stood as the girls readied themselves to fight. As they charged, Spike noticed and saw Rainbow Dash using her speed to reach him.
With a use of his cryomancy, Spike iced the roof floor and evaded Rainbow Dash's' charge, while she nearly slipped and fell.
"Whoa whoa whoa whoa!" Rainbow said as Spike pushed her down the ground but made sure she did not fall.
Applejack tried to attack from behind, but Spike sensed her movement and ducked, causing her to flip over his back. The two fought in hand to hand with Applejack trying to punch or kick him, yet Spike evaded her blows and forced his palms in her gut, knocking the wind out of her. He used his sword to protect himself from Twilight and the other girl's attacks and magical powers by forming a fire-ice shield.
Seeing Twilight and Rarity heading to him, Spike backflipped and grabbed Fluttershy by the arm and used her as a shield.
"AAAAGGGH!" Fluttershy said in pain as Twilight, Sunset, Rarity and Pinkie's attacks hit her.
"Fluttershy!" Pinkie said in worry
Spike then jump kicked Pinkie directly in the face and proceeded to use her to hit Twilight and Rarity like a rag doll. As Spike did so, he managed to kick Rarity unconscious and knock the air out of Twilight with a kick to her abdomen. After this, Spike managed to knee Pinkie, though she slashed his cheek midway as he karate chopped her neck, making her fall down. Sunset Shimmer saw this and said
"Try this lizard!"
She charged a magical black of fire in her palms and fired the orb at Spike. However, Spike, seeing the attack kept his eyes on the orb and quickly grabbed it with his palms.
"What the heck?! How did he do that?!" Sunset said upon seeing Spike catch her magic attack.
Spike, with flaring green eyes, redirected the attack and it hit Sunset Shimmer with fiery and icy sparks emitting from her as she hit the ground in pain.
The beaten Rainbooms only groaned in pain at being single-handedly defeated. As Spike only looked at them with pity, he sensed someone was behind him. Turning his eye pupils, Spike saw it was Sunset Shimmer trying to launch another magic attack. With his rope dart, he nailed her shoulder and shouted
"COME HERE!"
Sunset was forcefully pulled towards him as Spike kneed her and said angrily
"Mercy is for the weak, We don't train here to be merciful. When you face an opponent he or she is the enemy. The enemy doesn't deserve mercy or forgiveness."
As Spike spoke, Sunset began to give a look of horror and shed some tears, thinking the worst. Even the Rainbooms were horrified and shocked as they thought Spike was going to kill her like he did with Rover.
"Sunset!" Twilight said in fear.
"Please! Stop!" Fluttershy shouted in tears while ignoring her pain.
"Spike! Please! She's had enough!" Pinkie Pie shouted
"C'mon dude! We're sorry!" Rainbow Dash pleaded also
"We deserve this, but you don't have to go that far!" Applejack tried to reason
Spike however, ignored them and readied his fist and charged as Sunset closed her eyes...until he stopped just inches near her nose.
"Huh?" Sunset said confused.
Spike simply used his fingers to tweak her nose
HONK!
He then dropped Sunset to the ground near her friends and began to leave. As soon as he did, Starlight was freed from her icy prison and fell down saying.
"What happened?"
(In the Lin Kuei Temple)
Spike was meditating with Grandmaster Sub-Zero and letting his mind flow calmly and letting his grief and stress out of his body.
As Spike meditated, he felt a presence and footsteps behind him. He saw it was Scorpion.
"Hello Master Scorpion." Spike said
"Greetings young Ryu." Scorpion said
Spike continued to meditate as Scorpion said to Sub-Zero "Sub-Zero, I need to talk to you."
The Lin Kuei Grandmaster got up and followed his friend. As Spike continued to meditate alone, he began to increase the effects of his abilities and training memory and let his anger flow through him.
"Remember, you're doing this to make peace with the enemy, not gain power from hate. Don't let your anger define who you are or what you choose. The masters may kill too, but it's to protect their family and loved ones " Spike reminded himself
As he meditated, Spike began to let his past memories flow through his mind then fighting it. He had been hurt and abandoned so much his whole that of he let his hate consume him, it would make him no better then his opponents.
(In Canterlot High)
Spike had eventually went to school the next day and was in the cafeteria eating, as he did. He was given looks by the other students. Some were of admiration while others were of surprise. The Rainbooms were giving him mixed looks of distaste, fear or dismay as he ate.
After Spike had finished eating his food, he got up and threw out the remains and left the cafeteria.
"What is with that guy?" Rainbow Dash said
"Well, he showed us we don't deserve his friendship." Applejack said
"But what have we each done to him? I'm sure I haven't." Pinkie Pie asked
"Pinkie. You threw parties for Twilight and the other students but never him. All you did was give him a bunch of pranks and bad food." Applejack said
"And plus you almost killed him with those a few times." Sunset added.
Pinkie only gave a shocked look as her hair deflated and her smile faded and she only said in a quiet tone of sadness.
"What have I done...?"
The girls saw her depressed state and tried to comfort her.
(Outside CHS)
Spike was walking out the entrance and saw a few students were leaving for the day. As he walked, he saw a familiar girl handing out flyers. He looked closer and recognized her as Fluttershy. He saw her trip and the flyers flew out her hands. Despite his feelings, Spike gave a sigh of breath and walked over to the shy, beautiful and busty animal caretaker.
"You ok?" Spike asked
Fluttershy looked up and saw who it was "Spike? What are you doing here?"
"The usual. What are you doing here?" Spike replied
"I was handing out some flyers for supporting the Canterlot Animal Shelter, but nobody wants to help. If i don't, those poor animals will have no home to go to and might get killed."
Spike may have been angry at the Rainbooms, but seeing the state Fluttershy was in made him remember the words and promise of his masters, to not let his past and anger consume him. The dragon warrior grabbed a flyer and said
"I'll take one."
"R-Really?" Fluttershy said in surprise.
"Sure. I have nothing else to do."
Fluttershy smiled with tears and hugged him, with Spike patting her head.
"We go after school." Fluttershy said
Spike nodded and they went back into CHS. As they entered, 3 male bully students gave looks of annoyance. They were Dumbbell, Score and Hoops.

As they talked, the doors of the Animal Shelter opened and in came the Rainbooms in different costumes. Twilight was a wizard, Starlight Glimmer was a witch, Pinkie Pie was a chicken, Rainbow Dash was in a Flash-esque outfit, Applejack wore a werewolf costume, Sunset Shimmer was dressed in an vampire like costume with dark ripped clothes and Rarity was a succubus. "But you chose to help me even after what I did. And you girls need to know we all deserved it when he beat us up!" Fluttershy said
"WHAT?! Fluttershy are you serious! This guy used you as a shield!!!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed in disbelief
"YES RAINBOW DASH!!!!! THIS. MEANS. ALL OF YOU. In fact, we each never apologized or helped him when he helped us! Plus I deserved it when we attacked him, I know I too did bad things, but I now know I deserved it!" Fluttershy pointed out once more.
The shy animal lover first looked at Rainbow Dash with disdain and said
"Let's start with you Dash. You bullied him, hurt him, threatened him and even tried to kill him! I know I myself am responsible for doing some of this, but what you did could have gotten you expelled or arrested!"
Rainbow Dash backed away in fear as Fluttershy scolded her, with Fluttershy turning to Pinkie next
"Pinkie Pie, you love to help throw parties for others and make other people smile right? Then why did you treat Spike like a thing you could use all the time? He helped you with homework and projects and this is how you repay him?! You literally threw away what you wanted to do for everybody!!!" Fluttershy shouted in disgust.
Pinkie only gave tears of sorrow as she back away from Fluttershy's words. Spike was even shocked that Fluttershy was not just defending him, but angry and furious at the Rainbooms, her friends.
Next was Applejack, who was giving a look of fear at the shy girl.
"Applejack, I understand you want to be honest with your friends, but you were never honest with yourself and Spike! You tried to kill him, made him be your punching bag, never treated him equally and lied to his face just cause he didn't have magic! And your supposed to be the Element of Honesty, you're a disgrace not just to us, but YOURSELF !" Fluttershy angrily said in scorn
Applejack only backed away and tipped her hat to hide her guilt-ridden look. Fluttershy then turned to Rarity.
"Rarity, for someone so generous, you're just as greedy. Whenever Spike helped you, you took advantage of his heart, his love and his determination to make you love him and yet you used him and hurt him because he had no magic. All you cared about was gems and profit and you never cared about him. That tells me your no Element of Generosity but a cheating, unfaithful hypocrite." Fluttershy said
Rarity only gave a look of disbelief at Fluttershy and with a open mouth of shock. Fluttershy then said to Sunset Shimmer.
"Sunset, while I may trust you and see that you change who you are. Spike had every right to hurt us and most notably YOU ! You treated him like a dog, made him clean your things, bullied him and told him to kill himself for not being worth anything! You acted like the very person you swore to never be again!" Fluttershy called out
The statement from Fluttershy made Sunset's eyes widen in shock and realization at they way she acted and she cried a bit in grief and sadness. Fluttershy then turned to Twilight and Starlight and gave looks of utter disapproval.
"Now you two. You two are supposed to be the leading and true leaders of Friendship, especially when Twilight reformed you Starlight. But you both just use your titles and so-called Friendship lessons to justify what you do. Starlight, you were offered a chance to make friends and yet here you are using another person's life for your own gain. You said you wanted to give Friendship another chance, but your not giving it to someone else who helped you when you needed it."
Starlight only backed away in guilt as Twilight was the last one.
"Twilight, he was your family. Your morale compass. OUR morale compass and this is how you treat him?! Selling him out, casting him away and acting as if you never knew him. He was the one that made you and I get up and keep fighting back and to never give up and you used him for you own selfish, hypocritical and borderline immoral interests. I understand I may have treated him bad too, but that doesn't excuse how you've been to him either! You even forced him to do all your work and chores and never even showed him any gratitude for how much he helped and love you! Element of Magic, Princess of Friendship my ass! YOUR A JOKE! The girls only looked at each other and nodded with acceptance.
"I guess that's fair." Rainbow Dash agreed

The girls and Spike nodded with each other as Applejack said
"Let's get outside everybody!"
(Outside Canterlot City)
Outside the city, the girls and Spike were walking around and seeing different Halloween shaped themes around the shops and city. Fluttershy was now wearing her costume, which was a school girl outfit from Japanese animes. As they walked from Canterlot to the bus stop near the city entrance, Spike asked
"Where are we going?"
"You'll see." Pinkie said as they entered the bus.

The group began to head into the haunted mansion and as they did, the doors opened slowly by themselves. As they entered, the are looked to be of elegance yet old time-like. As the girls and Spike entered, they looked around and saw the area and gave looks of fear or discomfort.
"Well, someone had a good life." Spike said
"Yeah, a long one probably too." Sunset added
"But the bigger question is, where's the PARTY?!?!" Pinkie shouted
The moment she said this, there was a light turned on in the center room and the group saw it.
"What's that?" Fluttershy asked fearfully.
"Looks like someone's here. Come on." Spike said
They followed him into the center room and they saw a large table with a large number of big chairs with food on the table that looked recently cooked. The walls even had formal paintings of either wealthy woman or men and even relatives.

"Wait....why do those chairs have our names on tags?" Spike said pointing at the table.
The girls looked and saw he was right. Twilight, Starlight, Sunset and Rarity's names were on the right while Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Applejack and Pinkie's names were on the left. Spike's name was on the front back seat with a green tag and he sat on the chair.
"I guess maybe someone expected us to be here?" Spike asked
The girls shrugged, but as they sat down, they heard some footsteps, but there was nobody. The lights then went out.
"What the hell?!" Rainbow Dash said
"Who turned out the lights?!" Applejack shouted
"What's going on?!" Rarity said
However, the lights then came on a few minutes later.
"That's better." Fluttershy said with relief.

"How do I fight spirits of ghosts?!...wait...I think I have an idea. " Spike thought

The ghosts fell for his taunt and charged and at that moment. Spike entered a stance and swung his hands in a circle. His fingers turned shadowy black and created a portal. The spirits screamed and were frightened, until Spike said
"Will you leave us alone?"
One ghost hand gave a thumbs up and Spike dissipated the portal.
"Now you owe us ALL a party. And we'll leave until you give it." Spike demanded
The ghost hand gave a thumbs up again and led him and the girls to another room. It looked to be a gala room for formal events. The ghosts then showed themselves and created a DJ machine saying
"IT'S PARTY TIME!"

The next day, Spike was training at the Lin Kuei temple and was blindfolded while near some bells. Sub-Zero flicked rocks at the bells, with Spike kicking the bells the rock touched.
As Sub-Zero flicked rocks, Spike continued to kick the bells. Sub-Zero then flicked a rock at Spike directly, but the dragon ninja grabbed it with his hand.
"Good job, now to test your other senses." Sub-Zero said
Spike was then with Sub-Zero at a garden, the grandmaster had a chicken and placed it on the ground. The chicken ran as Sub-Zero said
"Find the chicken, listen to it, hear it."
The blindfolded Spike did so and carefully used the loud sound of the chicken to chase it. As he did, he managed to grab it and held it steady when it ran to a nearby corridor in the temple. The next task was to balance on a beam while his arms held buckets full of rocks, when Sub-Zero directed him to do so. As he jumped at the last beam, one rock fell, but Spike caught it with his foot.
The next exercise involved Spike using his sword to slice projectiles while still wearing his blindfold. Sub-Zero fired an ice ball at Spike, who quickly sliced it in two. The Grandmaster repeated the process from left to right and the center, until he threw a rock. Spike did not slice the projectile, he instead caught it in his left hand.

At the Canterlot Animal Shelter, Fluttershy was gaining a lot of customers who wanted to either donate, have a pet or both. Fluttershy was happy that the shelter had enough support to be able to help herself and the animals.

"All yours."
He then headed to the shop that was looted and returned the stolen items and left, leaving the girls confused. As Spike was walking away, a few bystanders saw him and clapped their hands at his good deed.
"Hey wait!" Sunset said, trying to talk to Spike.
But the dragon warrior would not speak, he merely left in silence and went his way, even jumping on some walls and buildings to avoid unwanted company.
The Rainbooms only looked on as Spike was leaving the area.
As Spike began to parkour around the city, he stopped and reached a large tower in the city. He jumped on a gargoyle head and overlooked the entire view of the city

However, as Spike jumped around, he saw the Animal Shelter being broken into. Fluttershy also was there and was about the enter the building. Spike, putting on his mask said

The 3 bullies from before were sneaking around the Animal Shelter Fluttershy worked at. As they snuck around, they began to trash the place and scare some of the animals in their kennels or cages.

However, the moment he said this, his left eye was stabbed with a shuriken and an shadowy figure slashed him in the chest with a sword
"AAAAAGGGHHHHH! MY EYEEEEEEE!" Dumbbell said holding his left eye and his face in pain.
The unknown figure the roundhouse kicked Dumbbell out while kicking Hoops and Score's heads hard to the ground.
Fluttershy, getting a good look at the figure, recognized him. "Spike?"
The dragon ninja only helped the animals and placed them in their cages or kennels. A hamster even jumped on Spike's shoulder, but Spike placed him in his little hamster cage with 2 others.
"What happened?" Fluttershy asked again
However, Spike only placed everything back in place and put some change in the donation jar. After that, he tied up the 3 vandals legs and arms and teleported away in flames from the scene.
Fluttetshy only gave a bewildered look as he left. She pulled out her phone and dialed 911.
(An hours later)
Spike was once again parkouring the city of Canterlot. He was trekking the city for more danger. As he did, he noticed the girls were in the cafe Pinkie Pie worked at, but he refused to bother. However, as he jumped on the cafe's roof, he heard some talking.

Spike looked closer and saw it was Score. He was talking to Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy was behind her with tears in her eyes, falling down her cheeks.

"Guess I should eat, haven't had anything since supper. " Spike said in his thoughts

"Not only that, but when I found out Bi-Han's murder, I had searched for Scorpion to kill him, but I had to suffer another matter known as the Cyber Lin Kuei. This was done by our Grandmaster to increase our deadliness at the cost of our humanity, I had lost many friends in my life, even Smoke." Sub-Zero said, giving a look of grief.
"Whoa, I get killing a bad guy, but killing a wife and child while forcing someone into being a soulless murderer? That's beyond wrong. So what happened after?" Spike said, disgust and horror evident in his voice.

It says the prize here is both a single wish of what you want and a million dollar prize, It also says that your allowed to kill in this tournament. The person who showed this was never revealed, the announcement came out of nowhere." Starlight informed them further.
"A tournament?" Sunset asked.
"Aw yeah! A tournament where we can not only kick butt but also get a prize of anything? I'm in!" Rainbow Dash said in excitement.
"Wait, how can a fighting tournament be allowed so easily?" Twilight asked
"I don't know, but I think it's worth checking out." Rarity asked.
"It says here the tournament starts next week, at the Canterlot City Sports Arena. It says to join, we have to go in person at the main desk." Applejack read from the notification, looking at Starlight's phone.
The other girls nodded and began to ready themselves as they made their way out to join the tournament.
(Elsewhere)
In an unknown building, an unknown figure was looking at an screen and it showed different areas of Canterlot City. The figure was joined by another figure who spoke in a robotic female voice.
"Has the tournament been a success yet?"
"It will in due time, for now, once we have enough combatants, we can increase our numbers and fulfill the Lin Kuei's destiny." The unknown figure replied.
On the screen showed some students of CHS, with the female figure replying "Do you have anything else in mind?"
The male figure replied "We need to increase our numbers for our clan and for the tournament, and I think I know just how to start..."
Author's Note
I am very VERY sorry I have not updated recently, I had some personal issues going with my life and I have been doing everything I can to cope, I know it's been a long while, but I have finally uploaded a chapter. I do apologize for not updating any of my stories.
I recently had felt that my life was going to spiral downwards with all the mistakes and stress I face in life, but I am slowly beginning to cope a bit better as time goes by. I do apologize for my lack of updates.

Spike was continuing his training with the Grandmasters. As he trained, he managed to unlock new abilities such as transforming into different animals, creating shadow clones of ice or fire, or forming weapons with his cryomancy and pyromancy. Spike had even gained the ability to teleport in farther distances with these abilities. As Spike trained, he transformed from a mouse, to a polar bear and dragon with green flaming eyes and hardened purple skin and sharp green scales on his head and chest and then turned back into his normal form.
After he finished training for today, Sub-Zero had appeared and said "You increase your skill well young dragon."
Spike bowed and said "Thank you Grandmaster. I owe you everything."
Sub-Zero bowed in return and said "You may help me and Scorpion with training for the tournament."
Spike nodded and said "What must we do?"
"We must wait. With your realm in danger, we have to wait and see what the challenge is. Go, protect your home and allies and if possible gather enough allies in your realm if you can."
Spike nodded and left the temple, ready to head back to Canterlot City. However, Sub-Zero then grabbed his arm and said.
"However, Spike, there is something I request you do for us."
Spike gave a look of confusion to the Lin Kuei Grandmaster, who said "Do not tell anyone in your home about the circumstances or us, we cannot risk our clan's location or Scorpion's clan to be exposed."
Spike nodded and bowed, saying "Yes Grandmaster."
Spike had arrived in the city and saw the area was normal as usual and continued to look around, getting some looks from civilians due to his mask and outfit. As Spike walked, he saw CHS in his sight.
"The Grandmaster said to look for allies for the tournament, but to not mention the the temple or him or Scorpion. How do I do that? " Spike thought to himself
As Spike walked, he bumped into someone, the person had dark sunglasses along with black colored spikey hair and wore a Crystal Prep uniform.
"Hey, aren't you that dragon ninja guy who killed one of our champions?" The boy asked
Spike replied "Who's asking?"
"Name's Neon, Neon Lights. I heard about you. How you pummeled our champion, saved our city from criminals, and by rumor beat the Rainbooms single-handedly."
Spike only gave an look at Neon and asked further "Your point being?"
"I just wanna ask dude, me and my girlfriend Vinyl Scratch are planning to enter that tournament that's coming next week. We've seen you defend our city and school a lot and even used badass ice and fire powers. How did you get so strong?" Neon asked curiously.
"I trained my whole life, now go away, I have matters to deal with." Spike said annoyed and began to leave.
"Whoa dude, I wasn't trying to be-" Neon tried to reason, but Spike walked far away from him and left him alone, leaving Neon bewildered.
As Spike left, he walked away and began to make his way near the Sweet Shoppe, where he saw the owners Mr. Cake and Mrs. Cake serving customers, but he only continued on his way. But as he was heading away from the shop, his stomach began to rumble.
"Well I guess I could eat something." Spike said.
Turning back to the shop, he walked in and saw many students from CHS around. He looked for an empty table and eventually found one. As soon as he sat down, he looked at the menu on the table. As Spike looked at the menu, some of the customers saw him and gave looks of surprise.
"Hey, isn't that the dragon ninja?" One girl asked
"The one who beats up criminals and sometimes kills?" An male student added
"What is he doing here?" Another male student asked curiously
As Spike looked at the menu, he only ignored the looks from the customers and eventually decided on what he wanted. He stood up and was heading to register. As he did, he sensed someone about to try and trip them with their leg, seeing that it was Thunderland who was with his friends Cloudchaser and Flitter.
"Let's see the lizard dodge this!" Thunderlane said in a challenging tone.
However, Spike easily continued to walk and touched Thunderlane's stretched out leg, but walked on his leg and stepped on it, causing him to say in pain
"OW! Why does he feel so hot and cold at the same time?!"
"Thunderlane!" Flitter said accusingly
"That's not what I meant! I mean his touch feels like it's peeling my skin!" Thunderlane complained
Spike only ignored them and went to the order desk. In front was Mr. Cake, who recognized him.
"Hey there Spike! How's it going?" Carrot Cake greeted the dragon warrior.
"Not much, Can I order a sweet shake with blueberry flavor?" Spike asked
"Sure thing! That'll be 10.38." Carrot Cake said
Spike pulled out the amount of money needed and placed it on the counter, which Carrot Cake took and proceeded to get ready to get Spike's order. Spike then sat back down at his table and began to meditate, as he did, he heard a voice in his mind.
"YOUR REALM WILL FALL....YOU WILL JOIN US....."
Spike focused as he said mentally "Who are you?! "
"YOU WILL KNOW SOON.....WHEN THE TOURNAMENT......COMES...... "
"Spike? Spike?!"
As Spike shook his head, he felt someone shake him. He snapped out of it and saw it was Cup Cake with his order.
"Are you alright? You kept blinking and shaking." Mrs. Cake asked
"Yes, I'm ok. Don't worry Mrs. Cake." Spike reassured with a smile
"Ok dear, I was a little worried." Cup Cake replied in concern.
Spike gave a thumbs up and took his order and and Mrs. Cake walked back to the counter. Spike only began to drink his smoothie and said with bliss
"Mmmm, so good."
As Spike sipped his smoothie, he eventually finished and threw the cup in the recycling bin. He then got up and left the shop.
(At the Lin Kuei temple)
Sub-Zero was meditating in the Lin Kuei temple and as he did, his hands emitted an icy waving aura.
"......KUAI.....LIANG...... "
Sub-Zero, felt movement behind him and dodged the attack and saw the attacker. The attacker was an figure in all black garb in a half black facial mask , with pale white eyes and held a dark hook which emitted clouds of shadowy air like his body.
"Bi-Han?!?!" Sub-Zero said
"Yes, I rise AGAIN. And I see you have gained a new apprentice after Frost." Bi-Han replied
"IF YOU TOUCH HIM BI-HAN-." Sub-Zero threatened with rage, his eyes glowing bluer and his hands even emitted cold auras as he formed an ice ball of energy.
"Save your strength brother, as much as I wish to kill you, I am to only relay a message to you." Bi-Han said
"Message?" Sub-Zero asked unconvinced.
"The tournament in the city known as Canterlot will not only begin next week, but you, Scorpion and your protegee will have to join along with those who join on the city's behalf. Even Sheeva, Jade, Rain and Kitana had agreed along with their Revenants. I am to only tell you that the Elder Gods and Raiden are speaking of who is ruling it the current Tournament's rules and who must be faced last.."
"Let me guess, Frost, you or Shao Kahn?" Sub-Zero questioned
"No, I sadly myself do not know, all I know is you had a quarrel with him ever since the previous tournament where I died. But you will know soon enough." Bi-Han further explained.
With that said, Sub-Zero's brother teleported away in a dark flash of shadows. Leaving Sub-Zero with a look of fear and dismay.
"I must inform Scorpion and Lord Raiden."
(In Canterlot City)
In an unknown building, the lights were off except for one dangling, flicking bulk showing two girls were tied up on chairs and were gagged as the ropes held their arms.
"Mmmmppppphhh!? (Hey, where are we?!)" The first girl said
"Mmmpphmmmphmphh!? (And why are we tied up?!)" The second girl asked
In response, footsteps were heard and a shadowy figure slowly came into view. The person had a cybernetic like appearance and yellow colored armor, green glowing eyes and said in a robotic voice.
"Targets achieved, initiating conversion processors for the ones called Gilda and Lightning Dust."
The cyborg slowly approached as the two girls struggled to escape.
A loud green light was seen out the window as screams were heard....
"Conversion complete. Initiate phase 2. Begin Canterlot tournament and eliminate Lin Kuei and Shirai Ryu." The robotic voice said again.
"Very good Cyrax. Now we must lure every fighter in all this realm's areas and ready them...for MORTAL KOMBAT." An unknown voice said.
A week had passed and Spike had began to increasingly unlock new abilities and techniques. As Spike continued his training, he had begun to unlock newer techniques and skills. From increased agility to the ability to control of fire, ice and other elements. Spike was currently training by dodging a number of thrown knives and shurikens by Grandmaster Scorpion. As Spike dodged, he either jumped, rolled or ducked. After a few hours, Spike had dodged a large amount of thrown projectiles.
"Very good Ryu. You have been taught well." Scorpion said
Spike nodded and bowed with respect "Arigatou (Thank you) Grandmaster."
Scorpion bowed in turn and said "The tournament is approaching, I will meet you in the area that is located in your home. "
Spike nodded and began to head back to the portal leading to Canterlot City. Before he left, Spike said
"Grandmaster Scorpion? Where is Grandmaster Sub-Zero?"
"He is readying for the tournament, as will I. And remember young one, this isn't just a tournament, it's for real. " Scorpion said
Spike nodded and made his way to the portal.
(In Canterlot City)
Spike had made his way back to Canterlot City and made his way to the Sports Arena where the tournament was taking place. As he did, the receptionist at the table said.
"Name?"
"Spike Drake, I came here to join the tournament."
"Age?"
"19."
"Ok, let me see if your on the list.....ok, here you are. Go to that hallway and to the front door, that is where the other fighters from Canterlot are." The receptionist said, pointing to a hallway.
Spike nodded and made his way to the entrance. The sign on the door said AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL ONLY.
"This must be the entrance." Spike said, looking at the door.
Spike reached the door, turned the knob and opened it. The moment he did, he saw a large collisium with a large field. Among the audience were a number of fighters from Canterlot that had attended. Some were wielding weapons and armor while some didn't. Even some students from Canterlot High and Crystal Prep were in attendance.
"Wow, it looks like alot of people are going to enter this tournament." Spike said with surprise
"Spike!" A voice called out.
The dragon ninja turned and saw Sub-Zero and Scorpion coming to him, with them was two young anthros like the Grandmasters along with two female anthro equines. The first was a young red dragon with red and black clothing with a whitebshirt underneath and red bandana. The second was a young blue earth equine in a blue and red vest and light brown pants with boots, who wore a large black hat with an noticeable blade.
The first female had a light blue coat and wavy black hair and wore a blue mask on with a blue dress on and blue fans in her hands. The other had a dark green coat and had a brown hoodie and green clothing on while holding a green staff and ninja star glowing a green aura.
"BTW, we know they're in human form, just imagine them in the anthro forms described."
"PINKIE! What are you doing?"
"Just saying, you took A LOT of time on this chapter."
"Ok, I deserve that, but I have other things to do as well you know. You know, like life and personal things. "
"You sure that's the reason~?"
"Yes, not to mention school and school work. Now can we please get back to the story?"
"Ok, ok, with that said, back to the story everyone!"
(Two hours of fourth wall fixing later)
"Masters!" Spike said, heading to the Grandmasters.
"We have brought help from another realm to help." Sub-Zero said
"Realm? You mean somewhere not from here?" Spike asked.
"Indeed young one. That is why we have these forms." The dragon in the bandana said.
"Wow, that's amazing!.....uhm....who are you two?" Spike said.
"I am Liu Kang."
"You may call me Kung Lao."
"I am Kitana."
"My name is Jade."
"My name is Spike."
Spike then bowed in respect to the new fighters, which they returned. They then began to look for a few places to sit and eventually did, seeing more people come through the door to enter or watch the tournament.
As Spike had reached an empty seat and sat down. After a few minutes, Spike noticed the Rainbooms had entered the area and had on their signature Crystal Guardian uniforms. He then turned and saw someone appear near the opposite side of the stadium. The person had an red oni mask and wore all black garb and was on a podium with a microphone in his hands.
"WELCOME ONE! WELCOME ALL! TO THE FIRST EVER TOURNAMENT OF MORTAL KOMBAT IN CANTERLOT CITY! WHERE FIGHTERS FROM DIFFERENT CITIES CAN FIGHT FOR THE HONOR OF THEIR HOME AND WIN A LEGENDARY PRIZE OF THEIR CHOICE!!!!!!" The masked man said in a loud voice on the microphone.
All of the fighters and audience members shouted with cheers and whistled in approval while Spike only said in confusion.
"Who is that guy?"
"EACH FIGHTER WILL BE HERE FOR THE NEXT 3 WEEKS AND DIVIDED INTO TEAMS OF THEIR CHOICE AND MAY CHOOSE UP TO 7 OR 8 GROUP MEMBERS! WHICHEVER TEAM LOSES ALL IT'S FIGHTERS WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE TOURNAMENT OR DISQUALIFIED IF FOUND CHEATING OR SABOTAGING OTHER COMPETITORS! WHICHEVER TEAM WINS WILL FOLLOW ME TO THE MASTER TO ACHIEVE THEIR PRIZE!"
The crowd of fighters and spectators cheered and roared with approval and applauded.
"WITH THAT SAID, MORTAL KOMBAT BEGINS....NOW!!!!"
Spike, the Grandmasters along with Liu Kang, Kitana, Kung Lao and Jade had been sent to the quarters they were assigned by two armed guards. The room had a few beds, two bathrooms a kitchen and a training room.
"Wow, talk about a cool crib. " Spikw said, looking around.
"This reminds me of the chambers in the previous tournament." Sub-Zero said
"Indeed." Jade acknowledged.
The group had began to manage as a loudspeaker, near the front door said.
"The first match will be Soarin from Canterlot vs Cyrax from the Lin Kuei!"
"It looks like a fighter from your town will face an Cyber Lin Kuei." Sub-Zero said
"Cyrax is a Cyber Lin Kuei?!" Spike asked
"Yes, he was converted and trained to be the best in any way possible. I hope I can one day save him and the other Cybers." Sub-Zero said with grief.
"In the meantime, I guess we shall see how this fight goes." Jade said
The others nodded and left to watch the fight.
(In the Audience stands)
Spike and the other groups had made their way to their seats and had began to prepare to watch as the fight would soon begin. The two fighters in question, Soarin and Cyrax began to come in the fight area of the stadium.
"Wait, is that not that young man who I defeated aiding Spike?" Sub-Zero questioned, looking at the teen pegasus in question.
"Yeah, it is. You think he'll be ok?" Spike asked
"Now that Mortal Kombat has been declared, we shall see." Scorpion said
(With Cyrax and Soarin)
The two fighters faced each other and began to ready themselves.
"Ready to be crushed tin can?" Soarin taunted
"Your ego will blind you in defeat boy. " Cyrax replied.
The two readied themselves, looking ready to hit one another.
"Round 1...."
The two glared harder at each other.....
"FIGHT!"
Soarin charged at Cyrax, ready to begin the first fight of the tournament...

Sorry if the chapter is a bit bad or rushed, had some personal things to deal with.
Soarin and Cyrax's match, the first match of the tournament had begun. Soarin had used both land and air attacks agaunst the cyberized Lin Kuei, but he either dodged or evaded with high speed and agility.
Soarin had attempted to blow wind from his wings to outmanuver Cyrax, but this did not deteriorate him in the slightest.
"Resistance will be met with extreme force. " Cyrax said, before he lunged and kicked Soarin's chest.
The blow pushed the pegasus teen back and caused him to land on his back. The cyberized Lin Kuei then shot a green net from his chest, but Soarin was able to dodge the net and kick Cyrax in the head, knocking him down.
"Ha! That's why I'm in the Canterlot Wondercolts bitch!" Soarin boasted, with some of the CHS members cheering.
"You will be destroyed. Then converted to serve the Lin Kuei. " Cyrax said, getting up and entering a fight stance.
The two opponents continued to fight, but Cyrax began to attack more faster and quicker and put Soarin on the defensive. As Cyrax attacked, he then flew in the air using his jet boots and fired heat blasts from his hands.
Soarin narrowly dodged the blasts and flew in the air and managed to kick the cyberized Lin Kuei in the head and uppercutted him and was about to punch with his left hand, but Cyrax caught his hand and twisted it.
"AAAAAAGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!" Soarin shouted in pain.
"SOARIN!!!!!!!!! " Rainbow Dash, Spitfire and Cheese Sandwich shouted.
Cyrax the kicked the equine teen in the gut, knocking him back and then slashed his chest and left wing with his metallic hands forming a sharp blade. The blows Cyrax did were so strong, Soarin had coughed out some blood.
"It would be wise if you yield naive child. " Cyrax taunted.
"I'd rather die fighting for Canterlot then surrender to a outdated juice machine!" Soarin said in defiance.
The crowd cheered as they continued to fight, with Cyrax putting Soarin on the defensive. As he continued to attack, Soarin, seeing an opening, grabbed his arm and threw him over his back, but Cyrax managed to slash his back with an hand knife.
"AAAGHG!!!" Soarin cried in pain.
Cyrax was about to deal another blow, but Soarin grabbed him by the arm and glowed a bright blue aura.
"TAKE THIS!" Soarin cried
The pegasus teen flew up with the cyberized Lin Kuei in the air in a high distance. After a few seconds, Soarin flew down at a rapidly fast rate as Cyrax began to heat from the force of the speed
BOOOOMMMMM!!!!!!!
A large cloud of dust spread around the arena and soon dissipated after a few seconds. Soarin was standing on top of a damaged Cyrax, but he had a lot of bruises and scars on his body and face.
"CYRAX IS UNCONSCIOUS AND UNABLE TO CONTINUE! SOARIN OF CANTERLOT IS THE WINNER!"
The spectators cheered as Soarin raised a hand in victory. The spectators from Canterlot cheered also just as much. Cyrax was taken away by the arena guards while two other arena guards helped Soarin back to the arena.
"THE NEXT DUEL WILL BE SPIKE, THE DRAGON WARRIOR VS THE DEADLY TARKATAN BARAKA!" The announcer said
Spike, hearing his name, got up and made his way inside the fight area, putting his mask on. His opponent also approached and revealed himself. He was a humanoid beast with large sharp teeth and yellow glowing slit eyes with armor on his chest and legs. He faced Spike and blades came out his forearms. Spike bowed in respect, with Baraka doing the same as they entered fighting stances.
"You are Sub-Zero's new apprentice?" Baraka asked
"He taught me more then you can cut." Spike said, pulling out his sword
"I will grind your flesh youngling!" Baraka replied.
"....FIGHT!" The announcer said
Baraka jumped in incredible speed and lunged at Spike. The dragon ninja began to block each of his slashes as Baraka slashed at him. Sensing an opening, he kneed Baraka back before swinging his sword a bit, where the blade glowed blue.
Baraka fired a blade at Spike, who dodged with a somersault, but as he got up quickly, Baraka slashed him in the upper right of his chest.
"Did that hurt child?" Baraka taunted.
"It stung. How's your face?" Spike replied
Baraka was confused, but felt something drop on his nose from his forehead, he put a finger on it and it was blood, due to a horizontal slash mark. The tarkatan roared and charged.
Spike, seeing his opponent was getting closer, swung his sword around before he dashed and slashed Baraka and broke his defense with a heavy slash. Seeing the opportunity, Spike forcefully kicked an energy of ice and fire twice at Baraka and used his rope dart to hit his shoulder.
"GET OVER HERE!!!"
With a savage pull, Spike pulled Baraka and did a filaming backflip kick once he was close, knocking him off the ground. Baraka got up, holding his arm in pain and struggling to get up.
"FINISH HIM!" The announcer said
Spike readied his hands and cold and fiery auras were emitted as he readied his fists. Baraka closed his eyes....but nothing happened.
"No, live with the fact you've been defeated in shame." Spike said, putting his hands down, the auras in his hands dissipating also.
"You spare me, why boy?" Baraka asked confused
"Because I fight to protect my home and for my honor and integrity, not kill needlessly unless I have to. Plua I have not conflict against you or anyone else." Spike said, leaving the area back to his seat as Baraka was taken away by the arena guards. Even the spectators were surprised at what just happened.
"IT APPEARS THE DRAGON WARRIOR HAS SPARED BARAKA AND WON THE MATCH! WHAT A SHOCKING OUTCOME!" The announcer said
As Spike sat down, Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Liu Lang, Kung Lao, Kitana and Jade looked at him with surprise.
"You spared Baraka. Why?" Kung Lao asked
"Because it may be a tournament, but I'm not going to kill needlessly for anyone's amusement. Not to mention, I may kill, but to protect, not destroy." Spike replied.
The warriors nodded as Jade said "You raise a valid point Spike."
"Two wise masters taught me that." Spike said, with Sub-Zero and Scorpion nodding with smiles.
"ALRIGHT EVERYBODY, THE NEXT FIGHT WILL BE SOON SO UNTIL THEN, HAVE SOME FUN UNTIL WE ANNOUNCE THE MATCH!" The announcer said
Everyone began to leave their seats and head to the doors near the arena.
(With the Rainbooms)
The girls were in their quarters and only sat around on their beds.
"Well, this tournament has been going well so far." Twilight said
"Yeah, given how both Spike and Soarin managed to win their matches, I say that Canterlot is off to a good start." Sunset added
"I just hope that our matches will be easy." Fluttershy said with reluctance
"Don't worry Shy, we got this." Applejack said
Baraka was in his quarters, recovering on his bed as he an arm sling and bandages on his head and chest. As he laid down, an unknown figure, who's face was not seen said
"The boy spared you? Why?"
"He says he doesn't kill needlessly nor to destroy or conquer as we did. He does it to protect his home." Baraka replied
"A noble act, but that won't save him for the next few rounds that will come." The figure said, befire proceeding to leave the quarters.
"And by the way Frost, both Sub-Zero and Bi-Han were right, your ambitions blind you to your judgement," Baraka said to figure.
Frost did not answer and left the room, exiting through the door.....
It was now time for the next match of the tournament. All the fighters had been in place in their seats and waited for the announcer to reveal the ones to fight.
"WELCOME BACK! LAST FIGHT WE SAW WAS WITH THE DRAGON WARRIOR SPIKE AND BARAKA THE DEADLY TARKATAN! IN A SURPRISING TURN OF EVENTS, THE DRAGON WARRIOR SPARED BARAKA AND HAS HONORABLY EARNED HIS OPPONENTS RESPECT! BUT THAT DOESN'T MATTER NOW FOR THIS NEXT FIGHT!"
The crowd cheered as the announcer spoke. The announcer then said with a excited tone.
"THIS NEXT FIGHT WILL BE BETWEEN SUB-ZERO, GRANDMASTER OF THE LIN KUEI VS FLASH SENTRY, THE CHAMPION OF THE CHS SCHOOL!"
The crowd cheered as Sub-Zero stood up and was about to go to the arena, until Spike told him.
"Be careful Grandmaster. He may be cocky, but he has skill."
"I know Spike, don't worry, I have an surprise for him." Sub-Zero told Spike.
Sub-Zero continued to the arena and stood in front of the now approaching Flash Sentry, who gave a look of recognition at him and said in surprise.
"Hey! Your that old ninja guy who beat up me, Soarin and Cheese Sandwich!"
"Watch your tongue child, show some respect for your elders and peers and you may actually earn something in your life." Sub-Zero said in response, his tone cold and annoyed.
"Kick his ass Flash!" Sunset said.
"You got this dude!" Rainbow Dash shouted.
"Break his face!" An CHS student shouted.
"ROUND 1......FIGHT!" The announcer shouted.
The fight began and Flash charged at the cryomancer. Who dodged with an icy blast and kicked an ice wave of energy to Flash, who dodged it and blasted it with a blast of winds from his wings. Sub-Zero however, released an energy wave of ice by stomping the ground, causing it to knock Flash down near a wall.
Sub-Zero, with a look of amusement said "What's the matter young one? This old ninja guy wearing you down?"
Flash gave an agitated look and said "Oh yeah?! Try this on for size!"
The angered pegasus flew in the air and spun around and managed to create a large tornado and swiftly used his wings to aim it at Sub-Zero/Kuai Liang, who only stood and did a few hand motions.
"Aw man! There's no way the ice guy is gonna dodge that!" Pinkie Pie said
"Um Pinkie? I don't think he's trying to dodge." Starlight said upon seeing Sub-Zero's hands glow.
Sub-Zero, now swinging his hands around and back placed his hands on the tornado with ease and used his ice powers to counter it, much to the surprise of both Flash and the entire audience.
"I DON'T BELIEVE IT! THE LIN KUEI GRANDMASTER HAS SHOWN HIS SKILL AND STOPPED A TORNADO FROM FLASH SENTRY!" The announcer shouted.
Sub-Zero, now making the tornado in the form of an ice hurricane full of icicles and icy blast waves, redirected the stormy hurricane at Flash, who gave a look of shock and tried to fly away from the hurricane, but was sucked in.
"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Flash screamed as he was sucked in the tornado.
After a few minutes, the ice tornado dissipated and Flash fell down, with some icicles impaled in his arms and chest and his clothes with rips and tears as he gets up and gave a look of rage and anger to the cryomancer. Flash got up, but struggled as his bruises were a bit serious. The announcer, seeing the determined pegasus get up, said
"IT LOOKS LIKE FLASH SENTRY IS STILL NOT GOING TO GIVE UP! LET THE FIGHT CONTINUE!"
"THAT'S IT!" Flash shouted as he flew in the air and continued the fight. He savagely attacked Sub-Zero with a flurry of punches and kicks and attacked at a fast pace, but Sub-Zero kept up and easily countered and dodged the blows Flash threw at him.
"Strong, yet sloppy and careless." Sub-Zero taunted and managed to counter with a icy punch to Flash's gut, knocking him back.
Sub-Zero, using this opportunity, laid a flurry of blows and kicks to Flash in a lightning fast speed.
With a finishing uppercut, Sub-Zero punched Flash's chin with a icy knuckle, knocking the teen pegasus to the ground.
"FLASH SENTRY HAS BEEN KO'D AND UNABLE TO CONTINUE, SUB-ZERO IS THE VICTOR!"
The crowd had cheered while most from CHS did not, Flash had been easily defeated by the cryomancer like it was a piece of cake. The Rainbooms themselves had looks of disbelief and watched as Sub-Zero bowed in respect and went back to his seat.
"THE NEXT FIGHT WILL BE FROST, THE CYBER LIN KUEI VS SPIKE THE DRAGON WARRIOR!"
Spike sat up next and bowed to Scorpion and Sub-Zero, who returned it as he went to face his opponent, who appeared from the opposite site of the arena.
The opponent, identified as Frost gave a look to Spike and said "So, you are the new protege of Sub-Zero and Scorpion?"
Spike only replied "Indeed. And I take it you are Frost?"
"Correct. Before we do fight, I have an offer for you boy." Frost said with an cold, enticing tone.
Spike raised an eyebrow as Frost continued to speak and approach him and spoke in a tempting voice.
"Join me. Join me and the Cyber Lin Kuei and we will show you the true potential of power then you can know. Sub-Zero hides his potential with that Shirai Ryu filth."
Spike only looked at Frost with a blank look as he heard her offer. Betray the two who had given him a second chance at life? Hurt the two masters that helped him when nobody else would?
"I choose death before dishonor." Spike refused with a hard gaze.
Frost only gave a frown beneath her mask and said with a disappointed tone.
"Such a wasted power. You could have been so much more."
The cybernetic Lin Kuei then charged and fought Spike, who had dodged and evades her blows.
As Spike dodged, he readied himself for a fight and said
"Bring it on!"

Hello? Sorry for the long wait, I had to deal with personal things and school but I'm doing the best I can.
I've been thinking of some crossovers stories that are based on the Spike harem stories made by Wildcard25, Phantom-Dragon and more authors with some crossovers like The Crow, Punisher, Logan, Hazbin Hotel and more.
Apologies for the wait.
Frost teleported in an blue wave of ice and jump kicked Spike. Though Spike managed to regain his footing and slammed his foot down on the ground, blasting Frost back with an ice wall. As they fought blow by blow, Spike kept his focus on her attacks.
"You could have joined me boy! Think of the power you could have had!" Frost said with disappointment.
"Power? At what cost? My will and honor? Something I'm sure you were too blind to understand." Spike replied
This angered Frost who charged her cryomancy from her cybernetic body. As she charged her hands and blasted any icy ball at Spike. Spike however, remained still and breathed in slowly and did a stance.
"What is he doing?" Rainbow Dash said in confusion
The ice ball was about to hit Spike, until his hands caught the blast and he did some hand motions that turned the ice blast in his hands into an even BIGGER form of ice energy.
"Whoa, Spike is doing that trick again!" Pinkie Pie noticed
"He's redirecting the blast to go back to her! Just like he did to me when he fought us!" Sunset further added.
Spike then aimed the blast at Frost and it managed to hit her, this time knocking her back to a wall of the stadium. This made the entire audience give looks of surprise at how Spike was able to redirect the blast at Frost.
Frost, while getting up and looking at her bruises, gave a look to Spike of anger and hate and shouted.
"DIE YOU LIZARD FILTH!"
She charged with increased speed and strength at Spike, who teleported in a fiery blast of hellfire and bicycle kicked her in the chest repeatedly. Spike continued to repeatedly kick Frost from her chest and head until she countered with an icy uppercut.
Spike managed to land safely and they circled each other, awaiting for whomever to strike first
"Now I see why Sub-Zero pushed you away!" Spike goaded
Frost, while in her defensive stance said "Excuse me?!"
Spike only pointed out further without an ounce of hesitation
"You say that Sub-Zero doubted you, failed you! But all he did was try to make you realize power isn't everything! You say that now your the perfect Lin Kuei, yet you still fail yourself! If anything, your practically like those hypocritical Rainbooms that had bullied me ever since. Your prideful yet stupid like Rainbow Dash!, strong yet deceitful and untruthful like Applejack, sadistic and feisty like Pinkie Pie, uncaring and cold like Fluttershy, selfish and greedy like Rarity, power-hungry and treacherous like Twilight Sparkle, borderline ruthless and deceptive as Sunset Shimmer and flat-out delusional as Starlight Glimmer! Your practically the whole package!"
The words of the dragon ninja cut deep in Frost. Who was left fuming and in disbelief at his remark. In fact, his words cut the Rainbooms deep too. Twilight was taken aback with a look of disbelief at his words, Rainbow Dash only looked ready to jump out her seat, Applejack hid her face with her hat to hide her shame, Fluttershy was left in tears and Pinkie Pie looked as if the color in her body and her hair had deflated, Sunset looked as if she was punched in the face as tears fell in her eyes while Starlight's jaw hit the ground while she she fell on her knees limp.
In fact, the words Spike spoke, had even struck some CHS students, with even Scorpion and Sub-Zero giving looks as well, Scorpion with minor agreement and Sub-Zero with disappointment at her lack of judgement. But Frost?.....she......was furious.
The cybernetic cryomancer only said in response with murderous intent.
"How.....dare you..........HOW. DARE. YOU!!!!??!?!?!?!?!"
She charged and began to release a flurry of ice attacks at Spike, who used the training he had learned to evade and counter her blows. As Frost continued her relentless assault on Spike, his eye flared and he countered with a flaming backflip kick, hitting her chin and breaking the left side of her mask off. Frost however, managed to gash Spike's chest on the right upper side while regaining her footing.
"Did that hurt lizard?" Frost taunted.
"I've had worse.....Frosty." Spike retorted.
"Don't call me that!" Frost angrily said
They continued their fight and kept on trading from blow to blow, kick to kick, but each of their attacks were even. Spike then continued in spite of his bruises, until he remembered something.
Spike then stood and began to close his eyes. he lightly lifted his left leg and his hands and looked at Frost directly in her eyes. This confused her and the audience as the announcer said
"IT APPEARS THE DRAGON NINJA IS STANDING THERE! WHAT IS HE DOING?!?!"
Frost only continued looking in his eyes confused, with Spike only moving his head around to follow her eyes as she moved her head, confusing her more. Frost, having enough, shouted.
"Enough! If you want to die! Then SO BE IT!"
Frost then charged an ice blast and launched it at Spike. The spectators looked away, what came next shocked them.
Spike, caught the ice blast, but this time he didn't redirect it, he only kept still and moved his hands around. Frost was left speechless, she fired more blasts, but Spike caught them and continued to move his body.
From the audience, Scorpion said "What is young Ryu doing?"
Sub-Zero then remembered and said with a look of recognition
"Do you remember when we were training a few weeks previously? The warrior that meditated near the statue?"
Scorpion was confused, but caught on and said
"Yes, of course, he is letting the attacks hit him, but he's not rebounding them, he's....he's forming his own attack."
As Frost continued to use more ice blasts, Spike caught them and spinned around more, with the icy aura in his hands and legs getting bigger and after it was big enough, he spinned twice and blasted Frost, with the icy blast hitting her in the chest with icy sparks and snow emitting as she he had been hit.
'I DON'T BELIEVE, SPIKE THE DRAGON NINJA HAS UNEXPECTEDLY SHOWED US A NEW TRICK THAT HAS DEFEATED THE CYBORG LIN KUEI GRANDMASTER FROST. THE DRAGON NINJA IS THE WINNER AND WILL ADVANCE IN THE TOURNAMENT!"
Most of the audience members cheered as Spike bowed with respect and then returned back to his seat with Sub-Zero and Scorpion. Scorpion gave an impressed look at Spike and said
"You remained loyal and maintained your honor in spite of Frost's offer young one. Why?"
Spike replied
"Because Masters, you both taught me power is not about strength and ambition, it's about protecting others, honor, commitment, putting others above yourself. Frost may have power and strength, yet she lacks proper judgement and rational thinking of her acts in the long run. You both taught me to be careful and not let my training and power corrupt me."
Sub-Zero and Scorpion nodded in respect and acknowledgement and Sub-Zero said "You've done well young Spike."
Spike nodded in turn with a smile as the announcer said
"THE NEXT FIGHT WILL COME SOON! UNTIL THEN EVERYBODY GO TO YOUR QUARTERS AND TAKE A BREAK!"
The audience members did so as did Spike, Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Jade, Kitana, Liu Kang and Jade went to the entrance that led to their quarters.

I'm so sorry for the long wait! I have been dealing with personal things and I was thinking of more stories to add.
Right now I actually have been thinking of a story inspired from The Dragon Knight of Canterlot City by WildCard25. The story will follow Spike, who is bullied in CHS and is killed in a ritual by some bullies, until he is revived by a demonic entity who grants him powers to fight crime in Canterlot City.
This story was also inspired by me watching The Crow, Ghost Rider, Hazbin Hotel, Helluva Boss and The Punisher. Let me know what I should do. Again, I apologize for the long wait.

The masked man took Spike to a an unknown area. As they walked, Spike asked the man out of curiosity.
"Um excuse me sir? Where are you taking me exactly?"
The masked man replied simply "Follow."
Spikw followed him and as soon as they reached their location, Spike was shocked. The placed looked to be an large temple of ice.
"Whoa, this place is huge!" Spike said
"It is the home of my clan." The man replied
Spike only gave a look of surprise as he asked him "I apologize for asking, but who are you?"
The man in reply said "Many refer to me as Grandmaster. But you may refer to me as Sub-Zero young one."
Spike nodded his head and asked again "Ok, well Sub-Zero, my name is Spike. But, I need to know, what am I doing here?"
"I am here to train you dragon warrior." Sub-Zero said
"Me? A dragon warrior? No offense but I think your mistaken." Spike said
"We will find out soon, but for now, you will train under me. Understood?" Sub-Zero said
Spike, was left deep in thought. On one hand, he felt this was a bit suspicious, but on the other, he had nothing to lose. With a sigh, Spike said
"Ok."
Sub-Zero nodded and motioned for Spike to follow him.
(In the temple)
Spike was first lying on a bed and Sub-Zero had began to treat his leg. His hands glowed icy blue and he placed them on Spike's injured leg. After a few seconds, Spike's leg had began to heal and Sub-Zero motioned for the young dragon teen to follow him.
Spike was first seen cleaning the drawers and desks of a night stand repeatedly fron left to right. As he did, Sub-Zero watched him carefully. As he did the chores, Spike asked
"So, what exactly am I doing?"
"As you do these exercises, you will gain more muscle memory and defense. Continue." Sub-Zero replied
Spike continued to do so and as he did. He then began to wax the walls and on the floor.
"Remember, Wax on, Wax off." Sub-Zero said
Spike continued to do so and as he did, began to slowly increase his mental balance and memory. Sub-Zero watched as he first went from waxing the temple area to fixing the dresser drawers. As Spike continued, Sub-Zero said.
"Stop."
Spike did so and said "What's the matter?"
"This was to test your defense. Now we shall see if you have learned." Sub-Zero said
The grandmaster attempted to punch Spike, who quickly used the movements he learned to quickly catch his fist. Sub-Zero then attempted a combo of high punches and low kicks. But Spike managed to block and duck from his high attacks and low attacks.
"Good, sloppy, but good. now we will train to balance your mind." Sub-Zero said
He led Spike to another part of the temple.
(In the training room)
As the two trained, Spike initially felt the training was difficult as he continued, but began to slowly gain more skill and physical strength. First he had learned to balance his stance, where he was to stand on one leg with his hands in viper like motion on a dragon head statue.
He then was to maintain the stance while being hit from behind. He initially felt it was hard, until Sub-Zero said
"Come."
Spike stopped the stance and followed the grandmaster. He was led to an area with different symbols. In the middle was a bowl of large water, which had a yin and yang symbol appearing. Spike was led to the water and said
"Drink." Sub-Zero said
The young dragon teen slowly stopped to the large bowl, dipped his head slowly and began to drink some of the water. After a few seconds, Spike pulled his head out and said
"Whoa, that water tasted really good. But why did I feel a flash in my head?"
"It is ancient water that allows you to see your mind. I used it myself when my master trained me at a young age."
Spike said "But how does that help me avoid pain or getting hurt."
Sub-Zero only looked at him and said "What do you see in the water?"
"My reflection." Spike said
Sub-Zero then moved the water a bit and said again "Now what do you see?"
"It's blurry."
"Right. Be still. Like the water. Quiet and calm." Sub-Zero said and then pointed at Spike's head and heart
"In here. And here."
"So I stay still and do nothing while I feel getting hurt or if I'm in pain?"
"Staying still and doing nothing are two different things."
Spike was confused at his words but continued as he began again, but first as he did, began to slowly calm down and find a peace of mind. Sub-Zero then hit Spike in the back with a kendo stick, but he didn't feel it.
The grandmaster continued to strike, from the back to the front, but still Spike remained in the stance. After a few more strikes, Sub-Zero stopped and said
"I will make it harder this time."
Sub-Zero used his power to make the surrounding area more colder. But Spike remained in stance, even when Sub-Zero hit him with the kendo stick behind him on his back.
"Well done. Your next lesson awaits."
"Whoa. How did I do that?" Spike asked
"Pain may come to you, but you know to let that pain flow away like still water."
Spike stopped and followed his master and they continued to train. They went from breaking boards, gripping or walking on hot coals, doing exercises, doing other stances and countering low blows or high blows once more. As they trained, Spike said
"Um grandmaster, may I ask something?"
"Yes?"
"This may be a little strange since in Canterlot the ponies use magic..and I'm not a pony. I was wondering if you can teach me that too." Spike asked
Sub-Zero gave a mixed look at the young dragon and said
"Young Spike, you cannot use magic as you are a dragon. But you wield a more mightier force. I will help you in discovering it as much as I can."
Spike only nodded and followed the Grandmaster to the next lesson. As they reached another room, Spike said
"So what do we do know?"
"I will teach you to harness ice and feel your enemy. Along with how to survive against Equestrian magic.
(Back at Canterlot)
Flash was seen along with his 2 friends/cronies walking towrads a large building.
"Flash, are you sure we should do this?" Soarin asked with sweating fear.
"Yeah, we can get in deep shit." Cheese Sandwich said
"Yes I'm sure! We gotta do this to raise our status up and increase my chance to be more stronger. Besides it's no major harm done. " Flash said in cocky denial.
This only left his two friends more uneasy, but they complied. As they went to the building. They began to vandalize it from the windows to the doors amd eventually in the rooms.
At CHS, Celestia was on the phone and she was NOT happy.
"Principal Cinch, I assure you that we had nothing to do with the vandalism at Crystal Prep." Principal Celestia said
"Don't believe me? Look at the evidence I sent you." The voice on the phone spoke.
Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna did just that and were shocked at what they saw.
"Because of this transgression, I want a duel from championof CHS to make amends. If we win, your students come to my school and you have to shut down CHS." Cinch said
"And if we win?" Principal Celestia asked
"That's your choice. Oh, by the way, since I'm reasonable, you have 3 days to prepare. Tick tock." Cinch said before hanging up
Vice Principal Luna, with a furious look, went to the Intercom and said
"Flash Sentry, Cheese Sandwich and Soarin please report to the office. NOW!"
The 2 principals waited and after a few minutes, the 3 teens came in.
"What's the matter?" Soarin asked
"Does this answer your question?" Principal Celestia asked, pulling outbher phone.
The 3 saw the video and were left in dismay and shock.
"Well? What do you have to say for yourselves?" Vice Principal Luna asked
"Thank you." Flash said arrogantly
"THANK YOU?!?! DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'VE DONE!?!?!" Vice Principal Luna said angrily
"YOU THREE FOOLS HAVE PUT OUR SCHOOL IN DANGER!!!" Principal Celestia shouted
"Psshhh, it's no big deal, I can fight her champion anytime." Flash tried to reason.
"That's not the only issue Mr. Sentry!!! There's also how it has to be a Champion vs Champion match of the schools. You aren't the Champion!" Principal Celestia pointed out.
Soarin, who also had enough said
"Plus, you know that because of your little scheme, that you also can't fight their Champion unless they refused it."
"And that is exactly what we are doing." Vice Principal Luna said with disgust
"What the shit, Soarin?!?" Flash said angrily
"Shut up you blue haired limp dick! I'm done with your stupid goal of taking over the school. Hero my ass, your a phony!" Soarin said
Cheeses only nodded saying "Plus you also kept abusing your privileges when you made us do your work for you. I'm done too."
The two only looked at him with disgust, with Flash shocked that his 2 friends left him and waited outside the office.
"As of today, you have lost both your club position and your rank Mr. Sentry. I hope it was worth it." Principal Celestia said in scorn
Flash only gave a look of dismay and fury, but left and sat outside the waiting room, with Soarin and Cheese awaiting their punishment.....
(Back at the temple)
Spike was currently mastering the use of ice and as he trained, he was able to use his own cryomancy in the form of dragon fire from his mouth or his hands.
Sub-Zero continued to throw ice daggers at Spike, but he blocked and countered and his hands emitted green flaming auras.
"Very good, young Spike." Sub-Zero said
"Thank you Grandmaster." Spike said with a happy smile.
The two bowed to each other, until Spike's phone rang. Spike pulled it out his pocket and said in fear.
"Oh no! CHS is having a dual with Crystal Prep!"
"Why?"
"Something about a vandalism, but the worst thing is it's Champion vs Champion. The Champion for CHS is still sick." Spike said
"Then we shall leave them, they deserve penance for their lack of discipline. I know since I saw a few students there steal from others." Sub-Zero said in disgust.
"But Grandmaster! Please! I know they deserve it! But not like this! Help me train more and then they will be punished.
"....Very well young one. Follow me, your next lesson awaits." Sub-Zero said
The grandmaster and Spike went to train in Spike's next lesson. He had to prepare to save CHS from it's downfall.
Spike was in the Lin Kuei temple and he was sleeping in the quarters he was given by Sub-Zero. As he slept, he slowly opened his eyes.
Spike began to get up and got off his bed. As soon as he finished his rest, he put his suit on and made his way to the Temple arena to train.
The Grandmaster was meditating and as Spike approached, he opened his eyes and turned his pupils.
"You are awake. Good" Sub-Zero said
Spike bowed to the Grandmaster with respect.
"What is the next part of training master?" Spike said
"Follow me Spike." Sub-Zero said.
(On the Temple Roof)
Spike was once again blindfolded and balancing on the roof. Sub-Zero was behind him and did nothing for a moment.
The air flowed through the atmosphere in the cold temple area and the roof where the two ninja stood as Spike only readied himself of what would come. The blindfolded dragon teen may not have been able to see what was going on, but he had to know how to feel it.
As Spike stood, he heard footsteps sprinting and the air of the world touch his skin as he ducked and evaded a kick from Sub-Zero. Sub-Zero continued to attack Spike, but the young warrior managed to dodge and evade his blows by ducking or moving by the side.
The two continued to train as Spike managed to hone his other senses as Sub-Zero attacked him, putting him on the defensive.
(At Sweet Apple Acres)
It was slowly becoming morning. Applejack was busy changing into her clothes for the day. As she was putting on her shirt and orange button shirt on, she then put on some orange panties with red apples on them and then began to put on bright blue jeans. She had a bit of a struggle putting on her tight jean pants on her because her big, jiggling apples made it a bit hard. After a few seconds, however, she managed to put her jeans on and button them up. She then put on her signature Stetson hat on.
"Ahh come on. Is mah behind this big enough for mah clothes?" Applejack said in annoyance
However, unbeknownst to the apple farm girl, she was being watched by a few unknown figures hiding behind some trees.
"Are the others ready?" A male voice said.
"Yeah. They set the explosives near some of the trees." Another voice said
The first one pulled out a phone and texted something. After a few seconds, the phone had a message. It said.
Good. When they are gone, tell us. We are going to steal any valuables, destroy the farm and kill those Apple lovers. We can't risk them ruining our business. When your done, you will be rewarded.
"Good. And if we have enough time. I wanna plow that apple bitch's apples if ya catch my drift." The second male said with a perverted tone.
"Count me in. With that and the paycheck Flim and Flam promised us. It's a bonus." The first male said
However, they were unaware an figure in blue like attire was watching them and having heard everything, left the area quietly.
(Back at the Lin Kuei Temple)
Spike was continuing his training with Sub-Zero. As he dodged while blindfolded, he managed to knock Sub-Zero down with a kick to his abdomen.
Sub-Zero got up and gave a smile "Very good dragon warrior."
Spike bowed with respect and honor, with Sub-Zero doing the same. As they looked up to each other, a Lin Kuei walked up and said
"Grandmaster, one the boy's friends is in trouble."
Spike and Sub-Zero gave looks of worry as Spike asked
"Who?"
"She has a hat on her head and a blonde hair color." The Lin Kuei soldier said
"That must be Applejack." Spike realized.
"What is the reason for her trouble?" Sub-Zero asked
"A few men were hiding near her farm and set traps. I believe they intend to steal and attack her. One mentioned this Flim and Flam were helping them also." The Lin Kuei soldier said
"Oh no! Flim and Flam are one of the most wanted con artists in Canterlot!" Spike said
"I have heard of them, they even tried to steal some objects from my temple." Sub-Zero said with a clear tone of anger and fury, giving an murderous look.
"Master. I know I don't trust Applejack yet, but I have to stop them." Spike said
"Very well dragon warrior. But remember, only end them if they refuse their depravity and greed. Killing may seem like the solution, but only from how you see it."
Spike nodded and left the temple to get to the home of Applejack: Sweet Apple Acres.
(At Sweet Apple Acres)
Spike managed to successfully reach the barn near the entrance. So far, everything looked intact.
"I better be careful." Spike said.
The young dragon warrior put his mask on and stealthily entered the farm. He neared the barn and climbed using his rope dart to reach the roof. As he stealthily balanced, a familiar voice was heard.
"Hey! Let me go ya jerk!"
"That sounds like Apple Bloom. " Spike thought.
Cautiously nearing the barn window, Spike used his rope dart to look and saw what happened through the barn window. The sight gave him a sick look. Inside was Apple Bloom on a chair tied up being watched by two burly guards.
"Alright ya little runt. Tell your granny to hand over your land to us and we'll go peacefully." The first thug said
"Never!" Apple Bloom refused.
"Say that again, and we'll blow your whole farm in BITS!" The second thug said, pulling out a detonator.
Spike, seeing everything, knocked on the window. This drew the thugs' attention.
"What was that?" The second thug said.
"I dunno. I looked like it was at that window." The first one replied.
"Could be wind or a bird." The second one said.
"I'll check it, you make sure this little runt doesn't try anything." The first thug told his colleague.
Spike patiently waited for the thug to get near the window. As soon as he did, pulled out his sword and stabbed him in the throat through the window.
The dragon ninja jumped through the window and threw two shuriken's at the second thug's arm and left eye. Spike then elbowed him in the chest, grabbed his arm and dislocated it and knocked him out with a chop. He saw the tied up Apple Bloom and helped her up.
"You ok?" Spike asked.
Apple Bloom only hugged Spike and said "Thank you thank you so much! Please! Ah need to help mah Granny Smith and mah siblings! They said they were gonna steal and blow up our home!"
Spike, remembering what the other thug said, went to him and saw the detonator in his shirt pocket. He grabbed it and after putting it in his front pocket, said
"Lead the way."
Apple Bloom nodded and led Spike outside the farm through the trees with apples. As Spike followed her, he only thought.
"Wow. This is the first time I've actually been seeing Applejack's sister like this. I guess they might be worried then I thought."
As Spike followed Apple Bloom, he noticed some screaming coming from the corner.
"What was that?!" Spike asked
"It sounds like it came from there!" Apple Bloom pointed at one of the open corners of the orchard.
The two ran and they saw numerous thugs beaten up and groaning in pain. In front was none other then Granny Smith, who was wielding a shotgun. The elderly matriarch of the Apple family reloaded the weapon with some shells and cocked it.
"Granny Smith! Yer ok!" Apple Bloom said with relief and happiness.
"Of course ah ahm sugar. These no-good, limp dick varmints ain't able to take me down easily!" Granny Smith said, cocking her shotgun with a determined frown.
Spike smiled and said "Now we have to help Applejack and Big Macintosh. Do you know where they are?"
"Sadly no. But ah last saw them near the left side of the farm." Apple Bloom said
"Alright. You two cover the grounds. I'll use the trees to cover the area and look." Spike said
The two nodded and did so. Spike jumped from tree to tree to look for the two missing siblings while Granny Smith held a shivering Apple Bloom close by and looked around on foot.
BANG!
A loud sound was heard.
"What was that noise?!" Apple Bloom said
Spike continued to look and heard the noise also. He jumped to another tree to get a better view. He quickly looked and saw the two Apples in question were fighting off some thugs but having trouble. They were near a far part of the apple orchard and there were 4 pick-up trucks that had their possessions. Big Macintosh was being piled on by some thugs while Applejack was holding out well, but the thugs were overwhelming her.
"I see them! Follow me!" Spike said
The dragon ninja led the two Apples to the area and saw what was happening. They joined the fight as Spike saved Applejack and Big Macintosh while Granny Smith blasted away a large number of thugs away from her shotgun.
The fight lasted as Spike slashed and used his elemental abilities to defeat the thugs. One of them, still beaten and the ground, pulled out a gun and said.
"Dodge this lizard!"
He shot the gun and the bullet flew near Spike. The dragon ninja moved his body back and ducked before the bullet could hit him. The bullet flew directly near Applejack...or more specifically....her posterior. The bullet then hit Applejack's jean-clad butt, causing a small tear in her jeans.
"Ooohhhhh!" Applejack said in slight pleasure and pain at the bullet hitting her buttocks. She gave a look of anger at the thug and said
"So ya like hitting a gal's apples huh?"
She thrust her leg up and then angrily kicked him in the face. The kick was so powerful, his nose looked fractured.
After the thugs were dealt with. Spike helped the Apples retrieve their belongings.
"What happened?" Spike asked.
"While we were getting ready to help Big Macintosh with his date with Sugar Belle. These varmints jumped us out of nowhere." Applejack said
"Who could've done this and sent this many criminals after us?" Big Macintosh.
As they were thinking, there was a ringing sound coming from one of the thugs. Spike looked and pulled out a phone from the thug Applejack kicked and saw a text message.
"Make sure to steal everything. The Flim Flam brothers cannot risk more chances of bankruptcy."
"It says that Flim and Flam are involved in this." Spike said.
"FLIM AND FLAM!?" All the Apples said in shock.
"Are ya sure Spike?" Big Macintosh asked.
Spike showed them the phone and they saw the text message. Applejack and the rest of the Apple family gave looks of acceptance and tied up the surviving thugs.
(A few hours later)
The police had arrived and arrested the thugs that were apprehended. As they did, Captain Shining said.
"Good job. You two may have killed a few of these criminals, but I managed to talk to the officers and tell them of the circumstances based on the evidence and your statements. Thanks to the phone you showed us, we have warrant out for those two douchebags arrests and their assets have been frozen while they are being tracked with the text message you showed."
"Thanks officer." Apple Bloom said gratefully
"An what of them bombs they placed in our farm?" Big Macintosh asked
"We sent the bomb squad to disarm them and so far they're almost done."
This relieved the family as Shining went with the other cops to round up the remaining criminals and the police cars drove off.
Spike, with a nod, seeing things were ok, proceeded to leave.
"Spike! Wait!"
Applejack ran to the dragon teen and managed to catch up with him.
"Ah wanna say thanks." Applejack said with gratitude
"DÅitashimashite (Your welcome)." Spike replied in Japanese
Applejack was confused, until Spike said "Your welcome."
Spike then however, continued to walk away from her.
"Spike! Please! Ah wanna talk!" Applejack pleaded
"And I don't wish to listen." Spike replied, continuing to walk away.
The other Apples saw what she was doing and ran to reach them.
"Spike! Ah know yer mad! An ya have every right! But Ahm seriously sorry for how me an the girls treated ya!" Applejack apologized with a pleading one.
Spike only ignored her further and continued to walk away as she tried to reason with him. While he was far away from Applejack, someone else caught up to him.
However, as he walked away, Granny Smith managed to reach him and said
"Spikey? Ah understand yer upset at Applejack and her friends. An believe me, so am I. But at least talk to her."
'I already told you. I'll do it when I am ready. Friendship has to heal."
"And I agree Spike, but how long do you want that hurt and anger to hurt ya like that? Ah care about you cause yer family to me. Ya helped me and Big Mac on the farm, me when Applejack and Apple Bloom was sick and when we were in trouble of being bankrupt. I know you didn't have it easy with Applejack and her friends in the past. But that don't mean you can be better on in the future." Granny Smith said
"I know Granny Smith. I said she and I are only acquaintances. I said I forgive her for what she did to me, but not for how she betrayed my trust and care about her and the others. When the time comes I will forgive her. Just not now." Spike replied.
Granny Smith, while reluctant at his reason, complied and said "Alright Spike. Thanks again."
Spike nodded with a warm smile and said "Will you all be ok?"
"Well, since you helped us save our home. We should at least give ya something in turn." Granny Smith said
Spike only raised a brow and asked "Such as?"
(Inside the barn)
Spike was eating some food with Apple Family. While he was a little reluctant to accept, he complied to respect their gratitude. As he ate an Apple Pie, his eyes twinkled, remembering how tasty they were.
As Spike ate with the Apples, he noticed Applejack coming over to him again. He readied his sword and almost unsheathed it.
Seeing what Spike doing, Applejack put her hands up saying "Spike, wait!"
"What?" Spike asked
"Ah hope one day, you can forgive me and tha other gals." Applejack said
Spike, with a slow sheath of his sword nodded and said "Me too."
(At night)
After he ate with the Applejack and her family, Spike overlooked the night sky outside the barn and sat near one of the apple trees. As he looked in the sky, the stars twinkled as he only shed a slight tear in his eyes.
"Ya'll ok?"
Spike however, continued to ignore her. Applejack sighed and sat next to him, groaning in pain a bit as she did.
"You ok?" Spike asked.
"Well, the varmint who shot mah dukes hit mah jean pocket and my left cheek. The doctor had to stitch it and put a little medicine for it too. But aside from that, ah'll be ok."
Spike only nodded and looked at the sky again. As he did, Applejack scooted closer to him slowly. Spike only ignored her as she touched him.
"Ah wanna know sugarcube. How did you become like this?" Applejack asked.
"Like what?" Spike replied.
"This whole ninja thing. Ya'll managed to beat me and the girls and other ponies who are either pegasi or unicorns. Some say your basically a legend." Applejack said
"Why would I tell you or your friends of all people?" Spike asked in slight anger.
Applejack backed away in offense, but accepted it and said "Because, ya seem so mature now. More then me and the other students of CHS."
"Why would I tell you something you don't deserve to know?" Spike responded.
Applejack was about to speak but stopped. She knew he had a point and he further said
"You're supposed to be the Element of Honesty. You taught me the meaning of family and home and you used me and threw me life I was some coat you hang every day. I was always there for you and how did you repay me? By attacking me and calling me useless at everything. And now your suddenly asking how I became this?"
Applejack only gave a look of remorse and realized the point in his statement. She only silently accepted it in tears as he got up and walked away. As he walked, Applejack asked
"Do you need a ride home?"
Spike only ignored her and walked away silently back to where he would train: The Lin Kuei temple. Applejack only gave a few silent tears she failed to repress as Spike left in mixed disgust and anger....
"Oh Spike...Ahm sorry....Ah love you.....Ah wish Ah could take things back...." Applejack said in her thoughts.
